My husband and I are incredibly happy that we chose LondonHouse for our ceremony and reception -- we truly could not have asked for a better weekend. Steve and his team are extremely professional and helpful every step of the way; from our very first tour of the property to our farewell brunch the morning after our wedding, everything was absolutely perfect. We could not recommend LondonHouse more. One of the things we loved most about this venue was the incredible attention to detail and the invaluable years of experience that the LondonHouse team brings to the table. Steve made us feel so at ease that no matter what happened (for example, it stormed on the day of our wedding and we had to quickly shift photography locations on the property), everything would work out perfectly, and it did. He was always planning ten steps ahead. We also LOVED the food at LondonHouse, and our guests continue to rave about it. There are so many great options, from the hors d'oeuvres to the sweets, and the team did such a good job making accommodations for dietary restrictions and allergies. They also partner with a local bakery for the wedding cake, so that's also one less thing to plan yourselves.I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this place is and how lucky we felt to have a venue that truly cared about making our wedding as beautiful and stress-free as it was. My Daughter celebrated her wedding at the London House Chicago on 12/31/2023. The London House is not only the most beautiful Hotel, but the staff was outstanding and the food even better! Our guests could not believe how wonderful dinner was and our Monday morning brunch incredible. The reception you receive upon arrival was warm and welcoming and while a small hotel, it is grand in everything in everything they do. The whole weekend ran like a brand-new clock. Many thanks to Steve Sleczka who runs a very tight ship and who helped give my daughter her dream wedding. Door staff and Bellman to front desk reception it was absolutely wonderful.

As a wedding planner, I had the most amazing experience with the catering team at London House. HBIC Weddings works everywhere downtown and comparatively Steve during the planning and Justin on the day of the wedding were a well oiled machine. Steve & Justin were a great partners for my team!!!

If you are looking for the most beautiful wedding venue in Chicago- then look no further. The LondonHouse Chicago is the most beautiful hotel to get married at in Chicago. From the delicious food to the breathtaking views, I had the wedding of my dreams!!!! The staff are absolutely wonderful, and Steve is exactly who you want in your corner for the big day. I felt as if I had someone who truly cared about my vision for my wedding and brought it to life. He is so attentive, so wonderful, and felt like I was planning a wedding with a loved family member. My pictures on the cupola were absolutely breathtaking. I will be forever grateful for the LondonHouse team for making my day so wonderful.

I can’t say enough great things about Steve and London House! We had an amazing weekend, were treated well from the minute we walked in to the minute we left as well as all of our guests! The food selections were tasty and everyone raves about the Iconic Chicago station all night. We’ve always loved London House but this weekend and our wedding experience really blew it out of the park for us!

Joshua and I had our wedding at Londonhouse on 9/9/23. To say it was an absolute dream wedding would be an understatement! Steve was absolutely fantastic to work with. He replies to emails within minutes, is always available to help with any and everything, and is extremely knowledgeable of not only Londonhouse, but the wedding world in general! Steve truly has it down to a science! From the bellhop staff, to the dinner service, the bar service, and everyone in between, Londonhouse did a phenomenal job. The LondonHouse was our DREAM wedding venue. We reviewed and toured tens of venues, from downtown hotels to museums and more. Once we saw LH, we know it was the one! The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Chicago river are to die for... and that's just the beginning. Steve (Director of Weddings) was AMAZING to work with - he's incredibly sharp, detail-oriented and organized. His background is in wedding planning and he always had the best recommendation and tips tailored to the venue.Now for the feedback from our guests - so many of our guests told us that the food served was the BEST wedding food they've ever had! The out of town guests were also very impressed with the hotel room/amenities and location. If you're thinking about having your wedding at LH, don't think twice. I can't imagine a better venue in downtown Chicago. BONUS: I have severe food allergies and was very anxious about safely eating on my wedding day. Steve and the staff were incredibly accommodating and respectful of my allergies (and those of wedding guests) and the night went off without a hitch. I can't put a price on the peace of mind I had knowing LH was taking special care of my food allergies on my big night. Big thank you to Steve and the team for making our dream weekend come true!

