Based in Hastings, MN, Little Log House Pioneer Village offers couples a rustic, newly renovated place to use as their wedding venue. This setting has been carefully renovated over the years to maintain its historic charm. From the lush gardens to the dozens of restored buildings, these surroundings will make you and your guests feel like you're stepping back in time. Founders Steve and Sylvia Bauer created this village as a way to share a part of Minnesotan history with visitors. The property now features 160 acres of land, and the team welcomes soon-to-be-weds to host their special day on the visually rich grounds. You will have various event spaces to choose from for your ceremony and reception. One of their largest venues is The Stable, where up to 299 guests can be seated on the bench-style seats. An extensive aisle leads to a stunning altar space, where a natural stone fireplace will act as your backdrop. Eye-catching chandeliers hang from the ceiling to cover your ceremony in a romantic light. Also available is the St. Boniface Church, an extravagant brick building originally built in the late 1800s. Outdoor celebrations can take place in Sylvia's Gardens, which features a large gazebo, vintage water wheel, and manicured lawns that create an enchanting, fairytale atmosphere. After you exchange your vows, you and your guests can then move to the Little Log House Village Hall for your reception. Before your big day begins, you and your wedding party will be welcome to use the onsite get-ready suite. The team at Little Log House Pioneer Village will handle setup and teardown, giving you more time to spend with your loved ones. They will also connect you with their list of trusted vendors to help you create your dream day.

Little Log House Pioneer Village is the definition of a hidden treasure. I still can't believe we found a place that had SO much to offer for an insanely affordable price!The location and grounds are simply unreal. The campus is sprawling so your guests have plenty to explore as you and your party take photos... if you can decide where to take them, that is. There are SO MANY gorgeous spots (rustic bridge, fairytale garden, historic buildings and meadows, etc.), our photographer was in heaven! We also loved that we could easily hold the ceremony and reception at the same location, and both the church and the reception hall are pulled straight from the Pinterest rustic wedding board of your dreams. There's a getting ready cabin for the wedding party next to the chapel free of charge, and some of my favorite memories of the day happened there as me, my mom and grandma and aunts, and my bridesmaids spent sweet, unhurried time together in a gorgegous space.Beauty of the venue aside, I'd recommend LLHPV in a heartbeat for the stellar management alone. From my initial inquiry and location visits, to coordination leading up to the day and the big day itself, this family-owned operation is a dream. They're so flexible with your requests and are insanely organized, so our wedding day went off without a single hitch (seriously... not one!). We also loved that there are no hidden fees -- none. I actually had to call a few times to clarify that we didn't have to pay for services I'd see at other venues (cake cutting fees, getting-ready spaces, parking, in-house catering, use of sound system, bringing your own DJ, party snacks for guests, etc.) I'm not a native Minnesotan, so my parents were wary of an out-of-state wedding. After everything they experienced with Little Log House Pioneer Village, they say they can't imagine my wedding being held anywhere else. Prep my dad with a tissue before you ask, however -- he gets misty eyed thinking abou it. :)

We heard about this venue through a friend that had recently attended a wedding - we loved everything it! Angie was so responsive during the planning process- we were able to see the venue multiple times. We got so much feedback about how beautiful and unique the venue was from many of our guests! The getting ready rooms were very spacious. There are so many amazing places for pictures. The Stable and Village Hall are beautifully designed! We booked all of our other vendors off of their recommended vendor list and could not be more grateful! They were all wonderful!

Amazing grounds and spaces for wedding. It is beautiful! There are multiple options for ceremony spaces, as well as the village hall for the reception. The getting ready suites are big and cute! The staff were responsive to questions and very professional. Since there was no wedding the day before ours, we were able to decorate the village hall & rehearse in the stable the day before instead of the day of. There is plenty of parking, and plenty of room in the reception hall.It is, however, expensive, and there are a handful of rules to follow. You have to pick your caterer from a list provided by the little log house of about 6 caterers, all of which are very good, it just limits your options. They had a preferred time for the ceremony, but when we asked them if we could move it they did allowed us to. The little log house is the sole beverage provider as well. They do a good job, provide the bartenders, wines are good quality, but it can be expensive. You are pretty much paying bar prices for everything, so if you plan to have an open bar or similar, be prepared to pay for it. Overall I would recommend!

