We chose Le Meridien Columbus for both our ceremony and reception. This was the best decision we made for our wedding. In the heart of the Short North, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and offered our guests an excellent and upscale stay for the weekend. As the bride, my group got ready in the presidential suite, which I highly recommend. This gave us (and especially the hair & makeup teams) enough space to get ready for the day. The hotel is connected to The Guild House, so they provide all of the food for the wedding reception. The food was top tier. You have plenty of menu options to select from and you can customize the experience as much as you want. We loved it because we were all in one location and this made the timeline such a breeze. Last, the Catering Sales Mgr. Sheri was our #1 help through it all. You meet with her and the team a number of times throughout the planning process. She was so helpful and communicative with us through everything. If you are considering a location in the Short North, Le Meridien is the place to book.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the Le Meridien event team. I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter at the hotel in July and it was quite simply amazing. The level of care in the detailed preparation and the day of staff and their flawless execution were phenomenal. I decided to go with a six-course tasting menu and wine pairing which is a bit out of the box for a bridal shower and on complicated side for an event. The team didn’t miss a beat, they listened to my general vision for the event, and coordinated with the chef to come up with spectacular menu that just wowed everyone. The day of staff was remarkable. They delivered the courses and wine pairings to our group of 30 with such precision and attentiveness. Thank you, Le Meriden, for a most excellent experience. My daughter, all the guests, and myself as the host, could not have had a more lovely afternoon.

Our wedding was in November 2021. We worked with Sheri throughout our planning process and she was awesome! She was always responsive to our emails and questions, very attentive to detail, professional, and helped us seamlessly change our originally booked date due to covid. On the wedding day her and her team ensured everything ran according to plan. They really went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding day perfect!!! The venue space, as well as the hotel, is so beautiful and elegant and is the perfect location overlooking the Short North. All of our guests, including us, RAVED about the food. It was by far the best wedding food we’d ever had. We can’t say enough great things about The Joseph!!!

We held our wedding at The Joseph last month. The Joseph is such a beautiful hotel. We loved that it had a big city vibe but it still has the ability to make your event feel very private. We worked with Sheri and she’s great. I emailed her a ton of questions and she was always very helpful. We planned our wedding from Chicago and she was always willing to let us get a tour whenever we were in town. The food is catered by Cameron Mitchell and it’s phenomenal. The food was so delicious. We had guests tell us that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Overall, we’d definitely recommend The Joseph. It’s gorgeous with an intimate vibe and great food/ drinks. My only word of advice is to make sure you fully understand the terms of the contract. There were a couple expenses we got at the end that needed some clarification but nothing outlandish. I’d do it all again If I could!!

It was all hot and delicious and so much better than regular wedding food. All night we got comments about how wonderful the food was and I loved that our guests were so happy. It was great having everything all in one—we didn’t have to rent tables or linens or silverware or deal with purchasing alcohol and my husband loved the Late Night Burgers. Honestly top 5 milkshake I’ve ever had. It was such a seamless experience and looked like we spent quadruple than what we actually did. I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were for the quality and we got Marriott points for our honeymoon. Thank you so much to Sheri and I would recommend the Joseph to anyone!

Sheri Brock, our venue-supplied event coordinator, helped us so much through a very condensed timeline. She was very patient with us and made the space look so beautiful for us. The staff was so professional and kind. Ian Haswell, the catering manager, was so wonderful as well and kept our event on schedule. My guests raved about how amazing the food was (My husband and I included). We highly recommend hosting an event with them!

The level of professionalism and genuine excitement of working through wedding details was amazing. We had Oct. 3rd as the initial date, and they were more than happy to work with us and over-communicate as it pertains to changing COVID regulations. The day was just perfect. This venue was perfect for our wedding. The staff was courteous and professional, the lighting and set up was classy, and the food was delicious. Our contact, Sheri Brock, was excellent through our entire process and helped us navigate the ever-changing landscape due to COVID-19. She was compassionate and patient and helped ease our concerns. We would not have had such a successful day without her steady hand. We booked this venue over 2 years before our wedding and over that time frame our anticipation and excitement only grew. I was worried that it would not meet our high expectations. I was happy to be proven wrong and could not have asked for a better day given the circumstances.

Sheri, the catering sales manager is so great to work with, her team is top notch from beginning planning stages all the way to day of. The hotel is stunning in itself, the catering was second to none (even for vegetarians), the staff takes the best care of you and your guests and they really ensured that our wedding went exactly as planned. My wife and I strongly recommend this venue, best we’ve seen and experienced by far.

Sheri worked with me to make sure we were aligned on every detail. I felt zero stress the weekend of the wedding and I owe that to the amazing staff at The Joseph. One thing I can't forget to mention is that all of our guests were raving about the food. Many family and friends told us that it was the best wedding food they can remember. If you love a modern venue, I couldn't recommend The Joseph enough. Can't wait to plan some staycations at our favorite Columbus hotel.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Le Méridien for our October wedding! From the moment we arrived for our rehearsal and throughout the entire wedding, everything was so stress free. The staff could not have been more amazing to work with and everyone truly went above and beyond. The spaces we used for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were exactly what we were looking for. Simple, neutral and modern with Short North views. We also had the opportunity to spend two nights in the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and service was top notch. Le Méridien is truly such a special place!

Sheri helps you with any questions or concerns you have up until your wedding. Britney helps you through the rehearsal, and the day of. She makes sure everything runs smoothly. I had several guests tell me that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. One of my biggest complaints at weddings is that there is never enough food for the amount people are drinking. The dinner and apps were great. You really should do the late night snacks. We did the Soul Sliders with french fries and milkshakes and my guests RAVED about them. They were soooo good. After drinking and dancing for hours, those milkshake shots were fantastic. Our room was awesome. The get ready room was perfect. My guests had a great time. The Short North is such a cool place to get pictures done. Side note...this isn't a typical wedding venue where they have weddings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We were never rushed. We never had to deal with another couple. I know we weren't the only couple in the universe getting married that weekend, but they made me feel super special. There was one doorman in particular that said \"HEY GIRL!\" every time I walked in or out. Did I mention we had a great time?

I originally chose this hotel because of its great location--in the chic Short North and close to so many great restaurants! I feel so fortunate that I was able to stay at the largest suite on the top floor. Our bridal party was very impressed by the great view and the elegant room decor. We were able to fit all our bridesmaids, mothers, hair stylists, photographers, and videographers in the suite on the morning of the wedding and everyone had a great time there.

I originally chose this hotel because of its great location--in the chic Short North and close to so many great restaurants! I feel so fortunate that I was able to stay at the largest suite on the top floor. Our bridal party was very impressed by the great view and the elegant room decor. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing every aspect of planning my wedding with Sheri and the entire team at The Joseph was. From all the details and the amazing tasting food everything was just perfect and incredible memorable. All our guests raved about the hotel and how classy and comfortable it was as well. It was really nice for people to be able to just park their cars for the weekend and have all the options to walk around the short north and explore/shop. What an amazing and beautiful place to have our wedding! Minimal decorating is needing because of how absolutely gorgeous Le Meridien is. Our event coordinator at Le Meridien was so helpful, and made all of our dreams come true. Every single staff member was wonderful, and made us feel welcome, and special. And the food is remarkable! It was truly and evening we will remember for the rest of our lives.

We spent our wedding night here. The hotel staff were very inviting and even bought us breakfast. The view of Columbus is great and the rooms phenomenal. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary.
