We had our Wedding Reception at Lido Beach Resort and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The venue was absolutley incredible and the staff catered to all of our needs and adapted / accommodated to all of our needs - big or small- with creative solutions that made our special day perfect. The decor was stunning, the food was AMAZING, and the staff ensured all of our guests and ourselves had the most fantastic time. The outdoor cocktail space they created for us was perfect in everyway, and the service was impeccable.

We had our Wedding Reception at Lido Beach Resort and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The decor was stunning, the food was AMAZING, and the staff ensured all of our guests and ourselves had the most fantastic time. The outdoor cocktail space they created for us was perfect in everyway, and the service was impeccable.

We hosted an outdoor (and indoor, once the rain came) wedding here for 68 guests in the Sunset Sand Garden (the area is newer and hard to find pictures of, but its definitely worth a visit to the resort when location scouting!). We needed a place to host 100% out-of-town guests and our wedding. While planning a wedding out of state, we ran into a few hiccups along the way (turtle season....) but Emily & Cassidy did everything they could to still host the event of our dreams. We had to move indoors when a shower popped up and the venue worked so hard to turn it around quickly. The ballroom is a great back-up and location option. Our family was really pleased with their stays at the resort, with amenities, and the wedding service/food/etc. The only warning here is that room stays are very pricey and there aren't many great cost effective options on Lido Key. Lido Key is great for having guests, thanks to St Armand's circle being walkable from LBR. All this being said, LBR staff hosted a beautiful wedding for us in May 2023.

The venue was incredible and the staff was over the top helpful. They were in the final stages of a remodel (Oct 2021) and made many accommodations to upgrade our experience for the inconvenience. The hotel is stunning, the food and restaurant is phenomenal and the experience was beyond our expectations. Our wedding guests still talk about the view from the restaurant and the food from the wedding! Can’t wait to visit for anniversaries to stay again at the hotel - rooms are stunning!

I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this place was really disappointing!! We booked our wedding here a year and a half prior. 5 months before our wedding date they called and told us they couldn’t host our wedding anymore because they decided to do a remodel on the week of our wedding. In the 9 months I worked with them they changed their event director 5 times. I’ve never been so upset and disappointed from an establishment. We booked our wedding elsewhere.

In the middle of our wedding planning, the resort hired a new wedding planner (Brynn) and she is fantastic! She is very responsive and flexible and organized. The resort is beautiful and the food is VERY good. We had no issues during our wedding weekend and we had several events including our brunch at the resort. The beach and resort was a perfect place for our photos and very comfortable for our guests to stay and enjoy the beauty of Lido Key. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice to have our wedding at this venue!

In the middle of our wedding planning, the resort hired a new wedding planner (Brynn) and she is fantastic! She is very responsive and flexible and organized. The resort is beautiful and the food is VERY good. We had no issues during our wedding weekend and we had several events including our brunch at the resort. The beach and resort was a perfect place for our photos and very comfortable for our guests to stay and enjoy the beauty of Lido Key. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice to have our wedding at this venue!

my husband and i had a great stay at the lido beach resort. rooms were nice, the pool area was nice to relax at. all hotel bars and restaurants were nice. meals and room service prices were very affordable. nice to have a shuttle to st armands circle, about a mile away. beautiful area in florida. hotel has great views of ocean and sarasota bay. wish they had a spa!

My husband and I had our wedding and honeymoon at Lido Beach Resort this summer. We absolutely loved it! Pretty much everything was taken care of for us by the time we got there from Michigan. The staff was super helpful with every little thing we needed even after the wedding and on our honeymoon. The resort was absolutely beautiful, every part of it was. At the last minute we decided to stay the entire week after the wedding at the resort and they were very helpful and gave us a triple room upgrade just so we could stay the entire week. The food was all fabulous! When it got to us it was the perfect temperature and the taste was awesome. I highly recommend the Lido Beach Resort for your wedding and your reception.

Mandy and the rest of the staff at Lido Beach Resort were awesome! Mandy was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day. The staff during the reception were exceptional and the service was more that I could have imagined! I would recommend this site to anyone planning a wedding in Sarasota :)

My wedding was perfect! We did a destination and most of our guests came for about a week. The resort was wonderful and helpful in every area. The ceremony was beautiful on the beach and the reception was in the ballroom. The food was amazing the entire week and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. You can tell that they really do love weddings and want them to be as perfect as you do.

My wedding was perfect! We did a destination and most of our guests came for about a week. The resort was wonderful and helpful in every area. The ceremony was beautiful on the beach and the reception was in the ballroom. The food was amazing the entire week and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Me & my husband wanted a nice beach ceremony and we chose The Lido Beach Resort after looking at a few places. I wish I could redo that day they ruined my day. First things were not set up the way we were told by the coordinator Mandy. There was no table for the sand ceremony and no basic runner. Worst, the chairs were so close to their other chairs that beach clad men/women are in ALL of my wedding photos. I specifically asked various times if the beach would be cleared in front of the ceremony, she said yes, and didn't even asked the people on the beach to please move for our half hour ceremony. So people camped out in front, and watched it, entering themselves into all my photos. I was so upset I had trouble concentrating on the vows. There was a large fisherman camped out on the rocks right in between us and the water, and some kids and parents too. A few of the hotels umbrellas and beach chairs made it into every picture too. She didn't coordinate people forming a receiving line afterwards, I've worked with many catering companies and seen many weddings but this was the worst job I've seen yet and it was MY wedding. NOT happy. I reamed her and the hotel GM out afterwards, and the best he did was take off $300 lousy dollars (Out of the $1200 with taxes we paid for the ceremony) and $100 off our room for the night. Not enough. I disputed it with the credit card company, they told a falsified version of the story and because those specifics were VERBAL promises and not in the contract, we were forced to pay. I recommend NOT using this hotel and paying anyone else to set you up on a nice quiet part of the beach. I also recommend you making sure ADD-INS are written into every contract with any wedding vendors so you know exactly what you're getting and they know exactly what their duties are in case they are as ignorant as the Lido Beach Resort turned out to be for our day. I had a sunset beach wedding. It started to rain. They made sure that everything was taken care of so I didnt have to worry about a thing. They set us up inside and it was beautiful. They saved our special day.
