John and Julie were great to work with! They were responsive and kind and their team did a wonderful job making our day great! The venue is gorgeous and maintained well. We had a full outdoor ceremony and reception in May 2023. They helped blow leaves and twigs away the morning of the wedding since it rained the night before. The bridal lodge was cozy and had a great view of the gazebo where our ceremony was held. The groom's cabin was sort of hidden away behind the trees which was perfect to retreat to on the wedding night while our families stayed in the lodge. Having everything in one place (rehearsal location, getting ready location, ceremony, reception, and place to sleep) was a game changer. I noticed things went so smoothly with cutting out that travel time. We were ahead of schedule on our day because of this! With this venue away from busy roads and passing cars, it seemed like our own little world and the guests loved that aspect of that as well. Would recommend this venue to anyone!

The best choice we made for our wedding day (besides choosing to marry each other) was choosing to book Little Piney. John and Julie's knowledge of the industry and passion for their couples ensured that we had an incredible weekend. Little Piney is beautiful and offers so much beyond just a location to get married. Being able to stay on the property allowed us to get settled before the big day, and allowed us to relax about details like \"Will I forget to bring something with me to the venue?\"...because we could just run back to our lodges and get it! If you have any hesitation about picking Little Piney, know that doing so will ensure a truly wonderful experience.

The owners John and Julie treated us like family. We appreciated all of their tips and thoughtfulness that helped execute a beautiful wedding despite heavy rain on our big day! They are the nicest people. All their staff were super helpful too. The venue is gorgeous. Just got our pictures back: a lot of people asked if our photographer photoshopped the skyline---THEY DID NOT! It is naturally that beautiful of a spot in the Hermann countryside. Having everything in one spot helped make our wedding day logistics efficient and uncomplicated. We appreciated the golf carts that transported our elderly relatives and us to and from various spots on the property. We look forward to renting a cabin there on our one year anniversary!

Little Piney Lodge was a dream come true! John and Julie were absolutely amazing with everything and so incredibly helpful! It was the perfect venue and everyone talked about how beautiful it was all night long! While we were there for our final walk through, my fiance asked them if they knew any places that would be playing the football games Sunday morning (our wedding started at 4) and both John and Julie pulled out their phones and started calling places to find out. Its THAT kind of above and beyond stuff that they did throughout the entire process! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Little Piney Lodge was a dream come true! John and Julie were absolutely amazing with everything and so incredibly helpful! It was the perfect venue and everyone talked about how beautiful it was all night long! Places that were very pushy or made it abundantly clear we needed to get in and out on the day of our wedding because they were flipping it for the next couple. We we’re getting ready to decide on just eloping until we met John and Julie. I’ve watched so many friends become so overwhelmed with the wedding planning process that they end up saying things like “I can’t wait for it to be over.” I never once felt that way. Everything was very straightforward and they were always available to answer questions. With Little Piney you can pick your own vendors, borrow from the decoration closet, and get to spend genuine time with your loved ones over the course of the weekend since they have accommodation on site. Me and my bridesmaids literally got to roll out of bed on the big day and have breakfast while hair and makeup started without getting shuffled all around town. The number one feedback we’ve gotten post wedding is about how wonderful/beautiful/fun our venue was. Loved the entire process and wouldn’t change a single thing!

Beautiful venue and we had the most wonderful experience here. We had to plan our wedding from a few states away, and we booked this place sight-unseen after doing a virtual meeting with Julie and John. They're wonderfully accommodating, responsive, and so caring. The venue has spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, indoor reception, and outdoor reception without guests having to travel. They also have \"magic closet\" with a ton of decor options; we did all of our centerpieces from there and saved a lot of money on florals while still looking gorgeous and professional. Best of all, you get the venue from Friday night through Sunday morning, and there are two separate cabins with three bedrooms each for the bridal party. They even include bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights! They are also extremely attentive; it began to threaten rain about 30 minutes into my reception, and they automatically moved everything under the pavilion and setup the DJ underneath a tent without our having to ask. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience, and recommend them enthusiastically!

