Loch Aerie Mansion LLC is a wedding venue located in Malvern, PA. Though only a 30-minute drive outside of Philadelphia, the property offers a blissful retreat away from the buzz of the city. Here, couples can create lifelong memories with loved ones in a historical yet timeless setting. Loch Aerie Mansion was initially built in 1865. Today, the venue retains its authentic, classic elegance and features beautiful modern touches and amenities. When celebrating here, couples will have full use of the original mansion as well as the newly constructed Grand Ballroom. Before ceremonies, to-be-weds can prepare in separate relaxing get-ready rooms with loved ones. Small ceremonies and receptions can be held in the Parlor. The interior offers a sophisticated ambience thanks to its arched windows and high ceilings. Part of the original mansion, the Billard and Dining Rooms are other eye-catching options for couples hosting smaller events. Those celebrating with up to 325 guests can do so in the Grand Ballroom. The team at Loch Aerie made our wedding day absolutely perfect. There was not a single hiccup on our wedding day. Elizabeth from VBR along with Violet from Serock catering made the day go so smoothly. Dana, Elizabeth, and Violet were so responsive throughout the entire planning process. The mansion is so gorgeous and we received some many compliments about the reception space and how unique it was! I couldn't recommend them enough!

The team at Loch Aerie made our wedding day absolutely perfect. There was not a single hiccup on our wedding day. We had our wedding reception at Loch Aerie on 11/4/2023. From the moment we visited the venue in 2021, we knew this was a special place. The team made planning a wedding here a seamless process. As a local, it was wonderful seeing the love that Dana and the team put into restoring the mansion. The renovations are absolutely stunning and only enhance the space while maintaining the integrity of the original style. If you want to have a warm and elegant space for your reception, you truly could not do better than Loch Aerie Mansion!

We had our wedding reception at Loch Aerie on 11/4/2023. From the moment we visited the venue in 2021, we knew this was a special place. The team made planning a wedding here a seamless process. As a local, it was wonderful seeing the love that Dana and the team put into restoring the mansion. The renovations are absolutely stunning and only enhance the space while maintaining the integrity of the original style. The team at Loch Aerie Mansion truly exceeded our expectations! My husband and I got married on September 30th, 2023. We fell in love with the venue itself two years ago - the basement of the venue was not even complete! Needless to say, Dana and AJ assured us everything would be finished in time for our wedding. Not only was it completed, the renovations in the basement as well as the exterior blew us away!! The mansion itself is gorgeous and has tremendous historical value. There are several beautiful and spacious areas to have your ceremony, which was important to us given the unpredictability of weather. What stood out to us most about Loch Aerie is their team. AJ, the groundskeeper is one of the nicest people we’ve ever met! He made sure our day ran so smoothly and was always there to step in no matter what was needed throughout set up and the day of. He even helped out with our 1 year old ring bearer who needed to be carried to the aisle. John Serock and his team were also phenomenal to work with. We had the pleasure of working with Violet to coordinate the meals, drinks, as well as set-up/seating chart. She was in constant communication throughout the planning process and was also extremely helpful on the day of - she even helped hold up the train of my dress before walking down the aisle. Serock’s team is experienced and went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had full drinks and appetizers in between professional photos and truly tended to our every need. This was such an important detail that you may not even consider because as the bride and groom you will be very busy talking to guests and you don’t always get the opportunity to grab something to eat or another drink during the cocktail hour. Not to mention the food was INCREDIBLE! We received so many compliments on all of the meals throughout the evening. Lastly, we’d like to comment on our wonderful decorator and florist, Elizabeth McGarrie, who owns Vintage Betty. Throughout the past two years we had several meetings, and on the day of she truly delivered my vision. As a type-A bride it was very hard to trust that all the little details would be taken care of. Not only did Elizabeth put together our dream wedding, she went ABOVE and BEYOND to take care of us. For example, she embellished additional parts of the mansion with left over flowers as a very generous surprise to us, she added greenery and live flowers to our cake to ensure it fit the grandeur/elegance we were looking for, and in addition to all this, she created table setting cards with our guests’ names the day before our wedding free of charge because I accidentally forgot to make them! Elizabeth is so talented, and I just can’t say enough good things about her work. One of our favorite parts of the wedding was the cigar bar she designed for us. It was the perfect mix of elegance and masculinity, which really appealed to my husband and I. Overall, Loch Aerie Mansion is an incredible venue with a fabulous team that will ensure you have the most memorable, stress-free day. I highly recommend having your wedding here!!

