A Landmark is Reborn
The distinguished grandeur of a hilltop Gilded Age mansion, breathtaking views of Hudson Valley sunsets from terraced patios, and acres of lush gardens combine to make Le Chateau an unforgettable destination for weddings and special events. High on a hillside in Westchester (South Salem), New York, Le Château was commissioned by J.P. Morgan in 1907 as a gift for his pastor and friend, the Rev. William S. Rainsford. Originally called Savin Rock, the country retreat was designed by Atterbury & Atterbury, prominent architects of the day. The tudor-style mansion of brick and stone would be virtually impossible to duplicate today, both financially and in craftsmanship. The rooms are paneled in American chestnut, a wood no longer available, cherry and oak. Huge chestnut beams are found throughout, and all of the woodwork was hewn and detailed by hand. Grand staircases and massive stone fireplaces are further reminders of a gracious era long past. Today, the venue’s updated lobby and cocktail spaces preserve the history of the mansion, with every antique detail and surface inspected and refreshed. To inject a modern New York City sensibility to the property, Le Chateau partnered with preeminent designer KG+D Architects to add a breathtaking new ballroom which features soaring ceilings and glittering chandeliers. This fusion of old and new results in a mindfully designed venue, where guests can now experience the romance of the past in authentic spaces, without compromise.

Our January 2024 wedding at Le Chateau was beautiful and absolutely seamless. The staff was helpful throughout our planning process, and in particular I want to highlight Tori, who answered all of my questions along the way. The space is gorgeous, and our guests couldn't say enough good things about the whole building. The food was also a huge hit across the board (go for the Spud bar!). We couldn't be happier with our choice.

Our January 2024 wedding at Le Chateau was beautiful and absolutely seamless. September 1, 2023 was our daughter’s wedding. It was the best week of the entire summer. The views were breathtaking especially the sunset. The food was absolutely delicious as everyone raved about it. The service provided was fantastic …we had “ Riley “ who was so sweet and attentive to everyone’s needs. This is how a wedding should be done..For the family- who worries the most. It’s a proud moment when we can sit back and know that a venue takes such pride as well as their employees. It shows in the manner they conduct business. From the very beginning until the last minute, at the end of the night, they were nothing but amazing . There are not enough thank you’s to go around to the entire staff , the chef & and their wait staff . Simply the Best!!!

September 1, 2023 was our daughter’s wedding. It was the best week of the entire summer. The views were breathtaking especially the sunset. The food was absolutely delicious as everyone raved about it. The service provided was fantastic …we had “ Riley “ who was so sweet and attentive to everyone’s needs. This is how a wedding should be done..For the family- who worries the most. It’s a proud moment when we can sit back and know that a venue takes such pride as well as their employees. It shows in the manner they conduct business. From the very beginning until the last minute, at the end of the night, they were nothing but amazing . My husband and I got married at Le Chateau on 10/7/23 and truly could not have imagined a better venue. It POURED on our wedding day - and all of the guests are still saying it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to. Le Chateau has so many options for rain or shine that you won’t ever have to worry!Guests are still raving about cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert stations and even our signature drinks. The entire team at Le Chateau - Sarah, Tori, the bridal attendants, and wait staff are so welcoming and attentive. You cannot go wrong with having your wedding at Le Chateau. We hope that one of our friends will get married there so we can go back!! Thank you Le Chateau for making our dreams come true!!

My husband and I got married at Le Chateau on 10/7/23 and truly could not have imagined a better venue. Le Chateau has so many options for rain or shine that you won’t ever have to worry!Guests are still raving about cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert stations and even our signature drinks. We could not be happier with our choice of venue for our wedding. Le Chateau is a rare gem that is worth every penny. We had the most memorable and wonderful wedding - the atmosphere was intimate and cozy for cocktail hour, and the reception hall is gorgeous. The food is five stars - it was like dining out at a Michelin rated restaurant in Manhattan (where we live). The service is impeccable - all our guests complimented us for such outstanding service. The bridal attendant I had, Claudia, knew what I needed before I even asked for it. She made me feel so comfortable and taken care of - as if I was the most important person in the world... Unforgettable! Sarah, Tori, Debbie and the rest of the Le Chateau staff made sure everything went smoothly - there were literally no hiccups from the venue at all. The setting is so picturesque and everything felt so magical. We are so grateful to the team, and feel so lucky to have had the wedding of our dreams at Le Chateau.

This venue was absolutely amazing! My dreams came true with this venue, the food was amazing. All people could talk about was how fantastic the food was and how beautiful the venue was. If you are looking for a rustic lodge vibe, with a clean elegant ballroom look this is the venue for you. They were so kind and so helpful with planning. To us, it was an easy sell on the venue but Sarah sold us immediately with everything it has to offer. Tori was so helpful in coordinating and making sure we had everything done and Debbie our Maître d' was so nice and felt like home. Debbie really made sure the night went so smoothly and always checked up on us to make sure it was a night to remember. Her calm and sweet nature made the day relaxing for us and felt like we had nothing to worry about. Ryli our bridal attendant was attending and sweet! It's funny how everyone always warns you like \"something will go wrong but it doesn't matter and no one will know\" but seriously, nothing went wrong in my eyes and I'm so grateful for that. Because everything went so perfectly, I am only saying one nit-picky thing that really does not matter at all. The only thing I would say not to do is bring your own alcohol bottles to drink to leave behind the bar if it is not on the drink package because one of my nice bottles got lost (not all of them but only mine) when I was the only one drinking it (which I barely had any) and not to be shared, however that was an added thing that is absolutely not necessary and at the end of the day doesn't matter. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with this venue!

The wedding venue of our dreams!! Hard to put into words how incredible Le Chateau truly is, from the staff to the stunning architecture, we couldn’t have imagined a better experience. From the moment we took the tour of the venue, we knew we found a perfect place. The staff are there for you every step of the process, ready to answer questions and help anyway they can. When it came to the day of the wedding everything flowed seamlessly, and we felt like royalty. The staff was there not only for us from the moment we got there, but all our guests can’t stop complementing how amazing they were. I feel so grateful to have had the most amazing wedding day with Le chateau being such a big part of that. We can’t thank them enough, and just hope to be back as wedding guests soon!!

We chose Le Chateau for its elegant ballroom, refined cocktail space, and gorgeous grounds. We had a beautiful wedding and all LC staff were friendly and professional. Our bridal attendant was especially helpful and tended to not only mine (bride) but our immediate family's needs without question. The food was awesome as well and our guest's were definitely impressed. The only major complaint for this venue is the *strict* bridal suite entrance time. You are not allowed into the space until 10am and no matter how many extra hair and makeup artists I hired to try and make up for that lost time in the morning, we were extremely tight on time. Because of this, we could not make our cocktail hour at all, despite doing a first look and extending to 1.5 hours. This was extremely disappointing and something to consider when choosing a venue (if it is important to you to get ready in the bridal suite). Overall a beautiful wedding venue!

The venue is stunning- a great mix of new architecture and old (which was a perfect match for me and my husbands taste), the staff is absolutely incredible and accommodating (they really know what they are doing) and the entire experience is one that makes you feel incredibly loved and important on your wedding day. We had the most incredible time - and we wish more than anything that we could relive it! Amazing!!! My husband and I got married at Le Chateau on July 16th and it was just perfect. The staff was professional and wonderful to work with. Our guests keep saying how great the food was! THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE. Food is amazing, and top notch quality. The staff is friendly and attentive to not only bride and groom but to all the guests. The bridal suite and groomsmen suite are UNMATCHED. My bridal attendant ensured I never had an empty drink, I truly felt like I was waited on hand and food. Do not hesitate in booking!! Note - this venue is a perfect winter wedding venue, the inside is just as beautiful as the outside. There is little decor needed as the venue is stunning!!!

