The venue was beautiful and Lisa O. was an amazing coordinator and went above and beyond for us. The only critique I have is that accounting does not communicate so we were getting multiple invoices on the same day and getting contradicting information. Also, we had some DIY decor that we brought and the venue told us that they would put everything that was ours in a specific area to take home, but the staff did not follow through so my family had to look for the stuff that was ours and there were things that we never got back. Overall it was a good experience but there are some things that we were not happy with. Reviewed on 20-07-2023

Not recommended. My fiance and I work in law enforcement and were super careful about being upfront with what we wanted in the wedding and following their rules. We had prior approval with our day-of coordinator to pass out small shooters of alcohol in the ceremony. It wasn't until two days later that we got fined for an \"alcohol violation.\" Apparently we weren't supposed to hand out shooters. When I told management I had approval with my coordinator, they then changed the reasoning to because they found an empty beer can in the suite. I can say with 100% certainty that our bridal party did not bring any outside alcohol into the suite as requested. Friends and family did stop by the suite to say hi and probably left their trash behind. But we got fined $515 for trash left by people coming by to say hi. No employees mentioned anything to us on the day of or asked about outside alcohol. They literally fined us $500+ for trash left behind by wedding guests. We also paid for a second bartender that was non existent most the evening. When we asked the single bartender where he was, she slipped up and said they usually send him home around 7-8. We had to go to management and ask for the second bartender we paid for and were returned with nothing but a huge attitude. We never got our grand exit that we had requested and planned for!The venue communication leading up to the wedding was awful. Id go days and weeks without hearing back from anyone, and it seemed as if the things I requested were always lost in translation. They always blamed it on \"changing management.\"The venue definitely is beautiful. My day of coordinator was very sweet and helpful. But I feel so disappointed by how we were treated by Lake Oak Meadows and for the insane amount of money we paid for the wedding, I would have definitely gone somewhere else. Reviewed on 29-05-2023

We had the most beautiful day, it was seriously a fairy tale and all of our guests enjoyed every minute. It was chilly so we had rented 14 heaters and everyone was warm after a few drinks and dancing. Our day of coordinators were so helpful while I was having a breakdown in the bridal suite đ honestly everything was great. It really is a fairy tale venue and the food was amazing! My only downfall was underestimating the cost of everything- remember your contracted price is more of a âstarting atâ price and changes depending on how many guests you add and what package you chose. Make sure to Budget for insurance, security deposit, heaters if needed, etc. Weâre both terrible at that and didnât budget for all of the extra expenses but thatâs our own fault! Saleemah King(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-06-2022 I am rating this venue four stars and I feel like I'm being generous. Initially when we went to tour the property we fell in love with it and all the amenities included. We booked this venue 18 months out from our wedding date , and we thought it was perfect. If they make you any promises make sure you get it in writing. I know businesses were effected by COVID, but their biggest issue was communication. No one told us our contact person had changed, they assigned us a new florist ( I had already signed a contract with the old florist), they no longer provided the tent for outside and we would have to get our own rental. We were initially told if we needed to we could add an extra hour at the end or beginning for a extra charge, but when it was close to the wedding they told us we couldn't add an extra hour. Four months out from the wedding we were informed they no longer provided the honeymoon suite on site, thankfully they refunded us. But it added more stress to now find a place to stay the night of our wedding four months away when mostly everything is sold out. There were other situations that added stress because of the lack of communication between previous employees and current employees , and the lack of communication from them to us.( construction on site, change in access) That is my biggest complaint and was the biggest headache and inconvenience. We chose this venue for convenience and everything they said would be included. We paid for all these things to be changed along the way. But why I've rated this venue four stars and not less is because the actual location and views saved it. All in all it was beautiful and the day of is the most important part. If I had to do it all again knowing what I know now I want to say I would pick a different venue. But there was nothing to prepare us for employee turn over, poor communication, and changes because of COVID. Without all of that I would rate Lake Oak Meadows five plus stars. With all that said love the scenery and how things turned out , and would suggest asking a lot of questions, getting promises in writing, and stay on top of communication even if they aren't reaching out to you. Fang Fei(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-03-2022 My husband and I got married at LOM on March 24th. When we first visited the venue, we knew right away that this was the one. The entire venue is absolutely breathtaking. Being a busy couple, we loved that this venue was all-inclusive and had all the vendors picked out for us. The only vendors that they did not offer were the photographer and videographer. All the vendors were absolutely amazing to work with and they took our