We had the BEST day, and are so thankful to the WaterEdge's team for everything they did to make our day a huge success. We had so many compliments from all of our guests, the main one being the food!! Our guests were raving about the food, all agreeing that we had some of the best wedding food they had ever tasted. We also received many compliments around the staff that were working that night. Everyone commented that they were so kind and incredibly attentive. The atmosphere was incredible, and the entire night was so much fun. Everyone had a blast, and no one had any negative feedback.Special shout out to our DJ, Patrick, who was INCREDIBLE and kept the party going all night, and to our DOC, Amy, who executed my vision perfectly! She helped ensure that my day was completely stress free, and I would have been a mess without her! Riley and Hannah were both a huge help leading up to our day, and quickly answered every question we threw their way.The team ensured that everything went smoothly throughout the entire process, were incredibly flexible and kind, and helped us execute our day perfectly. We are so happy we went with an all inclusive vendor, and HIGHLY recommend WatersEdge.

Absolutely loved working with the team at WatersEdge. Alexa was amazing and so sweet! WatersEdge made wedding planning as stress free as it can get! They were no issues day of and there was so much conversation leading up to the day that we felt confident in everything. I could not have handpicked a better team to work with! Everyone at my wedding was impressed with the venue and some of my sisters expressed interest in going through WatersEdge when they get married. I absolutely loved our experience with Watersedge, they made the wedding planning process extremely easy and enjoyable. Everything went so smoothly, they were professional and extremely communicative. I can’t recommend them enough! It’s definitely a bit more expensive, but in my experience, worth every penny. They take so much of the stress of organizing vendors out of the wedding planning process.

We booked our wedding 2 years after our engagement, and through the whole process the staff at WatersEdge was incredibly attentive and helped make our vision a reality! We planned our wedding from out of town, so WatersEdge made it incredibly convenient to have a venue that has space available for getting ready, a ceremony and reception, and their packages include dinner service, drink service, a pastry chef, florist, and DJ. WatersEdge allowed us to customize our wedding day completely and add/change our package as we went along. All of which were delicious and beautifully created. Our coordinator, Kamryn, was very helpful when it came to setting a timeline, organizing our ideas, and providing additional contacts for things like bouquet preservation, tuxedo rentals, and “get away” cars. WatersEdge is the perfect venue to customize everything about your wedding day to truly make it whatever you dream.

I had built up planning a wedding so much in my head and when it came down to the details, Watersedge made everything so smooth and easy! Rylie IS THEE ABSOLUTE BEST. From day one, she understood my vision as if it was her own, and executed perfectly. I had lost my dog ‘Riley’ whom I always imagined apart of my wedding day - so Rylie was extra special for me. She made sure we had drinks at all times, got to try all of our food with all the chaos that is a wedding, and found special shot glasses for our unity shot. She brought such a relaxing and soothing vibe. I can’t hype her up enough. If you are looking for someone you can TRUST to coordinate your big day, pick Watersedge!

These guys made my wedding as enchanting and magical as it gets! From the way we could place decor on the fire place to the 3 wooden arches were we had our ceremony and everything in between everything was perfect!And even with the couple of dressing hiccups (purely on the bride and groom) time of for everything was flawless! Kylie and Riley did such an amazing job on everything they did and where beyond wonderful to work with. ( always stayed kind and understanding and never had to wait long for a reply!) The catering team was splendid if the guest weren’t gushing over the outfits and wedding party they where raving about how delicious the food was! (Only complaint is they couldn’t get any boxes to take food home and even that Kylie was so kind and paient in telling them why) Then there was Dj James himself He honestly worked with me (the bride) and my now husband all the way up until the rehearsal day on the music and was kind and quick to make any changes we asked for! He got the party started and kept it going until the last guest walked out and it was beautiful! All in all I spent more then I thought I would (but I added a bunch of extras to the main package like extra time to get ready, extra food, those wonderful late night bites pretzels!) And if I had to do it all over again (as long as I got my now husband and the same crew) Id do it all again! Every dollar, quarter, penny was so worth it!!!

Lakeview at WatersEdge is gorgeous. It's so open, and the company and staff that run it are the real deal. Although this isn't the venue we decided to go with, Hannah was a pleasure to work with! She was quick to respond via my email inquiry and find a day and time that worked for us to come to tour the space. We were so very happy with the way everything turned out at Watersedge. The planning was so easy, lead by our coordinator, Kamryn. The flowers turned out beautifully-exactly our vision. The cake was exactly what we wanted, and the food was really good. We had many compliments from guests on what a great venue it was. An added bonus was all of the servers and wait staff were very friendly, polite and professional. We highly recommend Watersedge.

Everyone always asked us if we were stressed out ,and we always said no because the crew at Watersedge had everything lined out for us. WOW! My now husband and I loved WatersEdge from the moment we visited. We worked with Kayla and Rylie specifically and we cannot think of anything negative to say. They were upfront about prices, flexible with package customization, and genuinely kind and understanding every time we interacted with them (even when I had questions about pricing and other things that can be sensitive).We tried to take full advantage of the vendor connections they have. We used Fiori Florals, Aiden & Grace for furniture, DJ Andrew, and the in-house catering/linens/decor. There was a linen and decor event where Kayla assisted us in planning our style and a first look where we got to see some of the add-on options and taste some food! I will say the food at the first look was good but WAY better on our actual wedding day. This is the smallest critique but there is a built in 20% gratuity when booking the venue, so I was a bit surprised the bar still put out a tip jar at the reception. If that gratuity charge doesn’t include all day-of staff, it should be made abundantly clear how that money is being distributed. Finally, Rylie and another employee (I wish I remembered her name, sorry!) closed our reception out for us and I was swept off my feet by how easy they made it. Everything we brought was packed up in the containers we brought and were placed neatly by the doors for us. Our day was already so perfect and to have them prevent that from being a stressor was so appreciated. On top of that, my husband and my ride was a little late and Rylie and the other person patiently waited with us inside so we could stay warm until the ride got there. THANK YOU!

