La Tranquila Ranch, located in Tomball, TX, is a picturesque wedding venue. With spaces for indoor and outdoor celebrations, the team here welcomes all sorts of events, including elopements and vow renewals. The ranch is located 30 miles from Houston and offers an escape from your everyday life. Guests from out of town will appreciate all of the nearby hotels and the short 15-minute drive to Dan Jones International Airport. La Tranquila Ranch offers chic Mexican-style architecture as the backdrop for your special day. Mosaic tiles, exposed stone walls, and sparkling chandeliers add to the beauty of the space. A fairytale-worthy fountain offers tranquil background noise to your day's festivities, adding to the memorable venue. The ballroom at La Tranquila Ranch can accommodate up to 280 guests. The space is filled with sunlight that streams through the large windows. Once the darkness starts to fall, the ballroom is illuminated by intricate chandeliers. The ballroom has fresh, cream-colored walls that lend themselves to whatever color scheme you might have in mind. Ceremonies can be held outdoors in the shade of the trees for a picture-perfect start to the day. Custom wedding packages are available, so you can pick and choose the services you need to bring your dream wedding to life. If you've envisioned something more intimate, the team here can also design elopement packages. Some of the features of these plans can include catering, bartending, planning, design, and wedding rentals. There is also staff on hand to help your day run smoothly. This venue is Beautiful on it's own, and add your special touch, and it's that much More beautiful!! Debra Riley made our special day PERFECT. We can't thank her enough! Her communication with our DJ, Alex Charry, was Amazing! Wedding day brings so much stress, but Debra kept us updated and was very attentive every step of the way on our wedding night. Even when we made last minute changes or add ons, she delivered. When we had to reach out to the venue via email, Montse's response times were very quick and helpful. Thank you Ladies so much! We will definitely recommend this venue to family and friends.

I cannot praise LTR enough. I am so glad I chose this venue for my wedding. Everyone was very accommodating, extremely helpful and very professional! They made sure I had the wedding of my dreams. I had my wedding here and it was absolutely amazing! Debra the coordinator, as well as the other staff, were so so helpful and nice. I did not have one problem with my event nor the process. They always emailed my back in a timely manner ( usually the same day) and answered all my questions. You truly can make your wedding/ event vision come to life. I was able to decorate however I wanted and they always had great suggestions and recommendations. They know so many vendors if you’re having trouble finding your own. I would 100% recommend and would do it all over again.

The Venue is very nice, but better management is needed. We rented the venue for my Daughter's wedding and the day of the event we went to set up the decorations, we provided our own bar drinks we were not told to unload these in the back of the building my husband and family members were yelled at by the owner to unload the drinks from the back not the front door. We were told we would have our Coordinator Debra to help instead they provided me with two young girls who did not really help, my DJ had to take over to Coordinate our schedule. When Debra finally showed up most of the event was already done, We payed for a sit down dinner from one of the venue venders and were told they would be serving tea, water and lemonade this did not happen, the caterers did not provide adequate wait staff they seemed inexperienced waiting to be told what to do.my guests were served but they did not even go around and serve any drinks in the glasses not even a pitcher of water the glasses stayed empty. When confronted they said they did not have Tea, water or lemonade this was not in the contract so instead they were going to the bar taking bottle waters we provided to the guests and sodas not until my guests were almost done eating then they somehow got tea and were serving it after the fact. I was very disappointed this was not a sit down dinner experience. not worth it at all. Some of my family members have had events here in the past and we have several future events planned I will not recommend this venue to anyone again very disappointed!!

LTR was the first ever open house we attended in Jan 2022. From the moment we arrived at La Tranquila we were mesmerized, and that was just from the beautifully well lit outside. We made our way into the venue not knowing what to expect but excited. The friendliness and the attention of Debbie made us book them that very night. Anytime I had a question or concern Debbie was available. I also worked with Karem who is the nicest, most efficient person ever. I absolutely LOVED working with KAREM and DEBBIE. I enjoyed my wedding planning because of these ladies. Our wedding day was amazing because of these ladies. Debra Riley and Karem Lino the best team any bride can ask for. We chose La Tranquila as our venue for our wedding and reception and we are so glad we did. The team at La Tranquila were very accommodating and let us perform certain cultural ceremonies that other venues would not. We had added services such as valet, security officers, and bar tenders. Debra, the day of coordinator that comes with the venue, was fantastic! We didn't have to deal with anything during the wedding and reception because Debra and company were on top of everything and handled everything. We had so many worries of things going wrong leading up to the wedding as all couples do but we didn't have to deal with any of that the day of because Debra was on top of everything! The Wedding Coordinator Debra is amazing. She was beyond knowledgeable and catered to the brides needs. The facility did not turn the air on until the day of the wedding. The venue is to big for this. Especially if you have a larger group; we had over 150. I was hot and my daughters guest was hot. We requested the night before that the venue turn the air on the day before because there was a heat advisory! Wedding dates from May to September in Houston should not have to endure day of air issues so the facility can save money!

