My husband and I chose Lippincott Manor for our wedding and had the most amazing day! Tricia and Marty are wonderful and truly care about making sure you have the best wedding. The planning process was very easy and the venue is beautiful. We loved the open concept and having the ceremony on site. The venue is also very accessible, one of our groomsman uses a wheelchair and was very comfortable and that was something important to us when choosing a venue. We lucked out and had perfect weather and ended up with amazing golden hour pictures. DJ Bri was fantastic and the last song of the night had everyone on the dance floor. The staff, food, and drinks were all great and everyone had a great time with the photobooth. 10/10 would recommend this venue! Reviewed on 30-08-2023

Kristal Lopez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-09-2022 Our special day was 9/9/22 and we had the pleasure of not only celebrating our day at an unbelievable venue with the people we love most but also were able to become part of the “exclusive” 9/9 anniversary club with owners Tricia and Marty. While attempting to locate the perfect venue for our wedding, we stumbled upon Lippincott Manor. Once we arrived, we started pointing out all of the pleasant small details that caught our eye later to find out that the owner, Marty, was the artist behind most of what you’ll see. We loved that! The decor was exactly what we had hoped to find and the tent with retractable sides was perfect for anyone who still had reservations about being in an enclosed space with a large group due to Covid. We saw it as a win win! Tricia was the second half of the one two punch that would seal the deal and have us walking away talking about how “perfect” the venue & owners were the entire 2 hour ride back home. Questions were answered by them that we never would’ve even thought to ask. The level of professionalism and conciseness was impeccable. They both made what anyone planning a wedding would know to be a stressful time as pleasant and easy as possible. The communication was fantastic. Tricia clearly doubles as a wedding planner and thank God for that because she kept everything in order and on schedule. We wouldn’t have had a successful wedding day without her! So now our big day arrives and the network of bakers, DJ’s and photographers Lippincott utilizes meshed together as seamless as we had hoped. The fact that they work together so often made the night go smoothly and freed us up to enjoy time with our family & guests. The all inclusive package is the way to go! We danced all night long all the while catching glimpses of our newest friends Tricia and Marty smiling and clearly enjoying seeing everyone just as happy as we were. Allie Riccardi(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-07-2022 I cannot rave enough about how WONDERFUL our experience was with Trish and Marty at the Lippincott Manor. First and foremost, this venue is absolutely beautiful. Trish and Marty do an incredible job at making the property picture perfect and inviting to anyone who stops by. From our first visit over a year before the wedding they made us feel special and welcome. They are genuinely excited for you and your event from the get-go. Trish is incredibly organized, letting us know down to the finest details how the evening was expected to pan out. Over the course of the year, they were always available with quick turnaround responses if we had any questions or needed recommendations for any services (which they also have several recommendations for all different services on their website). Once the time got closer to the wedding date, we made a few trips to the venue and after every visit, I felt so much more at ease. They assured us everything was going to go smoothly and there was not going to be anything to worry about, and they couldn’t have been more right. Once wedding day came the venue operated like a well-oiled machine. We were expecting a storm during the time of the ceremony and Trish somehow knew the exact timing to make sure we didn’t get poured on outside. She was spot on! We missed the storm by minutes. We were all sheltered by the tent until the rain stopped, the walls were rolled up and we were able to go outside, play games, take pictures, and all have the time of our lives. The food was excellent, the venue was picturesque, Trish, Marty and the rest of the staff were excellent, and we would truly not change a thing. It was a better night than we could have ever asked for. Reviewed on 16-07-2022