I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE at WatersEdge for my wedding. The entire staff was friendly, punctual, and accommodating. My wedding coordinator, Riley, and manager, Hannah, were fantastic to work with. The Floral vendor (Fiori Florals) was so fun to design and plan my day with as well. My flowers were beautiful and the fireplace looked elegant with the Smilax. THE FOOD is still being raved about at family events, I kid you not. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding day. I highly recommend getting married at this venue :)

Watersedge went above and beyond for our wedding! Starting with the planning process, Hannah and Rylie couldn’t have been more helpful. Always so quick to respond to my (many) emails, and doing everything they could to accommodate our requests. Rylie was our day of coordinator but she was so much more than that. She was so nice, calm and professional, she truly made our day perfect! The entire wedding day was so smooth and stress free thanks to her, she always communicated everything going on and never let us have an empty glass. She was truly better than any outside coordinator we could have hired. GourmetFresh catering - was absolutely amazing. All of our guests raved about the food! We can not thank Watersedge enough - it is truly the perfect venue that has it all in one spot!!

Pro tip for anyone planning a wedding, go with the all inclusive venue, it makes your life so much easier!! I absolutely love WatersEdge, the venue itself is so beautiful with so many ceremony locations to choose from! The staff is wonderful and so responsive if you have any questions. I loved every second of my wedding and I really think that WatersEdge, their staff, and their vendors made that possible!

I’m not even sure where I should start! From the very beginning everyone at WatersEdge was the sweetest, most understanding, and helpful group of people. They made the wedding planning process SOO easy guys! They made everything so easy that I wasn’t stressed as most brides are. All of our guests won’t stop talking about the amazing bar, their amazing champagne, the yummy food, and the fireplace! Everything about WatersEdge is breathing taking as well. Guys with them you can seriously sit back and let the process happen. My ceremony and reception was absolutely beautiful with what they came up with. I’m still in Awh and will 10000x recommend WaterEdge :)

When I was looking for a wedding venue, I went with an all-inclusive venue to help alleviate the stress. Unfortunately with WatersEdge, it felt like a nightmare leading up to the big day.I booked WatersEdge in 2019 for a prime 2020 date. When we had to reschedule due to CoVid, we rescheduled for a non-prime date in April for the same cost. They told us if we wanted to have the wedding we already paid for on the day of, we could only have 50 guests (we paid for 125), and we would have to pay MORE money since we were putting their staff at risk, and everyone would have to stay in their seats the whole time. When we had to reschedule AGAIN due to a deployment, (we couldn’t get our money back and had already paid for everything) they up-charged us for the prime date almost $2,000. They will also charge you extra for anything you can think of, including over $200 just to turn on the string lights they already have hanging above the dance floor.When emailing them with questions, they would blatantly disregard my husbands emails and only respond to me. They charged me extra for rock candy on cake and didn’t even use it. The cake also looked nothing like the picture I had sent them. Didn’t use the centerpieces I picked out, instead just put flowers in vases when we had discussed using a geometric design (pictures below for reference) The only reason they aren’t getting 1-star is because Libby was amazing the day of. I have had no issues with her and feel it’s important to say what a fantastic job she did on the wedding day, making everything stress-free. Patrick, the DJ was also incredible, and the food was amazing. I just wish we had a better experience leading up to the big day.

Watersedge higher up staff is very helpful in the beginning stages. Communication dropped off as we got closer to the date and the day of of the wedding there were a lot of things that left me very disappointed — they tore down a special appetizer table that we paid extra for before we (the bride and groom) even got to see it and they did not help make the cookie table look complete or organized at all as promised. They took all of our leftovers (including the outside food we paid extra for!!) away and never even gave us the option to package it up for our guests or us to take home!! Still to this day we have no idea where $200 worth of appetizers ended up and not to mention all of the leftover entree and dessert food — they fed the staff and threw the rest away without telling us?? Idk. Also, they were super hard to get ahold of days before the wedding — for example, I was trying to drop off decorations and I showed up on the day and time we agreed to but was left having to repeatedly call their office for them to come meet me and retrieve the items. Email reply takes at least 3-5 business days so just be patient and give yourself plenty of time before the big day to nail down details. It seems they have a lot of turnover with wedding coordinators so that may be the root of the issue. I even emailed after the wedding and it’s been TWO months with no reply. On a positive note — It is really nice to have the patio for cocktail hour and the venue at sunset was gorgeous. The indoor space is fun place to have everyone gather and feel very homey. And most of the other decorations I advised about were set up properly. And besides the wedding coordinators the vendors themselves (ie. Dj, etc.) are really easy to work with and friendly.

LOVED this venue! I am so glad we chose to use WatersEdge - the all inclusive package made it so much easier to plan and prepare. So much less stress & much easier communication with vendors! The only vendor we booked on our own was our photographer - everything else was included. You still get to make decisions without having to search around for vendors and keep so many of them straight. The staff were all so friendly from our first meeting to the wedding day - we had not one complaint. Our day of coordinator Riley was awesome as well as our DJ Andrew. There were more that helped us but those are the two that stood out for our big day! It is a beautiful venue, multiple options for ceremony spot, & beautiful spots for pictures. All of the food was so good and our guests complimented the bar also! We loved the photo booth - worth the splurge! Another thing our guests complimented and loved. The outdoor patio is so nice and pretty - the 360 fireplace doesn’t even need extra decor its so pretty on its own. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue, easy planning, and great staff look no further! There’s also many hotels near by for ease of out of town guests. I know they own a few other venues in Ohio and I can only imagine that the service + ease is the same! BOOK IT :)

I never had to stress about anything because they were always there to answer any questions I had. Flowers were so beautiful from Fiori Florals, and the cake was Delicious from Michelle Sauer. We had a great experience with WatersEdge and received many compliments from our guests. They did a beautiful job setting everything up, the food was fantastic and the bartender did a great job. We were a little disappointed because the DJ didn't play quite a few of the songs we had on our must play list and deviated significantly from the recommended song list he had us put together. Overall the staff at WatersEdge did a wonderful job.

