Our wedding at Knob Hill Barn was a dream come true. Lis went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. She helped us with wedding planning and answered countless questions and gave great advice leading up to and on the big day, as well as at our rehearsal dinner. She and her team did ALL of the set up and tear down for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception AND all of the floral. The full service at Knob Hill Barn took so much planning and stress off our shoulders and helped us get to relax and fully enjoy our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. In addition to the incredible service, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The countryside setting is so dreamy and romantic, and everyone loved the horses and the charm of the vintage barn. We could not have found a more perfect place for our wedding that felt so âusâ. The day was truly a fairytale. Thank you Lis and team, you were incredible!

This venue is absolutely stunning. We got married at Knob Hill back in May and couldnt have asked for the day to go any better. Elisabeth was such a huge help with everything that we needed. If you are venue shopping for your big day for a barn type, look no further. We looked at so many venues and I fell in love with this one as soon as we walked in. Elisabeth and the Knob Hill Barn team have done an amazing job with this place.

Elisabeth made our entire wedding and reception so stress-free. The venue is perfect and beautiful in every way. We planned out a sunset wedding hoping the horses would come up to the doors and they came up on their own allowing for some amazing photography. The bridal and grooms suites were so comfortable and roomy. Top notch!

I fell in love with Knob Hill Barn during my extensive search of venues for our wedding day. The photos online of the barn and horses are what really drew me in. While reading a little more about Lis on her website I discovered her favorite flowers are peonies, as are mine, and I knew I needed her to do my florals as well. Lis was very kind and personable when I met with her to discuss details of the wedding day. She offered so much support and really listened to what I wanted/needed. I mentioned that I had ordered materials for floating candles and was disappointed the order had been canceled last minute without any communication from the company. Lis surprised me on my wedding day with floating candles! Her florals were stunning and I received so many compliments. The weather didnât cooperate on our wedding day so very last minute (on my part) I requested to have our ceremony in the barn and she made it happen. Lis is such a kindhearted and interesting person who I enjoyed getting to know during the few chats we had. I would recommend her venue and any if not all services she offers (especially florals!). 10/10 recommend Knob Hill Barn!

10/10. This place is absolutely gorgeous and for such a good price. Itâs the prime example of rustic elegance. I didnât even buy any dĂ©cor for my wedding because the place is already beautiful enough. The chandeliers, lights, etc. of the place add to the elegance of it. I believe Elisabeth offers different wedding packages, but like I said earlier, the price was another big factor as to why we chose this place. Such a good price for everything that was included. Probably my favorite part of this venue is the bar located inside the barn and the bridal suite/groomâs dressing room. HOLY GORGEOUS! Pictures on the website donât even do it justice for just how beautiful it is. The bridal suite was perfect for the 7 of us to get ready in. There are ring lights, mirrors, private bathroom with shower, Bluetooth speaker, I mean any amenity you could need was there in the bridal suite. It is about an hour out of Kansas City which was perfect for us as we had friends and family coming in from every which direction.

Knob Hill Barn was the perfect venue for my wedding. It truly is a beautiful and well maintained property that fulfilled my vision of a country/barn wedding at an affordable price. If you want the perfect backdrop for wedding photos this is the place for you, as there are so many to choose from on the property. Elisabeth was super helpful in making suggestions for caterers, hair and make-up, as well as photographers. She recommended our officiant who was the perfect fit for our wedding. On our wedding day, Elisabeth saved the day. My husband woke up with a backache and could hardly stand. She recommended a chiropractor who was open on Saturdays and he was able to straighten my husband out so he was not in pain for our special day! Knob Hill Barn is truly magical. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely the best venue I could ask for. Theyâre affordable (much more affordable than some of the other venues Iâve seen), so thatâs a big plus but I really want to hit on the biggest point. Elisabeth really was amazing, there was a few minor hiccups but she really apologized and made things right and went above and beyond to help us out. She honestly made the whole thing absolutely beautiful and wonderful! Her florals were absolutely wonderful as well, I mean whatâs better for floral than your own venue?? They know the place and aesthetics probably much better than anyone else! OH!!! AND THE HORSES!! They were a major hit at my wedding, which was suuuuper small, so I HIGHLY recommend spending a little extra so your guests get to see their magnificent horses! Thank you so much! It was amazing.

Elizabeth and her crew were amazing with all the little details and just making everything perfect. Elizabeth made our flower arrangements, which were absolutely breathtaking! The weather was less then desired but we still had a wonderful time and the day was one we will never forget. I would absolutely recommend Knob Hill venue for your special occasions!

