The minute my husband and I visited Lake of Isles for a tour and met Bethany, we instantly knew this was the venue! The venue itself is beautiful overlooking the lake and a perfect area for photos, but the inside is gorgeous and the room where I got married what perfect and intimate. Bethany is a whole other reason we loved that venue. She was SO helpful as a bride that had never planned anything in her life, Bethany ensured everything was taken care of, she was helpful, communicative, and fantastic to work with. We even cried together on my wedding day! The food was amazing my guests couldn’t stop talking about the meals and the wait staff and bar staff were super accommodating and everyone was just wonderful. I will recommend this venue to any new bride getting married!

Bethany and her team are amazing! My husband and I got married in September but had been planning for a while, Bethany kept me on track the whole way! The venue is breathtaking and we are still getting rave reviews months later from our relatives and friends! The food was also flawless and the waitstaff was impeccable. Another helpful part of the process was the bridal expo! Getting to sample from the cake vendors helped make our decision easier. We couldn't have found a more beautiful place to take pictures than here!! The lake of isles was also very kid friendly. We loved everything about the venue and the staff!!

My husband and I got married at Lake of Isles 9/22/23 and it was seamless! The entire wedding planning process from start to finish was made so much easier because of Bethany, she is extremely responsive, helpful, and on top of everything. Even though she is assisting with multiple weddings at once, she makes it feel like your wedding is her main focus which was amazing! We knew our own ending was in great hands. Come wedding day it was no surprise that it went off without a hitch due to Fox, Bethany, and their team at this venue. The food came out quick and was delicious, the decorations were all in place, and it felt like we were truly taken care of the entire night. On top of this, the venue itself is beautiful from the outside space to inside. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

My husband and I got married at Lake of Isles 9/22/23 and it was seamless! She is very organized and quick to respond/change plans no matter how late the notice. Her documentation really keeps you on track when planning a large wedding. She was also willing to allow you to borrow supplies already included at the venue which helps to save in overall costs. I really enjoyed the time with her and how she made me feel like a best friend, not just a client. Like I said before, there are only a few things I am ever sure about in life....my husband and Bethany. Day of, it was also great to have her (a familiar face) there to welcome us and show us everything before guests arrived. She also had all items we wanted for photos ready to go and had every detail set up or moved around, again, because she has the best eye. We love you and hope to visit again soon!

We got married at Lake of Isles on 11/3/2023 and cannot recommend this venue enough. The entire process, from our initial meeting to picking up our decorations they day after, was completely seamless. We were immediately comfortable and confident that Lake of Isles was the venue we wanted to get married at upon meeting Bethany at our initial meeting. She is personable, organized and so kind. She was an amazing resource throughout the planning process and couldn't have imagined working with anyone else. Fox, who was the event coordinator, was also so amazing. He was organized, professional and kept the event on schedule to ensure we had maximum time on the dance floor. The pricing was so fair for everything that was included - from the open bar to our wedding cake, everything was included in the per person price - it was truly a full package that took so many steps out of the planning process. We had such an amazing time.

We got married at Lake of Isles on 10/28/23. The entire planning process from day 1 has been extremely easy and seamless. We had 167 guests and this venue was absolutely perfect for a wedding of this size & then some. We got married out on the lake front deck and it was absolutely stunning. The pricing is EXTREMELY fair for what is included. Guests under 21 were a lesser price even with having the adult meal option. Bethany, the behind the scenes coordinator of it all was so extremely helpful and knowledgable while we were planning our wedding. During our first meeting with her I knew I didn't want to plan a wedding with anyone else. She made so many helpful suggestions, and was extremely communicative through it all. The wedding package is priced per person but includes so much more than just their food & drink. It includes 1 night free at Foxwoods in a suite room, delicious wedding cake, set-up & breakdown of all personal decor items, linens, & MORE! The pricing of this venue was very appealing & I seriously could not imagine getting married anywhere else. Fox, our day-of coordinator who also helped with the rehearsal was so kind and made me as a very nervous bride feel very calm & relaxed. I pray a friend of ours can get married here just so we can come to a wedding here again. The food was excellent & the timeline of a sit down dinner was so perfect. Other venues I have been a guest at go way slower for seated dinners, so I was VERY pleased with the service. If you get married here, you will NOT regret it.

We tied the knot at Lake of Isles on 10/20/23, and our experience was absolutely incredible. We couldn't be happier with the entire planning process and how our wedding day unfolded! Bethany played a pivotal role, offering exceptional assistance with warmth and unwavering responsiveness. She took the time to get to know us, putting us completely at ease. We genuinely believe we received more than our money's worth.We were on the lookout for a venue that offered a comprehensive array of services, so we could minimize the number of vendors and locations we needed to manage. At Lake of Isles, we held our rehearsal dinner, first look, portraits, ceremony, and reception—all under one roof. Additionally, they provided catering and an open bar. The package even included a wedding cake, with a choice of a few bakeries, a feature we truly appreciated. Bethany guided us through all the intricate details, helping structure our day. Fox ran our rehearsal exceptionally and ensured a seamless wedding and reception.The venue itself is nothing short of stunning. We had our first look and portraits on the picturesque bridge. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony on the deck, and I was pretty nervous when I saw rain in the forecast the week of our wedding. When I inquired about the process for deciding on an indoor ceremony due to inclement weather, Bethany assured us that they work closely with the DJ and make the call as late as possible. Fortunately, we were able to have our ceremony outdoors, and I was moved by the sight of the staff diligently wiping down chairs on my way to the first look. It couldn't have been a more breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony.The evening flowed seamlessly, and we received numerous compliments on the timing of events, from the cocktail hour to the dance floor opening. For those with a larger guest count, I strongly recommend hosting the cocktail hour in the tavern downstairs. Initially, we weren't planning to, but I'm so glad we did. It offers more space than the foyer and has a lovely patio area. The ballroom is both spacious and gorgeously designed. With around 170 guests, the floor plan Bethany devised made the room feel full but not overcrowded. They truly know how to orchestrate events here. And let's not forget the food—we received countless compliments, with many guests dubbing it the best wedding meals they've ever had. We were also treated to a delightful pre-wedding tasting experience.It's worth mentioning that the venue went above and beyond to accommodate our older guests and those with mobility issues. They have an elevator on-site, and they even transported guests down to the deck in golf carts as needed.When the night concluded, the staff efficiently packed up and handled the breakdown, including our decorations and cake topper. The following day, when we went to collect our belongings, we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had also packed up our leftover meals. We wholeheartedly recommend Lake of Isles!