It made the planning process so much easier. Planning in the last 30 days went smoothly because of the great staff at WatersEdge. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the Columbus area!

Overall we loved our experience with WatersEdge. All of the vendors we needed for our day was already provided and included in our package which made the planning process a lot easier. On our special day everything was as we had imagined aside from the cake. The cake appeared nice and tasted great, but it was not what we envisioned. However, due to COVID most communication took place over email so that could have resulted in the altered appearance of our cake. The florist company was great to work with and altered our bill as we determined what was in our budget and what was not (the centerpieces were included, but anything else was an additional charge). The venue constantly communicated with us, and they were there every step of the way to answer any and all questions we had. What truly made our experience was the DJ. Patrick went above and beyond to help our vision for our wedding day come to life and was willing to do out of the box ideas to help make our wedding unique. During the wedding he was constantly available and present to discuss logistics as the day unfolded or timing issues were arising (as they do for every wedding). We could not have done it without him!

We worked with Hannah Trad as our wedding planner and she couldn’t have been more awesome. Thanks to Watersedge I never Felt stressed during the 7 month engagement!! We will always remember this special date with a great company!

Watersedge made the wedding planning very easy. They basically ask what you want and get it all organized for you. We planned our wedding during the COVID scenario which caused us to have to reschedule. This is the only reason I give 3 stars instead of 5 stars. Rescheduling was a fight with the venue since we had already set a date. Understandable, but if all the rsvps came back no like ours did due to COVID, I’m sure anybody else would want to reschedule too. Especially since they put a minimum guest count on their venue sizes. If it were not for COVID, I think our experience would have been a 5/5.

My (now:) ) husband and I are SO HAPPY we decided to have our wedding at WatersEdge. They made this process stress free, simple and smooth from start to finish. All of our family is from the Cleveland area and 90% of our friends are out of town too, so we knew it would be difficult to plan, decorate, clean up, etc. Also, we just wanted to enjoy our night and have our families/friends to have a nice get away weekend as well. WatersEdge did exactly that for us. From the beginning, all of the breakdown of costs were clear, they handled the initial communication with their vendors and all of the WatersEdge crew and their vendors were extremely professional, helpful and responsive. This venue offers several events to literally have you pick everything you want. Each vendor will reach out to schedule a meeting with you on what your expectations are. All expectations were exceeded too! Hannah was our day of coordinator and she did everything exactly how I imagined. I also realized I forgot several things after our week before meeting and she was still extremely responsive and accommodating. If she was not available, her team stepped in to help. All extremely friendly and go-getters. Cindy was the baker who was perfect. All I had to do is pick my favors and show her inspiration photos - the cake came the day of perfect! Patrick was our DJ and he was the best DJ I have ever witnessed (I know I’m bias lol). He played exactly the styles we were looking for - practically read our minds. Even when he made a mistake (we are all human), he totally made up for it! Our guests were humored and/or he never skipped a beat! Patrick was just so easy to talk to and totally down to earth. Fiori was the florist and they are SO TALENTED. They did my centerpieces, alter and fireplace flowers. The roses were absolutely gorgeous and huge - the centerpieces were included in the venue price too! I just brought my inspiration pictures to them and they made all the dreams come alive. The venue itself is just beautiful too. It has back up plans and spaces. The only little downside was there are no elevators, just a chair lift outside. We did have a few older guests and did our wedding outside downstairs, but we let our families know and they took their time getting there down the stairs. For those who could not do the stairs, the WatersEdge venue staff jumped right on it and helped them on the lift. I seriously can’t say enough of how amazing bc this entire process was. I can’t emphasize that they do the set up and tear down, you just have to load/unload your car. I have been in many weddings where we have to get on the ladder and take down decor at midnight - not necessary here! It made wedding planning and the wedding day itself fun and exciting - even my husband loved every bit of it!

If you are looking for excellent execution and convenience, this is the best venue for you in the Hilliard/Columbus area! Being an all-inclusive venue the stress of finding a caterer, florist, dj, pastry chef and venue all for the same date is NOT an issue. They take on organizing your wedding timeline for you, reaching out when the time comes to plan and schedule each detail of your wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces and a ballroom where my boho wedding dreams came true! They took the time to understand the specific details I wanted to my wedding unique and helped execute them the day of! They're constantly upgrading their wedding options to meeting the latest wedding trends too!

Overall the good far outweighed the bad for me and my bride. This venue is as advertised and they made everything around the ceremony and reception much easier to plan. I want to give major props to Kayla Weiker who made our day go smoothly. She was also a great pleasure to work with and helped make us stay on track.The Vendors they had us work with were fantastic. Each one helped ease our minds and give us steps to build our wedding the way we want it.Now for the downside. We can confirm with some other posts around the dismissive nature of management with COVID. In late Fall we were really concerned and reached out to Joanna about possibly changing our date, even wanting to potentially choose a less desirable date. This was a hard decision for us but she really made us feel like we didn't matter in choosing the fate of our wedding. She basically told us what was going to happen. She dismissed our questions as political about the pandemic. All we did was ask for the data that shows weddings are spreader events for covid which was claim she made. After spending so much money already by this time we really felt locked into what they decided was best for us. That was not a good a feeling to have.The reason this didn't effect the score as much is because thankfully the vaccine started to happen and number of our guests were able to get vaccinated before the event. Even then a number of guests opted not to come but Kayla and Watersedge was willing to accommodate us some financially because of the greatly reduced gust list. It would have been nice to know this earlier but we welcomed it anyways.So our final verdict is that if you feel very confident in your date not changing this is a great venue to work with and that the majority of people you're working with will make the experience awesome!!! But that one interaction with Joanna will always leave a sour taste in our mouth but not enough to ruin our experience. Had the vaccine not come around as it did this would be a different rating though.