The LondonHouse is the perfect place to be married at. We did not spend too long looking for venues as we quickly realized how good this place would be. We had our wedding in the Juliette Grand Ballroom. It was beautiful. The wall of windows overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking. The food at the venue was excellent as well! We are still receiving compliments on all the food served from the hors d’oeuvres to the main entrée. All of the staff at the LondonHouse were phenomenal to work with and all extremely kind individuals. Steve the venue coordinator was incredible to work with as well. He is very kind and patient and has a great sense of humor. He is very organized and flexible. He will help coordinate everything within the LondonHouse. He has a very thorough timeline for all the events leading up to the wedding and the whole day of the wedding. He also prepared a list of outside venues we may need as well suggestions for those they have worked with in the past. If we had any questions, we emailed them to him and he was very quick to respond and always professional. He was very familiar with everything that goes in to hosting a wedding. He coordinated our whole day with our day of coordinator and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were actually able to enjoy our day. Steve was priceless and a big reason we chose this venue.

Steve from day one when we met him made our experience so enjoyable planning the day and ensured that everything went smoothly on the day. We had our first look on the Cupola, cocktail hour in the Etoile room and an amazing dinner and drinks reception. We highlight recommend London House for smaller weddings, we had 50 guests and they have an event room to accommodate with a private terrace and city views. Our guests were really wowed by the service during their stay at the hotel, the amazing event and the incredible food! It really was the best day ever - thank you to Steve, Justin and the LH team!

We had our wedding at LondonHouse in June 2022 and it was by far better than anything I could have imagined. So many of our guests, even months later, have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The entire LondonHouse team, and Steve in particular, went above and beyond to make the whole process so smooth and easy. Steve was there the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly, and he promptly answered every question we had leading up to the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about him; he knows what he’s doing and he does it incredibly well. Every detail of the day and the process leading up to it was so meticulously thought through. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I cannot recommend LondonHouse enough to anyone looking for a downtown location to have their wedding. The entire process was low-stress and the result was beyond anything I could have imagined. The views of the river are spectacular, the ballroom and cocktail area are beautiful, and it’s located in such a great spot for pictures. We did our first look up in the cupola on the rooftop, and then walked around Michigan Ave, the Wrigley Building, and the river for photos with our wedding party. The entire day was beyond perfect.

We had our wedding at LondonHouse & it could not have been a greater experience for us, our guests & throughout the entire wedding planning process. Steve has been in the industry for years & his experience shows - he was so knowledgeable throughout the entire process & it showed when the time came to execute. Several guests came up to us to mention this was the best banquet style food they’ve ever had at a wedding, everything was executed to perfection & everything came out hot & prepared to everyone’s expectations. There was nothing but rave reviews about the mushroom soup, the Seabass & the Filet. Not only that, but the rooms were amazing & we are so thankful for how we were treated as guests at London House. The penthouse suite was beautiful and we really enjoyed our night & the following day there. Our wedding planner said this was one of the most professional teams they’ve ever worked with & the teamwork that was displayed during the room flip was nothing short of incredible. So again, thank you so much for everything throughout the process. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering hosting a wedding in Chicago!

First, Steve and the staff were exceptional to work with and handled everything from booking to \"day of\" with great attention to detail. Second, the food was amazing - we had many compliments from the hors d'oeuvres all the way to the late night snack. Finally, the venue itself was perfect because everything is on one private floor with fantastic views of the city from every window. As an added bonus, the tower on top of the building made for stunning wedding photos! We also had a brunch in E'toile at LondonHouse the morning after the wedding. Once again, the food was exceptional! Please do not sleep on this venue when choosing yours - it's phenomenal!

Booking our wedding through the LondonHouse was the best decision we made. We got married a few months ago and still receive compliments from guests on how great everything was. The staff was very professional and the reception could not have gone more smooth operationally thanks to Steve's many years of experience. However, one of the biggest compliments we have received from guests is the food. There are many wedding caterers that can provide somewhat bland food based on past weddings I have attended. I would eat the reception food at LondonHouse over a majority of restaurants in Chicago. It is fantastic and every hors d'oeuvres or reception course was a hit with our guests. This was not something we could really test out initially when first reviewing reception vendors but we were even more happy with our decision after our food tasting. Lastly, the LondonHouse location along the riverwalk (and near numerous major attractions) is excellent especially during summer. We had many out of town guests visiting for the first time and we received several compliments on how impressed they were just with Chicago in general. Pretty much every guest staying at LondonHouse visited the rooftop bar at some point to take in the downtown views along the river.

