Karen who gave us our tour was there with us the day we got married and she truly made the experience so special. We loved her energy along with the rest of the wonderful staff. We only saw two venues IRL and this one stole our hearts. The lake is beautiful and the venue is stunning as well. Luckily, we had an outdoor wedding as the rain cleared in the early afternoon. Cocktail hour food was unbelievable... I wish we had more but our guests are still raving about it. Some folks were too stuffed to eat dinner. Getting ready at the venue was also a huge bonus and both areas for the bride and groom are beautiful and spacious. Last note this is a one wedding per day venue which was extremely important to us! Genuinely confused that more folks don’t have their wedding here. We loved this venue !!

What more can you ask for? An absolute stunning venue with the lake in the background, a high vaulted ballroom and really unique bridal/groom suites. The venue provided our photographer with so many stunning photo opportunities and our guests LOVED our wedding – partly because of how unique it was to many other wedding locations and the different settings throughout the day – from the beach for our ceremony, to the boardwalk for cocktail hour to the ballroom for reception. There’s even a quaint little town adjacent that your guests can explore before the wedding. The food was second to none – some of our guests were so well fed during cocktail hour they weren’t expecting a three course dinner to come! And finally – the people. The venue is nothing without the strong support of the team behind it and the whole LMCC team the day of executed the event flawlessly. Blake, Amber and Karen in particular have been an absolute delight to work with for the year we locked in the venue – open to all our questions and so supportive to all our requests. We know how important it is to choose the right venue and we couldn’t recommend LMCC highly enough – you’ll be in great hands.

If you’re like us and are looking for a lakeside venue… look no further! Mohawk has it all. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married here. It was truly the best day of our lives. The atmosphere of this venue is absolutely breathtaking. All of our guests were saying they felt like they were on a vacation. The staff is phenomenal. Blake is 10/10 and was our go to throughout most of our planning process. We couldn’t make the food tasting date, so Blake set up a private tasting for us!! She made us feel like family. Amber stepped in on our wedding day and we couldn’t have asked for better service. My dads button popped off his jacket right before pictures… Amber sewed it back on for him! Elise decorated our cake beautifully and made sure we had everything we needed. These ladies decorated the entire reception room for us, and it was almost like they knew my vision without me even having to explain what I wanted! Right before the ceremony, it started to rain and instead of just saying “everything is moved indoors”, Amber gave us the option to postpone and wait it out. We are sooo thankful for that because our outdoor ceremony turned out to be everything we could have ever dreamed of. Just beyond gorgeous views. We are still on cloud 9 from this amazing day. Book Lake Mohawk Country Club for your wedding!!! You won’t regret it. We wish we could do it all over again.

Lake Mohawk Country Club was the only venue my now husband and I went to look at. We knew as soon as we got there that we wanted to get married there. The location is breath taking and luckily for us we got married on a 70 and sunny spring day. We both got ready on site, and had our ceremony on site. It was a dream, everything about the day was perfect. The food, the service, and everything in between. I would recommend LMCC to everyone.

I choose LMCC for my special day just by looking at images and reading reviews online. The minute I seen the venue and the grounds, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. I went to visit one other venue before visiting here and once I came to LMCC, nothing compared and I couldn't get it off my mind. Not only is the wedding room beautiful but the whole day is beautifully planned out. The women can get ready in the Tower Suite as early as 8am (at an additional charge ) and the men can get ready in the den (at an additional charge). Being able to get married on the sand, by the lake made me feel like I was getting married at a destination other than NJ. Deb was great during booking and then Alexis took over from there. She was absolutely fantastic and my go to throughout the whole planning process. She was very helpful and personable. She answered all my questions whenever I had them and really tried to work with me in every way she could. I was able to drop off my decor 2 days before and the day of, it was all set up for me. They even decorated the tower suite for me (with items I brought). The day of was a little hectic and I wished I had Alexis by my side the whole day but Amber was there during the reception to help when needed. The food was delicious and everyone is still saying it is the best wedding they have been to. One advice for future couple is to make sure that you eat during cocktail. They do put food aside for you but if you're busy, they will not come find you to make sure you eat. They will leave it for you on a table set aside for the couple. I wish I could relive the day and do it all again. It was everything I ever dreamt of for my wedding and it was all brought to life at LMCC. You will be able to do a tasting and then come in for a details meeting prior to wedding to sort all things out. I never felt rushed on the phone or at the meeting, Alexis gave me all the time I needed. I greatly recommend LMCC for your special day. You will not be disappointed.

If you're looking for a beautiful, romantic and charming lakefront wedding venue, look no further than Lake Mohawk Country Club! Having grown up in Lake Mohawk, it was the running joke that I had no choice but to get married there one day. Well when the time came to look at wedding venues, I searched far and wide, but none seemed to quite compare to what LMCC has to offer. Beautiful scenery, a gorgeous ballroom, only 1 wedding per day and friendly, helpful and accommodating staff.From the first meeting with Alexis + Deb they went above and beyond to help make the vision for my wedding at LMCC come to life. They seemed to happily put up with me throughout two years of planning, countless emails, drop ins and meetings, no easy feat I'm sure!As the wedding day approached Alexis + Amber were on top of everything and worked with me and my planner through multiple options of rain contingency plans as Hurricane Ian threatened to rain on our day. On the day of, all of our planning and the thoroughness of the LMCC team paid off and we had the most perfect, stress-free, beautiful and rain free wedding at LMCC! Thank you Alexis, Amber, Deb, Greg & the entire LMCC team!

We cannot say enough good things about LMCC! Thanks to LMCC our wedding day was everything we ever dreamed of and more. The staff at LMCC went above and beyond, making not only us feel comfortable and accommodated, but each and everyone of our guests as well. The staff's hard work and attention to detail was phenomenal. From planning the wedding to enjoying our wedding day, the staff was easy to work with, friendly, and dedicated to making our wedding day vision come to life. Having grown up in Sparta, NJ, I never thought I'd get married at Lake Mohawk Country Club. However, as my now husband, parents, and I looked at the beautiful Lake Mohawk Country Club, it quickly dawned on us that a one-of-a-kind venue was sitting right in our own backyard. From the day we chose our venue to the day we said I do, Alexis and the team at Lake Mohawk Country Club went above and beyond to make our wedding planning process as smooth as possible. Our friends and family are still talking about what an absolutely beautiful day it was and how unique the venue was. Alexis kindly arranged multiple tours of the venue for us so we could take pictures and envision the day, and any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly. The food at Lake Mohawk Country Club was absolutely delicious and there was ALOT of it! Our guests thought our happy hour might be the actual dinner as there were so many delightful bites to be had, but they were pleasantly surprised with the reception meal and desserts to close out the night! We chose to get ready using the bridal suite and den which made such a difference for our entire wedding party. The setting of the country club right on historic and breathtaking Lake Mohawk made for photos we could have only wished for. We also had several toddlers in our wedding party and they also felt right at home. We don't have a single regret in choosing Lake Mohawk Country Club as our wedding venue and would do so again in a heartbeat. Truly a class act and the absolutely best wedding experience. from the moment we booked lake mohawk, everything was such a breeze. we have gotten so many phone calls/texts/in person compliments about lake mohawk. From the view, to the venue itself, to the service and the food. Everything was absolutely amazing and so delicious! Our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The bartenders were so friendly and the staff also. they made wedding planning so easy for me and the day itself was so seamless and perfect! Lake mohawk is absolutely amazing and we are both still on cloud 9 from our wedding day.

