I highly recommend Mississippi Gardens for your wedding ceremony/reception! Besides the fact that it is an absolutely beautiful venue, the hospitality and service was 5/5. Our Wedding Coordinator, Erin, was extremely tentative and helpful. From the very beginning she was available to help answer any question I had and if she wasn't available at that time, she was quick to let me know when she could chat. She made me feel confident about every decision and talked me through the ones I didn't understand or wasn't sure about. Pre-wedding meetings were seamless and I always left them feeling more and more excited for our day. We had a winter wedding, so the ceremony was also at the venue and it was absolutely stunning. We got so many compliments from our guests on the layout and the detail. The chandeliers throughout are AMAZING. The help that we received from the entire Leopold family (Jordan, kids, wife, everyone!) + Erin the day of was truly impressive. Everything went so smoothly and any concern I had the day of was taken care of almost immediately. I could not be happier with my decision to go with this venue and would do it 100 times over again.

I highly recommend Mississippi Gardens for your wedding ceremony/reception! Besides the fact that it is an absolutely beautiful venue, the hospitality and service was 5/5. Such a wonderful planning process from the ground up! My fiancé & I signed the contract for our fall 2015 wedding reception at Mississippi Gardens, when it was just dirt and a few cement beams....and every step of the way we were involved and made to feel like they were building the venue just for our wedding. Cathy, Erin, Jamie & Jordan are the most wonderful team to work with, so very accommodating & thoughtful, even up until the day of the wedding. \rDarren and I were one of the first wedding receptions at Mississippi Gardens and everything went so smooth, it felt like they had been doing this forever, and it was only one of their first events! \rOur 10/3 wedding was a paramount fall day in Minnesota, crisp & sunny 60 degrees. Being right on the Mississippi River and only a few minutes from our church, it was our ideal location for our wedding reception venue. Close enough to the city but far enough away to escape the hustle. The outdoor space is a beautiful lush bank on the River, (flowers, lush trees, plants, landscaping, etc). The golden lighting was stunning coming through the trees during social hour. It was a perfect outdoor space for guests to relax & children to run around up and down the granite staircase, and explore the beautiful area before sitting down for dinner. Also ideal for pictures outside, with many tall trees, hills, floral, calm river water backdrop, etc etc….so many fall colors and large lavish grounds to see. \rSTUNNING indoor décor, we appreciated every little detail! Its elegant Cinderella meeting rustic chic, the chandeliers against the exposed wood ceiling, the Victorian damask wallpaper against the refurbished wooden mirror, “glamour in the woods” feel, WE LOVED EVERY DETAIL, and so did our guests! From the bathrooms to the window drapery, it’s amazing how everything coordinated and astonished new guests. \rThe food options from Mintahoe were delicious and very customizable - we served the Short Ribs, Wingtip Chicken and the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Each choice was honestly delicious, prepared so well. The presentation of each plate was so intricate & beautiful; the detail was if there was only one plate being made, instead of 240. Our guests commented on the portion sizes being just enough food to have room for our cupcakes & candy buffet. \rCathy & Erin blessed us with so many extras and truly made us feel like we were part of their family. They each possess attitudes of service, partnership & accommodation to every little detail when planning a wedding. They each have tremendous experience in the industry, and prepared us in a way in which we knew exactly what to expect the day-of. They gave us abundant confidence in their teams’ execution that we literally had no worries or questions when walking into our social hour the day of our wedding. Cathy, Erin, Jamie & Jordan made us feel that their venue was not just a place that we were renting, but as if it was our home. The hard work and dedication that was put into making this place a stunning venue did not go unnoticed. Mississippi Garden’s magnificence speaks to so much of the individuals that designed it & brought it to life. \r

