Linden Hall is an English Tudor Mansion venue in Dawson, PA, that hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions. Brimming with old-world charm and timeless sophistication, this elegant property can set the stage for your milestone occasion. While the venue has a tranquil air, it is only 38 miles away from Pittsburgh and is easily accessible to traveling guests. You and your loved ones can look forward to celebrating in this vintage manor surrounded by manicured gardens and picturesque views. Secluded and private, Linden Hall is a hidden gem lying at the heart of the Laurel Highlands. With indoor and outdoor spaces available, you can make use of the entire property for the day. To start your celebration, you can exchange your vows in the beautiful, formal gardens. Shady trees and green lawns create an idyllic backdrop for your heartfelt "I do" moment. If the weather takes a turn, the staff will be happy to offer you an alternative setting for your ceremony. Once you are officially married, you can join your nearest and dearest in the mansion for your reception. This tastefully decorated space can fit between 80 and 120 guests for a seated dinner. If you'd prefer to dine outdoors, you can hire a tent on the Lodge Complex overlooking the mansion. Linden Hall offers a generous wedding package covering everything from linens and tableware to catering and bartending services. The staff can also provide a garden trellis for your outdoor ceremony and a get-ready suite for your morning preparations. You and your partner can stay overnight in a complimentary guest room and relax together as newlyweds. For your convenience, ample free parking is available on the property.

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at Linden Hall in early October. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, the staff and service there are second to none. From the beautiful decor and romantic vibe in the historic mansion, to the delicious food, to the service our guests received, I would not trade one moment.Our guests enjoyed a full weekend, including a golf outing and BBQ, our rehearsal dinner, patio fires at the bar in the evenings where they were all able to mingle, and delicious food at every turn.About two hours before the ceremony, there was an unfortunate accident off the property that knocked out the power in the area - including at Linden Hall. The power was never restored that evening, and when I say Rachel Swink and the staff at Linden Hall saved the day, I truly mean it. They hauled gas generators to the mansion and minded them all evening to ensure there was at least some power. Most of our guests were completely unaware of the outage and were captivated by the romantic candle lighting and decor. Our DJ was able to still entertain, and the food was perfectly done. These folks went the extra mile to ensure our kids had a day they will never forget.And to top it off, we ended the night with fireworks and live music back at the hotel bar. We have had so many of our guests say this was the best wedding they had ever attended.If you want top notch service, a gorgeous venue, an amazing array of delicious food, and great people . . . Linden Hall is the place for your wedding. We couldn't be more impressed with this venue!

Highly recommend having your wedding at Linden Hall!! We got married there 9-2-2023 and had a great experience. Rachel was one of the reasons we booked the venue and she really made the day so much better. It was nice that there was a hotel there so that our guests could stay and we didn’t have to provide transportation, also it was convenient that the booking came with food/bar (and Rachel) so we didn’t have to worry about hiring that separately. They created the most insane cookie table(room) for us that got so many compliments! Basically most requests (in reason) Rachel will accommodate and make sure you get the wedding you want. Plus the venue is so ornate/Rachel has a ton of her own decorations that you really don’t need to splurge for too much (we just got some candles and things).

Highly recommend having your wedding at Linden Hall!! We got married there 9-2-2023 and had a great experience. Linden Hall was a dream venue! At Linden Hall you are the only wedding all wedding! There is no chaos or rush to flip for multiple events. Your wedding was the priority all weekend! All my guest enjoyed everything being on the same property! From the rehearsal dinner on Friday to brunch on Sunday! You do not have to worry about transportation! And everyone was just as much in awe of the Mansion as we were when we booked! Rachel Swink, Linden Halls coordinator was amazing! She was very professional, supporting and was there for you the entire step of the way! The pictures captured at this property were breath taking, truly elegant and timeless. The reception tent is so much fun to decorate with Linden Halls preferred vendor list the ideas for the tent were endless! Lastly, the food! The food was incredible! Everyone raved about everything, best wedding food we’ve ever had! Highly recommend booking with Linden Hall!

It’s been over a week since our wedding at Linden Hall and we still can’t stop talking about it. We had an absolute DREAM wedding.The venue and services at Linden Hall were nothing short of perfect.  From the moment we first walked into the mansion for a tour, we knew that it was going to be the location for our wedding. Fast forward a year later, and the day was everything we imagined and more. The weather was beautiful and we were able to have our ceremony in the courtyard; the courtyard looked dreamy with the with the fountain and freshly manicured landscaping (we got an extra bonus with all the fall foliage)! We had our reception in the mansion and can’t express how gorgeous it was. The mansion has so much natural character both inside and out that minimal decoration is needed. In a weird way, the mansion feels like an entity that is a part of your wedding and not just a venue… it is an attraction for all to enjoy the history and elegance while also celebrating your big day.  The food served at the reception (sirloin, stuffed shrimp and chicken) was all very good, and we received positive feedback from our guests on both the dinner selections and the cocktail hour food. We also had had our rehearsal dinner on site and went with the Italian buffet; it was delicious too! The breakfast buffet (that is included with allhotel stays) was also very tasty. The wait staff and bartenders were also very attentive and so kind; you truly feel as if every single employee is interested in making sure you have the best weekend possible. Special shout out to Dawn and Becca, who we especially loved! Last, but not least… to have Rachel as an on-site coordinator from day one made all the difference. We had lots of questions for her during the planning process and she always provided timely and thoughtful responses while being direct and addressing any concern or question that we had. Everything that she promised was followed through on and it was very evident that she truly cared about us as people. She took the time to get to know us and worked to make sure that she understood our vision for the day. She is also so incredibly organized and makes sure your day runs smoothly. We had the most stress free wedding day ever and were able to totally enjoy every second of it, and that is thanks to Rachel and the way that she handled all of the logistics. Rachel worked directly with our vendors as needed (DJ Dickie with second to none productions, stone & field photography, Perry Floral, Katie’s cookie jar) to make sure that the day ran smoothly. We cannot say enough good things about Rachel (or our other vendors - we LOVED them all and are so thankful to them for making our day perfect!). It’s the week after our wedding and we’ve heard everything from “enchanting” to “the most beautiful wedding” to “the wedding of all weddings” and we can’t stop smiling or reliving the entire weekend. A few of our guests provided gift cards to return on our anniversary next year, and we cannot wait!