Our wedding at LMCC was absolutely magical! The first time we met with Deb and toured the venue we knew this was the place. The positive happy energy along with the stunning lake views were everything we were looking for. Communication throughout the planning phase was extremely organized and easy with the LMCC team. On our wedding day we were in great hands and all we had to do was enjoy the moment! The beach wedding, boardwalk cocktail hour and reception were even more beautiful with all of our friends and family there not to mention an absolutely stunning sunset! Thank you LMCC!!!

The staff were amazing - so accommodating, flexible, and helpful throughout the whole planning process and on the big day. The day went so smoothly thanks to the wonderful team we had helping us (thanks so much Alexis, Amber and Deb!) - we were truly able to enjoy the day without having to worry about any of the logistics as the staff handled everything so well. We had our wedding at the Lake Mohawk Country Club on July 17, 2022 and everything was perfect and exactly the way we wanted!Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule our wedding a couple of times, but the whole staff at the Lake Mohawk Country Club was very flexible, accommodating and understanding whenever we had to make any changes.Alexis was our main contact person throughout the whole planning process and she was always very kind, responsive, patient and a pleasure to work with. On the wedding day, everything went super smooth and the whole staff went above and beyond to make sure that all our requests were taken care of - we didn’t have to worry about anything and could simply enjoy our day!Everyone at the Lake Mohawk Country Club was very helpful, friendly, attentive to all the details and provided an amazing service to us and to our guests.We received many compliments from our guests saying that the food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and the views from the venue were beautiful. We are so happy we chose the Lake Mohawk Country Club as our venue and would highly recommend them!

I couldn’t possibly express my gratitude to Lake Mohawk in a post. They were kind, patient, professional, flexible, and an absolute joy to work with over the year that I worked on wedding planning. Their prices were reasonable and they went above and beyond without additional fees on many occasions. I emailed them countless ideas and requests throughout the year, and not only did they keep an organized record of these; all I heard in response was “sure, we can do that!” each time. Deb Graybill, the catering manager, is an absolute joy, and her staff, including Alexis, Olivia, and the other events coordinators are capable, professional, and friendly. On the day of, I felt so taken care of by everyone. I never had to step in or direct anyone or answer questions. The entire staff was prepped and able to direct everyone and everything so I could enjoy my day, without me briefing anyone. Absolutely amazing, and an affordable option, particularly for us since we were under a guest count of 120 and considered a “micro” wedding. It’s been several weeks since our wedding and guests are still reaching out to me to complement how magical this venue was – spacious but cozy, amazing views, just an absolutely unique place.

The Lake Mohawk Club was the perfect venue for wedding. Deb, Alexis, and Amber were all so incredibly helpful and great to work with while we were planning our wedding. Anything we wanted they were able to provide and they were always quick to respond to an email or call. I asked for a custom build your own cannoli station during the reception and they delivered! It was everything I wanted and the guests loved it. The venue is also so beautiful and photographed amazing from every spot. Our ceremony on the beach and photos on the boardwalk were picture perfect. The day of the wedding everything went super smooth with the team at the Lake Mohawk Club handling everything seamlessly. The food is was also high quality and delish! The reception room was so beautifully decorated with string lights and they were even able to accommodate a second bar by the dance floor. I highly recommend the Lake Mohawk Club not only for the gorgeous location but also for the professional and dedication of the amazing ladies working there!

Our wedding at the Lake Mohawk Country Club and the entire experience leading up to it was wonderful! Deb, Amber, and Alexis were extremely helpful during the planning process. They promptly and thoroughlly answered all of our questions and were such pleasures to work with. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and our guests told us the cocktail hour was so stocked they thought it was the dinner! To say my wedding experience at Lake Mohawk Country Club was spectacular is an understatement! Everyone deserves to have their wedding planning and execution run as well as my husband and I did.To start, the women running this venue are absolutely fantastic!! They have become like family to us. They are kind, personable, understanding and willing to do whatever they can. From the moment we met them, we knew we could put everything in their hands and trust them. And boy, were we right!LMCC provides a beautiful setting on the lake. Guests were stunned by the beauty surrounding them and said it was the most beautiful ceremony and reception space they've been to. The food was amazing. The service staff not only worked hard, but did it with SMILES on their faces. Everyone says hello!Do yourself a favor and check out LMCC. The coordinators, the staff, the setting and the venue itself are superb. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

I don’t even know where to begin! Lake Mohawk Country Club is the most beautiful venue – the view is unparalleled and provides the perfect backdrop for a truly magical day! My husband and I had a wedding planned for January of 2021 at a different venue. Due to the uncertainty with covid and having recently moved to the area, we decided to cancel our original plans, get married with just our immediate families and have a wedding celebration at LMCC on Labor Day Weekend. Having previously planned a wedding with a different venue, we can honestly say that the level of service that we received from LMCC was exceptional (specifically Deb, Alexis, Kati and Amber)! We really wanted to do something a bit more laid back considering we were already married but didn’t have anything specific in mind. Deb had suggested a BBQ theme and when we realized the Saturday of LDW was available we were completely sold. The entire planning process was seamless and Deb and Alexis made it such a collaborative experience that I would be beaming with excitement after every phone call we had. Because it was going to be BBQ, we really wanted to do a sit down family style service for dinner. With the delta variant creating concern over stricter restrictions potentially being imposed on self service, Deb preemptively reached out to suggest coming up with a different plan so that we weren’t stressed over making last minute major changes regarding the dinner service. We felt strongly about not having chef attended buffet stations considering the number of guests attending and Deb proposed a perfect solution to allow us to still have a sit down plated meal with all of the options we had wanted served family style. Deb, Alexis, Amber and Kati are rockstars at what they do – they are quick on their feet, creative, accommodating, and truly dedicated to curating a wedding day that is representative of the bride and groom and their vision. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to create the most incredible day for us that exceeded every expectation we ever could have imagined. We could not have been happier or more impressed with the experience we had with LMCC and highly recommend them to anyone in search of a perfect venue!

If you are looking to have a wedding with unbelievable views and deal with the kindest people this venue is for you. My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding in 2020 due to covid and the venue made the process very smooth and we’re incredibly supportive. This did not go unnoticed. They helped us every step of the way. We feel extremely fortunate to have our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club. I would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone!

Words truly can't do this venue justice. We booked LMCC for our wedding almost three years ago and, after a year-long postponement due to COVID, we finally had our magical day last week. Deb, Alexis and Amber were amazing through it all - from our original booking, to our postponement, to working with us on all details leading up to the day, we couldn't have been treated better. Deb at times was more therapist than vendor, and I now consider Alexis a BFF! ;) We had some unique last minute requests they were more than happy to handle, and when the day came, even WE were blown away by how perfectly it all came together. I highly recommend a beach ceremony and cocktail hour at sunset - it's a view unlike any other I've seen . Every one of our guests has been raving non-stop over the last week about the food, the beauty of the venue, and the FUN that was had. If I could have a million weddings, I'd choose LMCC a million times over. Run, don't walk, to book LMCC for your wedding / next event - you won't regret it!

