There are gorgeous flowers, plants, and even peacocks that roam the ranch. Our Historic Hacienda can accommodate groups of up to 250 people with 2 ceremony locations: In front of the Hacienda and the Pepper Tree Patio. There are endless of backgrounds for beautiful photos. Leo Carrillo really went above and beyond to give us the wedding of our dreams! We only toured this venue (we had 3 locations on our minds) and knew the second we saw it that it was the spot for our big day! It is BEYOND beautiful (the roaming peacocks are a pretty cool perk and a crowd pleaser)!The process was so easy from start to finish. Wedding planning can be EXTREMELY stressful, but Leo Carrillo made it such a relaxing and fun experience! They were on top of communicating, and answering my many questions throughout the planning process. Everyone that we worked with was so sweet and receptive!Fast forward to our wedding day...it was an absolute DREAM! The setting was gorgeous and our day of coordinator Stephanie was the BEST! Everything went off without a hitch, and Stephanie was to thank for that! We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue, food (Taco Bar Package - many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had), and service that Leo Carrillo/ Personal Touch Dining provided! I would recommend this location to any and all brides who want a relaxing planning process and a magical wedding day!Thanks again for making it a day we will NEVER forget!

Wow! We absolutely loved having our wedding at Leo Carrillo. I initially didn't check this spot out because I didn't want a \"ranch style\" wedding, but I am so glad I went to see the property. We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at Leo Carrillo Ranch! We looked at 8+ wedding venues around the San Diego area and we fell in love with Leo Carrillo Ranch as soon as we set foot on the property. As the majority of our wedding guests would be visiting from the east coast, our goal was to have a wedding that felt very “southern California” and reflect the beauty of the area - and Leo Carrillo could not have been more perfect! The natural beauty of this venue is truly out of this world. We absolutely loved the look of the historic hacienda and the plants and cacti around the property make it so special! And the peacocks are so unique and fun! Besides how much we loved the venue, working with the Leo Carrillo / Personal Touch Dining staff was absolutely incredible. We originally booked our contract with a staff member that was no longer with the company as we got closer to the wedding date, and we were a bit nervous when there was the transition to the new employees as we had not met them yet. But Samantha and Vicki absolutely blew us away! They were both absolute joys to work with and they were so insanely great at communicating with us throughout the entire process. As I was a very anxious bride, they dealt with my many (MANY!) questions and always responded with such kindness and reassurance. Due to their communication, the wedding planning process felt so much easier. The entire team was so accommodating and even made edits to the food menu when requested and helped recommend how many ingredients we would need for our custom signature cocktail recipe. All of our guests gave such great feedback about the food and drinks!!! We really just felt like we were in such good hands and we were so well taken care of throughout the process. And now for our day-of-coordinator - we met Sam the day before the wedding at our rehearsal and we were absolutely blown away! She was incredibly kind, comforting, and knowledgeable and she really helped put me at ease when I was so nervous. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond and we were treated like royalty - she always made sure we had fresh drinks in our hand and she had dinner plates made up for us! She also kept us on track with the schedule and she even did things that we were not expecting at all, like helping with the decor and centerpieces. She was such a dream to work with and I felt so grateful for her the entire day! These pictures don’t do the venue enough justice but just go visit and see for yourself if you are looking for a wedding venue! We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Leo Carrillo Ranch and Personal Touch Dining - thank you SO much Sam, Samantha, and Vicki, we are forever grateful!