vision and made it a reality. After we signed our contract, we did notice that they were going through a Management change and there were minor hiccups with communication and some changes that were unexpected, including the Honeymoon suite being no longer available. However, we understand that with any big changes, there may be some small bumps. Some shoutouts for the people at LOM: Brenda was our day-of coordinator. She was attentive, supportive, and got everything done! We are so thankful to have Brenda to make sure everything went perfectly. Yasmin from Catering was also spectacular during our tasting and super responsive. Courtney is part of the venue coordinating team and always answered my emails/questions in such a timely manner. Victoria was also our bridal hostess and she was the best. She made sure that we had everything that we needed and was very welcoming. Thank you all!Let's talk about the actual day. It was the most magical wedding -- more than anything I could have ever imagined! The Bridal Suite was comfortable and beautiful for getting-ready photos. My bridesmaids, Mom, and I had such a wonderful time getting ready and spending quality time together before the ceremony. The ceremony itself was gorgeous. I opted to pay a little extra to ride on the horse & carriage, which is SO worth it (if you are on the fence about it, don't be! It totally blew my guests away and it was also a great time to have a nice chat with my dad before walking down the aisle). The entire night from cocktail hour to last dance was absolutely incredible. Amazing food, service, bartending, DJ, and more. I highly recommend LOM! Reviewed on 14-04-2022

Sylvia Clegg(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2021 Unfortunately, I was fairly disappointed in LOM. The venue itself was extremely beautiful & we were very happy with our wedding overall. However, LOM was a nightmare to work with & left me feeling undervalued as a bride & paying customer. When working with them & planning things, they were impossible to communicate with. When first booking with them, we were told that we would begin to receive communication 6 months prior to our wedding to begin planning details. Nobody reached out & instead I had to initiate contact less than 3 months prior to ensure things would actually be taken care of & setup how we wanted. I dealt with countless situations where I would call, email & text several times in a day without any return communication. I understand they were inundated with Covid reschedules, but you'd think that after paying tens of thousands of dollars that they could at least return a phone call or reply to an email. What upset me the most was that we booked our wedding 18 months in advance. The main reason we selected LOM was because they were a closed & private venue; they reassured us that on wedding days, they close the grounds at 4 pm & ensure that all winery guests are off property prior to the start of the wedding. Unbeknownst to us, this changed at some point between booking our wedding & the actual date & they didn't even bother to communicate that this changed. Not only did their winery remain open during the duration of our ceremony & beyond, but we also dealt with drunk winery guests walking through & disrupting things during setup. Also, the extremely loud music that was playing at the winery overpowered our music & festivities as they were \"only required to silence it during the ceremony but not the reception.\" In addition, I had over a hundred winery guests gawking over me while trying to take photos prior to the ceremony which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.Another major issue we experienced was their catering vendor dropping us less than 3 months before our wedding. They reassured us that they found a replacement but made it impossible for us to schedule a tasting and select our menu. After constantly having to pester them to get something scheduled, they finally accommodated us, however, it was only one month prior to our wedding & the items provided at the tasting were not what was requested. Therefore we had to blindly select our menu & cross our fingers that it would be what we hoped. In an attempt to request that they try & makeup for some of the hassle & inconveniences we had experienced, we asked what sort of compensation they could offer, if any. We were interested in the charger plates they had for rent & they promised that they would include these complimentary for the trouble. Come our reception, the table settings didn't include the charger plates & ended up looking plain. Had I known they weren't going to follow through on this promise, I would have provided these myself as it was a detail I wanted in our setup. Our day-of coordinator Hayley was very helpful getting things organized leading up to our wedding & ensured a smooth day from start to finish. However, our bridal party had to help with a fair amount of setup day-of that LOM wouldn't do.At the end of the day our wedding was amazing due to all the work we did on our end. The venue overall was extremely beautiful, but if I had to do it over, I'm not sure I would choose to work with LOM as they only added to the stress of planning a wedding. Reviewed on 21-10-2021

