They were extremely easy to work with, quick to respond and were able to accommodate any requests I had. The venue is beautiful on its own, but it was decorated for Christmas which made it even better!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Lemont the Friday night before our wedding. I mainly put my MIL in charge of the rehearsal dinner and she did not disappoint! The view was beautiful for our out of town guests, the food and drinks were outstanding and the service was excellent! The cost is also way more reasonable than you would expect! We highly recommend Bill and the Lemont staff for any event.

The wedding night was fabulous. Bill (planning) and Tom (on the day) were so helpful and I felt throughout the whole process and day of the reception that I made the right choice!! The venue provides fantastic food, a stunning view, and attentive service. Everything was perfect.

Bill (banquet manager) did an incredible job with our January 2023 wedding. The moment my husband and I entered the restaurant, Bill was there to welcome us and get us drinks. His waitstaff attended to us the whole evening, meaning we actually got to eat the delicious food! And might I say, our entrees came out piping hot. Everything was delicious, especially the cake! Oh, the cake... Everyone had an absolute blast at our wedding, and I can't imagine having had it anywhere else. How could you beat the view, food, and service of the LeMont? They even put a card in our card box. Thank you, Bill, for making our day SO perfect, and answering every single email over a year of planning.

We had our July 2022 wedding at LeMont and I could not have been any happier with my decision to host our wedding here. From the moment we first reached out and met with Bill, he made the entire process so easy for us. Bill is a seasoned professional with a staff that goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding. Not to mention, because of the view and decor of the restaurant you have the perfect backdrop for a classic and elegant Pittsburgh wedding with no need of additional \"extras\" which ultimately saves costs for you! Of course, it goes without saying that the food is incredible and our family and friends are still raving about their experience. THIS is classic Pittsburgh.

LeMont was an excellent venue for our wedding reception. LeMont is already quite well-known throughout Pittsburgh for its food—often, when we told people where our reception would be, they would get excited about how good our food and view would be.We won’t go into too many details on the wonderful location and view—that speaks for itself—but will say that it provided an excellent way for our out-of-town guests to enjoy Pittsburgh. Additionally, the space and decor at LeMont are so beautiful that even our florist thought that floral centerpieces would be unnecessary, which really helped us stay in budget.We worked with Bill Laughlin to plan our reception at LeMont. Bill is highly professional and was generous in accommodating our requests and answering our many, many questions. The hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and cake were all delicious and well-priced. The entire evening went very smoothly.One thing that we were surprised by (and so grateful for) was the way in which LeMont helped us to stay in budget. We felt that the pricing was extremely reasonable—and even generous—given the iconic view, the delicious food, and all the time and care that went into our reception. Before choosing LeMont as a venue, we had read positive reviews about their pricing, but we were still surprised by the degree to which it ended up being affordable.We highly recommend LeMont for a great wedding reception in Pittsburgh.

Bill and everyone at the LeMont made our wedding a night we will never forget! From the frantic need to relocate our wedding due to COVID (after pushing from 2020), to Bill's cool, calm, & collected demeanor upon meeting him, to his answering ALL the emails I sent to him between March and July, thanks to our rebooking during COVID, to the day of. We planned our wedding from out of state and he and his team were available to answer any and all questions via phone or email. They were even accommodating for our tasting to be a weekend we were in town. The day before, they received all our decorations - centerpieces, signs, favors, placecards and dozens of 50 different types of cookies and their nametags - all without hesitation or concern! Bill was at the door with catering carts and we were able to drop it all off, send pictures and descriptions of what went where and how the centerpieces were to be set up, and they took it from there. The new elevators they put in during COVID were life savers for this and for our older relatives that struggle with steps. Do not hesitate to book them! EVERYONE raves about the view, the FOOD, and the service! And the wedding party got appetizers and drinks in the cigar bar upstairs prior/during cocktail hour so we could take a breath, bustle my dress, and just enjoy a few moments of laughter without interruption. It was a dream come true venue and luckily was available months before our date without having to pick a 4th new date. When we walked down the stairs, we were in awe of how perfect it all looked. We cannot say enough good things about Bill and his team at the LeMont!

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we could've only dreamed of having it at the Lemont. Bill and his colleagues made our dream a reality! From the professionalism, to the organization, to the AMAZING food and drinks - everything was PERFECT.My wedding guests could not stop telling me how beautiful this venue is. Bill and Tony made it a perfectly organized and BEAUTIFUL day! I will be reminiscing about our wedding day for the rest of my life!