My husband and I wanted wedding planning to be fun and not stressful like some horror stories we've heard! Additionally, we originally wanted a destination wedding with water and lots of trees... and for Columbus, Ohio-WatersEdge perfected just that! We picked this venue mainly for their all-inclusive option- literally all we had to do was drop off our personalized decorations and show up to get married. We got married during my final year of Nurse Practitioner school... during the midst of a pandemic. Did I mention they also give a firefighter/nurse discount?! COVID- they had hand sanitizers everywhere (we also had individual ones at each place setting), require guests to wear a mask to obtain a drink or while getting food, and had 6 feet spacing on the floors. Essentially, restrictions were in place but it definitely didn't ruin our day like we thought COVID would do. Spoiler alert... we had 120 people at our wedding with not a single person got sick- thank you lord, and thank you WatersEdge! Food- holy smokes!!! We got so many compliments from guests on the prime rib and stuffed shells. We even had a guest say the champagne was the best they've ever had. Our DJ Patrick was awesome. He is a pro and just knows how to keep the reception flowing even if you're slightly behind schedule, and the party upbeat. We had a saxophonist and guitarist for our ceremony and he went above and beyond to make sure they were all set up with everything they needed! Florals- their in-house floral company changed after we booked and before our day .. we were slightly nervous about this and I have no idea why! We just showed them IG pictures and they exceeded our expectations from our centerpieces to our bouquets! Finally, KAYLA--- our day-of wedding coordinator. She is literally amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She thinks of things that you never would ever even think of as a bride to make sure your day goes smoothly. Not to mention, she left the sweetest note to me in the bridal suite the day of.. and honestly, just makes sure that you feel beautiful and have the BEST day on your day with no worries. Thank you to the whole WatersEdge crew for making our day safe, beautiful, and filled with many moments we will always remember!

Thank goodness I GOT OUT before giving this venue any more money!!! Joanna, the wedding director, was NOT pleasant to work with nor willing to accommodate my wedding reschedule due to COVID.At the end of March, I requested to change my 2020 winter wedding due to the ongoing pandemic. Joanna, who is incredibly difficult to reach by phone, stated the following via email: “Reschedules are not being done past 4/12 and there is no reason to think this will still be going on even close to December.“ As a healthcare professional, I understood the magnitude of the pandemic and its potential threat to my guests and loved ones, so I ultimately decided to reschedule my wedding date. Upon rescheduling, Joanna was NOT flexible and offered me only 1-2 wedding date options for 2021 (both were undesirable dates, one being the weekend of Thanksgiving 2021). I even offered to pay more for a better date option. She did not seem to care to be reasonable or accommodate my desires. She already had 20% of the full wedding payment at this point (non-refundable) and did not seem to care about me, my wedding, or my concerns.In October, I ended up CANCELING the wedding after a lot of thought and consideration. Ultimately, it was Joanna’s LACK of concern and care to accommodate me during unprecedented circumstances that led me to that decision. If she had been more flexible, accommodating, and compassionate, I would have kept it. (I will also add that I made a $4,000 payment one week prior to rescheduling. So it was even more unnerving to me how unwilling she was to work with me just one week after that payment. I would have never authorized the payment if I knew how difficult and passive-aggressive she was going to be with rescheduling.)Upon cancellation, I also pointed out her inaccurate prediction of events not being affected by COVID “even close to December”. She replied via email, “[My email] is still accurate. All weddings are still going forward as planned...” There is clearly no concern about COVID and weddings being super-spreader events in her smug reply.Initially, Watersedge was recommended to me by family members in Columbus. When I told them about my poor experience, they were surprised. Unfortunately, I don’t think the owner/investors know how POORLY this venue is being managed.I would NOT recommend Watersedge to any bride. FIND ANOTHER VENUE where the wedding director is warm, kind, and enjoyable to work with, NOT DISMISSIVE, ARROGANT, and PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE. (Happily, I have found a better venue— a more beautiful and superior venue where the director is kind, flexible, easy to reach, and caring— which is worth every penny.) When it comes to the most important day of your life, book a venue where they actually care about you and don’t look at you like just a number!!! WARNING: PROCEED WITH CAUTION with Watersedge!!!

We loved that we could customize everything to fit our vision, not only with each individual vendor, but that we could also bring in some of our own decor as well. Everything was set up perfectly upon our arrival, which allowed myself and my family to relax and not have to worry about a thing. The staff took such wonderful care of our guests and we are still receiving compliments on how amazing our wedding was. It couldn't have been possible without Watersedge!

Once the pandemic occurred, WatersEdge was terrible to work with in my opinion. WatersEdge would not give us any options up until about four weeks before our event which made it very hard to tell family and friends what our plans were for the wedding. The options were to cancel the event for a 50% refund of our contract amount (wedding venue would have kept about $10,000), move the wedding to a weekday for the same contract amount or move our wedding to select weekend days for an extra $5,000 on top of the contract amount. After exchanging letters with their lawyers, we decided to have our ceremony at home due to not being able to negotiate with the venue. WatersEdge caused us a lot of stress, and I advise to avoid them in all circumstances.

