We had a destination wedding at Loews Ventana Canyon resort on 10/22/22. We had a romantic ceremony by the waterfall and an intimate candlelight reception at ventana terrace. We had the most amazing and memorable time. The staff were incredible, especially when the electric would not work for the ceremony. They worked as a team to bring electric to the area and kept reassuring us that it would be fixed and it was. They also kept a dish of appetizers for us, as we were getting the most amazing photos taken. In addition there were 2 other weddings that evening but the resort is so spacious we never did cross paths and our event remained very private. I would highly recommend this location - it is a beautiful resort and all of our guests were blown away at the entire weekend experience. Our initial experience was a little lack of response by staff in setting up rooms and receiving information, as we progressed through the planning it did get better. Sue and Scott B.

Loews Ventana was our recommended resort for guests the weekend of our wedding. The resort itself is beautiful, love the patios in every room and very comfortable beds. For wedding planning, we worked with Michaela and she was fantastic over our year of planning! From the start she gave us a tour, worked with us on the room block contract, and made the process enjoyable and easy! She was extremely responsive, helpful, and above and beyond on our special day. Our guests loved Loews Ventana and I highly recommend.

Loews Ventana was our recommended resort for guests the weekend of our wedding. The resort itself is beautiful, love the patios in every room and very comfortable beds. For wedding planning, we worked with Michaela and she was fantastic over our year of planning! From the start she gave us a tour, worked with us on the room block contract, and made the process enjoyable and easy! She was extremely responsive, helpful, and above and beyond on our special day. Our guests loved Loews Ventana and I highly recommend.

The Loews was a great venue to work with. The property is beautiful and the wedding packages are all inclusive which was a major bonus (this was a destination wedding for us)We worked with Naomi and she was the best! Naomi has this ability to make you feel like you are the only and best wedding she has ever worked with and we really felt special. She has great attention to detail and honestly she is the icing, cherry and sprinkles on top of an already beautiful venue. Beyond our experience with Naomi, we can't say enough about the food and cake. The best you will ever get, hands down (and we've attended a lot of large weddings). The cake was stunning (I wish I could share a picture). It was so delicious that although it was hard to steal me away from the dance floor, I just had to dance around while eating a plate of it! Our only gripe is with some of the front desk staff and booking rooms through the block. Some of the staff was unprofessional and many were clueless when it came to helping guests book their rooms through the block which was frustrating. Overall, everything worked out and management was very professional and helpful.

The Loews was a great venue to work with. I'd have another wedding at Loews in a heartbeat! ;) My then-fiance and I pretty much had our heart set on LVC from the time we got engaged (though we did humor one or two other ideas). Loews exceeded our expectations and was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Kim McFate is a total pro and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Every detail was taken care of to the point that the only thing I was worried about on the day of was whether or not the weather would cooperate. (It did, by the way.) The atmosphere was perfect, the food was AMAZING (what little I had...I should have eaten more!) and everything from start to finish was perfect. Our wedding was in October and we have family and guests that are still talking about it, saying it's one of the best weddings they'd ever been to. As much as I'd like to take credit, that was all Kim and the awesome people at Loews Ventana Canyon. Would absolutely recommend to anyone reading this. My two cents: get married on a Saturday and stay for the Sunday brunch. (It's the best brunch ever, you'll see.)Best wedding ever!

Our experience at the Loews was perfect in all ways. While the setting is beautiful, it was the staff that really made our wedding a great experience. Kim, the catering manager, was incredible. She went above and beyond from the moment we first met her. Having to do a kosher wedding is challenging and expensive at many venues, but with the Loews, it was very simple. They accommodated any special requests we had. The food was spectacular. We highly recommend the Loews for your wedding!

Our experience at the Loews was perfect in all ways. While the setting is beautiful, it was the staff that really made our wedding a great experience. Kim, the catering manager, was incredible. We were told we pre-paid for everything before the wedding except the bar, and to my surprise we got a bill for $19,000 a week after the wedding. Yes, $19,00o! Not a happy feeling for your honeymoon. When i went over the bill there were so many hidden fees and very expensive service charges for everything. Also, it says on the brochure when they are trying to sell you the reception that there is a complimentary champagne toast, don't be fooled like i was. It is \"free\" for the bride and groom only not your guests, or even your wedding party, so if you spend 50,000 on just food and drinks you get a free sip of sparkling wine. NOT CHAMPAGNE. They also charge $3 per guest to hand your guests a gift bag that you made at the check-in counter. If you want them put in the rooms you have to pay $6 per gift. Just to put in perspective how expensive everything is i will give an example. I had 13 people in my wedding that drink alcohol, this includes my family. I asked that we be served a margarita while we take group pictures at the altar. So for 13 people we got a bill for $500. the math on that is $38 per margarita. We they only had time for one each and the groom and i didn't even have one. There is nothing wrong with a place being expensive but they should advertise that and tell you up front. If i had known i could have just had it at Ritz Carlton, Dove Mountain for the same price and better customer service, or picked a more affordable option. I felt like just a number here and they were all about their money and contracts and never about my happiness or that i was getting married. The last thing that i found very humiliating was before i walked up to the ceremony site for the wedding, by myself, no one helping from the hotel, I asked the front desk to hold my shorter veil for after the ceremony. When i went after the wedding to get it they had lost it, when i went behind the desk where i had seen the lady put it a very rude man yelled at me that i cant step behind the counter which is just a desk with open sides all around. He told me he would call security. I'm 5,4 and 115 lbs, and in a wedding dress,you can probably skip security. Anyway, long story short they lost the veil so i had to take my after wedding pictures without it. I had a really unpleasant experience working with the hotel. I picked Ventana Canyon because of the location and beauty but the wedding support staff might as well be non-existent. I felt like i had little to no guidance until i finally caved and hired a very expensive wedding planner, to help me navigate the whole experience. Even with her 20 years of event planning experience in Tucson she informed me that Ventana was not easy to work with and a huge step down from her past experiences. The night of my rehearsal when i am busy, have all my wedding party and family, Ventana's coordinator wanted me to go over the catering contract and fine print that was about 10 pages long. I had been in contact with her and at the hotel for days before the wedding when i would have a much better time going through paperwork. Instead i was trying my best to do it by myself in the lobby when i should have been on my way to my rehearsal dinner. I really would have liked my wedding planner to have had a chance to look it over. Ventana's coordinator always seemed way too busy and over-worked to really be able to work with me and ultimately was not helpful. I never even saw her the day of my wedding.

Loews really made my wedding the most perfect it could ever be- we had our ceremony at the beautiful natural waterfall on-site, and it truly was a one-of-a-kind location in Tucson! The food was the best I had ever had, and we had constant complements all night that no one had had a steak so great in their lives! The Loews staff are always attentive, professional, and every aspect of our wedding went smoothly and like clockwork. Audra was our coordinator, and nearly every vendor we contacted raved about her the moment we mentioned our wedding at Loews. She made the whole process easy and it's clear she works her hardest to make every event at Loews incredible. I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

I love this hotel, it is absolutely beautiful and so perfect for a wedding. Dasha is amazing and took care of everything that we needed! She even recommended vendors when we didn't even know how to begin looking. The day of was perfect, the staff was very attentive and so professional. It was money well spent on our part and we wouldn't have changed a thing about it. The food was fabulous and everyone loved the venue. All of our guests from out of town stayed at the hotel and loved everything about it. When the night was over, they packed up all of our stuff, had all of our gifts in our room, and made sure the top tier of the cake was boxed up and put in the fridge. \r\rI LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel!