How do you write a weekend of feelings in a short review . John and Julie are devoted to your wedding vision . They have a venue that offers many settings and a variety of ways to entertain and enjoy your family and friends . Little Piney Lodge is an exceptional place . It is beautiful no matter the time of year ( because of Covid we had almost two years of planning time ) so we visited several times to really think through our daughter’s day . John and Julie are a true team , well coordinated, experienced and willing to guide you with options . With their help and experience we were able to have the elegantly rustic wedding that fit our daughter and son in law . We enjoyed them so much , they responded promptly to questions, reviewed needs and even made sure we had answers to questions we didn’t know to ask . The only detail we missed was we didn’t get the cases of bottled water out of the car . I didn’t notice during our cocktail /lawn game time that water was missing, but they did . John and Julie had water stations in several areas up and running without ever being noticed . They are hands on and efficient all while making you feel like your wedding is their privilege and the goal is to execute it without a hitch. Couldn’t have chosen any better !

We are still so blown away with Little Piney! We knew from the second we toured this venue we were going to get married there. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue! John and Julie were literally the best in every way possible. They were so helpful and kind during the entire planning process! Their goal is to truly make sure you are relaxed as a couple on wedding weekend and they don’t want you to worry or be stressed about anything! We loved being able to have the entire weekend there. We did our rehearsal and dinner there Friday night and was able to stay all the way until Sunday morning. The house was so clean and the property is so well maintained. We received so many compliments on this venue! John and Julie were around the entire weekend and came to check on us multiple times and was just a quick text or call away when they weren’t around. We loved every moment of our wedding weekend and a huge part of that was because of Little Piney and John and Julie. I seriously can’t recommend enough!!

Our wedding was basically a destination (my family from California, his from North Dakota/Minnesota). Everyone remarked on how beautiful and stunning the venue and town of Hermann was! They kept asking how we found this amazing secret place. We are so happy we chose little piney and they truly helped make our wedding the best weekend of our lives!

We got married on 05/14/2022 at Little Piney Lodge, it was so beautiful. We booked them in March of 2021 which was super easy, John and Julie are so responsive, helpful, and kind! Cannot recommend this venue enough, having access to 3 locations for ceremony, dinner, reception along with the bridal and grooms house! We were able to keep our dogs with us which was VERY important and Little Piney went above and beyond on the day of. They were accessible for our other vendors and just cannot recommend them enough!

We got married on 05/14/2022 at Little Piney Lodge, it was so beautiful. We booked them in March of 2021 which was super easy, John and Julie are so responsive, helpful, and kind! Cannot recommend this venue enough, having access to 3 locations for ceremony, dinner, reception along with the bridal and grooms house! We were able to keep our dogs with us which was VERY important and Little Piney went above and beyond on the day of. They were accessible for our other vendors and just cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough positive things about Little Piney, our wedding venue was everything I ever wanted for a dreamy, whimsical, outdoor wedding. So many guests told us they had never been to such a unique venue and complimented us on how well-planned our day was. John and Julie are a dream. They helped everything run so smoothly from making sure a poker surprise for the groomsmen was set up, to loaning us some butter, driving us around the property on golf-carts, locating my extra pair of shoes, and bringing us appetizers from the cocktail hour when we were hungry after all the pictures. The best part was that we were able to rent the venue for Friday-Sunday and the wedding party could stay on-site with us, making it an enjoyable weekend with friends and family instead of simply being a one-day event. They really emphasize how low-stress they want everything to be. We ended up booking them again after our 2021 wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic because we couldn't let go of such a beautiful venue. They have 3 locations for your wedding (a gazebo, a pavilion, and a barn), and are very accommodating in case the weather changes. They allow you to bring in your own caterer/bartender and bring your own alcohol, which helped us keep those costs down. They are the perfect venue for a diy couple. Book them now, you won't regret it.