Deb, Alexis, Amber and team made my ultimate vision and dreams come true this May! Haven gotten engaged right before COVID and then trying to plan during this time added an extra, and difficult, level of detail in which I had to be thoughtful of in terms of planning our wedding. The team at Lake Mohawk Country Club was beyond amazing in terms of communication, advice, and making sure, despite ALL odds, I would still have a wonderful wedding. I can honestly say I had little to NO stress, even during COVID, with their communication with me and going above and beyond in all areas COVID and otherwise. I am happy to say I did in fact have the wedding of my dreams (i wish we could do it again!). My guests continue to rave about the venue aesthetic, the lake, the service, the cocktail hour and cocktail hour food (which was plentiful and very diverse!), and what my guests are saying was the BEST dinner they had ever had a wedding. My husband and I chose to do the Den and Bridal Tower to get ready in morning of and I felt pampered and almost like royalty! I am still on cloud nine and honestly cannot think of one thing that could have gone better - it was BEYOND my greatest expectations. We cannot thank all of the staff at Lake Mohawk Country Club enough for all of their support and guidance over these past few months. Having a wedding during a pandemic wasn't easy, but working with all of the staff at Lake Mohawk truly made our wedding day unforgettable. Since last July, Deborah and Alexis have been so wonderful! They were in constant communication and always willing to jump on a phone call to answer any questions. It was so reassuring to know that no matter what they were there to make sure our wedding day would be the best day of our lives. We are truly so grateful and would recommend this venue to any engaged couple!

We cannot thank Lake Mohawk enough for being the backbone of our wedding planning and assembling our vision for the day perfectly and professionally. The coordinators of that day, especially Deb Graybill, were extremely responsive and communicative with EVERY change that evolved in a pandemic planning era. They were up front about what pandemic restrictions would look like but were as flexible as you could possibly be so as to allow us to still celebrate our wedding as close to our original plan as possible while being safe from a COVID perspective. On the day of our wedding, I was truly blown away by how the staff listened to every thought I had when it came to decor (even details I had forgot Id mentioned or mentioned in passing) and what we had in mind for the day. They were unbelievably organized and every single employee was kind and hardworking. I can truly say that in a time of so much uncertainty, Lake Mohawk Country Club team went above and beyond to provide as much support and reassurance as possible and I can also say that the day went a million times better than I could have dreamed. I am forever grateful for LMCC for executing the perfect day and paying mind to every detail that makes a wedding special. They are a WELL oiled wedding machine and it shows! I had my wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club on August 14, 2020. While we originally chose this venue Pre-pandemic due to the stunning rustic ballroom with vaulted ceilings, we were not able to take advantage. In the end, this ended up being a blessing, as the outdoor option we were offered proved to be breathtaking. My guests are still messaging me about how amazing the venue was. These are obviously crazy times, but multiple people from the venue were with us every step of the way. We originally booked with Alexis, who was also my day of coordinator. Her attitude and attention to detail was spot on throughout the entire planning process as well as the wedding day. Deborah also helped walk us through the menu in detail since Covid basically cancelled our tasting. She was also extremely positive and helpful in terms of finalizing what would work as a floor plan and dance floor. We even ended up moving our rehearsal dinner to the venue which was decorated beautifully without any of my personal wedding decor needed! The bridal suite and Den (for the guys) were the perfect touches to make the whole day feel special. We were attended to with food and drinks all day, and had plenty of space both inside and outside to get ready with ease and feel comfortable. Our ceremony was held on the beach and offered plenty of space for our 90 guests to feel comfortable. My husband and I are so grateful, not only that we were able to make our wedding work out in these crazy times, but also for initially choosing this venue! I cannot get over how accommodating LMCC was in addition to the amazing views we were able to enjoy all day and night. Our wedding gave us, and our guests, a vacation from the current crazy world - multiple people commented on how it felt like the pandemic didn’t even exist that day. The venue had safety measures in place in a way that flowed smoothly and didn’t take away from the overall beauty or cocktail hour and reception schedule. I highly recommend this venue to all future brides!

From the moment we stepped foot into LMCC we knew that this is where we wanted to exchange our vows and throw a phenomenal party! The entire staff at LMCC felt like family and were amazing with responding to any and all questions we had! We truly felt like part of the LMCC family on our wedding day! It was a fabulous venue, with killer views and amazing food. The entire atmosphere truly made the day magical. We cannot thank LMCC enough for making our wedding day so special. We got married at Lake Mohawk Country Club on August 31, 2019 and it was absolutely perfect. Deb and her team made sure that everything went smoothly from the first meeting all the way through the wedding. They made sure we had everything we needed the day of and were more than accommodating to our requests (even last minute ones)! We used the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den and I am so happy we did. It was so convenient to get ready onsite and we were well taken care of the entire day. Deb and her team also handled getting all of our vendors setup when they arrived which removed any added stress to us and really allowed us to fully enjoy the day. The food was so delicious, our guests are still raving about it a few months later. We couldn’t be happier to have had our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club!

We recently wed at Lake Mohawk Country Club - and it was everything we could have dreamed of! The venue is absolutely stunning. It provides the perfect backdrop for a combination of indoor/outdoor activities. We married on the boardwalk, had our cocktail hour with indoor/outdoor options, our reception in the ballroom and outdoor smores, cornhole and firepits on the beach for late night activities!The staff is super responsive and incredibly accommodating. They were generally super quick to respond to all of our queries, and tried their best to make sure everything went smoothly the day of. We elected to utilize their bridal tower and groomsman suite, and honestly it was an incredible experience. We had an attendant to cater to the bridal party needs, had everything on site, and was a great way to kick off our wedding!Our guests loved everything about our wedding, and we saw almost everyone change their social media photo to accommodate the stunning backdrop the venue provided. Safe to say everyone walked away with fond memories!

We got married on September 21st at the Lake Mohawk Country Club! Our wedding was perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned. All of the staff especially Deb, Amber, Alexis and Greg truly made us feel like family!! We had many special requests throughout the planning process and the staff accommodated us however possible. Getting ready in the bridal suite was a dream come true, I felt like a princess. All of the groomsmen had a blast getting ready in the grooms den. The outdoor beach ceremony and cocktail hour on the lake was breathtaking. We loved every minute of our wedding day and wish we could relive it. We received so many compliments on how unique the venue is. We wish we could attend another wedding here as guests! We highly recommend selecting LMCC as your wedding venue!

If you're looking for the most beautiful, serene, hidden gem for a wedding venue, look no further! My guests were raving from start to finish and still today I get compliments on how much they enjoyed the venue. I got to marry the love of my life on the beach with a gorgeous backdrop, and then head into the beautiful dining room with a view overlooking the stunning lake. The pictures came out absolutely fabulous with all the venue has to offer! The food was much more delicious than it was during the initial tasting we attended. My guests wouldn't stop talking about how amazing the filet mignon was! All of my decorations were set up so perfectly by the staff. They are truly talented at what they do. I was able to have full faith in the team to handle any issues that came about. Amber, Deb, Kati and Alexis worked with me closely for the months leading up to my event and were extremely kind and helpful. On the day of, they brought all the cocktail hour food up to the bridal suite for us, which worked out great since there is no time to eat while you greet your guests and take pictures ! Every detail was perfect on that day and I couldn't be more pleased. I hope one day I can go back to the venue for someone else's wedding so I can take it all in again!