I would recommend this venue with every bone in my body. We booked Watersedge about 2 years before our wedding date. That day we visited Watersedge and their sister company Brookshire. Brookshire was equally gorgeous but we went with Watersedge because we loved so much about it: the huge windows in the reception area, the pond in the backyard, the wrap around patio over the pond, and the huge-ness of the space. Once we booked our date, the Watersedge staff did everything they could to make our wedding planning as easy as possible. To make the already stressful event of a wedding even more stressful, the Corona Virus shut down the country about 4 months before our wedding was to take place. Even with a date in July, we got married in the middle of a pandemic. And Watersedge rose above and beyond to the occasion. Our contact, Kayla, was super responsive and always very helpful with every concern I ever had throughout the 2 years before our wedding. She was particularly helpful and supportive during the pandemic and was just super awesome at keeping us updated on the situation and what was being done to keep guests safe. In the end, we got married in the middle of the pandemic with about 55 guests and not a single person got sick. In addition to the awesome staff employed at Watersedge, I have to give another 5 star review to the vendors they employ. Meetings with vendors started happening around 5 months before the wedding (right around when the pandemic started too!) and every single vendor was professional and very helpful. Our DJ, Patrick, was the most helpful person I've ever met. He helped put together our day-of timeline and on the wedding day, he was the practically the emcee of the evening. He did a great job directing guests and moving us from event to event, not to mention getting everyone dancing. Another vendor, Gayle, who is the Watersedge florist is beyond a genius. I wish I could post photos of the wonderful bouquets she made me and my bridesmaids. Finally, we got so many compliments from our guests about the food. We had ordered black chicken and a stuffed shell as our entrees and both were delicious! Our cake was also beautiful and flavorful. Everything Watersedge offers is able to be customized. Different packages are offered a la carte style which is perfect for both brides who want it all and the bride on a budget. Watersedge is the perfect wedding venue and they definitely deserve all of the awards they've won the past 5 years. The venue is picturesque and there's so many options to make your wedding day exactly how you want it; it's hard to believe you get all that for such a reasonable price. You won't find another venue like this one anywhere (except their sister property Brookshire). So, me and all the other brides leaving 5 star reviews would highly recommend booking this wonderful venue!

This venue is so beautiful. They have 4 different places to hold your ceremony and it is all inclusive so it makes planning a breeze. I had Kayla as my wedding coordinator and I can’t say enough good things about her. Any time I had a question of concern she got right back to me. She worked with on any detail I wanted. Day of she was a calming presence. I would look around the room and always be able to find her which was a comfort. We were a COVID couple and she made rescheduling so easy. She kept us up to date day to day on any changes with guidelines or requirements. Any last minute changes we had she just went with the flow. The venue itself is amazing but as with anything the people are what make it work. The staff was amazing and moved around the room so quickly. They were extremely attentive to all guests. I recommend Watersedge to anyone who wants a stress free and beautiful day!

If you're looking for a stress free, simple, one stop shop to plan your wedding in its entirety, look no further than WatersEdge. My husband and I had the absolute best experience at WatersEdge. Everything, including our cake, DJ, centerpieces, linens, catering, etc. was all taken care of by them. Essentially, I had to just make the decisions and they did all the work!! Everything was perfect on the day of our wedding, and our guests were raving about how beautiful everything turned out. Everything went very smooth on our big day, thanks to Kayla and her team.They even helped us with finding our wedding officiant at their open house, Jeff Kniece, who also did a great job for a very reasonable price. Their in-house florist, Bloomtastic, took care of all ceremony flowers for an extra cost as well. The prices for everything is VERY reasonable, especially considering that everything is in one place. Following the wedding, they sent us the nicest thank you card and they still share photos from our wedding on social media today, which makes us feel so special. Thank you so much WatersEdge and we would recommend your venue a thousand times over!

WatersEdge helped make our wedding day the BEST day of our lives! Planning can be stressful enough, but WatersEdge is a one stop shop. With not being from the area, I did not know which vendors I would use for flowers, food, DJ, etc- so when I found out that WatersEdge contracted everything for you, I was sold! There was no extra stress with having to find quotes and contact different vendors- they had all the best vendors picked out for you already. Along with that - Kayla, was our personal wedding planner at WatersEdge and she did it all! She was always there to offer advice and answer questions. She also made life easy by having us drop off the decorations and she decorated the entire venue for us! We met one time to go over where I wanted things to be and she nailed it. She made everything so simple and easy, in a not so simple time. Not only was the process a breeze, but the venue itself is gorgeous! It is overlooking a beautiful pond and has such great greenery for pictures. I can't say enough great things about WatersEdge - it was simply the best decision we made for our special day.

This venue was beyond amazing! The best part of this venue is you do not have to do a thing! Everything but the photographer was included which made planning our wedding so much less stressful. They had payment options so we did not feel like we had to pay everything upfront or worry about getting everything organized and timed out correctly. From the first moment we walked in we were greeted with care and excitement for our big day. Kayla was who we worked first hand with. She was always there to quickly respond to a call or email. She made time to let us come visit the venue a few times to either show people or to get ideas for our bid day. She helped us make the day about us and plan everything to our dreams!The day of the wedding was so smooth and we did not have to lift a finger. From the time we arrived until we departed the staff was so helpful we hardly knew they were there. They all treated me and my wife with so much excitement and went above and beyond to make sure we were the center of attention. I also can not say enough good things about the food. So many people approached us saying that the burban flank steak was the best they have ever had and most admitted they went for seconds! The staff was so sweet they even packed us a togo box of all our food and cake that we could have the next day!I have no regrets about the venue and would recommend having your wedding there without hesitation! Not one guest told us a negative comment about the venue, staff, food, bartenders, cake or music. Hands down was more than I ever imagined!