If you are looking for a venue in Chicago look no further than LondonHouse and it's all due to Steve. I was the MOB and when my daughter and I were looking around for venues we just weren't happy until we found Steve and LondonHouse.He was so prompt with any question and concern that she had through the whole process and you wonder - can he really deliver on all he promised? The answer is yes and so much more!Not only was the venue in itself spectacular but having the experience of the whole third floor including the cocktail space and grand ballroom was perfect We never felt cramped or stuck in one place and had lots of room to move around. Having access to the rooftop was perfect for the younger crowd too.The food was 5 star quality. The chefs were amazing along with the waitstaff and bartenders. Steve sets such a high bar and you can tell his signature is on everything and he stands by his promises. We had a special request which he fulfilled beyond our expectations, and even his recommendations for vendors were top notch.Steve's the real deal and he will work with you to make your wedding special. We couldn't be happier with the wedding he designed for our daughter and can't recommend him enough.

My husband and I were in awe at the photos of weddings held at LondonHouse and immediately sought more information and upon meeting the wedding coordinator Steve knew this was the right choice for us. Steve was absolutely amazing and irreplaceable! He was so much fun, good at diffusing tension or anxiety, and so well organized. He thought of everything that never even crossed our minds. Our wedding would not have been possible without his help. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and we were lucky enough for the rooftop to be open during our wedding. Since most of our guests were from out of town we were so happy with the location and the bar as out of town guests felt like they got a bona fide Chicago experience while visiting for our wedding. Everyone on site was unbelievably kind and helpful. The food at the wedding was EXTRAORDINARY, the chef was is so incredibly talented and we got so many compliments on the food! Bar staff and servers the night of the reception were so unbelievably wonderful and professional. The view from the Juliette ballroom is exquisite especially at night and the surrounding area is perfect for city shots with the photographers. The cupola was astounding and so unique and gorgeous and the photos there are show stopping. Overall we would not change a thing about the wedding and are so thankful for Steve and everyone at Londonhouse for making the weekend absolutely perfect!

He is truly a mastermind and brought our dream wedding to life. Steve was absolutely amazing to work with and made the whole planning processes a breeze. He has years of wedding experience and it shows. And don’t forget about the food! We received a ton of compliments on how delicious the food was. The presentation and service provided our guests with a 5 star dining experience. The bridal suite was just as jaw dropping as the spectacular views out of the third floor ballroom over looking the river. We cannot express how thankful we are that LondonHouse has Steve as their wedding coordinator as he made the entire wedding planning with LondonHouse go so smoothly! He responded to all our emails the same day, answered all of our questions and concerns, as well as provided valuable suggestions that we incorporated in wedding planning. We both were worried for the tasting, as we both are picky eaters, but Steve made the experience amazing as he helped us alter the courses to our specifications and liking. We are truly thankful to Steve and the entire staff at LondonHouse for making our wedding the wedding of our dreams. LondonHouse delivered one of the most breathtaking and memorable weddings that my wife and I could ever dream of. When we toured the LondonHouse, the primary reasons my wife and I chose this venue was the location downtown Chicago for our guests, the elegance of the hotel and wedding venue, and the wedding coordinator, Steve Sleczka. Upon meeting Steve, his decades of experience in the wedding industry were apparent, and he was paramount to pulling off an amazing wedding. He was responsive throughout the 12 months between booking Londonhouse and our wedding date, was organized throughout the process, and was proactive in reaching out to both my wife and I to keep us up to date and keep the stress levels low. The organization of the day of our wedding was beyond imaginable. The bridal suite was perfect for my wife and the bridal party, and my groomsman and I were extremely well taken care of. Our guests continued to comment on how beautiful the hotel rooms, rooftop bar, and the hotel was. Our guests were treated spectacularly, as were my wife and I. We continued to comment on how absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day, from the photographer, transportation from the hotel to our church and back, the cocktail hour, the dinner and the reception. Steve and his team had our day planned down to the minute, and my wife and I could not ask anything more of Londonhouse. The staff working their wedding services are worth their weight in gold, and you would be hard pressed to find a hotel that is better suited to host a wedding.

