Caitlyn Ryser(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-12-2019 This venue was the perfect venue for our beautiful winter wedding reception! It is a new facility with big windows overlooking the golf course. Barb was great to work with. She was super attentive to everything. Most of our guests stayed at the new attached hotel, which had a pool and hot tub that keep the kids busy. We had an amazing wedding weekend! Reviewed on 01-02-2020
Raelynn Ruehle(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-08-2019 The venue is beautiful, but the staff needs some work. We had several complications in the planning process where we were having to contact the event planner to setup meetings. Where I felt as if that should have been her role. When we did meet to go over things I usually came prepared with what needed to be discussed, but felt as if I was the one running the meeting. It was a lot of added stress to us planning as I didn't feel like the event coordinator had my best interest or really cared about what I as the bride wanted. Being that it's a new venue they definitely have a lot to workout staff/business wise. Everything was verified the week prior to the wedding, but somehow we were being asked important questions the night prior. Not to mention our event planner was not on site the day of our wedding, which in part led to our meal sides being completely wrong. There were lots of last minute complications we were having to put up with because the person we dealt with the full year of planning our wedding was absent the day of the event. Due to our meal being over 50% wrong and nothing could be done about it as my husband and I only knew as we were served the day of our wedding. We waited a bit to hear if they had noticed their mistake. Days passed and nothing had been said. I decided to reach out to the event planner who then in part blamed the food and beverage coordinator (which we had not spoke to prior to this moment.) Our event coordinator was the one who booked our meal choices 6 months in advance and who was responsible for communicating this to the food and beverage people. Needless to say it took several weeks to come to any agreement that we deserved to be compensated for this huge mistake. I mean after all the food is an important part of the day to make guests happy and full. We didn't let this ruin our day because at that point it was out of our hands. These are only a handful of the issues we dealt with - all in all it's a beautiful venue, but until the staff can figure out how to work together and communicate it won't be a successfully run venue.