I cannot say enough positive things about Little Piney, our wedding venue was everything I ever wanted for a dreamy, whimsical, outdoor wedding. So many guests told us they had never been to such a unique venue and complimented us on how well-planned our day was. John and Julie are a dream. They helped everything run so smoothly from making sure a poker surprise for the groomsmen was set up, to loaning us some butter, driving us around the property on golf-carts, locating my extra pair of shoes, and bringing us appetizers from the cocktail hour when we were hungry after all the pictures. The best part was that we were able to rent the venue for Friday-Sunday and the wedding party could stay on-site with us, making it an enjoyable weekend with friends and family instead of simply being a one-day event. My dream wedding came true at Little Piney! I cannot say enough about how wonderful John and Julie are to work with. It all started with an email I wrote them with my vision for the perfect wedding:I am a bride in search of an affordable venue that will be a beautiful backdrop for an Oct 31st evening wedding and reception.Let me set the mood for you below so you get an idea of what we are thinking/hoping for. This will be a classy but “Gothic” style and a formal but untraditional event. I would love to find a venue who are able to accommodate us.The Ceremony:Wearing my handmade deep black satin ball gown dress I am hoping for a torchlit/candlelit isle to walk down outdoors (but realize that indoors might need to be an option in case of bad weather) at dusk under the open sky. My bridesmaids will proceed me in their deep red flowing chiffon gowns holding glowing lanterns in lieu of flowers. At the end of the “isle” would be a lovely decorated archway or gazebo which will frame our vows to each other. Tiny votive lights will twinkle in glass holders hanging from the surrounding trees to add a touch of light for the guests. (Decor can be brought my me if unavailable at the venue)The Reception:Preferably under a covered pavilion outside (but again, weather permitting) black gothic candlesticks adorn the head table with dark red roses and black crystal beading. Tables are lit with candelabra centerpieces and/or stunning black chandeliers hang from the celling offering a warm glow to the dark night. Being served is an array of heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks from an open bar. A red velvet cake with jet black icing is waiting for the bride and groom on a black draped cake table.This bride and groom would prefer no dance floor because neither care to dance. The ability to play background music as they mingle with guests is all that is needed. From the beautiful surroundings including a lakeside gazebo where we were married, the two lovely cabins where the groomsmen and Bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding and where we stayed on the night of the wedding, to the gorgeous open beamed hall with thousands of tiny lights which glittered on the ceiling. Even our dogs were part of the celebration and did not want to leave on Sunday when we checked out. Whatever you can dream, John and Julie will turn that dream into a reality. These amazing people went above and beyond for us, our bridal party, and our guests. We also hired a few of their preferred vendors who were also incredible and made our day unforgettable. We found Little Piney online and immediately fell in love, sent an email, and scheduled a tour for that week. When we took our tour, I was in tears because it was everything I didn’t know I wanted. We signed on the dotted line…before we were even engaged! About a month after we booked LP, we went back for another tour with some of our family and I was surprised when my then boyfriend got down on one knee and asked me to marry him in the very place we were going to have our wedding. (We do things a little differently) My mind was blown and I had no idea how he had set this up…low and behold, John and Julie worked their magic and that was just the start of our amazing experience. John and Julie are not just the owners of this gorgeous venue, they are wedding coordinators, planners, decorators, and friends. For over a year I emailed and called them at all hours and they never once complained, told me to keep the questions coming, and gave the absolute best advice. We had LP from Friday morning until Sunday morning. When we arrived Friday morning, John was out doing things to prepare for our big day and Julie was right there asking me what I needed and helping me with everything I could possibly ask for. I was in constant contact with them all weekend and they gave us their undivided attention. While we were at our rehearsal dinner, they started a fire for the guys and made sure everything we had set-up looked perfect. On the day of, Julie checked in with us regularly, drove us around for pictures, and gave me her coat and gloves when she saw I was cold. After the wedding, we were bombarded with compliments on the wedding and how beautiful LP was. Little Piney Lodge is a gorgeous venue, has everything you are looking for and more, and an amazing family to come with it. If you’re thinking about Little Piney, don’t hesitate because you’ll miss out on having one of the most important days of your life made perfect by John and Julie.