When we arrived the morning of the ceremony, our suite attendant - Janelle - welcomed us and had everything ready for the bridal suites. She was extremely helpful, cheerful and available for anything needed while getting ready. Our day of coordinator - Lisa - was an absolute Godsend! Several weeks before the wedding she spent a long time on the phone with my daughter detailing everything my daughter wanted. She was also available several times after for emails, questions and phone calls. She gave advice, helped with timelines and expectations and contacted all the vendors beforehand. She also was very patient as we gave her several revisions to the seating chart leading up to the day of the wedding. Lisa also made sure everything was set up exactly how we envisioned - even as we changed a few things last minute. When she was ready to leave just before the dinner started, she made sure to let me know she was leaving and that we were in good hands. For the rest of the evening, our DJ - Taylor - kept everything moving along flawlessly. Taylor had a great personality and did an incredible job! (If anyone needs a great DJ - look him up with Good Time Entertainment - you won't be sorry!)Adding to the spectacular evening was Temecula Catering. The food was delectable! So many of our guests have been raving about the food and saying it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. It truly was outstanding! The wait staff was superb as well! Even the security guard - Thomas - was extremely helpful and friendly! The staff and vendors provided by Lake Oak were unbelievably fantastic and treated us as if we were the most important people that day. Of course, the venue itself couldn't be any more beautiful. The grounds are some of the prettiest and most enchanting I have ever seen. The daylight showcases spectacular flowers along the water, gorgeous trees and beautiful vineyard areas, then the entire place lights up in the evening with twinkle lights everywhere, and fire in the lake! Marie de Alcuaz(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-07-2021 We booked LOM pre-pandemic for a wedding in June of 2020, almost a year and half in advance. Much like other recenter reviews, we unfortunately fell for their sales pitch & booked our wedding trusting that the promise a private venue would be kept. When the pandemic hit, LOM allowed us to move our date back with no issues and I had all the hope in the world that our promises would continue to be kept. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The venue actively chooses not to communicate ANY details to their couples. Sara C in the office was not only rude to me, but a few months out of our rescheduling wedding actively ignored each and every message I sent her unless I asked one of our vendors to talk to her on our behalf. Ashlynn was also extremely rude to me when I began to question of all of the changes that I was hearing through the grapevine of our vendors. Each change, such as a tasting no longer being offered complimentary and onsite at LOM with the caterer, the venue no longer being private, and a new bridal/groom get ready suite being built were things I learned through HORROR stories from our vendors. They blamed everyone on the COVID & needing to âkeep their lights on.â Clearly, no couples were kept in the loop on any changes were practically gaslit by LOM staff when pushing back. I was told for weeks that I could not use the new bridal suites starting at 9am the day of my wedding despite the extra money I had paid for those additional hours. This is the because the new bridal suite is also the honeymoon suite? We were told we could use the room at 11am. After my VENDORS argued with LOM on my behalf because, as usual, Sara C ignored my every message, I was told 9am would be fine. Then, the night before the wedding I was told I could not use the new bridal suite until 11am (this is was 9pm THE NIGHT BEFORE) because the AC was failing. When I questioned this by stating I had been in the new bridal suite that morning and it was cold, suddenly it was because they needed to spray for ants. As if you can't plan to do that on any other day than the wedding I booked a year in advance (after rescheduling). It was a blatant lie. We were then told we would need to use the bridal suite that is now INSIDE THE WINERY. I was told no guests would be seated near the suites due to my complaints, but low and behold guests were seated directly outside the door and I was a zoo animal all afternoon. We also had an audience of strangers clapping during private moments. I was promised \"additional amenities\" for these issues and received nothing except a refund of less than $600 that was noted as an \"overpayment.\" During the wedding, the LOM staff were dazed and confused. We paid an enormous amount of money for an open bar and 2 hours into wedding they tried to change to a cash bar until my father had to tell all of the bartenders to knock it off. If you want a venue that ignores you, takes your money and lies straight to your face then this is the venue for you. My recommendation, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. Reviewed on 16-08-2021

Brittany B(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-04-2021 Throughout our engagement in working with Lake Oak Meadows, especially during the day of our event, we were severely disappointed with the level of service, communication, and professionalism exhibited by the staff. Had we fully known the type of experience we would have when signing a contract with Lake Oak Meadows, we would have thought twice about moving forward. There's more to the list below, but to reflect how this venue operates, I feel this is enough information to warn others. I had read before booking that LOM runs as a wedding mill - aka - once you sign the contract and you hand over your money, they really stop caring about your experience. Had it not been for our wedding Coordinator and family stepping up and the venue itself being beautiful, our wedding would have been a disaster.1.) Upon the second California stay-at-home orders issued in December 2021, Lake Oak Meadows made no effort to contact us regarding the suspension of business operations, and maintained that the venue was open for business on their public website. When we discovered by a bar tender working the tasting area in January that the venue was not conducting weddings, we made multiple efforts via phone and email to speak with anyone on the staff who could explain current circumstances. After several weeks without hearing back, we were finally told that the venue had indeed suspended holding weddings due to government policies, and it was Lake Oak Meadows' intent to call us 30 days prior to our event in order to discuss alternative dates for our event. That's not near enough time had we actually needed to move our event and tell guests of changes. 