Beautiful Forest Weddings with Monterey Bay Views
The Living Well Event Center is a wedding and event venue located in Los Gatos, CA, just a short drive away from the heart of San Jose. Situated in a magical, wooded forest, the 4+ acre property offers couples a breathtaking setting where they can share milestone moments with loved ones. Just 30 minutes away from San Jose Airport, the venue is ideal for local and out-of-town couples alike. Living Well Event Center features a beautiful, 2,000-square-foot deck where unforgettable ceremonies and receptions can be held. In this open-air setting, couples can celebrate and create lifelong memories with up to 100 guests. Situated in the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains, the deck allows those celebrating to take in panoramic vista views that stretch to Monterrey Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The venue's team is proud to offer a rejuvenating, picturesque setting for their clients' special occasions. Alternatively, an open-air courtyard is also available for ceremonies and receptions. Throughout the festivities, couples can make the most of the property's natural beauty for timeless photo opportunities. Compelling backdrops include but aren't limited to the venue's robust orchard and tranquil waterfall. Living Well Event Center is happy to provide a variety of services and amenities to fit the unique needs of each couple. Prior to heartfelt ceremonies, to-be-weds and their loved ones can prepare inside in the dressing room. Thanks to the venue's food preparation area, preferred catering teams can seamlessly prepare and serve tantalizing dishes at receptions. From engagement parties and showers to weddings and elopements, the venue is happy to accommodate a range of special celebrations.

Greg & Patty were truly the most stellar hosts we could have possibly had for our wedding in September. They were responsive, communicative, and flexible and even helped set up and tear down the extensive design elements we added. I was also extremely impressed at their sustainable ethos; they protect and care for the land and its inhabitants. I would recommend their space to anyone...and I have! Everyone asks about my photos, and I tell them immediately to go book Greg & Patty's place!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I feel extremely blessed to have found Greg and Patty. From the moment we arrived, Greg and Patty were exceptional. We visited the venue 5 times and not once did we feel as if we were inconveniencing them. They both were willing to answer all of our questions and even suggested great ideas that we implemented on our wedding day. Greg and Patty made us feel comfortable and cared for. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful they were with us. The venue is breathtaking! We were completely in love with the venue since the first day we visited. My husband and I decided to book it right away, as we knew we had found a gem. Also, Greg and Patty gave us the freedom to select our own vendors!!! They both went above and beyond during every interaction we had with them, Lastly, they even drove our guest in a golf cart from the parking lot to the venue. If you are looking for gorgeous views and for venue owners that would not treat you like another transaction, then the living well is the place for you.

We had our wedding here on 9/9/23 and it was absolutely amazing! This was the first venue we toured and we ended up cancelling our other tours and booking right away. The views are unbelievable and the ceremony space with the arch that overlooks the Monterey Bay is just incredible. The deck where we had the reception has the same great views and is draped with string lights that gave a magical ambiance after sunset. Greg and Patti were super helpful and patient with my many questions and a few pre-wedding visits. They also offer affordable rentals for tables, chairs, and linens. This was great because I did not have to iron my own linens or hire someone to deliver tables, which can be a significant added cost to something like a park venue. In addition, you have total freedom to choose your own caterer, bartender, etc. (no contracted required caterer) which means you can choose vendors that work with your style and budget. The venue is directly off Hwy 17; I don't like mountain driving so we hired a shuttle so that our guests wouldn't have to drive (and so that we could have an open bar with no worries). We got ready for the day at a nearby hotel in Los Gatos, and then they have a cute little waiting room with couches where I put on my dress and hid from everyone as they arrived. One of my favorite moments was peeking out from the curtains in this space and watching our guests sign the guestbook and build Lego minifigures (our favors) before the ceremony started.Highlights:- Amazing views and ambiance- Affordable- Flexible with vendor selection- Built-in arch ready for you to decorate- Affordable and easy table, chair, and tablecloth rentals- Sparkler exit friendly!- Greg and Patti are great hostsThings to consider:- The location is slightly tricky to drive to if you're an anxious driver; it would probably be difficult to get an Uber to/from (I recommended our guests not rely on Uber and take our shuttle instead)- Bathroom situation for guests with mobility issues (wheelchair, etc) is not ideal due to a large step into the main bathroom, but they have a workaroundOverall, we had a great time, and our guests have not stopped sharing how much they loved the venue. I would highly recommend Living Well for your wedding!

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding at Living well event Center (in late September 2022). Greg and Patty are so warm, kind and patient. We visited the location multiple times to iron out the setup details and they were very patient with us. At the day of the wedding, we got so much support from them in every thing, big or small. Patty was also our officiator and conducted a very beautiful and emotional ceremony. Also, the views at the location are breathtaking. Our guests couldn't get enough of it. Everyone got so many pics with the gorgeous backdrop. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do the wedding at a beautiful hill top place.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Living Well Event Center is and how amazing the people who own it are. The venue has absolutely stunning views, a creek, a fire pit, and plenty of space. Greg and Patty were super responsive, knowledgeble, remembered things we had not even though of yet, and catered to every one of our requests. I am so grateful to them that I was able to spend my wedding day thinking about my wedding party and my bride instead of worrying about logistics. Thank you so much Living Well for making possible what was easily the best day of my life.

Our wedding was everything we could have hoped for at the Living Well Event Center. The views are incredible and all the whimsical details were appreciated by our guests!! If you love nature, this is a great place for your special day :) This was a once in a lifetime experience! It’s like a forest getaway. The views are better in person and the venue is large! There is a beautiful fruit orchard and a waterfall too!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get married, with helpful hosts, and a laid back vibe… I’m here to tell you that your search is over. We had our wedding here in April of 2022 and it exceeded all of my expectations. The hosts, Patty and Greg, were accommodating from the moment we met them. I felt like they made a huge effort to make planning our day as easy as possible. Their property is absolutely stunning. I really loved the options that it offered for photos. We were able to have a variety of background for our wedding pictures: green forest scenes, a patio lit up with bistro lights, and sweeping scenes of the ocean. My wedding was a magical day and Patty and Greg helped make that happen. Working with them felt so comfortable and familial. The vibe is great and I cannot recommend it enough

Patty and Greg were the most gracious and helpful hosts for our wedding Venue.. Their venue is beyond beautiful. We visited a couple times before the wedding and they were so welcoming each time and had the table/seating setup before we arrived on the day of the wedding. Whatever we asked for, they provided us with. Would highly recommend hosting your events . The best decision we made for our wedding. Absolutely gorgeous views and people. Thank you Patty and Greg.

Patty and Greg were the most gracious and helpful hosts for our wedding Venue.. Their venue is beyond beautiful. We visited a couple times before the wedding and they were so welcoming each time and had the table/seating setup before we arrived on the day of the wedding.