The pavilion at night was magical, and the fest haus chandeliers and twinkly lights were worth swooning over. When I got stressed, they remained calm and gave tons of planning insight. They have a “magic closet” with decor left over from previous weddings that made decor transport easier. We didn’t hire a wedding coordinator, but Julie saw to it that I was hidden before the ceremony, that our timeline was maintained, that I had a drink in my hand, and that I took in the beauty of the day. Beautiful venue! My wife and I got married at Little Piney last weekend and we had the time of our lives (as did all of our guests). Julie and John (the co-owners) were so kind and amenable and made things flow easily on our special day. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Little Piney was the absolute best venue we could have imagined choosing as the setting for our special day. The owners of this venue are incredible people that have created an oasis for a smooth-flowing event. Little Piney is truly a breathtaking backdrop for all of our photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I knew the moment I came to see this venue that it was ‘the one’ and it far exceeded our expectations. The value provided in this venue is unmatched in price and quality. To be able to hold our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all in the same was extremely unique and made things so seamless. My husband and I would recommend this venue over and over and would give 10 stars if we could!

First and foremost, they are the absolute best people you could ever dream of having to work with for your wedding. We felt so blessed to have been fortunate enough to work with them. The venue is absolutely stunning. Every detail is tended to throughout the entire weekend and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. They were always so accommodating and flexible, letting us come out several times before our big day to dream and envision exactly how we wanted our day to go. There are not enough wonderful things to say about Little Piney Lodge. It really is a little oasis nestled away from everything. When my fiancée and I were staring our search for venues, we looked at this one in January and it was even snowing that day. When we pulled up we looked at each other and kind of had an idea that this was it. Then we got the full tour and completely fell in love with the venue. It had everything we wanted, mainly an outdoor space but also an indoor space if needed for weather. You could see the beauty of everything even with no leaves on the trees and snow on the ground.We could not have picked a better spot. We constantly hear how much everyone loved the venue and how beautiful it was. People were telling us, out of all the weddings they have gone to it was in the top 3 of amazing places they had seen! My plan was to have everything outside and to dance under the moonlight, but it ended up being a little warmer than I hoped so I decided to move the reception inside for the comfort of our guests. It was still just a beautiful inside as it would have been outside and I loved every moment of my wedding. John and Julie were such a great help and so friendly and down to earth. They were there to help with anything and so accommodating and willing to help with our ideas we had to make the day special and unique to us. What's even better is that they have the lodge on premise to stay in. It was so nice to stay there the night of our wedding and continue the fun with our wedding party. My husband and I can not rave enough about this place! If we could do it all over again, we would and would choose Little Piney again!

We cannot say enough about how amazing this venue was for our day. From the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, lodging, ceremony and reception everything was perfect from beginning to end. It helped that we had the most perfect weather. And that’s just the venue. John and Julie go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. They are there every step of the way and really know how to bring the vision to life. I have recommended this venue to everyone I know and all of my guests are still raving about it!

Little Piney Lodge = heaven on earth. John and Julie's home is a little slice of paradise tucked in Hermann, MO that you and your guests will never forget. Rather than just a 4 hour event rental, couples are welcomed onto their property for a full weekend of relaxation and celebration, hiking and fishing and swimming and dancing and toasting and making memories with those closest to you. The Lodge and the smaller cabin (where the wedding party stays) are both decorated so nicely and are the epitome of cozy, with gorgeous views of surrounding nature. Music coming from speakers in the trees welcomes you the moment you drive onto their property and their kind and helpful staff including JJ themselves make you feel at home and like you're the only couple on their minds all weekend. They work hard and you can tell they have fun while doing it. They're some of the nicest people I have ever met. Bottom line: a wedding at Little Piney is not \"just a wedding\"...it's an incredible experience unlike anything else.

Not only is Little Piney a gorgeous venue tucked away in the country of Missouri, but the owners (John and Julie) are the best! They are so accommodating not only to the bride and groom but also to vendors - they make sure that you have everything you need and are at the ready at all times. It's such a beautiful wedding venue with SO many great spots for images. Since I'm a wedding photographer, this is SO important to me! I am NEVER disappointed when shooting a wedding at their venue.