Seriously the best!! Angie was so great to work with while planning for our wedding. This venue is gorgeous. I cannot believe how many of our guests can up to us raving about the venue. All staff we worked with were very professional and helpful.

The Little Log House was the best place to have a wedding reception! The planning process was made so easy by Angie. She answered every single question I had in a timely manner. You can rest assured knowing these girls have got weddings down! They are such an experienced team and great to work with. Jessie was my day of coordinator and she was great as well. I worried about absolutely nothing because they had it all handled. I got endless compliments from my guests about how great the day was. This is a unique venue with lots to see and do, your guests won't be bored!

Our coordinators were very professional and laid everything out at the beginning. We thought it was a very good price for the venue at the time. It's not cheap, but if you're wanting something very picturesque, this is the place! My only complaint was that we had to clean up our getting ready suites before the ceremony. Cleaning up is the last thing you want to think about before walking down the aisle.

Our coordinators were very professional and laid everything out at the beginning. We thought it was a very good price for the venue at the time. We got married at the Little Log House this past weekend and were blown away by the support by Angie, Tiffany, and Jessie. Very positive experience at Little Log House Pioneer Village. It’s everything we were looking for in a unique venue. There are several choices for the ceremony such as the church, stable or gardens. The village hall is perfect for dinner and dancing. We were going to hold the social hour in the saloon, but the weather didn’t permit that. It’s a photographer’s paradise, too, with all the different buildings and areas to take pictures in. The venue is a bit remote and a few miles from any hotels. You should prearrange transportation as you cannot get an Uber from the location. Staff were easy to work with and helped us out in so many ways. We highly recommend the venue.

We mainly worked with Angie and Tiffany. They answered every question we had promptly and went out of their way to make the day special. They made it easy for us to do walk-throughs for planning and a rehearsal. We really wanted a picture on a tractor so they even got one out for us to be able to do this. Afterward they sent us some photos and videos which were amazing because it was really the first glimpse we got to see of the day.One of the benefits of this location is the multiple options for the ceremony. We had originally planned the ceremony in the garden but decided to move it into the stable because of the heat. This transition went very smoothly and we were very happy with having the ceremony in the stable.We loved how many aspects there are at this location. The garden is gorgeous, the field is wonderful for sunset pictures, our wedding party had a blast taking fun saloon pictures, plus the bridge, the cars and much more. The suites to get ready in were perfect and the reception hall was beautiful and so much fun. In hindsight one thing we could have done better is kept our phones with us for communication during the pictures and social hour on the day of the wedding. Since the venue is so large it can make communication difficult amongst a large wedding party, especially if you are taking pictures in multiple places. We got through it and had an amazing day, but hopefully this tip could help someone in the future!We highly recommend the Little Log House and are looking forward to when they open to the public so we can go back and reminisce. We were so blessed to have our special day here and it will always be a wonderful memory!

I highly recommend working with the Little Log Pioneer Village for all your wedding needs. They have excellent communication, beautiful amenities and the most helpful staff! Throughout the wedding planning process they were always ready to lend a helping hand, answer an abundance of questions and/or offer their professional recommendations. Worth every penny. Very responsive, helpful with planning, set up and take down. Beautiful venue from getting ready to ceremony to things to do to reception. They even let us take our engagement photos there. They give you a list of vendors you have to use which I thought was annoying at first but learned they already screened them to make sure you are getting the best experience possible. They want your wedding to be perfect and as stress free as possible. They will even give you photos from previous weddings if you need ideas or references for set up.

The Little Log House Pioneer Village was a dream come true for our wedding venue. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, we continue to get compliments on every aspect of our wedding. First off, the grounds and spaces are GORGEOUS! In addition, it is so affordable, especially considering everything included. I feel so blessed to have found this wedding venue. Finally, the team was amazing to work with, they answered questions throughout the entire process and provided incredible guidance. I could not recommend this venue more. We loved our venue! The staff were incredibly accommodating & the space was beautiful. There is such a variety in outdoor spaces which was also a plus! The getting ready space was adequate for our large wedding party as well!

