The Loews was a beautiful choice for our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception on the 33rd floor, the view in the Terrace for the ceremony was breathtaking and the 3 spaces perfectly accommodated our 70 guests throughout ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our primary contact through the Loews was Andreea Denes, she was a pleasure to work with. She seamlessly guided us through each step of the planning and was on site during our wedding to support throughout the day. We cannot say enough good things about Andreea and would recommend the Loews to any couple in need of an all-in-one venue, or even just for cocktail hour and reception. We also recommend getting the upgraded wedding package which nearly doubles the selections and adds a lot of nice touches to the reception. Andreea and all the staff at the Loews provided us with a stress free and unforgettable day! Reviewed on 20-12-2023

I have to say we had the best wedding of our imagination at the Philadelphia Loews- oh and our personal server for the night was sweet, attentive, professional, and totally added to the experience! June 2023 - The 33rd floor - Loews Hotel Philadelphia. - George Grant Wedding ....I cannot say enough GOOD things about The LOEWS Philadelphia Hotel for a WEDDING Reception! From the planning stage to the wedding day... Andreea Denes (catering sales manager) along with all Loews amazing STAFF were a pleasure to work with! Andreea seamlessly coordinated the wishes of our daughter and son-in-law (who resided in South Carolina at the time) along with the Bride and Grooms family in NJ to create a wonderful and memorable wedding reception . Andreea was always professional and was easy to communicate with when questions arose. A huge SHOUT OUT to the wonderful Loews STAFF for the great service and delicious and plentiful FOOD that our guests still can't stop talking about. The event ran smoothly allowing the Bride and Groom to enjoy their day!! The whole 33rd floor was utilized for the wedding - the Cocktail hour took place in two rooms full of windows with a stunning view of the city, dinner in the lovely main room with a large window across the front. then music and dancing and one of the bars in an adjacent room which allowed for the party to continue while leaving some guests to sit and talk without having to yell over loud music. There is also a large foyer where another bar was located that allowed for guests to congregate and take in a gorgeous view of Philadelphia. Parking was conveniently located right at the hotel. Room blocks were arranged for our guests who chose to stay overnight in beautiful and clean rooms. The hotel in a whole was lovely and clean. We did host a breakfast the next morning on the 33rd floor for those who stayed overnight. Again the food did not disappoint. Our guests still rave about the food and what a great time they had as did we !! Reviewed on 04-12-2023

We just got married at the Loews this past weekend, and we had a PHENOMENAL experience. Choosing the Loews as a venue was one of the best choices we made in the wedding planning process. From start to finish, the people we worked with were tremendous. We were primarily in contact with Andreea, who was incredibly responsive and communicative with us. She answered questions quickly and put in so much care to make sure that the Loews did everything they could to provide us with the wedding we wanted. We had a Indian-Jewish fusion wedding ceremony that introduced complications in terms of design and set up, but Andreea and her team at Loews were accommodating at every turn. On the wedding weekend itself, we were impressed with the level of service we received. When something unexpectedly went awry with decor on the day of the wedding, a number of staff members (including Andrew, Tony, and Steve) were fast in helping us find alternative solutions and additional items we could use.All in all, we are so grateful we had our wedding at the Loews Hotel and would strongly recommend it to others! Loews and the team there are incredible. Dealing with wedding planning during the pandemic was not easy, but the Loews made sure to not add to the stress of it all, and made sure we were taken care of! They were extremely organized, attentive to our wants and needs, and made our day go off without a hitch! Debbie was the best day of coordinator we could’ve hoped for, and we loved working with her and the rest of the Loews team! Every detail was met and our vision of our beautiful wedding day came true! Kim Magowan(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-12-2022 I'd like to echo Grace D's review. We booked the Loews for our Hotel block and I was not pleased with how catering was handled. While all the food was great and setup was smooth, this piece of the planning process gave me the most anxiety. I truly did not feel I could trust that any of it would go smoothly thanks to the correspondence I had leading up to the wedding. If you book here and arrange catering, make sure you stay on top of it and double check everything is set. I had the same issue with the hotel bags - I dropped them off the day before and when I went to check in to our room they didn't give me, my parents, or my grandparents a bag. Half my guests didn't get them and also did not know about the brunch so we ultimately overpaid for brunch as well. For as many weddings as I'm sure the Loews accommodates, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the service. Reviewed on 03-02-2023