We cannot say enough amazing things about Leopold’s. For starters, it is a beautiful and well-thought out venue. The outdoor space (deck/patio space and area down near the river) are truly immaculate, and the inside is spacious and a perfect canvas for as much or as little decor as you choose for your wedding day. On top of the beautiful venue, Leopold’s staff was unmatched in their professionalism, communication, kindness, and organization say of. Jamie and Mataya were so wonderful to work with and were amazing hype women the entire morning of our wedding! We decided to go with a third party day-of coordinator, and while it made me feel good having so many people dealing with logistics the day of, I think we would have been fine without because Leopold’s was so on top of everything. We were worried about only having one option for catering, and were not excited about doing plated dinners but the staff at Mintahoe worked with us and came up with a pasta buffet which was AMAZING. I absolutely recommend Leopold’s for your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Leopold Mississippi Gardens for your wedding day! We got married July 2023, and I am so thankful that I found LMG and chose them for our wedding day! 10/10 recommend this venue! I was happy that I chose Leopold Mississippi throughout the wedding planning process as the team at LMG answered all my questions in an incredibly timely manner and made the wedding planning process so much easier. I was so thankful that I chose them on my wedding day as they helped everything run smoothly, and I loved getting ready, getting married and enjoying the party all in one beautiful place. My husband and I had a great experience with Leopold's Mississippi Gardens! First off, the venue itself is stunning! There are so many beautiful locations for photos and it was so convenient to be able to get ready there, and have the ceremony and reception all in one place. We booked our wedding date with LMG over 2 years in advance and had a great planning experience. All of the details were communicated very clearly and Erin, Jamie, and the rest of the staff were all super helpful and answered all of my questions during the planning process! The day of our wedding went very smoothly - it was obvious everyone at LMG knows how to run a wedding and I had nothing to worry about! LMG is a perfect spot in the Twin Cities to get married and I would highly recommend them to others!

We cannot speak highly enough of Leopold's! Erin, Jaimie, Jordan and all the staff were so organized and it made the day absolutely stress free. Jamie and Erin completely handled the organization of the bridal party for the ceremony and truly acted as \"day of coordinators\". Erin was so responsive and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding as well. It was so nice knowing I didn't have worry about a thing. Every little detail was thought of and they really take care of you like family. Our parents and our guests were so impressed with the venue and the care we received. One of my favorite memories was walking into the venue immediately after the ceremony and all the staff was cheering us on :) We recommend Leopold's to everyone!

We can't say enough great things about Leopold's!! Ahead of our wedding, they were very helpful in answering our hundreds of questions, very accommodating of our special requests (like dropping off decor and pre-bought wine days ahead and having an onsite rehearsal when they were closed). They were overall very lovely to work with. On the actual day of our wedding, they blew us away!! They had every detail sorted and ensured everything flowed smoothly; they literally made it stress free for us. As an example, it started to sprinkle as I walked down the aisle, but to my surprise all guests already had umbrellas. All throughout our event we received compliments from our guests on how perfect the venue was (the open air deck with fire pit tables was an especially big hit for those who didn't want to dance all night, but didn't want to leave the party) and how wonderful the Leopold's team were (seriously so many people told us that not every venue has staff that is this engaged and attentive). Even the bartenders made the night special by saving and gifting the wine opener used for our first toast as a married couple. We were so impressed and so thankful we chose Leopold's as our wedding venue.

What can we say, our wedding was perfect. A lot of this goes to Erin and her team at Leopolds. From our tour with Barbie, to our annoying emails to Erin, to the big day with the owners working our event, it was all fantastic. The venue itself is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The bartenders were great and even gave us the wine opener he used all night as a keepsake. We are just so happy with our decision to go with Leopolds. It truly was the perfect place for my wife and I to get married and host our friends and family. It truly was a special day and big thank you to Erin, Jordan, Jamie and their entire team. We will be going back for their concerts and happy hours for sure.

We chose the Labor Day weekend at this beautiful venue. This was the first venue I saw when we started looking and I knew this would be the last one. The moment you step on those grounds, you fall in love with every corner. What makes it even better is the warmth that Jamie, Jordan and Erin provide from the get go. They provided a personal connection to us from the first meeting. All the reviews about them are extremely accurate. I did not have a wedding planner, Erin was my day of coordinator and she communicated with my promptly about every single detail for months. She accommodated many requests due to our wedding involving Indian ceremony in the morning and the events being almost full day’s events. The Mississippi River provides such a scenic backdrop which made our ceremony surreal. The flowers, trees, swings- there were a hundred photogenic spots for our guests.We had the ceremony on the riverside, lunch on the lawn, cocktail hour on the deck and reception inside the banquet hall. We utilized every single bit of the gorgeous site.We had guests come from all over the world and they could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the very planned execution and the generosity of the staff.If I had to do it all over again, there is not one thing I would change about the day!