From the professionalism, to the organization, to the AMAZING food and drinks - everything was PERFECT.My wedding guests could not stop telling me how beautiful this venue is. I don't think I could've dreamed of a better wedding venue than LeMont. My husband and I had to postpone and change our wedding venue multiple times, thanks to Covid. LeMont was the most beautiful & elegant spot, and I am relieved that we ended up tying the knot there. I attribute a lot of the smoothness of the day to Bill Laughlin and the LeMont team. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and helpful during our planning process, and the day of. (When I was an anxious spaz during planning and the day of, to be honest.) The #1 compliment that we got from our guests was how delicious the meals were. (We picked the filet, chicken bruschetta, and salmon.) Everything from the valet, bar service, food, and the entire staff was all impeccable. I could not recommend LeMont enough, and I encourage any future bride to choose this venue. You will NOT be disappointed. :)

I am the Mother of the Bride, and the Lemont went above and beyond for my daughter's wedding last weekend. The view, the food, the service from the bartenders to the servers, and the most fabulous wedding cake! My daughter does not even like cake but Bill came up with cake that Erin loved and so did everyone else. Bill Laughlin was the lynchpin and the key to such a wonderful night, he answers your emails immediately, he kept everything running smoothly- I cannot say enough about him and his quiet management, it was the perfect place for our reception!

LeMont was even more perfect than we had imagined! Everyone commented on how great the food was. The entire staff was wonderful! The decor perfectly fit our old Hollywood glamour theme, and the view can't be beat! Bill made the whole planning process so simple!

I was so excited for all of our out of town guests to see this place. The food is 5 stars alone but you can’t beat the service. Bill is an extraordinary manager and is honestly the calmest and most easy going wedding vendor I’ve had the opportunity to deal with! He made our wedding planning so easy and smooth the whole way through. I could not have asked for a better night at the Lemont. I can’t wait to come here for every anniversary! It would be impossible to say enough wonderful things about the Lemont and their incredible staff! My fiancé and I started planning our wedding there in 2019, well before the COVID pandemic began. From early on during the pandemic up until the day of our wedding, Bill was incredibly calming and went out of his way to make our day perfect. His calming presence always made me walk away feeling a million times better about our wedding reception. The week of our wedding we had several cancelations due to COVID and the Lemont was flexible with us and never held us financially responsible for any guest who didn’t attend. They worked with us to solidify our seating chart up until the morning of the wedding. In addition to having the spacing however we wanted, they also accommodated having two guests per table who wanted to sit without others. They were the definition of accommodating and were truly caring in their service! Aside from Covid concerns, the Lemont is truly the most beautiful and elegant place to hold a wedding reception. The food cannot be matched anywhere else and the atmosphere is incredibly romantic! We simply dropped off our centerpieces, decorative items, etc to the restaurant on Friday and when we walked into the reception, everything was set up perfectly. I could not have asked for a more beautiful, accommodating, and romantic venue for a wedding. Bill and his staff are beyond compare! If you’re looking for a classy, elegant location with the kindest and most competent staff, the Lemont is the ideal place for you!