We liked that we could spend the entire day on the property - starting with getting ready in the bridal and groom suites all the way through our ceremony in Sylvia's garden, social hour at the saloon, and reception in the village hall. Not only is the property gorgeous and unique, but the team at LLH was so helpful and kind throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful for all that they did to help make our day wonderful. We can't recommend LLH enough!!

The moment we visited the venue, my husband and I fell in love with it! There is not another venue like it- so unique! We had our ceremony in The Stable- a new building that is STUNNING! It was important for us to find a venue that had a non-church indoor ceremony space separate from the reception space, as we didn't want a room flip. This venue was one of the only venues with this option and the buildings are right next to each other! Even though it was cold and snowy, our guests raved about being about to explore the grounds and all the interesting buildings! The staff at the Little Log House were so easy to work with and very accommodating! It honestly felt like they would do anything to make your day perfect- you asked and they made it happen! This was my dream venue and they helped me have my dream wedding!

The staff that work at LLH were very helpful before, during and even after our wedding and were all so sweet to me and my guests. A lot of my guests had been to this venue before they remodeled it and couldn't believe how amazing the newly renovated venue looked compared to when they saw it before. Lastly if you are looking for a venue with multiple photo spots, this is your venue. They have so many spots inside and outside to take pictures at. I was only able to take pictures at a couple spots because they seriously have so many options to choose from and not enough time in the day to take them everywhere. Overall everything about this venue is great and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

The venue, staff, and accommodations were absolutely amazing! They were so great to worth with, especially during COVID, as well as the caterers that were suggested by the venue. This was the best cost venue we could find for everything they offered. The staff was available for every question I had, even a year leading up to the wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing, mostly due to the venue and staff there. If I could go back and re-live our wedding, I would, but not to change anything, just to live it again because it truly was one of the best days of my and my husbands lives.

Little Log House Pioneer Village is such a beautiful and unique wedding venue that left us and our guest speechless. The first time I saw this venue it took my breath away, and many of our guests felt the same way. The newly renovated getting ready suites were the perfect place to get ready and the salon chairs in the girls' suite provided great lighting and space for our hair and makeup artists. The Stable ceremony site, and Village Hall for the reception are light, bright, airy and modern that require little to no decorating because they are gorgeous on their own! The grounds of the village provide so much for guests to look at and explore during cocktail hour, provide a sense of nostalgia and are the perfect backdrop for you wedding photos!Planning a wedding during covid was no small task. When looking for a venue in April 2020, most places would only do virtual tours and it was hard to really visual the space, layout and envision having our wedding there. LLH was the only venue that met with us virtually first, then opened up the grounds and necessary buildings for us to privately tour prior to booking. This sealed the deal for us as they went above and beyond during a time of stress. The staff at LLH were sooo helpful during the planning stages, answered emails promptly, and assured they would work with us even with the pandemic to provide a space for our dream wedding in July; and they did just that for us and our 200 guests. Angie was available about a month before our wedding to do a walk through with us and our wedding coordinator to discuss details and answer any questions. The week of our wedding Tiffany reached out as our day of contact. She was present during the entire event and helped set up décor, bartend, and was available to help direct vendors and answer questions. We could not have imagined getting married at any other venue. LLH provided such a beautiful and special place to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family after a long year of not being able to get together.

To say that our wedding at Little Log House Pioneer Village was perfect would be an understatement. Our contact - Angie- and the rest of her team were so pleasant to work with and made the entire planning process such a breeze. Little Log House Pioneer Village was amazing and I can't recommend this venue enough for future couples! Our original wedding date was June 20, 2020. From the very beginning they were super accommodating! They give you a list of wonderful vendors that they have worked with before to help you with your vendor search. Almost all of our vendors came off that list and we were not disappointed! They also let us use the grounds for our engagement pictures which was so fun to talk with our photographers and plan out ideas for pictures for our wedding day as well. With COVID we had to reschedule (a few times) and Angie in the team was so flexible and accommodating! The wedding planning process can be stressful, and add COVID on top, it got even more stressful, but Angie and everyone else helped ease our worries right away. They kept us in the loop about the restrictions they were under, worked to help make sure we could keep our vendors or help us find new ones as needed, and helped us reschedule our day. As we got closer, I was sending questions and updates almost daily and Angie was always quick to reply and help me figure things out! The day off went off perfectly! Our guests loved that they could tour the grounds. Many of them had not been to little log before and they were amazed at the campus! They have worked so hard to keep everything updated and modern and it looks amazing! We could not have asked for a better place to have our special day.