She really got to know us and our parents, explained everything and answered all of our questions regardless of how small. The dining and beverage packages were also so great for what we wanted. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about our food, from cocktail hour, salad, dinner, cake and our late night pizza and sliders. They have plenty of options available to customize your menu to what suits you best! The lakefront deck where we had our ceremony was so beautiful, it created the perfect fall backdrop for our pictures. The deck has power so we were able to have our DJ play music for our ceremony, it honestly was everything we ever dreamed of!Bethany, Fox and the waitstaff/team paid so much attention to all of the small details and prioritized our needs. Fox kept in contact with me the whole night to make sure everything went according to plan. The waitstaff always made sure we had food and drinks at all times! After dinner was complete, the ballroom transformed into an absolute dance party, which is exactly what we wanted! It was the best night of my husband and I's life, and it wouldn't have been made possible without Bethany, Fox and the LOI team!

I can't describe our wedding at Lake of Isles as anything short of amazing. From the beautiful dockside view during the ceremony, to the rustic tavern for cocktail hour, and finally the spacious reception hall, I've already gotten multiple reports that our wedding was the best some of our guests have been to. Bethany and Fox were a dream team of wedding coordinators. If I had a question on a Saturday morning they were there to answer. They cared so much about making our wedding day perfect I honestly wouldn't look anywhere else. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the planning process was amazing. Just to give you an example of the service you receive with Bethany, on our final wedding meeting evening she set up a complimentary dinner downstairs for us because she could tell we were running around. We felt like family there and from everyone I talked to, nobody would change once single thing about the wedding. Please book here you won't regret it.

We were married at Lake of Isles on 8/18 and it was an overall perfect day! I’m sad our whole planning process is over because we honestly loved working with Bethany and the LOI team. Bethany is top notch and is completely on top of the planning process leading up to the big day. She is fantastic at what she does. Our day of coordinator Fox was wonderful as well and very attentive. We can’t say enough about the service we received. From start to finish our day ran SO smoothly. We loved having the suite to get ready in at Foxwoods and having a hotel room block at Foxwoods for our guests. Good choices and quality were great and portions were large. We added in the ice sculpture/vodka luge for cocktail hour and that was a big hit with our guests. Overall, not only is Lake of Isles a stunning venue— it also offers top notch quality and customer service for your big day!

We were married at Lake of Isles on 8/18 and it was an overall perfect day! I’m sad our whole planning process is over because we honestly loved working with Bethany and the LOI team. Everything, from the first tour with Bethany, to picking up the decorations the day after the wedding was amazing. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. I am a bit of an over planner and Bethany's patience with my million questions was nothing short of saintly. Everyone we worked with at LOI was extremely friendly, easy to talk to and quick to offer help and hospitality. Joe and Justin behind the bar were so fun and nice. Cindy, our personal wait staff, was so sweet and quick to make sure the bride always had a drink in her hand. We even got to see Cindy the day after our wedding, as she was getting ready for another wedding, and she made a point to come say hi. Fox, the banquet manager, went above and beyond his call of duty, treating each one of our family members with care and kindness. We feel so lucky to have had LOI all in charge of our special day. We've each been a part of our fair share of weddings before our own. We've seen many different venues and experienced many different levels of quality or lack thereof. We can easily say ours was the best and easiest wedding to be a part of and it was in no small part thanks to the staff at LOI.

Bethany was professional, meticulous, and organized as she helped us plan our day and coordinated all of our wedding reception details. We got married at Lake of Isles in May of 2023 and I could not recommend it enough! We worked with Bethany and she is absolutely amazing. The venue is beautiful and has great package options for the guests. All of our guests raved about how good the food and drinks were. We even had a Chinese food buffet for a late night snack! Bethany and her team made the planning process so smooth and easy. She was very accommodating to every request and question we had. I highly recommend Lake of Isles.

There will never be enough words to describe how much we loved Lake of Isles as the venue for our entire wedding day. From the ceremony on the dock to the reception in the Pequot Ballroom, it was by far the best day of our lives. Bethany, Fox and the team at Lake of Isles could not have done a better job in the 13 months it took to plan this wedding. From touring the venue for me via Zoom as I was living in Hawaii, to helping remove grass stains from my dress before the ceremony, there is no better wedding coordinator than Bethany. I was always told this position solely looks out for the venue itself, but Bethany always had our best interest in mind and wanted to achieve what we envisioned. She could not have made this process easier. Bethany really gave us room to make this wedding our goal with little customizations here and there. The most fun being instead of doing a wedding cake, their bakery made us a tiramisu, our favorite dessert! My now-husband was deployed and out of contact most of the planning and I don’t think I could’ve planned our day without Bethany’s guidance.The venue is beyond stunning, especially in the Fall and our guests could not stop taking pictures because they loved it so much.The food was incredible from cocktail hour to the dessert. There was something for everyone and we appreciated how many options they had. Their staff, especially our attendant Abby, ensured we got to try everything, especially since we missed most of cocktail hour due to taking many photos. We never were without something we wanted.I can’t think of a better place to have a wedding. Lake of Isles as it all! I can’t wait to go back and visit and this place will always hold a special space in our hearts.

Stop what you're doing...visit and book this venue now! My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue, day and team at Lake of Isles! We actually did not have a formal visit to Lake of Isles due to my husband and I's work schedules. My parents visited and met with Sheila (Director of Catering prior to Bethany). My parents had great things to say about the venue, so my husband and I ended up going there and walking around one afternoon. We knew once we got to Lakes of Isles, it was the venue we were supposed to get married at. It was a nice mix of being on the water which is what I wanted and the rustic feel that my husband wanted. We booked this venue in 2019 with plans of a September 2020 wedding. When plans had to change, Bethany didn't even flinch and secured our September 2021 date for us. It was common for me to email Bethany at 11:00 pm with questions along the way and Bethany was so prompt in her responses back and happy to help with everything. Everyone needs a \"Bethany '' in their wedding planning journey - truly could not have asked for a better person to help us along the way and truly make this journey and day so special for us! She made us feel like we were lifelong friends! Bethany was even our meteorologist on the day of our wedding. It was raining in the afternoon, and she came into the Bridal Suite and said if you are alright with pushing the ceremony for another 20-30 minutes, I think we can still do the ceremony on the deck. She does it all! A year later, my husband and I are still getting compliments about the wedding from guests saying it was one of the best weddings they have been to and asking when we are going to get married again! :) The staff is absolutely wonderful - from the bartenders, wait staff, the Banquet Manager, our personal waiter/waitress - you can really tell they love their jobs. The food was amazing and of course the ice cream bar was a must! Honestly, we cannot recommend Lake of Isles and Bethany enough - it is the ultimate wedding venue!