If I could give LeMont 100 stars, I would! LeMont went above and beyond the call of duty to make our very small wedding absolutely perfect for us! Bill, the banquet coordinator, was professional and made everything go off without a hitch! We had to downsize to a very small guest count due to covid restrictions and had to find a new ceremony and reception venue that would bring the “magic” for our day. My husband and I officially started dating at The LeMont, so we knew it would be a perfect fit. We just didn’t know how perfect at the time! Bill waived the normal minimum number of people required to reserve a private room on a Saturday night in light of the covid regulations. He also answered all of my emails and calls promptly- we had to pull everything together in just a little over a month, so there were a lot of details to work out! Bill was always calm, professional, and incredibly reliable.At the time of booking, we were their only wedding for our date, so we were booked for the portion of the huge downstairs room that has the prime view of the city. (This huge downstairs room is usually separated by a divider so as to make two still very large rooms). A few weeks before the wedding, Bill informed my mother-in-law that another small party would be on the other side of the downstairs room that evening. At some point on the day of the wedding, my mom mentioned that the owners of LeMont were actually going to be on the other side of the divider celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! To say I was shocked would be an understatement! I want to extend a sincere thank you to the owners of LeMont, Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap. I was truly touched and amazed that they permitted me and my husband to stick in the side of the room that has the particularly gorgeous Pittsburgh view. At any other restaurant with any other owners, we would surely have found ourselves bumped to the other side of the room, which while beautiful doesn’t possess quite the same iconic view of the city. It truly speaks to the Dunlaps’ character as well as that of LeMont as a whole that the owners as well as all staff put the guest experience at the forefront at all times. If I could give LeMont 100 stars, I would! LeMont went above and beyond the call of duty to make our very small wedding absolutely perfect for us! Bill, the banquet coordinator, was professional and made everything go off without a hitch! We had to downsize to a very small guest count due to covid restrictions and had to find a new ceremony and reception venue that would bring the “magic” for our day. My husband and I officially started dating at The LeMont, so we knew it would be a perfect fit. We just didn’t know how perfect at the time! Bill waived the normal minimum number of people required to reserve a private room on a Saturday night in light of the covid regulations. He also answered all of my emails and calls promptly- we had to pull everything together in just a little over a month, so there were a lot of details to work out! Bill was always calm, professional, and incredibly reliable.At the time of booking, we were their only wedding for our date, so we were booked for the portion of the huge downstairs room that has the prime view of the city. (This huge downstairs room is usually separated by a divider so as to make two still very large rooms). A few weeks before the wedding, Bill informed my mother-in-law that another small party would be on the other side of the downstairs room that evening. At some point on the day of the wedding, my mom mentioned that the owners of LeMont were actually going to be on the other side of the divider celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! To say I was shocked would be an understatement! I want to extend a sincere thank you to the owners of LeMont, Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap. I was truly touched and amazed that they permitted me and my husband to stick in the side of the room that has the particularly gorgeous Pittsburgh view. At any other restaurant with any other owners, we would surely have found ourselves bumped to the other side of the room, which while beautiful doesn’t possess quite the same iconic view of the city. It truly speaks to the Dunlaps’ character as well as that of LeMont as a whole that the owners as well as all staff put the guest experience at the forefront at all times. We dropped everything off to Bill in the morning and he and his team made sure to set everything up. Our bartender and server, Don, was incredible! He was so attentive and had a great personality. We had the most amazing reception at the LeMont. Bill and Tony are wedding connoisseurs & handled our large wedding reception with ease. We had a crazy amount of cookies that were displayed beautifully and everything was set up nicely and how we had requested. The restaurant is classic and beautiful which even takes stress away in the decorating process because things are already gorgeous in there. We even had our own special area for the bridal party before our entrances that makes you feel like your in the great Gatsby. The Pittsburgh view is stunning and we even lucked out with pirates post game fireworks during the reception. They accommodated to a selection of meals we chose for a large crowd, and although dinner was a little slower than projected timeline everything was cooked to perfection and every guest commented on how delicious their meals were. They made sure my husband and I were happy all night long and they couldn't have been nicer about our one million questions in the planning process. Gorgeous venue, great staff, fantastic food and surprisingly very reasonably priced for the high quality you get. Highly recommend the LeMont!

Half of the wedding guests were from out of town and they were overwhelmed with the amazing views and the whole setup of the venue. My guests were raving about all of the food choices. Good food and service.We would've liked more communication when it came to setting up the room. We reached out a few times to make this decision, but were always told it was someone else we needed to contact. The night of the event, it was difficult to talk to guests with the set up they chose and there were NO cocktail tables to mingle. We asked the staff to bring in cocktail tables, which they did right away. However, it was awkward they were doing set up while our event was happening.

Most of our guests are not from Pittsburgh, so when I was planning our wedding, I wanted to give our guests a day that really showcased the city. The LeMont is by far the absolute best location for that. There is not enough words to describe how beautiful the city looks from their banquet rooms. It makes for the most amazing backdrop. We had our wedding on 10/27/18 in the lower level. The space was perfect. We had our own private bar area with restrooms on that level, so we never even noticed another event in the upper space. It was perfectly private. The entire wedding planning process with Bill Laughlin, the event director was the absolute best. He was so kind and accommodating, understanding, responsive, and just generally so easy to work with. We did not have a wedding planner, so things could have stressed us out very easily, but it never did thanks to Bill and the amazing staff at the LeMont. When we got there for the reception everything was exactly as I had imagined it; the centerpieces, cookie table, cake, decorations, hors d'oeuvers...everything was perfect. Dinner service flowed perfectly with absolutely no issues and the waiters always made sure that myself and my husband had wine and were eating and taking time to enjoy the night. And the food was so so good...even better than at our tasting! At the end of the evening I was introduced to the owner who was just as kind as Bill and the rest of the staff. It's now almost been a month since our wedding and people are still talking about how amazing the LeMont was. Bill and everyone at the LeMont made our wedding reception perfect!

I cannot speak highly enough about Bill, Tony and the entire LeMont staff. They are true professionals. Very easy to work with and executed everything flawlessly on our big day. The food was obviously delicious and they were so accommodating for our guests with food sensitivities/allergies - not one mix up or complaint about the array of special requests we had. They also were able to serve four of our guests with special anniversary desserts. Everything went off without a hitch! The bartenders were excellent and knew every drink ordered by our guests. We had one guest even request nonalcoholic beer and they found some for us! The venue was beyond stunning. Honestly we didn't even need to bring in anything - it is beautiful on its own and you cannot beat the view. I would give more stars if I could they are that phenomenal!

