My husband and I had our 20th anniversary at Level Two and it was absolutely perfect. Jim was very nice and helpful from the first time we contacted him and always fast to respond and happy to offer advice on any question we had. The venue itself is so beautiful, and the staff was always attentive and available to help. Our guests had a great time and could not stop telling us how beautiful everything was.

Level Two is in a wonderful location, but the owner Jim is what makes this venue special! We found Jim to be very honest and down to earth with a TON of experience with weddings. By the time we were a week away from our wedding day we had zero stress, Jim instilled confidence in us that everything would be great, it was. I cannot say enough about Jim and this venue! From booking, to planning, to the night of our wedding reception Jim was AMAZING and Fantastic! Jim is very detail oriented and really listens to you to make sure all your dreams and visions come true! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, Jim's staff was very friendly and professional and made sure everyone was well taken care of! For the price and the location Jim and his venue cannot be beat! I am a very OCD/Planner type and Jim did everything he could to make sure he listened to us and to put our mind at ease and make all our wishes come true! We did not have a wedding planner and Jim does a fantastic job as acting as a wedding planner and we could not be more grateful for him! I would say if you are on the fence go visit Jim and this venue and you will see how much of a hidden gem this location and venue really is! Jim, Jacy and I cannot say THANK YOU enough! You really did go above and beyond to make our Wedding Reception one for the books! We would do it all over again with Jim and Level Two if we had to!

The venue is in a wonderful location but the most important thing about this venue is the boss himself, Jim. As soon as we met Jim, we knew this was it. He was very honest and kind with a TON of wonderful stories to tell. Every conversation felt like we were talking to a friend. Jim and his team were some of the sweetest people we have ever met. The days leading up to our reception were super easy. Jim made us feel zero stress! The day of? Even more amazing. The food was perfection, the staff was amazing, and not to mention the relaxing nature of the venue. My family had a ball there! But let me tell you, Jim made it about US. He made sure we were good, his staff made sure we had our food and no empty glasses. I'm forever grateful for Jim, his wife, and wonderful staff. He is now part of our family and I'm so happy we chose such a wonderful venue but even better person. Thank you for making a lasting impression on us and helping us create the best memories.

I was a 2020 bride who postposed my original wedding and the owner, Jim, stuck with me and was very flexible until we felt safe to have our event last year. This venue offers so much flexibility in everything from its design, ceremony space, and catering services. Jim and his staff worked so hard throughout our entire event to make it everything we wanted. They can anticipate your needs and have solutions ready for you. I felt supported and heard throughout my entire planning process and actual day of. If I could do it all again, I'd still choose Level Two.

Owners are so sweet, even day of - in talking with guests and making everyone feel welcome. He even helped me find a lost phone after the event finished. Couldn't recommend higher for your next big event!

The venue itself is already so beautiful that you hardly have to do much decorating. The food and the Staff were great. Truly an incredible place to get married.

Jim was amazing to work with, he made you feel at ease from the very beginning of the process, not only was he helpful and great with communication, he would share tips with you about different aspects of your wedding which was super helpful. On the wedding day Jim and his team were amazing, they set up all of our decorations and morphed Level Two into my vision. Jim and his team were extremely attentive to us and our guests making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. The food and drink service was amazing and delicious!I would highly recommend Level Two to any newly engaged couple, you will not be disappointed.

We used Level Two as our wedding venue in May 2018 and it was gorgeous. We used both the ceremony and reception space which made things super easy for us and our guests. I was worried the ceremony space would be difficult to \"pretty up\" but an arch, flowers and some greenery truly brought the room to life (plus our 6:30pm ceremony time had the sun setting behind us, which really set the mood!). The reception space is already beautiful but our guests loved the large dance floor (and bar!) the best. Jim was very helpful throughout the entire process and ensured that the whole day was seamless.

They were easy to reach, more than happy to accommodate with everything I needed, and the price was well worth the view, the facility itself, and all that they do for you to make the wedding day go smoothly. We booked with them 10 weeks before the date due to a different venue not being big enough, and even in such a small amount of time they were able to make sure everything went smoothly. We were SO thrilled with our experience with Level Two! We had a very short engagement (only 9 weeks!) and even though Jim typically closes the venue between Christmas and New Year's Eve, he coordinated with his sister Lisa, and they made our date 12/30/17 available. The \"all-inclusive\" nature of this venue was so helpful and also made it much more affordable, without having to sacrifice quality. The food was absolutely delicious and the process of choosing a menu was flexible and easy. I am DYING to see my photos because the venue was gorgeous! I did my ceremony and reception both at the venue, which was so convenient. The day of the wedding was seamless. Lisa was incredible to work with and she left no detail unattended to. I didn't have to worry or wonder about anything! I was amazed by the quality of EVERYTHING and honestly, I felt like I got a steal. I just can't say enough about this venue! Even with my short time-frame, I didn't have to give up ANYTHING as far as beauty, quality, and communication. My wedding was PERFECT and Level Two was a huge part of that! We were beyond blessed to find this place.