Le Chateau was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From our initial tour to the follow-up email the morning after our wedding, Le Chateau was nothing but professional, thoughtful in approach and design of the day’s programming, flexible, and kind. It was so easy (something I never thought I’d say planning my own wedding!!) working with Sarah, Tori, and Debbie to figure out everything from the menu to table arrangements to the lineup for the ceremony. We loved every second of our day and it was because Le Chateau and the truly amazing staff could run a knockout wedding with their eyes closed. Our next goal is to attend someone else’s wedding at Le Chateau so we can admire their work as true guests. On to the food! We have nothing but great things to say y’all. Le Chateau offers practically a book full of passed appetizer options for your cocktail hour with the most impressive choices of appetizer stations. We went with Southern Comfort and Poke stations and passed apps including mini sliders and a beer shooter, a mini grilled cheese and tomato soup shooter, and lamb chops to name just a sampling. Rave reviews from our guests. The burnt ends at the SoCo station were a huge hit and we loved the lighter & gluten free but still wildly sophisticated Poke station. For dinner, Le Chateau was so accommodating. In late March, we worried about what would be in season because Le Chateau’s menu selections are labeled for spring/summer and fall/winter. As it turns out, we got the best of everything. We were assured that although our “summer squash” risotto was named as such, it would not taste unseasonal. And it didn’t — everything was delicious. The entree proteins we chose of swordfish, NY strip steak, and cauliflower steak were good sizes! With the selections from the cocktail hour and the first & second courses, there was ample food for the evening. We loved every second of our day. We never would have wanted to spend it somewhere else.

With the selections from the cocktail hour and the first & second courses, there was ample food for the evening. We loved every second of our day. We never would have wanted to spend it somewhere else.

My daughter's wedding reception was amazing! I was truly amazed by how much attention was given to my daughter in the bridal suite. Debbie, Tori and Claudia exceeded all expectations as did all the staff at the venue. The sunset outside the huge windows during the reception was gorgeous. The appetizer bars, the cocktails and the meal were superb. As a former Alaskan, the halibut was top-notch! I highly recommend this venue to future bride and grooms.

When we visited Le Chateau we had a great experience with Sarah and all during the planning process Tori was a wonderful and responsive partner. Needless to say we had high hopes leading up to the big day and Le Chateau exceeded all expectations! Debbie and Claudia ushered me up to the bridal suite and from then on I didn’t lift a finger. The staff were so thoughtful and attentive - for example Claudia brought me a mug of hot water to warm my hands after taking outdoor photos and was constantly bringing me water telling me to stay hydrated. Food was amazing, I wish I had had more of the cocktail hour apps. Our guests raved about dinner (the halibut was a hit). Table service was top notch. It was a nice touch that guests could order drinks from the waitstaff or go to the bar. The ambience was perfect for our black tie reception. We got married in February so guests loved the fire places. Sunsets at Le Chateau are beautiful, make sure to time your day accordingly! Hoping we can experience Le Chateau as guests in the future. From the moment we pulled up to Le Chateau for our tour we knew this was THE VENUE! The building and views speak for themselves. The pictures didn’t lie, which I can’t say the same for some other venues we toured. Sarah was extremely professional and patient and explained everything thoroughly. A year later as our wedding date approached, Tori was very personable and helpful with finalizing the details and making sure we covered everything. When the day of came around, the matîre d’ Debbie kept things moving seamlessly so that we could enjoy our day. The bridal attendant Riley was by my side from the moment we arrived to Le Chateau to the moment we left. Riley helped me from carrying my dress and bouquet, assisted with photographer with pictures and even suggested a pose for one of our favorite pictures at the beautiful bar. She always made sure we had a drink available and brought us food as we were running around before the cocktail hour ended. She even helped with bustling my dress. Last but not least the food was phenomenal and there was plenty of it. All in all we had a fantastic wedding and would highly recommend Le Chateau!

The first word that comes to mind is EXCEPTIONAL. We were the last wedding of the 2022 season, and we went out with quite the bang! From the start we were taken care of by Sarah, who graciously answered each and every question we had when we were looking to book at Le Chateau as our venue. This was one of the first vendor visits we had, so she was so kind and insightful in making sure we were asking the right questions during tours - testing out the seating, and giving us great advice for hosting a winter wedding (ie, are there generators in case power were to go out, is there a complimentary coat-check, what is the snow plan, etc).The cocktail hour is in the main part of the mansion, and during the month of December is decked out with greenery, candles, and actual roaring fireplaces. It's unreal.Tori was assigned as our day-of event coordinator, and she was such a pleasure to work with from the start. Tori was super responsive to emails and helped us with any detail leading up to the wedding.We had our tasting in April - and it was set up like a wedding where future brides/grooms came to party, try out stations and meet with a handful of recommended vendors. All of the food was extraordinary. There was one station we would have never considered having at our wedding until we tried it at the tasting - the China Town Station. We decided to add that at the last minute, and I'm telling you - people are STILL raving about it.Kristene was our Maitre'D, and she knocked it out of the park! Everything was impeccably organized and no detail went unnoticed. On drop-off two days before the wedding, she made an inventory of every item brought in, where it should go, and how it should look. She and her team also quickly packed up all of those items, and packed them into my car for me.Ryli was our bridal attendant - and when I originally didn't know what a bridal attendant did, the answer is literally EVERYTHING. Ryli is the only reason we ate anything at cocktail hour, and even bustled my dress for me. She also boxed up any part of our dinner we were unable to finish. She is the epitome of a rockstar. Anywhere I turned, she was helping me with my train, making sure I was where I needed to be for the photographer, bringing me drinks, and even made a smorgasbord of all the stations and passed apps so we could try them. I don't know what we would have done without her, but we are so ever grateful.The food was so good that it made me wish I could just eat there all of the time. The cocktail stations were flowing with food, and everyone couldn't get enough of that and the passed apps. Dinner was amazing - we had the pumpkin ravioli, trevisano salad, and an option of the 24-hour short rib, faroe salmon or eggplant. The 24-hour short rib was the best thing I've ever eaten - you didn't even need to use a knife!The waitstaff, bartenders and cooks overall were simply phenomenal. At no point did any guest feel like they needed anything - the waitstaff were so proactive, that if they saw someone with an almost finished glass, they were on it to replace/refill before it was even asked.We had many people say this was the best wedding they have ever been to and that we set the bar high - and these are some people who are exceptionally hard to impress. Le Chateau is a premium wedding venue that values a luxurious, no detail missed experience. Trust the process, and totally trust their recommended vendor list - everyone was WONDERFUL.

When you are planning your wedding you always hear “something will go wrong, don’t sweat the small stuff, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because you are married.” We felt this was good advice, so we went into our day with that mindset just expecting there to be some small things that we couldn’t predict go wrong, but that just wasn’t the case with Le Chateau. The day was PERFECT from start to finish.We had our wedding at Le Chateau this past November, and we can't say enough good things about our whole experience. When we first saw Le Chateau in person, it was a cold rainy day and as we pulled into the driveway it started snowing. Sarah told us this was the best weather for touring venues because you get to see the worst case scenario, and we fell in love with the venue in \"worst case scenario\" conditions. The venue speaks for itself, Le Chateau is a stunning location all around. We were unbelievably lucky that our wedding was 70 degrees and sunny in November and were able to use the garden for our ceremony, take beautiful photos all around the property and get sunset photos, but after seeing it in the snow we knew that we would have also been 100% content with a cold rainy day for our wedding because Le Chateau has such warm atmosphere.When it came to the planning process, of all the venues we looked at, we felt that Sarah was the most thorough when going over what was included with Le Chateau's package. We were given prices after tax & service charge instead of X amount ++ like every other place does to make the cost seem lower. Tori and Sarah were both quick to respond to all of our questions and were more than accommodating with everything we wanted for our day! Our wedding day details meeting a couple of months before our wedding completely put us at ease, they were prepared for anything we wanted for our wedding and were happy to work with us to make our vision a reality.Debbie, the maitre d, was fantastic. We were taking photos after we did a first look and family portraits and when we were done and relaxing before the ceremony I realized we never did a rehearsal and panicked momentarily when the whole bridal party was like “we did do a rehearsal! Debbie took us and had us do a run through while you guys took your pictures!” And it went so smoothly, everyone knew exactly when to walk down the aisle and where to stand. It was perfect!Riley was our bridal attendant, and she was so sweet and so helpful and was with us until we left the venue for the night. She was there throughout photos to help carry the train of my dress and flowers and she ran between photos to get us water. She had a full tray of passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour that she followed us with as we talked with guests, and she made us two large plates of all the cocktail hour food and had it in the bridal suite for us to eat before our grand entrance. She was awesome!All of the staff at Le Chateau are next level, seriously. Everyone we spoke to was so wonderful! We wanted to take a cute/funny photo at the bar and the bartenders who were setting things up made the bar look nice and whipped us up quick drinks so we’d have them for the pictures. The servers were all amazing. Our family and friends have been nonstop talking about our wedding and how impressed they were with the staff, the venue and the food!If we could do it all again, we would in a heart beat! We can't thank everyone at Le Chateau enough for making our day perfect!