The flowers, trees, swings- there were a hundred photogenic spots for our guests.We had the ceremony on the riverside, lunch on the lawn, cocktail hour on the deck and reception inside the banquet hall. We utilized every single bit of the gorgeous site.We had guests come from all over the world and they could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the very planned execution and the generosity of the staff.If I had to do it all over again, there is not one thing I would change about the day!

Beautiful venue and a lovely team! Many of our guests (who had never been to Minnesota and didn’t know what to expect) commented that it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been to. Jamie and Erin were a pleasure to work with, especially considering we had to move the wedding due to COVID and talked through various scenarios to keep our guests safe. My now husband and I were a “covid” couple and let me just start by saying if we would’ve been able to have our wedding in May 2020, I would have nothing but great things to say about LMG. Unfortunately for us that was not the case and we had to postpone. So covid hit (which is nobody’s fault) and the biggest let down was that we were told we couldn’t pick another “peak season” Saturday date. So we had to settle for an April date, which we didn’t want, and we’d already paid for peak season.. which isn’t April but of course we didn’t get refunded anything but I guess at least we didn’t have to pay more to move it. But you would think that they’d want to make sure the couples that were already booked took priority when all of this started happening. And then when we mentioned to them that we were irritated about the date, which happened when we were a month out from the rescheduled date, they offered to change it last minute and let us have a date we wanted. Why couldn’t that have just been an option from the beginning and not when it’s a month away? Another issue we had was that in the time we had postponed the venue made some changes (the venue took over alcohol service) that resulted in us paying an additional fee of almost two thousand dollars for 30 LESS guests due to something that was out of our control. And I don’t know if it was on the Leopolds side or the Mintahoe (catering) side but we actually had less guests than we had originally paid for but had to pay more out of pocket due to this change that they implemented that we had zero say in. Again, if we would’ve had it in 2020 as planned we wouldn’t have run in to any of this. The last issue we had was that when we arrived on the day of, they had several venue tours scheduled. And maybe it was a bridezilla moment but that really bothered me! We’ve had this day scheduled for over a year and in my opinion there shouldn’t have been any tours while a wedding was going on. They were going to tour the bridal room while we were all getting ready but I asked them not to because it was frustrating that we’ve paid all of this money to rent this place for just our people and then there’s 3 tours scheduled to be running around in the midst of us getting ready and taking our photos. Other than all of that, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the owner Jamie put in a ton of effort to make it nice for us, and it did end up being a wonderful day that was managed well on their end. It’s a very gorgeous ballroom and ceremony site that we instantly fell in love with and it ended up being perfect.

It has a huge beautiful outdoor wooded area right off the Mississippi river that was perfect for our ceremony and photos. There's also a large outdoor deck with fire pit for the cocktail hour/reception. A lot of our guests commented on how amazing the grounds were! We just got married during the midst of the pandemic, and Jamie and the staff did an awesome job being flexible with us so we could still celebrate while being safe. They have a Day of Coordinator named Erin who works through the catering company, Mintahoe, who also went above and beyond to help me plan all the details beforehand and kept us on schedule on the big day. She and Jamie were so quick to respond to my emails/calls - I planned my wedding out of state and they made it so simple (even during COVID)! We couldn't be happier with our day!

My Husband and I are so glad we chose Leopold's Mississippi Gardens as our wedding venue! The ballroom and grounds are stunning and the staff is amazing!! Everyone who works at Leopold's felt like family and they were totally invested in helping the day go smoothly and making sure its the perfect day. And our day truly was perfect.From start to finish the planning process was a breeze. Erin was there every step of the way to assist when planning and answered my millions of questions. There wasn't a moment where I had any anxiety, I knew the team at Leopold's had it taken care of. Not only is the venue beautiful... but the food was amazing. We received so many compliments from guests that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! My Husband and I are so glad we chose Leopold's Mississippi Gardens as our wedding venue! The ballroom and grounds are stunning and the staff is amazing!! Everyone who works at Leopold's felt like family and they were totally invested in helping the day go smoothly and making sure its the perfect day. And our day truly was perfect.From start to finish the planning process was a breeze. Erin was there every step of the way to assist when planning and answered my millions of questions. There wasn't a moment where I had any anxiety, I knew the team at Leopold's had it taken care of. Not only is the venue beautiful... but the food was amazing. We received so many compliments from guests that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Jamie & Jordan definitely have created a beautiful space and truly care about the couples that choose them as their venue.