What can I say about this venue that will do it justice! Let me start with amazing, gorgeous, spacious, elegant, PERFECT!!! The owner, Jim and his sister Lisa, oh my goodness they were such a pleasure to work with! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that my daughter's wedding reception went off with out a hitch! Jim covered everything on my list and somethings I knew nothing about that should have been on my list, LOL. As the mother of the bride he made sure I was as stress free as possible! He dealt directly with the vendors and the coordinator. The \"Happy Couple\" were also extremely pleased with their reception. The dance floor, stage, bridal suite, decor and ambiance made for a event that is still being talked about! If you are looking for a venue Level Two should be your first choice. **Jim, I know I thanked you for everything that night... I want to add... thank you for being a honest and respectable business man. As we discussed before, when planning special events you come across some unscrupulous people (as I did before you) and I want to thank you for your integrity!

What can I say about this venue that will do it justice! Let me start with amazing, gorgeous, spacious, elegant, PERFECT!!! The owner, Jim and his sister Lisa, oh my goodness they were such a pleasure to work with! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that my daughter's wedding reception went off with out a hitch! Jim covered everything on my list and somethings I knew nothing about that should have been on my list, LOL. As the mother of the bride he made sure I was as stress free as possible! He dealt directly with the vendors and the coordinator. The \"Happy Couple\" were also extremely pleased with their reception. The dance floor, stage, bridal suite, decor and ambiance made for a event that is still being talked about! If you are looking for a venue Level Two should be your first choice. **Jim, I know I thanked you for everything that night... I want to add... thank you for being a honest and respectable business man. As we discussed before, when planning special events you come across some unscrupulous people (as I did before you) and I want to thank you for your integrity!

AMAZING! I had the best experience with Jim and Level Two. Doing my wedding reception at Level Two was WAY better and incredibly cheaper than it would have been at a hotel. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a great view of downtown. Jim was awesome to work with-so easy to get a hold of throughout the entire planning process. Jim was completely honest with us throughout the whole process about the most cost effective way to have a beautiful wedding reception. From what I was told, the food was great (I didn't get a chance to eat-as expected). My wedding reception was everything I dreamed of thanks to Jim and the Level Two staff!

We toured Level Two in November 2015. We had looked at few venues that weekend, and liked many of them. However, as soon as we walked into Level Two, we were sold! This venue is truly a hidden gem. It opened in its new location in February, but Jim and Lisa have run Level Two in different locations over the past 30 years. We worked mostly with Jim throughout our planning process. He has so much knowledge about the industry and is such a great resource! He gave us great advice and steered us away from some stuff that we wanted to do that he has learned through the years doesn't work well. Planning our reception was very easy with Jim. He was very accommodating, and the thing that I liked most about him was that he was very open and honest. He told you his charges up front. He told you what was included, and there were no \"hidden fees\" or charges that showed up later. His whole aim is to help people put on a great wedding without breaking the bank. He is very flexible on the headcount up until a few days before the wedding, which is very unusual! The day of the wedding was flawless. We did not have our ceremony at the venue, so when we got there after the ceremony, everything was ready. They set everything up exactly how I wanted it. When we got there, we made a stop in the bridal suite to freshen up and eat dinner before we mingled with everyone. The bridal suite is so nice and comfortable. We had a buffet and the food was delicious- we had so many great compliments on it! The bar was well stocked with a large selection of beer and wine, not just the usual 4-5 types of terrible beer either! Jim made sure my husband and I had anything we needed. He and his staff were wonderful, and everything went off without a hitch. At the end of the night, we had a sparkler send-off and the staff handled the set-up for that as well as the timing which was really great. We had a great time, and if we could do the wedding over, would pick Level Two again!! Thanks, Jim!

Beautiful venue, but it is not \"Affordable\" as it states in their bio. I was able to speak with Jim, and as someone stated earlier in the reviews he does ask for your budget which I believe shouldn't be the case, because you never know if that is the only budget the person has, or if it's flexible or not. He stated me $7,500-10,000. I personally prefer for businesses to post their prices so that people won't have to contact you unless they're interested. I am flexible with my budget, but after speaking with him, he makes you feel like this venue is way out of your league. He pretty much told me \" This venue is NOT for you\" in so many words and after speaking with him, this venue will not be for me because of him. If you choose this venue, good luck!