The team at Le Chateau is truly exceptional and the venue is absolutely magical. From the moment we toured the space until the last guest left the dance floor, the experience was beyond our wildest expectations. The menu options accommodate all tastes and the chef deserves a Michelin star. The outdoor garden is a lovely backdrop for the wedding ceremony and the ballroom is an exquisite backup if there is weather. The bridal party took advantage of beautiful upstairs space for hair/makeup and the family room and groom room are wonderful areas to catch your breath. Our daughter and her groom did their first look in a private garden and pictures with an October sunset in the background were breathtaking. The staff's attention to detail ensured that we did not need to worry about a thing. So many of the guests remarked it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Sarah Schiller, Sales Director at Le Chateau, is a wedding whisperer. She is calm and joyful and the perfect face for the venue. No request was too big, no question too small. The staff, from the bartenders to the servers to the administrative staff to the bridal attendant.....all provide the highest quality services and they love what they do. The whole experience felt like a warm, beautiful hug.

We received so many compliments about how incredible the venue, waitstaff, and food were from our guests. We received so many compliments about how incredible the venue, waitstaff, and food were from our guests. Over a month later, people are still raving about how impressed they were and that it was one of the best wedding venues they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better place to host our wedding ceremony and reception at. It definitely exceeded our expectations and more! Everything about the venue itself is just incredible - from the beautiful ceremony garden, to the ornate woodwork in the cocktail wing to the grand ballroom with the jaw droppingly gorgeous chandeliers. Trust me - your guests will be raving about how amazing it is. On top of the venue itself, the team at Le Chateau is next level awesome. Sarah and Tori worked with us for 2+ years (we had to delay due to COVID) to answer all of our questions, offer their expert advice, and help make our dream wedding a reality. Debbie is a rockstar. She executed everything to perfection. Your day will be flawless if Debbie is there!! Many of our guests commented on how attentive the staff was - better than any other wedding they had ever been to. Kristene was our bridal attendant and she was so helpful. She was always one step ahead of us and she clearly cared to make sure my husband and I were having the best experience. And the food is as good as everyone says! I'm still hearing about it from our guests :) We used the bridal suite upstairs to get ready and it was so perfect. And the guys got ready at a nearby VRBO on Lake Truesdale in South Salem called the Lakeside Retreat. It's an incredible property and so close to Le Chateau. The entire staff of Le Chateau; especially our Maitre d' Debbie, gave us the most perfect wedding we could have ever hoped for. We visited a number of venues in making our decision. We found the perfect event venue with Le Chateau for our wedding celebration. The place is gorgeous, a perfect mix of historic and modern. Sarah, who handled sales, and Tori, our event coordinator, worked with us to organize and plan every detail to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our bridal attendant and Maitre d, Debbie, were on top of everything. The staff at the event were pleasant and went above and beyond. The food of course was delicious. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Oh my gosh Le Chateau was AMAZING!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun at our wedding last Friday - it was truly the most perfect day and night!We had many guests come up to us to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on the beauty that is Le Chateau!! People were so impressed by the gorgeously landscaped grounds, the DELICIOUS food, the attention to detail of all of the staff, and how quickly and thoroughly the runners/bartenders/staff catered to all guest needs. Our bridal party was thrilled with Riley and how helpful she was throughout the day as well! We truly appreciate all of the time and help Riley and Debbie (our Maitre-D) provided to us throughout the day. We could not be happier with how our wedding day went :)Sarah and Tori, were also amazing, not only for answering my few million questions throughout the last 2 years, but for being so kind and calm in every interaction. Wedding planning can become very stressful and I am very happy to say that any stress I experienced never had anything to do with the venue. I knew Le Chateau always had my back and truly felt supported :) I will miss speaking with them so regularly!Many of our guests have relayed that our wedding was the best they had ever been to :D If that doesn't say it then I don't know what will!!! Everyone we came in contact with throughout wedding planning with Le Chateau was fabulous and extremely helpful. They truly helped make our dream wedding a reality <3We are so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding venue than Le Chateau! The staff at Le Chateau is AMAZING. It honestly felt as if they all treated us like family. I literally did not have to worry about one thing the day of the wedding because the entire team at Le Chateau is so solid and experienced. Furthermore, I can honestly say that nothing went wrong on our wedding day. The venue is STUNNING. When you drive up the hill to Le Chateau it has such a grand feel. Right from the start, guests are in awe over the structure and the setting. Then, you walk through the beautiful entrance to a cocktail hour with so much character. There is plenty of room for guests to mingle and have private, special moments. The views out the back are breathtaking, and the sunsets are to die for! The gorgeous new ballroom is spectacular with numerous massive chandeliers. Our guests could not get over the whole experience from start to finish!Sarah was so incredibly kind and accommodating. She was always available to discuss any aspect of the wedding. Right from the beginning, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands. One thing that was very obvious about Sarah is that she really does care about each bride/groom. She takes a personal interest to get to know and understand each couple. Tori was on top of everything! Helping with last minute changes and finalizing every last detail. It was so helpful that she knew the perfect flow for the evening. The last few weeks of wedding planning are of course very stressful, so thank goodness for Tori who eased our anxiety and transformed our vision to a reality! She took so much stress off of our plates.Debbie made sure the whole night ran so smoothly! So many people mentioned that not one thing went wrong the whole evening. Not only did she make sure the night ran smoothly for all of our guests, but she also paid special attention to my husband and I. She offered to get us a new warm entree in case ours got cold while we were talking with guests. She made sure our drinks were topped off without us having to ask. She made last minute seating changes for our guests as if it didn’t even phase her. She was so calming and so helpful!Christine was the absolute best. She was always 10 steps ahead of whatever I needed! One thing that I am so thankful for is that she made sure Mike and I actually enjoyed our cocktail hour! In between mingling with guests, she made sure that we were well fed and hydrated. She had the perfect balance of knowing exactly what I needed without being in the way. I really can’t imagine the day without her.The food was spectacular! All of our guests agreed that every food item served was delicious. It’s also important to note that each table has it’s own individual server. This is very important because it significantly decreased lines at the bar. Many people commented how convenient it was to always have a server to get you a drink, instead of spending half the night in line at the bar.I am so beyond grateful for the entire staff at Le Chateau. Le Chateau is the ideal wedding venue because it has a very special, unique feel and is backed with staff who understands how to throw a spectacular wedding. I honestly cannot imagine a wedding anywhere else. Le Chateau will make sure that you and your guests have an incredible and stress free wedding that is executed perfectly!

