No wedding day is ever completely perfect, but Knowlton helped us get it pretty close. It's a beautiful setting, from the old house to the ballroom and the grounds. The food was delicious. Rebecca took good care of us, and made sure we ate and drank, etc. One major plus for us was that the ballroom's acoustics are good but don't make music defeaningly loud like many other venues I've been to. The one issue we had was that our day was rainy. The indoor ceremony space is pretty, but small for the crowd we had, which was within the capacity limits of the ballroom. It also has no air conditioning and therefore was very warm on our date in late summer. Otherwise, working with Knowlton from early planning through the wedding itself was easy and pleasant, and our guests told us they had a good time!

10/10! We had a fabulous evening on 8/25/23 for our Friday Formal wedding! The venue was stunning, delicious food, and all of our guests had a wonderful time! Highly recommend. Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The outdoor ceremony space is so beautiful with their own florals/landscaping. We can't wait to get all our professional photos back from the space.

We just celebrated my daughter's wedding on Friday, September 1st. I cannot express how happy we were with The Knowlton Mansion. We received so many compliments from guests on the food and the setting. We were very lucky that the weather was beautiful, which enabled everyone to take advantage of the indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff was fabulous! Our day of coordinator, Rebecca made the entire day run smoothly. Do not miss out on this venue....they do not disappoint!

Knowlton was the best choice we could have made for our wedding day - hands down! As a venue, it offers everything: a gorgeous historical setting, two beautiful ceremony spaces, excellent food & drinks, an amazing ballroom, and a team that will really go above and beyond to make your day a dream-turned-reality. For couples who are in the process of finding a wedding venue in the Philly area - you MUST visit Knowlton!We only have great things to say about our experience with Knowlton. Our journey started in 2019 - we were looking for a venue that would host both our wedding ceremony and reception with an outdoor option, and Knowlton was it. Since it's also owned by a catering company, the food is outstanding. To top it off, Knowlton offered the best rates and flexibility as to our event hours. We don't live locally and felt confident enough to book Knowlton without even visiting first!Over the past three years, we navigated two postponements due to the pandemic. Each time, the Knowlton team was incredibly understanding and willing to move our date. At a time when vendors were having a hard time themselves, the team's graciousness and generosity quite literally kept our wedding dream alive.When our day arrived, it was even better than we envisioned. Chris, the day-of coordinator, and her team did a perfect job. Our ceremony and reception, including a delicious sit-down dinner, went without a hitch. There were so many moments of kindness and support - as the bride and groom we felt taken care of the entire time. Our guests raved about our wedding, our venue, and the catering, and we have Knowlton to thank for that. All the praise to the Knowlton team!

I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The staff was AMAZING. Dani and Rebecca made sure the day went smooth and I had everything I needed. They were just rhe loveliest. Everyone raved about the food. The venue was gorgeous. Pricing was pretty good relative to other venues. The grounds are GORGEOUS in the spring/summer. I have zero complaints about the venue.

Knowlton Mansion is a beautiful setting for a wedding, especially in the winter. Our photographer was having so much fun capturing all of the unique features both inside and out. The staff here is incredible. They were so helpful every step of the way, and very easy to get in touch with during the planning process. And the day of the wedding, everyone was so on top of things. From keeping us on schedule, to making sure everyone had what they needed, we felt like we were in great hands. The private tasting was a very helpful option that not every venue offers. The food here is second to none, a month later and our family and friends are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. Anyone who books Knowlton Mansion will not be disappointed, I highly recommend checking it out in person.

We absolutely LOVED Knowlton! Everything about this venue is exactly what we wanted! Outside/inside ceremony options, bar with different options for liquor, big dance floor, AMAZING staff, great food options, and most importantly fair pricing! Knowlton really does do it all and they break everything down for you in such an organized way. Our day of coordinator was amazing and was so attentive and helpful. The second we left our tour, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. All of our guests LOVED the venue and all it had to offer! Such an amazing experience all around!

From start to finish, the staff at Knowlton was top notch. Food was AMAZING! You absolutely cannot beat a beautiful venue that includes outstanding catering AND cake! We had absolutely no stress whatsoever with this venue because they worked tirelessly to ensure our day was perfect. The staff is on point with set up and take down - we worried about nothing. I have to shout out Eileen - thank you for your tips with the planning process. And Dani, I swear she followed me during the day making sure my glass was full & dress was fluffed, and most importantly a smile was on my face. I cannot recommend Knowlton enough - best day of my life & the most beautiful venue I could’ve asked for. Thank you for being apart of our love story & I hope (PRAY! Lol) I get to attend another event here — it’s the best of the best!

Knowlton Mansion and all the Conroy Catering staff was absolutely amazing for my wedding in March 2022! Everything turned out beautiful and better than I could have imagined. We were able to customize our menu and add/take away things from the package. Our guests adored the food, loved the desserts/cake, and our whiskey tasting in the wine cellar was the hit of the night, guests are still talking about it! Highly highly recommend Knowltin Mansion for an absolutely incredible wedding experience!

Knowlton Mansion has the best group of people to work with. Everyone was so easy to work with and their flexibility is amazing. The grounds are beautiful so little decoration is needed other than a few personal touches. The Bridal Suit upstairs is an amazing space to get ready in and made the day so much smoother. Can't say enough great things about this venue. I would recommend them again and again.

This was our DREAM day!!! Long story short, the Knowlton Mansion staff and venue completely saved our wedding! We were originally booked with another venue (one which got a tremendously bad rep locally during Covid....) and we changed everything and were re-booked at Knowlton less than 90 days before the big day! Not only was Cara and the booking staff extraordinarily helpful, they were also incredibly sympathetic for us and everything we had gone through with our original venue. They showed true compassion to us for once! Cara ensured all booking information was sent to us quickly, and we were there touring within 24 hours. As soon as we got there, I felt like this tremendous weight had been lifted off of my chest. The venue is absolutely stunning, and they were beyond accommodating with us! We were treated like we mattered and like our wedding day was important, which was the exact opposite of how we felt prior at the original venue.With so little time to go until our big day, the entire Knowlton team was incredible in assisting us to get everything organized, booked, and put together. We had a tasting so quickly so that we could FINALLY send out our invitations (which had been previously printed with the original venue, but not sent yet thank goodness). The food was BEYOND delicious! So much more upscale and exciting than the typical \"wedding food\" menu. They even helped create a custom deviled egg and a shrimp po boy slider for cocktail hour for us! The short rib was seriously to die for, both at the tasting and the wedding itself. So tender and flavorful! But seriously, you cannot go wrong with a single menu offering! Everything was phenomenal.In the last weeks leading up to the day, Eileen took the reins and she was just as amazing as the rest of the staff. I felt completely stress free when it came to anything venue related, and 10000% confident that we were in good hands. We absolutely were!The day of our wedding was perfection! We had gorgeous October weather, a team that took care of our every needs, and absolutely everything turned out exactly how I had hoped! Our guests raved about our menu options (I heard cocktail hour was incredible!), and everyone had time to eat and enjoy before dancing the night away in the gorgeous reception area. We also had the wine cellar service during cocktail hour, which was such a treat for us and our guests! This wedding day was 3 years coming because of the pandemic, so to have everything go so incredibly smoothly at a place that truly cared about us meant the world! I cannot speak highly enough about Cara, Eileen, and the entire staff over at Knowlton! I will forever recommend this gorgeous venue to any and every bride/groom to be!