Where do I even begin?Rachel and her team are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do. As a professional wedding planner, she made my first experience at Linden Hall one that simply can not be beat. The knowledge, care and respect that she gives to her clients and vendors planning any event on site will leave you wanting to plan every event for the rest of your life there. From the bartenders to security and the front desk, every worker you come across is more than willing to help or go out of their way to assist you.The mansion and grounds are beautiful. With weather back up options and flexibility in the menus and planning, I truly cannot remember a single issue where I or my bride was told no or not given alternate options for what we needed. Rachel was definitely more involved than most venue coordinators I've met, and her advice and fast responses made my job 10000 times easier. I would recommend Rachel and Linden Hall to any one looking for a stress free, beautiful event space. I look forward to working there again and again and again in the future.

Linden Hall is everything you could possibly want in a wedding venue. If you want a venue that feels truly special and will blow everyone away, this is it. We opted to have the tent reception, and having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in three separate spaces that were all unique and beautiful on one site was perfect. We received tons of compliments on the food (also a perk because it's one less vendor to book). Having the hotel on site was also a major plus. The only improvements I could suggest are first having some type of shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony site and from the mansion cocktail hour to reception tent. The process of having everyone park and drive is a huge time waster. My husband and I also ended up getting stranded at the mansion and needed to borrow a guest's car.Also, Rachel the wedding coordinator did a good job, but I felt she promised more service than she actually provided. I initiated all email communication and often had to follow up to get a response. She promised to come and get my dress and the bridesmaid dresses in the morning to take to the mansion, and never did, so the photographer took my dress and we had to ask someone to come and get the others. She's very sweet and has the best intentions, but I think she could use some better support staff and be more attentive and proactive.Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this venue and the waitstaff. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and cannot be beaten to impress anyone and everyone.

Linden Hall is everything you could possibly want in a wedding venue. If you want a venue that feels truly special and will blow everyone away, this is it. If I could give Rachel and the Linden Hall team 1 million stars, I would! I just want to say THANK YOU. Rachel is truly amazing and I felt so lucky the entire wedding process to have her by my side! To be honest, I could not imagine having a wedding without her! She was such a joy to work with. We worked with Rachel throughout the entire year and she went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. You think you have everything handled then it’s the morning of your wedding and things get hectic. Despite the chaotic prep, she was able to gracefully handle everything from top to bottom and every detail was covered. Friends and family were so impressed by her and her team's professionalism and ability to guide the flow of events. You’ll save yourself a ton of stress by booking with Rachel and Linden Hall. We got married on 06/24/23 and I am still receiving compliments that this was the best wedding they ever attended. The venue, service, food, decor, music, cookie table, and drinks were the most talked about compliments we received. The food at Linden Hall is the best wedding food that I ever had and so many of our guests said the same thing. You truly cannot go wrong with Rachel and Linden Hall. If I could give Rachel and the Linden Hall team 1 million stars, I would! I just want to say THANK YOU. Rachel is truly amazing and I felt so lucky the entire wedding process to have her by my side! To be honest, I could not imagine having a wedding without her! She was such a joy to work with. We worked with Rachel throughout the entire year and she went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. You think you have everything handled then it’s the morning of your wedding and things get hectic. Our wedding was on 6/10/23 and we still can’t get over how perfect the day was thanks to the amazing staff at Linden Hall!! Rachel Swink, the wedding coordinator, is the absolute best and made the entire planning process such a breeze! We felt so relaxed on our wedding day knowing that Rachel and her team had everything under control. Her attention to detail is amazing and everyone could not stop raving about how sweet the rest of the Linden Hall staff is! Rachel personally reached out to all of our vendors and made sure that everyone knew what was going on the morning of the wedding. We had our ceremony outdoors and reception inside the mansion, and it was beyond perfect! The mansion and grounds are so beautiful on their own that you only need the bare minimum of decorations. All of our guests kept telling us that this was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to and they were not kidding!! It’s absolutely stunning and even our photographers were freaking out over all the beautiful backdrops for pictures! Not to mention that the food was also delicious, you really can’t go wrong with any of the menu options they offer. They were also incredible with accommodating any allergies/food intolerances! The venue was beautiful and the staff was very nice. We gave it 3 stars because of our interaction with the on-site wedding coordinator. At first Rachel was very nice, attentive, and helpful. She said she would be present on the day of our wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. However, she abandoned us after the ceremony without telling us or having someone else take her place. As a result it was left up to me (the bride) to tell the staff when to serve dinner, know when to do certain things (entrance into the dining area, cake cutting, first dance, etc.) which caused stress and confusion. During our meeting with the coordinator she assured me dinner would not take longer than an hour (I wanted 1.5 hours, but she convinced me not to) and that the bar service would not start until after dinner. Well, dinner ran 1.5 hours and the bar service started up during dinner meaning we lost time at the bar and time dancing because the DJ started playing music when he was supposed to (we only had the DJ for 4 hours after dinner). I was so stressed because things weren't running smoothly and I hadn't planned to be the organizer. I forgot about the bouquet toss which was very upsetting and I lost time with my friends and family who traveled from the west coast to attend. Finally, Rachel asked us to send pictures (engagement and others) so she could print them and put them up around the mansion as an added touch. We did not ask her to do this and thought it was very nice. On the day, we did not see any pictures of us any where and when we asked her where they were later she LIED! She said they were there and we just didn't see them because they blended in with the mansion. We have photo and video evidence that there were no pictures of us. Because this was not a service we asked for we would not have cared if she had just said she didn't have time to print them, but lying about it was dishonest and upsetting. This was a beautiful venue, but just beware of the untrustworthy coordinator.