The simplistic beauty of the ceremony garden, the stone staircases around the property, the grand ballroom with statement-level chandeliers. The views, the sunset. The property itself is enough to get married there. The food — Our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. The quality and attention to detail. Home run. The Service — You then delve into the level of service. During an admittedly stressful time, Sarah and her staff essentially held our hand through everything. That’s rare these days to have a whole team ushering you through every moving part of your big day (This includes the months leading up to the actual wedding to make sure we had our s*** together!). Also the guests themselves were in awe of the individual waiter service at each table. No bar lines, attentiveness. The flow of the night was impeccable. If I could give 6 stars I would. It’s hard to put into words how perfect our wedding day was, other than to say it was the best day of my life. First of all, the planning process was seamless. Le Cheteau was so clearly deliberate with all of their processes, to make sure their brides/grooms had the least amount of stress to make their wedding day so much fun and so special. The venue itself is so unique and so gorgeous. The outside looks like the titular chateau, with a charming cocktail hour area, robust getting ready area, and brand new, stunning and elegant ballroom. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. But most importantly, THE FOOD IS SO SO SO GOOD!!!! They customized whatever we wanted for our menu, and all of the food is made to order on the day of the event. This is not typical wedding food. It legitimately rivaled food from the best restaurants in NYC. The only complaints we got from our wedding guests were that they were too full for all the dessert. Thanks so much to Sarah, Tori, Debbie and Mary for going out of their way at every opportunity to make sure my wife and I, and our guests, had the most perfect, memorable wedding. 5 stars!

Our bridal attendant, Claudia, was absolutely incredible. She was so sweet and easy to get along with, and went above and beyond to cater to any type of need that arose. She anticipated things that we didn't even think of- like keeping us hydrated in between taking pictures, and making food packages for us so that we wouldn't miss out. Le Chateau embodied everything my husband and I hoped to find in a wedding venue: an elegant, gorgeous space with top-notch food. To say that Le Chateau met our every expectation is an understatement; every single person made our wedding day -- and the time leading up to it -- feel like a fairytale. Where to even begin? We first experienced Le Chateau as wedding guests for my best friend's October 2019 wedding. My husband and I weren't engaged yet, but he turned to me and said, \"This is the venue for us.\" When we got engaged in February 2020, we knew that Le Chateau was at the top of our list. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a Friday in July was absolutely in our budget, and once we had our wonderful tour of the venue, we locked in our date of July 16, 2021. Sarah, the sales director, was an absolute joy and made the process easy for us! Lo and behold, the COVID lockdown occurred just one week after we signed our contract. Throughout the year and a half leading up to our wedding, Le Chateau was *incredible* in keeping us informed of requirements. Whenever I had a question or concern, I received a speedy response from the team. As we approached our wedding date, I had full confidence in Le Chateau’s ability to host our dream wedding. Working with Debbie and Tori (event coordinator), I knew we – and our guests – were in excellent hands. They made sure every single part of the day went smoothly, and my husband and I *so* appreciate their speedy responses to our emails and questions! Our wedding day was, in a word, perfect – somehow even better than I imagined it would be! The food was phenomenal (we already knew this from attending that 2019 wedding!), and I appreciated that our wedding attendant made sure my husband and I had appetizers and drinks readily available during cocktail hour. Le Chateau worked beautifully with all of our vendors, making the reception schedule feel seamless. The venue and grounds are also beautiful; I cannot stress enough how much I love our photographs from the wedding! Best of all, our guests *raved* about every aspect of our wedding! One of my husband’s friends told him, “I’ve never been to a $100,000 wedding before!” While we didn’t pay *that* much (as I indicated, Le Chateau has options for a variety of budgets!), it is a testament to the type of experience you will get at this stunningly gorgeous venue. Le Chateau was undoubtedly the best decision we made regarding our wedding. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our experience. I only hope we can attend another wedding there in the future! We're a gay couple, and being treated appropriately was something we were worried about when selecting a venue. Le Chateau treated us with kindness and grace the whole way. They're extremely professional. Our attendant was the outstanding Claudia. She was there every step of the way and she made the day truly special and memorable for us. Any time she ran to grab something for us, everyone would say \"LOVE HER.\" When taking pictures, she would run up between shots with water and say \"HYDRATE!\" During cocktail hour, she came up to us with a tray of food and said \"EAT!\" The love we felt from her was something we'll remember and cherish for the rest of our lives. The food was excellent - we did the Southern Comfort and Poke stations which were hits! The service our guests received was stellar - many people kept saying \"this was the best service I've ever had at a wedding!\" Our guests had food practically the whole day so no one left hungry. Tip for those looking at this venue and are concerned about budget - off season and on Friday or Sunday will save you a LOT of money and you will still get the same experience. The entire venue is gorgeous… from the inviting and cozy interior of the old house, to the gorgeous ballroom addition, and then there’s the amazing views… Le Chateau has it all. Then there’s the food… everything was DELICIOUS. And the amazing staff was the icing on the cake. From day one, Sarah was gracious and helpful… especially given the uncertainties of planning a COVID wedding. When we had to reschedule, she was there to answer all our questions and keep us sane. Tori was exceptional when it came to finalizing and planing the details of our day, making sure that our vision came to life and always answering our questions quickly. And on the big day, Debbie was the absolute best! She kept everyone and everything moving like a well oiled machine, the day went off without a hitch she’s got such great energy and made the day a breeze. I would love to go back here as a wedding guest, but would recommend anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an easy to work with crew.

My husband said, and our parents agreed, it’s the single best value item we spent our entire wedding budget on (as it should be!). We felt we got so much in one package – gorgeous space and grounds, outstanding food and drink -- and lots of it, stellar service through and through. If you want to treat your guests to something special, book with Le Chateau. I’ve had lots of close friends get married over the past year or so. After listening to their venue stories (especially during pandemic times), it’s evident that Le Chateau staff simply know what they are doing. They are in the business of great experiences. They take pride in what they do. It shows, and their reputation is well-earned. A few highlights to mention: We were a 2020 to 2021 COVID reschedule. Sarah (sales director and so much more) did everything in her power to make us feel comfortable with all the uncertainly in 2020 through ample communication. We planned the wedding long-distance, and I can’t count how many times I emailed Tori (event coordinator) with detailed questions over 1.5 years. She got back to me on every point. We had a safe event in early December 2021, and the staff was completely professional with COVID protocols. Brie (bridal attendant) was a saint. I was two months pregnant by the time we finally had our reception. Brie knew this and made sure that I was full with cocktail hour food and that I had non-alcoholic digestif drinks throughout the night! Debbie (maitre’d) was on top of everything. Le Chateau has a requirement that all décor is cleared out of the venue by night’s end. I had my bridesmaids prepped to do a sweep of the place before we left. In one of my favorite moves, Debbie and the staff had already gathered and boxed all of the items for us to walk out the door. Throughout the night, I never had to think about a thing. Le Chateau’s whole team is professional, respectful and kind. I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better, and it’s all their doing.

Selecting Le Chateau to host our wedding was the best decision we could have made. We started our wedding planning journey in October of 2019. When the COVID-19 pandemic came to light in March 2020 there was so much uncertainty; Sarah was a calming force in an already stressful and unprecedented time. She would check in with us and provide periodic updates on the status of our wedding - which was ultimately postponed to 2022. She was kind and genuine when the world lacked both. As we approached our new wedding date, we had the pleasure of working with both Tori and Debbie. They were consistent, responsive and while they had many other couples, they made us feel special and they built a personal rapport with us as individuals and as a couple. Tori treated us like family and, when last minute changes needed to be made the day before our wedding, Tori gracefully stepped in and handled everything for us so we could enjoy our time with family and friends. This is a theme that continued throughout our wedding day. The Le Chateau staff anticipated our needs, calmed our nerves, and guided us through what is now the best day of our lives. Claudia, our personal bridal attendant, was incredible. She was quiet yet confidently by our side all day. She made sure our all needs were met; she is so warm and kind. Claudia was the last person I saw before walking down the aisle. She carried my dress up the stairs so I would not trip. She braved the cold and threw my veil so I could get the pictures I dreamed of. She reminded us to stay hydrated and to eat. To prospective couples – the photos are what will make you stop and consider Le Chateau as a venue, and while the history of the building and the grand ballroom sell themselves. What the photos do not show is the stellar guest experience Le Chateau creates for both you and your guests. Le Chateau is the only venue I would trust to host such a momentous occasion in our lives. The food is delicious, the service is first class, and your guests will have an amazing time that will keep them talking for years to come. I wish we could go back and do it all over again.