We could not have chose a better venue! The venue itself is unique and beautiful, but the most special part is the staff. The staff was so helpful and helped act as my wedding planner and day of coordinator since I was planning it all on my own. They were so accommodating with last minute changes and weather (it was 95 degrees in May, and they helped us to still have an outdoor ceremony). The food was also so delicious and all the guests could not stop talking about it! 10 out of 10 would do my wedding here again!

Having our wedding at Knowlton Mansion was the best decision we ever made. The staff who run this venue are nothing short of amazing. From he beginning we felt taken care of and heard. They worked with us through our budget and helped with all the fine details to make the day as amazing as we could. The day of manager Rebecca Flora was astonishing! She worked so hard to make everything absolutely perfect. My matradee for the day Danielle Heim was literally perfect and made sure I did not go hungry, which is hard as the bride! The bartenders and day of staff were just all around phenomenal. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and made it feel like we were in a fairy tale. With the addition of the carriage house, the rain had no dampening on our day and we were able to get married in their beautiful new addition. Thank you so much to the Knowlton for making our big day the best day of our lives!

I had always wanted a certain vibe for my wedding. I wanted to be a cozy and romantic place with an energy that was warm, fun and welcoming and thats exactly what I received with using Knowlton as my wedding venue. We chose Knowlton because it had charm and history and it was a place that meant something to my husband and I. We chose Knowlton before the Pandemic and with all the uncertainty in this world we were able to have our wedding this past November and it was everything we dreamed. The entire team there was helpful and helped us manage and kept us up to date throughout the entire two years we had our wedding planned. The food was incredible and the entire atmosphere of the venue was what we were looking for. The team even helped us out and worked with us when something we had requested got mixed up. If you're looking for a unique and romantic place to get married with wonderful service look no further!

We cannot rave about this venue enough! We had our wedding on 10/28/21 and had the best staff (Eileen, Cara, and Rebecca) helping us plan it all. From start to finish, Eileen and Cara were easy to communicate with via email and phone, which is a huge plus when rescheduling a wedding three times. On the day of the wedding, every staff member was attentive to our bridal party needs and helped set up our decor to take stress off our friends/family. Even the owner, Jack Conroy, checked in with us to make sure we got everything we needed for our big day. Every one of our guests loved the options for butlered hors d’oeuvres, entrees, and dessert bar! The food quality and taste was stellar and dare I say the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. The new tents outside are retrofitted with gorgeous chandeliers and heaters for your guests, and the fireplace/patio area was a huge hit for s’mores! If you’re looking for a venue in Philadelphia where everything is included in the package (esp for a large wedding like ours with 200+ people), you definitely need to choose Knowlton Mansion!

Choosing Knowlton Mansion for our wedding venue was hands down the best decision. Every single person we spoke to and worked with was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Each of our requests was met without hesitation, making our wedding day perfect.We booked our date so far in advance, and Knowlton/Conroy Catering made sure we weren't surprised by any increased prices or charges as time went on. When we looked at venues, something we knew we needed was some sort of replacement for the wedding cake typically included in venue packages (we have a baker in the family). Knowlton allowed us to switch out the cake for an espresso/cappuccino station (which was something my now husband wanted at the wedding very much). Knowlton/Conroy Catering also made sure that specific favorite beers were available for my father and my husband's father. Corresponding with Cara early on, and then Eileen as our event got closer, was so easy and stress free.We chose the Gold Stations package... and the food was BEYOND INCREDIBLE. My husband and I are both pescatarian, along with some of our family. We also have close friends that are celiac/gluten free. We not only had an abundance of different options for every dietary need, but every station was noted with what was gluten free.We also chose to have the wine cellar open, but wanted to have port wine instead. Knowlton/Conroy Catering had no qualms about bringing in lovely ports for our tasting!Chris and Dee were so fantastic to work with. Chris was quick to respond and available whenever I needed her leading up to our wedding day. Day of, every single thing was taken care of, beyond my wildest expectations. My husband and I were never without a cocktail or a plate. At the end of the night, as I tried to help clean up and load the cars, it was wonderful to be told to go spend the last little bit of time with our remaining guests. Even after our event, I was blown away... the following evening, as we began organizing our belongings from the wedding, we couldn't find my veil (which was made by my late grandmother and then aunt, constructed from my aunt's veil, and pieces from my grandmother's wedding gown and mother's wedding gown). In full panic, I began to believe it was accidentally thrown away or left behind. I texted Chris , knowing full well that she was probably mid-wedding for Knowlton's next bride, expecting to hear from her the next day. To my surprise, she responded right away saying she would start looking. (We did find it).All in all, there's truly not a bad thing to say about Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering!!

The Knowlton Mansion was an absolute dream to work with. We had to postpone our wedding to August 2021 and they were so accommodating, very responsive to all of our questions, and so nice during the whole process. The entire planning process was so easy with them. On the wedding day the staff was so attentive and made it a seamless affair. We legitimately didn't have to worry about anything on the wedding day. They even had a bridal attendant who found my husband and I multiple times while we were taking picture during the cocktail party and brought us water/appetizers/drinks. It was amazing. I cannot recommend this venue enough

We cannot say enough about how much we LOVE the Knowlton Mansion. Having our wedding reception here was the best decision we made!! Planning (and replanning) a wedding during covid was stressful, but Knowlton and Conroy Catering made it a breeze. They bent over backwards for us at every step of the way to make us feel special and to reschedule for a new date. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS. If you’re looking for a venue that will provide your photographer with countless unique photo ops, this is your place. Our photographer could not get enough! She kept saying how much she loved the venue and its uniqueness. The food is outstanding! There are so many options to choose from… (make sure to get the chicken and waffles app!) Due to covid, they added an additional tent outdoors, which actually made for a beautiful cocktail hour outside. Everybody, from the billing to the wedding planner, to the day-of-staff was top-notch. When we arrived for our reception, all of our decorations and tables were set up, just as we had imagined! It was the perfect day, and we would do it all over again.