Throughout our wedding day and after we had so many guests compliment our wedding and the venue saying 'this is the best wedding venue we have ever seen'. Everything was very well maintained and you can tell they really do care about the details. There are so many photo opportunities at the venue!The staff was very flexible and easy to work with! We had many questions during the planning process and they always had quick answers and were able to provide advice and feedback from their past experiences. They offer a nice list of the catering vendors that have varying prices so having affordable food is an option. The bar list and prices are the best for any venue we looked at. These two things were huge bonus's for us!No hidden/surprise fees that you hear of at some other venues- which is a huge relief!All of the buildings have so much character and detail that we needed very little decor- such a money and time saver!They allowed us to use the grounds for our engagement pictures which was a huge plus for our photographer so she had ideas for the wedding day.Overall, I could not have imagined getting married anywhere but the LLH. Little Log House was absolutely perfect! If you are looking for a one stop shop for most of your wedding needs, this is the place. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, the grounds are stunning, and the location in Hastings was great for a wedding close to the cities. With all this in mind, we thought this venue would be way out of our budget but that wasn't the case. This is a very reasonably priced venue for the twin cities for what's all included. We had last minutes changes that they were extremely accommodating with and went over the top to help make our day perfect. We would highly recommend for anyone to consider as a venue option.

WE LOVE THIS VENUE…where do you even begin!? I stumbled upon this hidden gem doing a Google search for a rustic barn wedding…and I’m so glad I did! I knew as soon as we drove onto the property, I wanted to book this venue. This was the first and only wedding venue we toured! My husband was so wrong when he thought we were going to tour a farmer’s junkyard! This is so much more then just a wedding venue. However, this is a place you absolutely need to see, there is no way to describe this place and do it justice! Everything from the location, grounds and buildings are immaculate! You would not even need a ton of décor as the venue by itself is beautiful! You and your guest literally get the entire village for the day! Angie and Jessie have been an incredible help every step of the way (along with the entire LLHPV staff). They are so flexible and truly go above and beyond what you would expect. They were there to answer any question and put any concern you may have at ease! Planning a wedding during a pandemic added an extra level of wedding stress, but they were right there to help ease any concerns that I had. We had our wedding in their new stable, which is straight out of a magazine…and air conditioned! There are endless opportunities for the perfect photos at this venue, making it a photographer’s dream! We loved that everything from the rooms to get ready to the reception hall were at one location. All our guests and wedding party raved about how beautiful, fun, and unique this wedding venue is…even the teenage boys! This venue has so much to offer for guests of any age! I would 100% recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking to have their dream wedding. I hope to come back to LLHPV again in the future as a guest!