What makes Le Chateau so special is it will impress every single type of guest you have - your judgy aunt who never has a nice thing to say, will rave about it.......and you'll even catch your guy friends from college taking sunset pics on their phones.If HGTV had a spin-off of house hunters for wedding venues, Le Chateau would be the only venue that hits the trifecta of qualities a couple is looking for: stunning grounds, delicious food (was told several times \"the best food I had at a wedding\"), and 12/10 service from the waitstaff for your guests to equally amazing Maitre'D, bridal attendant, and event coordinator. Nothing has to be compromised at Le Chateau. It is our hope that after our wedding, in the near future we can be guests at someone else's wedding at Le Chateau.

It's been a little over 2 months since our 8/7/21 wedding and I am still daydreaming about the big day! We met Sarah in November of 2018. Right from the start, Sarah was so professional, personable, and accommodating which made me, my husband, and my mom feel right at home. We toured many other venues but Le Chateau always had that lasting impression. I remember my breath was taken away when I walked into their grand ballroom and I laid eyes on the stunning chandelier. We booked our wedding date in December of 2018 and we just knew that Le Chateau and their team would be able to provide the spectacular wedding that we were hoping for. Once the pandemic hit, Le Chateau was consistently in touch with us and kept us posted about updates and changes. We ultimately postponed to August 2021. Gillian reached out to us and kept us informed about the ever-changing guidelines and COVID rules/regulations in the wedding industry. Closer to the wedding, Tori and Debbie were very detail oriented. We also felt that Le Chateau took COVID very seriously and felt very safe. Our big day went off with very few hitches! Debbie made an amazing suggestion in regards to the timing of our dinner, dancing and all the wedding formalities. She created an amazing flow that made sure our guests were dancing ALL NIGHT LONG, which was extremely important to us. People were amazed with how much dancing fit during the 4 hour reception. Being true foodies, the food was absolutely to die for. From the passed hors d’oeuvres to our stations, everything was executed well. We highly recommend the sea scallop as an appetizer, friends and family still talk about how it was the best scallop they have ever tasted. Guests were truly blown away by the amount of food and how well executed everything was. We hope to attend a wedding at Le Chateau as guests so we can enjoy and eat more of their food! From start to finish, we felt that our day was truly amazing and we would do it all over again at Le Chateau!

How lucky are we!Planning a wedding during the height of COVID was very difficult to say the least. Couples were rebooking and venues had no availability until late 2022-23. My daughter, living in Dallas at the time, wanted to get married in the fall of 2021. She was relentless in her search and how lucky were we?! Le Chateau had a September 25, 2021 date available because a couple had cancelled for personal reasons. Living in New Jersey, we went to see it. We went on a tour with Sarah Shiller and we knew Le Chateau would be the perfect place for the marriage of our daughter. We struck GOLD!! Our daughter and her husband flew in from Dallas the next day and the rest is history! Words cannot convey the praise we have for the staff. They treated us like royalty giving us a sense of family. From Sarah Shiller to the amazing, confident and calming Debbie Chichetti who we are still thanking for her genuine concern for each detail. Kristine, the bridal attendant catered to the bridal party's every need. And by the way, the bridal suite was spacious and beautiful. The grounds at Le Chateau are spectacular and well cared for, the cocktail hour rooms spacious and bright and the magnificent ballroom is just that! Magnificent! The chandeliers are breathtaking. The food at Le Chateau is absolutely delicious. Our guests kept talking about how delicious the food was! From the pizza at the cocktail hour to the main course at the reception and lets not forget those baby lambchops, our guests were in awe. Never at a wedding did they find the food so delicious! I know I'm leaving praise out for something. You'll just have to come and see for yourself. Thank you Le Chateau for giving my daughter and son-in-law an amazing and magical day!!

How lucky are we!Planning a wedding during the height of COVID was very difficult to say the least. Couples were rebooking and venues had no availability until late 2022-23. My daughter, living in Dallas at the time, wanted to get married in the fall of 2021. She was relentless in her search and how lucky were we?! Le Chateau had a September 25, 2021 date available because a couple had cancelled for personal reasons. Living in New Jersey, we went to see it. We went on a tour with Sarah Shiller and we knew Le Chateau would be the perfect place for the marriage of our daughter. We struck GOLD!! Our daughter and her husband flew in from Dallas the next day and the rest is history! Words cannot convey the praise we have for the staff. They treated us like royalty giving us a sense of family. From Sarah Shiller to the amazing, confident and calming Debbie Chichetti who we are still thanking for her genuine concern for each detail. Kristine, the bridal attendant catered to the bridal party's every need. And by the way, the bridal suite was spacious and beautiful. The grounds at Le Chateau are spectacular and well cared for, the cocktail hour rooms spacious and bright and the magnificent ballroom is just that! Magnificent! The chandeliers are breathtaking. The food at Le Chateau is absolutely delicious. Our guests kept talking about how delicious the food was! From the pizza at the cocktail hour to the main course at the reception and lets not forget those baby lambchops, our guests were in awe. Never at a wedding did they find the food so delicious! I know I'm leaving praise out for something. You'll just have to come and see for yourself. Thank you Le Chateau for giving my daughter and son-in-law an amazing and magical day!!

My husband and I had a fabulous wedding experience with Le Chateau. We were initially scheduled to be married at the venue in July 2020 but had to reschedule due to COVID. The team at Le Chateau helped us to reschedule our date not once but twice! They were incredibly easy to work with and very responsive over email and phone ahead of the planned date. The wedding itself was lovely - the outside grounds for the ceremony were beautiful and the inside cocktail area and ballroom looked phenomenal. The staff was incredible and very helpful throughout the event. Even the food was delicious! I highly recommend Le Chateau and hope to attend as a guest in the future.

As parents of the bride and hosts of our daughter’s recent wedding we were delighted with the outcome of the event at Le Chateau. From the very first moment we met with Sarah to discuss the wedding plan, to the very last moment when we were celebrating the long awaited event, she was by our side. There were many ups and downs in the year and and half postponement of the wedding due to COVID , but she was always reassuring and worked closely with us to reschedule.The venue could not have looked more beautiful, the ballroom is absolutely breathtaking and manicured garden patio area was the perfect spot for gorgeous photo opportunities. The event was expertly run by the consummate professional staff . The entire staff was attentive to every detail , but not at all intrusive. When we needed something, they would appear instantly, and even anticipated our needs throughout the wedding. Nellie, our mai ‘tre d was welcoming and supervised the set up of the room exactly the way we instructed, from wedding favors to personal family photos we displayed..and was there by our sides throughout the event. Jill, the bridal attendant was very friendly and helpful and attended to my daughter’s needs throughout, whether it was to hold her bouquet or help with her dress, she was there calmly helping.The food, from cocktail hour all the way through our Viennese hour, was absolutely delicious and the bar service was wonderful as well… table service by the wait staff was impeccable.We had the BEST vendors found in the tri state area as well , and every one of our guests had a fantastic, fun , memorable experience.We are perfectionists, so we can say with full confidence that Le Chateau did not disappoint in any way! I would tell any couple considering Le Chateau as their wedding venue to book it, even sight unseen!