The perfect day! We just had our wedding at Knowlton this past Friday and it was the best day ever. Over the last few months we had so many changes to the plan due to Covid and the city restrictions changing on a weekly basis but Cara and Eileen were on top of everything and kept my husband and myself up to date on what the plan was every step of the way. The day of was amazing. Dani was our day of person who was there to help with anything we needed whether it was a drink, grabbing us food, a quick pep talk about cutting the cake so we didn't ruin it lol. She was on top of it and so NICE. We have heard nothing but good reviews from our guests about to food, the venue itself, the size and space for a wedding during Covid. I really can't say enough about how much I recommend Knowlton to any couple getting married. If you want an amazing wedding and to work with an amazing staff then book Knowlton!!!

We had the best wedding at Knowlton Mansion. I can't say enough wonderful things about working with the owner and staff there. We were a fall 2020 wedding so we were very unsure what would happen to our original date and guest list. As we got closer to the date it became clear that a 200 person wedding wouldn't be possible or safe we were pretty upset. Knowlton stepped in with a number of different options that fell under city and CDC guidelines. They worked with us to make a lot of changes and we were able to have the micro-wedding of my dreams. Their new patio is awesome for an outdoor dance floor and the grounds are so beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. The food was incredible and our guests were obsessed with the venue and how original it is. The staff was so amazing with all the changes and really made sure the event was perfect for us. It was a perfect day!

Our wedding was originally scheduled during the COVID-19 shutdown and Conroy Catering got straight to work on creating a plan B for us. However, our \"plan B\" turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined for our first plan! Not only did they help make the wedding of our dreams come to fruition, they had so much care and understanding throughout the uncertain process, they were in contact with me every single day, and they helped make sure all of our guests were safe! I would highly recommend Lisa and her team. Anything can happen or go wrong while planning a wedding and this team will be ready to adapt and make sure it is more than perfect no matter what!

Have not had my wedding there yet as the pandemic has shifted our reception twice now. However I am happy to say that the rearranging and communication has been pleasant, fair and reasonable. I cannot wait for the day I can have my >200 person wedding there when things ‘normalize’ again. It’s such a beautiful, unique and intimate wedding venue. Their tasting was phenomenal. Eileen is great. Looking forward to it!

Growing up in the fox chase area I have always admired the Knowlton Mansion, and wondered what it would be like inside. Recently, my wedding rehearsal dinner was held there and it exceeded all of my expectation! From the absolutely delicious food, to the gorgeous, unique and historical atmosphere! The best part of the whole experience was the incredibly kind and helpful Staff. They made sure we had a night we would never forget!!! I highly recommend this Knowlton Mansion for any event!

Getting married is stressful enough, but add in a pandemic, stressful is an understatement but Conroy Catering's staff helped us through the process, rebooking us twice, reassuring me IN EVERY WAY that they were here to help. In the end we had the most amazing wedding EVER!! Since the day after the wedding, my phone has been blowing up telling me it was THE BEST FOOD they ever had at a wedding, how beautiful the mansion and grounds are and how wonderful the staff was. The tent they added was perfect to keep us and our family and friends was perfect so we could socially distance us from each other yet still be able to be all together to celebrate. They also had a sanitation captain that went around and cleaned surfaces throughout the party which made us feel so safe. And I have to get back to the food... OMG!!!! The butlered hors d'oeuves were soooo good! We picked the short ribs for our entree which was the best piece of meat I have ever had in my life and my husband is a crab cake aficionado and he said it was the best crab cake he ever had and as I said above, our guest all agreed- BEST FOOD EVER!!!! And I can't forget about the cake... WOW!!! We picked chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and lemon pound with lemon curd and it was fantastic along with the other dessests!!! I can't thank Conroy Catering and their staff for making my dream wedding come true and making it perfect in every way!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!

Words cannot describe how amazing my wedding was at the Knowlton Mansion! All of the staff were very helpful, and were quick to answer any of my hundreds of questions. My husband and I had a great event manager who coordinated our ceremony at Knowlton, as well as set up all of our decorations. We also had a wonderful bridal attendant. She made sure we tried all of the cocktail food and kept our drinks filled. Speaking of food, I still get compliments from family and friends about how delicious everything was. I will definitely be recommending The Knowlton Mansion to anyone looking to have a perfect wedding!

We had the pleasure of having our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at the Knowlton Mansion on the evening of 10/15/20. During these uncertain times, we didn’t know what to expect. Everything was exceptional. All current guidelines were followed, leaving us and our guests feeling very safe. The decor was very welcoming, with the tables neatly set with candles, greens and crisp white linens. Simple elegance . The glow of the fire pit was visible through the dining room windows enticing everyone to come outside for a visit. My husband and I knew we wanted to have our wedding here the moment we walked in the door. The building has so much history and it has stood the test of time. We were looking for a location close to home, which would look incredible everywhere in photos, and would also not break the bank. We really wanted to get married in a historic building, and this place had ticked all the boxes. All the food was delicious and we had heard so many compliments about the food and the building. Our favorites were the duck hors d'oeuvres, the chicken and waffles, and the bavarian cream filled chiffon cake. It felt so luxurious. The staff was always friendly and attentive. We also had a wine tasting in the cellar, which is a very romantic little spot that feels like being transported to Europe. It's incredibly charming and was a key part in our perfect day ever.

Pros: This is a gorgeous venue in need of very little decorations - it’s so beautiful it truly needs nothing extra. It includes food, alcohol, tables, and even some decorations which makes it worth the money as long as you focus on only getting what you want/need. They make it easy to fully customize your wedding to whatever you want so while it’s easy to agree to the platinum package and pay a ton more than needed, spend some time reviewing their options and asking to add things in to lower, cheaper packages to save money! Amazing food and they include a day of coordinator and bridal attendant. They have a unique and amazing wine cellar for wine tastings, and they also left the wine cellar open after the agreed hour so just my groom and I could go for a private tasting and take photos! I loved this venue and would definitely recommend it to others but would simply provide some FYI’s to make their experience a bit smoother than mine.Cons: They have numerous food tiers and options which is amazing but can get overwhelming and confusing. And while they have lots of information on the food, it’s hard to find information on planning topics such as dropping off and picking up decorations, or vendor guidelines, etc. Luckily they were great at responding quickly via email to address any questions. However, an example of how this complicated things is that I had to reach out to the venue myself 3-4 months prior to the wedding to try to set up an organizational meeting and tasting. When we showed up for the meeting, the woman we met with didn’t know why we were there and didn’t have all the paperwork together (apparently they normally reach out 2 months prior to the wedding which didn’t seem enough time to me since the info you discuss is needed for invitations). Lastly, the day of the wedding the weather shifted and my biggest complaint is that the event manager never spoke to me or the groom and simply started trying to move things inside which created a confused panic that truly affected my experience - for everything else she was diligent and prepared and willing to sprint the building to help find a missing piece for the ceremony but this large miscommunication was a big letdown and led to quite a bit of stress. I’d recommend a clear weather plan - even if it looks like you’re in the clear!