Not only is Little Piney a gorgeous venue tucked away in the country of Missouri, but the owners (John and Julie) are the best! They are so accommodating not only to the bride and groom but also to vendors - they make sure that you have everything you need and are at the ready at all times. The hospitality, kindness, generosity, and support John and Julie have is remarkable! The venue was beautiful and sold itself alone, but having such a wonderful team to help you along the way beyond meets all expectations! Leading up to the wedding day, I was the typical bride - worried something would go wrong, stressed the weather would not hold out, and thinking it was all going to be unorganized and chaotic. However, the moment I got to the property on Friday afternoon, I immediately was overwhelmed with such calmness. It was the strangest feeling (especially because I am so Type A when it comes to planning parties/events), but vibe at Little Piney quickly becomes contagious. The beautiful property along side John and Julie's calming personalities makes it so easy to know right away that everything is going to be okay and whatever happens they got it. Julie told my husband and I so many times that she will take care of anything we need and her and John fell nothing short of that. The weather held out last minute for us and they were quick to more the cocktail to the barn and the reception to the pavilion without hesitation or issues. I have no idea how they do it all! So many of our family and friends told us during the wedding and weeks after that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and I know that none of that would have been possible without John and Julie. I honestly have no idea if anything went wrong the day of because they took care of all the logistics and issues that probably did come up. They let my husband and I focus only on enjoying our day together with the people we love most. We want to relive this day over and over again because it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much John and Julie for making the day our dream.

Little Piney, put plain and simple, is home. John and Julie moved heaven and earth to give my husband and I the wedding of our dreams, and a dream it was. After a long day of venue shopping we finally made it to Little Piney and we knew immediately it was the perfect place for us to be married. Every detail about the wedding followed suit and we had the most amazing “camp” themed lakeside soiree. Four months later our guests are still commenting on the venue and how it was the most relaxing and welcoming wedding they have ever attended. John and Julie make Little Piney—they are relaxed, easy going and willing to do whatever you need. Poor John helped my mom hang glitter covered stars and signs in the woods for over an hour, he helped the farm house table delivery men set everything up according to my floorplans and ran around doing this and that for two full days! Julie took over all the little details that I couldn’t get to on the wedding day, made sure we always had good music playing as we set up and was the most gracious hostess you could imagine. Having the wedding party on site for the whole weekend was amazing and I can’t imagine doing it any other way. We had our rehearsal dinner in the barn, the ceremony by the lake and the reception in the upper pavilion with dancing under the stars. There are no words to describe the magic of this place—do not hesitate to book as they fill up so fast! I wish I could give them a million stars.

Could not say enough good things about this John, Julie & this amazing venue. We had a long engagement (2 years) but John & Julie never hesitated to answer any questions we had even as far as a year and a half out from our big day. Always a pleasure to speak with & always got back to us within 24 hours, usually less than 12. Welcomed us for visits to plan & dream for our big day & from the moment we stepped onto their property for our wedding weekend, we felt like family. They stepped up & helped us with ANYTHING we needed...a lot of the time they were in the background doing things to help we didn't even realize they were doing. Just wonderful people & an amazing venue with so many perks other places do NOT provide. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you so much John & Julie! You made our weekend truly a dream come true.

We had a long engagement (2 years) but John & Julie never hesitated to answer any questions we had even as far as a year and a half out from our big day. Always a pleasure to speak with & always got back to us within 24 hours, usually less than 12. Welcomed us for visits to plan & dream for our big day & from the moment we stepped onto their property for our wedding weekend, we felt like family. They stepped up & helped us with ANYTHING we needed...a lot of the time they were in the background doing things to help we didn't even realize they were doing. Just wonderful people & an amazing venue with so many perks other places do NOT provide. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you so much John & Julie! You made our weekend truly a dream come true.