I am so happy I had my wedding here! This was the first and only venue we toured! If you are looking for something unique and a place your guests will be blown away by this is your place. It was awesome to have a cocktail hour and have so much for our guests to see while they waited for dinner, we even had guests come early because they were so intrigued. Guests continue to comment on the uniqueness of our day because of the venue. The staff at Little Log House is top notch. They help take much of the stress of planning away by communicating proactively, organizing all of your event details clearly and being responsive to any (and all!) questions. The venue itself offered the perfect accommodation for our 275 guest wedding and reception. We utilized Sylvia's Garden for the ceremony, which offered a beautiful backdrop of gardens and flowers. The Village Hall is already so beautifully decorated to where we did not need much in terms of floral or décor to complete our desired look. The table layout within the Village Hall offered enough space to navigate around tables, the bar and dance floor even with a large group. Little log house was absolutely perfect for our big day. We got married on 12/31/2019 and it was the best NYE party ever. They are all so hands on and there even a majority of the night goes smoothly for you. We ended up using the stable for the ceremony as well, and I put candles all the way down the aisle that were lit up. We got married by the fireplace under the chandelier and had a beautiful flower arrangement made for on top of the fireplace in there that we then transferred to behind us for the reception as we sat under the chandelier in there as well. So many special touches, and again they were so accommodating for us. I bought all my own linens, chargers, centerpieces, and signage for the venue so they let us come in two days prior to get it all set up even. You can take your engagement photos on site if you are getting married here! Also, wedding day photos are amazing!!! So many fun places to take photos on site. Truly looks like a little town. Being from Cottage Grove it was cool to see the drive-in sign there and they even put our names up on it with a congratulatory message! Everything was so so special and was amazing partying into the new year with our closest family and friends. We had about 200 people very comfortably in the stable and reception hall with no issues. They were flexible with booze, have many caterers to choose from, and no requirement on who to use otherwise (florist, dj, lighting, etc.) I wish we could relive the day again. Thanks so much to all the girls at LLH for our absolutely amazing day and making it so special for us.

Little log house was absolutely perfect for our big day. We got married on 12/31/2019 and it was the best NYE party ever. They are all so hands on and there even a majority of the night goes smoothly for you. We ended up using the stable for the ceremony as well, and I put candles all the way down the aisle that were lit up. My husband and I got married at Little Log House last June and it was an absolute dream! What drew me to this venue was how unique it was! We got compliments time after time throughout our wedding day about how cool the venue was. Our guests just loved having the ability to leave the reception hall, get some fresh air, and explore the grounds. It also presented our photographer with tons of photo opportunities. I can safely say that our wedding photos do not look like anyone else's, even if they got married at the same venue, because it is such a big property. Another thing that appealed to me when venue shopping was the flexibility this venue gave us. The caterers they allow you to choose from offer a variety of menu choices, if the bar does not regularly stock something you want they will work with you to get it, and decor is completely up to you to determine how you want it! When planning our big day I really wanted to get married outside but was worried about what we would do if it rained. Thankfully, LLH had the capability to have our ceremony outdoors but also had a wonderful back up plan indoors if it rained. Other venues simply did not have this option. Lastly, the staff there were so patient and kind. I don't know how many times I emailed Angie with questions leading up to my big day and she was always prompt to respond and ease any worry I had. 10/10 would recommend this venue to any of my girlfriends that are recently engaged and honestly, I don't think my mom will let my little sister get married anywhere else when that time comes! With our wedding anniversary in less than a week I can still safely say I made the best choice choosing LLH as our venue. Thanks again for making our big day one that we will never forget!

It was so beautiful and we got so many compliments on our Venue. Angie was so helpful and accommodating! The only thing that was a little bit of a shock was the cost by the end of our wedding. They were very upfront about all the small costs we just didn't take the time to add all them up. Still with it being more costly for us if we did it all over again I would have choose this Venue for our wedding again!

Little Log House was such an incredible, perfect venue for our big day! This is an affordable venue especially for what’s included in the price! We also had SOOOO many compliments on the venue, people on social media we didn’t even know were reaching our after seeing our photos. Everyone kept asking how we found such a beautiful and unique venue for our wedding. I can’t imagine having our special day anywhere else, Little Log House and the team were incredible to work with! Our photos turned out amazing because of how beautiful the entire grounds are, inside and outside. I hope to attend a wedding here in the future, we want any excuse to come back to this amazing place!

The charm, history, location and unique touches made our wedding day one that we will never forget. My husband and I looked at countless venues prior to the Little Log House and none of them even come to close to how amazing this venue is! Angie was so easy to communicate and work with and made sure that our wedding day was perfect. We did our engagement photos at this venue months before our wedding and it was an absolute blast exploring the property beforehand. The church onsite was the perfect location for our ceremony that fit all of our guests and looked beautiful in our photos. The newly renovated Village Hall is a perfect size for all guest counts and has a built in buffet area, bar and stage! The space is used so well and it photographs BEAUTIFULLY. I have been telling every bride-to-be about this venue and will continue to because of how amazing our experience was that we will never forget. Thank you Little Log House for the most amazing wedding at such a beautiful and unique venue that we will always hold close to our hearts.