Absolutely breathtaking! My husband and I fell in love with Knowlton the moment we took our tour. We had previously seen 5 other venues, all of which were very \"modern\" feeling. We did not know what we were looking for until we found Knowlton! From the initial planning phase to the actual day of the wedding, the staff at Knowlton were simply amazing. Conroy Catering outdid themselves - the food was excellent. We opted to have the wine cellar open and guests were blown away by it! We had our ceremony on site, and actually did all of our professional pictures and \"first look pictures\" before the ceremony so that we did not have to miss our cocktail hour. The sites and aesthetics are out of this world. You do not even have to go crazy with decorations because the Mansion is already pre-decorated with time period authentic decorations. We kept our decorations very minimal and were happy that we did not over-do it. We lucked out with a beautiful 80 degree, sunny day at the end of August... couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests are still raving about the food, venue, and staff at Knowlton. We had the time of our lives and are hoping to get to experience another wedding as guests at Knowlton in the future!

There are not enough words to be able to describe how amazing and grateful my husband and I were to have been married at Knowlton Mansion. From the team who helped us plan to our staff on our wedding day, everything was perfect. There are plenty of people available prior to your event to help with organizing and answering any and all questions. They do their best to make it everything you want and more. They are very upfront about prices and what all of their packages include. Lauren Murray was fantastic leading up to our event. Likewise, the day of staff was great. Chris, our coordinator the day of, was on top of everything and everything went off without a single hiccup. It even rained on my wedding day and she made it her mission to get me outside for my ceremony like I wanted. Dani, the bridal assistant, is the sweetest! She helped me down the aisle, made sure I always had a drink in my hand, delivered me my food, and made my night the best time ever!!! Our cake/food was phenomenal and they accommodated for all of our vendors as well. I cannot recommend Knowlton Mansion/Conroy Catering enough!!!

I can not recommend the Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering enough! It is a unique venue that captures so many different features from the horses to the vintage mansion. We had a blast on our wedding day and everything went smoothly. The staff was responsive to my questions prior to our wedding day and helped make sure everything was perfect the day of. My husband and I were so excited to show our family and friends where we chose to have our special day! The venue included many different parts in their pricing and we felt we paid a fair amount for what we were given. It was almost like \"one-stop\" shopping. Knowlton Mansion was the most amazing venue for our wedding. We knew it the second we stepped on the grounds. It is so unique with so many special touches that made our day a true dream. The staff is so knowledgable and honest. They kept things in check throughout the entire process. We were so thankful to do the food tasting because we got to truly talk with the chef as he sat with us after the tasting to review things. Our guests are still raving about the food! The Knowlton Mansion could not have been a more PERFECT venue for our wedding. We first toured the venue during the winter and even then the grounds of this place were beautiful, but come summer when we just had our wedding, my god, it is breathtakingly beautiful. We had plenty of places to take pictures and guests loved to walk around and take their own gorgeous shots near the horses, or around the many gorgeous garden locations. Beyond the venue being beautiful on the outside, the inside itself sold us too. This was the only venue we toured which we were totally happy with the backup plan indoor option. The grand staircase and the atrium windows also made for a lovely ceremony setting, and at that point I knew this was the right location. I didn't worry from that point on if it rained or not.We had already heard amazing things about their food, but after our tasting, we knew we made the right choice. Their food is spectacular, their appetizers were the talk of the wedding. I wish I could eat the tuna 2-ways, the beef negamaki and the shrimp in chimichurri all the time. They were also very accommodating with the design of the cake and the flambé station made for a fun show at the dessert table. But the most credit needs to be given to the staff, and those who answered our many emails leading up to the day. Rebecca was so easy to work with and very responsive. Basically, every question I had she would answer with \"Yes, we can do that for you\". I have heard horror stories but those at the Knowlton Mansion made planning our wedding so much easier than expected and made our actual wedding day go SO smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with our special day and thank the many people at the Knowlton Mansion who made it that way. If you are on the fence about this venue, take a tour and you will be sold like we were!

If you are thinking about having your wedding here DO IT!! They go above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. They were quick to respond to any email that I sent their way about questions that popped up before the wedding and also available for me to stop by to look around to plan out my day. I also have celiac so cannot eat gluten and they were super accommodating making my meal gluten free as well as the cake! Most people saying something goes wrong at your wedding, but at Knowlton nothing went wrong. The food was delicious, the staff was so kind and courteous. My husband and I were taken care of the whole night. We continue to get so many compliments on how awesome our venue site was and how the food including the cake was amazing!! I truly could not be more thankful to the staff and all of the conroy catering team. They truly made all my wedding dreams come true.

We had the most magical wedding EVER at Knowlton Mansion on 3/30/2019. It was a dream come true! The entire staff were so genuine, welcoming, and accommodating. I am fortunate enough to live close to the venue, and would often stop by (weekly) to make payments- they always welcomed me to walk around to get inspiration, take photos, ask questions. Lori was also super responsive and helpful to emails during the planning process. We completely customized our menu and did stations instead of the typical seated dinner and it was a HUGE hit. Conroy Catering didn't bat an eye, and totally entertained by crazy ideas- and they exceeded my expecations! The passed hors d'oeuvres were to die for! Mini crabcakes, cheesesteak empanadas, beef negimaki: makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The salmon at our American station was melt-in-your-mouth good! We did a his, hers, and OURS signature cocktails- delicious, fresh, top shelf quality cocktails. Our Bridal Attendant Dee was so attentive- she kept the food and drinks flowing all night for me and my Groom. Eileen, our coordinator, was so helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive ( especially during my rehearsal stress!) We felt so comfortable in that space, we never wanted to leave. Last but certainly not least, the cake, cupcakes and cookies were unbelievably awesome. I consider myself to be a cupcake snob and honestly we were worried with them baking and frosting so many- would they be dry? bland? we hadn't tasted any of their baked goods and had no idea- They were AWESOME! their pastry chef could win any episode of cupcake wars with flying colors! Man! Our strawberry champagne cupcake hit it out of the park, with banana tres leche being a close second. Our beautiful sparkler exit capped off the night- a night we wish we could relive forever! Thanks Lori, Lauren, Eileen, Dee, the bartenders, and entire staff for helping to make our dream wedding a reality! Don't hesitate when booking your special day at Knowlton Mansion- it will be the best decision you make!