We had the most AMAZING experience and couldn't have been more happy with the service we received from John and Julie! They are exceedingly accodmating and I would highly recommend them to any looking for a one of a kind venue! We got so much positive feedback from ur guests about the venue as well! The weather this past weekend was not for the faint hearted! It rained literally up until the hour before our wedding ceremony was to begin . John and Julie didn't give up on our dream to have the ceremony outside and reception in the pavilion. They could've told us tough luck but they didn't. They busted butt to give us the wedding of our dreams and we couldn't be more grateful!

Ok I don't even know where to start! I'm so happy i picked Little Piney to be my venue, it was only the second one I looked at but I knew right away it was the perfect place It was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever been and having it for the whole weekend felt like a little destination wedding it was so fun to just relax and hangout with our friends for the weekend and not have to go from place to place . All of my guest couldn't say enough how beautiful and perfect Little Piney was. The Owners John and Julie are the nicest people and I'm am so thankful for all their help with everything, they where very quick to respond to my texts and emails and when i needed to go and see the place ( and i did a lot) they always had time to let me in. I am still in shock with how perfect the night went since i am not a very organized person and I didn't have a wedding planner but John and Julie made sure everything came together! We have so many great things to say about Little Piney, and John and Julie, the owners! From the moment we inquired about the venue, to booking, to answering every email and phone question, to being accommodating and allowing us to switch our date when it came available, right down to rehearsal, ceremony, reception and take down Sunday morning, they were right there so assist in any way possible and to make sure there was not a worry in the world! My husband and I have said over and over again how if we were to go back, we would choose Little Piney every time; we would have not changed a thing!! John and Julie make it so easy and comforting. They are so easy going; the wedding party stayed up Friday after rehearsal on the patio, with John assisting with the golf cart, music, and transferring fire pits, while Julie made sure all day Saturday our snacks were restocked, took it upon herself to greet our guests with iced water, and allowed for our dogs inside the lodge after a little hiccup! I can only imagine the other behind the scene gestures they completed! Our guests had a blast and had so many great things to say! Having the whole weekend made for a peaceful little getaway, even for a local boy and girl who were both raised right down the road! We are forever grateful for our special day at Little Piney and would recommend the venue to anyone!!

Julie and John Moss, along with their kids, are amazing and this venue is breathtaking. My wedding was on April 1st and they both did everything they possibly could to make sure the whole weekend was as relaxing as possible and exactly how I wanted it. They are very nice, down to earth and understanding people. John even drove my husband and I around the property while our photographer finished our photo shoot after dinner. I can't sing their praises enough. I wished I had more than just the weekend on the property because it's beautiful and there is so much to see in so little time. I would recommend this venue to anyone, especially those who love outdoor weddings. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spot. I had my wedding on March 25th 2017. Little Piney was easily the most affordable venue for the things provided. The lodging is beautiful and comfortable. They even made accomendations for the rain we had on our wedding day. The owners bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. They make it clear that they want you to enjoy your wedding as much as they enjoy being able to help people. John and Julie are probably the greatest people I've ever met. Not only are they friendly but they are caring. We had a medium sized wedding and they will cart people around the property pretty much all day and empty out trash faster than people can fill the trash cans. They also do a great job of being there for you but also stay out of the way and let the wedding happen naturally. I've never seen two people work as hard as them. Their land is beautiful and they know the ins and outs of where makes great wedding photos. They have a gazebo, pavillion and barn. Take your pick of where you want the ceremony or reception. We had the property from 12 on friday until 11 on sunday which for the price we paid is INSANE. We found many beautiful venues for nearly twice the price for only 6 hours but none were as beautiful as Little Piney. There was little NO pressure from John and Julie. They have a few rules to follow but its all just to preserve the property. They provide as much support as they can and even set up for you if needed. They have many amneties to make life easier in the planning as well. My dj couldnt make it to the wedding and we still were able to hook up our phones to their system and were our own DJs. It really was just a pleasant experience. I could write a thousand pages on how much I loved having my wedding at little piney but if I were to sum it up in a few words. I'd say perfect. Everyone at the wedding loved the venue. They told us we had the most relaxed wedding they have even been too. Thank you so much John and Julie. I'm glad my new wife Lindsay and me share the same anniversary as you guys. Congrats and I hope your business continues to bloom like the love you giys share with each other and your beautiful property. Charge more! People will pay it for such a beautiful property and for the amount of time you give I'm surprised it wasn't nearly 20,000$ to rent your property. Once again. I could write a novel on how much I loved Little Piney. I would get married here again in a heartbeat. It was absolutely stunning, my guests couldn’t stop raving about the beautiful scenery and venue, and John and Julie were so kind and accommodating. They helped wherever they could, and my guests loved their hospitality. I loved the fact that we could stay from Friday at 11 AM to Sunday until 11 AM. It really took the stress out of running around frantically for one day, trying to set everything up. We had our set-up, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party all at Little Piney, and because they have so many different areas for you to customize your wedding and where you want to have it, for most of those events we were in a different part of the venue each time. It was simply amazing. My day was stress free and is now one of the best memories of my life, which is something I don’t think a lot of brides can say because the day usually is so stressful! I would recommend 100 times over.