The venue was beautiful and the staff was very nice. We gave it 3 stars because of our interaction with the on-site wedding coordinator. At first Rachel was very nice, attentive, and helpful. She said she would be present on the day of our wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. However, she abandoned us after the ceremony without telling us or having someone else take her place. As a result it was left up to me (the bride) to tell the staff when to serve dinner, know when to do certain things (entrance into the dining area, cake cutting, first dance, etc.) which caused stress and confusion. During our meeting with the coordinator she assured me dinner would not take longer than an hour (I wanted 1.5 hours, but she convinced me not to) and that the bar service would not start until after dinner. Well, dinner ran 1.5 hours and the bar service started up during dinner meaning we lost time at the bar and time dancing because the DJ started playing music when he was supposed to (we only had the DJ for 4 hours after dinner). I was so stressed because things weren't running smoothly and I hadn't planned to be the organizer. I forgot about the bouquet toss which was very upsetting and I lost time with my friends and family who traveled from the west coast to attend. Finally, Rachel asked us to send pictures (engagement and others) so she could print them and put them up around the mansion as an added touch. We did not ask her to do this and thought it was very nice. On the day, we did not see any pictures of us any where and when we asked her where they were later she LIED! She said they were there and we just didn't see them because they blended in with the mansion. We have photo and video evidence that there were no pictures of us. Because this was not a service we asked for we would not have cared if she had just said she didn't have time to print them, but lying about it was dishonest and upsetting. This was a beautiful venue, but just beware of the untrustworthy coordinator.

Every experience we decided to add onto the wedding (rehearsal and post-reception snacks) along with seeing our guests at the hotel-provided breakfast really added wonderful chances to connect with everyone the whole weekend.We decided to have our reception in the mansion and our ceremony in the garden gazebo. Each of the spaces were so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests. We just had our daughter’s wedding there this past weekend. I can’t say enough about Rachel and the staff there! Rachel is phenomenal at her job! She is 100/10! I adore everything about her! The wedding and reception were beautiful! We told her what we were looking to do, and she used her talents and expertise to create an unforgettable day! She is vibrant, energetic, organized, detailed and a complete joy to work with! The staff is so very helpful and attentive! They all will go out of their way to meet your needs and fulfill any requests you have. Everyone raved about the food! We did something a little different, using food stations and people could not say enough good things about the quality of the food and selections with the food stations… I think there were 30 some items to eat and choose from! We got married at linden hall on 6/25/22 and had our ceremony in the garden out front and reception in the mansion. The mansion obviously speaks for itself and is stunning from head to toe. It requires little decor because its already beautifully decorated, and some rooms are literally painted with 24k gold paint. If youve toured the mansion you know its an absolute stunner. The thing that makes Linden Hall unique is the planner/event coordinator/rockstar sweetheart Rachel. I am a wedding photographer for work which means every weekend of the year im at some venue dealing with their coordinator and i have yet to find someone who even comes close to holding a candle to Rachel. She is so knowledgeable, upbeat, fun, kind, quick to respond, and helpful in every single way. She goes above and beyond for the couples getting married at Linden Hall and she genuinely knows and loves the mansion and its history. I cant say enough great things about Rachel. Our wedding wouldve never been as amazing as it was without all her help, and all the flexibility she gave us working around my crazy work schedule and busy season. If you choose to get married at Linden Hall, you can rest easy that Rachel will make sure you have the day of your dreams. All the wait staff and employees were also great and super helpful, the food was amazing for both our rehearsal and wedding, and i just cant say enough great things about Linden Hall. 1000/10 recommended this venue and the team of amazing people who work there!

There are literally no words to describe our INCREDIBLE wedding at Linden Hall. Rachel and her team are absolute ROCKSTARS and the sweetest people you'll ever meet. From the initial tour of the venue to weeks after our wedding, we have received the most personalized service and more attention than we ever deserved. When you book your big day at Linden Hall, you get a history lesson, wedding coordinator, delicious food, and amazing servers/bartenders all wrapped into one! Rachel planned our rehearsal, dinner, morning-of snacks and drinks, ceremony, reception and even a late night buffet. Our guests raved about the food and service of every single staff member at LH. The on-site hotel, restaurant and bar gives you the feeling of a destination wedding without needing to fly hundreds of miles from home. We parked our cars Friday morning and didn't leave until Sunday afternoon. There's no need to worry about driving or arranging shuttles back to a hotel when you can literally walk from the reception to the after-party area and back to your room for the night. Everything being at one venue was so convenient, but each event of the weekend was held at a different spot on the property. There's a unique beautiful location for each step of the weekend without ever needing to leave the grounds. Rachel was a lifesaver throughout the entire planning process and even saved the day when the rental company dropped off the wrong chargers. She took care of the situation and had it fixed before I even stepped foot on the property on Friday. She hand delivered our favorite cocktails to us immediately following the ceremony and repositioned our ceremony elements into the reception area so we could continue to enjoy them the rest of the night. There is no other venue that provides such a welcoming environment than at Linden Hall. We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend and would relive this day over and over again if we could.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Every member of the staff going above and beyond doesn't even cover it. They had some of the best food I've ever had including rehearsal dinner, included breakfasts, appetizers, dinner, and even late night snacks. I cant even get started on the event coordinator, Rachel. She said from the beginning she would treat us like family if we let her and boy did she. She is a dream come true when planning your wedding and I wish I could put into words how great she is but there is just no way. Just an example 2 days before my wedding I went to her and said hey I have this idea for a champagne tower and all she responded with was \"omg that will be amazing, how many glasses do you need?\". Every single one of my friends and family members could not stop raving about their experience. We wanted everything in one spot which was huge for our day. Ceremony in the amazing mansion with beautiful staircase, with cocktail hour just in the next room/ patio, Huge tent reception down the hill, hotel and bar for the after party a few steps from the tent. Amazing experience since day 1 of planning. I cannot recommend them enough 10/10

