Absolutely do NOT recommend. To start with the positive: the food was good and the guests thought it was the best wedding food they have had. Other than that it was a total disaster, the management is completely unorganized and did not deliver what was promised. The day of coordinator, included in the high price of the venue, changed several times since booking and then weeks before the wedding date but I was not even informed until I repeatedly called and then met them for the first time the day before the wedding. They asserted at booking they would set up the ceremony with our things including, reserved signs, our sand unity set, memorial seat, welcome sign, etc and took it all in a box then didnât set it up, and upon being so upset after said the ceremony set up was not noted in the contract. The ceremony is set up next to the tasting room which is open, they donât stop people from walking past so there are randoms in the background of our photos and say they wonât ask them not to walk there. The biggest issue was they ran out of tequila within an hour of bar service when our signature drink was a margarita and had only 1 bartender when promised 2 so our line to get a drink was insanely long the whole wedding. Itâs a pretty location but the vendor service sucked. If you go with this vendor just pay to also have a 3rd party wedding planner and coordinator.

There is no location in Temecula more beautiful than Leoness, and because of that I would highly recommend getting married here. However, in the time I worked with them for my October 2023 wedding, I went through 3 different venue coordinators which was mildly frustrating. My advice to any couple getting married here would be to have your own day-of coordinator. Trust me it will save you a lot of stress. Other than that, the venue is incredible and the waitstaff and bartenders are great. The barrel room is an awesome reception area and you really donât need a ton of decorations to make it look beautiful. 150 is the perfect amount of guests for this venue. We got married on May 18th, 2023 and canât say enough good things about the venue. The venue itself was stunning- particularly the vines, ceremony area, vine wall, and reception area. The catering was incredible and our guests loved the food. The ivy wall is a great place for you and your guests to take photos in front of meaning you donât have to rent a sign or anything for guests to take pictures in front of. Bernadette, our coordinator, is very organized and was willing to set up a lot of our decorations since we did not have a planner which we felt was truly above and beyond. Our only qualms were that we were not allowed to take home any leftover food due to liability reasons and we did have to go through two different coordinators before we got to Bernadette. Donât let that scare you though! We were extremely happy with the venue, our guests raved about it, and Bernadette ended up doing a wonderful job.

I attended a wedding recently and Bernadette went above and beyond taking care of the bride and groom. My family had so much fun. We didnât have to worry an out a thing. Bernadette was the coordinator keeping everything on schedule and kept the wedding party organized, never a dull moment. Actually the entire events staff was absolutely amazing the entire night. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. It was definitely a wedding to remember! Thank you Leoness.

Wedding Date 01-10-2022
Our wedding was at Leoness in Oct 2022. A destination wedding, so we were careful in our selection. Reviews at the time were great & when we saw the venue, it was perfect! Experience was decent until 1 mo before the wedding. Leoness had multiple coordinators turn over in the 1 yr we planned our wedding. We worked with 6 different people over the course of that time & while we had to repeat much of what we thought was documented on their end, we had some unsettling surprises when the date grew closer & caused us to pivot in some plans. We were provided a new coordinator the month before our big day & felt like we had to let her know the info over the past 11 months all over again. I referred to past emails, the agreements made with previous coordinators, info from the contract, etc. & seemed like we were starting over. A few of the vendors we were working with mentioned that the changes in coordinators had caused issues on their end as well-delays in responses, miscommunication, etc. Fast forward to our wedding day. As we arrive to the ceremony space, I hear a live band LOUDLY playing on the patio which is next to the ceremony lawn. I immediately got nervous. Why is this music playing? The ENTIRE intent of starting my ceremony at 5pm was to avoid other events. We were assured this the day we signed the contract. I could NOT hear my ceremony music, I could NOT concentrate on our moment. I asked our coordinator Bernadette to get them to stop. She tells me âshe triedâ & that âthey did not listen to her & there is nothing else she can doâ. I was furious! She is an event coordinator-this is a wedding & no bride should have to walk down the isle to the Village People/YMCA. I asked her to try again & instead she opened the door to signal me that it was now time to walk down the isle. Everyone was looking at me. What I wanted to do was walk over to the band and unplug them, but my nerves were already shot & I felt defeated. I started my decent down the isle & the YMCA song overpowered my chosen procession song. I wanted to burst into tears. As the ceremony started, I nervously looked around. My guests were distracted & kept looking back to where the music was coming from. The band would NOT end! My husband broke the tension by doing the YMCA dance during our vows. While that indeed did break the guest tension, I was still heartbroken that our ceremony was ruined. The band played for ~9 minutes into our ceremony-about half of what the time left was at that point. I blanked out on many of the words that were said, the readings my girls gave & the special moment that it was because of that band. We also paid for security to ensure no one walked in front of the ceremony backdrop while it was going on. Instead, people walked right past & caused additional distraction. While our guests told us we made the best of the situation, we found it completely unacceptable & totally disrespectful. We have it on video to prove it. At our reception we noticed the silver chargers we paid for at every table were not silver-they were gold. We had no gold in my wedding colors & in our plan it was noted we ordered silver. Later, we stepped out to the patio & noticed the cigar & bourbon table we planned for (with a bartender) also was missing. We noted for this to be on the patio. Instead, the cigars & bourbon were inside at the main bar. Overall, we were more upset about the ceremony. We wrote an email to the mgmt company regarding the experience-never got a reply.