Having our special day at Little Piney Lodge was everything we ever dreamed for and more! Little Piney Lodge is AMAZING! There are no words for how beautiful it is. I did NOT want to leave. I heard that multiple times through out the day from our guests as well. John and Julie go above and beyond to ensure that everything is the way the Bride and Groom envisions there wedding day and to keep all the little stress away. There were no details unattended to. My daughter's wedding and reception was perfect! People are still talking about it, and I will never forget how special it was and how much fun everyone had. This wedding and celebration would have never been this wonderful without this location and the support of John and Julie. A couple of the guests are planning on returning their for their wedding. It is truly one of a kind. Thank you John and Julie for Little Piney Lodge and all that you do! My daughter and son in law had the wedding of their dreams.

Little Piney Lodge is AMAZING! There are no words for how beautiful it is. I did NOT want to leave. I heard that multiple times through out the day from our guests as well. John and Julie go above and beyond to ensure that everything is the way the Bride and Groom envisions there wedding day and to keep all the little stress away. There were no details unattended to. We absolutely loved our wedding at Little Piney Lodge! We planned our wedding in 3.5 weeks and it wouldn't have been possible without the seamless process John and Julie (the owners - who are awesome) have created for their brides and grooms. The venue is so on point for outdoor weddings as it offers equally amazing solutions for both sunny and rainy days. We, like most, were planning for a sunny day but when we learned it was 100% going to rain John and Julie helped us come up with Plan B - and it was even better than Plan A! We continue to receive compliments from our friends and family about how amazing the wedding was. I recommend Littly Piney to all brides and grooms - you won't regret it!

John and Julie are amazing, and so helpful with anything we needed at all, from the time we booked the venue months before the wedding until the minute we checked out. This venue was amazing. The views were absolutely beautiful, the grounds were perfect, and the owners, John and Julie, could not have been more helpful and pleasant to work with. Any glitch that popped up, Julie was there to help resolve, and they offered many helpful hints and decorations to make the day just perfect! The groomsmen and bridesmaids were able to stay in the lodge and cabin located on the venue grounds, which meant no one had to worry about them driving after the celebration ended. I would definitely recommend Little Piney for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants amazing scenery on their special day!