We got married at LOI in July and it was perfection! When we met Bethany, she was a large part of the reason we chose the venue. She was organized and so pleasant - we instantly felt confident she would make the wedding a success and we were right. She was always easy to reach and happy to help. Kyle was our day-of coordinator for both our rehearsal dinner at Matches Tavern and for the ceremony/reception and is truly the greatest. He was on top of every detail, we never worried about anything those two days. He and Cindy (our wonderful attendant) were so much fun and made us feel very well taken care of. The food was fantastic - we got multiple comments from guests and our almond cake from Scrumptions was a crowd favorite. Guests are still mentioning it! Honestly, from start to finish, this was the best event planning experience. One guest asked 'how we found this gem of a venue' and another even commented \"I don't know why you'd get married anywhere else\". We completely agree - between Bethany, Kyle, Cindy and the venue amenities - we wouldn't get married anywhere else!

She was prompt in responding to anything I asked for, supported my family in all ideas and needs, and made connections with us that made us feel like we were lifelong friends! She is one in a million. We met Kyle (our day of coordinator) during our wedding week. He immediately took charge and ensured that everything would be as perfect as we planned with Bethany. And it was. He was consistently in every corner making sure the evening went exactly how we hoped. Especially making sure that my special 'man dance' went smoothly and located each participant with ease (not knowing a single one). Kyle was fantastic! For drinks, we got reviews of our bridal drink being the tastiest margarita they have ever had! And food came out delicious. We even got to take home the extra pizza and donuts from our evening enhancements. If we could throw a party at this venue annually we would. It was a superior experience and worth every penny.

Wedding venue of our dreams. My husband and I knew our wedding was going to be perfect because we were marrying each other, but somehow Lake of Isles surpassed our vision of perfection. The venue itself is breathtaking. My husband wanted a golf course and I wanted water, this venue had it all. We had our ceremony on the lake front, which was totally worth the upgrade! We booked Lake of Isles a year and a half before our wedding date, and for that entire time, Bethany answered all my emails with urgency and truly made me feel like the most important person she was talking to. Now more than ever, it is hard to find someone who truly wants to help you every step of the way. Bethany is the reason I was so calm about wedding planning, while I was hearing horror stories about wedding planning around me. Bethany gave me honesty and reliability, two important characteristics for any bride planning her wedding. She made everything enjoyable for us and we had full confidence that our wedding day was going to be everything we had wished for. On our wedding day, Kyle was our day of coordinator. If Bethany was our quarterback, Kyle was our running back and she handed Kyle our wedding like a football, and ladies and gentleman, it was a touchdown. Starting at our rehearsal, Kyle made sure we rehearsed our ceremony a couple times, three times to be exact, but that was exactly what we needed. On our wedding night, it was like second nature going through everything and we were able to focus on each other and have all the feels as we vow our lives together. He knew exactly what to say and do to make everyone feel calm and for everything to run smoothly. As far as food, we used Lake of Isles for our rehearsal dinner and of course the night of our wedding, both meals were delicious! Our guests still talk about how great it was! Wedding venue of our dreams. My husband and I knew our wedding was going to be perfect because we were marrying each other, but somehow Lake of Isles surpassed our vision of perfection. The venue itself is breathtaking. My husband wanted a golf course and I wanted water, this venue had it all. We had our ceremony on the lake front, which was totally worth the upgrade! We booked Lake of Isles a year and a half before our wedding date, and for that entire time, Bethany answered all my emails with urgency and truly made me feel like the most important person she was talking to. Now more than ever, it is hard to find someone who truly wants to help you every step of the way. Bethany is the reason I was so calm about wedding planning, while I was hearing horror stories about wedding planning around me. Bethany gave me honesty and reliability, two important characteristics for any bride planning her wedding. She made everything enjoyable for us and we had full confidence that our wedding day was going to be everything we had wished for. On our wedding day, Kyle was our day of coordinator. If Bethany was our quarterback, Kyle was our running back and she handed Kyle our wedding like a football, and ladies and gentleman, it was a touchdown. Starting at our rehearsal, Kyle made sure we rehearsed our ceremony a couple times, three times to be exact, but that was exactly what we needed. On our wedding night, it was like second nature going through everything and we were able to focus on each other and have all the feels as we vow our lives together. He knew exactly what to say and do to make everyone feel calm and for everything to run smoothly. As far as food, we used Lake of Isles for our rehearsal dinner and of course the night of our wedding, both meals were delicious! Our guests still talk about how great it was! We cannot thank Bethany and the team at Lake of Isles enough; they made our wedding planning easy, took care of all the set up and take down, and made the day happen without a hitch! The location is absolutely breathtaking and my now husband and I fell in love with the location upon first sight; Bethany made it extremely easy to jump on and say “yes” to getting married here. Throughout the whole process Bethany was always very responsive and transparent; we are so grateful to have had her on our team. Something that we really wanted was to get married outside and in the process of finding a place we knew we’d have to be happy with the alternative “just in case” - the ballroom is incredible and the giant windows help bring the outside in. When we first walked into the ballroom I turned to my now husband and told him “I’d be okay getting married inside if it was here.” Which was good because we got an unfortunately cold and windy/rainy day and the inside setup was perfect and made my guests very comfortable! The other big item that Lake of Isles takes care of is the catering; let me tell you this food is INCREDIBLE - I totally savored every bite! The whole day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for better!

The moment I walked into Lake of Isles, it felt like our wedding, even though it was months and months (and then a whole pandemic) away. This was the second venue my husband visited with me and the moment he stepped inside he felt the same as I did the first time. This was our venue, and we both knew it! Picturing our entrance into the ballroom, how we would have it decorated, and the guests dancing the night away. The views are breathtaking from the outside deck, the ballroom is gorgeous, and the rustic fireplace at the entry is incredible. But what truly makes this place so magical is the staff. Bethany, Barbara, Cindy and all the staff that were there to help make our day so special. The staff was so professional, organized and so helpful. I cannot express enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue to check this place out. The venue itself is beautiful from when you walk into a cozy library fireplace room, to the beautiful ball room with high old train station ceiling feels. If you are looking to have your ceremony and reception in the same place, this is a wonderful spot for just that. Guests were able to relax in the downstairs tavern and patio area before the ceremony, when it was time they were escorted to a deck that extended over a beautiful lake. If you’re lucky enough like we were, you may even have deer in the background making your day even more magical. After the ceremony, guests are able to go right into the reception banquet room and to their seats where appetizers we choose were passed around to tables. The room is the perfect size to see everyone from your seat, and also large enough to have plenty of space to dance and move. After the reception is over if you are not ready for your day to end, you are 3 minutes from Foxwoods Casino! We had over 50 guest rooms booked there, and were able to stay in our wedding clothes and bump into our guests over and over again at the casino ! We even had the opportunity to play a few slots in our wedding dress & suit. It was so nice to keep the night going, staying in the Fox Tower hotel & then being able to see everyone all over again the next morning :) The staff at Lake of Isles is even better than the actual location and building, which is hard to beat. The staff member who prepares you for your day, in our case her name was Bethany, ends up getting to know you so well and communicating with you so much that they feel like a friend. I am a teacher, I had a lot of questions in getting prepared for the wedding and I know I over emailed. Bethany never once made me feel like I was emailing too much or bothering her with questions I probably could have answered myself looking on the website. I was so thrilled she was even able to see us off on our wedding day, because as I said she really came to feel like a friend to us. The staff is organized, professional and attentive to who you are and what your vision is for the wedding. I am gluten free and they went above and beyond to be sure that there were so many options for me as well from the first appetizers to the desserts, and even a special birthday donut bowl surprise. My glass was never empty and there was nothing I was ever wondering about, questioning or wanting. With the top notch staff, venue and location I highly suggest any couple getting married to look into The Lake of Isles @ Foxwoods.