My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better venue! Erin, Jamie, Jordan, and the entire staff were extremely helpful during the whole process. Everyone was super responsive and friendly. I have been to a lot of weddings in MN but never came across a venue as unique as Leopold's Mississippi Gardens. Everything is perfection. We loved the ceremony location by the river, large deck for happy hour, ballroom with large windows, tree swings, and all the tasteful decorations around the property. It's a great venue for taking wedding pictures for bridal party, family, and guests. The space works great for both outdoor and indoor ceremonys. Honestly everything exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens was the perfect setting for our big day! First of all, the venue is gorgeous! We had a perfect day that allowed us to celebrate our wedding by the river just as we hoped, but had the weather not cooperated, the indoor venue would have been great too! Not a lot of places we looked at had “backup plans” that still have that “wow” factor.Secondly, absolutely everyone we worked with during planning, the day of, and after our wedding was truly fantastic! Jamie and Erin were great - they have built a fool-proof process that allowed even a super-planner bride like me to relax and truly enjoy my special day because I knew it all was covered. Working with them was easy - I loved that I didn’t have to find a vendor for every little thing (table clothes and chairs and lighting or any of that stuff!) They even streamline the catering piece and everyone raved about the cake!! Our nephews still talk about it months later - and they know a thing or 2 about cake! If you’re considering LMG, know that they’ll do everything they can to make the day perfect for you! We couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out!!

When the couple announced that they wanted to get married in MN, we were a little surprised, but we agreed under the condition that their venue highlighted the beauty of the state. Leopold's Mississippi Gardens did not disappoint! The grounds were manicured, the views were spectacular, and the ambiance was breathtaking. The guests are still talking about the dramatic entrance of the bride and her dad as they descended the magnificent staircase to the ceremony area. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!Planning a wedding from a distance can be challenging, but Erin made it very simple. We had countless emails back and forth and she answered each question promptly and completely. It really couldn't have been easier. We had a ton of stuff to drop off when we got into town a couple days early. The LMG staff tucked everything away safely. On the day of the wedding, they came to our rescue helping with things we forgot and answering our last minute questions. Jordan, Jamie, Erin, Elsie, Barbie, and the rest of the crew made the whole experience absolutely amazing! I HIGHLY recommend LMG and wouldn't have changed a single thing.

LMG has everything that you could ask for in a venue and if they somehow don't have it, they will get it. I had my reception last September at Leopolds and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Erin makes you feel like you are the only bride as she is so attentive and responsive and everytime I ran into Jamie she would ask me how everything was going. They really made you feel like you are part of their family. Their ground are beautiful and the inside is unmatched to anything we looked at. I keep telling my husband I want to do it all over again because I just want to keep going back to Leopolds. You will not regret choosing this as the first place you call your significant other your spouse !

They take care of absolutely everything to make your day the best it can possibly be. Jamie and Jordan were on hand the whole day as well as the entire staff there. Jordan even did some last minute yard work to help some of our elderly guests in wheelchairs. We also had a misplaced cake topper and Jamie let us borrow something from her house to make sure we had something to display. They really made our wedding into a real life fairy tale. Leopold's Mississippi Gardens was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! We were absolutely blown away by them from our original tour to the day of. Courtney was so helpful with giving us all the information we could have needed during our tour, and made us very excited as we immediately felt like we would be taken care of. Erin was so beyond helpful with the planning process and the many emails we exchanged. She is so organized and knows exactly what she is doing! The day of was so well run and we were just amazed how all the staff genuinely cared about our day like we were family and went over our already high expectations to make sure we were happy and everything was in place. We still get endless compliments from our guests how well the day flowed, how spoiled they felt, how beautiful the venue was, and how delicious the food was! Jordan and Jamie were so helpful and involved - not what you would always expect from owners. Jordan helped hang decor and drove our guests up and down to the ceremony area, while Jamie helped organize the whole day right down to queuing me when to walk down the aisle. To top it all off, at the end of the night the bar tender made sure to find us on our way out to give us the wine opener he had used throughout the night so we could have a little memento to bring home from the best day of our lives - amazing! LMG truly treats their guests like family and we are SO happy we chose them for our special day!