My husband and I got married at Knowlton Mansion this past October and it was absolutely wonderful!! From our very first tour to leaving after the reception we could not have been happier with our experience! The mansion and grounds are stunning! The staff throughout the entire process were so helpful. We were able to customize our package to include the exact bar choices, appetizers, stations, and entrees that we wanted. They also made our cake for us so we did not have to go to a separate bakery for a cake tasting. Our consultant, Lori, was prompt with responding to questions (of which I had many). She made planning so easy and stress-free! The food was amazing!! All of our guests made it a point to tell us how great the food was and how much they enjoyed it! They were also very accommodating of guests with food allergies. Our event manager and bridal attendant the day of were also wonderful! Our wedding went smoothly thanks to their professionalism and dedication to making sure everything was perfect! Thank you again for making our wedding the most amazing day of our lives!!

This venue and catering team is a dream come true. The planning part of our wedding and catering was with Lori and she made it so stress-free. She was attentive, thorough, and kind. We were able to fully customize our menu,alcohol and also pick out whatever type of cake we wanted. They day of the event our co-ordinator was Jeannie and she was absolutely great. She kept things running smoothly, and we felt in very capable hands. Dee was our bridal attendant and she was so so sweet and helped us every step of the way. I felt very supported on a very nerve wracking day. Such a great team. We also had our wedding around the holidays and their holiday decorations made it that much better.We knew as soon as I walked into this house, that we had to have the wedding there. They are so accommodating and understanding and literally answer ANY question that you have. When you walk into the ballroom, the atmosphere is just so beautiful it overwhelms you in a good way. I had my wedding 3 weeks ago and my guests are STILL raving about the reception. All of the staff were so attentive to me and my husband. Aside from its beauty, their food is outstanding. Knowlton made our dream wedding come true. They were so incredibly easy to work with. Always quick to respond throughout every stage of planning and treated us with nothing but respect. When it came to the days leading up to the wedding and day of, they were flawless. We dropped off all of our decor the day before, then they took care of the rest. I arrived on the day of our wedding to everything set up and in perfect order, just how we had always imagined it. Eileen ran the show the whole night and made sure everything was on time and everyone was exactly where they were meant to be. Dee was our attendant and was truly amazing-she was always available for us and actually made sure to pull us away when it was time to eat! The whole Knowlton staff was incredible, and the entire wedding was perfect. The food, the drinks, the space-couldn't have asked for a better venue.

We had our wedding here a little over a week ago and we were so blessed by the whole Knowlton Crew. Many of them have been working there for years and you can see that they really work together as a family and have this wedding thing down to a tee. From the beginning, everyone was so responsive to our questions and we got an email or a phone call back within a day. Thank you Lauren, Lori and Eileen for always getting back to us quickly!Jeanne was our wedding day coordinator and she helped get the day running smoothly the day of. We had planned to do an outdoor wedding, but due to the rain we had to transition inside. We hadn't practiced the indoor setting, but she got my bridal party where they needed to be and our bridal attendant helped navigate us through the venue. Danny was our attendant and was so kind! She kept us fed and kept me moving where I needed to be next. We just got back from our honeymoon and our guests have had countless comments about how delicious the food was and how romantic the whole venue was as well. It truly is a hidden treasure in Northeast Philly. The Knowlton/Conroy Catering team is so great and I couldn’t recommend them enough to take care of such a big day! Thanks for a wonderful evening!!!

The Knowlton Mansion is hands down one of the most elegant and romantic venues I have seen. Besides the beauty, the Knowlton Mansion has wonderful staff members to help plan an unforgettable event. I had a great experience planning my wedding here. The staff made it easy to plan while living in another state, they were easy to communicate with and listened to concerns. They answered questions as quickly and respectfully as possible. The Knowlton Mansion has a variety of packages that include various options on food and liquor. We selected the \"bronze\" package and have no regrets. Our night was a fairytale. My only recommendation to fellow brides getting married here is to communicate with your day of coordinator. I had the impression that my day of coordinator was someone else, just to find out on my rehearsal night that the person was someone else who I never spoke with prior to the rehearsal night. It was a simple miscommunication but could have been handled differently. Overall, the Knowlton Mansion is a must check out! If you are looking for a venue that literally includes everything from the chairs to the linens then this is your venue! The wine cellar is an added bonus! Simply gorgeous!

The Knowlton Mansion is absolutely beautiful. We had such an amazing wedding and even though it poured and we weren't able to use the outside for the ceremony, it was still absolutely stunning! The addition of the wine cellar was exceptional and everyone was impressed. However, I wish that it had been opened for longer than an hour during the night as I do not feel we got the full use out of it and only a few people were able to make it down there for the tasting, excluding my husband and myself.

Knowlton Mansion was an AMAZING place to have our wedding! I was looking for something a little different than the typical Philadelphia ballroom. I wanted the romantic feel, while still being close to the city for our guests. Lori was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Our families are from out of town so they hadn't seen the venues. We emailed Lori and she always allowed us to bring people in to see the space. She was prompt in answering emails and stayed on top of things. I knew the venue would be beautiful, especially set up with the flowers and decor for the wedding, but when we got there on the wedding day it exceeded my expectations. I had always heard that the bride and groom never eat and are super exhausted from running around and talking to everyone, not the case at Knowlton. I had an attendant whose main job was to feed me and bring me drinks...it was the best thing ever! She would ask me what I wanted to try while we were taking pictures and would hold a napkin under me while I ate it during a quick picture break, seriously, it was the most fun experience ever. They also made sure any food we wanted to try was on our table when we sat down and we had champagne waiting for us at our table. At the end of the night, they made sure to have a variety of desserts at our table as well to try. One thing we heard repeatedly from our guests was how amazing the food was. People are still telling us that our wedding had the best food of any wedding they had ever been too. We were lucky to get a beautiful summer day and the grounds were amazing. Our guests really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit. You should definitely pick Knowlton Mansion as your wedding venue. You will NOT be disappointed!!