The space and amenities were incredible; but it was the assistance provided by both Kala and Joanna (staff planners, admin, design help, and all around geniuses) that made the real difference ! We asked a lot of everyone in trying to match the design aesthetic in our heads, and everything turned out better than we had ever imagined! While the design idea(s) were mostly ours, the guidance and assistance in translating our \"wants\" to the appropriate vendor(s) and catching ideas and details that otherwise might have been missed. Their incredibly kind and patient attitude while helping us come to our own decisions (despite their far superior knowledge and experience) during each step of the planning phase was nothing short of extraordinary. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything about our wedding day ... and that is large part is because of Kayla and Joanna. We can not recommend Watersedge highly enough... while the space and available amenities will impress anyone (at any price point) it is the knowledge and assistance of these exemplary ladies that help create the event of your dreams!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and it’s staff. First of all, Kayla Weiker, the venue coordinator was out of this world awesome and so understanding with of my requests. I had to plan my wedding from afar in Virginia and she always answered any of my phone calls or emails right away. She also has an amazing eye for detail and set up my tables and decor exactly how id pictured it all. Thank you Kayla for making our day so very beautiful and special! This venue has all inclusive packages that include food, cake, DJ, centerpiece flowers, alcohol and day of set up and tear down which made it so easy not having to go look for all of those vendors. Patrick our DJ was so very cool and did an amazing job for both the ceremony and reception, the food was amazing (thank you Gourmet Fresh) and the Cake was awesomely done by the venues vendor, Ms Cindy Patrick. Nothing tops this venue and it’s beautiful location, outdoor ambiance, and awesome indoor reception area or the awesome people who are truly professionals at what they do! These other 5-star reviews are spot on. After searching for wedding venues for months, we thought we were at a dead end until we found WatersEdge. We loved the \"one stop shop\" aspect about them. One overall price for food, alcohol, DJ, and floral centerpieces was a huge bonus. This made our wedding planning so easy and stress-free. Kayla answered all of our questions leading up to the big day within 48 hours and was super helpful when it came to decor specifics. On our wedding day, Kayla, Andrew, and the staff made our day so seamless and perfect! Even though WatersEdge has set packages, we really appreciated that Kayla was flexible and open to other additions (White Claw, for example!). We brought a lot of our own decor items and they were all perfectly displayed when we showed up the day of. Andrew, our DJ, ran the rehearsal and played a huge part in making sure the ceremony & reception stayed on schedule! He was amazing to work with. We have heard endless praise from our guests about the venue: how beautiful it was, the food, the deck/pond, the staff, etc. Our wedding day was perfect and we have WatersEdge to thank for that!

We just had our wedding at WatersEdge about a week ago and it was nothing but amazing. We have received so many compliments on how nice the ceremony and reception was and how great the food was! Kayla was awesome with helping us through our rehearsal and day of the wedding in coordinating when everyone was to walk out to the pergola by the pond. She also helped us take down our decorations at the end to save us some time. DJ Patrick was also great on keeping us on time and making sure we do all of the special dances and speeches we wanted. We did a nontraditional wedding song for the ceremony and I was worried about how the timing would work out and he was able to time it up perfectly so the end of the song was right as I reached the aisle way. We did the buffet option for food. Everything was amazing and we were able to take home the leftovers which was really nice for the next day when we were all tired and didn't want to cook! WatersEdge is a great venue, they made everything with planning super easy, I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

I loved WatersEdge!! If you are looking for a simple, easy, stress-free wedding process... WatersEdge is your venue!! I did not have to search for a DJ, cake, florist, table cloths/napkins, center pieces... EVERYTHING was included in a package. All I had to do was email and meet with the vendors. Kayla was an email away and responded quickly to all my questions. One of my favorite parts (which there were many) was at the end of the night they packed everything up for us... All we had to do was load it into our car. WatersEdge has a beautiful location too! My guests continually complimented the pond with the fountain and the outside deck area. Again, this place is wonderful and really makes sure everything runs smoothly. I would recommend this place over and over!

We held our ceremony and reception at WatersEdge in April. It was the most spectacular day, and a lot of that has to do with the staff at this venue! They handled everything for us which allowed us to enjoy our day without any stress. Not to mention, the planning process is a breeze since they already include every vendor in their all-inclusive package. Even after a few months, guests are still commenting on our event saying that it was \"the best wedding ever\" and \"the best food ever\". If you're planning a wedding, you should definitely consider WatersEdge!

Kayla at WatersEdge was amazing, she is quick to respond to emails and answer any questions. She made our night run so smooth. The place overlooks a pond and you have all the land for photos which look beautiful. Our night was perfect everything ran smooth and perfect. The food was amazing, warm and we did family style so everyone got a little of it all. The staff is so nice and helpful. WatersEdge has a beautiful fireplace in the middle and they light it beautiful and you can decorate it which makes its special. I have no complaints. It was truly the perfect night! All the vendors they use were amazing. The cake was beautiful, the DJ Mark was amazing he had the night going and kept things moving as well. The florist did our centerpiece and they were exactly how I wanted it. This place has it down and if your looking for some place that includes a lot for the price this is your place!!!

Watersedge was our dream venue! Not only is the venue breathtaking, but the staff and vendors are the most dedicated, passionate and professional people that we have ever worked with. With their guidance, we knew that our day would be executed perfectly (and it was!) Watersedge took a process that is supposed to be stressful and intimidating, and made it so simple and fun. Choosing this venue was the best decision we could have made in regards to our wedding day.