We had 4 of the course of a year.On our wedding day, they didn't save my husband and me enough appetizers to at least each have ONE of each appetizer.The icing on top - we were told by the staff that THEY THREW OUT OUR WEDDING CAKE before we even had a chance to get a slice. When we told our coordinator, she said she would talk to the staff. No reimbursement offer or anything.Again, avoid.

Leoness Cellars is a picturesque venue with the most gorgeous views at ceremony site and additionally a stunning barrel room for reception. The food from Temecula Catering was incredible and the guests raved. Additionally, the bar provided fast service with good hospitality. Similarly to other reviews, there was a lot of turnover in coordinators throughout our time planning the wedding. This did require some additionally effort on our parts in terms of ensuring that our timeline and details were accurate. We worked with Bernadette and Victoria on the day of the wedding and everything was very smooth and the day was an absolute dream. It is worth noting for future brides that bathrooms are limited for reception space (2 inside and 2 outside) and additional time and bar on adds are very pricey. Overall we are so happy with our experience on our big day

We loved Leoness and all it had to offer for our wedding! The views from the ceremony site are incredible and all of our friends and family commented on how breath taking it was. The barrel room is a unique setting for a reception! I would definitely recommend uplighting from your DJ though for when you start dancing. My reason for a 4 star review is we had 3 different coordinators from when we booked to when our wedding was. In this time I sent multiple emails to different people and Iâm not sure they were ever put together. They day of our wedding, when I sat down to talk with the assistant coordinator one last time, whoâd been there for 2 days and this was her first wedding, she had the completely wrong timeline along with other details that were wrong. Thankfully we were able to go over everything but had we not done one last check, Iâm not sure what would have happened. The organization wasnât the finest and after multiple emails back and forth youâd think itâd have been a little smoother.My other complaint was we paid for a champagne greet for each guest for 30 minutes prior to our ceremony and they did not start serving champagne until 12 minutes before our ceremony with only 1 waiter. But again the venue was great, food was great, wait staff was great and we had a fabulous time.

My husband and I got married 9/5 and it was absolutely amazing! Bernadette was our coordinator and she was Spectacular. She truly went above and beyond our expectations. From the Bridal room to the beautiful Barrel room and canât forget the actual ceremony all perfect.. btw we also planned this wedding in 3 months and from the very beginning Leoness was so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. Thanks again for making our day special and especially to Bernadette for being so wonderful she truly made our day special and worry free!!! All soon to be brides this is def the spot đ