Grace Dougherty(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2022 We used the Loews Hotel as our room block for our wedding. The location is great and the rooms were clean and spacious. Plus, our room block price was much cheaper compared to other hotels in the area. However, there were several negatives about this hotel. These negatives shouldn’t necessarily deter you from booking with them, but you should be aware of. First, do not be running late on the day of your wedding. The elevators can run very slowly. I had good luck, but my husband and his groomsmen had to wait 5-15 minutes every time they needed to get on the elevator. Second, the parking garage was so crowded that it took a long time to get your car. Third, there were a lot of weddings going on here, I’d say we were 1 of 4 weddings taking place at the hotel or using the hotel as a room block. That didn’t bother me, but I know that would bother some people. Again, none of these are deal breakers, just something to be aware of. However, the biggest complaint that I cannot excuse is that my in-laws scheduled a brunch the day after our wedding that the Loew’s hotel completely forgot to set up. I don’t know how you forget to set up a whole brunch, but they did. They moved quickly into action to set us and our guests up free of charge in their general area where they were already serving brunch. I’m glad they had a solution, but it wasn’t what we had planned. In addition, a lot of our guests didn’t know about our brunch because the front desk didn’t hand out our welcome bags to a majority of the guests. In conclusion, I would think carefully before you book them for your hotel block. Reviewed on 05-01-2023

Huajia made sure that we had everything we needed and was incredibly flexible to work with. As the plan progressed and we thought of more needs, such as a babysitting room and dressing rooms, she made it happen. Our guests raved about both the 33rd floor venue for cocktail hour and all of the food options. We also had our after party at Bank and Bourbon, complete with drink tickets, which was perfect for us and our guests. Oh and by the way, the bridal suite that the Loews put us in was epic. Let’s start with the fact that we booked this venue before the pandemic. They handled the need for rescheduling so gracefully, permitting us to move our date without hassle or obstacle. We initially worked with Andrea, then Craig, and then Huajia- over what approached two years to make our dream wedding come true. They each responded diligently, never leaving a question unanswered and never leaving us uncomfortable. I have so many friends who were getting married around the same time and they all had difficulties with their venue in the face of the pandemic. We did not. Loews Philadelphia stood up to the challenge and helped us move forward, they ensured to us that all would be okay. Our saving grace, ultimately, became Huajia who became involved with our wedding a few months before the date. She became the person I didn’t realize I needed but - was who I needed. Someone who knew the hotel in and out, every square foot- she made every request, dream, hope, and worry her sole priority . She made our dreams come true. She worked with our vendors day in and day out to make sure the visions we had didn’t just remain as visions. She responded to me at all hours, knowing that even a word from her when I was unsure about something would be so much to me. Our families could only rave about Loews, along with the hundreds of extended friends and family we had at the event. If I could have a wedding every year- this is where it would be. The staff, the service, the venue, and the commitment are indescribable. They are luxury with the face of familiarity, approachability, and compassion. We did two walkthroughs of the venue with Craig, once on our own & once with our parents and Craig was able to answer every question that we had. We had a guest count of approximately 90 people and we were able to do both cocktail hour and dinner/reception on the 33rd floor. There were so many options for guest at cocktail hour with different hors d'oeuvres and multiple stations to choose from. Dinner was also fantastic! Unfortunately because of Covid restrictions, we were not able to have a full tasting, but we were still accommodated and able to test out some of the salad and entree options for dinner. Even without getting a chance to taste the cocktail hour food, we made our selections and were so happy with how everything tasted! Planning out details with Huajia was a life-saver! She made me feel like everything was under control - and it definitely was! Natalie Rivera(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-05-2021 My husband and I had booked the Lowes as our reception venue for our originally scheduled 2020 city themed wedding. Unfortunately, due to Covid we had to push the wedding back several times. With the frequently changing Philadelphia restrictions, Craig always kept us up to date on what our options were. The week of the wedding we found out that we would be permitted to have our reception for up to 75 people. It was the 1st wedding in over a year that the Loews had held. Craig and Huajia quickly put plans into place on how to modify our cocktail hour and ballroom's