If you want a stress-free wedding planning experience, I highly recommend WatersEdge Event Center. WatersEdge handles the catering, cake, florals and DJ, which meant I only needed to secure a photographer and officiant in my planning. That fact alone was reason enough for my husband and I to sign in the beginning. What we didn’t expect was how amazingly well WaterEdge handles your wedding day. Throughout our year of engagement, Kayla on staff was always available to answer our every question, making sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Kayla was also on hand during our event to ensure everything went off without a hitch and I’m so appreciative of everything she did! Every detail was met and exceeded our every expectation, from the beautiful outdoor ceremony to the gorgeous reception layout. The food was absolutely amazing, with compliments from even the toughest of critics (a big compliment coming from an agricultural background). The cake was gorgeous and delicious, with each flavor layer meeting our expectations. Kayla ensured myself and my husband were taken care of, bringing us appetizers and water to the bridal room between photos and the reception, double checking each detail and making sure we were happy each step of the way. Working with WatersEdge, I had basically no stress regarding the details of our event, because I knew they had everything handled. Thank you so much for bringing my wedding vision to life, it was everything I could have wanted and so much more!!

Absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about WatersEdge. From our first meeting to the big day, everything was flawless. Kayla and Joanna were incredible to work with. All of my emails were answered within 1 business day and no question was a dumb question. You could feel that they genuinely cared about you and your day. I was an out of town bride and in the beginning I was nervous about how hard it will be to plan the wedding without taking too much time off of work. Needless to say my worries were soon gone. All of the planning was seamless and stress free with having food, drinks, cake, flowers, and linens all provided through WatersEdge. Everyone was very accommodating to us being out of town and made the process so stress free.On the night of the wedding and since then, our guests haven't stopped raving about the venue. It looked better than I pictured in my head! The food was amazing and the dance floor was packed all night. If you are looking to get married in Columbus, look no further than here. You won't regret it!

Watersedge was an amazing “all inclusive” venue. Their pricing included venue rental, tables, chairs, floral centerpieces, food, bar, DJ, and cake. I enjoyed this option as it eliminated the need to go find available vendors on my own. They provided an open house to sample food, cake, drinks and view table linen options. Kayla was great to work with during the planning process, specifically day of needs. They completed set up and tear down, including the decor items I brought in. We hosted our ceremony and reception inside at the venue which went very smoothly.

Andrew and I had our wedding there this past weekend, March 30, 2019 and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had originally planned to have an outside ceremony in the garden and as much as we planned for the cold, we never would have imagined a torrential downpour would have happened. However, all the staff was wonderful during this process. From the months leading up to the wedding of many questions, requests, etc. to the smallest of details the day of. Kayla was our contact person leading up to the wedding but since she herself was getting married the same day we had Sydney executing everything the day of and couldn't have asked for a more seamless transition. Our DJ, Andrew was wonderful and helped pick out our perfect playlist. One of our groomsman even said he needed to get a copy of it for himself. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing as well. Our flowers, although the design had to be altered a bit, were beautiful and I loved my bouquet. The fact that my family could enjoy our special day together and not have to worry about setting up and taring down was a special bonus that I would recommend everyone take advantage of when possible. I could honestly go on about how wonderful Watersedge is. This business is truly ran by people who love what they do and it shows every step of the way.

I fell in love with this venue the moment I came across it on the knot. My wedding was absolutely beautiful. We got married by the fireplace and celebrated with friends and family with great food, drinks and music. Everything was easy to plan with Kayla and their well designed planning forms and easy meetings with the included vendors. I had many compliments from the food and decor from so many guests . I would recommend this venue to any future groom and brides.

Such a beautiful venue!!! Cannot say enough good things about this venue and Kayla who helped us make our day so incredibly special. I was getting married during my medical residency and WatersEdge was perfect because they clearly know what they are doing, have so many contacts with various venues making organizing a wedding a breeze, and do so much set-up/work behind the scenes - it left me ENJOYING the planning process rather than being stressed about it. Kayla is a rock star, she goes above and beyond to help brides/grooms/families/etc. She was always easy to get ahold of and prompt with her responses to my many questions.The venue is perfect, it is so open and there is a beautiful deck to enjoy the evening air. Our DJ, patrick, was awesome as well (kept the party going but was never obnoxious). Almost every guest commented on what a lovely venue it was - stating it was one of the best weddings they've been to in a long time; also very accommodating to grandparents with the many ramps/elevators/etc. Will recommend WatersEdge to any bride/groom who wants to enjoy their wedding planning process and work with a great/knowledgeable staff!

If you are looking for a wedding venue, WatersEdge is the way to go! I held my reception here, and everything was unbelievably perfect. We loved the all-inclusive package deal, which covers everything: linens, wedding cake, open bar, floral centerpieces, DJ, food, staff, etc. They also cover all set-up and tear down, which made our day very stress free! Although I was married here last year, guests are still raving about how beautiful this venue was and how delicious the food was! We had a wonderful experience with WatersEdge for our wedding day. The all-inclusive aspect made it really easy to plan a wedding in under 3 months, which is saying something. All of the in-house vendors were so accommodating, and having an on-site coordinator made the day flow seamlessly. We would recommend WatersEdge to anyone!