2.) Materials provided at the time we signed our contract stated that the winery would close to the public at 2pm on days when weddings were held, but the winery remained open to the public until 7pm on the day of our wedding along with live music hosted directly outside the bridesmaids and groomsmen suites. It interfered with us getting ready and the first look photos. 3.) Though our contract states that Lake Oak Meadows reserves the right to hold two events per day, again neither we nor our wedding coordinator were told there was a covid-pushed wedding scheduled for the morning of our event!!! They claimed that the morning wedding would have ended and the guests gone by 2pm, when she clearly had full knowledge that their contract lasted until 3pm. Also, the staff stated they would have additional clean up crews to flip the venue in time for our wedding. Despite these claim, the guests of the earlier event remained on site after 3pm, and the parents and siblings of the groom had to personally clean-up the ceremony site, remove flowers and linen from the arch, move chairs, and clear tables in order to begin setting up decor for our wedding. After the backup date was chosen the venue informed us that the wedding could happen on the original date, this year in July. Vanessa Corona(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2019 Our wedding was an absolute fairytale. LOM is a gorgeous wedding venue, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the place was. As soon as we walked on the property, my husband and I fell in love. There is something so magical about that place. We loved that the venue was all inclusive. We thought we wanted more freedom at first, but after everything was said and done, it made everything much easier. The staff were communicative and friendly from beginning to end. The food was great! Our guests loved the food, and the service staff were very attentive. Thank you Temecula Catering! Our cake from Bo Cakes was absolutely delicious! We did not have any leftover. Angela was the best coordinator. She understood my vision and made it come to life! I highly recommend LOM!!!! Oh and the wine was delicious!!! Amanda McLaughlin(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2019 Our wedding was on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 430-930. If youâre looking for an (almost) all inclusive venue in Southern California, this is definitely a great option. Itâs affordable and takes a great amount of stress out of gathering and coordinating with other vendors such as a DJ, caterer, and bakery. The vendors they currently use that serviced our wedding was:Dj -Good time DJ servicesCaterer -Temecula CateringBakery -BoCakes BakeryAll included vendors were kind and professional. The taste testing with the caterer provided generous portions. The food was above average and the guests didnât have any complaints (we had an intimate wedding of 55 guests and most of them would have felt more than comfortable to let us know if the food was bad hahah). The cake was just as delicious and fresh on the day of the wedding as it was when we did the taste testing. The DJ, Mike, was very professional and kind and completed a playlist that accurately depicted our taste in music and the vibes we wanted throughout the night. But the one person who singlehandedly made our wedding day go seamlessly was our coordinator, Angela. On the wedding day she was calm, cool and collected. She knew how to present last minute situations where decisions needed to be made, all without causing a panic or fuss. She was professional when interacting with the outside vendors (florist and photographer). Overall she was quick to respond to questions/emails the whole time leading up to the wedding. Angela is the customer service backbone to Lake Oak Meadows. I gave four stars because this venue definitely made for a beautiful and memorable wedding, but there were a few areas ready for improvement. The length of the wedding could be a little longer. It is 5 hours in length, so if you start at 430 it will end at 930. Also the venue does not possess a liquor license so to get around this they have substituted with rice liqour called âsojuâ. It wasnât a deal breaker but looking back and taking a poll from our guests (who didnât know it wasnât the typical vodka or whiskey) it seems to be less potent and less flavored. The office staff was professional most of the time, but a âcoldâ kind of professional. They could also lay off the ârules and waiversâ forms, especially the week before the wedding. Itâs definitley a buzzkill to be sent a list of redundant rules to sign and initial the week before your wedding(especially since Iâm sure these rules were already agreed to upon contract signing 10 months prior). A couple times I had called to upgrade the buffet and bar packages, and a rude and haggard voiced woman answered and made me feel stupid. I thought it was pretty uncool because people literally spend thoundands if dollars for one day at their business. But whatever, I got what I needed and thankfully you donât have to deal with the office people very often.Bottom line:I would definitely plan our wedding here again if we could do it all over. I recommend this venue for the quality of the vendors, the beautiful landscape, and the amazing coordinator that they provided. Reviewed on 18-10-2019