I cannot express enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue to check this place out. The venue itself is beautiful from when you walk into a cozy library fireplace room, to the beautiful ball room with high old train station ceiling feels. If you are looking to have your ceremony and reception in the same place, this is a wonderful spot for just that. Guests were able to relax in the downstairs tavern and patio area before the ceremony, when it was time they were escorted to a deck that extended over a beautiful lake. If you’re lucky enough like we were, you may even have deer in the background making your day even more magical. After the ceremony, guests are able to go right into the reception banquet room and to their seats where appetizers we choose were passed around to tables. The room is the perfect size to see everyone from your seat, and also large enough to have plenty of space to dance and move. We loved working with the Lake of Isles team. Bethany was our coordinator, and we couldn't imagine a better experience. She was honestly one of the biggest reasons we picked the location, as she was super organized, consultative, friendly, responsive, hospitable, and reliable. Our wedding day was everything that we dreamed it would be because of this location and the staff that works with you when you book here. The Director of Catering that we worked closely with to plan our day, Bethany, was the sweetest, most organized woman ever! She was always willing to answer all of my crazy questions and would respond in a very timely manner. She was willing to go above and beyond to tell all the options that were available for you to make your special day happen (even in the pandemic!). I honestly feel like Bethany is the perfect person for the position that she has at Lake of Isles because she made me feel so calm and organized leading up to our wedding day. As for the venue itself, it is gorgeous both inside and out!! We got married 11/7/20 and there were still some leaves on the trees and some sun on the dock to make for gorgeous pictures! The ballroom was very spacious so that no tables were on top of one another, however everything was close enough to make it like an intimate gathering. Plus, there was lots of room for dancing!! The food was the most delicious food ever (both the passed apps and the main course). Barbara was the bridal attendant in charge of my husband and myself for the night. She was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure we were taken care of throughout the night. Overall, you should definitely book Lake of Isles for your venue if you want the most beautiful and perfect wedding day possible!

Choosing Lake of Isles as our wedding venue was the best decision that we made through this wedding planning process. Our wedding was originally supposed to be on April 25th but was postponed due to COVID-19. Through the panic of postponing our wedding twice, Bethany at Lake of Isles is an absolute sweetheart and was always there to calm me down whether it was through 75 back to back emails or 75 back to back phone calls. I truly don’t believe we would’ve had a wedding at all if it wasn’t for Bethany and her incredible team. We were originally going to be married in a church but the church closed down, Lake of Isles let us change ceremony locations last minute and organized the whole thing on their beautiful lake front deck. Bethany and Barbara paid attention to every little detail and didn’t miss a beat when it came time to put it altogether. I honestly didn’t have to do much work, they did it all for me. Our wedding day was seamless and as stress free as it could have possibly been and I couldn’t recommend this venue more. On our wedding day we were lucky enough to work with Cindy who brought us drinks and took care of us all night. My husband walked off the ceremony site saying “I’m thirsty” and 10 seconds later he had a drink in his hand. We were also lucky enough to work with Joe who was the bartender at our wedding and everyone loved him! I have been getting non stop compliments from my guests about how amazing the staff was and how amazing the food was. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding even through a pandemic and having to downsize, it was the absolute best day of my life and I truly owe it all to this incredible venue!

Call me bias bc it’s my own but by far the most fun and stress free wedding I’ve ever been to! Thanks to Sheila and Bethany the day way beyond perfect for us. They were on point setting up all the decorations and were there to answer any questions or accommodate any last minute things like giving my niece a cheeseburger instead of the chicken fingers so she would actually eat dinner. I have no complaints what so ever and everything was flawless with planning with this venue. The off season package deal was amazing with what was included and the venue itself was just beautiful over all. We had crappy weather so it limited us to inside for photos but I don’t have any doubts that they will be gorgeous with the fireplaces and bookshelves they have. Call me bias bc it’s my own but by far the most fun and stress free wedding I’ve ever been to! Thanks to Sheila and Bethany the day way beyond perfect for us. They were on point setting up all the decorations and were there to answer any questions or accommodate any last minute things like giving my niece a cheeseburger instead of the chicken fingers so she would actually eat dinner. I have no complaints what so ever and everything was flawless with planning with this venue. If I could give Lake of Isles 10 stars... I would! I cannot say enough good things about Lake of Isles, Sheila, and Bethany (and Melissa, our server!). Everyone was so incredibly attentive the entire night, and made our wedding more than we could have dreamed. Sheila was so easy to get a hold of the entire year+ leading up to our wedding, and kindly answered any and all emails. We loved working with both Sheila and Bethany, as they made the process so easy and smooth for us. Everything was absolutely impeccable. My husband Dave and I got married at Lake of Isles in June. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and we are so glad we chose to have our wedding there. Right from day one, Sheila was amazing to work with. She was professional but extremely friendly, and she made us feel like the only couple she was working with. Any time we had a question, she responded quickly and was willing to work with us on anything to make our day perfect. Bethany was an amazing day of coordinator and handled every single thing that came up on our wedding day. We appreciated her ability to take on all our decorations and my long list of decorations and set up tasks, in addition to managing our wedding day without breaking a sweat. There was an issue with one of our guests, and we weren't informed about it until after the wedding. It meant a lot to us that she allowed us to enjoy our wedding without getting distracted by things like that. She also reminded us to eat and helped me take a deep breath right before walking down the aisle. These two ladies are amazing and we couldn't be more grateful for their involvement in our wedding.The food at Lake of Isles is delicious. Our guests enjoyed the filet mignon and the chicken filled with brie and chicken. People are still talking about how good the food was. They also enjoyed the drinks from the open bar and our late night snacks!If we could do it all over again, we would definitely choose Lake of Isles for our wedding venue. The lakefront deck is an absolutely gorgeous spot for your ceremony (with Betty Allard!) and the ballroom is stunning with that wooden ceiling and the added touch of the gold chiavari chairs. It was truly a fairytale wedding!