Leo Carrillo is a gorgeous venue! We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding. Every single part of our special day was exactly how we imagined it. The Personal Touch Dining team was so easy to work with! You guys went above an beyond to make our wedding so special. Leo Carrillo is a gorgeous venue! We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding. Every single part of our special day was exactly how we imagined it. Wedding date: Sunday, July 2, 2023 (2 PM-8PM)Mary and I waited over 10 years to get married and we wanted our wedding day to be very special and unforgettable. Our expectations were exceeded!!!The outdoor wedding venue at Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch in Carlsbad, CA, was absolutely stunning! The all-in-one venue was unique in that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in different locations at the ranch, which made it unique – all outdoor and naturally beautiful with plenty of shade! This venue was managed by Personal Touch Dining, Inc., of San Diego, CA. EVERYTHING was perfect! The food was amazing and plentiful, the middle-tier bar package we selected did not disappoint, and the wedding cake made by the bakery included in the package was special. Additionally, we selected the DJ and florist from their preferred vendors list and we couldn’t be happier with their services!We looked at 13 venues in various locations and chose Leo Carrillo Ranch due to the location (destination wedding for many of our Northern California guests), beautiful outdoor setting in a rustic ranch setting that is well maintained (peacocks on the grounds a nice plus), convenient all-in-one package offered by Personal Touch Dining, and surprisingly lower cost than other venues.All of our 125 guests had a blast including the children under 10 years of age! The venue had a grass area next to the bar with games for our guests to play and socialize... good times. A truly magical and special place! My husband and I got married here this year and had a smaller wedding with around 65 people, mostly from out of town and abroad. We wanted to have our wedding somewhere we could visit again on anniversaries and that truly captured southern California history and vibes. With the old Spanish-style hacienda and absolutely gorgeous landscaping, we couldn't have found a more intimate and inspiring venue (and a big plus is you don't have to spend much on flowers or decorations because the venue itself is so beautiful!). Beyond the venue, the Personal Touch Dining staff were excellent. We wanted something all-inclusive so we didn't have to stress too much and could just enjoy the day and let me tell you, they went above and beyond in so many ways. Such kind and helpful people, you'd think we were the only people getting married there. They kept us on track with planning and were so supportive leading up to the event. The tasting event was so fun (although I wish they had more vegetarian options to try) and the rehearsal was lighthearted and got me really excited for the wedding! Those last few weeks before a wedding can be an overload of last-minute logistic planning and decoration organizing (my husband and I leave things to the last minute), but the rehearsal put it all into perspective and grounded us in the real reason we were doing all this....to have a sacred marriage ceremony and a bitchin' party with all our loved ones! AND THEN THE DAY OF! WOW. I was speechless. The care and attention the day-of coordinator, Stephanie, put into setting up our decorations, keeping the schedule going, and just bringing good vibes and fun to every interaction. We could not have been more lucky and blessed. I was a pretty nervous bride who struggles being the center of attention, but Stephanie kept us grounded with her smile and encouragement. It made me so happy to see all the day-of staff having fun too! Overall, I cannot express how grateful we are to Personal Touch Dining for our experience. Most of our guests said it was the most incredible wedding they'd been to and my husband and I will cherish the day forever, so thank you.

We could not have asked for a better venue or services. Our wedding was everything we imagined and more. We didn't have a worry, concern or need to lift a finger as everything was done for us and very done well. We just had to enjoy the celebration! Personal Touch Dining was extremely helpful with recommendations, communication once the contract was signed and the entire planning process. The only thing I will warn you about are the costs. They advertise the venue as being \"all-inclusive\" but please be aware that the term only includes the meal, service and venue. It does not include extra fees, gratuities, outside vendors or upgrades. That is ALL extra cost on top of the already pricy venue. If money is tight, I would not suggest this venue, but if you have money to spare and to go all out, then I HIGHLY recommend it. My groom and I were blindsided at the beginning not knowing that there was quite a lot of extra costs outside of what they were indicating as \"all-inclusive.\" I'm just saying, be mindful and get all the information up front. Ask lots of questions because there are A LOT of hidden costs that you may not expect.

We had such a beautiful wedding here. All outdoors with ample, clean restrooms. The trees and historic casitas were the perfect backdrop to our wedding. Sam and Vicki helped make all the planning so easy. They offer a group tasting with other couples that was fantastic, we got to taste a bunch of their food. THE FOOD! So amazing. I’ve had multiple people tell me how good the food was, and it was! The day of coordinator they provided was the absolute best- if you’re lucky enough to get paired with Josie, your wedding will run seamlessly.