Lilia Hadjiivanova(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2021 If you are LGBTQ+ or on the left side of politics - don't have your wedding here.We originally decided on this venue because we were looking for something upstate with a rustic vibe, close to NYC and within our budget. This was one of the only venues that fit our requirements. Owners Marty and Tricia seemed nice enough and assured us they had had gay weddings there before. We wanted an all-vegetarian menu and they worked with us to make it happen -- it was absolutely delicious! We also asked to bring our own beer in addition to the ones they offer (the just have the basics like Bud Light and Stella) and bring our own rakia, which is a traditional alcohol in my culture. So they were very flexible about that. Tricia was the only person I communicated with throughout all the planning and she was always very prompt, sweet and willing to work with us – super on top of it. Giving credit where it's due. HOWEVER. We had gone to the venue in early November 2020 for a second visit and there was a massive Trump 2020 flag by their house (which is next to the venue). That left a very bad taste in our mouth because we are NOT Trump supporters and we definitely don't want anything political anywhere near our wedding venue. But it was outside of wedding season so we figured hopefully it won't be there for our wedding. The flag indeed wasn't there for our wedding but when we arrived for wedding rehearsal the night before, we were greeted by a big Blue Lives Matter flag painted on the barn next to the reception tent -- that structure is the first thing you see when you drive onto the property. It was SO disappointing. This does not align at all with our values, nor with the values of our guests. On the day of the wedding, things went relatively smoothly from our perspective, though the staff that served the food did not smile at all and we noticed them staring at us like they had never seen queer people before -- it was a bit uncomfortable. We later found out from our guests that that was not necessarily their experience. We had asked the venue if we can temporarily label the bathrooms to be for all genders, but Tricia refused. Since we had trans and nonbinary guests at our wedding and we wanted them to feel comfortable (and gender is a social construct anyway), we told our guests to ignore the signs and use the bathrooms they are most comfortable in. One of our friends who is a woman was washing her hands in the \"men's\" bathroom and Marty went in there to tell her she is in the wrong bathroom. The beer we brought is made by our friend (who was also our DJ) and is called \"Dyke Beer\" which is a staple in the local queer community. When guests ordered it, Marty would make comments like \"how can you drink that? it's disgusting, I'd never drink it\". And multiple people told us that the cocktails were VERY watered down. We paid for top shelf full bar. When our friends found out how disappointed we were with the pro-cop flag, they surprised us with a big banner that covered it, saying “Welcome to Terry and Lilia’s wedding” which doubled as a guest book. It was temporarily taped to the barn and could easily be taken off later. Our friends saw Marty tear it down, crumple it and throw it in the garbage. They confronted him about it and he said he was “very mad” at us for defacing his property. A temporary sign isn’t really defacing and I’d argue that he defaced the American flag. The venue is beautiful but these are just not our people. Reviewed on 13-01-2022

Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was--from the grounds, to the flowers outside, the layout, and just everything about the decor. Everyone loved Tricia's rustic touches and I would have to agree. Seeing everything come together when I walked into the venue was so beautiful, it almost made me cry...happy tears of course. People are still talking about the meatballs from the cocktail hour haha. Everyone had something great to say about the food and the staff as well. Your staff was very kind to all the guests and helpful as well. Tricia & Marty's hospitality is beyond anything I have ever seen. They truly love what they do and it shows--from Tricia running the show on wedding day to Marty manning the carving station and chatting up the guests. My mom told me that one of our guests mentioned how difficult it was for his wife to get on and off the school bus, and you guys with whatever you had available saved the day and fashioned something to help her. You went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests, and I could not appreciate that more. Tricia was a godsend that day. Besides dealing with everything going on that day, she was true to her word and made sure that we ate both at the cocktail hour and dinner, and you put myself, my mom, and sister at ease. We are beyond grateful to have chosen such a beautiful venue with such a loving and caring couple to host. The owners, Tricia and Marty, are truly so caring, responsive, and helpful, and you can see every bit of work they invest into their venue from beautiful decor & landscaping to a flawless execution of events. We used their all-inclusive package and booked our DJ, photographer, & florist all at once with the venue which already included catering & cake (From EatThis - which was absolutely delicious btw). This helped us get so many of the \"big\" details out of the way from the start, AND having vendors who know your venue is a huge deal and I believe helped our day go as smooth as it did.We booked in 2018 for a September 2020 wedding, which we ultimately decided to postpone due to COVID, and we were in awe of the ease we had postponing to May 2021. Tricia was also very reassuring and responsive when it came to my concerns about COVID rules & restrictions, which were thankfully dramatically lifted 2 weeks prior to our date. Some things that stood out on the day of -- it had JUST stopped raining and was actually very chilly, but we still wanted our ceremony outdoors in their beautiful ceremony area, so Marty brought a leaf blower and dried off all the wooden benches right before guests arrived. After the ceremony, they had plates of appetizers and drinks ready for us outside (to make sure we eat before the mingling starts), but we made a mad dash into the tent due to the cold weather, so Tricia made a point to pull my husband and I aside in the back and make sure we ate some hot food. I probably wouldn't have eaten at cocktail hour if it weren't for this! We did the Venetian table add-on, and the desserts were TO DIE FOR. Chelsea Orts(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-10-2018 This venue is absolutely adorable. If you’re going for a more intimate rustic affair this is definitely your place. It is definitely a budget venue the price is unbeatable. Trish and marty are the owners and have created this little hidden love haven. Super cute. She does an awesome job at executing your dream. She put all my decor out exactly as I asked without a question asked since I had so many homemade decor items. Although I loved the venue and my day was a success there are some things I didn’t like. Overall it was good but it could be better. 1. Marty and Trish were doing a “tasting event ” every year when I first booked. They cancelled it after I booked due to the increased audience they attracted. So yea I didn’t get to try and of the wedding food before hand. Food was good but really cold by the time you walked to the table with it. Also I paid for prime rib and everyone told me it was roast beef not prime rib. I didn’t eat it so I don’t know. 2. I booked my wedding two years out and made all my decor including my centerpieces which consisted of candles. A year out she messaged everyone an “updated” tip list. Which didn’t allow candles I figured it didn’t relate to me because I signed a contract but it did. So about a month before the wedding as I was confirming the decor she told me it wasn’t allowed. She was kind enough to meet me in the middle and take off the price of the s’mores for our campfire since it was an added expense and broke contract. Due to the weather the day of the wedding the campfire was cancelled. So the compensated s’mores were compensated for nothing. When asked about refund was told that an extra platter of shrimp was put out( that wasn’t asked for) to make up for it. Nice gesture but still not what I asked for. But She was kind enough to give us a complimentary apple cider stand since I had ten no shows. 3. When we were getting ready for our ceremony we asked for a drink to calm our nerves and was told by the friends who went to get our drinks that Trish said they don’t serve drinks before ceremony and asked if we ate anything? She did end up giving the drinks but I was annoyed that this was even an issue. We are adults.4. From guests complaints I was told that when they ordered a double vodka and sprite the bartender said, “no sorry we’ll run out of vodka” mind you I paid for an open bar. As well as bar service being extremely slow(there was a long line always waiting for drinks) 5. Another guest complaint, When guests went up for food(it’s buffet style) if they asked for more raviolis or mashed potatoes they were told no because they need to save room for other food choices. 6. Lastly at ten min to 10:00pm when they end the reception( due to it being residential area it had to be over at ten) Trish was yelling at staff to “wrap it up its ten min to ten” I was told this by another guest at my wedding.Like I said the wedding was a success and they did a good job. But these things were definitely bothersome. Reviewed on 29-10-2018