setup to adjust for the changed guest count. They were even able to provide us with last minute vendors for additional add-ons. In addition to Craig and Huajia, Sabrina was in charge of our room block for guests. She was always quick with her responses and accommodated last minute changes while still honoring our room block rate. The night of the reception, Huajia was there upon our arrival to ensure anything we needed was taken care of. One of the things that was important to us was quickly moving through wedding traditions so that we could begin the party and Huajia kept us on schedule so that we were able to do that. We got our own personal server the night of the wedding and she always made sure that we were alright and was quick to refill our drinks if we were low. We were able to have our cocktail hour on the 33rd floor which has the most beautiful views of the city that we have ever seen! The food was delicious! Our guests still talk about how great the food was especially during cocktail hour. Our reception was held in the Regal Ballroom which has a modern feel. Due to all of our difficulties with Covid, the hotel even upgraded our drink package and suite, again with incredible views of the city! The only thing we were disappointed with was that you can no longer take pictures up on the roof with the PSFS sign. Apparently there has been a change with insurance so they are no longer doing it. But we were having so much fun during the party we did not mind that much in the moment. While it was difficult to cut down our guest list to 75 people, we are thrilled that we were able to have our reception in our original venue of choice. The Loews is a breathtaking venue and beyond accommodating for their clients. Reviewed on 14-06-2021

Our guests wouldn't stop raving about how beautiful the views were. During the reception we utilized the Terrace again as a bar/lounge area and also had a photobooth in that room. This was Andreea's idea and it was a perfect plan because it gave people a chance to move around, enjoy the view, but also be close to the main room (Howe) where the all the action was/dancefloor was. We were able to customize our package for the entire day. She kept us updated as we went along. I stayed in the hotel the night before since the church was so close to the reception hall. Upon checking in I gave them my cell number and I was told that I could text them with whatever I needed. I did end up realizing my husband had my toothbrush and toothpaste. They did deliver within an hour. It was great! The day of our wedding Andreea and her team were outstanding. Andreea kept us updated as things were happening. We asked for food and drinks to be set aside for the bridal party to have before the reception. It was so nice to have a moment to sit down and digress before we got bombarded by everyone. Elizabeth was my wedding coordinator at Loews and she was so great to work with. She offered great suggestions to things I had questions about and was there to help with every detail. My wedding itself was on the 33rd floor and we had the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception in different rooms. The event was black tie and the venue fit this perfectly. The views were breaktaking and all my guests kept commenting and taking pictures of the skyline. After attending several weddings with poor weather, we decided to have a wedding indoors that had an amazing view, and this was it! The food was also to die for and we had several vegan guests who also had a lot of delicious options to eat as well. We also had hand crafted signature drinks that were a hit and everyone loved the pretzel fondue station at the end of the night too! Plus we were able to get all our guests an excellent rate through our hotel block for the event, so they enjoyed a 5-star experience all around. Padma R(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-04-2016 Our wedding day was April 30, 2016. We did a Hindu ceremony and Catholic Ceremony, both in the Millennium Ballroom. Following the ceremonies, we had our cocktail hour in the Millennium ballroom lobby, and reception in the Regency Ballroom. We loved the Loews' cost, modern decor, proximity to transportation for our out of town guests, hotel rooms and ballrooms. From the beginning of the process, Andreea (our Catering Manager and life saver) was on top of each detail even though we had a logistically complicated wedding. She was very responsive, professional, and flexible. We knew we wanted the food to be one of the highlights of our day. Andreea and team were able to collaborate with our external Indian food vendor to present the Loews catering and Indian catering as a cohesive meal. Again, the pricing was very fair. Andreea was able to swap out hors d’oeuvres options we didn't need for a discounted Viennese dessert display and ice cream bar.Our guests loved the modern, clean rooms. We started our room block with a smaller package of rooms, but as the day approached, the Loews team helped us get an additional 15 rooms at our rate, even though it was Penn Relays weekend. They worked very hard to accommodate our guests and get checked in before our ceremony started (our ceremony started at 2pm and check in was 4pm).The day of the wedding the Loews team was, again, on top of every detail. Our guests raved about the food and the friendly staff. Andreea, again, was amazing. She was on