Writing a review for the best wedding venue my husband and I could have chosen is going to be difficult. First off...the ladies (Deborah, Alexis, & Amber) at LMCC are beyond the best!!! With every detail that I dreamed of...it all came true on July 6th, 2019. The view from the boardwalk is breathtaking, the bridal suite and grooms den were perfect for getting ready, the staff is over accommodating, and the Ballroom is breathtaking as well. On the day of our wedding it down-poured rain right at the time of our ceremony, and we had to use our Plan B (the Ballroom). I can honestly say...in the end it was the best thing that could have happened! It was in the air conditioning, we still had an awesome back drop, and best of all for a bride--I had a longer aisle to walk down!! hehehe Due to the rain LMCC had to do a LMCC first and they use the Member's room for the cocktail hour...and again...it was the best thing that could have happened!! Everyone loved every moment at our wedding and we have LMCC to thank for that!!!

I could not have imagined getting married anywhere else besides Lake Mohawak Country Club! I started off my day by getting ready in their gorgeous bridal suite, and I am so glad that I did. They provided us with beautiful views of the lake, perfect pictures, and unlimited food and mimosas! Our wedding was in June of 2019 and everything was perfect... until there was a brief downpour and we could no longer have cocktail hour outside. I was so upset. However, our Maitre D' for the night, Amber, did the most amazing job moving the cocktail hour inside and making it almost as beautiful as having it outside. Half way through the cocktail hour, it cleared up and guest started to move outside to see the beautiful views. Amber and the servers accommodated those guests by bringing the passed hors d'oeuvres outside for the reminder of cocktail hour. They were amazing!Everything else from the food, to the people, to the venue was perfect. Deborah help my husband and I plan everything for our big day and I never once felt stressed that something would go wrong. She made sure our vision of our perfect wedding was carried out to the fullest extent. Amber checked in on us to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we needed anything at all throughout the day. The food was delicious and many of our guests commented that it was the best sit down dinner that they ever had at a wedding. The beef upgrade was worth every penny! Lastly, the venue provided the most beautiful pictures and memories that I could have ever imagined. After it rained, the photographer took us outside and we walked up and down the boardwalk. The flowers, lake, and venue were absolutely stunning. I felt like a princess the entire day. I would HIGHLY recommend booking Lake Mohawk as your wedding venue. We had guests from all over the country and many said that this was the best wedding they have ever attended! Thank you LMCC for giving us with the wedding of our dreams!!!

The staff are wonderful, kind, and responsive. You are their only wedding that day, so they give you the attention you would want on your wedding day. The let you customize the day so it is truly reflective of what you and your soon to be spouse would want. The lake does not disappoint in the slightest and provides a serene, elegant, and beautiful background for all of your own professional pictures and well as your guests' own pictures. The best wedding venue! I would not look any further if you are planning your wedding in New Jersey. LMCC has the most perfect setting on Lake Mohawk with a private boardwalk, and a beach area if you wish to have your wedding ceremony on the sands by the water like we did. Our entire planning experience from start to the wedding day, to the day after was seamless with the help of Alexis, who an amazing event professional. The entire team was incredible! They gave us a run through of everything to help us plan, and were very flexible when we wanted to talk or come see the space. Communication was awesome! We had no worries with food, beverage or the setup because they did everything to our liking. Thank you for making our dream wedding came true.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about LMCC and their staff. My mom and I first walked into LMCC on a whim when we were looking at venues in the area. Even though we didn't have an appointment, from the moment we walked in the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. It was so important to us to work with vendors who we felt friendly and comfortable with, and LMCC just went above and beyond.Aside from the wonderful people, the venue itself is just incredible. We both wanted to get married right on the water, and the fact that we were just steps from it on the beach during our ceremony was very special. The ballroom and ceremony space went beyond what we even imagined, and getting ready in the bridal tower with a panoramic view of the lake was so relaxing. Our day went off without a hitch and our guests keep complimenting us on the food and the venue space. If you are thinking about booking your wedding here, please do it! I don't think you'll find a more welcoming, accommodating, or beautiful option out there.

If I could give LMCC more than 5 stars, I would! This was actually one of the very first venues my fiance and I visited and the last - We fell in love the moment we stepped foot on the boardwalk...and so did every single one of our guests! One thing that our guests will never forget about our wedding day was the breathtaking views and beauty of LMCC surrounding us. If I can offer one piece of advice - SPEND THE EXTRA $$ FOR THE BEACH CEREMONY. It made our day so one of a kind and special - I literally thought I was in a movie. What they don't know though is this - the STAFF at the country club had a hand in every single detail of that beauty (except the lucky spring weather haha). I gave them a million DIY decorations so nervous that it would look too cheap or mixed when I put it all together and when I stepped out for the ceremony, the way they had set it up was beyond my wildest imagination (even with all of my over-prepped plans). My groom forgot the rings, I forgot my vows - but no one knew because the staff was there to save the day! No one at that party was without a drink in their hand or a smile on their face throughout the entire day and days leading up to it. Thank you for answering all of my questions, working in such detail with us, and helping create a day that was exactly what I always dreamed. I couldn't imagine having this day any where else.

My fiancé and I were familiar with the Sparta area and we love that it was such a quaint nice town! I had seen pictures online of Lake Mohawk Country Club and was instantly drawn to the beauty of the lake and breathtaking views of the venue. As soon as we got engaged I requested an appointment to tour the venue. We visited in January 2018 and it was below freezing with snow on the ground.. even with the brutal winter weather I could see how incredible of a venue this was and I immediately knew this is where I wanted our dream wedding to be. We met Alexis who was beyond friendly & personable. She made us feel so comfortable and walked us around giving us every detail we needed to make our decision. Without hesitation we set our wedding date!! We couldn’t even see the lake with the snow covered ground but something about the atmosphere was so amazing. We knew we wanted a venue that was different & unique and Lake Mohawk Country Club was the perfect choice for us!! We set our wedding date for April 2019 for a gorgeous spring day on the lake! We couldn’t wait to start the wedding planning and every detail we choose revolved around this beautiful rustic venue! I had envisioned the day in my head and all of it was becoming a reality as the planning continued! Alexis was so helpful and any a question I had she responded right away! She was so incredible to work with and she made the planning process so much easier and less stressful!! She kept us informed of everything during the entire process! We had our food tasting a couple of months before the wedding and we were in awe of what an incredible job the venue did!!! It was so beautifully put together and we ate more in 2hrs than ever thought possible!! We were so excited to sample everything and then soon after picked out our menu!!! We also worked with Amber on the layout of the ballroom.. any changes I needed she made sure they were incorporated right away!!! She is so sweet and helped so much in the planning process!!! The day of the wedding was a dream come true!! Alexis and Amber made sure had everything we needed from the moment we arrived with our bridal party to the venue! The staff was so pleasant and friendly and went out of their way to cater to us! They provided lunch to the bridal party that was this incredible spread of food & drinks! The bridal suite is INCREDIBLE… and the groom’s den was perfect for all the guys to spend the day! The weather turned out to be PERFECT and we were so excited our ceremony could take place on the beach! It was such a gorgeous setting and the cocktail hour on the boardwalk was breathtaking! Alexis, Amber and the entire Lake Mohawk team set up my ballroom beautifully!! I was in tears when I walked in and saw it all decorated! We have had almost every guest tell us that is the best wedding they went to and the venue is so beautiful! We even had some guests say they want to renew their vows there! They were all so shocked at how amazing the staff was…anything that was needed was given to our guests right away. Amber kept asking if I was OK throughout the night and really made me feel so at ease! My dream wedding came to life and I will always be so grateful to the entire staff, especially Alexis and Amber for making my day perfect! I will miss so much working with them and I hope to have another event in the future at LMCC!! I highly recommend Lake Mohawk Country Club to everyone!!!!! If you want a fairylike wedding.. this is the place!!

