Locke Falls Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in Wonalancet, New Hampshire that captures the true essence of New England. Wonalancet translates to "pleasant breathing" and perfectly encapsulates this idyllic and pastoral setting. The original dwelling was built in 1844 with hand hewed beams and served as a working farm for more than a century. After undergoing a full renovation, the estate now welcomes couples and their guests to celebrate their momentous occasion in tranquil seclusion. The lush grounds at Locke Falls Farm provide flexible locations for each phase of your wedding. Three ceremony sites take advantage of the diversity of the landscape, which includes verdant lawns, shaded woods, and leafy grottos. The estate abounds with perennial gardens that will light up with vibrant colors and set a beautiful backdrop for photographs with loved ones. Receptions and cocktail hours can be set up in the barn or the newly constructed pavilion. The barn features classic sliding doors that open to reveal a spacious interior with sparkling chandeliers and draping string lights. This gabled building also has a large front porch with a swing and overnight accommodations for your entire wedding party. The moment my wife and I stepped foot on the property of Locke Falls Farm, we knew immediately it was the place we wanted to get married. We envisioned a rustic but very elegant wedding and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for that! The house on property is beautiful inside and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking especially in the fall! We used the lower barn for our rehearsal dinner and for our cocktail hour and the pavilion for our reception. It is also the most beautiful venue for pictures. This place has everything you need and more including a rain backup plan! Debra was amazing to work with and really made sure that all of our dreams came true that day. We kept sharing our vision and she made it happen! You will be making the greatest decision if you choose Locke Falls Farm as your wedding venue!

As soon as we stepped foot on the property, we knew Locke Falls Farm was the venue of our dreams. It is a picturesque landscape and the perfect setting for a wedding. Having our friends and family stay onsite with us made the weekend feel intimate and joyous. Debra has thought of everything to make your wedding day smooth and beautiful. She was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. She very clearly knows what she’s doing and took care of everything so we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day.

Locke Falls Farm was the first, and only venue that we viewed in person. It is a beautiful, special spot. We chose to stay at the farm from Thursday through Sunday with our families and wedding party, and it was a truly wonderful weekend. We had a blast hiking, swimming, doing a group yoga class out on the lawn, and just enjoying the beautiful property. Debra and her team are spectacular and made everything run smoothly for our rehearsal dinner and for our wedding day. I can't thank her and her team enough for their assistance in making our wedding perfect!

We feel so lucky to have found Locke Falls Farm. This was the 3rd venue we looked at, and immediately knew we wanted to get married here. Debra was so kind and understanding through two covid postponements. Once we were finally able to celebrate, we were able to sleep our whole wedding party and their significant others at the venue, which was perfect for a long weekend getaway. I heard so many compliments throughout the weekend about how beautiful the venue was, between the grounds, barn, pavilion, and house. On the day of the wedding, Debra and her team worked so well behind the scenes, they were not intrusive at all, and helped with the flow of the day. I appreciate everything they did to clean-up throughout the evening, as it made packing everything up the next day easy. I couldn't recommend Locke Falls Farm enough!

I can not even begin to express what a wonderful venue this is. My husband and I got married at Locke Falls Farm in August. Our day was absolutely amazing! Not only is this a gorgeous venue, but Debra is so awesome to work with. We originally had a September 2020 date, and Debra made switching our date easy and stress free. Deb and her team work so hard to make sure your special day runs smoothly. She even took my husband and I out on the golf cart to get some fun photos. We truly had a fairy tale wedding thanks to Locke Falls Farm. I am even getting a bit teary as I write this!! Locke Falls will always hold a special place in my heart!

Locke Falls was the perfect venue! We loved that we were able to stay for the long weekend and could accommodate our family and wedding party on-site. Debra was also amazing to work with. If any problems arose, she got everything figured out without us even knowing about them. Our guests were so impressed with the venue, and we received so many compliments! This venue was magical, from the second we toured, to the day of our wedding, we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place. Deb, was incredibly responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout our wedding journey. We would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for that farm style romantic setting. Our bridal party, family and friends could not say enough great things about how beautiful and perfect Locke Falls Farm was. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout, and especially the weekend of our wedding. We are so thankful to have found a place to get married that was not only beautiful but had amazing owners. A very big thank you to Deb, and her team for making our wedding day perfect!