Every part of holding our wedding at Le Chateau was a dream. From the sweet and overwhelmingly accommodating staff, to the absolutely delectable food, to the sheer beauty of the venue itself, I cannot give more praise nor a higher recommendation.Their gardens are quaint and perfectly manicured, their ballroom spectacular and their upstairs (complete with bridal suite, groom's room and family room) spacious and comfortable... And despite all of it being perfect in appearance, it simultaneously somehow feels like home.Basically, I just can't say enough about how remarkably amazing they are and can't begin to acknowledge the lengths the staff went to to cater to every detail, which certainly included a myriad- from food, to decorations and favors to rescheduling a multitude of times due to COVID and THEN bending over backwards to make sure safety and protocols were implemented with ease.We were introduced to the venue by Sarah, who not only gave us an extensive tour of the grounds, but who took an incredible amount of hours to make sure we were informed and always shared in a laugh. The minute we stepped foot on the front steps, we knew we had found the one.Then there was sweet, sweet Tori, who again, took so many hours to promptly answer emails on every topic and minute point under the sun. Gracious and fun, she ensured everything was, again, there's no other way to describe it, perfect.And then Debbie, with kindness, supportiveness and unparalleled professionalism (and amazing bridal attendant, Jill!) lead the most SPECTACULAR day.And the chefs! How do I begin to thank them for every morsel being magnificent and beyond memorable?The most gratitude, Le Chateau! We can't rave enough!

I cannot give Le Chateau enough stars. They are consummate professionals and absolutely best of their field for what they do. From the booking end - Sarah takes care of everything. She was my rock and anchor during all of the COVID reschedules. She genuinely cares about you and your day, and knows exactly what to recommend to make it happen. On the actual day, the team there has EVERYTHING under control. Bridal attendant showing up with water to make sure you drink? Check. Sampler platter so you get to taste your cocktail hour food? Check. Maitre D making sure everything runs on time? Check check check. It was flawless. They have a wonderful operation and truely know how to provide hospitality for these events. There’s one server for table - people don’t even have to walk to the bar because the server will bring them drinks. And, of course, the food is SPECTACULAR. Food was so important to us, and our guests are STILL raving about how phenomenal everything was. Get the mini French onion soup boules during cocktail hour. You won’t be disappointed. Lastly, the views are stunning. Every corner of the property is a photo op, and the sunset is not to be missed. This place hosted our dream wedding, and they’re the biggest reason I can say my day was absolutely perfect.

From the get-go (March 2019), I walked into Le Chateau and knew immediately \"this is it!\" And I still felt that over the 2.5. years we subsequently planned our wedding (which we finally had in July 2021).As soon as we met Sarah, the Sales Director, my family and I knew there was no one else we'd rather work with. She was so knowledgable, kind, not pushy, positive, patient, and truly wonderful throughout the entire process. Fast forward to our wedding day July 2021, I could not have pictured a better more perfect day!! Every detail was amazing. I could truly go on forever. Our guests will not stop talking about about how incredible the food was! Many people said it was the best wedding they'd ever attended. Also, the staff Debbie, Tori, and the bridal attendant Brie were also SO incredible day of!If you celebrate your once in a lifetime day at Le Chateau, you will be so very happy!

Guests were saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!! Tori, the event coordinator answered all questions promptly when planning. Debbie and Bri were amazing the day of! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was already enough of a headache but the team at Le chateau went above and beyond for my husband and I. Our wedding was just a week ago and guests are still raving about the food, views, attention to detail, service EVERYTHING! As if the location wasn’t enough, the food was AMAZING! The staff catered to every need. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and it’s all because of the amazing team at Le chateau. Day of coordinator Tori was a dream to work with. She thought of every detail before I did. Debbie was the woman running the show day of and we are so grateful for her diligence. And Sarah the sales director & Gillian made sure everything leading up to the day was SAFE and precise. On February 21, 2020 my husband and I got married at Le Chateau. The venue is very professional and on top of the organization up to the day. They also remind you of what they need from you in a kind and caring manner. It was super helpful when they provided a list of recommended vendors. We got all of them from their list. On the day of our wedding, we arrived early to utilize the sun and outside space for our first look and some close family pictures. They provided us with snacks and champagne in the massive bridal suite, while the groomsmen enjoyed their cold beer in their space. Everyone was very attentive to our needs, making sure we got everything needed before the ceremony. The ceremony took place in the ballroom as the sun set behind us. It was a beautiful view of the landscape. At cocktail hour, the food was delicious!! We didn’t even need to add anything extra to what was already included by Le Chateau. All the guests raved about the food and the beautiful sunset. When we went into the ballroom, it was glowing from the gorgeous chandeliers!!! Yet another stunning feature of this venue. The staff was always accommodating to any guest, especially my grandmother who had to leave after the first dance. They packed up her dinner and she was very happy. Overall a perfect day, with delicious food. This is a highly recommended venue for all.

My bridal assistant always made sure I was well-fed and hydrated, and got to actually taste the fantastic food that all my guests kept raving about afterwards. Future patrons - definitely go for the mac and cheese bar during the cocktail hour, the guests LOVED the lobster mac. You really get first-class service through every step of the way with Le Chateau.

My bridal assistant always made sure I was well-fed and hydrated, and got to actually taste the fantastic food that all my guests kept raving about afterwards. Future patrons - definitely go for the mac and cheese bar during the cocktail hour, the guests LOVED the lobster mac. You really get first-class service through every step of the way with Le Chateau.

I cannot describe how amazing our wedding looked and how flawless the evening went at Le Chateau. Le Chateau has its own old-fashion, elegant vibe that speaks for itself. We did not have to add any additional decorations to the cocktail hour or the reception (aside from the centerpieces). Le Chateau had a wedding Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (us) the weekend of our wedding. They have so much experience putting on these events and it honestly shows. You wouldn't have even known they had three weddings before ours because they were on top of everything and still happy to help with whatever we needed. The bridal attendant was absolutely perfect. She held my dress and we walked around the venue taking pictures. She made sure I was able to try the passed hors d'oeuvres and had my sneakers to change into after the first dance. Even the process of working with Tori and Debbie was easy. They were timely with their emails and reminders. I would highly recommend this venue based on professionalism, uniqueness, and beauty!

Our wedding was on October 25, 2019 at Le Chateau and I truly don’t have the words to explain how perfect our wedding was. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the views and sunsets are incredible. We had our ceremony at the venue and it was stunning. But besides the gorgeous appearance, everything else is just as perfect. The staff is excellent. Tori is so easy to work with and answered all of emails and every last minute change we made immediately. She was so accommodating, so sweet, and made the whole process easy! Our bridal attendant was Bre- she was AMAZING! As soon as we arrived, she steamed all the bridesmaids dresses to make sure they were perfect. Before we could even ask for anything, she had it for us. My husband and I couldn’t stop saying how amazing she was. Loved her!!!! Deb was also there running the show the day of the wedding. It was the smoothest, easiest day ever because of her! Sarah was right there with me before I walked down the aisle making sure I was calm and saying the nicest words. I can honestly say my wedding was perfect because of them! The food is phenomenal. Everyone said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The bartenders and food runners were excellent! They worked so efficiently and were on top of everything. Debbie, our maitre d', was absolutely amazing - she was attentive and helped make sure everything ran as planned. Sarah, Tori and Melissa worked hard to make sure this event was planned to perfection. The service was also wonderful and our bridal attendant was so attentive. If my drink had too much melted ice in it she would go and get me another one. We unfortunately missed a decent chunk of our cocktail hour and it was hard to say hello to guests and try all the food so she just followed us around with the smorgasbord tray so we could eat and greet. Our maitre d, Debbie, was also fantastic. She kept coming up to us making sure that we were happy and that we had everything we needed. Being a Bride at Le Chateau was the most incredible experience I could have ever imagined. When we were greeted by Sarah my husband and I instantly felt at ease. Everything was laid out for us and every concern was met with a solution. She is incredible! When she took us on a tour we instantly knew it was the venue for us, and bringing us to the final stop, the ballroom, took not only my husbands breath away but brought tears to my eyes. I knew instantly from the warmth of the staff to the timelessly classic ambiance that this was the venue for us! The day of the wedding went off without the smallest of issues. Everything was taken care of by Tori and every question was answered immediately. The food was absolutely outstanding, Chef does an amazing job during every part of the celebration. I had guests that were so enthralled by cocktail hour they didn't know if they could eat dinner. When dinner came around everyone had clean plates by the end. They were so thrilled with their meals! The Maitre d was incredible! She was by our side guiding us where to go at every point during the wedding. We were told when to take pictures and when to just let loose and have fun! Everything was planned and did not feel rushed at all. It is every brides concern that they do not enjoy their wedding and it happens so fast. I did not believe this to be true at my wedding. My husband and I had the time of our lives! We were able to eat and try all of our food, take incredible photos (CT Photo Group), dance the night away (Rob Hines Entertainment) and have a lovely live action painting done (Katherine Gressel) to remember the night! I love everything about Le Chateau and I cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for the staff at Le Chateau. I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Being a Bride at Le Chateau was the most incredible experience I could have ever imagined. When we were greeted by Sarah my husband and I instantly felt at ease. Everything was laid out for us and every concern was met with a solution. She is incredible! When she took us on a tour we instantly knew it was the venue for us, and bringing us to the final stop, the ballroom, took not only my husbands breath away but brought tears to my eyes. I knew instantly from the warmth of the staff to the timelessly classic ambiance that this was the venue for us! The day of the wedding went off without the smallest of issues. Everything was taken care of by Tori and every question was answered immediately. The food was absolutely outstanding, Chef does an amazing job during every part of the celebration. If you are looking for a perfect venue to book for your wedding, this is the one!! Le Chateau was the 1st venue my (now) husband and I visited and immediately fell in love. We decided to visit a few more places but nothing compared to Le Chateau. The venue is Stunning, the food is AMAZING, the staff is Perfect, and the views are breathtaking (which is perfect for photos!)We got married in May and our guests still can't stop talking about how much they loved the venue, especially the food!! Our guests also commented on how on the ball the staff was! They were so friendly and constantly checking that everyone was happy. One guest mentioned her food was a little cold (because she was dancing and got to it later). Without her even asking, one of the staff overheard and quickly rushed over to take the plate and have it reheated for her! Also, during our photos, we had 2 lovely women (staff) who kept bringing us drinks and apps from our cocktail hour so we didn't completely miss out on the food. I thought this was so considerate; we appreciated that so muchSarah, Tori, and Debbie were the perfect team to help with all the planning details, they didn't miss a beat! Weddings are stressful no matter what, but I can honestly say, at no point was I concerned with any details concerning the venue. These women were in constant communication with me, they would reply to all my emails almost immediately and tried accommodating all my requests the best they could. When you're dealing with so many vendors and shooting out countless emails a day, communication is everything. I have not one complaint about Le Chateau, if I could get married here again, I would do so over and over. You won't be disappointed if you choose this venue. They were all wonderful!

