We are so thrilled to have had Lokal host our wedding anniversary celebration/reception in July! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. The character and ambience of this location spoke for itself and meant we didn't have to worry about hiring other vendors for decor. However, for the few decorations we did want, Carolina graciously provided us with what we needed to set them up. The location of this venue is excellent. Our guests raved about the proximity to the NYC skyline and appreciated having access to the outdoor patio to enjoy the gorgeous views. It is located close to several hotels, so our out-of-town guests enjoyed an easy walk along the boardwalk to get there.We were beyond impressed with the food. The selection was extensive, and we appreciated having a tasting prior to the event to narrow down the selection. We opted for the buffet setup for dinner, which allowed our guests to choose food that worked for them. Ingredients/allergens were also clearly labeled for our guests with dietary restrictions, and the chef kindly provided alternate food options for our vegetarian guests. Additionally, all of the staff (servers, bartenders, etc.) throughout the entire night were courteous, professional, and attentive. Carolina and her team worked hard to ensure our event went exactly as we envisioned. We highly recommend having your next event here!

We had a small wedding in the semi private space (15 guests) and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was great, the food was amazing and the views were spectacular. It was just right.

We had the most beautiful wedding I could have ever asked for at Lokal on September 3rd with about 85 guests. Mona and her team went above and beyond executing our reception. The food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the buffet to the late night food, everything was as hot and flavorful as our tasting. The wait staff and bar service was just amazing. We had a few older guests who had to stay seated during cocktail hour due to their limited mobility. A server came by and was sure to offer them each and every appetizer so they did not feel neglected. We gave our DJ a playlist for some direction, and he perfectly cherry picked the right songs at the right time to keep the crowd entertained and excited. These are the kind of truly thoughtful touches you can expect from Lokal. Lokal is much more than a restaurant. They understand how to execute a wedding reception that includes introductions, first dances, and speeches. Mona is kind, responsive, and open to listening to all of our ideas while planning. Her thoughtful guidance and expertise at her craft shined through when making every decision. Her team was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and worked so well with our florist and cake delivery to bring it all together. We had many guests from out of town, and they were absolutely wowed by the view of the New York skyline and service. Thank you Lokal for making our wedding dreams come true!

My husband and I worked with Mona to throw a wedding celebration. We had a small ceremony during the pandemic with immediate family members only, so we viewed this as an opportunity to finally have the cocktail hour and reception we always wanted. Mona and Lokal delivered that in spades. The service was absolutely phenomenal - the servers were constantly checking on guests and bringing them drinks on the floor, the bartenders were experienced and made absolutely delicious cocktails, and no one had to wait whatsoever to get a drink. We got tons of compliments on the food, the atmosphere, the view, the service - everything! People were telling us it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. Mona and her managers are also so kind, thoughtful, and flexible. We can't recommend Lokal enough.

We were the first couple to get married at Lokal and let me tell you - we couldn't be happier!!Planning a wedding during Covid was no easy task but Mona and Elora went above and beyond to keep us in the loop the entire time while making plans and adjustments as everything unfolded. They were so great to work with and really listened to everything that we wanted on our day ensuring that it all went the way we imagined and more (down to taste testing three different levels of a specialty cocktail spicy marg!)The venue itself is gorgeous. It has a modern yet classic vibe to it and the skyline just takes your breath away. If you're looking for something that is a little different and striking, you've found it.Our guests were completely blown away by not only the views but the food and the service. We had so many compliments on the staff from our evening and how they were always checking in to see what was needed and keeping the drinks flowing! Everyone loved the food and commented on how different it was from other weddings which is just what we wanted.I can't recommend Lokal more and can't wait to have other people experience the amazing day like we had. Thank you Mona and Elora!!
