Conor O'Brien(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-12-2021 I run a professional music business and had one of my ensembles at Loews hotel for a wedding on December 23rd. Terrie was our contact and she was magnificent. She took time to talk me through the run of the day, both on the phone earlier in the week, and in person on the day. We walked through the different spaces where we would be performing, and followed through with cuing for the ceremony and letting us know when to move from cocktail hour to dinner. As a vendor coming into a venue, you want someone like Terrie on your side. No matter how events unfold on the day, her ability to communicate promptly keeps everyone in the loop. I can only imagine that as a wedding couple, you would value these same traits highly: responsible, personable, communicative, clear, friendly, and helpful. Reviewed on 27-12-2021
Amy DeSutter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-02-2020 Although we did not host our wedding itself at the Loews, we did coordinate a fairly large room block for our wedding in Minneapolis. Taylor helped us from the very start and I loved her professional demeanor and attention to detail. I had called a few other hotels in DT Minneapolis and I could barely get a call or email returned. Taylor and the Loews team really impressed us from the beginning. I highly recommend a wedding or wedding block at the Loews. It's such a gorgeous hotel and the service follows suit! We worked with Carrie who helped us with every step and we could not be happier with our experience and the service we received. She was on top of her game from start to finish, responsive and made sure everything went as expected on the big night. She was very accommodating to a few unique requests and made us feel that we were the only event she was planning. The food was fantastic and every employee we encountered at Loews exhibited professionalism across the board. If we had to do this all over again, there is zero doubt in our minds that it would be at Loews. Reviewed on 23-10-2018

Carrie Mabery handled our wedding with the utter most professionalism and I couldn’t be happier with her. Tracey Zeng(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2018 We used Loews for our welcome drinks event the night before the wedding-- we booked the Apothecary Lounge and covered drinks for our guests up to a certain amount. We put down $1000 and it lasted well into the night (from 7 PM to about 11 PM)! Not sure exactly how many guests were there, but it was a pretty large group! Loews was a great deal because it gave us control over how much we wanted to spend, and we had an entire section of the hotel to ourselves. Really glad we went with them for our event! Samantha Swanson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-06-2017 We were BEYOND thrilled with the entire Wedding process at Loews. Terrie B. is an incredible asset to Loews and brings an extensive amount of experience to her coordinating position. Terrie made sure no detail was left undetermined all while making sure we didn't feel the slightest bit of stress during the planning process. Our food tasting was amazing, as was every touch-point along the way. Terrie was exceptionally accommodating to every unique detail we wanted to add to our day. Week of the wedding, Terrie was more than happy to walk our Officiant through extra details to ensure our Rehearsal went smoothly and efficiently. She also walked us through all financials to ensure we felt confident that the money we were spending was being put toward the items that were most important to us, and that we wouldn't be surprised with any final bills. Words truly cannot express how thankful we are to have chosen Loews to host our Wedding ceremony and reception. It was the most wonderful day, and we couldn't have done it without the incredible support of Terrie and the rest of the Loews staff. We felt so special at every point in the process, and they made this once-in-a-lifetime experience beyond incredible! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Loews! Reviewed on 04-07-2017
Taylor Raiche(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-07-2017 Plain amazing customer service. Using them for our wedding guest room block and morning after brunch for our wedding weekend. I started talking with Jeremy Keippela over 6 months ago- he has been nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend not only this hotel but his customer service. He has been in non stop communication and has bent over backwards to accommodate my *sometimes* bridezilla-ish requests. Emily Sepler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2015 I worked with Jeremy prior to this hotel being purchased by the Loews to reserve my block. Amber English(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-07-2015 We are so happy that we chose Loews Minneapolis for our wedding reception venue. The staff (from our event manager on down to valet) was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish. If you're looking for a venue in the city to show out-of-towners the best of MPLS, look no further. From the start, the room rates offered through the block were better than some of the non-luxury properties downtown (surprised the heck out of me, honestly!). Also, the location near the light rail was super helpful for our guests that wanted to avoid car rental (get to the airport and MOA!). The actual reception? Fantastic! Food was spectacular. Our guests loved it. Now, for what every bride & groom think about: price! When we received our final invoice gotta admit, pleasantly surprised. Elated, even. The other thing--the ballroom looks a bit different than the current picture. A beautifully sleek modern design has replaced the glass installation. That being said, if you're looking for a modern elegant vibe, you don't need to do much to this new space. Where that blue might have clashed with the wrong wedding colors, the new look is a lot more neutral (save on that decor budget!). One thing to consider with this hotel 1: if there's a major event the night of your wedding (as was in our case), plan ahead for guest parking and definitely use a shuttle (we shuttled our OOT guests, in hindsight I would have coordinated for our in-town guests to shuttle too). Second thing about events--on busy downtown weekends it also plays a role in photography options (an outdoor first look was pretty much a no for all the people, BUT thank you Loews for allowing us to use Chambers!)\r All in all, if I had to do it again I would definitely do it at Loews Minneapolis! Nicoelle Ingalls(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-11-2013 Terrie Bulanek and the staff at the Graves 601 Hotel are incredible. They were so helpful and thoughtful on every single detail. Although the cost of a meal at the Graves for a reception may be higher than other locations this venue is worth every single penny. They will wait on you hand and foot and will make sure you are wowed when you enter that ballroom. On top of that the space is so beautiful you do not need to spend thousands on decorations or centerpieces. The artwort installations do all of the work for you. The food is amazing as well. Terrie and her team saw my vision and made it even better than I thought. On top of that they always made sure I had a drink in my hand (if I wanted it) and followed up a few times during the night (at appropriate times mind you) to make sure everything was as I wanted it to. I received so many compliments from family and friends about the hotel and their service. I would pick the Graves over and over again! Whitney Cuta(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2012 Graves was the perfect location for our wedding as we had all out of town guests and a Sunday brunch so everyone could stay in the same location as all the weekend events. We thought everyone was slightly overpriced and were a little disappointed they were not open to certain negotiations based on the number of guest rooms we have for 2+ nights, a wedding ceremony, reception and Sunday brunch all at their location. I would recommend them to anyone but also warn of the steep prices for everything from a gallon of coffee for the bridesmaids and a TV for the kids room. Reviewed on 25-10-2012

The one exception to this was our hotel wedding coordinator contact. She was difficult to work with and seemed to have a somewhat sour attitude. However, everything went wonderfully once I asked for more involvement from a different team at the hotel, as they jumped in and took care of all of the problems we were experiencing. The hotel was beautiful and a more unique setting than most of the hotels we looked at. Truly, everyone else we encountered at the Graves was fantastic, kind, and went over and above their responsibilities to help us. The only thing that bothered me about the Graves hotel was the late check-in time (which I was not aware of ahead of time). Most of my guests, including my wedding party and family members, were not able to check in until AFTER the wedding ceremoy because to rooms were not ready until after the wedding started... Which was 4PM!! Hopefully they will hire more cleaning staff for the weekends moving forward. Thankfully, when there were any complaints submitted, the Graves honored a free night stay for those guests to come back.. Which my cousin has already used and said he had a great time. Erin Quirk(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-09-2009 Beautiful venue, great service by all the waitstaff during the reception. I wasn't as impressed by my contact during the planning process, as she wasn't particularly proactive. I always had to ask about obvious things (like when the florist should come in) which she should have anticipated I would ask since they do a lot of weddings. Also, they forgot to print our menus, and my contact said they didn't do it because I didn't ask for them, even though menus were part of the wedding package. Reviewed on 29-06-2010