We fell in love with Locke Falls Farm the instant we got out of our car. The ride there was so tranquil and beautiful, but was nothing compared to the gorgeous property Debra and Chris have created in Locke Falls. We booked the venue 2 years before our date, and we watched the property evolve into every bride's dream. Every single detail - even the little ones - show their passion to truly create a magical, special place for each and every couple. Debra was so helpful during every visit, and patient with my barrage of emails throughout the planning process. When an unexpected pandemic threatened to take over our day, Debra remained in constant contact with me, helping me work through every government mandate and tweak all the details so we could still have the day we dreamed of. And there isn't ENOUGH that can be said about the day-of services provided by Debra, Chris, and their assistant. From working with us the day before to make sure everyone knew where to go and where to stand, to bringing in an extra reception table at the last minute - I knew we were in good hands and could truly enjoy our day. I couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Locke Falls Farm!

My daughter Olivia and her husband Liam got married September 14, 2019 at this little slice of heaven called Locke Falls Farm. I am not sure where to even start about our magical experience. The owner, Debra was just as amazing as the property. We arrived on Thursday morning, both families and we all stayed in the main house which sleeps 18. It was great to spend this time all together to relax, enjoy and take in the beauty of the farm. Our first night we all went into the barn and enjoyed a few games of corn hole, a few drinks and we even danced a little. It was great to have the groomsmen stay over the barn where there are enough beds and rooms to sleep 16. On Friday the girls had a yoga session behind the barn among the beautiful flowers, fields and soft lush grass. We had the rehearsal dinner in the barn on Friday night which was amazing. On the morning of the wedding it had rained pretty hard and at the last minute the bride decided to hold the wedding in the barn. Debra and her crew set up the barn for the wedding which was so beautiful. The benches, lanterns, oriental rug and rose pedals were beautiful. It was such an intimate setting and the love in the barn was overwhelming. Most importantly, my daughter and her husband loved it. It had stopped misting out by the time the ceremony was over, so all the guests were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The reception in the new pavilion was beautiful. The mason jar chandeliers, the tables with all the flowers and candles were amazing. We danced and celebrated all night and were sad when it was over. As I stated, Debra was amazing and enjoys what she does which clearly shows from the minute you pull up to the house. I cannot say enough about Locke Falls Farm. It truly is a little slice of heaven and you will forget everything going on in the outside world when you arrive. I highly recommend Locke Falls Farm!! Your guests will talk about this for years.

There really aren't enough words to express our gratitude to Debra. From the very beginning, she was everything we ever dreamed of in our venue coordinator. She was attentive, extremely prompt with responses, the sweetest, kindest soul and extremely professional. Without hesitation, she answered every little question we had throughout the entire year-long process of planning.My husband and I chose the Thursday through Sunday extended weekend at the farm to try and revel in it as long as possible. No time will ever be enough to spend on that property. Debra has done such an exquisite job of catering to every inch of the farm. Between the gardens, the pasture, the gorgeous barn and pavilion, the list goes on and on. All of our guests kept asking \"How in the world did you find this place?!\" Locke Falls Farm was the first place we looked at and the second we pulled onto the farm we knew. As we were leaving that day, we called the other venues to cancel our tour appointments because we knew deep in our hearts there was nothing that was more special than Debra and her farm.The morning of the wedding it was raining which meant we weren't able to have our ceremony in the garden as planned. However, Debra came up with so many beautiful ways to make the inside of the barn as much of a dream as I ever imagined. She collected bits and pieces of her farm and incorporated them inside the barn. Lanterns, flowers, and a gorgeous oriental rug were placed where the ceremony would be. Flower petals grazed the aisle that we were walking down. It was an absolute fairy tale and it's all thanks to Debra and her down to earth positivity making us feel like no matter what happened, our day was going to be the best day of our lives.Leaving the farm on Sunday was heartbreaking; we never wanted it to end. How do you leave a place that made your life better than before you arrived? Being up there felt like we were on a little slice of heaven, far away from everything else and none of us wanted to leave. We hope some day that we can go back and visit and relive the everlasting memories we made at the farm. Debra, THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts for creating the wedding of our dreams. Without you, none of it would've been possible.

