King Street Ballroom & Perch was one of a handful of venues we had scheduled a tour with. However, Nicole from catering responded the quickest and instantly sent us info and scheduled a tour right away. We are wedding planners and already knew what we were looking for and what to expect.Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by Nicole and she talked to us like we were family and made us feel really comfortable. She first brought us to the ballroom and our jaws just dropped—we couldn’t believe how beautiful this venue is. It had everything we were looking for from the high ceilings, the views, the spacious bar area and perch. Our biggest worry was if the ballroom could accommodate our 400 person guest list and Nicole assured us it could be done. Nicole then showed us the different types of hotel rooms and we couldn’t believe how great the views were from the rooms and the amenities the hotel had at such a competitive price. Not to mention, the sales team made booking rooms for our guests a breeze and were so organized and always updated us on the status of the rooms that were being booked.Fast forward to our menu tasting, they showcased our menu with a beautiful setup. Our food choices were high quality and very flavorful. When it finally came to our wedding, the entire catering and banquet staff were so accommodating. They always made sure we were taken care from setup, to the cocktail hour and reception, to breakdown.Aside from the beautiful space, to great food, and customer customer service, what we also really cherish is the friendships we built with all the staff at King Street Ballroom and Embassy Suites. Without their hospitality and assistance, our wedding day would not have been a success without them.We will definitely be adding King Street Ballroom & Perch and Embassy Suites as a preferred vendor for our future clients. Just had my wedding here August 2023 and had a great experience. Nicole (Director of Catering & Events) has a ton of experience in the wedding industry and was very communicative throughout the entire process. I had toured 10+ venues before King St and ultimately chose this venue due to 1) location 2) outdoor patio ceremony space 3) beautiful ballroom with a TON of natural light from floor to ceiling windows 4) ability to accommodate special requests. I had 200 guests at my wedding and received so many compliments about how beautiful and clean the venue was. Catering and bar are booked via the venue/hotel. We opted for a custom buffet menu and bar with signature cocktails that were delicious! We also booked a hotel room block for our family, wedding party, and out-of-town guests. Jordan made the hotel block process very easy for us and what's even better is that the hotel rooms are on the same floor as the venue space, which made it very convenient for our guests (especially elders). I booked the presidential penthouse for my bridal party and the guys booked the cityscape penthouse. Highly recommend if you plan on doing hair/makeup onsite - the views made for amazing photo opportunities and hair/makeup had ample space to setup! The only downside to this venue is parking - the hotel does not own the parking garage and the venue is right next to Century Link Field so if there's a game or event happening on your day then parking prices are hiked. There was a Seahawks pre-season game on our wedding day so I created a parking map for my guests with options to park at cheaper nearby lots. Aside from the parking cost, most guests were actually really excited that they could see the game from the reception ballroom! If you book this venue - I would highly recommend opening a Hilton credit card and placing all of your venue charges onto that card to accrue points for a free honeymoon hotel stay! That's what we did and it was the best decision! Overall, a very beautiful venue with top-notch service! Reviewed on 12-09-2023