This venue was perfect, it was more affordable than other places and just as beautiful if not more beautiful than other venues we saw. They allowed us to be creative with DIY and also gave us options from decorations they had available. Ana was great with always answering our questions too! Debra the wedding coordinator was amazing. She helped us get organized and make our wedding schedule. She also went out of her way to offer decoration ideas or small details that she knew we would like. The day of the wedding was absolutely beautiful and fun. It's been 2 months now and people are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! Thank you LTR for giving us a beautiful memory!!!

My original wedding was supposed to be on the beach in Destin, Fl but once the pandemic hit, my husband and I decided to move our wedding closer to home (Houston TX). I found La Tranquila Ranch on Google and contacted them right away to book their venue. I spoke to Ana and she scheduled a visit for my husband and I to come and visit the venue. When we met her she was extremely helpful and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. After meeting her, I felt so relieved and knew we were in good hands! Leading up to my wedding, Ana kept in close contact with me monthly to make sure I had everything lined up for our wedding day. On our wedding day, Debra was our wedding coordinator, she made sure that everything was taken care of and that my day was perfect! I have no clue what I would have done without her, she was an absolute blessing! Thank you so much Debra and Ana for making my wedding day more than I could have dreamed! If you’re looking to book a wedding venue, I highly recommend La Tranquila Ranch!

My husband found this and honestly this is the best investment we made for our wedding. We met with Debra on our first visit and she gave us all the information we needed before showing us around. I fell in love with this venue and we were locked in. We were able to make appointments to see the venue again or text Debra or Anel anytime we had question and they did their very best getting back to us as soon as possible. Honestly speaking Debra worked with us from the beginning to the end. On our wedding day I felt so much peace because she was in control and was on top of things. We did not have to worry about anything because she got it under control. Debra made our day so special and went above and beyond for us. This venue is extremely beautiful. The people there are super awesome . They made our special day extremely special and stepped in when necessary. Debra was our coordinator also and made sure everything went perfectly. We could not be more grateful. Natalia took some special videos on her phone when I was praying with my husband and my first look with my brother and sent to me after the wedding, I know I will forever cherish those. she worked with Debra the day of our wedding and we are extremely grateful. Our wedding was everything we wanted thanks to these amazing people. We are so glad we went with La Tranquila Ranch. We had so much fun working with them. Thank you Anel. Thank you Natalia. La Tranquila Ranch made our wedding day very pleasant! Great staffing from the moment we tour the ballroom until our wedding day. Our event coordinator, Ms. Debra, was absolutely amazing and very proactive during our wedding day! She ensure we meet our itinerary on time and help gather people/things for the next hour event. La Tranquila Ranch made our wedding day very pleasant! Great staffing from the moment we tour the ballroom until our wedding day. Our event coordinator, Ms. Debra, was absolutely amazing and very proactive during our wedding day! She ensure we meet our itinerary on time and help gather people/things for the next hour event. Overall La Tranquila Ranch made our wedding day enjoyable for all our guest. Thank you, La Tranquila Ranch.

A contract is a contract but acting of good faith should still exist, apparently not at La Tranquila Ranch.I signed contract 12/6/2020 for a booking of 5/2/21 (mind you, this is on a Sunday, unpopular day)Reached out to cancel 1/9/2021 (literally 34 days of holding the venue)2 payments were given$500 on 12/6/20$500 (paid early ) on 12/26/20We recently found out my fiancé’s grandmother passed. Days later his uncle passed. On top of this his aunt is in the hospital - all due to Covid. We asked for just 1/2 ($500) back. Ana stated that she would try to sell the date for same price that she sold to me. If she can do that, she’ll refund $500 if not she cannot refund.Honestly, I don’t feel we were going to get anything back. That’s just nice talk in writing.My point is, if an emergency happens, don’t expect anything back.You know...if I had held the date for a while, I’d understand. But ONE month and during this time we had family members pass away. Get a heart please

It was so obvious that she truly cared about making your event absolutely perfect! Throughout the months of planning, I was constantly reminded exactly why we picked Debra to help plan our special day! She was always available and excited to speak with you and help you through every little step. Debra was present for the entire reception and made sure everything went smoothly. My husband and I got married here on sep 27th. Everyone was helpful, professional and even gave us great suggestions with our vendors because we didn't have any options in our plate. They really worked with our budget and made sure you we were getting everything we wanted. Deborah was our coordinator and she was phenomenal, she went beyond our expectations and helps us from finishing details on decorations, keeping the time to deliver the food and music and making sure we were eating that night. There's is nothing that I didn't love of that day and the attention of the details was impeccable. I can't never say thank you enough for taking all my stress out and making us enjoy our wedding day.