I am so happy that we chose the LeMont to have our wedding ceremony and reception at. We had a lot of out of town guests, and the venue truly wowed them. There is not a single thing I would have changed about our wedding day. The LeMont made sure that my day was absolutely perfect. Our guests told us it was the fanciest wedding they had ever been to, that the food was delicious, and the view was spectacular. It’s hard finding a venue that knocks all your wish list items out of the park, and the LeMont did it. Bill Laughlin was also so easy to work with. He e-mailed back within a few hours which was nice, especially leading up to the wedding. You would have thought I was the only Bride he was working with, which I know is not the case since he has e-mailed me since my wedding and asked about one of my vendors. A Bride saw pictures of my reception and wanted to know one of my vendors. I think it shows how much he truly cares by going above and beyond to get this information to make another Bride’s day perfect. Bill also worked with all of my vendors to arrange set up and pick up times so that I didn’t have to stress. I was able to drop all of my décor off the day before, and the staff at the LeMont set it up beautifully with very little instruction. It was so nice not to have to stress about setting up the venue before the wedding. I was truly overwhelmed walking into the venue for the first time. Our ceremony was absolutely stunning since the setup is in the corner of the room overlooking the City. I loved showing off the City this way to our out of town guests! I would definitely recommend the LeMont to other couples looking for a wedding venue, it was truly amazing. Thank you, Bill and the rest of the staff, for making our day perfect!!

I could not rave enough about LeMont. The beauty of it is obvious. Our guests raved all night and every day after the wedding. The food was incredible. Appetizers were great. The cake was more beautiful than I had even imagined. But what REALLY made this place was Bill Laughlin, the banquet manager. Bill was amazing from the start. He replied to my millions of emails within an hour every time. He was SO accommodating. Basically everything I asked, he said yes to. He is really helpful with finding ways to keep the cost down, which is so nice because you expect people to push you to do the expensive option. Bill was there for the rehearsal and the whole day of. Every time I talked to him leading up to the wedding and the day of, he made me feel at ease. The whole staff was incredible the day of too. The view is the best in the whole city, the space was plenty big with room to spare, the staff is awesome, the food is amazing, it was just the most perfect venue for the most perfect day.

We were grateful for how easily everything fell into place at LeMont, but looking back at those \"thank goodness XYZ happened moments,\" other than the weather, I can only thank LeMont Restaurant and Bill Laughlin for making our wedding planning and weekend run smoothly. I live in NYC and had limited time to visit LeMont, making food selections, and decide on the decor. Bill was flexible with scheduling, making decisions over the phone or by email, and in our unique requests (e.g. making a DIY photobooth with the gold curtains in the cocktail hour space as a backdrop, and allowing us to having wine bottles as guest books). He was honest about costs, and we knew months ahead of time what to expect of the bill, and when to pay it. My Pittsburgh family would say comments like \"you must have spent a fortune at this venue,\" but in all honesty, I did vast research on affordability in Pittsburgh venues, and LeMont was the most cost-effective choice of the nicer places. I had both my wedding and my reception at LeMont, and they both turned out perfectly! In all honesty, I had always imagined my wedding at an outdoor venue, like a park or a botanical garden, but I am SO happy we decided to choose LeMont. We took our first look photos outside at a park, so I still had those classic, natural light photographs. Thank you SO much Bill and LeMont!

Tony and his team were an absolute joy to work with for our March 25 wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception at the same venue. Initially, I was disappointed that our guest count ended up being too large to accommodate the ceremony in the space the way I wanted. However, Tony and team were quick to problem solve and come up with another option that ended up working well on the day of. The ceremony space holds only 180-190 (we ended up having 210).All in all, the night ran seamlessly. We had dropped off all of the reception decor the night before, and the team set everything up exactly as I had requested. I have received (and am still receiving) countless compliments from our guests on the food, cake, and most importantly the view! We had a lot of guests from out of town, and with that stunning view of the city, we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

Bill and his team at the Le Mont were amazing and everything that we had planned ended up exactly as we hoped. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the LeMont was. We had both our ceremony and reception there and it was so easy and straightforward to plan. Bill, Tony, and the team were so accommodating; every issue/question I had was always quickly answered and every request was met. The downstairs private room was arranged nicely for the ceremony, giving everyone a view of the city as the backdrop for our vows. The wait staff was excellent; they even made sure to seek out the groom and I to be sure our glasses were filled, we had hors d'oeuvres, etc during the cocktail hour when we were taking family pictures. Dinner was delicious and efficient and the room was set up beautifully for the reception in such a short amount of time.