We hosted our daughter's wedding on Saturday, October 21, 2023 and could not be happier with how everything went from start to finish (which was a 2 year process with the engagement)Dana Porier was a pleasure to deal with (along with Serock Catering) Dana responded quickly with any questions we had along the way. The event space is stunning (everyone commented all day)Don't hesitate to consider having any event there as the space is beautiful and with Serock, your food will also be delicious!! They are the dynamic duo in the wedding business!!!!

I would give Loch Aerie 6 stars if I could! The whole team made planning our wedding out of state a breeze, and everything came together seamlessly. Many guests told us after that it was the best food they've had at a wedding (John Serock Catering). I would recommend Loch Aerie a million times over for their uniqueness, cohesive staff, attention to detail, personal touches, and so much more!

I would give Loch Aerie 6 stars if I could! The whole team made planning our wedding out of state a breeze, and everything came together seamlessly. Many guests told us after that it was the best food they've had at a wedding (John Serock Catering). Loch Aerie was the perfect venue for our wedding. You can tell that Dana takes a lot of pride in her venue, and the caretaker A.J. was absolutely amazing to work with in ironing out the details of our ceremony and reception. My husband and I knew as soon as we toured the mansion that it was perfect for our wedding, but honestly the day of was far and away above my expectations. The Bridal Suite is just beautiful, and the groomsmen had a great time playing shuffleboard and drinking whiskey in the wine cellar before the ceremony.

This is the perfect venue for a wedding! It is an 1865 mansion with so much charm and history. As soon as my fiancé and I walked into it, we knew we wanted to get married there. We even changed the time of year we wanted to get married since they were booked already for that season. They have beautiful spaces for an outside or inside wedding. We wanted to get married outside but it rained the morning of our wedding and our indoor back up plan was simply gorgeous and I never felt like I missed out on the wedding of my dreams just because it was inside. The bridal suite and the groomsmen suite are both stunning and great places for pictures. The best part of Loch Aerie is their partnership with Serock catering. Their service is top notch and their food is delicious and ABUNDANT! We were worried about o9ur guests being hungry and the complete opposite was the reality. We had guests come up to us after the cocktail hour and asked if there was actually going to be a dinner because they were so full already.AJ, the caretaker, is also another amazing benefit of this venue. He is so kind and works with you and your family and makes sure everyone is comfortable and happy.There are 2 hotels directly across the street from Loch Aerie which makes transportation so much easier as well as planning the after party. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Our wedding was perfect in every way and we never once questioned our decision to have it at Loch Aerie.

The absolute best place to have a wedding!!! We just got married 4/1 and everything was perfect. Between Loch Aerie employees and Serock Catering, everyone was extremely professional and SO kind. We had a wedding of about 230 and everyone fit comfortably with a dance floor. The rain held off and cocktail hour was outside and it was beautiful! The food was to die for- I keep getting so many compliments on the food and service! I am for sure going to find a reason to come back!

The absolute best place to have a wedding!!! We just got married 4/1 and everything was perfect. Between Loch Aerie employees and Serock Catering, everyone was extremely professional and SO kind. We had a wedding of about 230 and everyone fit comfortably with a dance floor. The rain held off and cocktail hour was outside and it was beautiful! The food was to die for- I keep getting so many compliments on the food and service! I am for sure going to find a reason to come back!

Loch Aerie is literally a dream come true. It's not common to find a historic mansion that can house a large wedding comfortably inside for a winter wedding. Loch Aerie doesn't stop there, it has all of the bells and whistles that you usually have to compromise on at other venues (unique groom and bride suites, separate entrances for bride etc). The owners are passionate about this place and it shows. The mansion itself and the way the wedding was run was top notch, not one corner was cut. Truly an honor to have had our day at this special place.