They had some of the best food I've ever had including rehearsal dinner, included breakfasts, appetizers, dinner, and even late night snacks. I cant even get started on the event coordinator, Rachel. She said from the beginning she would treat us like family if we let her and boy did she. She is a dream come true when planning your wedding and I wish I could put into words how great she is but there is just no way. Just an example 2 days before my wedding I went to her and said hey I have this idea for a champagne tower and all she responded with was \"omg that will be amazing, how many glasses do you need?\". Every single one of my friends and family members could not stop raving about their experience. We wanted everything in one spot which was huge for our day. Ceremony in the amazing mansion with beautiful staircase, with cocktail hour just in the next room/ patio, Huge tent reception down the hill, hotel and bar for the after party a few steps from the tent. Amazing experience since day 1 of planning. I cannot recommend them enough 10/10

Where do I begin? Working with Rachel and Linden Hall was an absolute dream. I cannot recommend this venue enough. We had a mansion reception and everything was beautiful. We had to postpone twice because of the pandemic and Rachel was understanding and supportive throughout the process. She was so receptive and accommodating to our particular needs and was a joy to work with. Why get married in the city (Pittsburgh), when the views and accommodations are better (and cheaper) at Linden Hall?! The value you get at Linden Hall is incredible. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS and the staff are kind and professional. Our morning after breakfast was awesome too! Linden Hall is a hidden gem and a wonderful wedding venue spot, I wouldn't have went anywhere else!!

Immediately Rachel was on top of everything sending updates and being educated on what could and couldn't be done. Best of all for things that were originally discussed that couldn’t occur later due to covid Rachel came with back up plan after back up plan always keeping My husband and I’s wishes at the forefront. I am so thankful for linden hall during that time all contracts were honored and we were a team to make the best plan for us all. So many other brides with other venues did not get that same courtesy. Beyond covid.. Rachel from day one was organized, a leader and truly passionate for linden hall and the large role she plays for the venue. She knows her stuff and has quick answers. Day of she was an absolute dream with Manning day of coordination and ensuring organization which made my experience as a bride do enjoyable. Rachel is kind and bubbly and everyone would be so lucky to work with her! Linden hall staff alone were amazing. We had many family and guests say that everyone is so nice and accommodating. We were full of compliments from all of our wedding. Linden hall the structure is insanely beautiful. But the workers make it what it is. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and expertise linden hall gave to us! Best wedding ever!

Two of my family members have dietary issues, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of for the duration of our stay.As for the wedding experience, the bride and groom were married at the mansion, which has breathtaking views and beautiful landscaping. Where do I even begin?!Linden Hall was an absolute dream come true! It’s hard to put into words how perfect and smooth the day went. This is a venue you want to book with if you want a weekend Full of your family and friends with everything taken care of for you. Our guests got to arrive Friday for our rehearsal dinner and stay on site through to Sunday without ever having to worry about driving to and from the ceremony site to the reception area (everything is right there!). Rachel was extremely helpful and on top of everything. Words can’t explain how hospitable she was, along with the entire staff. You can tell that everyone who works there loves being a part of such a beautiful venue. The food was out of this world and we got so many compliments on it. The mansion for cocktail hour was breathtaking and our guests were wow’ed with its beauty. There aren’t many wedding venues that give you the opportunity to have so many different locations for the day (i.e., ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour in the mansion, reception in the tent near the hotel). Each part of the day flowed so smoothly. The tented reception was unlike any of that I have ever seen. You couldn’t even tell that you were in a tent with how beautifully it was decorated. Their preferred vendor for decorating the tent is an expert in the field and it shows. Not to mention how awesome it was to have the after party in the hotel lounge for hours and hours after the wedding ended. We were almost just as excited for the after party as we were for the wedding🤣 I will forever be grateful that Ryan and I stumbled upon this hidden gem at the beginning of our search. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and truly have Rachel at Linden Hall and the wonderful staff to thank for it. I will forever recommend this venue to all couples looking to tie the knot.

I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful and accommodating this venue is, but I will attempt to try and put it into words. We are a COVID couple whose original date was in October of 2020 and we FINALLY got to have the reception of our dreams this past July and it was well worth the wait.The wedding coordinator, Rachel, is a real-life wonder woman. She is without a doubt the \"X factor\" of this venue. She went above and beyond to address every question/concern we had (and there were many!) during the planning process and ever-changing restrictions. In one of the most stressful periods of our lives, she was always there for us with a positive and \"can-do\" attitude while still keeping it 100% transparent. Her attention to detail is unmatched and even the smallest of touches (for example she took our drink order during the rehearsal and had the drinks delivered as we were taking pictures during cocktail hour) went such a long way in contributing to a fantastic experience. She is just a kind, genuine and spunky soul who never missed a beat through everything. Seriously... THE BEST.Our guests are still raving about the venue's beauty and just how accommodating and pleasant the entire staff at Linden Hall was. We felt like we were taken complete care of from the moment we arrived to set-up on Friday to the following Sunday when we left. We are already looking forward to visiting for our anniversary :-)