First off- after seeing the prices of every other venue in Northern New Jersey there was no way you could ever beat the prices at Lake Mohawk. Second- the venue is absolutely beautiful and everyone is so accommodating. No matter how many e-mails I sent or requests I made, they were all answered and met without complaint. Amberly and Debbie were fantastic at making sure our day went off without a hitch. When there were some hiccups (not their fault- I messed up the seating chart and our transportation from the hotel was late) they fixed it and kept everything running smoothly. The food was delicious and plentiful, the ceremony space and reception area were stunning. Down side to be aware of- the boardwalk is open to the public. They try to dissuade people from walking through but there's only so much they can do. My husband and I actually enjoyed walking up and down the boardwalk and having everyone congratulate and compliment us like we were celebrities. Lake Mohawk is a hidden gem up in Sussex County which is perfect if you've been to tons of weddings. It is not overdone and not a traditional Jersey/Italian Wedding Hall. Cannot say enough good things about it and cannot thank everyone at the venue enough for making our day perfect!

Wow!! My (then) fiance and I fell in love with this place as soon as we walked in! The reception hall had beautiful high ceilings with wooden beams that gave it such a vintage and classic feel. The place needed some updating but lucky for us during the year of planning, LMCC updated so many things in the building! By the time our wedding came, the place looked completely brand new. Throughout the whole planning, I was able to get in touch with Krysten, Alexis, and Deborah so easily! (All part of the team.) Alexis really made us feel like family and helped us with everything for the wedding. She was there during the wedding and helped with the ceremony and catered to the bridal suite. I recommend you book the suite, because after the renovations, it looks unbelievable! It is enough space for your girls and more and my bridesmaids and I truly enjoyed spending the day there. Amber was our maitre'd for the night and she was wonderful. She took care of all our needs, we had food and drinks in our hands all night! She even packed us food to go after the reception and we definitely needed it! Overall, people were complimenting us on cocktail hour and said that the food was delicious! They even left the bridal party some food in the bridal suite, which was so nice! They just added a grooms den this year and we toured it. It is very cool and convenient to have everyone in one place for the wedding. You must go visit the place to see how beautiful it really is. Our beach side ceremony was beautiful and romantic. People said the view was breathtaking. The event ran seamlessly from beginning to end. Thank you so much LMCC for making our wedding dreams come true!

Words cannot even describe how amazing everything about our wedding day was! My fiance and I started looking for venues a few weeks after we got engaged in the summer of 2016. If you are looking for something truly special and unique in New Jersey, you need to take a trip up to Sparta and see Lake Mohawk Country Club for yourself. All of our guests kept asking how we knew about this place or if I/my husband were from the area.We were looking for something different from the usual cookie cutter weddings but still wanted to stay in budget. We visited 3 venues our first day of visiting venues in the north NJ area and knew LMCC was the one! The views are breathtaking, the people in Sparta are kind and it just has a very pleasant and quaint feel about it.During our initial contract signing we dealt with Blake, who is no longer with the company. We remained in contact with her assistant, Laura, who was very helpful in answering any questions we had throughout the planning time. All in all, it turned out to be for the better because Blake’s replacement, Deb, did a fantastic job of answering emails and meeting with us in person to go over all our details.As for the big day on 11/4, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We brought a bunch of boxes of our DIY decor to LMCC the night before the wedding. I wish I could personally thank each and every person on staff that day for making everything seem simply effortless and coming together so perfectly.My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal tower (one of the big selling points during our tour at LMCC). The first long room of the bridal tower was perfectly sized for my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law, hair stylist, makeup artist and her assistant and myself. We used the uppermost room of the bridal tower for photos but it also had some additional seating space and the most beautiful natural lighting.The food at cocktail hour was amazing and I saw some hors d'oeuvres we hadn’t chosen in addition to the ones we did select during our food selection meeting, which was an excellent surprise! Everyone I spoke to raved about the passed hors d'oeuvres and kept asking how on earth we found this place. We did have a display of the passed hors d'oeuvres set up for the bridal party upstairs in the bridal tower while we were waiting to be announced into the ballroom for the reception.Dinner was delicious and I’m not sure I have had a better serving of garlic mashed potatoes in my entire life. All of the servers on staff that night were amazing, and I’d love to shout out Amber who attended to me and my new husband the entire night. She is a rockstar! The petit fours and coffee served alongside our cake that we provided were the perfect little bites of dessert. We couldn’t have asked for a better staff than the entire team at Lake Mohawk Country Club.After the big day had come and gone, we came back to LMCC the next morning to pick up what was left of our decor and other assorted things we had left behind in the bridal tower. Everything was neatly tucked away in the boxes and bins we provided on a rolling cart for us to quickly load into our car and be on our way. From start to finish, everything about our wedding at LMCC was perfect - thank you for making our big day the best day ever!

Getting married at Lake Mohawk Country Club was amazing! Deborah and Amber were so helpful the day of and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The floor layout planning tool that we used was incredibly helpful in planning out the room. The fall decor at the country club went perfectly with the decorations that we brought in and complemented our theme wonderfully. We got so many compliments on the venue the night of and days after the wedding (that view is gorgeous) and the food was AMAZING. We ate so much at the cocktail hour that we didn't have a chance to eat our entrees and Amber made sure to package them up for us so that we could take them home, which is a small touch but was so appreciated.

I wasn't going to even write a review for LMCC, honestly because the night was beautiful....BUT....there is a lot that needs to be worked on here! I was very honest in scoring my stars doing this review. Service was OK, Responsiveness to my emails was pretty much that of snail mail, professionalism not up to par, you pay a lot but you can pay a lot and get a lot more and flexibility...well they just went with the flow.The night was made by my guests that attended, the weather, the food was good, the photographer was amazing and the DJ was awesome! LMCC definitely went through some changes. We went through a catering manager change and that was difficult. Blake, who got SO MANY rave reviews is no longer there. Getting responses from the new catering manager were far and few between! The night of the wedding, after the ceremony, I felt as though we were flying solo. No catering manager, no one in charge!!! I was told chafing dishes I didn't order were served and others that I did order weren't served as I ordered. Service of the cakes/cupcakes were never served...so people didn't know what happened to dessert! At the end of the night, I chose not to give additional gratuity on top of the 20% you already pay that doesn't go to the staff because honestly I wanted to give it to those that shined on my daughters special night....It's a beautiful venue....but they need help! (BTW I have OCPD if you're looking for someone to run your venue!!!)

Went to a wedding here recently as a guest. The outdoor boardwalk was lovely however the service of the last course left much to be desired. Specifically, they didn't serve the wedding cake until 15 minutes before the event was to officially end, at 1045 pm. This was 2 hours after dinner had ended and one hour after coffee had been served. So every one's coffee sat cold for an hour waiting for cake to arrive. This showed poor management and timing skills. People were hungry still and waiting for cake to arrive but it didn't until minutes before the wedding was to end. Didn't make any sense and poorly done.