Loch Aerie is literally a dream come true. It's not common to find a historic mansion that can house a large wedding comfortably inside for a winter wedding. Loch Aerie doesn't stop there, it has all of the bells and whistles that you usually have to compromise on at other venues (unique groom and bride suites, separate entrances for bride etc). The owners are passionate about this place and it shows. The mansion itself and the way the wedding was run was top notch, not one corner was cut. If you're looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue, then you found it in Loch Aerie! To say they have weddings down to a science is an understatement. As someone who was totally new to the wedding planning world, Dana made the process so easy. Loch Aerie hass built strategic partnerships with local vendors and accommodations which made our life SOOO much easier. John Serock Catering is their exclusive caterer, and this is a partnership made in heaven :) We LOVED working with Violet (the John Serock event specialist who currently works exclusively with Loch Aerie). She answered so many of our questions, and we were shocked with how much John Serock's catering team does the day of the wedding. They are more than just caterers, they do it all and think of everything. My sister is autistic and needs a pureed diet, and they made all separate dishes for her and kept checking in with my family to see if they needed anything. So wonderful! Loch Aerie is a beautiful place with such history sprinkled throughout. Our guests have given us so many compliments about the location, and it is so conveniently located across from a hotel (Great Valley Sheraton) which partners with them frequently! I HIGHLY recommending using them. They even provide free shuttle rides to guests at the scheduled times you give them! A few of my highlights from Loch Aerie: being able to set up some of the decor the day before the wedding (keep in mind, I gave boxes to them in advance with clear instructions, and they executed those things wonderfully), having time to get ready on site and take pictures prior to the ceremony the morning of the wedding (GAME CHANGER), having a private server checking in on the wedding party/bride and groom during cocktail hour, being able to get pictures up in the tower, being able to have a sparkler sendoff, and having them pack up my car without my family having to lift a finger :) Thank you, Loch Aerie for a beautiful day!

I couldn't recommend Loch Aerie Mansion any more- they are AMAZING! All of our guests were absolutely blown away by the beautiful venue, much like we were when we first visited. It is a great balance of historic charm and updated beauty. There is so much space inside and outside this venue so guests have so much room to walk around and you can move between spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The bridal suite and groom's room were TOP NOTCH! Loch Aerie is the most beautiful backdrop for all of the photos you dream of from your wedding. I can't say enough good things about Loch Aerie Mansion and I would choose them over and over again!

It is a great balance of historic charm and updated beauty. The bridal suite and groom's room were TOP NOTCH! Loch Aerie is the most beautiful backdrop for all of the photos you dream of from your wedding. I can't say enough good things about Loch Aerie Mansion and I would choose them over and over again!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Loch Aerie Mansion is a beautiful space for a wedding - it's a warm, welcoming venue, a piece of history, and it sparkles, inside and out. You have to take a tour and see the details and feel the space - don't miss the bridal suite and cellar! The Loch Aerie team exceeded our expectations every step of way - I would recommend Loch Aerie to everyone!

I'd driven past this mansion for years and wondered what it was like inside. I was so pleased when I found out it was being renovated and being turned into an event venue. As it happened, my daughter was getting married and we were looking for a place. The moment we saw it, we knew it was the one. Absolutely fantastic. It has been beautifully re-done, restored to the original look, and Dana and her husband were a joy to work with. They were very accommodating; and the caterer, John Seroch, was wonderful. We also opted to work with Elizabeth for the decorating (an optional service). The multiple rooms give guests the opportunity to mill around easily, the ballroom is brand new and huge. Outside has been landscaped. It is a showpiece inside and out, and my daughter and her husband were thrilled. I can't say enough about the place and the people. Beautifully romantic. On the logistic side,having hotels right across the street was very convenient as was the overall location. When I say it was magical, I'm not exaggerating.

Dana received a Bachelor of Science degree In Allied Health from The University of Connecticut in 1984. A Physical Therapist specializing in Adhesion Release.Steven: A graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management 1985, University of Central Texas Master of Science degree in Business 1989.