Every step of the process was flawless and every person we met was so friendly. I read a lot of reviews while looking into wedding venues, and one thing that came up time and again while looking into Mississippi Gardens is how every person on the team treats you \"like family.\" This statement couldn't be more accurate! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the owners and staff are top notch. Jamie, Jordan and Erin went above and beyond, especially when it came to my mother who has Multiple Sclerosis and is confined to a motorized wheelchair. Weeks before our wedding Jordan reached out to our family to ensure my mother's wheelchair would be able to get down to the riverside ceremony. Knowing how busy the Mississippi Gardens team during prime wedding season it's impressive and appreciated that they remembered and wanted to ensure their team had a plan in place, so my mother could get down to the ceremony smoothly and safely on our wedding day. These are those seemingly little things, that really are big things. It was amazing to see owners Jamie and Jordan Leopold actively involved on our wedding day, their commitment doesn't go unnoticed. And Erin made the planning process - from meal planning, day-of details, rehearsal and ceremony run-of-show - fun and easy. Erin has this wedding day thing down to an art. We had plans to look at multiple venues for our wedding. Leopold's was our first tour and we never even looked at another! It is such a great property and the staff and owner's are so helpful and easy to work with. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding or next event!

Leopold's Mississippi Garden's staff and venue were absolutely wonderful to work with. Professional but personable, great attention to all of our needs and questions, and addressed our apprehension about our event. The staff were so helpful in guiding us in the organization of the wedding day events, queuing the wedding party, escorting guests that needed assistance to and from the ceremony site with the golf cart, checking in frequently to see if all our needs were met and on and on.The day was simply beautiful and being able to have the ceremony by the river was stunning. Many guests that preferred being away from the music were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the deck around a portable fire pit. It allowed everyone to enjoy all aspects of the facility.We toured eleven different venues and none compared to Leopold's. We couldn't be happier with our experience. I wouldn't hesitate to give Leopold's the highest rating possible.

Of all of the decisions we had to make when planning our wedding, choosing our venue was the easiest decision we made and we absolutely have no regrets about hosting our wedding there. We knew as we left the venue after our first tour that this was the perfect place for us. Jamie, Jordan and the rest of the Leopold’s staff were very pleasant to work with and were eager to help us tackle hosting a large wedding. This venue has a gorgeous interior and also plenty of space outside for our guests. We are still receiving compliments from those guests over a month later! The space was able to accommodate a very busy dance floor as well!

From the landscaping to the beautiful chairs, this venue has it all. Our guests also LOVED having Jordan Leopold at the reception! I cannot speak positively enough about how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Mississippi Gardens. The venue is absolutely gorgeous- right on the river, beautiful patio, and lovely landscaping that makes for the best pictures. Mintahoe Catering is the caterer through this venue, and all of our guests LOVED the food (and of course, we did too!). There are so many menu options to choose from- it really felt like we were getting a customized menu rather than the common cookie-cutter selections typically provided at other venues. Most importantly though, the staff at Mississippi Gardens have been the absolute best to work with. From Day 1, every single person I worked with was not only prompt and responsive, but flexible, helpful, organized, kind, and knowledgable about all things related to the wedding day. As a bride that was easily overwhelmed with the details, they eased the entire process and calmed my nerves [as much as nerves can calm in anticipation of a wedding day :) ]. In summary, everything went perfecatly on our wedding day, and it was clear that Jordan, Jamie, Erin, and Courtney (and many other staff) set perfection as the standard at Mississippi Gardens. By all counts, they absolutely deliver on that standard!