Unbelievable. This space is easily the best venue in Pittsburgh, hands down. Nothing can compete with what this venue offers - first class dining, attentive staff, gorgeous interior 1920's classic design, and THE VIEW. No other venue can offer the most breathtaking view in the country as their backdrop for their wedding while also providing 5 star meals. Everything went flawlessly. Bill Laughlin was amazing to work with - he would answer every trivial question of mine within an hour or so. He was able to accommodate every request I had from special drinks to after dinner snacks. Multiple times throughout the reception Bill went out of his way to find me and ask if I needed anything or what he could do to make the night better. I had many out of town guests at the wedding and over and over again people said that this was the best wedding that they have ever been to in their ENTIRE lives. Do not look anyway else - the LeMont is the only venue you should consider for a wedding reception! It was reasonably priced as well for the 5 star quality that we received. We expected the bill to be MUCH higher given the quality of our reception, but it was surprisingly affordable. THANK YOU to the LeMont for making our dreams come true and being the setting for the best day of our lives! We can't wait to come back and dine with you again and again.

Unbelievable. This space is easily the best venue in Pittsburgh, hands down. Nothing can compete with what this venue offers - first class dining, attentive staff, gorgeous interior 1920's classic design, and THE VIEW. No other venue can offer the most breathtaking view in the country as their backdrop for their wedding while also providing 5 star meals. Everything went flawlessly. Bill Laughlin was amazing to work with - he would answer every trivial question of mine within an hour or so. We had a ridiculous amount of cookies, and Bill ensured us that they could handle it (and they did)! Even when we had a few cancellations the day before the wedding, Bill was able to make the changes for us. \r\rThe day of the wedding was magical. All of the vendors worked directly with Bill to coordinate arrivals, etc. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was so smooth and the venue looked beautiful (despite some rain outside, the view was still amazing). The food and service were top notch. I couldn't have been happier with my experience! However, after looking into the packages and meeting with the banquet manager Bill, we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was completely affordable and an overall great value! \rPlanning was a breeze as Bill was responsive to every email (I think the longest amount of time I waited for a response was 4 hours). He answered every question with ease and helped us make sure everything was in place. I had a lot of moving pieces, with extra decor, a candy bar, cocktail hour, and sparkler send-off. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to the LeMont staff's excellent planning and professionalism. \rAside from the ease of planning with everything included in one package (bar, meal, cake, linens, space rental), you really cannot beat this venue for a Pittsburgh wedding. The view is breathtaking - I still have guests telling me that our wedding was a highlight of their summer. We used the lower banquet room, which was perfect as it offered tiered floors - one for dinner and dancing, the other with restrooms and bar. I set up an initial appointment at Le Mont about 18 months in advance for our Oct '14 wedding (second wedding for both me and my wife) and considered several other well respected and highly rated venues in Pittsburgh as well. After our initial meeting with Bill Laughlin, the Banquet Manager, I knew we were in very good hands. While I think all brides and grooms believe their unique requirements might be forgotten in the details, I will say that Bill inspired confidence in us that things would go precisely the way we wanted. On things we were unsure about he offered suggestions that allayed our concerns, sometimes it was just his comment to us \"Don't worry I'll take care of that\" that reassured us. We came to dinner there the next evening and after a few more questions and answers Bill had all of our paperwork prepared and we put the deposit down. Our next big planning event with LeMont was nearly a year later and that was the tasting which went extremely well...done personally for us, full sized portions of all the items we requested so we could see the meal size...very very nicely done. I had explained to Bill that a number of our guests would be restaurant and/or winery owners, and I wanted to feature the best items on the menu.\r\rThe wedding day approached and my soon-to-be-wife (who is local to Pittsburgh) did most of the coordinating and she commented how smoothly and perfect all the planning was going with Bill. In the day or two prior to the wedding we delivered all the items we needed to have there, and all vendors told us they too had a very easy time coordinating everything with the restaurant staff. The venue itself is truly one of the most amazing views you'll get in any city...perched atop Mt Washington overlooking the city and the stadiums. We had great weather for the afternoon and into the night.\r\rWe had our wedding ceremony and reception for about 100 guests in the larger banquet room and it all came off perfectly. Bill and Tony orchestrated all the timing for the entrances of the bridal party, cueing the DJ, and other musicians. The food was really excellent...how often do you hear that about a wedding? This is first and foremost a restaurant, and the food preparation seemed much more personalized and precise than what I've experienced elsewhere for large groups. The service was excellent throughout the night. We had high end wines and the top shelf bar, and the bar staff was great with my crowd. My friends from the restaurant and wine industry all remarked to me how much they enjoyed the meal.\r\rAt the end of the night there were no surprises in the final billing, and my wife and I felt we had the wedding of a lifetime. Bill, Tony, (and the owner Mr. Dunlap) made us and our guests truly feel like VIPs and we most definitely got our money's worth. Two and a half months later I can tell you that many of our guests have contacted us to say what a great wedding we had, and how much they enjoyed the food, the service, and the beautiful venue that reminded them of a gilded-age mansion. \r\rI would highly recommend LeMont for a wedding (or any other gala) for anyone who is looking for a Pittsburgh venue. My sincere thanks go to Bill for all the flawless coordination over 18 months leading up the wedding, and to both Bill and Tony for outstanding execution on the wedding day. We plan to continue to come back for many more special occasion dinners!