Our day of coordinator, Debra Riley was seriously amazing. I don’t know how we would have gotten through our day without her. She allowed us to relax while she dealt with the craziness! We had our wedding here in January and it was amazing! They were beyond helpful and friendly and did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect. Our day of coordinator worked so hard the weekend of the wedding! She even made sure my mother took time to be with me instead of last minute preparations. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Beautiful facilities. Wonderful food and great employees. They set up, clean up and have decorations for you. They use real glassware and not the plastic crap for your food and drinks. It was also the least expensive location I looked at! I would use them again in a heartbeat if I could.

Beautiful venue! We chose the perfect place to celebrate our special day. Cindy and Deborah were so nice, understanding, and accommodating. We chose the Villa, which is their smaller venue, and it was PERFECT, comfortable, and very affordable. We had to have the ceremony inside due to rain earlier in the week, but it was still amazing! If the weather permits, take advantage of having your ceremony under the beautiful oak tree. But know that if the Texas weather isn't on your side, you'll still be able to enjoy a beautiful wedding!

So my fiancé and I went to view the property this past Saturday at 11. I had to schedule for an early time due to our son having a baseball game. We weren’t exactly dressed to the nines but we didn’t look like bums either. We arrived 10 minutes early and there was no one there to greet us. When she finally did show up, she literally let us in the show room and said she would be back with the golf cart. She never introduced herself or asked our names. Once she showed up back up, we got on the golf cart, I figured that she would ask questions as far as what our vision was for the wedding. Nope didn’t ask any of those important questions. She showed us the ballroom which was gorgeous. But failed to show us the outdoor reception site or the two sites where the wedding ceremony would be held. Didn’t even show us picture sites either. We went back to the show room where she basically printed out a proposal with the highest amount for food, without asking what menu choice we wanted. And sent us on our way. This was by far the worst and most impersonal tour I have been on. The reason why we wanted to look at this venue is because I had a Co-worker who got married here and it was highly recommended. If this is how I can be treated just on a tour, I can only imagine how it would be on my wedding day. Beautiful for property, but they lost my business as soon as she showed no interest in what we wanted for our day.

The setting, proximity to our home (even if its not close its worth driving to) and customer service from Cindy and her staff were outstanding. We chose the ballroom to host our event and we were very glad we did. The space was stunning and the venue has established relationships with top notch professionals including the DJ, Alex Charry. The event coordinator Deb Riley and her husband were beyond phenomemal, even going to get extra ice and mixers that I forgot to supply for the bar service. No corkage fee meant I could supply my own liquor and control costs! All in all a memorable event and we'll see them again in about three years when our younger daughter has her Bat Mitzvah!

The whole day went smoothly because Cindy, Kevin, and Deborah worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect. They were all so flexible and responsive, so the whole process went well. The kids had a blast outside on the grounds and then inside on the dance floor, so they were all in good moods the whole night. Our guests enjoyed taking photos outside on the beautiful grounds, and so did we!! I highly recommend La Tranquila Ranch. Such a beautiful day!! <3

The whole day went smoothly because Cindy, Kevin, and Deborah worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect. They were all so flexible and responsive, so the whole process went well. The kids had a blast outside on the grounds and then inside on the dance floor, so they were all in good moods the whole night. Our guests enjoyed taking photos outside on the beautiful grounds, and so did we!! I highly recommend La Tranquila Ranch. Such a beautiful day!! <3