This venue caters through Mintahoe, the food was very good, all our guests were impressed with everything. Everyone especially loved the cupcakes! Mississippi Gardens truly lives up to their slogan of the premier venue on the Mississippi river! We had our 10-7-17 wedding ceremony and reception at LMG, and everything was absolutely perfect! From our initial planning meeting, the tasting, and all the way to the end, each detail was handled with such care. Erin and Courtney are rock stars! They got back to my emails promptly and I always felt like we were in good hands with them. The day of, they added little touches I wouldn't have even thought of, and kept the day running smoothly. Jordan and Jamie were the best! They helped with so many fine details and our guests were thrilled to see an old Wild player at the venue - let alone own it! My husband and his groomsmen even got to take a photo with Jordan and his Hobey Baker and championship rings. It was definitely a highlight! This was the first and only reception venue we toured because we knew it was the one the second we walked in. The outside was perfect for our outdoor wedding by the river and cocktail hour on the deck. The staff were extremely helpful. We had an amazing day at Mississippi Gardens. The venue inside is absolutely GORGEOUS -everything is new and glamorous. The outside was perfect for our outdoor wedding by the river and cocktail hour on the deck. The staff were extremely helpful. Mississippi Gardens is a dream venue. I am beyond happy and forever grateful to LMG that my husband and I chose this venue to have our wedding at. There are so many things that I love about this venue and staff that I don't even know where to start. The venue itself is beautiful being right around two years old. I fell in love with the elegant touches and attention to detail on the venue's decor. The bridal & groom's rooms are stunning! And the reception area and outdoor ceremony areas are breath taking. We were married down by the river on a beautifully crafted platform (or stage) with a choice of two arches. The path down to the river was paved which was great for people who were high heels. They escorted guests who were unable to make it down the steps via a golf cart which is perfect for them to be present without worrying about how to get down there. Courtney and Erin were my source of contact through planning the whole thing, and they were incredibly sweet and willing to help with any questions I had. We bounced ideas back and forth and came up with a plan that my husband and I could have never came up with by ourselves. They were so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process as I had never planned a wedding before and had no clue where to start! Thanks to Courtney, Erin, and the rest of LMG staff our wedding was exquisite and everything that we ever dreamed of.

They have amazing communication throughout the entire planning process. The venue is stunning with beautiful views of the river and wonderful inside decor. We had our wddding down by the river and had many guest with mobility issues (including the father of the bride) and they were so accommodating with a cart going up and down whenever we needed them. We loved having the use of the whole venue and the use of the lawn, deck and inside the venue. The venue only uses Mintahoe catering but I have nothing but awesome things to say about them as well. Their representative is amazing to work with! Both Erin and Courtney are so organized and helpful! They helped our wedding day be nothing short of amazing. Finally it was so awesome to see Jamie and Jordan Leopold (the owners) both at our wedding and working to help with carting people up and down the hill and helping with the bridal party entrances! They are truly involved and committed to their business! We love Mississippi Gardens and are so thankful for all their work to help our wedding day be picture perfect!

Leopold's Mississippi Gardens was the wedding venue of my dreams. From the moment I walked in, I knew there was no place else I would rather hold my wedding reception. I was looking for a fresh, clean, and new building with some glitz and glam on the inside and breathtaking nature outside, all mixed into a friendly, accommodating environment. LMG was this, and so much more. From our very first meeting with the manager of operations, we felt like family. We were given all the details (and then some) and offered deals and gifts right away. Every idea we had they listened to and worked to accommodate. For example, when we asked if we could bring in a pool table they said yes and even came in to help set it up and build a structure that could hold up a pool light. It was incredible! Every person there was friendly and so helpful, and I was never afraid to ask for something, or worried about timeliness; communication was effortless and they tackled the actual wedding night effortlessly. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and they are adding new details and pieces all the time. I only wish we could do it again in ten years, because I know they will have evolved into an even more stunning and capable venue. I will truly miss being part of the LMG family and seeing all the sparkle and smiles every time I walked in the doors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Where to even begin? My fiancé and I booked this venue back in Sept. of 2015 before they had had their first event for our Oct. 15 wedding. As soon as my mom and I walked into the venue for our initial tour we were floored with how beautiful this venue is. Pictures do not do this place justice. You have to see it in person! We booked our wedding the same day we toured because we knew dates were flying fast and nothing would compare to this venue. If you are from the north metro you know their aren't that many wedding venues up there besides a few golf courses and I was looking for something a little different but still in my neck of the woods. LMG fit this criteria perfectly. The whole team from Cathy, to Erin, to Courtney as well as the Leopold's were amazing to work with. Every time we stopped in to work on planning Jordan or Jamie was always there and to us that spoke volumes about how much they truly care about their business. You don't always see business owners putting in the hard labor. Jordan was there hanging chandeliers in the ballroom the day we did our initial tour. We knew we were in safe hands. The entire planning process was so smooth. The ballroom is so beautiful that you can pretty much dress it up or not do much at all depending on the look you are going for. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the place is the day of the wedding and now still almost 2 weeks later. The food was fabulous, bar service fabulous, flow of the overall event was fabulous and of course the river scenery was perfect. I highly suggest you check this venue out in person. Our dream wedding became a reality at Mississippi Gardens!