We only looked at one venue when we got engaged, and that's because we were comparing every other place to Knowlton Mansion! It has everything we wanted and enough room for our planned 200+ guests. We loved the ballroom, which was our main reason for choosing Knowlton - it is not a generic room with tables and chairs. It has a beautiful wooden vaulted ceiling and an ornate concrete floor. We loved that even guests who didn't want to dance had plenty of nooks and crannies and even a stable to explore!We are still getting compliments on the wine cellar and the beautiful setup the staff did. Most of our decor was DIY since we didn't hire a florist, but our event coordinator Chris made sure our decor was arranged attractively. She was also courteous enough to meet with us the night before to go over details and the ceremony. It went flawlessly! Lori was another key part to our perfect day. She coordinated with us for almost 2 years, helping us pick a package and menu, arranging details and holding a small rehearsal for the key members of our bridal party. Our vendors had no issues working with Knowlton! One final person we need to recognize is Dee, our bridal attendant. She made sure we got to have one of each of our DELICIOUS hors d'oeuvres and kept our drinks full all night, with minimal effort from us! Our bartenders were also superb.We loved that the tables, chairs, linens, valet parking, coat check, bridal attendant, amazing food and drinks all came bundled nicely in a package, so we knew a total right from the day of booking. Other nice things we added on: string lights over the dance floor and opening the wine cellar were options for our package. Thanks to all the staff at Knowlton for crafting our perfect day!

It poured rain on our wedding day, but you would have never known. The high ceilings, uniqueness of the old house, wine cellar, covered area by the barn, etc. provided plenty of opportunities to wow your guests. We would highly recommend Knowlton for your wedding or next event!

The Knowlton Mansion made our wedding a spectacular, memorable day! The mansion has an urban, rustic feel- it has a Philadelphia address, yet the beautiful landscaping makes that very subtle. Everything was so tastefully decorated and laid out. There was plenty of room outside for the ceremony, throughout cocktail hour, and inside for the reception for our nearly 180 guests. There are seating areas outside as well as multiple rooms inside for guests to roam around and learn about the history of the mansion. The reception hall was spacious for dancing, but still kept everyone confined enough to hear all of the speeches and socialize with other tables. The staff was wonderful. Lori was our coordinator leading up to the big day. She handled our tastings, rehearsal times, and all of the general questions we threw at her throughout our 18-month engagement. We had a unique circumstance for our tasting, because I am a celiac patient and needed some gluten free options. By the end of the tasting, the chef had spoken to us personally about all of the ways he could alter his recipes, and he cooked everything but two things completely gluten free- that kind of customer service is rare to find. Eileen was our day-of coordinator who handled everything from the planning and execution of the ceremony to making sure everyone's namecards were placed at the correct table to laying out all of our favors, picture collages, and other decorations so beautifully. She also coordinated with our band, photographers, and florist to ensure everything was set up smoothly. Dee was my husband's and my bridal attendant, and made sure we had food and our favorite cocktail in hand at all times. The whole staff was so accommodating and cheerful, which relieved a lot of stress from us during the wedding planning process. We could not have asked for a better experience with the Knowlton Mansion staff and property!

This place is absolute perfection. Our wedding on 10/29/16 was truly the best day ever, and Knowlton Mansion and their staff executed everything without a hitch. Our guests are still raving about the venue and food, and they commented on how unique of a venue it is. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting and having s'mores (if weather permits), as they were both such a big hit!! Lori was superb in helping coordinate the planning process, and our day of staff (Chris and Dee) were great as well. Our wedding timeline got pushed back due to our ceremony running over time, and I didn't even know it! The venue just made the adjustments and handled everything accordingly without me even realizing there was anything to \"handle,\" to me the sign of true professionals. Knowlton Mansion is absolutely the place to book if you want a historical, rustic-chic venue with lots to offer, and excellent food. They are truly the best in the biz!

I decided to check out the Knowlton Mansion after a co-worker suggested it to me as she had already booked her reception there and I was in search of a venue. After our initial tour my husband and I were sold and booked the last date in June available. The place is BEAUTIFUL and provides such a unique atmosphere. The staff was on point. Lori was super responsive and helpful, as I emailed her a number of times leading up to the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better day-of coordinator then Jeannie! When my shuttle didn't show up at the hotel she called the company for me and helped re-arrange our schedule to allow for guests to arrive late. She was honestly a life-saver. Our guests raved about the food and the overall atmosphere. We are certainly hoping to get invited to a wedding at the Knowlton so we can experience it again!

The day we looked at Knowlton Mansion we had set up 5 other appointments in the Philadelphia area for possible venue locations. After seeing all of the places, there was no comparing any of them to Knowlton Mansion. We were looking for something different, that wasn't your typical ballroom with gaudy chandeliers and floral carpet. Knowlton Mansion is like no other venue. Your guests will have access to the entire grounds that day, from touring the house, to roaming the outside gardens, and even grabbing photos with their horses. I am so happy that I had my wedding here, all my guests are still talking about how amazing and different everything was from any other wedding they have been to. Lori was fantastic with replying to emails with any questions, and the entire staff the day of the wedding did their best to make our day so special.

Absolutely amazing! Everything went according to plan there were no hiccups or issues for our NYE wedding. The event manager was able to setup all of the decor where I wanted with no problem at all. Everyone was extremely accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing. Cocktail hour and entrees were hot and delicious. I couldn't say enough about the staff here. I am so happy I picked Knowlton for my wedding.