Locke Falls Farm - catering perspective Between the breathtaking grounds, the pristine barn, the accommodations for you and your family, and the AMAZING venue owner Debra... This venue is hands down our favorite place to be every season. Every time we go up there to cater a wedding, Debra has done something else to the property to make it even more spectacular that the last time we were there. You can add your own touches of flair, or leave it jus as it is, and either way you have a stunning backdrop to start the beginning of your married lives together surrounded by family and friends. Debra is the most hands-on venue owner we have ever met; she truly and deeply cares for each of her couples, and does whatever she needs to in order to make sure that their vision comes to life on the big day. Looking for the perfect barn wedding in the Lakes Region of NH? Look no further than Locke Falls Farm!

There truly isn't enough I could say to express how grateful we are that we found Locke Falls Farm and got to work with Debra to create our perfect wedding weekend. We stayed from Thurs - Sun to have more time with our out of town guests and to prepare for the big day. Our bridal party and dates stayed with us in the main house while our groomsmen and dates stayed in the lofts above the barn, which were newly built after we booked. It was the perfect environment to have an intimate weekend with all of our favorite people staying right on the property. Even with 22+ guests, everyone was very comfortable with plenty of towels, extra bathrooms and both indoor and outdoor showers, and drawers full of extra linens and blankets.The farm is naturally beautiful: a gorgeous mountain view, fresh flowers and herbs covering the entire property, the beautiful old barn, the picturesque patio, a hammock strung between trees, lovely farm tables...it really looks like something out of a fairytale. All of our guests were raving all night and screaming, \"HOW DID YOU FIND THIS PLACE?!\" The farm aside, Debra is genuinely the kindest and most attentive professional I've ever worked with (in any industry). She was always responsive to all of our questions, and really went above and beyond to help make our entire weekend perfect. And I DO mean that. She didn't just host us--she helped us order ice, offered to pick up the coffee for our morning after breakfast, gave us vendor recommendations, handled communication with vendors, provided us with software to map out our seating arrangements, helped with cleanup, led our rehearsal, picked up a pizza order we placed for late night food at the end of the wedding, etc. She completely tended to our every need throughout the entire process and the whole weekend.We know that an experience like this isn't usual, and we felt the love and care that she puts into the property so deeply. Locke Falls Farm is the first venue we looked at and we are both so thankful that we went with our gut and booked it. We were so sad to leave after the cars were packed and we hope that someday we can come back to stay again. If you are looking for a unique and gorgeous place to get married, don't bother looking anywhere else.

We fell in love with this venue last October and just recently got married here on July 13th. The venue was everything we wanted, the gardens were stunning, and Debra was simply the BEST to work with! All of our guests were in awe at how beautiful everything was. We stayed from Thursday - Sunday to make a full weekend out of it and we wouldn't change a thing. Debra is so passionate about the venue and continues to make gorgeous upgrades. I highly recommend Locke Falls Farm!! You and your guests will NOT be disappointed.

My husband and I got married here in July and couldn't have imagined a better spot. We had the entire property (house sleeping 18, barn and groomsmen bunk sleeping 16, pavilion and grounds) to ourselves from Thursday to Sunday. We went up on Thursday to put everything together and then we're able to relax in the National Park swimming hole in the river and Lake Chocorua on Friday while we waited for the rest of the bridal parties to arrive. The place is honestly an oasis, you have all of the amenities you would need but the gardens are absolutely beautiful and attract all of the butterflies and hummingbirds. Debra also coordinated bridal yoga for us for Friday morning, listening to the birds while we were doing yoga on the grounds was such a memorable experience. Debra is fabulous and go out of her way to make sure it's a day you will remember. highly highly recommend.