We're incredibly glad we went with Personal Touch Dining for our wedding! The planning process was really easy, I definitely recommend them for anyone from out of town. There was something so special about the classic California vibes nestled into the most quaint and beautiful beach town. The majority of our guests were attending from out of town, and we were so happy to be able to offer them the feeling of a true destination wedding right in Southern California. We loved that LCR offered a full service experience, including catering, bar services, day of coordination and most of the necessary decor in their base package. From the very beginning, communication was quick and easy, with prompt responses and thorough communication with all of our vendors. Samantha and her team put us at ease leading up to the wedding and most importantly, on the big day. They executed our vision well and were able to supplement our decor with many complimentary touches. While numerous upgrades are available, the space is so gorgeous on its own we didn’t even need them. Shoutout to our day of coordinators, Sam and Stephanie, who seamlessly corralled our large wedding party and kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed or taking us away from feeling present on our big day. As soon as my husband and I stepped foot onto the grounds of Leo Carrillo Ranch, we immediately knew it was the one. It is so naturally beautiful and peaceful. Honestly the photos online don’t do it justice! You must see it in person and experience it for yourself. In addition to the beautiful venue, I can’t say enough good things about our entire planning process with the Personal Touch dining team. From start to finish, they made it SO easy. No need for a wedding planner, they really handle all the details for you minus florals and any added decor (which you don’t need much of). For everything you get with the all inclusive package, it is an ABSOLUTE STEAL. Basically, if you want to be stress free while planning + get married in a place that is going to get you tons of compliments without totally breaking the bank - this venue is for you. ONLY DOWNFALL AND CON of this venue is that your event must end at 10. We had a fun after party at a nearby bar which made up for it and more than half of our guests showed up because they wanted to keep the party going! Ended up working out just fine :)

Our day of coordinator, Derek, was perfect in the way he moved things along during the rehearsal and in all of his help the day of. He was a great communicator and very fun while still being professional. Everything went smoothly and the venue of course was gorgeous - we had so many compliments from our guests. The food was delicious (also received many guest compliments) and the drinks and bartender were awesome. My husband and I toured over 10 venues throughout Southern California in search of a unique, spacious, and romantic location. The moment we stepped foot at Leo Carrillo, we knew this was where we wanted to begin our next chapter.Unfortunately, we were told 2 weeks prior to our wedding day that our coordinator whom we had been communicating with for over a year no longer worked at the company. Despite my concerns, the team at Personal Touch Dining (specifically our new coordinator DEREK) was an absolute dream! Derek was so attentive, patient, organized, and honestly I felt like he was my fairy godmother of the day! Many of our guests are still talking about how great the food was! My husband and I got engaged in 2020 and started looking for venues shortly after. We met with several different venues, but as soon as we met with Kendra during the venue tour, we knew Leo Carrillo Ranch was going to be OUR wedding venue. Not only is the grounds BEAUTIFUL, Kendra made us feel so comfortable and reassured at our very first meeting. She continued to do so all the way through the end of our wedding day. We got married in March 2022 and the flow of our wedding seemed effortless. Kendra and the rest of her team definitely KNOW what they are doing. They are so extremely organized and they make things easy for the bride and groom. I felt like my stress levels as the bride were much less during the planning and day of the wedding, and it is all thanks to Kendra and the rest of the team. We unfortunately got rain on our wedding day and Kendra worked with me everyday before to plan and change things up to make sure our guests were warm and dry. The whole team will go far and beyond for the bride and groom to make sure your day is absolutely perfect. My husband and I are so thankful that we got to get married at Leo Carrillo Ranch and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is planning a wedding!