His parents were married there in 1968, his brother also had his reception there and as a family, over the years, spent a lot of time there having dinner or just driving around to see the property. We got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2019 and my now husband mentioned about checking out Linden Hall to see if they had availability for 2020. I reached out and Rachel and she said they had only two dates available in August. So, we met with her, checked out the spot for the Tent and decided that's what we wanted to do. Then Covid hit.... We thought we would be ok being that we had booked for August. Rachel was amazing through everything and we kept in close contact with the ever changing rules and updates. Sadly, we ended up about a month before the wedding date cancelling our reception there. Rachel was so gracious and understanding and we still felt that we wanted to have some part of wedding there. We talked with Rachel and planned to have our Rehearsal Dinner in the Outdoor Bistro Area and they knocked it out of the park! They gave our guests such a great experience even with having to social distance, mask up, etc. Rachel planned small group (under 25 people) mansion tours prior to the dinner and it was a hit! I make a disclaimer that we did abide by the Covid Rules. Our guests thought everything about the evening was just fantastic. Knowing my husband’s love for the property, they tried to make sure that we did still have the Linden Hall Experience since we weren’t having our reception there. I was able to have beautiful pre-ceremony photos getting dressed as the bride and we had our formal photos taken there after the ceremony. I really can't say enough about Rachel, Tim and the Staff at Linden Hall. Through all of the changes, restrictions and everything Covid threw at all of us, they really went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. We just adore Rachel. She is truly a sparkling light of happiness and makes the planning experience so easy and so much fun. We would highly recommend anyone to pick Linden Hall as their venue. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Rachel for everything, YOU GIRL, ARE AMAZING!!

Knowing my husband’s love for the property, they tried to make sure that we did still have the Linden Hall Experience since we weren’t having our reception there. I was able to have beautiful pre-ceremony photos getting dressed as the bride and we had our formal photos taken there after the ceremony. I really can't say enough about Rachel, Tim and the Staff at Linden Hall. Through all of the changes, restrictions and everything Covid threw at all of us, they really went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. We just adore Rachel. She is truly a sparkling light of happiness and makes the planning experience so easy and so much fun. We would highly recommend anyone to pick Linden Hall as their venue. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Rachel for everything, YOU GIRL, ARE AMAZING!!

Linden Hall is a truly fantastic venue for a wedding! I can't thank Rachel enough for always making herself available throughout the whole planning process and even more so for all the questions we had the weekend of the wedding! She will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect for you. The ceremony garden is beautiful and overlooks the golf course which allows for some great picture opportunities. The tent is a great size and is very adaptable with Covid regulations so you will still be able to have a sizeable guest list for your event. The food is top notch. I ordered the Chicken Piccata and loved every bite...that I had time to eat! The mashed potatoes were also extremely good! They also set up 3 bars so there was never a long line and the selection was great. We had the rehearsal dinner on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and then breakfast for everyone who stayed overnight on Sunday morning. It is truly a weekend getaway which makes it even more magical. I can confidently say that if you book Linden Hall for your wedding you will not regret it.

Ladies & Gents, if you are looking for a dream wedding - this is your venue. I'll be honest, I couldn't even count how many times I sent Rachel email after email with questions - even before the covid craziness! She was ALWAYS on top of things, sending me detailed responses to keep me at ease. I knew throughout the entire process that we were in the best hands. Not only was she there every step of the way, but she also had so many sweet surprises planned for us on Saturday. She set up several pictures of us throughout the venue, and decorated the mansion for cocktail hour with the most precious decorations that felt so tailored to our relationship. I couldn't have imagined a wedding weekend without Rachel. We love her!!! Okay, let's talk venue.. I truly felt like a QUEEN getting ready in the mansion. Every room is decorated beautifully. The fireplaces, crown molding, and vintage feel made for an unbelievable setting to get mentally and physically ready for the ceremony. Rachel even had mimosas ready for us when we arrived! The guys got ready in the old bowling alley, and the pictures are honestly badass. The ceremony was located in the garden, and the views were perfect in the fall. The walk down the aisle is a long one, but I think that helped me to really take everything in, especially on the way back up with my HUSBAND!! We hosted our reception in the tent. With Covid - this was a life saver. Two of the tent walls were opened which felt great on the 75 degree day! There is also a lot of piece of mind with Linden Hall's heating / cooling system, so even if the day wasn't as nice, we would have been covered! We had plenty of space, and with three bars set up, our friends and family never had to wait long for a drink! I will say, it is a lot of white space - definitely plan to have your florist work their magic on the ceiling of the event space! We used Linda Brown Florals and I could have cried at the results - Kylie is a beautifully talented, sweet human that we love SO MUCH! The serving staff was wonderful - special shout out to Dawn, she was the sweetest! Dinner (what I had time to eat of it) was phenomenal - I will recommend the salmon until my last breath. We can't wait to have anniversary dinners here for years to come. The best part? It wasn't even over on Saturday! Sunday morning, we had breakfast with all of our guests that spent the night. This was a perfect way to get in some extra one-on-one time with guests that live farther away, and wrap up the weekend. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how perfect it was - we wish we could go back!