I read all the reviews on this place and did the research I could before booking their Villa for my wedding. Well the reviews I read must have been from a family member or employee because this place RUINED the most important day of my life. I hope my review will save someone from booking here and having that happen to them. What made me boom here was ultimately their massive oak tree in the back that was absolutely beautiful. But that in no way overshadows the mess that occurred on my wedding day. The grooms suite had no air conditioning on a day that it was in the 90's in Houston. Absolutely no way anyone could be up there without cooking in their tux. My poor husband in his tux was sweating to the point that his face was red and the whole grooms party had to come downstairs, forcing me to remain in the Bridal suite. Then the coordinator rushed us through everything--I paid for 5 hours and she crammed everything into less than 3. It was a small wedding but I felt that no one cared how important that day was to my husband and I. Then we are on the dance floor and the lights aren't even on! 2 of my bridesmaids had to figure out how to get it turned on! The the final straw was when not 1, not 2, but ALL the toilets stopped working. When my mom spoke with the owner she was told it was our fault because a guest turned off the water. seriously?! You ruined my entire day and want to blame it on a guest?! I'm in customer service and deal with people's homes daily and no one EVER is to blame for something of this magnitude. It simply comes down to crappy maintenance. Just look at the rest of the place--the carpet is in complete disrepair, the pool is green, and there was a piece of the flooring missing from the dance floor! I'm partially to blame for picking this place becauSe you get what you pay for. But when you're in the business of the most important day of someone's life and that memory you should take it more seriously. Not just say \"the most I can do it a 5 or 10% refund\". I'm appalled and will remember this day forever with a negative stigma attached.

Hard to get a hold off. I saw this venue on the knot website and immediately was attracted to its beauty. However, it took me almost a week to get a hold of someone to schedule a tour. Once I had a tour scheduled, I showed up to my appointment on time I may add. We followed one of the staff who was showing another couple the grounds into the office. He said hello to us and immediately went to helping the couple he was attending. My fiance and I decided to just sit down and wait. Another staff member came out but was helping another couple. Kevin and his staff were super helpful from day one. They where there to help guide me along the way and answer any questions I had. They worked with me within my budget and were up front about all cost. The venue was perfect and beautiful. They made sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day from beginning to end! Glad I choose them for my special day!!

We got married at the villa, one of the two different sites at this venue. We had an outdoor ceremony which was gorgeous, and the indoor reception was almost as beautiful. The food, which was included, was about average wedding food. The venue also allowed you to bring in your own alcohol which was important to us. It also provides a day-of coordinator who was quite helpful.

All of the staff provided a lot of suggestions as far as decorations and vendors. They were very organized and cared a lot about what the customer wants. Ana Rodriguez is the best and she responds to emails and calls right away. They hold two open houses each year, and they have a lot of great vendors in attendance that have very affordable prices. On the day of our wedding, they had one of the staff help out with decorations and receiving the cake and flowers. They also made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of during the reception as far as food and drinks. My husband and I were very satisfied with their service!

La Tranquila Ranch surpassed my expectations ten times over. Kevin and Ana ensured that my day went beautifully. They were so incredibly accommodating to all of my requests and went above and beyond. They put so many personal touches that I did not have time to focus on and made everything look spectacular. They were so polite and friendly and had no issues with me making changes two days before my wedding. They even through in items that there was usually a charge for at no cost to me to make my day as beautiful as possible. The way the venue photographs is amazing. The property is breathtaking and the ballroom and bridal suite are absolutely stunning. I know that my wedding photos will be more than I could hope for with the amazing aesthetics and scenery La Tranquila Ranch has to offer. The value of this venue is astonishing to me. It is truly high-end on a budget. We were so impressed with La Tranquila Ranch and everyone came up to us to tell us how beautiful and nice everything was. I cannot thank La Tranquila Ranch and Kevin and Ana enough for giving me one of the most amazing days of my life!

Amazing wedding venue! Extremely accommodating and flexible. Ana and Kevin were wonderful to work with. My wedding ceremony was outside in front of the Ballroom and my reception was inside the Ballroom - it was absolutely beautiful and I loved every minute of it! Our wedding was outside on November 23rd, 2013. Though it was cold, it was PERFECT! I told Kevin and Sophie in advance that if it rained, I wanted to get married in the rain, and luckily it let up right as the service was starting. Our wedding was delayed an hour due to my hair stylist arriving an hour and a half late to do my hair, but when we got there, everything had been taken care of and went very smooth. Kevin was great the entire reception, and our entire family LOVED the staff! Sophie made sure that my husband and I had drinks all night, and always checked with me before just announcing something. They made our day perfect! I will recommend people to use them for events for YEARS to come. What an amazing experience! Thank you guys so much for everything!