Candie Hillary Gullett(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-05-2019 Lake Oak Meadows, you make me wish I could relive my wedding day over and over again! From the moment we booked to the moment we left for our honeymoon directly for the venue on our wedding night, the LOM team treated us like we were royalty. LOM was actually the first venue I looked at and just like when I knew my husband was the one, I knew this venue was the one before I physically even saw it. The outdoor venue is breathtaking. My wedding day was more than I could I have ever expected and it couldn't have happened without this magical place. If you are considering booking LOM, DONâT WAIT, they book days incredibly rapidly and you donât want to be in a situation where you miss out on the day you want you or even the venue as a whole. Tessa Morgan, thank you for being there every step of our journey and for going out of your way to come in on your day off just to see Corey and I on our wedding day. Hayley, thank you for not only helping me plan/ coordinate/ setup my wedding but for helping me plan our honeymoon. Ashwini Mate(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-01-2019 The venue was truly beautiful! It was cold, but the tent worked great with the blower heater... and because it was a clear tent with a chandelier - it was perfect, you got both indoor glam and outdoor glam!Everyone commented on the food and how good it was (which surprised me because I just thought it was average wedding food from our tasting. I was too busy running around to eat too much the day of.) And the wine was DELICIOUS. I made sure I drank that. My only critique is that because of how big my wedding was, the tables were a bit crowded under the tent - but the venue was so large, people JUST sat down to eat and were otherwise milling about everywhere, which was just lovely and fun! I didn't expect to so fully enjoy my wedding, and I literally LOVED ALL OF IT! Reviewed on 02-03-2019
Carmen Kattan(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-12-2018 TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The information you get in the amazing sales pitch is that this place runs like clockwork -- you have nothing to worry about and you are getting a great service. What we discovered through our experience is that this place IS a wedding mill. They have hundreds of weddings a year so you will not get special treatment. It doesn't matter how many times you speak to them they still don't know anything about you and don't care.I had my wedding there in December, and was completely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and with the unwillingness of this business to take responsibility. The issues:In the weeks prior they sent me emails with charges for things that were included in the contract only to backtrack when disputed. The staff is super disorganized kids and you have to call and email multiple times to get answers to questions as they're pretty lax about responding. On the day of the wedding they charged my card without authorization for a payment they didn't explain.Despite a guarantee that their tent would be 70 degrees because we paid for a powerful blow heater, they forgot that they needed propane and started to bring in individual heaters as people were having dinner while freezing. Freezing guests are prone to go home as early as possible and to not stay to celebrate. The staff took expensive whisky bottles that were gifts from the grooms suite because it's their policy. They forgot to transport us back after the wedding. They had the wrong signage for the last call causing people to not be able to get drinks in time. They already give you only 5 hours. The wedding coordinator is nowhere to be found in case of an actual problem as she goes home when the party starts.Sadly, when you bring these issues up to them, their answer is to deny that anything went wrong or give you fake apologies, depending on the issue. So in sum, if you need a venue that is run professionally, or cares about your concerns, this is not the place. The setup at LOM is simple and well laid out and the features make everything stunning. They had everything we wanted and from the moment we first walked around the venue, we saw ourselves taking our vows there. Our wedding guests all agreed as we've heard non-stop over the past week how beautiful our ceremony and reception was. Rebecca Whiteaker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-04-2018 Everything was perfect, and I mean PERFECT. We have literally zero complaints or suggestions for the venue. We booked the Thursday All-Inclusive Package and when they say all-inclusive, it means you basically need to buy a dress, find an officiant, and get some flowers - because all the other big details, are taken care of by them. From the moment you step onto the property, there is this \"wow\" moment, and it stays with you the entire time you are at the venue. The ceremony location is breathtaking, and we did our engagement photos on site as well, and I swear - we couldn't have picked a more beautiful venue. The reception location is absolutely dreamy - when the lights come on as the sun goes down, and the lake and fountain FIRES (yes, fires) are lit, all the guests were in awe. You feel like you are in a dreamland. The venue takes such pride and care in the grounds, they are constantly replanting flowers or making improvements. Every single one of our guests (not kidding, every single one of them) told us how beautiful our wedding was. We honestly didn't do much in terms of extra decorations, etc. because you don't need to with the location and grounds being so perfect and breathtaking.ALL of the staff at LOM were so great to work with. Everyone was there to make sure that your day was turning out just how you wanted it. They were clear about what was included in the package, gave suggestions on what other brides had done, and the whole \"planning\" process was extremely smooth. My day-of Coordinator, Hayley, was such a blessing to us. She helped us with all of our questions, took care of everything on the day-of, so that we could sit back and revel in the best day of our lives. All of the event staff was so friendly and everyone had a huge smile. Dana Backlund(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-02-2018 Over all great experience, even tho I ended up having some last minute problems with the venue regarding pricing. With over a year engagement and a year in advance venue choice, we ran into some problems with the