Planning a wedding is stressful, having a whole team behind you to help you the from start to finish takes away so much of that. From their all-inclusive, yet extremely customizable venue I was just waiting for the catch.. but there was none!! The value of what you receive for the extremely reasonable price is unmatched. Their team is a brides dream come true!!The venue manager, Kendra, was SO helpful throughout the entire process, she guided us with her expertise and answered any and all questions we had throughout the planning process. I would’ve been so lost planning a wedding without her. She made any big or small requests we made happen. We even threw out a crazy idea for food, expecting a no, but instead got an OF COURSE!! Our wedding food was very specific with dietary requests, but EXCEEDED our expectations by a landslide! Every bride needs a Kendra in their life when planning a wedding! Caitlin was the BEST day of coordinator!!! From the rehearsal to our wedding day. She handled our big, crazy group of friends/family with ease at the rehearsal and made everything run smooth and timely. On our wedding day she seemed to magically appear at all the right times when we needed her, but out of sight when we didn’t. She was in all the right places at all the right times. She is professional yet just so comfortable to be around. Our wedding day went as smooth as it did because of Caitlin! She is magic! Our gifts, food, wedding items and everything else we needed directly after the wedding were ready & packed up right when we were. We felt like celebrities who didn’t need to lift a finger. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing! I could cry right now because I love this venue and the staff so much. We went through 4 postponements due to Covid and Kendra made sure to hold my hand all the way through the process. She is super nice, communicative and reassured me of EVEYTHING. Answered all of my questions! I am a very \"need to know everything\" bride and Kendra and team understood and welcomed that and made sure everything was flawless! This venue was a dream! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and every detail was put together exactly as I'd dreamed by Kendra, Andrea, and the rest of their team. I had the least stressful time planning our big day, Personal Touch Dining took care of it all.. tables, linens, AMAZING food, drinks, coordinating with the rental companies, suggesting the BEST DJ (shoutout to Manny!), and all the other details. I was hesitant to book a venue that was all inclusive, figuring that all the decor/linens and what not wouldn't match what I'd hoped, but everything was catered exactly to my taste. We loved working with Kendra and her team, they're the sweetest, most personable individuals who really make you feel seen. The Ranch is so natuarally beautiful too, the guests still go on about how much they loved the venue, the food, and their overall experience. I highly reccommend choosing this spot for a gorgeous stress-free wedding!! :)

We got married a couple of weeks ago at Leo Carrillo Ranch, and it has been such a hard come down back to reality after such a perfect day. The venue is beautiful, it has history, it has PEACOCKS, and because it is owned by the city it has a small price tag compared to privately owned venues of a similar caliber (or at least that is my hypothesis just based on my own wedding venue research-but we certainly feel like we got our monies worth and then some).Love this venue - but the pièce de résistance...KENDRA. Or Saint Kendra as she is known around our household. There are not enough words to articulate how much appreciation I have for this woman.I never dreamed about having a big wedding. I never wanted a big wedding. I have social anxiety, I hate being the center of attention, and I hate making executive decisions. I am also a procrastinator and a perfectionist (bad combo), so planning and anticipating this wedding was, for me, less ‘fun and exciting’ and more stress, work, and anxiety (especially with all the extra issues COVID added). But when it came down to the rehearsal day and wedding day, when my anxiety was at its peak levels, Kendra was ON IT. She is so smart, capable, and hard working. She gifted me the feeling of – everything is going to be perfect, and she will take care of everything from here. It allowed me to just enjoy all the moments that flew by so fast. If anything did go wrong that day – I did not know about it. She knew what to questions to come to me with and what to not bother me with. She managed our crazy family members perfectly. I feel so lucky to have had her with me that day – she really did just the most amazing job. If I had to do it all over again, I’d pick Leo Carrillo/Kendra & PTD team again in a heartbeat.And one final – Thank you, Kendra. I really mean that from the bottom of my heart.

First of all, the venue is just gorgeous around every corner and provides such a joyful setting. Secondly, when you choose Leo Carillo, you also get the Personal Touch Dining team and venue/day-of coordinators. After the wedding, my husband and I kept asking, how could we have done this without them? They did so much for us, it made the whole process so much easier and took away SO much stress. Even though they explained the breadth of their services for us at the initial meetings, it’s not until after the wedding that we truly understood how much they did and how above and beyond they went. It can get scary how much you spend for a wedding - but afterwards we were left shocked thinking that we didn’t have to pay more than we did for the venue and services they offer - what you get for the price of their weddings is beyond what you could get anywhere else. They just make everything so, so easy. Beyond that, they truly listen to you and will go above and beyond to make your wedding perfect. The fact that they set up and take down the décor for you is a HUGE plus! They have a lot to offer but if you want to personalize everything yourself, you can do that too. The food, drinks, and desserts were so much better than your standard wedding fare. Most of all, our coordinators Kendra and Andrea truly made the whole process easy and fun. Any time we felt any stress or anxiety, after talking to Kendra or Andrea we felt completely at ease. They have everything under control and really know what they’re doing, you can trust them. They are pros and were with us from start to finish on the day of the wedding - everything ran perfectly smoothly thanks to them. If you choose Leo Carillo, you won’t have to worry about a thing and can just ENJOY your big day. We are forever grateful we chose Leo Carillo/Personal Touch Dining.