Seriously I can't even start to say enough good things about La Tranquila Ranch! I got married on a Sunday in November, and was cursed with horrible weather. I honestly was a little crushed. I had \"dreamed\" of having my wedding outside at the venue, but that wasn't an option anymore. The venue had told me they would have to do a \"flip\" using the reception hall for both the ceremony and reception. This was something I had been DREADING and the La Tranquila staff knew it. Working together we came up with a different plan. They let me use the other venue on the property for FREE for the Ceremony and WOW did they out do themselves!! It was PERFECT!! It was better then what I had pictured!! Throughout the entire day, the La Tranquila staff was there to help me with my every need, even when it involved a problem with a DIFFERENT vendor! The staff, setting, price, and personality of La Tranquila Ranch, really makes it the perfect spot to get married!

La Tranquila Ranch is where my reception took place. I used the ballroom and it was absolutely beautiful. Anel and Kevin are just so sweet. I asked to come by the day before my wedding to set up and they were completely okay with it. Kevin hung around and helped out a little and they were both so accommodating. The property was very clean and manicured. We used their caterer for the food and it was FANTASTIC. We had so many compliments on the food and the venue itself. Anel and Kevin were ALWAYS there when I had a question or if I was unsure about something. My phone calls were always returned very quickly if I left a message. I can't say enough great things about these two and La Tranquila Ranch. They allowed me to come to the ranch on several occasions to compare different colored linens on the tables because I was having a touch time deciding. These two are just great! Thank you SO MUCH.

The venue is so beautiful!! We got married on Nov. 3rd 2012. There we're several huge mistakes made that really kind of ruined my vision of the night and I really feel as if my parents should've got some of their money back.\r\r1. I had table signs made to reserve the table for our bridal party and ourselves- 2 signs for the table as it was large- Well instead of following the sketch she had made while in one of our meetings Sandra had not only our tabe reserved but she put a sign on the table next to us as reserved so there was an entire empty table by us. People were standing because they had nowhere to sit until we arrived after pictures and i took the sign off..\r\r2. Sandra- Had the DJ announce the champagne toast and we start looking around and literally not one person had any.. He had to announce that we'd be cutting the cake first in order to give their bartenders time to actually pour it and pass it out. She literally stood around all night in the corner doing nothing. So disorganized. \r\r3. I decided to go with the provided floating candle centerpieces to save some money. They were described to me as 3 vases of different heights filled with river rocks and a floating candle on top. Well we walk in to our wedding reception and they are just empty vases- no rocks in the bottom. They looked awful and unfinished.\r\r4. I bought custom dinner napkins from The Knot (which I was soo excited about! They came out perfect!) They are nowhere to be found! They had them in a pile on a table rather than at each place setting.\r\r5. Cold dinner.\r\rSo overall if you want a stress free venue DON'T USE THEM. \r- Best of luck to all you brides to be\rRachelle Bunting\r \r

I had to have my ceremony by a romantic tree and LaTranquila had the best place and for a very reasonable price. Sandra will work with you on every aspect to make sure everything goes as planned. \rThey have 2 venues so you can choose the best place for your size. I had 60 people and the villa was perfect. I could not have asked for a better place or better price. \rThe only thing I would have done differently was bring in outside food. Although nobody talks about it, I didn't care for the food. Everything else was great!\r\rI even lost my earring and left one of my guests gifts and they called me to return the items. Fantastic!

My husband and I used La Tranquila as our venue, we used the Villa and could not be more happy about our choice. The service and food were incredible! Sandra met with us, called us, and was available to us constantly before and during the wedding. When our cake was delivered to the wrong place, she personally used her personal vehicle to transfer it to the Villa! The Villa was beautiful and the staff were amazing! All of our guests loved the venue snd thought that the Villa was the perfect place for our wedding! If we had to do it again, we would pick La Tranquila Ranch again. I will constantly recommend LTR and Sandra to all of my engaged friends!

LTR is a gorgeous facility - rustic with tasteful touches of Texas. The staff was very attentive, and their presence was not overstated. Sandra, the facility coordinator went above and beyond her duties-- I forgot my garter, and would have gone without, but she sent a staff member out to pick one up locally without being asked, and had it discreetly placed in an armoire for me to slip on at my leisure. \r\rGreat experience!

I had a wonderful experience working with La Tranquila Ranch to haev my big day be special. Sandra was always available easily by email to answer all my questions- no matter how big or small they were. She really took the time to make us feel comfortable with choosing La Tranquila Ranch for our wedding. We got married in the Villa and I love the functional atmosphere it provides. The only negative pointed out to me by some of my guests and family is that the carpet is in need of some updating. That was the only negative comment I heard- the rest of the feedback from our family and guests was phenomenal. Had a great time and would highly recommend to anybody.