The facilities are lovely, and the grounds are beautiful, but the best part is the feeling of serenity and love that overwhelms the instant you set foot inside the barn. Our wedding was everything I have ever dreamed of. Elizabeth and her team set up for the wedding and took everything down. She truly cares about your wedding and takes everything into consideration. Our daughter's wedding was this past Saturday. It was perfect ! The barn was beautiful, every detail was exactly the way we wanted. At dusk they opened the back doors upon request so the horses could come up. Elisabeth put together fresh flowers for the tables on short notice that coordinated with our other decor and were so pretty. The Bridal Suite & Groom's room were so nice, we spent the whole day there getting ready. From the lights in the trees to the white hanging drapery, we wouldn't change a thing. Elisabeth & her staff made the day stress free, organized, and full of wonderful memories !

We LOVED Knob Hill barn! What an amazing venue! We got married on a Saturday in November and the trees were absolutely beautiful! Elisabeth was super helpful with anything that we needed! The Knobhill Barn was more than we ever expected or dreamed. Lis was very sweet, accommodating, and helpful with ideas. We looked at several venues but when we stepped into the barn and saw Lis, we immediately knew that she had class and we would have an amazing experience!! Lis is easy to relate to and listened to what our dream wedding was. She perfected it and made it better than we even thought. The barn is beautiful!!! You literally can't take a bad picture anywhere!!! The horses were a beautiful touch, too. Lis is calming and had a solution for every worry we had. She knew amazing vendors as well, everything from the flower guy, to food and makeup. It made planning easy!! Brides don't need any added stress so that is why we HIGHLY recommend the Knobhill Barn for your wedding!!!!!!!!!

Recently in my 2 friends wedding here and canât say enough great things. The venue was beautifully decorated. The guesthouse we got ready in was also beautifully decorated and very spacious. The outdoor scenery and horses were breathtaking. There was honestly a photo-op at every turn. Lis took care of every detail. The whole day was perfect and flowed effortlessly. I recommend Lis highly to take care of your wedding plans/venue

The most beautiful setting! I just attended a friend's ceremony and you'd be missing out if you didn't book this venue. They had both the ceremony and reception in the Knob Hill Barn, and it accommodated both exceptionally well. The scenery outdoors is picturesque, but the inside is gorgeous as well so you have plenty of locations to choose for pictures. The nearby \"ready room\" is upscale and spacious for all your bridesmaids and separate area for groomsmen as well. Bonus is the floor is polished concrete so you don't have to rent an additional dance floor, even the wallflowers can get their groove on off to the side!

Recently had our wedding at Knob Hill Barn. I really can't say enough good things about this place and the people there. The venue is absolutely stunning. Everything is so beautifully decorated and well done that there isn't much additional decorating that needed to be done. We utilized the bridal suite for everyone to get ready before the wedding. It is furnished with beautiful furniture that is perfect for the pictures the photographer took of us all getting ready. My wedding party was fairly big. I had 6 bridesmaids and also a friend and my mother in the suite and everyone had a place and there was plenty of room and mirror space for everyone to get ready comfortably. The barn itself looked amazing. There are so many special touches that make it memorable and our guests loved everything from the chandeliers to the horses you could see from the windows. They also lit a fire at the fire pit outside the barn for people to enjoy. As lovely as the venue is, Lis was even more amazing. She was so super helpful and her experience and insight to so many things during our planning process was invaluable. She was always easily accessible and answered any questions promptly and thoroughly. She was very detail oriented and took care of so many things for us. Our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her and her staff. I gave her a simple idea of what I envisioned things looking like and she delivered beyond my expectations!!!! This is the place to go for wedding services or other events!!!!

Lis was absolutely amazing to work with from the start. The venue was even more beautiful then when I first toured it. The price was lower then it's competitors (which helped cut costs for budget), Lis helped us out with many different things to include getting us in contact with florists, officiant, bartenders, etc... She made the whole process much smoother. And the day of, Lis and Austin were there for everything we needed and to keep us calm and focused on the big day so we weren't distracted by the little things. I absolutely would recommend them for any event you may be planning.

My husband and I booked with Lis before the bridal barn was even built. Her vision for the venue matched perfectly with what I wanted for our wedding day. The event space is beautiful and needed very little decorating because it's naturally gorgeous. Our guests all commented on the unique features in the space. We had 250 guests which fit incredibly well in the barn without it feeling overcrowded. The bridal suite was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready. We loved looking out the window and seeing the horses (who also made an appearance in our wedding photos). I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking in the central Missouri, greater Kansas City area.