My husband and I were lucky enough to secure an October date at Linden Hall of 2019. Our friend mentioned that's where she recently got married when we were starting to look for venues and after looking at some pictures we thought \"Why not?\". It was our first venue we looked at and we didn't want to see anything else. We immediately fell completely in love and knew this was the perfect place to start our forever. How could it not be? It had everything we were looking for.. outside ceremony space, on-site catering, on-site bar, a motel for us and our guests so no one had to worry about driving and a back-up plan in case the weather wasn't great.. but the best thing of all was the mansion. Rachel and her staff have done a phenomenal job at keeping that place just as gorgeous as when it was first built. We received such amazing reviews from not only our family and friends but our photographer as well. There are so many fabulous spots for pictures that it became so hard for us choose! The food was also so incredible. The prime rib and lobster bisque is something so delicious you haven't lived until you've tried it. But let me also gush about the wedding coordinator, Rachel. She became my lifeline throughout my whole wedding process. I've called her close to tears some days because I was so stressed and she immediately calmed me down. She was nothing but helpful and informative the entire time we planned together. She helped with things I wasn't even thinking about and I'm so glad she did because she made our wedding that much more special. She truly loves each and every one of her couples and wants nothing but the best for their special day. If you're torn between venues I hope I've been able to help sway your decision with Linden Hall. It truly is a hidden gem and I hope I'm lucky enough to be able to go back and experience it all again through a guests' eyes.

RACHEL, now she is the GEM of Linden Hall! She is the most caring person that we had the pleasure of meeting throughout the engagement/wedding process. Rachel, has that “Yes we can” attitude that was so very much needed during the planning, re planning, and then re-planning again 2020 (COVID-19) wedding season. She kept it together for us when we were not sure we could anymore. I have never felt so comfortable picking up the phone and talking with a vendor as I have with Rachel. The professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, and overall quality of service she provides for Linden Hall Brides (and Moms) is top notch! Words cannot express how thankful I am to Linden Hall Wedding Coordinator Rachel Swink, and the staff, for allowing my daughter's wedding to run seamlessly from start to finish! The bride and groom, along with family and the wedding party, did not have to worry about a single thing the entire day! Rachel went above and beyond to make the venue exactly how my daughter imagined, adding personal touches everywhere! The BBQ rehersal dinner was perfect too! Everyone had so much fun, and I can't wait to see the beautiful pictures. I highly recommend Linden Hall for a wedding or any other special event!

Our wedding at Linden Hall was truly a DREAM. My guests still can not stop raving about it weeks after. Many said it was the most beautiful and detailed venue they have ever been too! The service was amazing and the food was to die for (another thing my guests could not stop talking about). We had an incredible experience from start to finish and it definitely would have not been the same with out the wedding coordinator, Rachel Swink. She is FANTASTIC at her job and we loved loved loved working with her. She is so sweet, so knowledgeable about the industry and made planning with them the easiest part of the wedding. Recommend her and this venue 110%

Where do I even begin. It has taken me since my wedding day May 4, 2019 to be able to even gather the words to write a review on Linden Hall. No matter what I say it cannot be enough to give credit to the uniqueness and beauty of this venue and the amazing Rachel and her staff. If I had to get married all over again I would do it the same exact way at Linden Hall. Our dreams came to life and I am forever dreaming about that day and that mansion! My husband and I got married at linden Hall on May 18, 2019. The Mansion is seriously one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. When I went to look at this venue, I instantly fell in love with it. I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding was! The staff at the restaurant and bar were very friendly and did a fantastic job the day off the wedding! A million thanks especially have to go to the wedding coordinator, Rachel. She did everything in her power to help make our wedding the most perfect day ever! Everything was the way we wanted it! Everything was beautiful and seriously just perfect! Everyone was complimenting how amazing our wedding was! People told me it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to! Rachel seriously nailed it, and I can't thank her enough for her time and effort. Rachel treated us like we were the only bride and groom she was planning for, when in reality, she was handling multiple couple's for multiple weddings. She was always on the ball with answering my questions, and always was able to ease my mind when I was worrying about things!! She kept things organized and on time, which is something my husband and I really appreciate it.So many people talk about how they didn't get to enjoy their weddings (missed all the food, dancing, etc), but we got to enjoy it all! It's just a small thing, but I was so grateful that the wait staff held a plate of appetizers for us to have at dinner. it was nice to be able to taste all the food that was served. Thank you again Rachel and the wonderful staff at linden Hall for all the work you put into our day. It was the best day of my life and more perfect than I imagined. Thank you times a million!!

I would not give this venue anything less than 10 stars!! We had my daughters wedding at Linden Hall last weekend. AMAZING in every way. The atmosphere, the mansion, the service, the food and most importantly Rachel, the wedding coordinator. She is top notch, without a doubt completely knows her stuff. Everything was to perfection and nothing left undone. She walked us through it all, over and over and eased my mind even up to weeks before the wedding. Our only glitch was we wanted the wedding outside and it rained. However, Rachel already had the mansion ready to go and we reviewed all of that at rehearsal. And for me, I thought it was better inside...the grand entrance the bridesmaids and my daughter made coming down the inside of the mansion steps was just breathtaking. Perfect wedding, perfect weekend in every single way. By the end of the weekend I wanted Rachel as my best friend. Just love her and everything about this place.