original agreed upon price for what we were getting. The venue called me a couple days or so before the wedding and offered me an upgrade for lights/chandeliers etc in the tent. What I was told I was getting a year ago was not remembered or apparently written down (remember to have everything in writing and understood completely), but they ended up being totally helpful and understanding, and set up exactly what I needed for it. I donât think they ended up charging me extra. Haley, from the coordinator staff was extremely helpful year round. The venue was beautiful and I could not recommend it more! Itâs spread out reception space and ceremony area was exactly what I wanted and we didnât even have to change venues for it, but you still get the feeling that you are in a different place. The food was TO DIE FOR. I did the buffet and it went very smoothly and everyone loved our BBQ food. Dancing room is very fun. The clear tent for winter is to die for. The bar and grass area makes for a fun space for guests along with the fire pits and dancing room. You will not regret choosing this space. I got married in feb 2018. I had my wedding in August 2017 and I got so many compliments from my guests on how beautiful and how seamless the wedding went. The staff at Lake Oak is so accommodating, so helpful, and so kind! I lucked out because the whole summer has been hot and literally the day before our wedding the temperature was in the 90s but on the day of our wedding, it went down 10 degrees and we got the most beautiful day out of it. The coordinator that they give you day of was an immense help to me and made our day amazing. The staff goes out of their way to see if we need anything and I couldn't have asked for a better day than what they gave me. The only bummer thing I have to say is that I unfortunately missed a few things during clean-up after our wedding and when I went to get it the next day they were gone. :/ But that's more my fault, then theirs. There were a lot of vendors included in our package which we'll talk about below. All of them were awesome!Venue: To start with, the actual venue is absolutely gorgeous. We booked about a year and a half in advance to save our date and in that time they made so many improvements. They are constantly upgrading and making everything even more beautiful and perfect than it already is. You think it can't get any better but it does. Lathena White(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2016 The venue is gorgeous!!! breathtaking! And we're happy we went here. But there were few things that really bothered me just by principal and I don't personally believe is good business. My wedding was amazing, don't get me wrong! Everything was beautiful, the coordinator & staff were great and the DJ Mike was fantastic! But I was a bit annoyed because we had sent our friends who are getting married to them and they ended up booking their wedding for next Sept. But when they booked they were offered an additional hour ($900 value) for free. We were not offered that so naturally i called and asked for the same offer since we were already adding it to our contract and we were denied. Instead they've us the option for two other, lower priced add ons that I was not interested in at all. I just felt that was very unfair especially given the fact that the options were not add ons that we hadn't asked for. Rather that offering us additional lighting & whatever else it was, I feel like they should've given us the same incentive (extra hour) or waived one of the add ons that we HAD already signed up for. We paid the $900 for our extra hour and got free lighting that we didn't care to have while our friends got their hour for free...Whatever. Another thing that bothered me was that, they wouldn't give us a bottle of wine! I know it seems stupid, but when you're signing a 17k contract, you'd think they would be willing to pass you along a bottle to celebrate. Nope, they made us pay for the bottle at our contact signing. So I thought I'd try again for the actual wedding... for our ceremony celebration we nailed box shut with letters and 2 bottles of wine for our 10 & 20 year, and even though we paid for the open bar, they still charged us for both of the bottles! I mean it's only $50 a bottle and it really is not about the money. For me it's more about the principal of it all. You can't even offer a bottle of wine for the customers paying you nearly 20k AND referred you to make ANOTHER 20k?!? I've been in customer service 10+ years, and this seems pretty elementary to me. A little appreciation goes a long way! Any ways, that's all other than that everything was fantastic, the food was great and everyone keeps telling me that it was the best wedding food and most beautiful place ever! Reviewed on 06-12-2016

Business is more into making money than customer service, especially if they can make money from your misfortune. They tell you they work seamlessly with the caterer, but when you complain to either one, they bifurcate their responsibilities and blame each other. We had teenagers serving the guests, like Ronins without a leader. Working hard, but obviously on minimum wage and inexperienced. I tipped everyone including the kitchen staff twice the maximum amount suggested. Not their fault. In fact, the caterer actually shot back at me with an argumentative tone, as if the bad service was my fault !! The bride's mother didn't get her plate until 10 minutes after all the other 9 people on our table had received theirs. Never has a service oriented company talked to me like that. This venue was the beautiful site of my sister's wedding. Everything was so spectacular and I can't believe how smoothly everything went. The event staff, caterers, and wedding coordinator were all amazing and professional. I would highly recommend Lake Oak Meadows. Hillary H.