Leo Carrillo Ranch was an absolute dream to get married at! We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was from our guests. Kendra was AMAZING. We were almost a “Covid couple” but Kendra and the Personal Touch Dining team did everything they could to ensure the venue and capacity was fully open for our wedding and it happened! She was available and would respond quickly every time I emailed her and would often call me to reassure my concerns throughout this entire process. To be clear, the service and venue on the day of the wedding was magic. It was the happiest moment of both of our lives as cliche as that is to say, it’s true. The coordinator was incredibly helpful and loving. I adored her. She made sure I was fed and that I had time to enjoy my own wedding. She made sure timing was perfect and all of the events ran smoothly. An angel. I got mixed reviews on the food, but it was mostly positive. Personally I thought it was delicious.My critique for improvement has to do with the lead up. When I was setting up to booking Leo Carrillo, I worked with a different coordinator. Several weeks later, I was switched to a different coordinator, and then one month before the wedding is when I had my final coordinator assigned to me. The frequent change of hands was a bit odd and we had to go through a few email chains to keep everyone on the same page. I completely understand though, within a year there can be a lot of transition within the organization. Hand offs were successful. I only wish I had more reminder emails and check-in emails before key important dates (IE: checks due, meetings scheduled, decorations due, confirmation emails). For the most part, I was told once and the responsibility was mine months in advance. That’s reasonable, but some curtesy correspondence would be really helpful.Thank you so much Leo Carrillo team.

Honestly I wish we could give more than 5 stars. Not only was the venue breathtaking, but the team took such incredible care of us from day 1 until the day of. We truly felt like every single hope we had for the day came to life, and it was the best day we could’ve hoped for! PS the team is AWESOME. Cannot day enough great things about everyone who worked with us. A huge thanks to Kendra for supporting our questions and making everything come to life!

I got married at Leo Carrillo Ranch about a month ago. I found this venue through the Knot and fell in love with the photos. I inquired with Personal Touch Dining (the company who coordinates events at the park) and loved that they were all inclusive. We had about 220 people at our wedding and they provided tables, chairs, table cloths, all plating, glasses, utensils, catering staff, and even giant Jenga and corn hole! What really sold me was that they provided a day of wedding coordinator and a venue manager. Kendra was my venue manager. I emailed and called her with any and all questions and she always got back to me pretty quickly. Even when I got her \"Out of Office\" message, she still responded within 24 hours. I met her at our food tasting and she was so sweet. And the food that we tasted, SO GOOD!! Our guests raved to us for weeks how good our food was. The location is beautiful and has so many great areas for photos. We didn't even have a photo booth because I wanted our guests to enjoy the park and use the landscape as their background instead of being in front of a sheet. I would definitely recommend inquiring about here, or with Personal Touch Dining .

Leo Carrillo was the second venue we toured and literally booked it the next day. It’s lush, beautiful (day AND night), has a great staff, and there is literally not a bad spot on the property.The entire team is wonderful. We had a few different points of contact through the process, but each person was able to keep up with our ideas and what we wanted for our wedding. They answered emails and questions so quickly and never forgot one detail. The wedding day itself went so perfectly. Our day of coordinator was Kendra. In the words of my mother, “Kendra is OUTSTANDING.” The wedding day was so smooth. The whole day I never questioned or worried about anything going wrong or being crazy, Kendra had it all under control. Plus, she is like a magician. She would literally appear out of nowhere to grab us for whatever was happening (pictures, dance, cake cutting, etc) and then would be out of site when she wasn’t needed. My mom was so happy and raved to me about Kendra dropping the gifts and cards into her car and returning the key to her purse without my mom ever having to leave the party. My husband and I wanted to do a private last dance at the very end of the night to enjoy the moment together. Kendra was able to round up all of our guests to get them lined up for our exit without them even knowing we were staying behind for a few minutes. She collected the items we told her we needed from the bridal suite, and had them on the golf cart waiting for us, then dropped us off with our ride. Literally every guest has told us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. It’s been almost three months since our wedding and I look at pictures daily. I can’t believe how well it came together and just how much more beautiful everything was from what I imagined. I'm so happy we got married at Leo Carrillo!

