Once a working mill, it is now a full concierge banquet hall welcoming couples and their loved ones to celebrate their fairy tale. Kings Mills Banquet Facility has an abundance of beautiful spaces to host both your wedding ceremony and reception. You can exchange vows in the Historic Kings Chapel, on the Patio overlooking a waterfall, or in the rustic Springhouse for an unforgettable experience. Afterward, you can choose from five beautiful ballrooms to host your wedding feast and celebration. The largest ballroom, Paradise, can accommodate up to 300 guests and has large exposed beams and unique stone walls. Large windows pool natural light throughout the room and boast breathtaking views of the waterfall onsite. Paradise also has an oak bar and a balcony, perfect for your DJ or entertainment. We LOVED having our dream wedding at Kings Mills! We fell in love with the beautiful scenery and thought it was perfect for our dream fall wedding. We had such a wonderful experience throughout the entire process. The staff was always quick to answer all of our questions and had great suggestions, which made planning so easy. Our guests had a fantastic time and raved about the food and beautiful atmosphere. Our wedding day at Kings Mills was everything we wanted it to be and more! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I chose Kings Mills for our wedding ceremony and reception back in November 2021. We chose them because the location was stunning, the prices were comprehensive and affordable--nothing hidden unlike every other wedding venue we pursued, and they were willing to work with us for a short deadline. We had a 5 month engagement, but even with that short notice Kings Mills was accommodating and made the process easy, ensuring we made all the decisions in a timely manner and every detail was covered. Each time we met and discussed details further we always left with an updated pricing estimate which was SO helpful! Additionally, the location is SO beautiful that we were able to have our ceremony, reception and all of our wedding photos/video done on site. It was so smooth and our guests loved not needing to travel to another location for the reception and enjoyed exploring the area and taking their own photos while we had ours done on the property. We absolutely LOVED having our wedding there. We had guests come from all over the country and everyone said the same thing--they were overwhelmed by how beautiful the venue was, the hospitality and how polite the staff were, and many said they are keeping the venue in mind for any future events and weddings to recommend to people. We can't say enough good things about our experience with them!

We had our dream wedding at Kings Mills! They made the process so easy, took care of almost everything. Very receptive and easy to communicate with, would answer all emails within the day. Thorough and addressed all questions and concerns. The day of the wedding were on top of everything and made sure we had no issues throughout the whole night. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! The setting and rooms are gorgeous, great for pictures. Would definitely recommend Kings Mills to anyone getting married!

We were lured in but empty promises made during the initial consultation as well as the beauty of the venue. However, we quickly began to realize we had made a mistake. First, any dealing with Jeff raised red flags. The first time I spoke to Jeff was to discuss a provision in the contract that required us to indemnify Kings Mills for their own willful acts or wanton misconduct. Such a provision is rarely enforceable in the eyes of the Courts. But nonetheless we persisted in using them and paid our deposits. Then COVID hit. Obviously we understood that with COVID things would be hectic, the industry would suffer and we would have to move dates. What we did not expect was that the venue would be so hard to work with. We tried a few times to move dates but could not reach an agreement. Understanding our deposit was non refundable we did not demand nor expect the venue to return them. However, we did make, what I consider to be, a reasonable request. We asked if we could host a different type of party at Kings Mills and apply the $3k deposits towards that. We were refused and told at most we could apply $500 and forfeit the rest. In my opinion it seems Kings Mills wanted to keep the money from the deposit without providing a service.

I don’t know where to begin!! We had an amazing wedding at Kings Mills. Our ceremony by the waterfall was stunning, hors d’oeuvre served at cocktail hour were delicious and plentiful. Dinner was cooked perfectly. Desserts was amazing!! Tom and his crew truly took care of all our needs and those of our guests. Truly grateful for everything. It was a perfect night!

Couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding day! The ceremony outdoors was absolutely breathtaking and the reception hall could not be beat. The staff including Mr. King were so easy to work with and responsive leading up to the day of and this only continued as they easily walked us through our special day. We felt so relaxed and able to enjoy our day with them in charge of everything. They set up the venue beautifully, kept things running on time and smoothly, and helped break everything down at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend!