After planning, rescheduling and replanning we had a beautiful wedding at the London House last weekend. The wedding event planner, Steve Sleczka, worked with us for almost two years. Everything was terrific. The room is beautiful, the lobby is stunning and a great place for pictures as is the rooftop bar. The guest rooms also were lovely. The food could not have been better and all the staff, from the chef to the servers, bartenders and housekeeping could not have been more accommodating. The attention to detail was apparent everywhere. Steve's patience with getting everything rescheduled due to the pandemic also was amazing.

Our dream wedding became a reality because of the LondonHouse Chicago. This truly gorgeous venue is the absolute perfect place to hold your wedding and reception of any size. I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful and unique the hotel is. Some hotel ballrooms can be sterile or stuffy, but at the LondonHouse, the Juliette Ballroom is romantic and makes you feel like you are in the heart of the city. The view of the Chicago River and the city's skyline is stunningly framed in the ballroom's floor to ceiling windows, giving our wedding the true Chicago glitz and one of a kind view. The staff at the LondonHouse went above and beyond the call of duty on so many occasions throughout the planning process. Steve took so much stress out of planning a wedding during pandemic, and was patient and accommodating with all of our questions and concerns, putting us at ease every step of the way. He was incredible full stop. Emails and phone calls were always answered in under 24 hours, and his attention to detail eliminated any stress that one could experience when planning a wedding. The professionalism of the hotel staff as a whole was impressive as well. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was as well as how friendly and helpful the staff was. Our guests were also impressed by the quality and delightfulness of the food served at our reception, it was delicious and the chefs deserve the highest of compliments for their delectable creations during the cocktail hour and dinner courses. Our dream wedding was made possible by Steve and his staff at the LondonHouse, and we will always be appreciative and thankful for the once in a lifetime experience they gave us. Not only was Steve and the LondonHouse staff fantastic during the planning process but they were supportive and patient during the challenges of our postponement and eventual cancellation. The LondonHouse team had planned to give us exactly what we had envisioned and I still dream about to this day. If you are considering LondonHouse as your wedding venue, don't hesitate, go for it!

Royalty!!! This is the one word that best sums up our experience as newlyweds under the care of Steve Sleczka, Director of Weddings, at the LondonHouse Chicago. The ceremony, champagne toast, and extravagant exit were all meticulously planned and flawlessly executed by Steve. Our daughter was relatively new to Chicago and we live out of town, so were looking for an elegant hotel venue with a wedding coordinator that we could trust to manage all the details for a 200 person event. We visited nearly every major hotel in town, but once we saw the beautiful London House and met with Steve Sleczka, the resident wedding coordinator, we believed we had found the right combination; and we were not disappointed. The venue is stunning: first class accommodations, the Juliette ballroom with picture windows overlooking the skyline, and the rooftop terrace and cupola were all beautiful. There was a spacious suite for the bride and her party to get ready prior to the wedding. The food was excellent, with fun hors d'oeuvres and well prepared entrees. Many people commented on the quality of the meals. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Steve worked with us from the beginning, offering suggestions on choice of vendors who we could count on and were familiar with the layout of the hotel. He also helped us make decisions on proper sequencing of the entire event--reception, dinner, and dancing--and was there personally throughout the weekend to pay attention to every detail. Steve coordinated seamlessly behind the scenes with our wedding planner and the other vendors. He was a pleasure to work with and really made the entire process from planning through the actual event turn out special. I would 100% recommend LondonHouse Chicago to anyone looking to get married in the city. The location is amazing and the event space was built with the intent to host weddings in mind. You have an amazing private space with all the amenities needed for a wedding including a kitchen on the same floor, plenty of bathrooms, space for the bride and groom to have a private moment after the ceremony, and of course the cupola for fun photos. Plus, you won't have other hotel guests accidentally running into your space. On top of all of that, Steve Sleczka, the Wedding Director makes this venue above all the rest. With years of experience, attention to detail, and almost immediate response times, he allowed us to enjoy our wedding day and the days leading up to the big event less stressful. He offered opinions when asked, and was flexible to carry out our vision in the ways we wanted. The numerous glowing reviews say it all, but when you meet Steve in person you will understand why he is the best. Also, one of the most important pieces of our wedding was the food and the chef and his team did not disappoint! The number 1 compliment we received from our wedding was how good the food was and the generous portion sizes. We hosted friends at the 2nd floor bar on Friday, the ceremony and reception on Saturday in the Juliette ballroom and a brunch on Sunday in the Etoile room on the 21st floor. Everything went flawlessly. The guests could not stop talking about how great the food was and how beautiful the views were. On the day of the wedding, the staff and Steve at LondonHouse were exceptional. Neither myself nor the groom noticed anything that went wrong- we completely believe this is due to how wonderful and professional LondonHouse staff are. Overall the best venue to host your wedding in Chicago.