I can’t even put into words how perfect our wedding at Le Chateau was (June 2019). I could go on and on forever, but just know that through every step of the planning process and every minute of our wedding, the Le Chateau staff was flexible and went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we wanted it. It was clear throughout our experience that the staff at Le Chateau really cares about providing couples with a wonderful wedding experience. Leading up to the wedding, Sarah and Tori were kind, professional and very accommodating to our special requests. The morning of our wedding, the forecast for the evening had an 80% chance of rain, and we had resigned ourselves to having an indoor ceremony, but, Sarah showed up on her day off to meet with the onsite team to ensure they had the flexibility to set up outside if the weather cleared up. She looked me in the eye and said she would do everything she could to do the ceremony outside, and she delivered! The weather held up and we had the most beautiful ceremony in the garden. All day, Kristene, my bridal attendant, was by my side doing anything and everything, even anticipating things I would need that I didn’t know. Debbie, the matre d’ not only ran every detail on time and perfectly, but she even thought of little things to make our night perfect. Before walking down the aisle, she looked me in the eye and told me to take a deep breath. She brought us through the back room / kitchen at the end of the cocktail hour so we could get through the crowd and hide upstairs before the grand entrance. She worked seamlessly with the whole Le Chateau staff and our other vendors.The food at Le Chateau was out of this world. All of our guests raved about this because they were not served typical “banquet food.” The portions are huge (especially the burrata), the steak was cooked perfectly, and everything is top NYC restaurant quality. I wish I could share every detail, but just know that Le Chateau is the PERFECT place to get married. The views are beautiful, you get the whole place to yourself, and the staff treats you, your family, and all your guests like a celebrity. If you want a fairy tale wedding that your friends will remember forever, don’t waste your time searching anywhere else. You should get married at Le Chateau!

The venue itself is breathtaking - it combines the historical elegance of the mansion with the modern grandeur of the ballroom which is so unique and really makes an impression that no other venue in the area can make. Tons of opportunities for awesome pictures, and even better is that it's all yours since they only host one event at a time. My husband and I booked while renovations were still underway but Sarah gave us an excellent tour so we were not worried. The entire team here is top-notch. Sarah was wonderful and a real sweetheart right from the start. She was professional and pleasant and she made us feel cared about and reassured. She took the time to answer all of our questions and was willing to work with us on all of our requests. When it was time to get down to the nitty-gritty for our reception, I could not be happier with how our event coordinator Tori handled everything - she was absolutely incredible! I must have asked Tori a zillion questions, but she always answered every single one and never missed anything. Her attention to detail and organization of all the information we gave her really gave us the confidence in knowing that our reception was going to be exactly the way we imagined and planned it to be, and it sure was. I actually had fun hammering out all the details with Tori (she was that great!). I never once felt like I was bothering Sarah or Tori with all my questions - their responses were always timely, friendly, helpful and detailed. And I never once felt worried or stressed - they made the entire process so easy and created such an enjoyable and personal experience for us. The night of our reception, our maître d' Debbie kept everything running smoothly and checked in with us every now and then to make sure we were happy. All of the food was excellent and well-presented, and the service provided was impeccable. Our guests raved about the food and stuffed themselves, and they never had to wait for a drink or anything else they needed. Once we saw the ballroom, the outside ceremony space, the bridal/groom suite, we had to say yes - it was just beautiful! Also, the food - THE FOOD! It’s not wedding food people, it’s legit restaurant quality food people want to keep eating and that they did! People are still telling me how good the Chilean Sea Bass was. Shoutout to Tori and Debbie who also helped with the planning, especially being our day-of-coordinators, ensuring we were fed, hydrated and we kept to the schedule. Le Chateau takes care of everything so you don’t have to worry about anything which is truly what we were looking for. My husband and I had our wedding at Le Chateau April of 2019. We both live in New York City and after looking at many city venues, came across Le Chateau. The venue took our breath away and was absolutely perfect. Not only was the venue beautiful (grand entrance filled with votive candles and lanterns, rustic cocktail hour room, picture perfect sunset, stunning ballroom with fairytale chandeliers, spacious bridal suite), but the staff was top notch too! They accommodate your every need and truly make the wedding of your dreams stress-free. Good food was extremely important to us and the Le Chateau Chef surpassed our expectations. The passed hor d'oeuvres, stations and dinner were all incredible and we are still getting comments from our guests on how great the food was. What a stunning venue and absolutely perfect place to get married!

