Koenig Alumni Center at CU Boulder is a historic building and wedding venue boasting memorable views located in Boulder, CO. It is situated on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder. In the distance, individuals can take in the amazing sights of the Flatirons. Both alumni of the university and the wider community can utilize the space for events and special occasions. The Alumni Association at CU was established in 1882 and continues to provide resources for alumni spread all over the world. They also work to keep past students connected to life at the university. This is all within Boulder, a city bustling with activity not far from the Rocky Mountains. You and your loved ones can enjoy the many museums and galleries dotted throughout the area. After, you may find yourself strolling the boutiques for some retail therapy and immersing yourself in the multiple dining experiences. Couples can choose from a number of picturesque locales for hosting the celebrations of their “I dos.” When you book the venue you are granted access to the backyard along with the first floor. There is a dining room, living room, kitchen, and sunroom that can be utilized for events. Outside, guests can gather, dine, and dance in one of two tented areas or on the patio or gazebo. These manicured grounds serve as a romantic backdrop for weddings and thanks to the fencing, have a sense of privacy. You and your sweetheart can rent the venue any time of the year and the tents function in all seasons. Up to 200 people can be accommodated in the backyard while 50 can fit in the living room and another 30 in the dining room.

Mikaela grew up in Golden, CO and then spent many years in NYC and Chicago pursuing performing arts and hospitality. Now back to Colorado, Mikaela enjoys spending time with her husband, family, enjoying the beautiful scenery and playing with her rescue pup, Lola. She joined the CU Buff family recently and loves to show off the historic and beautiful venue at the Koenig Alumni Center. Mikaela excels in giving excellent customer service, connecting with couples and providing a beautiful place for people to celebrate!