Our wedding at LMCC a few weeks ago couldn't have been more perfect. From the day we walked onto the property, we knew this was the place for us. We admittedly had a bit of trouble with communication with the catering manager, and she actually unexpectedly left the venue 2 weeks before our wedding which threw me into a bit of a panic. Luckily, the maitre'd, Amber, went above and beyond to make sure this didn't have any effect on our day. Everything was perfect from start to finish, the food was great, and our guests couldn't stop asking how we found the venue. The ability to customize a lot of parts of our wedding made it feel like it was really \"ours\" and not just another cookie cutter wedding. LMCC also gets bonus points for the HUGE bridal suite (seriously, it's massive) that we had use of the entire day of our wedding. Getting ready while overlooking the lake was one of my favorite parts of the day. Thanks again, Amber and the whole team at LMCC for making our day absolutely amazing!!

We LOVED our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club. It couldn't have gone any better! The day was beautiful so we had our ceremony on the beach, cocktail on the boardwalk, and reception in the ballroom. Our guests were raving about the venue. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend a beautiful day on a lake?! We knew that LMCC was the place for us right when we walked in. We checked out several other venues and fell in love with this one. Even my fiancé was giving thumbs up all around as we were touring it. The pictures on The Knot are dated. LMCC has had some nice updates since those were posted, so I definitely recommend checking it out!

Blake and the ENTIRE Lake Mohawk Country Club team were just AMAZING. Every single detail was beyond perfect and the team was so involved and helped make our day truly special. Blake allowed us to create a special day, along with her expertise, that was flexible and accommodating with our needs and wants. The most amazing part of all was that they were willing to help and jump in ASAP if there were any issues. On the day of our wedding, our trolley broke down and was unable to take us to the church for our ceremony. Blake, and other staff members of LMCC actually gave us their car keys so that we could drive to the church ASAP and not miss our ceremony. THAT WAS AMAZING. I am not sure I have ever heard of any venue that would literally go that extra mile and do whatever it takes (literally) to make the day go smoothly. Thank you, Blake & the entire LMCC team for making our day so special. You guys were truly amazing!

Blake, Amber and the whole team from the back of the house to the front of the house deserve more than 5 stars! My husband and I got married here on May 20th and planned it long distance from San Diego. The venue itself is absolutely breath taking. All of our guests, both local and distant, were amazed at it's beauty. Blake was accommodating to my flight schedule and any question I asked was answered with Yes or No Problem. The food, decor, staff, ... just everything was flawless. Our day ran so seamlessly and we couldn't have dreamt anything better. We were consistently checked in on to make sure we ate, had a drink, relaxed, danced, etc. There were no hiccups and it exceeded our expectations. The food was amaaaaazing! The cocktail hour blew us away and both proteins were cooked to perfection, a duet of salmon and flank steak. We're big foodies and were able to customize a few appetizers from family recipes. They nailed all of our requests. Not to mention the most adorable bridal suite with refreshments and whatever else we wanted. Blake promised me the day we met I would enjoy my wedding with no stress, from getting ready to leaving for the night... and she delivered. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day perfect!

The food was perfect and we received compliments from our guests throughout the night. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The entire event truly went off without a hitch. The venue is beautiful allowing for a gorgeous indoor and outdoor space to accommodate all guests. I would have my wedding here again and again!

Wow- that is all I, as well as my guests can say about Blake and her team at Lake Mohawk Country Club. My husband and I got married in September and could not have been happier with our special day- it exceeded our expectations!! Months leading up to the day, Blake was amazing at making me feel at ease- she always responded quickly to my mannnnny questions via email and made time for my husband and I when we were in the area to see the venue- they had recently renovated the ballroom throughout the year and it looks amazing!!The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. Blake and Brendan were so helpful and really helped us feel so relaxed. I did not have a wedding planner or florist or anything to help with the set up and thought that I was going to have to do so much of the decorating myself the day of the wedding. Blake's team set up EVERYTHING for me exactly the way that I wanted it for the reception and the ceremony- I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were married on the beach at sunset which was seriously more beautiful than I could have imagined. Unfortunately, the ceremony was postponed almost an hour as our officiant and many of our guests were stuck in traffic because of an accident. Blake and Brendan were so accommodating and extended our reception time an additional hour to make up for our time that was lost. I am forever grateful to them for doing this!!! I was in absolute shock and tears the entire evening because of how beautifully rustic and romantic the venue was. It was beyond what I dreamed. The food at cocktail hour was AMAZING!! I can't even stress this!! As most brides will find out, you either miss the cocktail hour because you are taking pictures, or because you are busy greeting/thanking guests. When we went to the bridal suite (which is also awesome and is a tower that overlooks the lake) to prepare for the reception, Blake's team provided a huge spread of the hors d'oeuvres that we had missed!! I am still getting so many compliments from my friends and family about how beautiful this venue was/is, how delicious the food was, and how AWESOME the staff is! Blake's waiters were so personable and interacted with my guests by wearing our photo booth props and dancing around the tables!! I was so sad for the night to end and the next day when I went to pick up the rest of our decor, Blake was there to say goodbye to us- it was emotional for both of us!! To have someone like Blake throughout this wonderful part of our life was so comforting. She is so passionate, personable, and caring which honestly sold me on this venue, other than its beauty. I knew from our first meeting that we would be in wonderful hands!! I could go on and on about how great it was!!! We love Lake Mohawk and cannot wait to visit again for dinner!! This is a hidden gem! Thank you Blake, Brendan and the team for making our day so perfect!!

We got married at Lake Mohawk Country Club in late October, and it was absolutely wonderful! I am giving them 5 stars on the strength of their day of execution but there was a little bit of stress getting to that point. The great: The staff, servers, our point-people, were all amazing the day of the ceremony. We felt so well taken care of. They did an amazing job setting up our decorations. The food was good at the tasting but was 100x better the day of! The not so great: Communication was a bit spotty leading up to the event. We would send emails with multiple questions and get responses with only our first question answered. They were always prompt to reply but not getting complete responses caused a little stress and worry (honestly it made me have less confidence in how things would go on the day of). Another little thing that would have helped would have been sending us the number for our balance due at the final payment--we went off our calculations and had to cut an extra check for tax and linens (we got fancier ones through them). We could have contacted them I guess, but when you are in crunch time juggling a million details a proactive notice would have been appreciated! In the end I was thrilled with everything and would recommend to any couples. Just with the warning that you might have to work a little harder to get the answers you need. The view and the venue is worth it though!