The only way to describe our experience at Lake of Isles is perfection. I began planing my August 2019 wedding in January 2019. I thought it was nearly impossible to plan a wedding in 8 months but the team at Lake of Isles made it not only possible, but a true pleasure. From the beginning to the end, our wedding was even better than our wildest dreams. The director of catering, Sheila Graham, is truly exceptional. Her calm, poised, and professional demeanor impressed us upon our first interaction with her at our tour. She is extremely responsive and helpful. Sheila and her team were always one step ahead of us in predicting and fulfilling our every want and need. It seemed that whenever I spoke to Sheila, my stresses and worries with wedding planning just melted away. On our wedding day, Sheila was there to wish us well and turn over duties to the general manager, Chris, and head waitress, Melissa. Chris and Melissa were also exceptional at meeting the every need of both ourselves and our guests. Cocktail hour on the deck was absolutely beautiful. We got married at Lake of Isles on May 26, 2019 and it was the most amazing day! Right from the first time we toured the venue we knew that this was where we wanted to get married. From the beautiful ceremony space with the outdoor dock right on the lake to the gorgeous ballroom with beautiful views from the windows. We had a large wedding with 180 guests and there was plenty of room to dance and plenty of seating. Sheila was an absolute dream to work with. She was always available to answer emails and phone calls throughout the entire process. She had great advice and information to help us shape our dream day. The food was delicious and we loved having the warm donut hole bar definitely recommend trying that if you can! There was plenty of food for everyone and our guests loved it all! Most of our guests stayed at the Fox tower and other hotels in the area near the venue. Lake of Isles coordinated with the Fox tower and other hotels to bring our guests over on a shuttle to make sure they arrived in time for our ceremony. Bethany our day of wedding coordinator was fabulous and on top of everything. She made sure the day ran smoothly and she even helped me fix my hair and fluff my gown before we walked into the reception. Sheila and Bethany had our rehearsal run so smooth and they went over every piece of the day with us to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted. It helped ease our minds because we could tell how much they cared about us and our wedding day. Lake of Isles truly gave us the wedding day of our dreams and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have their wedding there. Greg and I can't thank you enough for helping make our wedding day one we will never forget!

We got married at Lake of Isles this past July 2018, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked in to visit the venue, we knew we were in the perfect place (we are also obsessed with how good it smells!). We had a lot of guests coming in from Australia and from various other distances around the area, and the proximity and ability to coordinate with Foxwoods was very convenient. Everyone had a great time the whole weekend at Foxwoods for the rehearsal dinner (and various other shenanigans) and at Lake of Isles for the wedding. We even held a breakfast at Foxwoods the next morning, and with the Lake of Isles affiliation it was very easy to coordinate. Working with Sheila made the wedding planning so easy. Sheila is responsive, knowledgeable and really just perfect; she was able to answer every question and make sure that we had to coordinate and remember as little as possible. On the day of the wedding, Bethany was there to make sure everything ran smoothly, and it absolutely did! (Brodie and I cannot thank you both enough.) I think both Sheila and Bethany are fantastic and the exact people you would want to help you plan your wedding. Everyone at the venue was amazing to work with, and we are honestly looking forward to the next time we can have or be at an event there. Our experience with Lake of Isles was something I could have only dreamed of. From the very beginning, our decision to have our entire wedding at Lake of Isles was the easiest decision we had to make. Initially we didn’t want to look at Lake of Isles because it was farther than we anticipated it to be and it was slightly out of our price range. After visiting several different venues in several different locations across CT, we decided to take the chance. Clearly we did not regret that! My husband and I are very big customer service people and we can usually tell if we’re going to have a pleasant experience with someone right off the bat. From the minute we walked into Lake of Isles and met with Sheila for the first time, we knew right away that this was our venue. She was the SWEETEST person and had no problems answering all of our questions right then and there. She wasn’t pushy, she didn’t try too hard to sell us on this beautiful venue; she simply walked us through what our day would look like and what Lake of Isles had to offer. Every other venue that we looked at seemed uninterested and not very personable throughout the process of searching for our venue, which was obviously the first exciting step in planning our big day. Sheila on the other hand was so personable and so excited for us; she asked us questions about how we met, our engagement, what our current vision was and what our thoughts were for our wedding. She validated every idea and every thought that we had and ensured us that the whole evening would be beautiful no matter where we chose for our venue. We walked out of there, looked at each other and said “this is the one.” We had a couple other venues to meet with and not one of them compared to our interaction with Sheila. That was just the first time we met her. Throughout the 14 months that we worked with her, she was ready and willing to answer any question, at any time, as quickly as possible. I would email her a question and I’d have an answer within minutes. I never had to worry about something not getting done or an answer not being given fast enough. Which made my planning SO much easier. Fast forward to the day of our final meeting when we finally got to meet Bethany, our day of coordinator. We walked in for our final meeting, which led into our rehearsal. Bethany made sure that everyone in the wedding party knew what they had to do and where to be in order for all of us to enjoy every aspect of our wedding. I literally didn’t have to think or worry about anything that day. The entire night ran so smoothly and so perfectly, that I’m still speechless. I prepared myself for something to not be ‘perfect.’ I can honestly say that that didn’t happen and everything went the way that I had envisioned it. We have Sheila and Bethany to thank for that and how incredible they were throughout our entire planning process, to our big day. Planning a wedding is A LOT of work, but Sheila made it so incredibly easy from day one and I couldn’t be more happy with our decision to celebrate our marriage at Lake of Isles. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Sheila and Bethany and the rest of the Lake of Isles team, as they made our wedding day everything that we could have imagined.

Sheila on the other hand was so personable and so excited for us; she asked us questions about how we met, our engagement, what our current vision was and what our thoughts were for our wedding. She validated every idea and every thought that we had and ensured us that the whole evening would be beautiful no matter where we chose for our venue. We walked out of there, looked at each other and said “this is the one.” We had a couple other venues to meet with and not one of them compared to our interaction with Sheila. That was just the first time we met her. Throughout the 14 months that we worked with her, she was ready and willing to answer any question, at any time, as quickly as possible. I would email her a question and I’d have an answer within minutes. I never had to worry about something not getting done or an answer not being given fast enough. Which made my planning SO much easier. Fast forward to the day of our final meeting when we finally got to meet Bethany, our day of coordinator. We walked in for our final meeting, which led into our rehearsal. Bethany made sure that everyone in the wedding party knew what they had to do and where to be in order for all of us to enjoy every aspect of our wedding. I literally didn’t have to think or worry about anything that day. The entire night ran so smoothly and so perfectly, that I’m still speechless. I prepared myself for something to not be ‘perfect.’ I can honestly say that that didn’t happen and everything went the way that I had envisioned it. We have Sheila and Bethany to thank for that and how incredible they were throughout our entire planning process, to our big day. Planning a wedding is A LOT of work, but Sheila made it so incredibly easy from day one and I couldn’t be more happy with our decision to celebrate our marriage at Lake of Isles. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Sheila and Bethany and the rest of the Lake of Isles team, as they made our wedding day everything that we could have imagined.

