Can i give a 10/5??? La tourelle is amazing. The location, the food, fairly priced, but most importantly the people. I felt like the entire 1.5 year since I booked like I was the only wedding they cared about (which is obviously not true - they are just that good at making you feel so special). I knew the moment I talked to them that even if it didn't check everything off the list, that their responsiveness & professionalism would win here. Christina is honestly amazing and works tirelessly (get her some help!) and was basically as if we invested in a wedding planner. Our day was perfect, I felt like they went above & beyond and I really want to thank La Tourelle for all they did. Please book your wedding there!!

I will probably get teary eyed just writing this review, because everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and so much of that was because of La Tourelle. Scott & Cameron were so unbelievably helpful and attentive and just went above and beyond for us, but the lion's share of my praise goes to Christina, who honest to God is just a superhuman. She was the decision maker in the beginning, because so many venue's communication was terrible and that was a red flag for me. Christina was quick, thorough, and made me feel like she could handle anything. And BOY did she. Any wild idea I threw at her she was game for, and if it wasn't possible, she found an alternative. When my swags were too heavy for my arbor, she made it work. When I couldn't find wine barrels for my aisle, she found them AND handled the transport. If there were any hiccups on the day of, she never let me know. I'm sure she did more for me than I will ever know, and I'm so grateful to her. She is genuinely just such a wonderful person and I could heap praise on her endlessly.All of our rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The grounds were immaculate and so naturally beautiful we barely had to do anything. Everyone got to know our families during our stay and made us feel like they were as excited for our wedding as we were. And the FOOD, my God the food. I should've brought a tupperware to fill and hidden it in my room. My biggest regret is that I didn't eat enough of it.I'm so happy that we'll be able to return to La Tourelle for years to come and remember the happiest day of our lives. And I'm sure the whole staff will be as warm and welcoming as we remember.

My husband and I chose LaTourelle for our wedding venue. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! We have been in contact with Christina for two years prior to our wedding day and she delivered exactly what she promised. The ceremony and reception set-up and decorations were top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. We had a bonfire after party once the reception was over and everyone enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank Christina and the LaTourelle staff for making our wedding day so special.

I'm the bride whose father left a review below. We absolutely can't say enough good things about La Tourelle, so I wanted to add a few points. The La Tourelle staff are amazing. Scott and Christina both treated us like family and worked hard to make our special day perfect. It went without a hitch, and I have no doubt that it was due to the extreme care they put into everything. We had both a brunch reception and a barbecue dinner. All of the food was amazing! Guests raved about both meals and we all ate until we were stuffed. The selection of local beer and wine really helped it feel like a special Ithaca event. We had both events outside on the terrace, which is gorgeous, but it's worth a mention that the banquet room is recently redone and is absolutely beautiful!For anyone else making a weekend out of their wedding, there are hiking trails that run from La Tourelle's property to Buttermilk Falls state park. Our guests had a great time on the trails between our reception and the barbecue.We rented the Yellow Barn, which was a fantastic place to have small family gatherings and to get ready before the ceremony. It also has a fire pit outside where we were able to have our afterparty with lots of s'mores!We cannot recommend La Tourelle enough. Everything was wonderful. We can't wait to go back and visit!

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding experience! The staff and every single thing about La Tourelle exceeded our expectations. We had quite the wedding planning experience due to the pandemic. Had a large wedding planned for 2020 that we pushed off to the following year. When the NYS restrictions were still in place, we decided to cancel our large wedding in Buffalo and downsize to a small wedding on the Finger Lakes. We luckily stumbled upon La Tourelle on our hunt for a new venue only 2.5 months ago. We first met with Scott who showed us the venue and graciously got us lunch at Bistro (which was delicious!) and than was introduced to the amazing Christina, the event coordinator. Christina was a dream to work with! She made us feel so comfortable, always responded quickly and did so much to make our day perfect. We stayed in the Yellow Barn Suite which was the perfect place for all the ladies to get hair and makeup done and get ready for the wedding. Since everything was all on property, it made everything so relaxed and easy. Christina was a total rock star the day of the wedding! She was not only the coordinator but our DJ during the ceremony and our bartender for the evening! She did everything with such a calmess and always with a smile on her face. I cannot praise her enough! She is truly a gem!! The chef was amazing as well! we decided on a BBQ theme dinner and the food was out of this world! Our guests said we need to have a party here once a year so they could experience the food all over again! The ENTIRE staff at La Tourelle was extremely accomadating, professional, fun, sweet and made all of our stays such a lonely experience. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they deserve it!! We can't wait to plan another trip to this beautiful place!!

If you are looking for a venue, look no further than La Tourelle! The scene at La Tourelle was breathtaking; the newly renovated indoor banquet room and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception sites were equally stunning. Our guests mentioned this was the most beautiful wedding they have seen. There are so many unique opportunities for bridal photos on their property. The rooms were pricey but worth it. They were spacious, clean, exclusive, and magical. Planning a wedding from afar, during a pandemic was very challenging, but Christina made the process as smooth as possible. I was not able to see the venue until 4 days prior to my wedding, but Christina sent videos and pictures to help me feel secure with my choices. She responded quickly to my messages and was in constant communication with us. The team at La Tourelle was thrown many daily curveballs from the government due to Covid-19 restrictions and they were able to problem solve and execute similar options in a timely fashion. Christina went above and beyond her responsibilities and our expectations to ensure we had an exquisite wedding weekend experience. In addition to the reception, we had a smores after party and a bridal breakfast the following morning. Christina had the banquet room set up lovely for our guests’ breakfast arrival, but since it was a gorgeous day outside, guests requested to sit outside. She was very flexible and quickly accommodated the change. Besides choosing my husband, picking La Tourelle and their team was the best decision I have made. We hope to return next summer for our first anniversary and enjoy a couple’s massage in their spa.