I have only good things to say about LeMont! Bill and the whole staff were wonderful. Bill was completely accommodating to all my requests - literally every time I emailed him asking to do something a certain way, or changing a decision, he made it happen. We had both our wedding ceremony and reception in the upper room (divided in half with a wall), and we had both a DJ and band, so I was a bit worried about how everything would come together, but these guys really are pros at this. The wedding was seamless and stress-free. My favorite aspects of Lemont were 1) It is such a fun atmosphere with a stunning backdrop that it's just impossible not to have a good time. So many of my guests told me it was one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to 2) The view - ohh my! We had our wedding on July 4th so of course the view was extra fabulous that night :) 3) Since the bar is not a flat per-head rate (its a running tab), it meant that we weren't cut off at a certain time or stuck with a 3 hour max, so I had my wedding from 4:30pm (10-minute ceremony) and ended it at around 11:30 - it was so fun having a long reception. (Side note - I was prepared for the bar tab to be ridiculous given the length of my wedding and the running tab, but it wasn't as much as I thought it would be and worked out to be pretty comparable to what a lot of other venues charge per head.. I guess a lot of the older relatives don't drink as much so it off-sets the booze-loving 20 somethings) 4) The running bar tab meant we could order pretty much whatever we wanted. I had a coffee baileys at one point - fabulous 5) The cigar lounge rocks and the gentlemen guests greatly appreciated it. So my recommendations: Do both the ceremony and reception there - they don't charge extra for the ceremony (or if they did it was minimal, I cant even remember) and the guests love not having to go to multiple places - tons of people told me how great it was to not have to travel all over the place. 2) Order the late night sliders - they were very reasonably priced and after hours of dancing the guests really appreciate it. 3) Opt for the cigar lounge (My husband's parents arranged the cigar lounge so I have no idea if there was a fee or not) but either way, it was awesome 4) Your wedding will fly by not matter what, so opt to have a long one! People don't drink much those last couple hours (after they've already been drinking for 3) so it wont make the bar tab that much higher than a shorter wedding reception, and its very much worth it. I really couldn't have asked for a more fun/beautiful wedding... a million thanks to Bill and his staff! Other recommendations: Kelley D’Atri from Mint Salon in Shadyside did my hair and the bridesmaids - she's my regular hair colorist as well, super talented. Mt. Lebanon Floral provided the most gorgeous faith rose / cream hydrangea bouquets and centerpieces, very reasonably priced versus the other places I checked out. Jessica Zamiska and her band, Velvet Heat, were amazing! So many people asked about them. Our DJ, Adam DeFlorio from Powerbomb Productions was also great - walked us through the whole day in advance, coordinated with the band, etc., I'd recommend him too.

\rOur wedding was Saturday April 12, 2014,this was just a few days after there was a landslid on Mt Washington, so needless to say major panic attack set in when they closed the LeMont for a few days. Bill was great in keeping us posted on the inspectors updates and assured us it would open back up in time for our wedding. On friday before the wedding we went up to the LeMont to drop off stuff for the wedding and Bill told us that they would be open for our wedding tomorrow and just in case he had a few venues on back up for us. Well the LeMont opened that Friday night and Bill called us to say it was all good for tomorrow. Bill and his staff was wonderful, the food was out of this world our guest are still talking about what a wonderful wedding it was. The owner even came in to congratulate us and to thank us for hanging in there with them during the landslide. We would highly recommend the LeMont for a wedding or any event, the view is priceless. We cannot say enough good about The LeMont. Bill Laughlin was the perfect combination of laid-back & responsive that we were truly impressed. He would e-mail back very quickly and was so very accommodating to our requests. He handled everything so calmly that it helped to calm us too. With LeMont hosting over 500 weddings, they know what they are doing. We showed up with over 200 dozen cookies+reception items & we were in and out faster than we ever could have imagined!! \r\rOur guests cannot stop raving about the wedding reception. The food was fantastic, the view from Mt. Washington is rated one of the top views IN THE WORLD and the service was incredible. \r\rWe were really scared of the price (especially the bar being consumption-based) but it was much more affordable than we ever could have imagined. We almost wrote them off as too expensive but when my husband persisted, we researched about more and realized how affordable it truly was. They spell out all the costs, there were no \"surprises\" at the end of the night. \r\rOur guests have been thanking us non-stop for weeks after. Both of our fathers stated they had multiple guests, some they didn't even know, (from the opposite side) approach them and thank them for \"letting\" them attend our wedding. It was just so incredible. We cannot say enough good about The LeMont and can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries there!!