From when we first started the process a year prior, all the way to the day after our wedding, everything was handled efficiently, professionally, and without a hitch. Sheila, the director of weddings, is SO organized and on top of everything. She is responsive to emails at all hours of the day. I felt so confident in her and her team's abilities - and my wedding could not have run more smoothly. My day-of coordinator, Chris, made sure that everything was PERFECT! His calming presence and ability to somehow keep our rambunctious wedding party in line and on time was amazing. Melissa, my go-to on wedding day, was so helpful as well. She made sure my husband and I had everything we needed - brought us appetizers during our post-ceremony photos, kept our drinks full, and even made us to-go boxes at the end of the night! I could not be more thankful to the whole LOI crew. As added bonuses, the food at LOI is SO good..got so many compliments on it! AND the lakefront deck where my ceremony was held made for an incredible view of the fall foliage. So happy I went with LOI. I highly recommend this venue to all future brides!

I'm not sure I can accurately describe how much of an amazing experience it was to have our wedding at lake of isles. The moment we walked into the venue for our initial visit March of 2017, we just knew right away that was the place to have our wedding. Fast forward 19 months of planning and it was truly the best time of my life. Sheila was so attentive to every single need and was quick to answer any email no matter how silly the question may be. She wrote down EVERYTHING. Things we discussed at our initial meeting she would bring up a month before the wedding and that amazed me. Her attention to detail is incredibly helpful. She kept all the paperwork in line and made sure everything leading up to the day was smooth. Sheila clearly has been doing this a long time because she didn't miss a beat anywhere and kept everything organized and done in a timely manner. Bethany the day of the wedding was my savior. Not only did she send a million compliments but she roped everyone in to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and that everything on the timeline ran the way it should....and trust me...it did! I didn't have to worry about anything that day at all. Cindy also was awesome the day of and made sure our glasses never went dry and our stomachs weren't empty. I dropped off all my decorations the week of the wedding in a giant box and the Lake of Isles crew set EVERYTHING up. I rented uplighting and dropped off a box of 16 lights with cords and they set them all up for me without any questions. When I say you get to sit back and enjoy your wedding I truly mean it. They handle everything leading up to the day and literally everything the day of. They made our wedding day everything we have ever dreamed of and more. The entire family had a great weekend staying over at Foxwoods and I didn't have to worry about my guests getting to Lake of Isles because they covered everything. Not only was the staff great but obviously the venue speaks for itself as well. Great atmosphere and beautiful grounds If I could relive the entire weekend again I would.

Sheila was so attentive and responsive to us with any question that we had during the planning process. Additionally since I was newer to the area she even helped suggest a wonderful minister for our ceremony. She helped to keep us organized and made us feel special about our day from start to finish. On the days leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding Bethany had such great attention to detail and she helped to make sure all of the different parts of the ceremony and reception ran perfectly. The staff at the Lake of Isles that worked during our wedding were all friendly and helpful to our guests. We have looked back and reflected on our wedding day and can't pinpoint anything that we would change in our experience at Lake of Isles. If you are looking for a wonderful wedding where your guests will enjoy themselves in a place that is all about celebrating you and only you on your day book Lake of Isles. I would book an event with them again in a heart beat.

Choosing Lake of Isles for our reception was hands down the best choice we made for our wedding. The staff at Lake of Isles is exceptional- Sheila was so helpful and organized during the planning process and the day of event manager Bethany made sure everything ran smoothly. The servers went out of their way to make our guests feel comfortable, we got multiple comments about how well servers took care of our guests. We had a number of guests with food allergies and Sheila and her team made sure everyone was accommodated throughout the entire meal. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL and we have the most gorgeous pictures from our post ceremony photo session on the golf course. Our guests loved having cocktail hour on the deck overlooking the lake and the ballroom has windows all along the back wall for a beautiful view of the lake as well. The ballroom is large and open with very high ceilings. Every table has a good view of the dance floor and it didn't feel like any tables were off in a corner. The team took care of all the day of decorating, I just had to drop off my labeled decorations a few days before, and they made everything look perfect. I can't say enough about the food, we had so many guests come up to us the next day raving about the food at the cocktail hour and reception. Everything was delicious and our server made sure my husband and I actually got to eat during the wedding! One of the best parts of the venue is that they only have one event each day so your wedding is their main focus and you don't have to worry about other events going on at the same time like you do with some hotels or banquet venues. Overall I highly recommend every aspect of Lake of Isles for an exceptional wedding!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding this past June. Lake of Isles exceeded all of our expectations. Both Bethany and Sheila made our dream wedding and vision come true! They were both so great and easy to work with. The deck was a perfect place for our wedding guests to enjoy cocktail hour. The tables and layout of the reception space worked well for all 230 of our wedding guests. The food was exceptional! The lake and golf course was an amazing background for all of our wedding photos. They also provided shuttle services for all of our guests back to foxwoods casino. Wedding guests can’t stop commenting on how great everything was! We were very pleased with everything at our wedding reception and wish we could do it all over again! It was the best day! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our wedding than the Lake of Isles. We only had 6 months to plan our wedding and Sheila made sure everything was PERFECT! She was extremely flexible with us when picking out the menus and arranging the tables. The venue was perfect, we had a personal attendant that stayed with us all night and was very attentive and helpful throughout the day. The weather was great and we could have our Happy Hour out on the deck and then our reception inside. Sheila put us at ease the minute we started planning. She made me feel comfortable and didn’t let us stress over one thing! The food was amazing! We had a large wedding and everything from the passed appetizers to the antipasto station to the main dish and the late-night pizza, everything was just delicious! Beth also did a wonderful job of managing the reception into the late hours of the night. We had seen several other venues in the area and this one had everything we were looking for. They provided shuttles to the casino afterwards for all of our guests as well. I’d definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a 5 star experience and service on their wedding day!

We had THE perfect wedding reception!!! Sheila helped us plan the wedding of our dreams!! Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about the reception. Between the food, venue and staff....they all said that it was the best reception they have ever been to. Bethany was also amazing. She went above and beyond. She was extremely attentive all night long and ensured we were aware of where/when things were taking place. We were also impressed with our bridal attendant. We looked all over CT/RI, this was the biggest surprise. Location/Facility:The grounds are perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. Foxwoods is so convenient to get to, and a great place for your guests to have fun before and after the wedding, a lot of our guests stayed an extra night and made a long weekend out of it. The ceremony takes place on a large deck made for weddings overlooking the lake. We had or wedding in early October and the weather cooperated with us. Parking is easy, we had a shuttle running just for us in a loop between the casino and venue. After our ceremony we were whisked away to have photos done on the bridge overlooking the lake. Our guests were ushered through the stunning entry way adjacent a craftsman style study/library with stone fireplace. Our cocktail hour was in the reception hall, with vaulted exposed beam ceilings. After our photos we were brought into the bridal suite to await entrance into the party. Planning Staff:We had about 3 months to plan our wedding when we finally found this venue, we had seen some positive reviews but they weren't first on the list because we were apprehensive about a \"casino\" wedding. We called and were put in touch with Sheila and scheduled an early morning appointment to see the location. I haven't had any other experience with weddings, but I can't imagine anyone being more pleasant, professional, and competent at their job. We knew it was the place fairly quickly and signed our contract that morning. We communicated with Sheila no fewer than 2 dozen times over the next few months, by phone and email she responded quickly. She helped us get everything in order, offered advice based on her experience, and really just became our friend, it was a surprising experience. Day Of Staff:The day before we were introduced to the General, Bethany. Any minor doubts we had about the logistics of the wedding day wen out the window. Flawless execution, manner, and organization. The Day:Best day ever.