We toured this venue but actually ended up going with Mt. Woodson castle (same catering company). All Saturdays in 2020 were already booked at Leo Carrillo ranch (except one in November). Leo Carrillo was very beautiful and the venue does almost everything for you. One of our concerns was the fact that it had to end at 10pm (weekends) or 8pm (Sundays and weekdays) and the bridal/groom suites. They were basically a shed with a chair in it. No bathroom. Really not a good space to get ready/hang out. Kendra was great and very helpful though!

I got married at Leo Carrillo on 6/29 and am still living on newlywed cloud 9. I might be slightly biased but I think that we had the best wedding ever and the most beautiful wedding ever. Leo Carrillo had a lot to do with the later. The space is so absolutely stunning that it doesn't need much embellishment at all. I would also like to mention that the twinkly lights everywhere somehow make the place even more magical at night, which from all my visits prior I had never had a chance to see before and was such a great surprise.We booked the venue well in advance, somewhere between a 18 months and year. So I had the opportunity to work with a few people within the company in that time, as people moved around in positions within the company. I was slightly nervous when a couple months in advance of the wedding a new person took on the lead planning role. However, all my fears were for nothing, because Kendra is amazing! She kept the day running smoothly and never made me feel like I was on a clock. Even my family and friends commented on how wonderful she was as a person and at her job.I also feel like our money went incredibly far with the venue and catering. The ambiance alone of the venue made our wedding look more expensive, by far, than it was.If you also would like the most beautiful wedding in the world, book Leo Carrillo.

My husband and I loved working with Leo Carrillo Ranch! This was the perfect venue for our rustic boho vibe. Everything was very clear in the contract and we were not blindsided by any hidden fees/rules. Personal Touch Dining was included as the caterer (great food) and they had suggestions for vendors who have worked with Leo Carrillo before, have insurance, etc. which made stressful wedding planning so much easier. The best thing about Leo Carrillo though was the staff, Nikka, sales/venue manager, and Kendra, our day of coordinator, were both unreal! You do not have to worry about a thing working with them because they've got it covered, which was such a relief for us! They are both so on top of EVERYTHING and so organized! Nikka was always checking in with us via e-mail, answered all of our random questions so quickly and efficiently, and just an overall positive person that was fun to work with. Kendra was our extremely sweet day of coordinator who ran the show like a boss! I seriously do not know what we would have done without her! I would recommend them a million times!

Leo Carrillo Ranch was BY FAR the BEST QUALITY venue for the best price! If you're looking for a wedding venue, this place is amazing. The wedding planners do everything and all you have to do is pick the details! You only have to provide minimal decorations because the venue itself is beautiful as is! They set up everything and then take everything down - and when things didn't go as planned, the planner fixed everything so we didn't even have to lift a finger or stress out. All of our guests raved about the quality of the food. I don't think this place has as much exposure as it should!

We just had our wedding on 9/29/18 and WOW I cannot express how happy I am that we chose Leo Carrillo Ranch / Personal Touch Dining for our wedding. It was truly the best day of our lives and I feel like a HUGE part of that is thanks to LCR and the staff that they have. Leah was our coordinator throughout the whole planning process and Nikka was our day of coordinator. Leah was very communicative throughout planning, always nice, and very accommodating. I could not have asked for anyone better than Leah, she is so professional and great at what she does! Every question we had she had an answer. Nikka was perfect day of. She made us all feel calm and somehow was able to rally up our huge wedding party whenever needed. She did little touches throughout the day that made huge impacts on us, like handing us our chosen drinks of choice right after we walked down the aisle as Mr. & Mrs., got our order and brought us our food, and continuously would ask us throughout the night if we still wanted to do x, y, or z (ex. discrete cake cutting, etc). We actually changed our minds with quite a few things as the night went on so it was great. The staff as whole was amazing!!! Leah instructed us that if we have our own décor for the wedding that we should leave notes on each item for the staff to put out day of. They did such a great job, for a lot of it I asked them to use their judgement of where to put things and it was absolutely beautiful. The venue is gorgeous and somehow the day of a wedding looks 1000x better than when you come on a regular day. The vendors they recommend are all great, especially DJ Nick Weiss, the photo bus, and Adore Folklore Rentals! We really could not have dreamed of a better wedding, it went so smoothly and if there were any kinks we had nooo idea. So thank you SO much again to everyone at LCR / Personal Touch Dining!!!!