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience. A hotel really shows you what they’re made of when you’re trying to plan (and modify) a wedding during a pandemic. The team at La Tourelle couldn’t have been more accommodating. We decided to push back our original wedding by a year but still wanted to do something small and intimate this year. They worked with us to make both parts of that seamless. For this year’s event we came up with new menus (which their chef executed to perfection), they allowed me to use the grounds for the actual ceremony, offered their sound system instead of needing a DJ and helped make sure all the little details were taken care of (e.g. did we still want linens? Chairs for the small ceremony? Flowers from the grounds for our centerpieces? Etc). They truly went the extra mile to make sure the modified small ceremony lived up to our expectations and it showed - we received compliments from every guest about how great the event was. I can’t wait to go back again for our (hopefully) traditional reception next year. You are in good hands with Scott, Christina, Cameron and the whole team at La Tourelle!!

I couldn't be happier with La Tourelle! We had our ceremony, reception and hotel block here. They made our wedding weekend so special! We live in Colorado so much of our wedding planning was done via phone and email, which could be nerve wracking. However, Eileen (the catering manager) made it easy. She was always available and made great recommendations. On the day of the wedding, she and the rest of the catering staff took such good care of us and our guests. The food was phenomenal. As for the accommodations, our room was spacious and had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the autumn leaves. All of our guests that stayed at La Tourelle had nothing but great things to say about their rooms and the staff. I highly recommend La Tourelle.

I couldn't be happier with La Tourelle! We had our ceremony, reception and hotel block here. They made our wedding weekend so special! We live in Colorado so much of our wedding planning was done via phone and email, which could be nerve wracking. However, Eileen (the catering manager) made it easy. She was always available and made great recommendations. On the day of the wedding, she and the rest of the catering staff took such good care of us and our guests. The food was phenomenal. As for the accommodations, our room was spacious and had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the autumn leaves. All of our guests that stayed at La Tourelle had nothing but great things to say about their rooms and the staff. I highly recommend La Tourelle.

We loved our destination wedding at La Tourelle, and so did our guests! Our ceremony was outdoors and could not have been more romantic. We loved the food (especially the desserts!). Eileen was a pleasure to work with, and was always accessible. The front desk staff was patient and accommodating (we had a lot of last minute room swaps). Special kudos to Cameron who was at our beck and call the entire weekend and who even helped us set up a bonfire afterparty on the hotel grounds! We will never forget this day and are grateful to the La Tourelle staff for making it so special.

Food cooked too early, per my bridal party, the chef was extremely rude to them and told them to get us into the reception room to eat before the meat got tough. That issue resulted in cutting our photography session short, and we were rushed to eat instead of greeting our guests. Got 3 bites of my dinner because when I returned to my seat from greeting some guests, it had been taken by staff, and they refused to let us have it later. We also paid extra $ for more dishes and paid for a buffet. The buffet was only out for 1 hour before being broken down, and most guests were unable to go back for seconds due to having 120+ guests needing to get through the line. Venue coordinator didn't contact us at all close to the wedding until we contacted her, and then she hurried us along because paperwork was due the week prior. Schedule we were told we absolutely had to provide was not even followed by the coordinator. We were told that we needed to provided cake boxes for left overs. Bakery provided boxes when they delivered, and venue staff disposed of our boxes. We had to call a friend who owns a bakery to ask for him to bring some to our wedding as he was a guest (embarrassing). Room charges were done incorrectly. We reserved rooms for two nights and it took 4 times of going back to the desk to deal with charging our cards, plus 20 mins to check out the morning after our wedding. 3 other people were dealing with the same issue at that time. I also attempted to contact the owner with my concerns twice. Never got a return call. We paid over $12,000 to this venue. We expected some issues, but not to this extent. Luckily we did a lot of DIY for our wedding, and our guests loved it. Guests did tell us that the food they were able to eat was very good. It's beautiful, but I wouldn't pay that money to them again until they fixed those issues. Staff besides the venue coordinator were kind, clean, and efficient.

We had to call a friend who owns a bakery to ask for him to bring some to our wedding as he was a guest (embarrassing). Room charges were done incorrectly. We reserved rooms for two nights and it took 4 times of going back to the desk to deal with charging our cards, plus 20 mins to check out the morning after our wedding. 3 other people were dealing with the same issue at that time. I also attempted to contact the owner with my concerns twice. Never got a return call. We paid over $12,000 to this venue. We expected some issues, but not to this extent. Luckily we did a lot of DIY for our wedding, and our guests loved it. Guests did tell us that the food they were able to eat was very good. It's beautiful, but I wouldn't pay that money to them again until they fixed those issues. Staff besides the venue coordinator were kind, clean, and efficient.

Wonderful venue! We used La Tourelle for a hotel block, our ceremony, reception, and after party. Our guests had nothing but compliments for the rooms, reception setup, and food. Eileen went out of her way to work with us for guests that had allergies or dietary restrictions. Everyone we worked with from the front desk to day-of setup was friendly, answered any questions we had, and made a point to ask if we needed anything. We used the yellow barn suite for our afterparty and could not have been happier. Our guests kept telling us how nice and fun the setup and details of the building were. Everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone La Tourelle!

This place was perfect! Outdoors is beautiful and the reception room is right there. They offer the bride and groom a complimentary room for the night as well. On top of that the food for the price was awesome and with Eileen as the room coordinator and cater it was like having a wedding coordinator almost. She helped with all the food specifications with vegan and a few gluten free diets. She went above and beyond to make the day less stressful for us. Thank you soooo much Eileen and La Tourelle for helping our day be perfect!