We got married at Lake of Isles in September 2017, and I couldn’t be anymore happier with our experience! Shelia and Bethany go above and beyond to make sure everything is 100% how you want it! I was so impressed with how smooth Bethany ran everything the day of our wedding and she makes sure everything goes right with the vendors, favors, arrangements, etc. and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, or even set up anything! I couldn’t believe how much they do for their brides. I would recommend Lake of Isles to everyone! The service, venue, food, and workers are all AMAZING! My wedding day was a dream come true and was 100% perfect! I can’t thank Sheila, Bethany, and all the workers enough. On 11/11/17, the staff at Lake of Isles turned our dream wedding into a reality. During our year and a half preparation for that night we had the pleasure to work with Sheila frequently. Never have we met someone who is so dedicated, over the top friendly, and meticulous. I am a perfectionist and luckily so is Sheila! I never imagined having a stress free wedding, but Sheila and Bethany were able to give that to me. The Members Dining Room was the perfect place for a cozy ceremony in front of a fireplace. Our cocktail hour was held in Matches Tavern and then all our guests were finally invited into the ballroom. The ballroom looked exactly how i had imagined it. The food from start to finish was delectable and our guests had only one thing to say about it, FANTASTIC! The fact you're the only wedding for the day leaves all the attention focused on you. Not one time throughout our entire event did i have to ask for anything or look for someone. It's hard to write a review about perfection. For anyone looking for a venue that is breathtaking and for a coordinator who will live up to their word, choose Lake of Isles. You and your guests will never forget the night that you were at the perfect wedding.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Lake of Isles, and the whole experience was absolutely perfect. From the beginning, Sheila was amazing with her organization and helpful emails. She was there for every step through the whole process.The day of, both Bethany and Sheila were fabulous! Everything was set up exactly as we imagined. The ballroom was a perfect venue for our party of 185. We loved how all of our guests were able to see the dance floor from their tables.The food was to die for! Our guests were especially raving about the bacon-wrapped short ribs at cocktail hour, as well as the pasta alla vodka dish as an appetizer. The waitstaff and bar staff were also very amicable and attentive to all of our guests. Sheila was able to accommodate our wine and beer preferences as well :)After the event, we were able to keep all of our decor overnight, and it was packed up perfectly the next day when we went to pick it up. I know other venues won't hold items overnight, however it was so helpful to not have to worry about it! Overall, I would highly recommend Lake of Isles as an event venue! Our day was absolutely perfect.

Lake of Isles is an amazing venue. The views outside are breathtaking while the inside of the building is beautiful. Those were the elements that were a bonus for having our wedding at Lake of Isles. The reason we chose Lake of Isles was due to the superb knowledge, hospitality and availability of Sheila. From the very first email, Sheila didn't miss a beat and responded to all of my questions almost instantly. She remained in constant communication with me over the planning process and I knew from our first interaction by her level of commitment and attention to detail that I had found our wedding venue. I had no idea when I booked that I had also scored Bethany who oversaw the day of the wedding and all of the details. Bethany was also phenomenal. She was professional, calming, took care of every little detail, had a wonderful personality and I cannot imagine going through my wedding and reception without her. The staff was unbelievably hospitable. Everyone from the front desk to the bartenders to the servers gave exceptional service and were very kind to my husband and I and all of our guests. They even made sure the children in attendance were well taken care of. If we had to do it all over again-we would definitely book Lake of Isles. We could not be happier with our wedding and I cannot imagine having it anywhere else!

The facility itself is beautiful, offers plenty of options, and everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about what an incredible location it was having the ceremony on the deck overlooking the lake. Being so close to the casino it offers a chance for guests to feel like it’s a semi-destination and makes transport and hotels easy to arrange, yet when you’re at LOI you feel like you’re miles away from anything in a beautiful, natural setting.On the day of our wedding the staff of LOI went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure that the day was everything we had hoped for and more. Everything I said about Sheila above could just as easily be said for Bethany (It’s like they are the same person). She made sure the day ran perfectly, even calming our flower girl, which helped her get down the aisle. We felt so confident in everything knowing that she was there to help us. Everything else in the facility was excellent and we received rave reviews on the food, staff and location all night long. We cannot recommend Lake of Isles enough.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Lake of Isles on June 10, 2017 and I still can’t stop ranting and raving about how amazing the staff was and how they helped to make our wedding absolutely perfect. Five stars just isn’t enough for this venue, the staff and the food! With my husband and I originally being from New York, we didn’t know many venues in Connecticut – lucky for us, we found Lake of Isles in the Connecticut Bride magazine and fell in love once we went to visit. We didn’t visit many other venues, but we knew that once we left Lake of Isles we wanted to have our wedding there. We loved that the venue has only one wedding a day – this allowed for a more intimate feel that the day truly was our special day as opposed to many other venues where there are multiple weddings occurring at the same time. We also fell in love with the deck overlooking the lake and the wood ceilings in the ballroom (and my husband fell in love with the golf course). We were overly impressed with both Sheila and Bethany – these two ladies you can tell have such a love and passion for what they do. Sheila was absolutely amazing during the whole wedding planning process and made the entire process a breeze! She was extremely responsive and answered all my questions to ensure no detail got lost and those with food allergies were taken care of. She was extremely organized and detail oriented which I loved! We were also so happy Bethany was there to help with our wedding the day of – she made sure every little detail was absolutely perfect based on what we discussed in our final appointment. She went above and beyond our expectations and made sure everything was taken care of and the day went off without any issues! She was extremely attentive all night long and ensured we were aware of where we were supposed to be and when things we happening. We were also extremely impressed with Melissa, our bridal attendant, who also took care of us during the night - she was on top of making sure we didn't miss any of the food during cocktail hour and ensured we were well taken care of all night long. We had our ceremony out on the deck overlooking the water and our cocktail hour down in Matches Tavern and out on the patio. Every bride hopes that the vision in her head comes through the day of the wedding and that it all ‘flows’ – well these ladies did a FANTASTIC job – I remember my mom coming up to me during the cocktail hour and saying ‘wait until you see the ballroom – it’s everything you’ve imagined and more.’ From the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees – the food was absolutely amazing! We've heard back from so many guests about how impressed they were with the staff, the venue and the food! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone!! A HUGE thank you again to the whole Lake of Isles staff for helping to make our day perfect – words truly cannot describe how grateful we are for all you did for Kyle and I!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Lake of Isles this last weekend-May 13, 2017. I have nothing but amazing things to say (and that's an understatement). Sheila helped me through the whole planning phase which I did in only four months! She walked me through each step with ease and made planning a wedding in four months the easiest task in the world! The night of the wedding Bethany assisted with all of our needs and she knew her stuff!! She was seven steps ahead of us the whole way. Anything I could think of or mention to her she had already taken care of. I truly feel as for those few months that Shelia felt like family and then Bethany joined the group and made everything that much more enjoyable. I would recommend any type of function at this facility. The entire staff is beyond incredible!! This may sound unusual but I will miss working with these ladies now that our wedding has passed. We could not have had a more perfect day...and all of our guests agreed! Thank you Sheila and Bethany and all LOI staff for making our day out of this world! I am still on the \"wedding high\" from such an incredible weekend!