(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-06-2015 My husband and I got married at Lake Oak Meadows June 19, 2015. This venue is amazing!! We fell in love with it when we toured it, and it was everything we had hoped for on our wedding day. The bridal and groom suites are perfect for getting ready, and the bride and her bridesmaids get to arrive with plenty of time to get ready in leisure. It made for a very relaxing and fun start to such a big day! After we arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The coordinator communicates with the rest of the staff at the venue, and keeps things running smoothly. The catering company this venue works with was WONDERFUL (I recommend a tasting... it is so fun!) and the food was great. We opted for the open bar, and our guests really enjoyed that. The DJ, Mike Shroyer, is great and kept the party fun. He is truly gifted at what he does, and you will not be disappointed. Lastly, we were so happy with the atmosphere and ambiance this venue allowed us and our guests to enjoy. The landscaping is flawless, and the natural beauty of the venue allows for a fairy tale like surrounding, which really comes across through photos. The lake and fountains light up when the sun goes down, and it makes for a very romantic setting. We were so pleased with Lake Oak Meadows, and feel lucky it was our wedding venue.! You get alot for what you pay for! I highly recommend it. Reviewed on 31-10-2015

Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2016 It was such a pleasure to have our wedding at Lake oak meadows. The staff was so easy to work with and kept in constant contact with me. The entire day ran so smoothly. To be able to arrive at one location and have everything from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception to honeymoon suite in the same place saves so much time for your program. I highly recommend the horse and carriage for an entrance. Our guests still can't stop talking about the wedding and how amazing everything was...especially the food. Thank you so much to the entire LOM staff and Angela our coordinator. It was a perfect day. Reviewed on 31-10-2015
Bennsey Johnson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-11-2014 This venue is STUNNING. All of the guests were raving about the scenery and upkeep of the venue. The fire pits were charming, and the ceremony site was gorgeous. My only comment about the site - the dance floor is awkwardly positioned, though I understand that it was built that way for noise regulations in the area.\r\rThe Lake Oak Meadows staff were kind, though my Venue Coordinator changed three different times during wedding planning. This was very frustrating, as the second and third replacements would e-mail me the same thing each time they introduced themselves to me. This made me think that no one was taking the time to even look at my file. Reviewed on 10-12-2014

I am personally a wedding coordinator, and cannot even begin to speak highly enough about Hayley. She made me feel 100% at ease the entire time. Let me tell you, working in the industry, I am very picky and know what to expect and am constantly in control over every detail over others weddings. Hayley had us at ease the entire time! We never once had to worry about any details.\r\rPrice/Value is unbelievable. I cannot even count the amount of people who raved over our beautiful venue! It truly was a fairy tale!\r\rCons:\rIt does take a while to get ahold of people at times in the venue.\r\rAdditionally, I had asked since we were short of our guest count if we could receive a couple complimentary heaters... I understand that we were short on our guest count, but due to the amount of business being brought in, I figured it would be a nice courtesy. Granted, if this had occurred, it would have been icing on the cake. We certainly were not expecting , nor entitled to this, but it would have been nice had it occurred. Reviewed on 30-04-2014

Seeing it in person made us book this place instantly. The staff is extremely friendly, the winery is gorgeous with many beautiful locations to take priceless photos, and the wine is delicious! All of our guests said they believed our wedding was the most beautiful they had seen and the grounds are large enough where guests can choose to sit in the courtyard, stroll the grounds, sit by a fire pit, or dance on the dance floor! No regrets whatsoever in choosing this location! It was affordable, with monthly installments, and staff were available always with any questions we had, up until the day before the wedding! The only con I would say is that drinks ended at 9:30 (Temecula law) and the music was turned down earlier than we would have liked (also Temecula law). Even with these cons, still wouldn't have chosen any other location elsewhere! You won't be disappointed in the least bit. Definitely recommend!!!!! Reviewed on 20-06-2013
Kelsey Stoten(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-05-2013 Lake Oak Meadows is a beautiful wedding venue. No doubt about it. One look at the place and I fell in love with it. Both the ceremony and reception are held outside in the most beautiful setting. Just perfect! My husband and I got married there in May. It was such a beautiful day and our wedding was absolutely perfect. \r\rThe caterer, Temecula Catering, is provided for you. The food was delicious and everyone we spoke with at the company was so friendly, helpful, and great to work with. We were very happy with them.\r\rThe DJ (also provided for you) is Mike from Good Times Entertainment. He was also really great to work with. Definitely knows what he's doing and kept our guests dancing throughout the night.\r\rHowever, the employees at LOM are difficult to get in contact with. They aren't great about returning phone calls or emails. All of the women were very friendly and accommodating when I drove the 45 minutes to visit them at the office (the only guaranteed way to get your questions answered). \r\rLuckily, our wedding was primarily DIY, low-key, and just very casual. Having said that, I didn't have TOO many questions or issues that made the delayed/lack of response from the venue unbearable. If you are planning on having a large, very detailed wedding where you will need a lot of contact with the venue working out details, etc., I could see this place just driving you crazy.