Absolutely amazing venue! My sister and her husband got married here 7 years ago. We loved it so much that my husband and I chose the same venue. The new renovations are beautiful. It was the perfect venue for us! Great getting ready rooms for the bridal party, amazing grounds for pictures, and perfect to have everything in one location. We had very easy communication with the staff and they were very helpful on our rehearsal and wedding day as well.

Absolutely amazing venue! My sister and her husband got married here 7 years ago. We loved it so much that my husband and I chose the same venue. The new renovations are beautiful. It was the perfect venue for us! Great getting ready rooms for the bridal party, amazing grounds for pictures, and perfect to have everything in one location. We had very easy communication with the staff and they were very helpful on our rehearsal and wedding day as well.

We got married here on September 1st, 2018. Now over a month later and we are still receiving compliments about how beautiful, unique and picturesque our venue was! Not only was it absolutely breath taking from the garden to the reception hall but the staff truly made it such an enjoyable experience. From the beginning they went above and beyond to always make us feel at ease and accommodate all of our requests. The venue has so much to offer in just one location! We could not have picked a more perfect place to spend one the best days of our lives.

Not only was it absolutely breath taking from the garden to the reception hall but the staff truly made it such an enjoyable experience. When my husband and I first starting looking for venues we wanted something outdoors and unique, not your typical barn venue. Then we found the Little Log House and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. Angie and the rest of the staff at the LLHPV they were nothing but helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our vision came true on the day of the wedding. I was skeptical at first when I found out they were renovating because I was so in love with the reception hall but the renovations were amazing and improved an already perfect place. On the day of our event, the staff were accessible, easy to get a hold of, and helped make our day run so smooth. I would recommend the LLHPV to anyone looking to have a unique, outdoor wedding venue!!!

We were married here on 8/25/18 and it was the most perfect day we could have asked for. Angie and Jessie and the crew organized every little detail to ensure the day and night went smoothly. They were very attentive to emails and phone calls and responded immediately. We were able to come in the day before to set up all day and do our rehearsal. They checked in on us to make sure everything was in place. We got ready in the bridal suite which was so much fun. The church was such a gorgeous place to have our ceremony and it was so personal because its smaller, which allows you to also be able to see everything. Then we were able to relax in the bridal suite before the reception, just next to the church which is super convenient. The reception hall is absolutely amazing and very spacious. The sound is great which a lot of places don't have. It is such a gorgeous place for a reception, and was so stunning when fully decorated. We actually chose the venue before the renovations, but they only made it look better which we thought wasn't possible! The dance floor was also spacious. There were two people manning the bar so there weren't long lines, and the bathrooms were also big so there weren't lines there either (and very clean I might add). One of our elderly guests became sick as did one of my friends that just had a baby, and the staff cleaned up everything immediately so we didn't even know what happened! Also, there were soooo many unique places to take pictures we couldn't possibly capture all of the options! And it's so unique that I know no one will have pictures like ours. They are also very reasonably priced in my opinion for what you get. If we had to choose again, we would get married here a hundred times over! Thank you so much Little Log House Pioneer Village for the most perfect and amazing day!! Thanks Angie and Jessie and crew for everything!

Our wedding was last Saturday and the Little Log House Pioneer Village is truly a magical destination in beautiful Hastings, Minnesota. We chose to get married in the church, an intimate ceremony for our 150 guests. Jessie provided excellent guidance to our officiant and ushers during our rehearsal. On the wedding day, it was raining before our guests arrived, and our photographer took amazing shots of our first look inside the church. Angie was very accomodating, and our dog Monty was able to attend for wedding pictures, and walk down the aisle as our ring bearer. The rain cleared up and we have amazing photos of the bridesmaids in the colorful, perfectly kept gardens, and the groomsmen with the old police and train cars. Your guests will enjoy exploring the grounds and discovering lots of fun photo opportunities. The Village Hall renovations will take your breath away. The white walls and “LET’S DANCE” sign show the venue is meant for your wedding, and the antique detailing from the edison lights to the metal windmill compliment the theme throughout the village. A special shout out to the bartender Kelly, who lit our candles for us while the ceremony took place. We love the Little Log House Pioneer Village. Choose this destination for your wedding with the confidence that all of your guests will be delighted you gave them the opportunity to experience and explore a new place they will remember!