Beautiful venue, but it is not \"Affordable\" as it states in their bio. I was able to speak with Jim, and as someone stated earlier in the reviews he does ask for your budget which I believe shouldn't be the case, because you never know if that is the only budget the person has, or if it's flexible or not. We got married this past weekend at Level Two and really had a great experience. We looked at the venue last December, before the venue was even finished, and we really liked what we saw while the space was still in work! Jim met us at the venue multiple times for us to look, measure, try things out, etc. and even let us come by to see other weddings being set up. He was extremely helpful and worked with us and compromised with us many times along the way. We did our ceremony and our reception at Level Two. We flipped the room for the ceremony to give us more space in front of the pole, and it worked out perfectly. The reception area is just beautiful, with the large dance floor, the bar, and the urban feel. The staff was very nice and was easily able to accommodate our big group of ~180. We got compliments on the food and the space all night long. There’s a great bridal suite that we were able to use prior to the ceremony that had a big closet and private bathroom. In addition, multiple times during the night, Jim made sure to personally find my mom and get her drinks, which was an extremely nice touch. We are thrilled with our decision to have our wedding here.

When the wedding party showed up after the ceremony, everything went like we talked about and the room looked amazing. We had so many compliments on the space, the food, and the night. It would be hard to beat and you don't feel nickel and dimed when you talk about budget, wants, and needs.My wife and I couldn't be more pleased that we had our reception here. THE BEST!!!!My husband and I looked at many different wedding venues but level Two was the best , this place is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL , the food was so good, the staff excellent and very very good price for all. I didn't have a good experience speaking with Jim. I initially contacted him on The Knot and he asked me many questions including what my budget was, which I hadn't experienced with any other venue. It makes you wonder if you give him a number will he just quote you a price at that number? Anyway, I had answered all his questions and I asked him to email me directly. When he did he asked me the same questions again even though he must have read the answers since he knew how to reach me at my email. I answered them again and he still wouldn't give me any information on pricing or services. When I asked if they allowed outside alcohol he said no. Which was fine, but he immediately took this opportunity to ask if I I still wanted to continue to get more information.... I said yes (it's not like I had received any so far) anything like brochures or information packets would be perfect... And he hasn't sent them yet. It's been a week now and I can only assume he doesn't want to do business with people he thinks can't afford his venue just because they ask if they can bring in their own alcohol. I wouldn't recommend even contacting this venue and by the reviews I've read I'm not the only one who thinks he's rude.

I had my wedding at Level Two, and I can say with certainty that it was the best decision of my wedding. Jim and his sister Lisa helped at every step along the way of our planning process, offering advice and answering all my questions. Jim has seen a lot of weddings in his space, and is always willing to share his past experiences and let you know if he thinks something won't work, which I appreciated. And going through our set-up the day before, I was confident that Level Two's staff could realize the vision I'd created for their venue.\rThe day of the wedding, Lisa was a rock star. She coordinated our wedding party and major events, ran lights, helped set up and break down our wedding, and DJed, and was awesome at everything. The staff kept drinks flowing, served excellent food, and were always where they needed to be next. The night went so smoothly, from the first guest walking in to the break-down, that I almost didn't want to leave. After the wedding, all our guests have been raving about the venue.\rLevel Two is a hidden gem in downtown Dallas and I highly recommend it to any bride.

My fiance and I were not able to use his venue for our wedding in October of this year, but he kept our deposit anyways....As if he won't be able to find another couple. It's JUNE!\r\rHeartless to say the least. We could not get a hold of him for almost a month to inform him of our unfortunate change of plans, and never even signed any paperwork or contract. Will not refer friends to him and will certainly warn whomever I can.

My husband found this place and although the owner can be a bit hard to work with at times (others described him as pushy) he really knows what he's doing and delivered. We had about 140 or so guests and it was a great size, the food was good too. The owner's sister DJed and she did well too.

Level Two is a great space in the West End of Dallas if your looking for a unique and affordable reception location. I loved the history of the building and the exposed brick walls and stained concrete floors, looked great especially if your looking for something other than a hotel ballroom.\rThe owner really takes on a role of wedding coordinator and provides an nearly all-inclusive experience (food, bar, set up, clean up, service, and keeping the pace during the event, referral to good DJ). All I had to do was some of the decorations and get the cake ordered/delivered. And for Dallas this was at least half to a third of the price of any other location I looked at, can't be beat for a budget cautious bride.

Jim and his staff were perfect! I seriously cannot give them enough stars. Jim has been in the industry a long time and knows his stuff! This is a full service venue but I used it for my reception alone. They set up, tore down, provided food and services for an AMAZING price. The food was amazing and Jim really tries to do things through-out the night to make the event special.

Booking with Level Two was one of the best decisions we made. The owner is very knowledgeable and he will put your interests first when it comes to staying within a budget. They provide a one stop shop for almost everything. The venue is great and I just couldn't say nicer things about our whole experience with Level Two. We had more than one person tells us our wedding was the best wedding EVER! I truly have Level Two to thank for helping us make it so.