When my fiance and I were looking at venues, we knew we wanted something unique. We didn't want a place that screamed \"Banquet Hall.\" Knowlton was amazing from the moment we first asked to tour the place to the moment the shuttle picked up the last group of guests at the end of the night. Lori was so helpful and patient with us throughout the whole planning process, even when we had to add guests last minute just days before the wedding. On the day of, Jeannie was our event coordinator. She was so helpful in terms of setting everything up and making sure that everything ran smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing. They also provided us a separate bridal attendant. She made sure we got to eat during cocktail hour and during the reception. She also got us drinks throughout the night, which was so helpful. At the end of the night, the staff packed up our centerpieces for us, so we didn't have to worry about who was taking everything home at the end of the night. They didn't rush us out at the end of the night either. (I've been to some venues where they get a little stern with the guests if they're there 5 minutes after 11.) Knowlton Mansion's staff was so polite and gracious, and they were just so helpful the whole night. Service was excellent! \r\rThe food was amazing, everyone commented on how good everything tasted. Their selections were varied and also really different from a lot of the other venues we've been to (and we had to attend 7 weddings in 2015, so we've tasted a lot of wedding food by now! haha). It didn't taste like the same old reception-venue type of food, it tasted like we were at a 5-star restaurant. They were also really accommodating for our guests with special dietary needs. \r\rAnd now, on to the venue itself! The venue was breathtakingly gorgeous. Pictures really don't do it justice. They had it decorated for Christmas with trees, garland, and white lights all over the house. It made for lovely photograph opportunities. Knowlton had such a cozy vibe to it, like it belonged to our rich uncle who was just letting us use his mansion for our wedding reception. We did very little to provide decorations- the venue is so beautiful as is (plus, they already had their holiday decorations up), that it really didn't need anything else. This was really helpful, since I'm not very crafty. We didn't use any uplighting, and we found that we didn't really need it. The lighting in the reception area is already so warm, which gives everyone a \"candelight glow.\" (Super flattering for pictures!)\r\rThe prices were actually pretty comparable to some places in center city, if not cheaper. But we felt like we got more bang for our buck, since the venue itself is just so memorable and different than anything else we had seen. \r\rIn short, Knowlton Mansion provided the reception space of our dreams. It was flawless. We are so happy we went with them.

My sister just had er wedding here. It was beautiful. hands down the nicest wedding i will ever go to. We opened the wine cellar and it was a major hit. and the grounds were well kept, the staff on point and to food was amazing and served hot. They gave us a bridal party attendant who was amazing. handled everything that we needed at the drop of a hat. Highly highly recommend. And located in the city was shocked that we did not hear a single car/truck the entire night.

August 1, 2015, my husband and I got married at Knowlton Mansion. We could not be happier! The food was incredible (and we never even had a tasting) the cake turned out exactly as we discussed (which was all over email as I live out of state) and the entire vibe of the event was smooth, romantic, and incredibly fun! The staff at KM is second to NONE. They were happy, they were attentive, and though it's a job for them, we truly felt as though they were thrilled for us on our special day and worked their butts off to keep everything smooth and comfortable for us and our guests. We used the outdoor arbor area for the ceremony, and then had cocktails and the reception inside the ballroom. We had a large wedding, 180 people! Due to the size, we used the Bronze package, and I was wondering if our guests would be left feeling hungry or dissatisfied. BOY was I wrong in the best way! I can't speak highly enough about this venue, the quality and amazing portions of food, it's staff, and their ability to produce a flawless event. They keep in great contact with you throughout the process, and are willing to work with you on the details of your day. Even though I must admit I found them a little pricey, it is worth EVERY PENNY, you will not be disappointed! Special shout-outs to Lori, Dee, and Chris for the incredible day you helped us put on. We thank you 1000 times over!

My wedding day was a dream! From the beginning, the experienced staff at Knowlton made the stressful process of planning and helped create my dream day. Thankfully, having a beautiful sunny day, our ceremony occurred outside on the grounds of the venue. The food was excellent (believe my, I made sure to try it!, and the staff continued to make sure the \"program\" ran smoothly, coordinating with the DJ and photographers throughout the night. All in all, what a wonderful day. I would recommend Knowlton to anyone!

Thanks to the team at Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering my husband and I had the most amazing day we could have ever hoped for. The staff helped us ever step of the way and made everything for us effortless. The mansion was beautiful even with our rainy day and compared to similar venues we could not beat the price. There are too many good things to say about Knowlton from the atmosphere to the details in the space, but the most amazing part is what a great time everyone who went to our wedding had, but more importantly what a fantastic time my husband and I had. You simply can't do better.

My (now) husband and I had looked at dozens of venues before stumbling upon Knowlton Mansion through a message board discussing local venues, and it was the best thing that could have happened to us. After our initial visit, we knew immediately that this was the perfect venue.\rEveryone we encountered through Knowlton and Conroy Catering (who owns the venue) were extremely professional, helpful, and accommodating. Lori was our rep throughout the booking process up until the day of. She was readily available to answer any questions and was extremely knowledgeable of not only Knowlton weddings, but any wedding process. \rWe chose a December wedding, which meant that the mansion was decorated with wreaths, garlands, trees, and other holiday decor. It really added to the space and made it that much more special. All of our guests raved about the physical venue and how unique it was. The history of the venue and all of the details throughout the mansion really added an amazing character that you really can't get in a typical wedding hall-type venue.\rFrom the catering aspect, we chose the stations option, which was, in my opinion, the best option. Our guests loved having so many options to choose from for their meals and made the night go so much faster in terms of the flow of events. One suggestion: if they have an option for a macaroni and cheese bar during cocktail hour, this is a MUST. Our guests raved about it for days afterwards! Everyone absolutely loved the food options and were amazed at the attentiveness of the entire staff. We also chose a cupcake tier instead of the normal wedding cake, and it was a huge hit. Another suggestion: if they have the cake options for chocolate cake with baileys irish cream icing, it is another must! \rOn the day of the wedding, we had two staff members assigned to us, a maitre de and a coordinator. Our maitre de was Dee, and she did such a great job making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the day. She also was extremely helpful with my grandparents, making sure they were served their meals so they didn't have to get up from their table. It was much appreciated not only by us, but by my entire family. Our coordinator was Jeannie (sorry if that is misspelled!). She was so amazing and accommodating for anything we needed throughout the night. She made sure that everything was taken care of exactly how we planned it. She and Dee were amazing coordinating with our vendors and made our evening absolutely perfect!\rMy husband and I would 100% recommend Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering (and to be honest, any venue that Conroy Catering has) for any event that you may have!

From beginning to end the Knowlton mansion staff was incredibly helpful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the food is great! If you are looking for a venue that has some historical appeal in Philadelphia this place is it. Our families are getting so many compliments on what an amazing party/venue/dinner event we had. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose Knowlton! I would love to be a guest at a wedding at Knowlton so I have time to experience all the food. Especially the dessert! I loved my wedding cake and everyone thought it was delicious!

We had such a great experience with Knowlton. From the time we had our first meeting, through the day of our wedding, everything was perfect.The actual venue space is stunning--they set up candles everywhere, and are really flexible in how you set up the space. You don't need much decorating because the space is so beautiful on it's own. You have access to the whole building--so guests can explore the mansion and its grounds (they have horses and a gorgeous wine cellar too, which makes for some cool pictures) The venue also does the catering, and this was awesome. We were a bit high maintenance, too, because I have a gluten intolerance. They didn't even bat an eyelash when we asked for all the food to be gluten free---and it was amazing. A ton of guests told us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Overall, we were super happy we went with Knowlton.