Our wedding at the London House was truly magnificent. The facilities are elegant, the food and service were outstanding and everyone we worked with was extraordinary. Steve Sleczka, Director of Weddings, was in frequent contact with us throughout the planning process. His attention to detail and responsiveness were exceptional and we always felt we were in good hands. Steve guided us through every decision in a way that made things less overwhelming than they would otherwise have been – everything from food and beverage selections, linen selections, the room layout, the flow of the evening, and locations for the first look and other wedding photos. The hotel rooms are lovely and were reasonably priced for our event. The ballroom is beautiful and in an outstanding location overlooking the Chicago River. The menu was wonderful and we felt we had many great choices. Several wedding guests said that it was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding! We had a rainy day, but the photos taken in the Cupula and around the hotel against the backdrop of the hotel’s beautiful architectural elements turned out great. We arranged a brunch the next day for our overnight guests in Etoile on the 21st floor, and that was a wonderful way to relive the beautiful wedding. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The London House, Steve and staff are nothing short of exceptional.

WOW! “Amazing” is truly an understatement to describe our wedding reception at the LondonHouse.The venue is absolutely stunning and the service was impeccable. We had the honor and pleasure of working with Steve Sleczka who is one of the BEST wedding directors in Chicago. We couldn’t imagine planning our wedding without him! From the initial tour of the property – to our incredible tasting – to our dream wedding, Steve made sure everything was perfect. Our guests cannot stop raving about how spectacular our reception was and how delicious the food was. Danielle, the banquet manager, stayed until the conclusion of our reception to ensure our evening ran seamlessly. Danielle and her banquet staff were wonderful! The entire staff at LondonHouse was very attentive and professional. We felt so special during our entire stay and cannot wait to return for our anniversary for many years to come. We could not have had a more amazing experience for our November 2018 reception at LondonHouse. From the moment I met Steve Sleczka - I knew that the wedding was in the best hands. He even helped coordinate extra meetings with my parents and fiancé. Steve's professionalism and mastery of all things weddings helped planning and decision making a breeze. Each step was in the process was more amazing that the last culminating in the most perfect wedding day. Guests were completely in awe of the venue and accommodations. They are still talking about the fabulous views and food. We had a guest who was in the hotel and food industry in the US and Europe for decades who was very impressed by the food and service. We could not imagine having had our wedding day anywhere else.

Steve has so much valuable experience in the wedding industry, and he served as a trusted advisor throughout the process, going far beyond what is required of him in his role. In addition to Steve, LondonHouse has an outstanding banquet manager, Danielle, and incredible staff handling the room bookings, Wilson and Maria. They made things so easy for me. My husband and I are so happy we went with LondonHouse for our wedding venue. My husband and I wanted a downtown, wedding location that mirrored our modern yet classic, sophisticated, and cosmopolitan styles. The location, views, and outdoor entertaining areas are one-of-a-kind and speak for themselves. What sets LondonHouse apart, however, is the professionalism and enthusiasm that Steve and his team brought to the entire event. Whether it was working with our wedding coordinators (from a different company), obtaining more rooms for our guests, helping to coordinate timing and spacing so that our wedding day ran smoothly, patiently answering our questions, or simply grabbing us on the day of the wedding reception to ensure we stayed on schedule, Steve and his team were amazing partners in our special day. We could not imagine a better partner in planning and executing the most special day of our lives. In addition to Steve's excellence service, we would be remiss not to mention the presentation and quality of the food. Every aspect of our 4-course dinner and cocktail reception were presented exquisitely with the utmost attention to taste and flavor: every bite rivaled the best 5-star Chicago restaurant. We repeatedly heard from our guests how wonderful the food tasted and how easily the cocktails flowed from the cocktail through the extended late night hours (that we were allowed to decide on the day of the wedding!). Additionally, guests loved the rooms, views, location, and amenities of the hotel. We were lucky enough to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the LondonHouse, so all of our guests stayed at the hotel and enjoyed all that LondonHouse and Chicago has to offer. And, to top it off, our wedding photos in the cupola were STUNNING! Probably the best location for wedding photos. We are still in awe at how those came out way up there on the 26th floor. The Presidential Suite - WOW! There's not much to say beyond that. The views are phenomenal, the suite is expansive, and the entire space is literally fit for a president!My husband and I don't imagine that we will get married again, but if we did we would certainly head back to Steve at the LondonHouse! Maybe for our 10th wedding anniversary?!?!