My husband and I got married at Locke Falls Farm on September 29th, 2018 and it couldn't have been a more perfect experience. Debra was so amazing to work with, so quick to respond to all of our questions leading up to the wedding and made sure everything was perfect for our special day. Our wedding party was able to stay at the venue for the weekend with us and we had such a great time. All of us got ready at the house and the new bridal suite is beautiful and perfect for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready while staying separate from the rest of the house. The house was clean and spacious, the barn and pavilion were perfect for our reception and we had our ceremony outside, over looking the beautiful property. It was picture perfect and we would recommend it to everyone. We absolutely loved it!

Locke Falls Farm was the PERFECT venue for our wedding day. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, the house is large enough to sleep 14-16 people, but also feels homey and cozy, the recent renovations to the house and property are gorgeous, and the actual wedding facilities are stunning. My husband and I were looking for a venue that would allow us to embrace the natural beauty of fall, to spend the weekend with our family and friends, and would provide us ample space to cook the rehearsal dinner and bake the pies that would be the wedding desserts. Locke Falls delivered on all fronts! Our wedding party, family, guests, and vendors could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue. Deb was also incredible throughout the entire planning process. She responded to all emails promptly, was available to answer any and all questions, was willing to help us manage the constant stream of questions/opinions coming from our families, provided recommendations for vendors, welcomed us to visit the property whenever we were in town (we were planning the wedding from NC), and greatly eased our minds and lowered our stress levels as the wedding day approached. Deb was willing to go above and beyond her responsibilities to help us in any way she could - and we greatly appreciated all of her help! She was a warm and kind presence throughout the entire process - we couldn't have asked for more!Our wedding weekend ended up being everything we wanted - we left on Sunday filled with gratitude, and with an overwhelming feeling of love. We cannot recommend Locke Falls Farm enough.

We are still on a high from our celebration a couple weeks ago! The ceremony and reception was absolutely incredible. Locke Falls Farm is breathtaking. We wanted to feel like we were in our element (woods surrounded by nature), but have it accessible for our family to watch our ceremony. The white mountains are close to our heart and this was a great spot without having our guests drive too far north. All of our guests mentioned how amazing the venue was. The wooden pavilion was great for dinner and dancing to the live band! In the barn we were able to personalize our decorations, set up appetizers, desserts, and the bar! I was able to create so many personalized crafts and signs to spread out around the venue to make it truly ours.One of our top reasons for choosing this venue was having a house on site to have our bridal party and close family stay. Other guests utilized local Air B &B's. All who stayed in the house felt like home. So much love was shared!Deb was wonderful to work with and was extremely helpful every step of the way. We are so thankful of her providing such a beautiful place for us to eat, drink, and celebrate our love with our family and friends! If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue that you can truly make your own for a weekend Locke Falls Farm is the spot! Best day ever!

We absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Locke Falls Farm! We wanted something laid back and unique, and a wedding location that we could have for the whole weekend in order so spend as much time as possible with our guests. LFF was everything we could have hoped for - beautiful, convenient and allowed us to bring in vendors we were excited about for catering, DJ, etc. The bridal party stayed in the house all weekend, which was convenient and so much fun. We had our welcome party, post-wedding brunch and cocktail hour on the patio and in the barn, dinner and after party in the pavilion and dancing in the barn. It was perfect for our large wedding of 200+ - everyone felt a part of things but could also mingle all over the gorgeous property. Having Debra as our day-of coordinator was incredible, and she was available to us in the months and days leading up to the wedding and went so far above and beyond all weekend long. We had a horrible experience with one vendor and several things went wrong on the day of the wedding, but Debra handled all of it and we didn't have to worry about a thing. So many of our guests have said it was one of the best wedding venues they've ever been to and have already recommended LFF to others planning weddings. We're hoping to be back for a family holiday soon!!!

Locke Falls Farm was the perfect venue! We loved being able to stay on site and have our wedding in the yard. Locke Falls Farm isn't a wedding factory; Deb is great to work with and allows couples lots of flexibility and options to personalize their wedding! The rolling hills and view make for great scenery. The location is close enough to town to be accessible but not too close to be mainstream. Wish we could celebrate here all over again!

