Our wedding at Lido Banquets & Events was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Andre and his team were incredible - they really know their stuff and made sure every little detail was taken care of. The food was out of this world! We’re still getting compliments on the Alfredo pasta and the roast beef – and those mashed potatoes, wow! The staff were super attentive, making sure everyone was happy and even dishing out seconds. The place looked stunning too, with the lighting just right for our theme. It felt so intimate and personal, which was exactly what we wanted. Andre was there every step of the way, and his wife was super helpful during the reception. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our big day. Would totally recommend Lido to anyone planning a wedding!

We had our wedding reception at Lido Banquets & Events and it was an absolute delight. The managers, Andre and Kasia were such a pleasure to work with on this big project of ours. Andre was available and helpful every step of the way and made sure the night ran smoothly. The venue is elegant and very clean. Everything was color-matched with the bridesmaids dresses. A lot of interesting LED lighting throughout. The serving staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. Our wedding was on June 26, 2021 and it was the best day of our life and we had a blast! Lido Banquets & Events was clean, organized, food was great and everything well served. Andre was professional and I was 100% comfortable with our communication after my husband and I postponed our original wedding date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have had dozens of family members call and compliment on how beautiful the hall was and how great the food and service was.Every table was serviced by a very nice and attentive stuff, my guests felt good and well taken care of and of that i must thank I would highly recommend this venue for your event!

Our wedding and reception was simply amazing! Joanna made the planning process extremely easy and the event was elegant. The food was simply amazing and the staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional. The ambience was gorgeous and the open bar did not require people to wait in line, it flowed very quickly and was wonderful. It was the perfect day with the perfect staff!

I just had my wedding here last month. My husband and I worked with Joanna the whole time. She did everything to make sure we had a great reception. It's been a month and my extended family members as well as family friends are still raving about the food and the banquet. They said that everyone did a great job and many of our family members who are picky loved the food. I can't rave about them enough! They had a ton of options for everyone. \rThe pricing is extremely reasonable. There is only one banquet room in the whole place so you won't have to worry about another wedding going on at the same time. Definitely check them out! You won't regret it. We didn't.

Everything about Lido was amazing? My fiancee and I fell in love with the reception venue when we first stopped by. Peter (the owner) really sells the venue. He was nothing but helpful to us throughout the entire planning process. He did his best to ensure we had everything we wanted. If it was in his means to do it, he was more than willing to make it happen. The hall was beautifully decorated the day of the reception. The food and Swedish table were amazing! Numerous people have talked about how much they loved the family style dinner and about how wonderful the food was. No one left our reception hungry. I would highly recommend Lido Banquets for a beautiful reception!

I loved this banquet hall. I had 143 guest and did the all enclusive family style dinner package. The food was amazing, service was amazing from the start to finish, and the hall was just beautiful. Peter the owner always treated me as if i was the only client he had. Overall a great banquet hall, and worth every penny.

I had my wedding in August of this year and it was everything I ever anticipated!! I was treated with understanding to what exactly I wanted on that day!! I walked into Lido banquets (never being there ever before) and the first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell in the hall way. Then I was greeted by the owner, Peter and he was very helpful and showed me the entire banquet hal in detail. I asked him a list of questions regarding my expectations and he was able to answer all of them and also made some really great suggestions. I booked my wedding that day. I was also able to come to the Lido after making arrangments with Peter for tasting of the food a few times and that was very helpful for us to decide the type of menu I wanted. The day of our wedding the banquet room was decorated beautifully and the service was perfect. I was reassured that one of the owners would be there to the very end of our reception, and there was. I can definately say that this is was a wonderful experience!!!!

Feel in love with this place quickly. My husband and I were looking for a banquet hall that would cater to only our wedding and found this in Lido. The owner Peter was very nice up front and promised us the world. The day of our wedding was spectacular yet certain promised aspects were not followed through. We were told that on the day of the Wedding Peter would be there to answer any questions and we quickly learned from others that he would not be. Instead his wife was there and did not know of our prior arrangements or contract. Nonetheless some promised actions were not met as she claimed she was unaware of them. We were told we would be able to take left over food home with us as there was much of that, his wife stated she did not know of that and we did not receive it. Thus nice place but lacks major communication with those who hosts. Promise you the world and then do not follow through

We had our reception at Lido Banquets in July 2008. It was a top quality facility with high quality food and service. The price is quite a value, especially when compared with other similar places in the Chicago area. Peter (the owner) was great and was extremely helpful in accommodating us during our planning process since we were planning from out of town. While we didn't have a wedding planner, we didn't need one! All the reception-related details were taken care of by Peter. Any questions we had, he had the answers. Our guests commented on how good the food was. Cake from Domino's Bakery (yum!) was included in the price and we had a wide variety of options to choose from. Absolutely zero complaints, only rave reviews!! The fact that it is a one-room facility ensures that your reception will be the focus of the staff's attention that night...a definite plus.

Meet the Lido Banquets & Events Team
Andre Termanowski (Manager) Banquet industry is my parallel universe. I've run a DJ company for close to 30 years. Hosted radio music shows on Chicago, national, and global radio networks for 20+ years. In between, I founded an event company responsible for hundreds of social gatherings in places such as banquet halls, clubs, and even boats. Banquet Hall business is my second nature and hosting special events gives me, and my managing partner Kasia a constant rush of excitement. We love people, food, music, and fun. 25 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in corporate environment rounds off the professional in me.