There are so many venue options in Chicago but the second that my husband and I saw the LondonHouse we knew we found the venue for our wedding. I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail.We provided our guests with gift bags and the staff did a wonderful job ensuring that everyone received their bag at check in. In addition, the bridal suite was stunning. It had two large rooms, two bathrooms, a large master suite, and a big kitchen. We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding and the attentiveness of the staff. The food is excellent compared to standard wedding food. LondonHouse is an excellent option and you will be in great hands. The entire team makes you feel taken care of. What a wonderful memory and experience!

My husband and I are so happy we went with LondonHouse for our wedding venue. We initially picked LondonHouse not only for its beautiful location, decor, and views, but also because of their director of weddings, Steve. At our initial meeting with Steve, his professionalism and attention to detail, combined with his extensive knowledge and experience, convinced us that LondonHouse was the way to go. Right we were! Throughout the planning process he was very responsive and patient. On our wedding weekend, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, and we heard from many of our guests that it was the best wedding they had attended. LondonHouse was a great decision and we would recommend it to everyone!

Our wedding was a dream come true!! LondonHouse incorporated so much into the wedding package that it instantly took several aspects like Cake, Caterers etc off my plate. Steve is an absolute god send - He was so kind and sweet and funny through the whole process, was quick to respond whenever I had a question and took control of our rehearsal and day of. Everyone kept telling us that we weren't going to eat - Steve made sure that was not the case, while we greeted tables he would come and grab us so we would eat each course, and kept us apprised of everything that was going on and what was coming up next - we didn't even have to think about a thing just enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and each other. I don't think I can do enough justice for LondonHouse, the food was amazing, the ceremony and reception were stunning, and the flow was seamless in the transition from reception to cocktail hour and flipping the room. Again Steve was pivotal in our experience as he checked in and guided the guys and girls throughout the day to ensure we stayed on schedule and if there ever was a hiccup - I certainly did not know about it as he took care of everything. Such an amazing experience, and Steve and LondonHouse truly cater to your needs and vision and make it all come true! I wish I could do it all over again.

Catherine and I were united in marriage at the LondonHouse on September 22,2018. It was the most memorable evening in our lives. From the first time we met with Steve Sleczka we knew we were in the right place. Steve walked us through every step of the process with ease. The service that he provided to us and to each of our guests was remarkable. We had a small wedding of 60 people and the Etoile room was wonderful for our reception. We were in the Ambia room for the wedding service. Each room was well suited for our guests. The private balcony of the Etoile room and wonderful views of the Chicago River mesmerized our guests. The hotel staff were very helpful in getting our guests check in and made each guest feel special. The menu that Steve helped up pick out was fabulous. Our guests were amazed and stated that the food from the appetizers to the dessert was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The special services that Steve made sure to share with us, such as the beautiful wedding suite and the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to end our evening, put us over the top with happiness. The LondonHouse and it's staff deserve to be recognized as the best.

