Knollcrest Wedding Venue & Chapel
Knollcrest is an event venue and chapel located on a beautiful area of the farm with 100 acres of rolling pasture, 65 acres of woods, and a 12-acre lake. Knollcrest includes a large reception area, a commercial kitchen, bride & groom rooms, and a large patio with fire pits and seating that overlooks the lake. The venue also has heating and air conditioning to allow year round scheduling for weddings and other special events. The open air chapel is connected to the reception area with a covered walkway and features a functional bell tower to send the bride & groom off in style. The sides are open to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings but can close by lowering vinyl shade curtains in inclement weather. Heating and air conditioning is also available when needed.

Having our wedding at Knowlan Family Farms was the best decision we ever made. Lara helped coordinate the best wedding weekend with us; from answering emails, touring us through the beautiful property and making sure we had everything we needed. We made the best memories and had the most beautiful space to celebrate in. At Knollcrest, you get the venue for the entire weekend which makes it easy to celebrate rehearsal the night before, the wedding, and pick up belongings the next day. It also gave us the opportunity to hire any wedding vendors we wanted and boy did we find the best! We are not from the area but chose Knollcrest because of its simple elegance, natural beauty, chapel, ambiance, flow from chapel to outdoor cocktail hour to reception, nearby things to-do and Drury Plaza Conference Center. We hope our wedding encourages one of our guests to have their wedding at Knollcrest in the future so that we get to travel back someday soon. It left quite the impression on us!

Knollcrest is a beautiful venue, which is part of the Knowlan Family Farm. There is a chapel and a large reception hall next to a lake in a breathtaking overall setting. They were extremely easy to work with and very clear in communicating resources and expectations. They do not provide wifi, so if you need that, plan ahead. We were very happy with how everything went and how much the beauty of the space added to the whole event.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Knollcrest. Lara was so easy to work with on establishing our date and getting all of our details sorted out. We loved having everything all in one place. Decorating was a breeze because it is already so beautiful without anything there. The bridal suite and groom's room were super helpful for getting ready and sharing special moments with our family and bridal party. I would recommend Knollcrest to anyone!!

We loved our choice to get married at Knollcrest in May 2021. The chapel and reception space are so well done that decorating was just icing on the cake. The scenery was stunning. Lara was very professional but easy to work with. She is very organized and made everything simple on our end. We received so many compliments on the location. We would recommend to Knollcrest 100%.

Knollcrest is a beautiful setting with a sweet chapel, old tower bell, and barn doors that open to a lake view. Connecting with a walkway is the reception hall with large windows, tall ceilings and great lighting. There’s a patio with fire-pits and benches, also overlooking the lake. This family-owned venue is run very professionally by good, salt-of-the earth people. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing wedding at Knollcrest. We loved working with Lara, she is very sweet and answered all of our questions quickly. We received so many compliments on our venue. The space is very well thought out, from the bridal suite to the outdoor patio. Highly recommend Knollcrest!!

Exceptional. Everything about this venue. Management is friendly and above-average about accommodating the entire wedding party. I also loved that I could choose my own vendors for alcohol and food. It saves so much money. The grounds are gorgeous and the chapel is quaint, but high end. With the reception hall, you have the ability to organize tables in a variety of ways. Tip - come in the barn door facing the chapel. It is so cool to see your guests standing on the balcony to greet you.

Lara was awesome to work with while my time being a bride planning my amazing day. She was more than willingly to meet with me anytime I wanted to come out to visit the venue to make sure I was able to plan everything out to a “T”. Knollcrest, in my opinion, is by far the most venue in Southeast Missouri. The farm is beautiful to drive through to get to the venue. There is many places to capture the best photos including the lake area. My bridal party got ready the day of at the venue using the bride and groom suites and had more than enough space for 12 girls! We we’re blessed and had a beautiful day and all of the guests took full advantage of the big patio area too. Knollcrest made my vision of my wedding day come true and I highly recommend this venue to every bride!

Lara Knowlan (Coordinator) My main job of being a mother to three keeps me on the move. I'm happily married to my outdoor loving husband. Before taking on the role of a wedding coordinator I was an educator for more than a decade of my life. I absolutely love being on the farm and meeting new people.