We had our wedding at Kings Mills and I’m so happy we did! The venue is stunning especially in the fall. The people are great as well, so easy to work with, they responded to all of my emails and questions within minutes! We worked mostly with Jessica and Mr. King and they were awesome, they made the experience so smooth and easy for us, especially the day of. Our guests gave us so many compliments on how great the venue was and the food as well. So many delicious appetizers!! They were also really cool about letting us have our dogs (they were in the wedding) there as well. That was a huge plus for us. I highly recommend Kings Mills, beautiful venue with excellent service!!

I had my wedding there on 09/07/2018 and could not have been happier. From day one, they were beyond amazing. They were quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls, no matter how many questions I had and took the time to explain everything that we needed to know, since we knew absolutely nothing. I loved that the venue is family owned and operated because we really got to know the King family and staff and it was wonderful to have them with us on our wedding day. All of the guests could not stop raving over how gorgeous the venue was, both inside and out. They were stuffed after cocktail hour, but still managed to eat dinner and say how great the food was. Kings Mills gives you a lot of options for your event which really means the day special and unique. I could probably go on forever about how amazing it was, but then no one would read the entire thing. Thank you so much for giving us an amazing wedding day!

I found my wedding reception first, so finding a place just to do the ceremony was a challenge. Most wedding venues in the area do not allow to just have just the ceremony, it's required to have the reception there as well. Thankfully with Kings Mill, they do accommodate that! From start to finish, they where attentive in staying in contact with you, especially if you have a lot of questions. They all collectively work with you, so don't be confused when your email has three different names! The venue itself is pretty amazing, the stone structure next to the creek that has a little waterfall make pretty breathtaking pictures. We picked the option to be inside the chapel, which sits a pretty big crowd (I had about 180 guest), somehow it still felt intimate and the stone altar was a nice touch as well. My day turned out more that I could ever dreamed. I highly recommend. Thank you!!

We worked with Jessica from the beginning and she truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The food was amazing everything from apps to main course, we even had snacks and drinks brought to us while taking pictures! This was so clutch, especially after hours of smiling for the camera. We would highly recommend Kings Mills to anyone. It's such a unique setting and we could not have asked for anything more for our wedding :)

Mr. King and Julie stayed at our reception the entire time to ensure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, we were very pleased to hear all our guests enjoyed their meals. The Kings truly care for the couples who decide to celebrate such a important day at their facility, they worked with us and helped us bring in unique touches to make it our own. I would highly recommend Kings Mills and am truly thankful that we were able to have such caring people to work with to ensure our day went off without a hitch.

The Kings Mills was the perfect wedding venue. Everyone is very, very good at their job from the moment we scheduled a visit to the night of the wedding to the days after. I felt like the most stress free bride, because of the staff at Kings Mills! I am still having people mention how great the food, service, and location of the Kings Mills. We were just married on 12.3 and everything from the first meeting until the final visit to the property to pick up decorations was perfect. Mr. King and his entire staff and the definition of caring, courteous, and happy people. They made planning the wedding so less stressful and the actual day was more than I could ever imagined! I felt like absolute royalty! The care that goes into their work shows. They made me feel like my wedding was as important to them as it was to me. I couldn't have asked for anything more. And the food is A-MAZ-ING!! All of my guest were just raving about the food. I would 100% refer Kings Mills to any bride looking for a unique place with an absolute stellar staff!

Kings Mills is the absolute PERFECT place for your wedding, or any event I can imagine. We were just married on 12.3 and everything from the first meeting until the final visit to the property to pick up decorations was perfect. Mr. King and his entire staff and the definition of caring, courteous, and happy people. They made planning the wedding so less stressful and the actual day was more than I could ever imagined! We just had a wedding at Kings Mills that was excellent. From the ceremony outside by the waterfalls, to the never ending apperitizers, to the ceremony in a high ceiling room with wooden beams - it was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Yes they had restrictions but they spelled them out and worked with us on the arrangements and vendors. It was the perfect place for my daughter to get married.