We had an incredible wedding weekend from start to finish at Locke Falls Farm. The farm conveys a perfect sense of rustic elegance and we couldn’t have picked a better place to wed. Debbie, the owner, is truly passionate about making your experience one to remember. She is incredibly kind, thorough, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to your questions and requests via email or phone. When planning a wedding, the last thing you want is to be hunting down any of your vendors and this is never the case with Debbie and Locke Falls Farm. It brought us comfort and assurance knowing that we were always being taken care of. She is full of great suggestions for just about every detail that goes into planning your wedding as well. There are a ton of local vendors who are just as reliable and passionate as she is, and she’s more than happy to refer you to them. Once we met with Debbie and saw her beautiful property, it became abundantly clear that this is where we would become husband and wife. The location of the farm is very accessible and has more than enough parking for all of your guests. The grounds are immaculately kept and the panoramic views of the White Mountains “wowed” everyone in attendance. The rolling fields overlooking the horizon made for an incredible backdrop for many of our pictures. The barn was a picture-perfect location for our cocktail party and makes for a beautiful and popular spot for ceremonies and receptions as well. The property is incredibly versatile, and can easily be used it to its entirety. We chose to have our ceremony on the grass field that runs parallel to the back of the home, and our reception in the upper field under a tent lined with chandeliers and market lights. It was truly magical. We got married on July 1st of 2017. If you are local to the area you may remember the literal monsoon that took place in the early evening of that faithful day. Despite these conditions, Debbie and her team handled it with such grace and professionalism that truly made the wedding instead of hindering the magic of the day. The home that is on the property was occupied by ourselves and our party for the entire weekend. There were around twenty of us that comfortably slept there, which gave our weekend the feeling of a mini-vacation destination celebration that lasted much longer than the wedding night. We enjoyed our time spent together with our closest family and friends and let the whole experience soak in before, during, and after the wedding. Some of our favorite pictures are the ones of us getting ready with our wedding party. The ladies were upstairs and the men were downstairs, and both had ample space to prepare for the big day. This setup was also very convenient for our photographer and videographer. Everything went so smoothly and brought smiles to our faces in every moment. Debra was a wonderful host for us and our wedding at Locke Falls Farm. She was attentive to answering our questions and reassuring through the process. Her property is beautiful and the views of the white mountains in New Hampshire cannot be paralleled. Our wedding was beautiful and intimate at 80 guests and this property was a perfect selection for our location. By the end of the weekend, our wedding party was talking about celebrating our first anniversary by vacationing at Locke Falls Farm! Hopefully we will be returning soon to enjoy more of the farm and more of New Hampshire. Thank you again to Debra and her staff. Sarah and Devon

Locke Falls Farm was the perfect place for our July wedding! We decided to rent the house for almost a whole week before the wedding which was a wonderful way to host friends and family throughout the week and thoroughly enjoy the place - and there is so much to enjoy - the gardens (and wonderful gardener who tends them), the trails in the back, the billiard room and SO much more . By the end of the week, Locke Falls Farm felt like home to everyone and nobody wanted to leave!Our wedding was very much a DIY kind of event - we even catered it ourselves with lots of help from friends and family. The house and barn were perfectly set up for cooking up dinner for 130 guests with plenty of oven, freezer and fridge space. Having the place for several days before the wedding allowed us plenty of time to balance work with relaxing and enjoying such a beautiful setting. Our event included a day of wedding coordinator, Sheena Harte of Showcase Events, who was THE BEST and we can't imagine what we would have done without her. She is very familiar with the farm and knows exactly how to make your vision for your wedding happen while always respecting your budget.Bottom line: Locke Falls Farm is wonderful. It's the kind of venue where you can have ample time to feel a sense of connection with the place which made our experience so so special. There are other farm venues out there that provide so little that you have to bring in everything and others that are so structured that you end up with a cookie cutter wedding. Debra (the owner) provides just enough to ensure that you don't have to reinvent the venue for your wedding and, if you want them, has the best recommendations ready to make your wedding exactly how you want it to be.Thanks for being the perfect venue!- Zach and Caeleigh