My husband and I got married 9/5 and it was absolutely amazing! Bernadette was our coordinator and she was Spectacular. She truly went above and beyond our expectations. From the Bridal room to the beautiful Barrel room and canât forget the actual ceremony all perfect.. btw we also planned this wedding in 3 months and from the very beginning Leoness was so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. We were married here on Saturday September 10, and it was amazing! Such a beautiful property for pictures, and the food was fantastic. As was the wine obviously. Shout out to our wedding coordinator, Bernadette! We had a difficult situation in that both rain and a fire affected our wedding the day before. The venue was under mandatory evacuation and our rehearsal had to be cancelled the day before the wedding, but Bernadette kept in constant contact with us throughout the day. Luckily we found out at 7 pm the night before the wedding that the evacuation order was lifted but Leoness did have a backup plan in case it wasnât. Everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding, and Leoness stuck to the timeline perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to another bride. A few minor things that brought this review to a 4 star instead of a 5: -the barrel room was technically air-conditioned but the circulation wasnât great. It did get very hot in there and most people moved to the patio for a large part of the night. -there is no wifi in the grooms suiteOverall it was the perfect day!

Pros: Beautiful property, great wine and good food. Cons: literally everything elseI got married here August 6, 2022. I was so excited when I booked it back in February 2021. Since we booked it we had 6 to 7 new coordinators each reassuring us of the day would go smoothly and beautiful. It did not!The morning of the wedding Alex let me know that it would be her last day and boy did it show. The whole day was completely unorganized and they treated myself my husband and the bridal party very poorly. I really started to go downhill once we actually walked down the aisle. They left the gates open to let guest bombard us even though they said that they would direct them in the right direction. My bridal party tried to help and when they reached out to Bernadette, the other coordinator she said âthis happens all the time â. Instead of trying to make things right she constantly made excuses or just said straight up no. While my husband and I were taking pictures my bridal party was waiting without food or water in the heat even though they told us that that would be provided for us. When I asked about it she said oh itâs by the barrel room and did nothing to fix a situation. My photographer who said he usually backs up wedding coordinators said how trash they were. Our photographer was literally apologizing on their behalf. We had a famous basketball player at our wedding and were assured that we would have security. We even paid extra for an extra security guard. We did not realize that we did not have security until after we walked down the aisle and we saw onlookers from the restaurant peeping in to take a look at him. when we ask Bernadette to try to help situation she just shrugged her shoulders and sat down. My husband had to tell them to leave and it was embarrassing. Finally at the end of the night we were told that we had to pack up everything and leave. This would normally not be a problem if we were told before hand that this was situation. Their lack of communication made my guests and family have to scramble to help us pack things into our car. not the way we wanted to end our wedding night. Advertised it says that the barrel room has air conditioning. This is not the case. It was actually hotter inside the barrel room with the âair conditioningâ than it was outside. We actually had to open up the doors to outside so that the barrel room would cool down. There is also a 20% service charge that they like to keep hidden. This does not include gratuity and is outrageous. These are just a few examples of the complete disaster it was. I hope another bride reads this so that I can save her from booking this venue.

Pros: Beautiful property, great wine and good food. Cons: literally everything elseI got married here August 6, 2022. I was so excited when I booked it back in February 2021. Since we booked it we had 6 to 7 new coordinators each reassuring us of the day would go smoothly and beautiful. It did not!The morning of the wedding Alex let me know that it would be her last day and boy did it show. The whole day was completely unorganized and they treated myself my husband and the bridal party very poorly. I really started to go downhill once we actually walked down the aisle. They left the gates open to let guest bombard us even though they said that they would direct them in the right direction. My bridal party tried to help and when they reached out to Bernadette, the other coordinator she said âthis happens all the time â. Instead of trying to make things right she constantly made excuses or just said straight up no. While my husband and I were taking pictures my bridal party was waiting without food or water in the heat even though they told us that that would be provided for us. When I asked about it she said oh itâs by the barrel room and did nothing to fix a situation. My photographer who said he usually backs up wedding coordinators said how trash they were. Our photographer was literally apologizing on their behalf. We had a famous basketball player at our wedding and were assured that we would have security. We even paid extra for an extra security guard. We did not realize that we did not have security until after we walked down the aisle and we saw onlookers from the restaurant peeping in to take a look at him. when we ask Bernadette to try to help situation she just shrugged her shoulders and sat down. My husband had to tell them to leave and it was embarrassing. Finally at the end of the night we were told that we had to pack up everything and leave. This would normally not be a problem if we were told before hand that this was situation. Their lack of communication made my guests and family have to scramble to help us pack things into our car. not the way we wanted to end our wedding night. Advertised it says that the barrel room has air conditioning. This is not the case. It was actually hotter inside the barrel room with the âair conditioningâ than it was outside. We actually had to open up the doors to outside so that the barrel room would cool down. There is also a 20% service charge that they like to keep hidden. This does not include gratuity and is outrageous. These are just a few examples of the complete disaster it was. I hope another bride reads this so that I can save her from booking this venue.

