Wedding Date 25-05-2014
I had both my wedding outdoors and the reception at Lavender Crest. The ceremony was beautiful, and the staff was accommodating as I tried to decide between holding the ceremony at the berm or the gazebo. Due to numbers, we ended up at the gazebo. The grounds are nicely landscaped and make for a great background, especially with the vineyard right there. The reception was beautiful as well. We really appreciated Kelly's (the chef) input on our food choices, as we ended up a little starch-heavy. Janeen, their coordinator, met with us and consistently emailed with us as we planned. She was there the entire night of our wedding and helped everything run smoothly. There is also a small house out front of the property that we were able to get ready in. It was quaint, but nice. Much better than driving out in my dress! As the evening progressed, the lights they had hanging, both inside and out, created a really beautiful atmosphere. Overall, we had a lovely day and everything was beautiful.

It it was not more Kelly i don't think our experience would have been so great. Overall things went well. the day ran smoothly and i have not complaints from the day of. from the time that I reserved the venue and our wedding date a new wedding coordinator was hired, I didn't really enjoy working with her I didn't feel that she was personable, and hard to get ahold of. the Kelly who was actually the chief when way above and beyond and make our wedding day everything we could have asked for. the setting is beautiful and the food was AMAZING!!!

I was incredibly pleased with the service that we received at Lavender Crest. They were completely understanding, and did everything they could to make the day as special as possible. The food is fantastic, the wine is phenomenal, and I cannot say just how many people raved about the venue. \rWhen you first get there, the outside isn't the fanciest, but then once you go inside it's gorgeous. The other fantastic thing with having a wedding there is the fact that you have the entire venue for just the cost of the one hall. We ended up having to have the wedding inside, and they worked really hard to make it as smooth of a transition as possible. \r\rWe had 150 guests and it was a comfortable fit. They do say that they can fit up to 300, but I don't recommend it. \rIt was a wonderful day, and I wouldn't change it for anything!