Personal Touch Dining handled the venue coordination at Leo Carrillo Ranch for our October 2017 wedding. The day before the wedding, Leah handed us off to Nikka, the Leo Carrillo Ranch venue coordinator. She was also fantastic. Nikka was organized, bubbly, and kept the night moving. Biggest thanks to Leah and Nikka both for making our day perfect!Finally, Personal Touch Dining did a fantastic job with the food. We opted for the citrus & oregano marinated tri tip, rustic chicken, garlic & chive whipped potatoes, and a zucchini & pepper medley. The food was SO good!!! I’ve never eaten buffet-style food that tasted so fresh. We had many compliments from our guests on the food!Thank you for doing such a wonderful job with our wedding, Personal Touch Dining. Wow, we had the best day of our lives! What a beautiful, happy, relaxing wedding! The employees at Leo Carrillo / Personal Touch are fantastic. Leah & Nikka are both terrific at their jobs, and I don’t know what we would have done without them. Leah’s hard work, efficiency, attention to detail, and responsiveness was so appreciated during the planning, and Nikka’s positive, chill, upbeat, helpful vibe on the wedding day was so soothing and wonderful. They all did such a wonderful job to make the day run so smoothly. Everything tasted amazing, everything looked great, everyone was very helpful and nice. Wow, we had the best day of our lives! What a beautiful, happy, relaxing wedding! The employees at Leo Carrillo / Personal Touch are fantastic. Leah & Nikka are both terrific at their jobs, and I don’t know what we would have done without them. Leah’s hard work, efficiency, attention to detail, and responsiveness was so appreciated during the planning, and Nikka’s positive, chill, upbeat, helpful vibe on the wedding day was so soothing and wonderful. They all did such a wonderful job to make the day run so smoothly. Everything tasted amazing, everything looked great, everyone was very helpful and nice. Personal touch dining took care of our rentals and day-of-the-wedding coordination and they did a phenomenal job. \r\rJust know beforehand that music must stop at 9:30 which, for me, was the only negative. Other than that, it's a great venue and I highly recommend it!

We chose Leo Carrillo Ranch, even though we never got to see it until the day before our wedding! WE LOVED IT! We planned a destination wedding from the East Coast, and I found Leo Carrillo Ranch based on blog photos from other weddings. Finding an outdoor venue was important for us. We held our ceremony and reception in the same location- the upper patio at the ranch. We only had 21 guests, so it worked out and felt very intimate. It’s hard to plan a small wedding because there are so few samples online, and most spaces feel overwhelming, but the upper patio was perfect. It was super affordable. We held a morning wedding, 10:30 am start time. We loved all of the peacocks around (though beware, you should YouTube what sounds they make). We didn’t mind the squawking sounds, it didn’t bother us and added to the character. We live in a city and much preferred the peacocks instead of the sounds of sirens or traffic that we would hear at a wedding in a hotel or on a rooftop. It was fun to take photos with the peacocks! \rWorking with the ranch was so easy, even over the phone! They were flexible with rehearsal times, and handled difficult situations well. During the reception, my Grandmother fainted and fell, and they had the fire department and ambulance on site very quickly! \rWe loved the Leo Carrillo Ranch team, and we had so much more flexibility with this site. Many other places have too many restrictions (no candles, no bands, etc). We had a live band (no amplification) at our ceremony and it was beautiful! We love the ranch. It is so unique! \r

The ranch is a great alternative to the traditional hotel/ballroom, wineries or ocean view venues.\r\rOur guests had so much fun! It's a great and open venue that gives you so much room to spread out.\r\rI loved that we could pick all our own vendors for food, bar, cake, rentals, etc. They do not make you pick from their preferred vendor list! You have the freedom to make your day as unique as you are or want. \r\rJust know that your vendors have to be escorted by park staff down to the venue site so it's important they are on-time if not early so the vendors and guests to compete for the golf cart escort at the same time. Also they are a stickler on alcohol stopping exactly 9 pm and it does not matter if there are people waiting in line.