Sheila and Bethany were absolutely fantastic with the planning and execution of our wedding reception and it couldn't have gone any more smoothly.The food was delicious, everything was perfectly coordinated, and all of the employees were amazingly helpful. Our bridal attendant Cindy was very nice and incredibly helpful at getting us everything that we needed. Our guests have been going on about how great the reception was and some have even commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would recommend Lake of Isles to absolutely anyone and we thank them for making our wedding day so great!Sheila is great. She is detail-oriented and very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. And we had a lot of questions for her--she always had an answer and if she wasn't sure she would find an answer and get back to us quickly. She really made planning our wedding so much easier. She sent us organized lists of exactly what kind of information we needed to give her and the dates she needed that information by. She was also very accommodating to our guests' dietary restrictions. Overall, Sheila did a fantastic job and we honestly feel that her involvement was crucial to the success of the day. We wouldn't have changed anything.We would essentially be restating our previous comments here. Bethany did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding and it went off without a hitch. Her staff met all of our needs and they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the evening. Bethany helped us out with timing and kept our schedule. Without her, we would probably have been a lot more stressed trying to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. She allowed us to sit back and enjoy our day. We really do appreciate that.

I fell in love with our venue as soon as I walked through the door. It has a grand, elegant feel while still being warm and inviting. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking in all seasons as it is set on a beautiful golf course. When your guests drive up the long entry way, it's like they're pulling up to a fairy tale. There is a gorgeous deck overlooking the lake where ceremonies take place in fair weather. We had a winter wedding and we're able to utilize the private dining room and had our ceremony in front of the fireplace. It was romantic and gorgeous! The venue was decorated tastefully for the holidays which only added to our decor. I cannot say enough about the staff. Sheila and Bethany are a dream team! Sheila made the wedding planning process so easy. Everything is so organized and we were able to add in some things that are personal to us (like a hot wing station at the end of the night!) Bethany was our rockstar the day of and she made the day. She's so welcoming and was two steps ahead of me the entire night. For someone who has a hard time letting go of the reins, these two made it easy. I never had time to worry because they had everything under control before I ever had a chance to. The waitstaff and bartenders were perfection. Prompt, efficient and they made sure to take special care of us and our parents which I loved. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Our guests raved about everything from the valet, to the coat check to cleanliness of the bathrooms, but I haven't stopped hearing how AMAZING the food was! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and I cannot thank everyone at Lake of Isles enough.

We had a winter wedding and we're able to utilize the private dining room and had our ceremony in front of the fireplace. It was romantic and gorgeous! The venue was decorated tastefully for the holidays which only added to our decor. I cannot say enough about the staff. Sheila and Bethany are a dream team! Sheila made the wedding planning process so easy. Everything is so organized and we were able to add in some things that are personal to us (like a hot wing station at the end of the night!) Bethany was our rockstar the day of and she made the day. She's so welcoming and was two steps ahead of me the entire night. For someone who has a hard time letting go of the reins, these two made it easy. I never had time to worry because they had everything under control before I ever had a chance to. The waitstaff and bartenders were perfection. Prompt, efficient and they made sure to take special care of us and our parents which I loved. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Our guests raved about everything from the valet, to the coat check to cleanliness of the bathrooms, but I haven't stopped hearing how AMAZING the food was! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and I cannot thank everyone at Lake of Isles enough.

Sheila was absolutely amazing from the first meeting, to answering questions leading up to the big day, to mapping out the final details the day before. She would remember something I mentioned in passing months before and bring it up again. Additionally, Bethany and our personal server, Melissa, went above and beyond our expectations. They anticipated what we needed before we even needed it! We received rave reviews about the food and service even many months after. We worried about absolutely nothing the day of the wedding and all of our special requests were honored. I highly recommend this venue to all couples looking.

Lake of Isles was the best! We looked at a lot of places and no where came close to the value. The price was great for such a stunning venue. The food is amazing, the outdoor cocktail hour by the lake was gorgeous (especially when the leaves are changing!). The banquet staff was great. The best part of the venue is working with Sheila and Bethany. Sheila is the director of catering and she will help with all the planning. She is full of great suggestions and she is honest and straight forward. Bethany is the go to girl on the day of the wedding. No need to hire a day of coordinator because she does everything! She coordinated with the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, set us up for pictures, bustled my dress, kept up with the timing and told us where to be and when (which is SO helpful with all the craziness going on around you the day of). I couldn't say enough good things about this place and even talking to people, I've never heard one negative thing about Lake of Isles. My guests were in awe of the beauty of the venue and the service. The location was fun because everyone met at the casino afterwards and the casino provides transportation to an from the event and Foxwoods. All the out of town guests thought it was awesome and it really makes for a fun weekend. Another thing I like about this venue is that everything is included- Even the cake (which was to die for). One recommendation I have for brides is to upgrade to the Chivari chairs. The standard ballroom chairs are a little big and bulky, but when you upgrade the chairs it transforms the whole room. You do have to get all your rentals through LOI and it can be a little pricey, but the chairs are so worth it! Overall, amazing venue and I am so happy to have made such wonderful memories at Lake of Isles.

BUT we had a beautiful indoor ceremony still overlooking the lake. From the beginning of the process, Sheila was amazing to work with (super communicative and fast with responses)! The transition to Bethany (day-of coordinator) was seamless. Bethany was on top of everything, from telling my bridesmaids how to best walk down the aisle, to ensuring the guests were smoothly moved from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception (all of our guests said it was the best coordination they have ever seen at a wedding!) And the food was fantastic - everyone kept complimenting it. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you Sheila, Bethany and everyone at Lake of Isles for making our day amazing!