We got married here last weekend (05-07-16) and everything was absolutely amazing! This is seriously a DREAM venue! Our wedding party was able to stay on the property with us in the log cabin nestled in the woods or in the main lodge! John and Julie are genuinely invested in making your stay as relaxing as possible! They were so accommodating with every little detail! We held our rehearsal dinner in the Festhov Barn, our ceremony at the gazebo on the lake and our reception in the open-air pavilion! We spent the mornings canoeing across the lake, the afternoons swimming and fishing and the evenings BBQing! All while taking in the breathtaking views of this property! All 200 guests were so impressed and are still buzzing about the \"best wedding venue they have ever been to.\" All of this at such a reasonable price for the ENTIRE weekend! There are no venues that even compare to Little Piney in the greater Midwest area! (I looked!) Any other place will charge you 10 times more and give you half the time and amenities! I could go on forever about the amazing landscape for pictures, the cute bridge through the woods between the cabin and lodge (perfect for a first look!), the sounds of the waterfall as you walk down the aisle, the dance floor under the stars, the spacious lodge for gathering with family and getting ready for your big moment, and the wonderful Moss family that makes you feel at home! We will be forever grateful that John and Julie made our WILDEST DREAMS come true! You should get married here! You will not regret it! Amazing weekend! John and Julie helped with EVERYTHING which made the entire weekend perfect. With living 3 hours away from Little Piney I had a lot of questions and John and Julie were very quick to respond to help ensure our wedding was perfect. When the DJ and Caterer showed up I didn't have to worry about telling them where to set up because it was already taken care of. The venue is absolutely beautiful and it was nice having the bridesmaids and groomsmen on the property. Last minute we decided to have reception inside and John and Julie were quick to make the change for us. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding!!

I couldn't have imagined a better place for our wedding. From the moment we toured the site, we knew we found our venue. Little Piney is beautiful, peaceful, and serene, and it has great Plan B options for rain or extreme weather. \r\rOn our wedding weekend, for just a nominal extra fee we arrived at Little Piney on Thursday evening. We were able to set up for Saturday's reception on both Thursday and Friday. This gave us plenty of time on Saturday to relax and enjoy the day. John and Julie were there to help with anything we needed throughout the entire weekend and were an incredibly nice and hospitable family. They thought of ways to help us before those needs even occurred to us. \r\rEveryone who attended the wedding was amazed with the venue and had a great time. Our family and friends, and especially my husband and I, highly recommend Little Piney. We might even go back to stay the weekend in one of their cabins. The place is a gem.

I don't even know where to start! My former classmate was married here and after seeing her pictures I was sold. I knew this was the place for us; I wanted somewhere where the ceremony and reception were both held. What we ended up getting was more than we could have ever expected. John and Julie are astonishing; as I am typing this up I get teary eyed remembering all of the gracious things they did for not only myself, but for everyone. The month of my wedding was apparently hurricane season and it rained for two weeks leading up to our day, our wedding day the sun was shining and it was absolutely beautiful! The whole morning John was out side working on the pathway; blowing off water so I would not get wet walking down. We lost my pot for our unity tree and Julie went and made us a burlap bow to cover up the \"ugly plastic pot.\" It was unexpected and our of Julie's job description but it was those little things that eased our day. We also had our shuttle service just leave us, so John is helping the dads call around to find another shuttle service to help us out. With that disaster going on that led us to our ceremony being an HOUR late; yes I know ridiculous. With that being said I was upset, this meant I would have a very short ceremony for all of these people who came from all over for us...well that was not the case. I don't even think my dad finished asking them if our ceremony could be extended an hour before they said yes, of course. It wasn't even a question for them. They saved our day in so many ways; we got to spend our wedding day with the best people we could have imagined. John and Julie went out of their way to help us, not being they had to but they wanted to. They are extraordinary people and I would recommend their venue to anybody. We were truly blessed finding this venue and having such accommodating people.

There are two lodges each with three bedrooms that our wedding party and family stayed in (included in the cost of booking). Being able to wake up and be where you are supposed to be really streamlined our last-minute preparations. \r\rJohn and Julie were fantastic hosts, and incredibly accommodating. They had all tables set up for the number of guests we expected, hooked up the sound system for our use, decorated the wedding gazebo and benches for guests, and as our guests arrived and left, they used on-site golf carts to transport guests from and to the parking lot. Also, they recommended the caterer and ice supplier we used, and provided information about nearby hotels for our out-of-town guests.

We found Little Piney Lodge on the Hermann Wedding Trail and it was the most perfect venue for our wedding. They have indoor and outdoor options, which came in handy because we ended up moving our reception indoors, due to the cold, and I'm so thrilled we did! The Festiv Hof barn is just beautiful. The staff at Little Piney are super responsive and are on site all weekend, to help wherever they can. The on site lodging is spectacular and we couldn't be more excited with how the wedding turned out.
