Facilities and Capacity: La Capella at Canterbury features numerous settings for private events. Among them are The Ballroom, Grand Dining Hall, and Outdoor Courtyard. There is also a newly renovated bridal suite and groom's suite available for your use. Each space comes equipped with a premium sound system and the ability to display media such as videos for your guests. Inside, the white walls allow couples to get creative with their wedding color scheme and decor. Outside, the manicured grounds help bolster the sense of elegance present throughout. This venue was originally built in 1914, which helps add a historic charm to the location. Up to 600 people can celebrate in merriment here, making it well suited for grand events. In addition, the venue can formally serve up to 180 guests for a more intimate occasion. The Canterbury Place was where I had my wedding dinner, but I also did flowers and the wedding cake through them. The food was great and good portions for our dinner and the cake was beautiful (although she didn't do quite what we discussed). Flowers were absolutely gorgeous. A little expensive, but once we saw them, completely worth the little extra money. I was blown away when I walked in. My situation was a little different with my parents and my husband's parents, but Elysha completely worked with us and was nothing but wonderful. I would highly highly recommend here.

Getting married at the Cantebury Place made wedding planning much easier. The wedding coordinator was a huge help throughout the process and on the night of our wedding. She helped us with decorations and music. Everything looked great! My fiance and I would recommend the Cantebury Place to anyone looking for a great place for a wedding and/or reception.

I really loved this place it was really good, I loved how they made an effort in getting all the things we wanted, they were patient and what I was thankful is that all that we needed they had it all!! Plus all packets include Elysha who is the wedding planner and who really does a good job! I was a happy bride.