They are truly willing to go above and beyond for your special day. Not to mention they have an absolutely GORGEOUS venue that they keep improving week to week. During our ceremony, we forgot the candles for the candle ceremony. The owner, Jordan Leopold, ran and found the candles then crawled behind the stage to pass them to the groomsmen to set up. Mississippi Gardens and team exceeded our expectations! They were so pleasant to work with and extremely helpful in our planning process. They truly make you feel as if you are part of the Mississippi Gardens' family. On top of that, the venue is absolutely beautiful. We received several compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space, deck and yard was. The setting can't be beat! I highly recommend checking out Mississippi Gardens for your wedding or event. We were so pleased with our decision to have our wedding there! Huge thank you to the whole MG team!

Mississippi Gardens is incredible! Thanks to Erin, Jordan, Jamie, and Courtney we got the wedding of our dreams! They were so helpful, accommodating, and dedicated to make our wedding perfect. Emails were responded to immediately (thank you Erin!) and the wedding went smoothly thanks to the owners/staff. The venue itself is stunning and the work everyone put in was much appreciated! We felt like family there, which was a great environment to be a part of. People are still raving about our venue weeks after! My husband and I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone, it's totally worth it!

We had an unbelievable experience at Mississippi Gardens from the start of our planning process through the very end of the evening on our wedding day. The staff is exceptional, full of experience and great work ethic. The venue is stunning. Our guests are still RAVING about our wedding that went perfectly according to plan in large part thanks to Erin, Courtney , and the Leopolds! We are so grateful for all of you!!!

We could not have been happier with our experience with Mississippi Gardens. From our very first visit we felt very taken care of. The staff made us feel comfortable and worked with us to make our day what we wanted. Each part of the venue is absolutely gorgeous, which made it easy to do all of our photos, getting ready, etc. on site. We are so happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend Mississippi Gardens for couples looking for a beautiful place to get married with a very friendly and helpful staff.

We could not have been happier with our experience with Mississippi Gardens. From our very first visit we felt very taken care of. The best planning decision we made was booking Mississippi Gardens. I've worked with a lot of different vendors and the staff here are unlike anyone else I've done events with.Jamie, Jordan, Erin and Courtney might be some the hardest working people in the wedding business. But what's even cooler about them is that they are so fun to be around! They can make you feel like you're a part of their family (which, when you're a stressed out bride, is just the best feeling). We had a few hiccups during the ceremony (including a sudden rainstorm) and they handled it so smoothly that the guests couldn't even tell there were changes!Furthermore, the space is gorgeous and so functional. You could do as much or as little as you'd like in terms of decor and have a beautiful wedding either way. Whether you're a low-key couple who doesn't want to have to think about much or someone looking to create a dramatic event, the skilled staff and beautiful space will be exactly what you need.

Mississippi Gardens is by far one of the best wedding venues in the twin cities! The team there is absolutely incredible! From the initial planning stages all the way through our wedding day, they were instrumental in helping us plan the wedding of our dreams. Being an out of town bride and groom, we were initially concerned about planning a wedding from a distance, but working with the team at MG was such a wonderful experience. They were attentive, proactive, and overall just amazing group of people to work with. The Venue itself is gorgeous! Nestled near the Mississippi river, it provides breath-taking views of the river and the beautiful landscape surrounding it. The hall itself is magnificent with large chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, and classy design. The set up, the attention to detail, the servers, the food, everything was phenomenal and beyond anything that we had ever imagined! We are still buzzing from the experience and our guests are still raving about the place. We couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals to help make our dream wedding come true. Our wedding day felt like a fairy tale and the decision to have our wedding at MG was by far the best decision we’ve made throughout the entire planning process. Worth Every single penny!!

YES, all the superlative clichés apply to this remarkable venue. It IS stunning - think of huge, sparkling chandeliers. It IS elegant - think of shiny, new everything from chairs to décor. It IS charming - nestled along the rustic river. It IS beautiful in every way. The food IS delicious - confirmed by guest after guest. But the intangibles will pull you in - the atmosphere, the effortless sophistication, the comfortable attention to detail. Cathy and Erin made the process simple and easy with their 'can do' attitudes. We were impressed and delighted with the outcome -- a lovely wedding reception.