\r\rWe had a few hiccups with the venue throughout our wedding planning but the few headaches were definitely worth it in the end. We adamantly expressed that we did not want hard alcohol sold at the bar and, yet, the day of the wedding hard alcohol was present. We didn't know this until the next, when a family informed us. Everytime I called to make a payment or for an update, I was speaking to someone new. \rI booked this venue almost 2 years in advance.. then, my wedding date got postponed and I gave them almost 1 year in a half notice asking to have my date changed and they still charged me a cacellation fee, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous! I was doing ceremony only, so it wasnt like they already had that date booked or they missed out on anything.\rI understand I was a ceremony only, but it seemed they didnt care about my event as much as the Evening wedding right after me. I was a client too and paid in full! The Day of was terrible. I was told a golf cart would pick me and my father and drive us up the hill, as my guests were arriving, however, that didnt happen. They were to busy with the other wedding, which wasnt set to start until 5:00, (mine was at 2:00)So needless to say I had to walk all the way up the hill and basically greet my guests as they were arriving.. Once I stumbled upon a photo of Lake Oak Meadows we traveled three hours to see it in person. I fell in love. It was slightly out of our price range and because we wanted to be married on a specific date we pushed our wedding off an entire year just to be able to have it here. Our on-site coordinator was changed about 4 timed throughout the course of this year which caused me some anxiety. Also some construction was being done and although I was promised fabric and up-lighting around the dance floor to cover it but when we arrived to the reception it was not done as promised. We opted for beer and wine to be served all night at no charge to our guest but thought there would be a liquor cash bar offered to those who wanted to pay but there was not. I thought that was strange. All in all, this is a fabulously beautiful venue but in my opinion management could be handled more professionally. Reviewed on 03-12-2011

Although they went through some changes towards the end things turned out ok. The dance floor was not what I expected, but it worked. We had great September weather. The girls there were somewhat helpful, but not always. They offer a great payment plan, instead of a giant payment. The sound system had improved GREATLY from other reviews I have read about. The grounds are beautifully kept. My only problem was the cobble stone around the venue. Not heel friendly. Got nothing but compliments about my wedding. The food for the next morning, not so good! The new honeymoon suite is beautiful and very convenient. A little over priced and I did not like the fact that the staff stayed so long after the reception. The venue provided a beautiful backdrop for photographs.\rThe owner, was incredible to work with and was accommodating to my requests and was able to tailor a package to my needs.\rLake Oak Meadows does require you to use their DJ and caterers which made us a little nervous, but they were both amazing. The vendor also give me a list of recommendations for a cake vendors, DJS, and even a caterer that have been at the site before and know how the weather gets. Steph Mueller(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2011 I chose Lake Oak Meadows because I wanted something all outdoors and it has absolutely beautiful gorunds. I booked it 9 months in advance. People were okay about communication thoughout, or so I thought until I went to take a look at how it was all set up a week before hand, just to see things for myself. Unbeknownst to me they had built a BUILDING over the outdoor dance floor and said that the dancing was supposed to be inside. It was one of those orange-ish colors that looks like a Panera. Yuck! They call it \"Tuscan\". The thing is that nobody even told me they were doing anything. AND it was under construction and not even done. Luckily, since it was unfinished, they let me put a portable dance floor outside and use the building for serving food so it worked out and my wedding still had dancing under the stars. Now that its done though, they make you use that for dancing which completely separates the wedding (and ruins the view of the lake during the ceremony). Really though, the worst part is that if I hadn't gone to see it the week before (just to look), I wouldn't have ever been told and I would have learned about it ON MY WEDDING DAY! And I would have been crushed since I wanted an all outdoor vendor. They didn't even try to appease us by offering any additional things for free to try to make up for it. It is definitely buyer beware with them. So, although I had a great wedding, I would never choose this vendor again. Reviewed on 11-09-2011
Melissa Ricketts(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-06-2011 Wow I really love my venue, it was outstandingly beautiful. It is extremely private and the staff is all curteous. The fire pits and lights at night transform the venue once the sun goes down. They include a \"month of\" wedding planner in their packages, I had Angela and it was such a nice relief to have her helping out at the end - asking me all the questions I hadn't thought of (despite reading several books) and ensuring my vendors were all on the same page.\r\rThe only negative about the venue was that the accountant made several errors over the course of the year leading up to the wedding which is frustrating and when we would try to correct them it would always seem to take a week or so to get back to us. I just recommend keeping a good eye on your invoices. Reviewed on 25-07-2011