The LeMont was an absolute perfect location for my wedding. It was the perfect size- we had about 115 people. \rThe food was AMAZING. I had so many people come up to me afterward and say its one of the best wedding food they've ever had. A few months before the wedding, we were given a dinner tasting where we got FULL PLATES of items on the menu that we were thinking of serving. SO GOOD. \r\rBill, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful in planning everything- making it much much easier for us! I felt like I didn't have anything to worry about! Even the week before the wedding, I would call with something that I was worrying about, but Bill would just put my mind at ease and took care of all my questions and concerns. \r\rThe location is perfect (especially for out of towners who've never seen the view) and it really doesn't require too much decorating since you have that great view! (We went with simple cylinder centerpieces). \r\rI would never have imagined how much less expensive the LeMont was advertised as compared to the other venues I had visited, but it was. \r\rThe day of, I only had a few complaints- the servers seemed to rush everything (trying to offer people coffee when they hadn't even finished their dinner... my husband and my cake plates were cleared from our table before we had even had a chance to touch it aka we didn't even get to try our own wedding cake b/c we were rounding to talk to our guests). \rBut, in response to that, Bill gave us two pieces of the restaurant's cake to take back to the hotel after the reception, which was really nice. \r\rAlso, my bar bill was far more than I had ever imagined it would be. The food was fairly priced, and the bar was based on consumption...and I had a lot of guests in the 20's (aka big drinkers) but it was way more than I had expected. Not necessarily the LeMont's fault, but that was kind of a hard blow. (Main reason why I gave Value 4 stars). \r\r\rOverall, I would absolutely recommend the LeMont for a wedding reception. I was so happy with my experience there.

My daughter is living out in the Philadelphia area as is her new husband, but got married back here in Pittsburgh where all of her family lives. We looked at many venues, from the Museum, Soldiers & Sailors, William Penn, Westin to other hotels since so many of the guests were going to be from out of town. After most of those venues just didn't feel right (we had a December 29, 2012 wedding date), we made a second look at the Pittsburgh area when they traveled in for another look. We stopped at the LeMont for dinner and a lookover. Once my daughter and her fiance saw the view and then ate the food - they knew that was going to be the place. My now son-in-law had never seen the city from that vantage and couldn't wait for his family to see it too. Bill and his team who handle the banquets was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Their Christmas decorations were beautiful and tasteful which blended beautifully with the colors of the wedding, champagne, ivory & black. He allowed us to offer 3 different meals along with a vegetarian - and every meal that was served that night came out hot, timed perfectly with all guests getting their meals and as good, if not better, than when we had our tasting. Every staff member was pleasant and very professional. We dropped off all the special items we had made for the reception, and all were displayed exactly as asked. My daughter was able to pick the design of wedding cake that she had chosen without any additional charges. Not only did it taste wonderful, the baker had made a suggestion to add a little more detail to the cake - which enhanced it without any additional charges. The bar was done on consumption (which we too were a little concerned with since most of the other places we looked at offer a per/person charge) but it worked out to come in at the estimated per person charge that was originally quoted to us in the very beginning. For most of the guests who had never been to Pittsburgh, the city & LeMont put on a beautiful show for them. We had had a little snow dusting that day, but turned into a clear night to see the city. Not only that, but the lights were on Heinz Field which just added to the skyline. People haven't stop telling us that this was one of the best weddings they had every been to. Everything my daughter envisioned for her wedding reception - was matched or exceeded. We had around 170 people which was a perfect number for the large downstairs room (although they say can handle 250 - might be pretty crowded at that). They gave us the flexibility of doing tables of 6, 8 and 10 which made it nice that you didn't have to stick someone at a table just to fill a spot. Top to bottom, the LeMont was a 5 Star Venue...

This place is amazing to be at! If you're looking for a great view of the city of Pittsburgh while dining with friends and family, then this is the place to be! Everything was great from the service to the food! It can be a little pricey but, it was so worth every cent!

