LaSure's Banquet Hall & Catering is a wedding venue located in Oshkosh, WI. Opened in 1974 by husband-and-wife team Shirley and Tom Heisler, this venue can provide couples with a beautiful wedding location along with a delicious meal. You and your loved one can say "I do" in LaSure's Ceremonial Garden. Featuring a lush green lawn, colorful year-round flowers, and two large fountains, this picturesque space can accommodate 200 guests and is perfect for romantic outdoor ceremonies. Afterward, celebrate your reception in the Banquet Hall, which boasts a full bar, AV equipment, and stylish, modern decor. This versatile space can hold 400 guests in total, but it can be divided into four smaller rooms to facilitate smaller gatherings. The property also features two conference rooms, a lobby, restrooms, and a catering kitchen. These additional spaces can be used as get-ready suites or for storage. As well as hosting ceremonies and receptions, LaSure's Banquet Hall & Catering can also be used for engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, and more. The dedicated team at LaSure's Banquet Hall & Catering will do everything possible to ensure your day is a success. Their event coordinators will work closely with you to bring your vision to life, helping with setup and cleanup, decor, and more. The venue will provide event essentials such as chairs, tables, linens, cloth napkins, flatware, glassware, and china. The in-house catering team will design a custom reception menu to suit your taste, featuring delicious dishes cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. Dinner can be served as a buffet, a plated meal, family-style, or as food stations, and hors d'oeuvres can also be provided if desired. They can even create a stunning custom wedding cake to match your wedding theme.

We had La Sures for our wedding and they did amazing!! The food was delicious, the staff kept everything running smoothly, and you can’t find a better price anywhere around. We had lots of compliments from our guest that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding too. We’re overall very impressed with them!

I used La Sure's for my wedding banquet, catering, and cake. The wedding date had to change due to the pandemic and the only wish I had is that they would have been more accommodating like all the other venues (ex; making pay different price for venue and a new deposit). The ladies in the office were always responsive to emails and questions we had. The food was wonderful and many of our guests complimented it. They were very organized getting the tables of people through the line quick. The bartenders the night of the wedding were super fun and they kept our guests feeling good. They also made sure to check in with us for our open tab as well as talking with us before opening another keg. The cake was AMAZING and they were very understanding of all the different flavors as well as needing gluten free options. Overall we had a fantastic experience using this company and I would do it all over again!

Bev's cake was excellent. The only downfall was that she doesn't deliver to Lambeau Field but it tasted so good, we did not want to pass it up. Therefore, we ended up with a couple of finger tips in the cake during transportation:(The cake was amazing and the cupcakes were too. The cupcakes were a surprise to the groom and they turned out great.**Side note, before choosing La Sure's we had been out cake tasting at all the \"BIG NAME\" bakeries in the Oshkosh/Appleton area. We had left those places feeling defeated and not happy with any of our choices. We happened to be driving by La Sure's Cafe around breakfast time and thought we would stop and ask for a brochure. Long story short, Bev pulled something out of the back she had (Not planning on us being there!). And it goes without saying that it was BY FAR the best thing we had tasted all day. This proved to us that her quality is always there and it doesn't matter what it is for, she treats all of her cakes/desserts with extreme detail! THANK YOU BEV for helping us celebrate our wonderful day!

We hired La Sure’s for our October wedding and the food wasWe hired La Sure's for our October wedding and the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful leading up to the event. However, there were some big errors made that they (the owner) did not want to correct or make good on. We paid for the food buffet along with China Buffet #1. When ordering the China Buffet #1 be aware that the water is served in a 5 gallon Igloo cooler. Yes, the type that you use during tailgates and football games. I informed them that this was a wedding and I didn't want a big plastic cooler. We ended up negotiating with them and for an extra amount per table the water would be placed on the table. We also ordered coffee and were told they could leave it at the venue until Monday (our wedding was on Sunday) so our guests could enjoy it through the evening. This did not happen. We served dinner around 6pm and by 7-7:30pm all of the leftover food, water, silverware and coffee were gone. The La Sure's staff and our food/drinks we paid for were nowhere to be found. We had a great deal of leftovers and even brought packaging to send some home with our guests and ourselves. We were unable to do this as it was taken away before we even had a chance. Everyone knows the bride and groom are so busy they don't really eat the night of, so I was so looking forward to nice food later that evening or even the next day!Our guests were asking for coffee & water the rest of the night (after 7:30pm) and I had nothing to tell them other then La Sure's left for the night and took everything with them. Incredibly disappointing as we were promised something completely different. Upon calling the owner the next day and asking for a partial refund for all of the food that was thrown away without our permission, he said no. He stated that is common practice to throw away the food after dinner is served and to not ask permission to do so. It was only an hour and a half after dinner was served! We had guests arrive late and had nothing to serve them. Even the utensils were gone for the dessert!As previously stated, we loved the food and the servers were great. However, we were greatly disappointed in the action taken by the owner and his \"this is how it is\" response when we were told something completely different by his staff and our venue who often interacts with them. When you spend thousands of dollars with a company you want to be able to trust them on their word and their service. Given all of this information I would be extremely careful when hiring them to do your next large event and be sure you stay on top of them the day of the event.

Fantastic and yummy comfort food. Very sweet staff. Our server was also lovely. Insanely good prices and they donate all extras to a shelter. We used them on 1/13/2018 for our wedding at the waters and could not love them more!

LaSure's was GREAT!! We are so happy we chose to book with them for our wedding! Talia was wonderful to work with--professional, nice, flexible, and quick to respond. They do on-site catering and the food was very good! We got many compliments from our guests. They made everything easy for us and made sure we were happy from the beginning. THANK YOU for making our wedding perfect for us :)

We live in Madison, WI, but got married at my husband's grandparents' farm in Omro, WI. We didn't have many options for catering due to the location of the wedding, so opted to go with La Sure's nearby in Oshkosh. From the pre-wedding meetings and tasting to the quality of service on our wedding day, I was so pleased with La Sure's and would definitely hire them again. We received many compliments from our guests on the dinner and the staff was independent and took care of business, so my day-of-coordinator hardly directed them at all! \rIf you are in the Fox Valley area and cannot afford (or want to waste money on) a $90 per plate reception, look into La Sure's. We paid somewhere around $2000 and had about 180 guests.

La Sure's was an amazing place to have a wedding. We had our wedding on a friday night and we could not ask for a better place and staff! Through out our whole planning they have been so helpful and flexable. Any changes that needed to be made they were willing to work with us about. Not only did we have out reception here they also catered. The food was to die for! They have food testing a few times a year and that is so helpful in us deciding what to have. We will recommend La Sure's hall to everyone we know!!!

La Sure's was great. They were professional, friendly, and willing to do whatever was necessary to make my day perfect. The hall was a great choice - it has a separate bar area for guests who want to get away from the music and a great dance area for those guests who love to dance! It also is private, so no other weddings to deal with on your wedding day and it also connects to the Hawthorn Inn, which was incredibly convenient for our guests.

Bob & Bev Heisler (Owner) La Sure's has been a family owned business since my parents started the bakery in 1972 out of their home. They branched out and started our Cafe and Bakery on Ripon Lane in Oshkosh, WI in 1974. My wife Bev and I got more detailed with the business around 1986. In 2002 we once again enlarged the business by adding the Banquet Hall space where we can hold up to 400 guests. In fall of 2016 we added an outdoor ceremony garden space to allow our customers the ease of having an all in one wedding day from ceremony to hotel. Currently both of our children are also working in the business as well.