I can not say enough about how incredible our experience was with Linden Hall!! Blew us & our guests away!!! It all started with the wedding coordinator, Rachel. When you tour the property if you’re not sold by the beautiful scenery then you will be sold by how special Rachel makes you feel and how magical your wedding can be. She is exceptional!! She truly cares about you & cares about making your day amazing!! Very organized, responsive, but also very talented! If you only had her taking care of your wedding you’d have an awesome wedding... but with Linden Hall you have so many more talented & dedicated workers. The wait staff, motel staff, security, & grounds crew were incredible and so helpful!! They treated us & our guests like royalty! I could not imagine any other facility treating us all with such attention & kindness!!If you want a wedding that people talk about for years have it at Linden hall. The beautiful, historic mansion is not only a statement on its own, but adds such unique elegance to a wedding. Our ceremony & cocktail hour was held at the mansion. Our guests loved all the beautiful intricate decor & were quite interested in its history. It also made for the most stunning pictures!!!! And I mean STUNNING!!!!!Also we wanted a non traditional wedding & reception with more of a party atmosphere instead of the traditional formal affair. The wedding coordinator & General Manager, Tim, took my vision and escalated it beyond anything I could’ve imagined!! From the layout of the reception to the menu... it was all amazing!!! And speaking of amazing, the food was probably the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding!! We received numerous compliments from our guests stating the same thing. Actually many of our guests asked who catered because they couldn’t believe that such a small country gem could provide five star restaurant quality food... and that’s exactly what we had!! Including our brunch the following day... insanely delicious food!!! Again blown away!!We had the most incredible experience at Linden Hall!! I know our wedding would’ve been great at any other facility but it would’ve never been to the level of what we had at Linden Hall!!! I’m so grateful for everyone there who helped make our day SO special!!!! Linden Hall is truly a hidden gem!!!!

RACHEL AND LINDEN HALL WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I cannot recommend this venue enough. 6 months prior to our September 29, 2018 wedding- our previous venue fell through unexpectedly. Thankfully, I was able to reach out to Rachel at Linden Hall and we met up a week later for a tour of the grounds. Rachel was so thorough and gave us the most amazing tour of the historic mansion, which is absolutely breathtaking, the motel and the garden area. My Fiancé’ (now husband) and I had to have our wedding here! We booked instantly. Rachel was available throughout our wedding planning process. She answered every question I had in a detailed and timely manner- coming from an organized person- this meant a lot!! Rachel and the entire Linden Hall Team helped make our wedding dreams come true. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous and perfect our wedding was! · Ceremony: Outside Gardeno Absolutely breathtaking. I loved the natural beauty of the garden. No decorations needed.· Cocktail Hour: Located inside of the Historic Mansiono AMAZING! BEAUTIFUL! A MUST SEE!· Reception: Air conditioned Tent- Our guest count was roughly 240 people. We fit perfectly.· Motel: Our guests were able to stay at a motel located on the same grounds. Having everything in one location was very convenient especially for friends and family from out of town!· Food: We had a buffet style meal that included Prime Rib, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Crab Cakes.o Everyone, including myself and my husband, LOVED the food. We felt as if we were in a bubble of magic at Linden Hall! Rachel was *the most* accommodating venue coordinator and a pleasure. I am still reminiscing of our beautiful day. Our guests can’t stop talking about it either. We felt as if we were in a bubble of magic at Linden Hall! Rachel was *the most* accommodating venue coordinator and a pleasure. I am still reminiscing of our beautiful day. Our guests can’t stop talking about it either. My Daughter was married at Linden Hall on 8/18/18. We had looked at about 8 venues around the Pittsburgh area and when the last venue visit was made to Linden Hall, my daughter was sure that is where she wanted her wedding.The wedding turned out great and was more than we expected. My daughter was married in the mansion and the reception was in the tent. About 145 people attended. I am not a wedding expert by any means but after this experience, I have learned that the wedding coordinator is just as import as the venue.Rachel Swink was our wedding coordinator and was just fantastic. When we left the site after the venue visit and tour by Rachel, my daughter knew that Linden Hall where she wanted her wedding and she wanted Rachel to be the coordinator. The wedding itself turned out to be everything that Rachel promised and more. The venues were great, the food was great, and most importantly, every interaction with Rachel and her staff was fantastic. From the servers, food preparation, etc. everybody was very friendly and accomodating. I had several guests tell me after the wedding how nice the staff was.An added bonus to using Linden Hall is that the Linden Hall hotel is right there. We had about 40 rooms booked from Friday to Sunday and many guests did not leave the property for two days. The hotel was very convenient as my son-in-law's family was 3 hours away and most of his family stayed at the hotel.A second added bonus for myself and the groomsmen was the Linden Hall golf course. We played the course early Saturday morning and the course is really great.I would also recommend if you are considering this venue and have a videographer that you ask if they have a drone. My daughter's videographer had a drone and used it during the wedding. The video's from the drone looking over Fayette County and the mansion are great.I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a beautiful venue.

The grounds were well kept and looked amazing. The staff was friendly and inviting. Everything was perfect. Rachel, our coordinator, was AWESOME! Everything we wanted and asked for was taken care of, and she was such a wonderful person to speak to, I was always super excited to hear from her and she kept everything so organized. She pays special attention to every detail and really does her best to make this day as amazing as possible. She planned every last detail, she even put photos of my husband and I on the buffet stations which was unexpected, but personally appreciated. Day of, everything ran so smoothly and even my mother said it seemed like she could read our minds and we didn't have to ask for her help, she was already there ready to tackle everything that came our way. I cannot say enough about Rachel, I seriously could not have done it without her.My husband and I definitely lucked out with this venue. It was very well priced per person and everything was included in the price with ZERO hidden fees. We were able to have our ceremony in the gorgeous mansion gardens, cocktail hour inside the historic mansion, and reception in a beautiful white tent all at one location. There's also a hotel and restaurant on the property as well, perfect for an after party. There wasn't anything missing on our special day.I would book this venue over and over again, but hopefully I won't have to!! :)

We married in the garden, had cocktail hour in the mansion, and had our reception in the tent. Rachel had a special eye for detail and used some of my extra flowers to spruce up the mansion. She even used our engagement photos to adorn the pathway of the buffet line. I cannot say enough positive things. And, truthfully, when you consider everything Linden Hall offers at the price per plate, this venue is an excellent value for brides who want an extravagant wedding without paying 55k.