The wine was so good that we had trouble choosing which ones we wanted. Living in the east coast, we had a destination wedding in Temecula. The staff at Leoness is flawless. We planned our wedding during covid and they had some staff turnover during that time, so I was a little worried about how the day would go but it was perfect! The wedding manager Alex was incredible, as well as her team Taryn and Nicole. I decided to have a DIY dessert table and brought in all the food and decor for it, and the team did a wonderful job of setting it up, along with all the other decor we brought in ourselves! They truly made my vision come to life. Thanks to them our entire day went so smoothly, and I never once felt overwhelmed or stressed. If you want the perfect wedding with the best team, Leoness is the place to do it! Not to mention, their wine is incredible, our guests loved it!

My husband and I recently got married at Leoness and we are confident that it will be a wedding that is not soon forgotten or talked about. We started the wedding venue search in January of this year, and it was an easy decision once we compared spots of where to have our wedding. Leoness really has it all. Vineyard views, spectacular wine and food, affordable, AND our amazing planner Mary and day of coordinator Alex who we now feel like we will be mailing Christmas cards! Mary made the process so easy. She was responsive and was there for us the entire planning process. When it came to the day of, I felt like I was a holiday celebrity! They have weddings so dialed in, that I did not have to worry about a thing. When I wanted wine, wine appeared. Food? Cheese and crackers would be there waiting. Private car? Sure! All the way up to the ceremony site and throughout the vineyard to take pictures. Our wedding was absolutely magical. For me, releasing control of planning is not an easy task, but with Mary and her team at the helm, I was at ease from moment 1. Not to mention THE WINE! Many of our guests told us they thought that the wine was the best they had tasted in the region. So much so, we had a group of friends go to Leoness to taste and for the lunch the next day. Leoness has not just become where we got married that one time. It is somewhere we now have friends and will visit for many years to come as a happily married couple. You will not regret choosing Leoness as your perfect winery venue!

Vineyard views, spectacular wine and food, affordable, AND our amazing planner Mary and day of coordinator Alex who we now feel like we will be mailing Christmas cards! Mary made the process so easy. She was responsive and was there for us the entire planning process. When it came to the day of, I felt like I was a holiday celebrity! They have weddings so dialed in, that I did not have to worry about a thing. When I wanted wine, wine appeared. Food? Cheese and crackers would be there waiting. Private car? Sure! All the way up to the ceremony site and throughout the vineyard to take pictures. Our wedding was absolutely magical. For me, releasing control of planning is not an easy task, but with Mary and her team at the helm, I was at ease from moment 1. Not to mention THE WINE! Many of our guests told us they thought that the wine was the best they had tasted in the region. So much so, we had a group of friends go to Leoness to taste and for the lunch the next day. Leoness has not just become where we got married that one time. It is somewhere we now have friends and will visit for many years to come as a happily married couple. You will not regret choosing Leoness as your perfect winery venue!

I couldn't say enough about this incredible venue. I fell in love with it when I was taking tours in the area. I walked in without an appointment, on a whim, and knew immediately it was the one. Mary, Alex and the whole team at Leoness are stellar and so professional. They've even made a ton of upgrades to the area so there's great value in choosing Leoness. They were worth every penny. People say that your wedding is the best day of your life... and I didn't believe it until I had mine. I had both my ceremony and reception at Leoness and it felt like a fairy tale. My wedding coordinator (Mary) who works for Leoness was so helpful and attentive to my questions and needs. Everyone raved about the ceremony site and the unique reception area in the barrel room. I never thought I would want to get married at a winery but on the big day and reflecting back on it now I really couldn't picture having it anywhere else.