We just had a wedding at Kings Mills that was excellent. This is a great place. I got married here 2 weeks ago. The service was great during the wedding reception. The waiting staff was little pushy when it came to remove plates etc from the tables but it was ok. The food was absolutely delicious!!!! The price included the cake and we met with the vendor ad the cake was delicious also! The only thing I didn't like is that when we went to our rehearsal we were not allowed to stay after the rehearsal to finish decorating,. It might have taken us maybe like 15mins. My sweetheart table never got to say Mrs and Mrs, it was just an empty chalkboard but that's ok. I also had a table of kids and had a bunch of coloring books and crayons to keep them busy and they kinda kick them off the table, I just wished they had said somethign about that and I would have buy all of that coloring stuff, they are good kids so they were not rowdy throughout the reception, thank God!! Above all, Kings Mills is a beutiful place, the food in incredibly delicious, the service is awesome, Mr. King is a great person, he married us :) and Jessica is also great!! I recommend this wedding venue to anyone :)!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Kings Mills. They were helpful throughout the whole process and made the wedding day run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious! They have their own photobooth, and I liked it even better than the usual photobooth because it allowed you to watch the other funny pictures being taken, there was more space for more people, and we got to have all of the photos on a disc when the night was over. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful venue!

Kings Mills is a beautiful banquet facility. I would recommend any person planning to use this facility to be very careful about the contracts and to make sure that you double check with the office about prices. \rThe price listed for anything and everything does not include 6% tax and 18% gratuity. So whatever is quoted, you must add 24%. They will not tell you this until the end which makes them not very forthcoming and it could through your budget off. \rThe other thing to be watchful about is the rules and regulations that they have for other vendors. They do not tell you these rules and regulations and all the requirements for vendors until after you have put down the non-refundable deposit. They have a list of their recommended vendors and if you use them you get a better deal. Their recommended vendors are not necessarily the cheapest or best in the area. \rBefore we made the security deposit we spoke with one of the Kings' sons and he assured us of how they would be accommodate our plans so that it was special and personal. But as the planning continued we realized that they pretty much have a template of how things run for weddings at Kings Mills and they would steer us to do things their way. Basically if you attended one wedding here you had attended all weddings at this place. They use their template and run it their way. \rWe had about 5 children attending our wedding and we wanted to make sure that they were entertained so we got them the cutest personalized wedding coloring books, and personalized crayons to keep them busy; but we were told that they would give the kids the books on their way out, they were not allowed to color during the reception, which was very annoying since i had children running around to stay busy. \r\rIt was not all complaints, the wedding reception was very beautiful. There was so much good food. The service was amazing. The Kings Family was so accommodating of all the different cultural things we were doing, they even served extra hors d'oeuvres for a half hour as we took pictures outside. They were so pleasant. The food was just amazing and they even gave second helpings to the guests, and packed the food for them to take home. \rThe cake was a wedding gift to us from them and we got exactly what we needed. The room we were in was just beautiful and everything worked very well. \rWe also got our party favors from Kings Mills they have the 2 serve spumante champagne bottles with a personalized label on them that were such a good favor and everyone loved it. \rWe ordered our invitations through Kings Mills and got a 20% discount on them and we received them within a couple of days which worked great.\rI would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding however be very careful about the prices on things. They were very gracious actually to discount some of the things that i really wanted but were too expensive based on the turn of events with the 24% that i was not anticipating. \r\rOverall it was a beautiful wedding and we had no complains on the day off. What a great place. I would so recommend this place to people. I got married here a couple weeks ago and was so happy we chose here to have the reception. I am still hearing from my friends and family what a great time they had and how good the food and service were. I can't thank the King family and staff for making my day so great!!!

Kings Mills is a beautiful space, and being a family run business is something unique about this venue. With that being said make sure to do all of your homework before giving a non-refundable deposit: \r\r- They do not allow outside equipment (Photographer's tripods, lights, DJ Equipment) \r\rThis can really be a hassle if you have already picked a vendor as they will not budge on this due to insurance reasons. \r\rThe night of the event went without a hitch and they were very nice but I think its important to disclose all of the details before you are locked into a contract.