Anonymous (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-07-2017 I never imagined that a wedding venue could be such a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I had looked at many locations, most being cookie cutter wedding factories and the same old wedding halls. We found Lippincott and we were blown away. The rustic feel is exactly what we were seeking, and the scenery was out of this world. Most of the decor is actually made by Marty from scratch, and his skill is amazing. Marty and Trish were also far and away the most welcoming and friendly people of any place we had visited.Throughout the process, Trish and Marty were readily accessible and frequently touched base regarding the wedding details. They also updated us on ongoing work they were doing at the venue, which turned out to improve an already seemingly perfect spot. At the wedding, there was absolutely nothing amiss. All their decor was perfect and our own decor touches were in order where we asked them to be. Unfortunately Trish was ill and unable to attend, but Marty flawlessly coordinated everything from start to finish. The food was excellent, nothing went wrong, and our guests still can't stop raving about how incredibly beautiful and perfect the venue was! Trish and Marty feel like family to us now, they were simply that amazing. We would recommend Lippincott Manor to everyone seeking to escape the wedding factories and have an unforgettable wedding experience.Married 5/7/16 Mike and Kerry Reviewed on 18-05-2016

Tiffany Dailey(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-06-2015 Words can’t describe how happy we were having our wedding at Lippincott –but we’ll try! First and foremost, the grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. You can tell that a lot of personal care and heart goes into every detail from the beautiful landscaping and flowers everywhere to the details like cute wedding signs, rope lighting, and gazebo. The venue is highly customizable to whatever kind of wedding you’re looking for. They have all the tables, chairs, and table settings available to you - and lots of napkin color choices. They also have multiple choices for appetizers, entrees, and drinks. Plus they come with an amazing package that helps you choose photographer, DJ, and florist. And they work with a local cake baker that you can utilize for your wedding cake or for some AMAZING little cookies, eclairs, and other desserts. But if that's not enough, they have TONS of phenomenal add-ons! They'll set up a lemonade stand, candy bar (of your color choice, of course), ice cream stand, mashed potato bar, bonfire with s'mores, sky lanterns, and more! \r\rWhat really makes this venue stand out, though, are the owners / coordinators Tricia and Marty. Every time we met with them we knew we were in good hands. Each step of the way they went above and beyond to remove any stress about planning. They brought everything together that made planning so easy. Marty has done a phenomenal job adding personal touches to the grounds and Tricia was incredibly adept at diffusing stressful situations that we approached her with while planning and on the day-of. We even had guests at the wedding saying how friendly, helpful, calm, and enjoyable our coordinators were. They both made themselves available on a regular basis and were attentive, considerate, and flexible throughout the whole process. The wedding itself was an incredible experience that we couldn’t have had without them. We simply cannot overstate how highly we recommend having your wedding at Lippincott Manor. This was an extremely affordable wedding considering the typical cost of weddings and it looked like it cost \"a million bucks\".