top of the schedule and made adjustments when we ran late so our guests had no idea. One small detail that shows her and her team's dedication -- for the Hindu ceremony we had to take our shoes off. As we exited the Millennium ballroom afterward she had slippers ready for us so we didn’t have to continue walking around barefoot.Overall we had an amazing experience with the Loews and definitely recommend them as a venue. We worked with Amanda and her team from the beginning and had such a pleasant experience with the hotel and staff. Loews goes above and beyond to make your wedding day is everything you imagined it would be and more. Amanda was our primary contact but couldn't be onsite that day, so Elizabeth took over and the transition went seamlessly. She also helped coordinate a post wedding brunch the next day on the 33rd floor. We also had a room block and worked with Sabrina and her team. Our guests couldn't say enough positive things about the hotel and the staff onsite. Everyone was so friendly and even when we had small requests for things they forgot to do, they made sure to correct it right away. My biggest suggestion is regarding onsite parking if any future couples are considering hosting the parking onsite in the garage - make sure to over communicate with Sabrina and her team beforehand to ensure the parking goes on the master bill and not guests individual room bills before they check out. This was an issue for us, but was one small slip up and didn't overshadow what was otherwise a great event put on by the Loews and all their hard working and friendly staff. Definitely recommend the Loews to any future couples that are looking for a city wedding in a great, central location that also has the convenience of rooms onsite! Reviewed on 28-08-2016

Jennifer Luu(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-09-2014 Where do I even begin. My husband and I were searching high and low all over the city for a venue to host both our ceremony + reception. While we didn’t have a huge guest count by any means (160), finding a space in the city that would hit all of the items on our checklist (budget, great space, food, room block, staff) was proving difficult and we were about 10 venues deep in our search by the time we came to the Loews Hotel. It hit all of our requirements and we were sold on our first visit. From the initial walkthrough to the attention to detail the coordinator gave to us, everything was top notch. Our initial coordinator left halfway through the planning process, but the director, Amanda Conger, took over and it was an absolutely seamless transition. Amanda was on top of everything and definitely helped to alleviate my fears as we approached the big day (thorough and timely responses to all of my emails). The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my numerous requests and we had no issue dropping by the hotel for any last minute decisions if need be. Our reception was in the 2nd Floor Millennium Ballroom and our ceremony up on the 33rd Floor in the Howe Room. This actually turned out be an upgrade for us as we were initially meant to have the ceremony in the Millennium Ballroom, but Amanda gave us the Howe Room which was perfect. I also was able to secure space on the 2nd floor above the Millennium Ballroom for a Chinese Tea Ceremony that we incorporated during our cocktail hour. \r\rAll of our friends and family till this day rave about their stay at the hotel and how tremendous the service was there and during the wedding. We started with one contact at loews and she left midway through planning - Amanda took over seamlessly. We really loved everything about the loews. from The views to the food we still hear rave reviews from friends and family months later. The only minor complaint I would make is - as a bride and groom we didn't feel waited on like we should be. We had to ask around for food and drinks - that should have been taken care of. We were asked what drinks we should be served before our wedding and those were never brought to us. That was disappointing. I figure if you spend that much money - these are the minor details that should be paid attention to. That being said - Amanda was fantastic with taking over and with all of my many questions. The hotel staff was also top notch. Bellman Anthony - was the best! And the staff who took care of our room blocks (Mary especially) were incredible - we had so many changes and they rolled with every one. The cake was incredible as well. She set up a nice tasting for us and that was delicious.\r\rI'm still excited and hopeful for our wedding, because the space is beautiful and at least our main contact is now being responsive. But our original contact, and the hotel room coordinator have been absolute nightmares. I hope I can write a better review after we're done. Reviewed on 12-07-2011

Judi Banco(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2010 The Loews Philadelphia Hotel was the perfect wedding venue! The Millenium Ballroom is the most unique ballroom in the city. Where else can you find huge windows looking out at the city and all that marble! Everything about the venue was fabulous. David Hall, the Director of Catering was a joy to work with. He is the best at what he does! Food was wonderful and so was the presentation. The staff was caring, attentive and friendly. Definitely a great choice! Reviewed on 14-11-2010