Kings Mills showed up as a dot on a google map while we were looking for a place to have our reception. We went to visit and fell in love with the great atmosphere. The Kings Mills meet all of our expectations and within our budget. \r\rFirst and foremost, Kings Mills has kind and informative staff. The facility is family owned and run and they pride themselves on this. They were generous with their time explaining details and helping us plan. When it came to selection and varying options there were many, so it helps to fit our budget and style. \r\rThe surrounding land is phenomenal any time of year for pictures with a large water fall and amazing stone work. The grounds are well taken care of. The banquet rooms are stone and wood, but not too rustic. I felt with the tables set up and linens with floral center pieces it was simple, yet elegant and suited our style.\r\rThe food was praised by so many at our wedding, especially the cocktail hour, which had a huge selection of hot and cold hour devours. One thing I would have liked was a formal taste testing, but they do not do it. That said our wedding day was full of delicious food all around! \r\rThe service from the staff was impeccable as far as their professionalism and effectiveness. They were kind and courteous and made sure we were taken care of as well as our guests. \r\rBonus gestures of kindness...\rDuring the night the the owner added a specialty beer for me, without a charge knowing I had mentioned adding it, but did not in the end. It was a thoughtful and generous action, which added something extra nice for my day! \r\rOne thing to know...\r\rThe Kings Mills has a policy that will not allow certain vendors back on site due previous issues with other brides and grooms. This protects you the bride and groom...For example, a DJ might not be permitted there any longer because they did something wrong to a bride/groom by not showing up to the wedding, leaving them without a DJ. \r\rThe Kings Mills has a preferred vendor list for many of the common vendors: florist, photographer, DJ, etc. We highly recommend the DJ (Main Street Entertainment, Joe) and the florist (Botanical Splash, Francie)\r\rIf you have a vendor you want that is not on the list, they will allow them to work at your wedding, but they have to sign a waiver, which is not a big deal.

I loved Kings Mills. It was an amazing place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. The King family is very helpful and they made my dad extra special. For a Bride who is looking for a reception venue where their groom will still feel manly this is the place. It has a rustic feel and it is not too foo-foo for men. Everyone at the wedding had an amazing time and I am so happy that we chose Kings Mills.

I loved Kings Mills. It was an amazing place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. The King family is very helpful and they made my dad extra special. For a Bride who is looking for a reception venue where their groom will still feel manly this is the place. It has a rustic feel and it is not too foo-foo for men. Everyone at the wedding had an amazing time and I am so happy that we chose Kings Mills.

Every one of the King's staff members were helpful from beginning to end. They answered my questions with smiles and never made me feel like a bother. The grounds were beautiful and they delivered EVERYTHING they promised on. I would absolutely have my wedding there again if I could. My only complaint is that I was unaware the $1000 deposit did not go toward our total bill, so when the time came to pay up we were $1000 short on our budget. Of course, we received this deposit back in full after the ceremony, but I would have preferred if someone made it a little bit clearer so we could have budgeted better.

The Kings Mills is a beautiful, rustic venue. My husband and I loved the place for our winter wedding reception. The food was delicious and all of our guests simply raved about the cocktail hour and chocolate fountain for dessert! The Kings Mills were accomodating to our needs and worked with us to create the perfect wedding reception at a reasonable cost.

I loved having my wedding at Kings Mills. Best part is that they have everything there. You can get a photographer, videographer, invitations, unity candles, etc all right there! It was a perfect experience. The outside ceremony was perfect and so was the reception. Love the stone look of the whole place!

Our November 2007 wedding was the best night of my life. I would not have changed a thing! The ballrooms and grounds at Kings Mills are absolutely amazing, the staff was accomodating and the food was awesome! \rMany people say that the Miller family run a tight ship; requiring vendor liab. insurance and they have specific vendors that they will not allow due to past experiences. They do these things to protect the bride and groom and make it the best possible experience. \rI used one of their awesome recommended DJ's, Joe from Main Street Entertainment. After meeting us one time, he knew what we wanted and kept the guests on the dance floor into the wee hours! \rYou can't go wrong with Kings Mills!!