The second that we pulled up to Linden Hall Mansion to tour back in October I knew this was finally the place that we would have our wedding! Rachel made the entire process so easy, and made sure to go above and beyond to accommodate some of our guests with their food allergies. She felt more like a sister that was helping me plan out my dream wedding than a wedding coordinator, I cannot thank her enough!Every little girls dream is to feel like a princess on the day of their wedding and having our wedding at Linden Hall achieved that and then some! The Mansion is absolutely STUNNING, the English Garden is beautiful, and the tent tops it all off! I couldn't have picked a better place than the tent at Linden Hall! The staff, especially the wedding coordinator Rachel, was absolutely amazing and so incredibly helpful with everything. Rachel set up so many special touches to surprise us when we got pictures taken at the mansion and even handmade a wonderful wedding gift! And the food! People are still telling me how good the food was! My husband couldn't get enough of the mouthwatering crab cakes! I almost want to get married again just so I can have another reception there! I highly recommend Linden Hall for an unforgettable wedding!

i fell in love with Linden Hall the first time we toured it! i had been looking for a place with an outdoor area for the ceremony and indoor for the reception with a vintage feel. with Linden Hall i achieved all my wants and needs and then some. the wedding was beautiful and the guests raved about it. the only criticism i have about the venue is that when my husband arrived that morning to decorate, nothing was ready for him. the tables were not set up to be decorated, the cleaning was not done, and there was not sufficient help as was promised. because it took longer to decorate, when i got there my husband had to shower and get ready. he hurried as fast as he could but our photo time was cut short and we did not get all the pictues we wanted. also, bonnie, the coordinator was amazingly good in the months leading up to the wedding, but on the day of she was shaking with nerves and nowhere to be found half the time. she didnt notify the guests where to go after the ceremony and didnt barely talk to us that nigh at all. overall, though, the day and night was beautfiul and we had the time ofour lives. we are still recieving compliments on how unique and touching our wedding was. Linden Hall definitely made the night with the beautiful, ornate decor and ambiance!

My husband and I had such a positive experience working with the staff at Linden Hall. Nestled in the Laurel Mountains, this private mansion, hotel, and golf course becomes a one-stop location for all of your and your guests' needs! We rented the mansion for both our ceremony and our reception and the location couldn't have been prettier! Bonnie Timms, head of catering and event coordinator worked hard to ensure that we had everything we needed and was always available for questions that I had regarding the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception--she's truly fantastic and a sweetheart. The mansion itself is so gorgeous that you won't feel the need to decorate much more than your tables! With a separate area for the bar, dancing, and dinner, your guests will have plenty of room to enjoy themselves! The patio/porch that runs along the back of the mansion is beautiful and gives sweeping views of Pennsylvania's mountains. Guests can also sit out there for the cocktail hour and anytime of the night they want to grab some fresh air. Because we got married in October, they even turned on giant heat lamps on the patio so that people wouldn't get too chilled. We loved that the price of the mansion along with the meals and bar are all included in one per-person fee (this also included all taxes, gratuity, cake-cutting, set-up, and tear-down). Remember that you're charged per-person, so the bigger the wedding, the bigger your overhead. We were so pleased with how the day went from start to finish--the mansion looked like a dream! Also, your guests can stay right on site at the hotel down the hill from the mansion. This was perfect for us as our family was all traveling from far out of town to be with us. The price of the hotel room includes a full breakfast which is a nice bonus. The only thing I'd have to say is that the hotel is a bit out-dated (think 1970s), so the accommodations, while perfectly acceptable aren't anything flashy and showy. You'll feel like you have your own private village for the weekend! Also worth noting is that this mansion is very secluded--you're way up in the mountains and a good 45-60 minute drive south of Pittsburgh. Consider this when you're planning delivery of things like your flowers, cake, and making appointments for hair/nails/makeup. We made it work for us just fine, but if you're picky or are expecting certain things, it's important to remember the area. Personally, I can't imagine a place that was better suited to our wedding needs, and it was a dream location for my husband and me. All of our family and friends commented on how beautiful the mansion is, and we couldn't agree more!

My husband and I had such a positive experience working with the staff at Linden Hall. Nestled in the Laurel Mountains, this private mansion, hotel, and golf course becomes a one-stop location for all of your and your guests' needs! We rented the mansion for both our ceremony and our reception and the location couldn't have been prettier! Bonnie Timms, head of catering and event coordinator worked hard to ensure that we had everything we needed and was always available for questions that I had regarding the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception--she's truly fantastic and a sweetheart. The mansion itself is so gorgeous that you won't feel the need to decorate much more than your tables! With a separate area for the bar, dancing, and dinner, your guests will have plenty of room to enjoy themselves! The patio/porch that runs along the back of the mansion is beautiful and gives sweeping views of Pennsylvania's mountains. Guests can also sit out there for the cocktail hour and anytime of the night they want to grab some fresh air. Because we got married in October, they even turned on giant heat lamps on the patio so that people wouldn't get too chilled. We loved that the price of the mansion along with the meals and bar are all included in one per-person fee (this also included all taxes, gratuity, cake-cutting, set-up, and tear-down). Remember that you're charged per-person, so the bigger the wedding, the bigger your overhead. We were so pleased with how the day went from start to finish--the mansion looked like a dream! Also, your guests can stay right on site at the hotel down the hill from the mansion. This was perfect for us as our family was all traveling from far out of town to be with us. The price of the hotel room includes a full breakfast which is a nice bonus. The only thing I'd have to say is that the hotel is a bit out-dated (think 1970s), so the accommodations, while perfectly acceptable aren't anything flashy and showy. You'll feel like you have your own private village for the weekend! Also worth noting is that this mansion is very secluded--you're way up in the mountains and a good 45-60 minute drive south of Pittsburgh.