The staff of LeMont restaurant is extremely professional and were \"on top of their game\" for our September reception. Anyone who knows this restaurant can tell you that the view is fabulous, but what was really surprising was how immaculately executed every last detail of the reception was. Things that I had not even thought to ask for were taken care of by Bill and his staff. All I had to do was drop off the decor and explain what I wanted, and they took care of the rest.\r\rThe food is very appropriately priced and was truly above and beyond the normal wedding fare. The only warning that I must convey is the pricing for the bar. The bill is based on consumption and the prices are very steep. If you come from a family of heavy drinkers (like I do) be sure to OVER estimate on the bar. We limited the hours that the bar was open in an attempt to keep prices low, but still had a final bill a few grand higher than expected. That said, the food bill ended up being a few grand LOWER than expected, so it kind of balanced out. \r\rThis place is worth every penny that you put into it, and you save a lot of money on the decor since it's so beautiful already that not much is needed. My guests would not stop gushing about how it was the best venue they had ever been to for a wedding, and they did NOT want to leave when the reception finally ended.\r\rI recommend the LeMont to any Pittsburgh bride who wants to show of the beauties of the city.

The venue was beautiful and you truly can't get a better view in Pittsburgh. The service was excellent, food was amazing. I just recently had my wedding at the Lemont and it was great! The service was the best I had ever had at a wedding. The guests were all served hot food within 15 minutes of our meal being served and there is nothing else in the city that has that view and atmosphere.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Lemont. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The view is breathtaking, the food was phenomenal and the service top notch. The Lemont also supplied our wedding cake which was red velvet. The only thing they are lacking is that they do not have a dressing room or adequate area to get ready. They did section off a space for me to \"hide\" in though before the ceremony started.

Bill and Tony were wonderful leading up to the event - they were so accommodating with all of my questions and requests. I was making changes to table configurations, entrees and other details up to the last minute, and they handled everything with ease. The venue is beautiful, and you truly can't get a better view in PIttsburgh. All of our out of town guests were stunned. Originally I hadn't looked into the LeMont because I thought it would be out of my price range, but ended up being less expensive than other premier Pittsburgh venues, and I truly believe we ended up with a more beautiful and elegant reception.

When we (bridal party) arrived before cocktail hour was over, they let us hang out in the 'cigar room' & have hors de vours which was very appreciated. Valet was seamless, dinner was DELICIOUS, and the view was breath-taking. Did not disappoint, would plan another wedding/party here again!!!

I recently had my wedding reception at the LeMont. Everything was better than I had ever dreamed. It was absolutely gorgeous! Bill took care of everything and went above and beyond to make anything and everything I wanted happen. He set everything up perfectly and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Everyone couldn't stop commenting and taking pictures of the view. It was a great experience for everyone! We had a blast. It was a perfect day! We were in the room upstairs and it was the most beautiful setup – the room setup (guest tables, cake table, gift table, etc.) was perfect and the view of downtown Pittsburgh was unbelievable. All of the folks at the LeMont – particularly the banquet managers, Tony and Bill – were so helpful throughout the whole process; they did an outstanding job helping us to setup for the reception and were totally on top of things during the event – ensuring that everything ran like clockwork. The reception was a few weeks ago and I still have friends and family contacting me to say how much fun they had at the reception and how picturesque the setting was. It really couldn’t have been a better experience working with the folks at the LeMont and our wedding reception couldn’t have been more perfect!

If you want to be treated like a King and Queen and you're getting married in Pittsburgh... there is no other place I would recommend. The food is exceptional, the service spectacular and the view is to die for. There is not enough to say about LeMont. Having my wedding there was a no brainer...Everything was perfect and set up in a very classy and elegant manner. Bill and Tony have an amazing understanding of what is important to brides and how to make the experience most memorable. Everyone at my wedding had an excellent time. Having a lot of out of town guests made the view even more beautiful. The entire party left happy and stuffed!!!

What an amazing place for our reception! The food was outstanding, the view is spectacular, (all of our out-of-town guests were thoroughly in awe), and the service is the best. Bill Laughlin, the banquet manager, was more than accommodating. He was there for us every step of the way. He is extremely attentive and so wonderful to work with. Tony Fratangelo (assistant banquet manager), was equally fantastic. These guys will not let you down. Everything was perfect.

What an amazing place for our reception! The food was outstanding, the view is spectacular, (all of our out-of-town guests were thoroughly in awe), and the service is the best. It had been my daughter's dream to have her wedding reception at LeMont. We were afraid that the dream was out of our grasp - but we were pleasantly surprised to learn just how affordable the LeMont is!\r\rBill Laughlin and his staff were fantastic. They really worked with our budget and provided us with an elegant and first class reception. They also set up ALL of the centerpieces, gift table, escort card table, place cards, favors at each seat, etc. They gave 150%! The staff was very courteous and attentive to our guests during the evening.\r\rI can't compliment or rave about LeMont enough!