When we began looking for wedding venues, I pictured a vineyard. As SD residents, I knew Temecula would be the destination. After doing my research, and visiting countless wineries, Leoness stuck out above the rest. Unlike other venues, I knew our wedding would feel intimate and private. I loved how Leoness only allowed one wedding per day. (If you're looking at Temecula venues, that's something I would definitely inquire about...). After booking our wedding with Leoness, I began working with Mary, the site coordinator. She was amazing. I loved how quickly she communicated through email. She was always available for us to meet at Leoness, and always very knowledgable and assuring. I'm slightly sad our wedding is over, because I won't see her as much. She was so kind and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process. Unfortunately, there was projected rain on the forecast. Mary was so quick to send me updates and alternative options for a rainy forecast, even on her day off. Luckily, it didn't rain...and our wedding was incredible. Our guests loved it! My husband and I felt like we were in a dream. There is nothing like that ceremony view on that hill. It's gorgeous... and the barrel room. It's so romantic. Our pictures and videos turned out so beautifully. We are extremely happy we chose Leoness. I couldn't have pictured the happiest day of our lives anywhere else!

This venue is absolutely breath-taking and everyone at the venue was so amazing and helpful! The ceremony space with the vineyards in the background was so spectacular and the barrel room is so romantic and beautiful. This winery is really spectacular. Unique and off the beaten path in Temecula. We were able to provide our guests with multiple transitions throughout our event. Started outside for our ceremony, then moved down the hill at an outdoor patio for cocktail reception, then a walk through the vineyard before heading to the barrel room for our reception. Amazing. \r\rThe challenge we had was the inflexibility of the venue with regards to set up time. They have a very strict contract with no room for negotiation of even 30 minutes extra or dropping off of equipment before your allotted 2hrs before event start. Be aware of that and be really sure your vendors can work under that timetable. Our Leoness coordinator, while great to work with in person, was not always responsive over email or to phone calls. It took multiple times to get a hold of her. It also took them 4-5 weeks from the signing of the contract to confirm and cash the deposit check. That was problematic, because it delayed further planning until the exchange of money and confirmation happened. We also got a wine club membership (to lower the cost) and that took several months to process.\r\rHowever, on the day of, the staff were amazing. If anything was an issue, I didn't see it, which is the way you want it to go down. We got nothing but compliments on the service during our event. Recommend the venue, but be ready to send constant emails and don't expect speedy responses during the planning process.

I had the wedding of my dreams at Leoness! The property is breathtaking and the ceremony site sits on a hill overlooking all of the vineyard. We were the only event on property so it was as if we rented a winery but didn't pay for it! The Day of Coordinator, Mary was great as was the rest of the staff. We absolutley loved Laura, the manager, she took great care of us from beginning to end. Laura and her team gave us such an amazing experience, we will cherish for the rest of our lives! I can't thank them enough!!!

She was so knowledgeable and organized and wasn't pushy like the other places. Laura seemed to really care about our wedding and was so helpful throughout the whole process. She always had a hug for me, which every stressed out bride could use. The entire staff that day was amazing. The winery is gorgeous and the food was great too! They exceeded my expectations. Truly phenomenal!

My husband and I were determined to get married at a beautiful wedding. We went on TheKnot and used their resources to compare venues and found Leoness Cellars on the way. We went to look at the venue and it happened to be pouring rain on that day but we couldn't think of anywhere else! The staff was friendly, the venue BREATHTAKING, and we knew it was the one. We didn't have to see it anymore and we knew. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice. Everyone loved the venue and commented on how beautiful the area was. It truly is worth looking at, even in the dead of winter!

The venue was absolutely beautiful!! August/September are definitely the months you want to get married here. My husband and I just got married here on 09/17/11 and the winery was just breathtaking. There were grapes on the vines and it was green everywhere. Our guests could not stop raving about the location and many of then told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been too. And as the bride, I got to rid up the ceremony on a horse & carriage who then stayed to give our guests rides after the ceremony!\rThe one negative though was their event coordinator. We had some problems with her responding to our calls/emails and letting us have what we requested for the wedding but in the end, it was all so worth it. Definitely recommend this!!