We had spent several months deciding what type of wedding to have (traditional, courthouse, destination) and had looked at several venues. As soon as we toured this venue, we knew it was the one and everything else fell into place! It's unique and beautiful, and the renovations to the Village Hall are fantastic! Angie was great to work with, very helpful and accommodating. We appreciate that there are several catering vendors to choose from as opposed to being locked into one. It made our day feel more personal. We can't say enough good things and had no complaints, our day was perfect at the Little Log House Pioneer Village.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice, and we got constant compliments from our guests about our venue. From the day we toured, I knew that I wanted to get married at Little Log House! The church and reception hall were perfect and all of our guests raved about how cool the venue was. Our guests loved walking the property and looking at all the buildings. Angie, Jessie and Tiffany were so amazing to work with! Super responsive to emails, always available to answer questions leading up to our wedding day and even met with us in person 3 weeks prior to finalize things and give us another chance to look at the venue. Angie, Jessie and Tiffany made our day better! They kept in contact with my parents the day of so they weren't bugging me (the bride). Due to a thunderstorm, we had no power in the bridal suite and they let us get ready in the reception hall, worked with the power company to get it fixed within 2 hours and even though it wasn't their fault, they gave us champagne for the toast to make up for the inconvenience. They went above and beyond and truly made our day! You need to get married here! You will not regret choosing Little Log House, they are amazing!!

There are multiple options for where to hold the ceremony which was a plus so that we had a couple of backup plans in case it rained. There are so many unique locations around the venue to get amazing pictures. My husband and I got married in September 2016 and were SO blown away by Little Log. Afterwards, we kept saying how lucky we were to have found the perfect wedding ceremony and reception venue. The ceremony in the garden was a stunning backdrop and the village hall for the reception was so beautiful on its own that it didn't require much decoration - a time and money saver! We worked with Angie, who was so professional and took the time to ensure that everything was going to go well. She also was incredibly flexible with us making the day truly ours. We had numerous guests compliment us on our venue and almost everyone expressed how much fun they had wandering around the huge space and checking everything out. It's beautiful during the day with the rustic feel and floral elements, but also spectacular at night with all of the lights lit up. I would 100% recommend this venue!

This place is absolutely perfect. We were married there this past Saturday and I have nothing but good things to say. They were very accommodating, very easy to communicate with and the price couldn't be beat. Our guests loved the quirkyness of it and we had a blast running around taking photos. The church was perfect for our ceremony and the reception hall met all of our needs very well. They let you choose from their list of caterers which is nice. We chose Divine Swine and their were fantastic. You have to buy alcohol from the venue but even with hosting beer and wine it was very reasonable. Our guests raved about this place and we couldn't be happier. Amazing!!

We got married at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in June 2016. Wow! What a great experience, Angie was a point of contact and she was fabulous. They were very accommodating to needs and super fast at responding to me emails. We had our ceremony in the church on site and reception at the Village Hall on site. It is so beautiful here and I would definitely recommend considering it as a place for your wedding.

Not only the garden, where we took a bulk of our pictures, but the reception hall is gorgeous. The rich wood color and simplistic beauty of the hall gave it a warm, intimate feeling (even though we only had 120 people and the space is able to handle a much larger party). They have specific vendors that you need to use, but that wasn't an issue for us because the vendors they had listed were excellent! Overall, we had a wonderful day in a beautiful location. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Angie Jordaan (Coordinator) As a Hastings native, I was raised just one mile from the Little Log House Pioneer Village and have been involved in coordinating over 1,000 weddings onsite. I am a very detail-oriented person and zealous about seeing all the details come together. Beyond my excitement for weddings; my strong attention to detail, organization skills and time management will be a perfect match to make every bride’s dream a reality! When I’m not planning weddings, I love to spend time with my husband, friends, and family, trying new restaurants, hiking, going for motorcycle rides, and traveling!