Choosing to have our wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club was by far the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. I found this venue by luck. I hadn’t heard of Lake Mohawk, and I was checking it out in a whim with a friend, so I wasn’t expecting much. As soon as I walked in, I knew immediately that my search was over.Walking in the door it looks like every other wedding venue. A room to the right, staircase going up. Once you’re up that staircase, it becomes something else.When you get upstairs, you enter a beautiful, dark wood room with a bar. From there, you have three options: you can go forward to the boardwalk, to the left to the bridal tower, or to the right into the ballroom. I’ll start with the bridal tower.The bridal tower is a two-floor suite. The first floor is a big air conditioned (this was important for our August wedding) room with views of the lake. There’s a big table in the middle where everyone can gather, and multiple spots where your makeup artist or hair dresser can set up. There’s also a private bathroom, which I used throughout the entire wedding. There’s an option to have lunch served to everyone, which I would highly recommend because it’s both delicious and very much needed with the craziness of the day.We got married on the boardwalk overlooking the lake, and it was absolutely beautiful. The ballroom. Nothing compares to this ballroom. I had been there multiple times while preparing for the wedding, and I was blown away by how incredible this room was when it was set up. The high ceilings, the view of the lake through that big window, how perfectly the staff spaced everything out was beyond what I had expected.Finally, and the main reason that I will recommend this venue to anyone that I know without a second thought, are the people who made the night happen. Blake and Brandon made sure that everything went perfectly. They will be there for you from the second you walk in the door to look at the venue until you’re in your honeymoon suite after it’s all done. Their staff was incredible. A woman, whose name escapes me but I wish I could remember, literally helped me staple my wedding dress to itself (the bustle failed) so that I could dance without tripping. Every bartender working knew my name and what I was drinking, and had a drink ready for me before I made it to the bar. I have never felt more cared for in my life, and I danced the night away without a worry. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a single thing about my wedding. My husband and I had the time of our lives, and I will always be grateful to Lake Mohawk for making such an important day go so smoothly. To any future bride & grooms, you won’t be disappointed. This venue is absolutely beautiful and I had an amazing wedding there. The loss of a star is due to poor communication with the catering manager, Blake. She was actually quite impossible to work with. I never actually met her, and she wouldn't return some of my emails or any of my phone calls. Luckily, another manager there helped me tie up all the loose ends about a week before my wedding. The day ended up going great regardless though!

Wow! We were so impressed with LMCC! Blake and her team were amazing and made our planning process a piece of cake! They were so flexible and accommodating, no matter what we asked of them. Our wedding was in November so we had no idea what the weather was going to bring but the country club was ready for anything. We absolutely loved how this venue had both indoor and outdoor accommodations. The tents and heaters outside allowed our guests to watch the sunset while enjoying the amazing happy hour. The food was excellent and the servers were wonderful! From the adorable bridal suite, to the incredible sunset views over the lake, this venue is such a hidden gem! \r

As soon as we saw this venue my husband and I knew we would be married here. It was exactly what we both wanted/dreamed of for a perfect wedding. \rAs a bride, of course I had a million questions for the banquet manager, Blake, on a weekly basis. Her response time was not as quick as I would have liked, but her assistant, Tara, stepped up to the plate and answered me in a very timely manner. Blake would eventually answer, but sometimes would take her days. Yes, I could have called her, but working 40 hours a week it was much easier to e-mail as the questions popped into my head. \rFast forward to rehearsal and the big day!!- The rehearsal was a bit unorganized and the banquet manager, Brendan, seemed quite flustered. I thought maybe it was my fault as I am a bit on the hyper side, but being the bride he should have made this much smoother for me. \rRain was foretasted for the big day, but I was having the ceremony outside no matter WHAT!! I do have to say Brendan made this possible. Although it rained the second my husband got to his spot on the beach, Brendan quickly moved all our guests under a covered gazebo so I still go to have my ceremony outside. Props to him for that! Otherwise it was very unorganized.\rI was a little disappointed in the cocktail hour as were some of my guests. We added 3 stations along with the standard 8 platted h' orderves. I feel like the h' orderves were not being passed around fast enough and half of the wedding did not realize that I had added extra stations of hot food. The servers should have been proactive and let my guests know of the added stations. If you plan on getting married here adding stations is a MUST and please advise the servers to tell the guests!!! The cocktail hour is very skimpy without all the added extras. \rVenue was GORGEOUS!!!! Service could have been MUCH better- very unorganized-Disappointed with that. Dinner was just OK.\rI picked this place for the scenery and location and that is pretty much all I got!

We would definitely recommend LMCC for your upcoming wedding. The actual day of the wedding went off flawlessly and we got so much positive feedback about how beautiful the location was. The cocktail hour food is really varied and there is plenty of food for your guests. Our guests told us that the bartenders were great as well. In addition, the staff are really knowledgeable about how the whole night will run so you don't need to worry much about coordinating vendors and getting a same-day coordinator. The cost for what you get is pretty amazing considering how expensive some other (much less pretty) venues are in the relative geographic region of LMCC. We paid about $120/person including service and tax (I am providing that because it was frustrating that no one listed price during planning!). One thing is that my husband and I are very quick email responders and we were not prepared for how long we would have to wait for responses from the staff at LMCC. But hopefully as staffing changes end they will be better about email response! They also just renovated the whole entrance way and the ballroom so it looks even better now than when we initially saw it. Definitely recommended regardless - our pictures are beautiful! Thanks LMCC!

LMCC was beautiful and flawless the day of our wedding. Everything was coordinated with ease leading up the day and executed perfectly the day of. All the little details were taken care. We had access to the bridal tower all day leading up to the ceremony. You cannot ask for a more beautiful backdrop than Lake Mohawk. The food was phenomenal. Growing up in Sparta, I had been to other events at the country club, but I had never been to a wedding there until my own. Everything went so perfectly. Before the day even came, Brendan was so amazingly helpful and patient with our requests and concerns. The day of the wedding, there was a boat show on the lake. I was so nervous that there would be noise during the ceremony. There wasn't any, until a loud cheering after the ceremony was done (which we permitted). The staff made sure that our ceremony was just as intimate and calm as we hoped it would be on the boardwalk. The service was wonderful. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. Again, Brendan was so excellent during the wedding. Everything went so smoothly. The food was so delicious and praised by everyone at the wedding. The room looked so beautiful with the lighting, flowers, and candles. The boardwalk held the perfect cocktail hour and dessert hour. They make it look so beautiful with the candles. It's a perfect place to have a wedding for the indoors and outdoors. Our guests were able to dance all night or enjoy cigars on the boardwalk. It provided so much space for people. We would recommend this venue for any major event, not only a wedding!

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Lake Mohawk Country Club. On our wedding day, everything went absolutely perfect! The bridesmaids and I had a great bridal suite/tower in which to get ready early in the day. From the moment we arrived, Brendan made sure we had everything we needed. He constantly checked in with me to ask if I needed anything. When I did, he took care of everything immediately. As soon as we got there, we had nothing more to worry about and were able to enjoy the day. Our ceremony was held on the beach which was just breathtaking. Our cocktail hour was outside on the boardwalk and fantastic; people couldn't stop talking about the food and how great the bartenders were. The reception was fantastic with a great dinner buffet which they allowed us to really make unique to my husband's and my taste. Brendan also suggested we have our dessert buffet out on the boardwalk, which was a great suggestion and the guests loved it! The desserts were incredible! Definitely worth the upgrade to the Viennese display. After everything, the staff helped us pack up, and again, were willing to assist us with anything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience. Our only criticism would be that during the planning process it was often very difficult to get in touch with the manager to discuss our concerns - expect for it to sometimes take several days (or sometimes even a week) before she returns your calls. As it turned out, we had nothing to worry about as everything was in very capable hands, but it would have been a little better if they had communicated a little more quickly. Otherwise, AMAZING experience!

I cannot say enough good things about Lake Mohawk Country Club. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Larry, Brendan, and the rest of the team made the wedding day stress-free and fun. They went completely above and beyond the duties of a wedding venue. For instance, there was a miscommunication and I did not get a toss bouquet from my florist. The staff took the bridesmaids bouquets and put together a toss bouquet for me in the middle of the wedding! They truly understand attention to detail and making the day easy and fun. Everyone at the wedding had a phenomenal time, my husband and I included.

