Im going to start off by saying, my wedding was beautiful & im so happy how everything looked. HOWEVER, I would not recommend using the coordinator & the staff that helps break down everything. There was MULTIPLE issues we had during our reception, and in the contract it states that we would’ve had a golf cart to use for pictures etc. My husband & I had to walk up the hills to take pictures (IN MY HEELS) , mind you, that set us back about 45 mins into the reception where people were starting to get hungry. Every vendor was getting so upset with the coordinator. During the reception, she (coordinator) was no where to be found. The morning after, I went to pick up all of my stuff, and there were so many of my items gone, ALONG WITH ALL OF MY FLOWERS!!! I had a beautiful cascade, a beautiful floral piece that was on the arch, that was suppose to be transferred to the sweet heart table, GONE. The staff sucked at timing—no one knew the cake was cut, the cake wasn’t served at all to anyone. They had to get up theirselves to grab a piece. I can’t even look at my pictures without getting upset because I had plans to preserve them, and I will never have that happen. $3000 worth of flowers, GONE. Right before the send off, we had a few family members try and help grab all the stuff that was ours but the coordinator kept rushing everyone out the door. I mean, how disrespectful is that!? I understand people want to go home, but have a little bit of sympathy. There was NONE. It’s such a beautiful place to get married at, very high end… and we were treated so bad. So all in all, I would not recommend getting married here, just because how we were treated.

We could not have been happier with this venue!! Everything about it was perfect! The women’s lounge was the perfect place to get ready and they accommodated us with an early start time. The mens lounge wasn’t ready for our wedding so the guys didn’t have the best accommodations but it wasn’t horrible. Carly our planner was absolutely the best !! We could not have had the perfect day without her! She made the venue (which is already gorgeous) look amazing the day of and we completely trusted her make our vision come alive! I’m normally a control freak but had no issues passing over all control to Carly! She is so friendly, patient, and will answer all your questions timely (trust me haha)! We are so happy with our day and so happy we went with Laurel Oak! The food was good and staff was nice. We had an issue with one of the bartenders but we addressed this the night of with Carly. We also loved that everything was included with this venue so it limited the vendors we had to speak to which is HUGE plus when you’re wedding planning! I highly recommend this venue and Carly!

We recently had our daughters wedding at Laurel Oaks and were very impressed with the staff and our wedding planner Chelsea. Their attention to detail and making everything perfect was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The venue is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very engaged and very accommodating. They made the wedding fun and relaxing at the same time. The communication was exceptional.

Laurel Oak was amazing - from the venue's appearance and food, to the wonderful assistance the venue offered in the form of staff. Chelsea was outstanding on all aspects leading up to our day. She knew exactly what to ask to get all of our details recorded. She was diligent, organized, and communicated everything to us in a way that limited all stress and was very transparent. Especially having a wedding in the midst of covid, and having to push it, Chelsea could not have been better with the management of it all. On the day of, Priscilla was invaluable. She always seemed to be there to step in the second I needed her. Her eye for decor and little touches really made our wedding as beautiful as it was. Do not have your day without her. Overall, I have no regrets choosing Laurel Oak for our wedding and can think of nothing negative to say about our experience.

Lauren Souris the event coordinator was friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. The facility was consistently clean, well-staffed and the layout offered us several options for both our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was competent and entertaining- one waiter took to the dance floor to show off his moves, our families loved it! They set up, clean up, and the day of, you feel more like a guest at your own wedding than I had expected to. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Sarasota area.

Lauren Souris the event coordinator was friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. We contacted Kara to help us plan our event. She helped us coordinate all the details of our wedding and she is a true professional. The food was excelent and the rooms were beautiful and overlooked the golf course. Our formal photographs were outside and since the setting is so picturesque, the photos were beautiful.

We contacted Kara to help us plan our event. She helped us coordinate all the details of our wedding and she is a true professional. The food was excelent and the rooms were beautiful and overlooked the golf course. Our formal photographs were outside and since the setting is so picturesque, the photos were beautiful.