The Knowlton Mansion is amazing! For starters, it is a beautiful venue. The grounds are gorgeous too which makes for great photos. The staff are courteous, friendly, and professional. They attended to my every need. They made sure myself and the bridal party all got hors d'oeuvres even though we were taking pictures during cocktail hour. The food was excellent - everyone raved about it! The cake was great too. There is not one bad word I can say about the Knowlton. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely choose the Knowlton Mansion!

Knowlton is one of those hidden gems in the city- I had lived in the northeast for years and didn't know it existed. It's beautiful and charming in a unique somewhat haunted house sort of way. I know that doesn't sound good, but you have to see the mansion to understand what I mean. The grounds are absolutely stunning, perfect for our outdoor April wedding. It was just perfect. Highly recommend.

We fell in love with the Knowlton Mansion and was the only venue we visited and booked immediately! They were wonderful in the planning process and were extremelyn accommodating with our requests. Lori Frankel, my coordinator, was awesome! She always answered my MANY emails quickly and was a great help. The food was UNBELIEVABLE! and the venue is gorgeous and unique. Our day-of coordinator, Alice, was a God-send! She made sure that everything ran smoothly at both the ceremony and reception. She made sure that we tasted each appetizer, our dinner, and I didn't even have to get one drink at the bar b/c she always made sure I had one! She was the one to even bustle my gown! By the end of the night, she personally took care of gathering all of our belongings and made sure we had our cake and other desserts to take home.

What can I say? The Knowlton was the absolute perfect venue for my wedding. Beyond what I expected. The ambience, the service, the food...there is nothing subpar about this place. The staff there is wonderful and accomodating. I must've emailed our one coordinator, Maria, 1,000 times and always got back a timely response, answering my (sometimes crazy bride) questions) :) The day of our wedding, we had Dan & Dee as our attendants & they were both equally amazing, wonderful people. I felt our wedding ran incredibly smooth because of everyone's hard work. The service was phenomenal & we still have guests talking about the food. Every single appetizer, entree, dessert was amazingly delicious. The prices are a little steep, but in my opinion with everything you get out having your wedding at the Knowlton, you leave there feeling like you got your money's worth & then some. Thank you again for everything, you helped us make our wedding everything we wanted!! I would recommend the Knowlton & any other Conroy Catering company to anyone venue shopping. Amazing! :)

We absolutely loved working with Conroy Catering to plan our wedding at the Knowlton Mansion. They were very professional and accomodating throughout the planning process. The mansion itself has so much character and absolutely beautiful grounds outside. We got rave reviews on the food choices and service from our guests. Everything was delicious!! The pastry cheif even made a sample of our cake for us to try out ahead of time and he custom made the entire thing to resemble a photo I had seen online. Absolutely the best service and georgous atmosphere at the mansion!!

The venue is beautiful and affordable. Exclusively catered by Conroy Catering with excellent service and food. Staff is very willing to work with you and not force you into their package deals. I am very happy with their performance. My only complaint would be that the mansion is old and has old plumbing and electric. The main banquet room bathrooms and facilities were very nice, but the bathrooms in the historic part of the mansion were backed-up and leaky, so they should probably just close them off to use.

Knowlton Mansion is the perfect combination of vintage charm and modern convenience. We had a beautiful wedding here with about 110 people. The upstairs rooms are lovely for dressing and photography. Although we ended up with a rainy day, I know we would have gotten lovely shots outside.\rThis venue works well if you have disabled guests. My 94-year-old aunt uses a wheelchair, and she had no difficulty getting in and enjoying the evening. \rConroy Catering owns this venue, so you won't be able to choose your caterer. Trust me: you do not need to worry about it. (I'll write a separate review under \"Caterer,\" but you will be very happy.) The only challenge here is that Conroy works on a team-based system, so you don't have one primary contact at the venue. I spoke with several different people in the months leading up to the wedding. All were professional and kind, but I would have felt calmer if I'd had one person help me from start to finish. \rAll in all, I loved the venue and would definitely do our wedding there all over again. Frankly, I'd like to do the wedding all over again just so I could eat another meal there!

My sister was married at this venue and they were so horrible to her. They changed her contact person monthly over a year long planning process and at the rehersal a new person entirely showed up who knew NOTHING of her plans. They did NOT let us rehearse inside even though rain was forecast and the Knowlton lady Eileen was soooooo bosy and rude to EVERYONE. \rThey made no effort at all to make the place ADA accessible even though she'd discussed access with them well in advance. \rAccess aside, they made classic venue errors: Forgot the seating plan, changed the contact person, didn't listen about allergy issues and ultimately were rude and unaccomodating. Also, though the outside space looks lovely it neighbors a busy road and the traffic noise is so distracting. Don't use these folks!

At first I wasn't positive I wanted to have my wedding at the venue. It wasn't what I had thought I would want for my wedding but it was more amazing than I had imagined. The service was wonderful and the staff was very helpful. They were attentive and answered any questions that my husband and I had. They went out of the way to work with us. It was forcasted that it might rain on our wedding day so they had a back up plan set up and in place by the time we came to the venue. The wedding was beautiful, the food (Go for the buffet) was FABULOUS and we had the best time! The only thing I did not really like was the rehearsal. They literally lined us up and walked down the aisle once and that was it. It would have been nice if we could have taken our time to rehearse the ceremony instead of feeling like we were being rushed out of rehearsal. Other than that, everyone & everything was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better location for my wedding.

We recently celebrated our wedding reception at Knowlton Mansion using Conroy Catering. Conroy Catering truly exceeded all of our expectations. Their staff was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. The food was nothing less than phenomenal, with the head chef personally following up with the bride and groom to make sure all was prepared to our liking. The cake was amazing and looked even better than the photo we provided the staff when requesting a cake style. Our attendant did a fantastic job of guiding the wedding party throughout the evening, making sure we were all where we needed to be throughout the night. She also did a great job of letting us know when the next course of the meal was served so we could excuse ourselves from conversations and return to our seats to enjoy our meal. We really can’t say enough great things about Conroy Catering. Their delicious food and superb service made our wedding reception perfect. Thank you to Conroy Catering and all of the staff members that made our special day everything we had hoped it would be!

Beautiful venue! Service was very good, but my only complaint is that we did not have an individual contact person up until the week before. We were expected to speak with \"anyone\" in the department. A few things fell through the cracks, like the lack of sugar flowers on my cake... would have been less stressful knowing that one person was responsible for my big day.