My husband Aaron and I got married at Watersedge back in April of this year. Everyone from Watersedge did an absolutely amazing job and made our day so very special. First, the venue takes care of EVERYTHING except for the bridal flowers (although you can use the florist they use for the table décor as your bridal flower florist as well, which is what we did) and the wedding photographer. Having everything in an all in one package was truly convenient and made wedding planning so much easier. Venue - Amazing. It was the perfect fit of rustic and cozy for our 125 guests. We opted to have our ceremony inside because we didn't want to chance with the weather, but the grounds are beautiful for an outside ceremony as well. Having it in front of the fireplace with the hanging lights above and the open concept with all the windows made it just the right choice and still very scenic for us. And the grounds were wonderful for taking pictures after our ceremony while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. The getting ready rooms worked great for us and we couldn't have been happier with how everything flowed...from the ceremony to the cocktail hour both outside and inside, to how quickly the staff were able to turn around the room to make it ready to go for our reception. It worked out perfectly. Wedding Coordinator - Kayla was an absolute dream to work with. She single handedly did a great job throughout the entire process. She was always very attentive to any question I had and responded so quickly via email. I so appreciated how kind and attentive she was. On the day of the event, she ensured everything was set up perfectly and was a calming presence as we were getting lined up to walk down the aisle. She was so very professional, friendly, and I am positive the day went so well because of her assistance!Flowers - We had Gayle not only do our table décor (which was part of the package) but also our bridal party flowers for consistency and I have to say, they were breathtaking! She has the most wonderful vision and the blue thistle she thought of to put in our bouquets and on the boutonniere's was the perfect touch. All the greenery looked wonderful on the tables as well. She was very accommodating and was able to even adjust last minute when we wanted to have some greenery and candles added above the fireplace as part of the backdrop for when we got married. It was just the right touch! Cake - The cake is also included in the venue package and it turned out wonderful. Everything we could have ever wanted. They were able to make each layer a different flavor - yummy!Entertainment - Patrick was our DJ and MC for the evening. He did a wonderful job keeping us updated on time and getting the party started :) The website he had for us to request all the songs was very easy to use, and he was able to make a special request happen for my family too by playing a polka to celebrate our heritage. I also have him to thank for being able to bring a music stand for our celebrant to use during our ceremony...It's the little touches and support we had from all the staff at Watersedge that made the day and evening so very memorable. We have beautiful memories from our day and have Watersedge to thank for that!

Beyond beautiful! Everything was taken care of as far as decorations, setup, DJ, florist, cake, linens, catering/food, the open bar... it was so easy and stress free! My wedding was 8-11-18 and I’ve had multiple people tell me it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The venue both inside and out was beautiful and everyone said how delicious the food was! I attended a wedding here. My best childhood friend got married at WatersEdge a few weeks ago and it was stunning!!Kayla who was the coordinator was a pleasure to work with! The food was the best wedding food I have ever had. All of the details like the cake and the flowers were exactly like she had planned! Patrick who was the DJ was amazing. He got everyone on the dance floor. Loved the experience.

The fact that all of the major parts of your wedding day are included, Dinner, Cake/Dessert, Flowers, DJ, Staff to make things go off without a hitch, chairs and set-up crew for an outdoor wedding and indoor ceremony if you choose, the amazing space, and so much more, no other venue could beat it. They communicate very well and coordinated it all with their vendors. Every time I turned around on our wedding day, it seemed as though those little details were already taken care of. Amazing venue! I planned my wedding from afar and it was a perfect day. Kayla is so accommodating and willing to answer any questions you may have. Having the florist, DJ, and pastry chef included were an amazing bonus! Weddings at Watersedge are so customizable. You can have the basic package or add on as many things as you'd like to make your day perfect. The food is great and the cake is INCREDIBLE! The venue is beautiful and you never feel like they left me to figure out things on my own. Kayla is so helpful the day of and makes sure everything runs smoothly. I loved this venue and would highly recommend it!

We loved working with WatersEdge and their staff. They always responded quickly to questions and kept our payment/ bill log up to date at all times. On the day of they made everything go flawlessly. We especially loved working the the DJ, Patrick, who helped keep us on track for our timeline and kept our friends dancing all night long. The food was also amazing and we continue to get compliments on how beautiful their venue is!

All inclusive is the way to go! Waters Edge made the wedding planning process so much easier. They were so flexible with our ever changing vision. They responded to emails promptly. We loved absolutely everything about our February wedding! We booked with only a few months to plan and it was so easy. I honestly could have done it in a month. The vendors reached out timely, were so easy to work with and gave exactly what I imagined and so much more. Kayla was always available and I felt no stress about how my day would turn out. The food was amazing. All of our guests commented on the food that didn't taste like \"wedding food.\" The venue is so easy to add your own style and make it feel like it was meant for you. I would recommend WatersEdge to any couple looking for a magical, fun, and stress free wedding experience. Besides my choice of groom, WatersEdge was definitely my best wedding decision.

My husband and I’s experience at Watersedge was so amazing! Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful. All staff members throughout our entire planning experience and the day off went above and beyond for us. I as the bride never had to worry about one thing. Kayla was our wedding coordinator, I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone, she was so awesome. Extremely attentive, responds quickly to text and email, and always put me at ease with any of my questions and concerns. Our overall experience was truly great and we are forever thankful do everyone at Watersedge.

If I had to do it all over again..... I'm not sure I would pick Watersedge again.We were planning our wedding from out of town and were told that they handle these situations all the time - that was a plus, and a lot of things were included (centerpieces, cake, catering, linens) in the package price. The food was as good as you can expect - nothing amazing (although the macaroni and cheese got great reviews from our guests) but pretty good. The florist they contract with for the flowers was easy to work with - accommodating with doing a meeting over Skype, and willing to work with us to reduce the prices of the ceremony flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages). The venue also failed to provide us with an outdoor heat lamp we had requested - a $100 cost.My biggest gripe is the poor service from the venue itself. We had one person (\"day-of coordinator\") we were communicating with for the year-plus in advance of the day. She was even there the day before, during our rehearsal, and we were telling her about the details we needed handled. She NEVER told us that she WOULD NOT BE THERE ON THE DAY. Someone I had never met was there for my wedding and had no idea about virtually any of the details we had discussed the day before. So I had to waste over an hour of my time (that was supposed to be dedicated to pictures) to fixing everything they had messed up. In addition, a very sentimental decoration was broken in their care - all we got was an email. Moreover, after the day, they never followed up to ask how everything went. I was left VERY dissatisfied. (Other positives, though: Patrick the DJ was good, bartender was friendly, too)