My husband and I had our wedding at Le Chateau April of 2019. We both live in New York City and after looking at many city venues, came across Le Chateau. The venue took our breath away and was absolutely perfect. Not only was the venue beautiful (grand entrance filled with votive candles and lanterns, rustic cocktail hour room, picture perfect sunset, stunning ballroom with fairytale chandeliers, spacious bridal suite), but the staff was top notch too! They accommodate your every need and truly make the wedding of your dreams stress-free. Good food was extremely important to us and the Le Chateau Chef surpassed our expectations. And Christine day of was a huge help!Le Chateau makes the wedding process so easy and makes you think like you have all the best ideas, even if its their job to make you feel that way, they are really good at it. I initially found Le Chateau through my wedding planner as he had a relationship with the Director of Sales there. When we initially saw the venue, it wasn’t open yet and the ballroom was a pile of rubble, so we put a ton of trust in them and wrote a check to a construction site. But we made it very clear with them from the beginning what our plans were for décor, and perhaps the most central to our plans were to hang a floral/branch installation. This was mandatory for me and my vision, and I would not have agreed to this venue without this guaranteed. The venue promised many, many times that rigging points would be installed to allow us to do this. Yet, just 2 WEEKS before my wedding, they told us they actually never installed them. I cannot explain how upsetting this was. Finding out this information by itself was awful, as this was an integral part of my wedding vision, but finding out 2 weeks before my wedding made it horrible. It was totally unacceptable, stressful and heartbreaking. In addition, completely unprofessional as they had legitimately LIED to us for the last year, telling us that the rigging points WERE installed every time we asked (which was many times). It was very much the last straw for me, as it happened after they went back on their word on a number of things they had promised us at the beginning. Most notable were our Ceremony Start Time (we wanted sunset, they forced us to do an hour prior), our Reception End Time (they told us we could go as late as we wanted, then last minute made us end earlier due to local ordinances that mysteriously popped up) and the Bridal Suite (they told us it was complimentary, then they tried to charge us hundreds of dollars last minute). In the end, it took a TON of stress and LOTS of negotiations from my attorney mother to find a middle ground on a few of these disagreements, and Le Chateau graciously threw in some complimentary late night food stations for us as a make-good. But this is not something as a bride you want to deal with weeks before your wedding. Regardless, my wedding was amazing, the servers were great (shout out to Tayla who was INCREDIBLE) and everything worked out well enough.... But working with this venue was the most stressful thing in the world. It added so much exhaustion to the wedding planning process. My advice to you is – yes you should book it because the food was extraordinary, the service was impeccable and your guests will love it. But for your sanity as a bride, GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN WRITING BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. Ask questions in the beginning for things that are important to you. Do not leave anything out or months later they will not honor those verbal promises they made.

My niece's wedding was held here on Sat. 2/23/19 -- what a beautiful place! The ballroom is gorgeous! The food was top notch (and there was so much food)! The staff is the best and kept the event moving along. Don't be afraid to book here in January, February, or March because you will have the same great time as if you booked in April, May or June.

My husband and I were lucky enough to hold our wedding at Le Chateau November of 2018, and they gave us the wedding of our dreams. As soon as we visited Le Chateau during our venue hunt, we knew in our hearts it was the one. The staff was clearly some of the best in their field, and the property itself is unique and breathtaking. Every other venue we visited paled in comparison.During our preparation for the big day, the staff of Le Chateau were unbelievably patient and helpful. They are THE wedding dream team. I probably emailed Tori H, every other day for 4 months - and she was and is a star! Always positive, quick to respond, and super efficient. She makes magic happen!Sarah S helped us to book our reception and was extremely knowledgable and basically our wedding fairy godmother. We felt so lucky and blessed to have her on our team. I cannot thank her enough for making our dreams come true. The ambience and magic of Le Chateau is something that must be experienced. It is impeccably maintained, and like no other location in Westchester, NJ, or CT that I have seen or been to. It is romantic, classic, graceful, and elegant all at once. All our guest were floored by it's grandeur and unique appeal. The food was outstanding, all the way from cocktail hour to dessert. Particular favorites were the New England and pasta stations at cocktail hour.Debbie C, our maitre 'd, ensured every detail was executed to perfection - and we had plenty! With the patience of a saint and expertise of a surgeon, she brought our vision to life and also gave our guests and ourselves an amazing party the day of! I can honestly say that my wedding was the best I've ever been to and I was able to have an incredible time - I ate, danced, spent time with my guests - all thanks to the professionalism and talents of the staff at Le Chateau. Special credit also should go to my bridal attendant, Kirsten, and Jon. No task was too small or too big for Kirsten - she never left my side and seemed to have everything I needed at a fingertips reach. Jon was in charge of many set up details and the grounds itself - both of which were flawless and he always had a smile for us in spite of all the work we gave him!Stunning and one of a kind setting, perfect staff, delicious food.

We held our wedding at Le Chateau in October 2018 and are so happy we did. All staff were so accommodating and attentive and really went out of their way to make our day run smoothly. We continue to receive so many compliments about this venue and have gorgeous photos on its grounds. The food was also amazing - we were told by several guests that it was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We had a perfect day here and highly recommend if you're looking for a memorable venue.

You are treated with so much care and kindness; I could gush for days. And all the details, from the gorgeous venue itself (no matter the time of day or when during the year) to the food, it is all absolutely fantastic. Our guests could not stop complimenting it all, too. I could go on and on but the bottom line is: if you're an engaged couple, do yourself a favor and book Le Chateau immediately.

Le Chateau was the perfect Wedding Venue. The management team we worked with were so amazing. The reception that they first described to us the day we walked in was even more than we could have imagined. The venue speaks for itself, it is breathtaking. But what makes this venue even more amazing is the staff. They made the reception so easy and smooth for my wife and I. The food was delicious. PART 2The standard of service at Le Chateau is impeccable and between the waitstaff, bartenders, bussers, and even Melissa who followed me into the cocktail hour to graciously fixed my bustle which unbeknownst to me had come undone...you can't put all of these things on paper.You also can't capture the thoughts going through my head as I took my last few minutes in the (beautiful, spacious, perfect) Bridal Suite before joining my girls to walk down the aisle...or the gratitude I have to have Sarah right there with me as I made my way down the grand staircase and toward my fiance. When she says to breathe, you breathe, when she squeezes your hand, you know you can make it down that aisle with your head held high, trembling lips be damned, and when, later on, she tells you to not sweat the small stuff and just enjoy what is undoubtedly the best night of your life, you do it. That's not just a \"venue\" in my book.So yes, while it's easy to describe the tangibles: the gorgeous table linens and chairs, the vistas visible from the West Lawn, the grandeur of the ballroom, the warmth of the cocktail space, etc etc, it's virtually impossible to describe THAT feeling.So, as my husband and I think back on our wedding, and look wistfully back at our photos at Le Chateau, I leave this with a huge thank you to Le Chateau as well as the STRONG recommendation to any couple looking to not only have a wedding, but an experience that will exceed every expectation you could ever think up, to plan your trip out to Katonah. Now. :-)

PART 1:I'm not sure if five stars even comes close to doing justice to what is - hands down - the most incredible wedding venue in the game. Even \"venue\" falls short as Le Chateau is so much more than that - between the people, the experience, the tremendous care given from the very first handshake to your last tearful hug, the personalization, the grounds, and let's not forget the food...When my then fiance and I first walked in the Le Chateau, we were all at once in awe and petrified as they were in the thick of renovations. What is now the breathtaking Ballroom was a CAD drawing and images promising floor to ceiling windows, spectacular chandeliers and a dance floor large enough to carry our kind of crowd...what is now the Ceremony Garden was a weeded over area heavied up with lattice and stone holding the promise of just how sanguinely poetic this space could ultimately be...I could go on, but needless to say, between the incredible trust Sarah elicited from moment one, to the undeniable potential carried by this space - unique unto anything else we'd seen - we signed on a wing and a prayer. And outside of choosing my partner -- that was the BEST. DECISION.EVER.We cannot thank Sarah, Tori and Debbie enough for their continued support throughout the entire planning and execution process. From numerous conversations about every single detail one human could possible think of (previous planner over here), to 30-something long email chains about all things big and small, we always felt like the LC team was in our corner and no words can adequately describe how invaluable that was. As foodies, we had high hopes going in and tirelessly menu planned, enjoyed ourselves far too much at the tasting and weighed pros and cons of probably every single hot and cold passed app on offer. We worked and reworked our cocktail hour schema, playing with additions, changes, and probably a few odd asks here and there, but LC did not skip a beat. We had initially been worried that we wouldn't get a chance to try our entrees beforehand, well, when we had multiple guests come up to us raving about how incredible the steak was, or how it was the best fish they'd ever had, our fears were entirely mitigated. We were both able to bring our individual \"non negotiables' to life; from adding BBQ sauce and onion rings to a stationary table (my fiance was over the moon), to overhauling an Action station (it was a hit), to their doing everything in their power to address my unabashed love of cheese and tequila shooters (That would take an entirely new entry!)....I wish we could go back as guests to truly indulge in the magic that Le Chateau brought that night.