When we set out to find a wedding venue, we were not looking for the typical ballroom setting. We had some very specific ideas in mind, and a very tight budget.\rLake Mohawk Country club provided us with the wedding we've always wanted. Our ceremony was held on the beach, with cocktail hour on the boardwalk, overlooking the lake. The ballroom is just spectacular, providing lots of gorgeous pictures of our day. The food was great and everyone had a good time. Larry and his staff were amazing...extremely professional and helpful. They exceeded my every expectation.

We had our wedding at LMCC 3 days after Hurricane Sandy hit. While many other venues in the area were canceling weddings, LMCC insisted on working as hard as they could to put together a beautiful event. Our wedding was perfect!!! Larry, Brendan, Christine and Jake were life savers and did a magnificent job!! This venue gave us a great price for delicious food and an amazing view of the lake. Very highly recommended!

My husband and I had appointments to look at about 5 other venues before we visited Lake Mohawk. We weren't happy with any of the places we visited and were crossing our fingers that the last visit would be it. We didn't even need to step inside for me to know that this was the place I wanted to get married. The surrounding village, the lake as a backdrop, the castle-like building, were the perfect setup for our renaissance-flared wedding. And after meeting with Larry, touring the inside, and working out pricing, we booked our wedding that day! There was no question about it. Larry was very easy to work with during the planning stages and was available every time we needed him. We were able to work out every detail that we wanted for our day, from a boat ride after the ceremony, to a whiskey bar during the cocktail and reception. The staff was very helpful the whole day, my bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite, which was big enough and comfortable for everyone! I had a lot of requests during the setup, of props and decorations that I brought myself, and everyone was extremely helpful in setting everything up and making sure the room looked amazing. The food was delicious, and everyone is still raving about the Viennese dessert tables that were set up on the boardwalk. I highly recommend Lake Mohawk Country Club as a wedding venue- the staff, the location, the reception room with the cathedral window, just makes for the most perfect day.

Lake Mohawk Country Club is a fantastic venue for any bride and groom. I was just married there on 9/8/12 and my husband and I could not have been more thrilled with their service, dedication to detail, and willingness to accomodate any of our wishes. We looked at the venue on a recommendation from a friend and fell in love. They are reasonably priced ~$100-115/person for open bar, cocktail hour, and reception.\r\rWe did our ceremony on site and made full use of the bridal suite ALL day-and staff's attention to making sure my girls and I never went hungry or thirtsy was greatly appreciated. We said safety pin, band-aid, water, sandwich, wine, champagne, chocolate, or tissue and it was there in a blink.\r\rThey were flexible with weather on the day of, willing to change venue from outside to inside needing only 15 minutes, and kept our 165 guests comfortable during the transition. My family, husband, and I are rather picky but Larry Patton never failed to make sure we were never less than 100% happy- and he followed through with flying colors. My guests had nothing but fantastic things to say about the venue and the day and I owe that in large part to Larry, Brendan, and Christine.\r\rMy day was honestly perfect. I would not change a thing. If you choose Lake Mohawk Country Club you will not be disappointed and I am very sure you will agree they are true professionals who may dreams come true.\rThank you LMCC!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Lake Mohawk Country Club. I recently had my wedding there on Nov. 5th. Larry Patton and the entire staff were so professional and made sure the day was perfect. I was considering hiring a day of wedding planner, but it was not necessary at all! The country club set everything up exactly as I wanted! It's an older venue, but it has so much character. Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was- with the outdoor cocktail hour on the lake, to the beautiful ballroom. The pricing is also very reasonable for what you get with the package. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect for all of the girls to get ready in, plus the lake makes for wonderful pictures.

Hard to review as our wedding was not the one we planned for.........there was an unexpected blizzard on our day (October 29th), therefore most of the guests and some of the club employees did not make it. It was still beautiful and we made the best of it. The club is great and the staff very easygoing and friendly.

When My new husband and I chose Lake Mohawk it was freezing cold and everything was snow covered and frozen. We were planning a summer wedding, and something just felt so right about the county club. When I checked back in the spring, I was blown away by the beauty of the surroundings. The country is so nautical and airy, the staff felt like family, and were beyond helpful and professional. My parents and the women in the bridal party arrived for lunch in the bridal suite, and dressed there, having a blast in out own little hideaway while the guests arrived. The lake made a beautiful backdrop for our photos. The food and cake was to die for, we are still getting complimented on how delicious everything was. Lake Mohawk made my wedding day just a dream come true.

The moment I saw this venue I knew it was exactly what I've always dreamt of. My husband and I didn’t want a traditional “banquet hall” or a wedding factory, which is why LMCC was perfect. It was hard to discover, however, as they don’t really advertise which is why I am posting a review. I want other brides to know about this little gem. \r\rLocated in the heart of Sparta, NJ, LMCC is a lake front property with a beautiful French/German Château type architecture and beautiful surroundings which make for fantastic wedding photos. I should also point out that they only do one wedding per day and that should it rain the space inside is just as beautiful for a ceremony and cocktail hour. I felt this was a very important feature as weather always need to be considered and most placed we looked at would have stunk had we needed to move everything inside. \r\rOur ceremony took place on the raised deck off the boardwalk overlooking the lake with the entire cocktail hour hosted right on the boardwalk. The guests then moved inside to the dining area with its 30 ft vaulted ceiling, exposed wood beams, beautiful hardwood floors, old world chandeliers, and glass wall which showcases the beautiful lake views. I honestly can not even truly describe how beautiful it all really is. It’s definitely a must see in person. \r\rOne of my favorite things about the site was the bridal suite. It’s a two story tower which you have all to yourselves for the entire day. The first floor has a deck/patio with chairs The 2nd floor has a complete vanity and full length mirror which is were we all had our hair and makeup done. \r\rTheir food was beyond our expectations and absolutely incredible. There are a ton of choices on their menu for cocktail hour and dinner. They provided our guests with FOUR dinner options. Open bar and wedding cake were all included. LMCC was the 7th and last wedding site we looked at and I have to say that nothing else compared when factoring in location, beauty of property, spaciousness, quality of food and price. \r\rThe catering manager, Larry Patton, was extremely accommodating and was a huge help during the entire process. He met with me on 3 different occasions to go over our needs, which really put my mind at ease. Exchanging info through email wasn’t always good as sometimes he wouldn’t receive them so I figured out rather quickly that it was always best to call him to make sure he got the information. As long as you can handle that then you should be completely satisfied. On the day of he was there to help not only organize my décor requests but also organize and do a quick run through of the processional as we did not have a rehearsal. \r\rOur guests haven't stopped talking about how wonderfully different out wedding was, or about how great the food was! Larry & Lake Mohawk Country Club truly let us have a wedding that was \"us,\" and we wouldn't have been able to make it so special anywhere else.

LMCC is a beautiful, sophisticated location for both wedding and reception. Ceremony can be located on the deck over-looking the lake or right on the beach. For about 75$ a plate you get a very large variety of hour devours, salad, appetizer, entrée, and the cake is included too! The staff is excellent and they will do anything and everything to make sure your needs are fulfilled. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a gorgeous, complete, tasteful wedding on a budget.