And \"total professional\" best describes the hotel's Director of Weddings, Steve Sleczka!More than a year in advance of our daughter's special day, a ton of work was done by our wedding planner and our family, narrowing the field of suitable spots to host our anticipated 150 guests. While other types of facilities (e.g., lofts and clubs) were reviewed, our short list contained four household-name hotels and . . LondonHouse. Little did we know that this swanky, totally-rebuilt historic property was part of Hilton's Curio collection of luxury-lifestyle hotels.From our first contact with Mr. Sleczka, we knew we'd found something unique and truly special. Steve's greeting was warm and enthusiastic, and his tour of the hotel's facilities demonstrated a sense of pride in all that he and LondonHouse could offer. The sparkling architecture of the second-floor lobby with its spectacular views of the river and cityscape; the stylish upper ballrooms with still-better views; the beautiful, modern guest rooms and bridal suite; the rooftop bar with its renowned cupola (think wedding photos); these accommodations were like none other that we had visited. And, best of all, LondonHouse is at the corner of Michigan and Wacker! Needless to say, out-of-town and local guests alike could not have been more entertained with the locale during \"free\" time.Clearly, the LondonHouse facilities spoke for themselves and did influence us in contracting with them for our reception. But it was Steve Sleczka that sealed the deal. His ever-patient willingness to walk us through details like liquor and menu items, where to go for the best cake, seating suggestions, timing considerations for cocktail hour(s) and meal time, transportation to and from church; Steve was well versed in these and other items, and his counsel was invaluable. Though my involvement could not have matched that of my wife, daughter and our wedding planner, I can vouch for the prompt service and courtesy that each of us appreciated, from the very first meeting with Steve, to our wrapping up the typical details of final billing. A subject matter expert, Steve is organized, he's a great communicator, and he's fun to do business with. If I were blessed with another daughter, I'd do the whole thing over again exactly as we did it with Steve!Thank you.

We chose LondonHouse Chicago because of its central location, beautiful views and the professionalism of their Director of Weddings, Steve Sleczka. We wanted our out of town guests to have a total Chicago experience and we found it at LH. We have received an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the food, service, venue and attention to detail. The entire staff at LondonHouse Chicago was without a doubt top notch. Steve from Day 1 of planning through our wedding day was extremely helpful. Every email answered, questions addressed, schedules laid out and he made the whole wedding day 100% worry free. We wanted our out of town guests to have a total Chicago experience and we found it at LH. We have received an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the food, service, venue and attention to detail. The entire staff at LondonHouse Chicago was without a doubt top notch. This review starts and ends with the unbelievable experience that Steve Sleczka provided for our May 2018 wedding reception at the LondonHouse. From our first meeting till late in the day of our wedding, Steve gave us confidence that we made the right choice and he was there to guide us along the way. Having a truly experienced expert helping us through the process of planning and execution was a true blessing. Now, moving beyond Steve, we also need to complement Maria Cisneros who helped handle the many reservations of our out of town guests. She was great to deal with and helped make sure there were no issues with all of our guests getting their rooms. With all the great service talked about, now time to talk about the food! The food and beverage team aims to serve high-end restaurant quality food and they delivered. From the great choices available for guests, to the tasting to make sure we chose the right selections, they were there for us. The number of complements we received on the food from our wedding were quite numerous. I think it is also important to mention all the less recognized perks that came with hosting our wedding at the LondonHouse. First, the Bridal Suite was incredible. Second, the upgraded rooms that our parents received were greatly appreciated along with the \"VIP\" service they received from Steve and the whole team at the hotel. Finally, if you have a lot of out of town guests, you can't go wrong with the location and all the features of the LondonHouse. It is safe to say our guests were really impressed with the view from the roof and their entire experience at the hotel. THANK YOU STEVE AND THANK YOU LONDONHOUSE FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE WEDDING!

Benjamin and I got married on February 10th 2018. Steve was the most memorable person of our experience. He was absolutely amazing. We did not hire a wedding planner, and we didn't need to. Steve did everything he could to make our day perfect. The amount of effort he put it in deserves recognition beyond what I can write in this review. Not only did he take care of me and my husband but he made sure all our family was taken care of. Steve is a very genuine, caring, enthusiastic man willing to put in one hundred percent to make your day better than you could expect. :)

I could never have imagined a more perfect venue for my wedding!! We got married on 11/11/2017 and everything was absolutely amazing. On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. The service, food, and attention to detail was AMAZING. We worked exclusively with Joy and she made sure that all our requests were taken care of. Each staff that worked the wedding knew about our requests for the evening and were eagerly anticipating any additional requests throughout the night, it was just perfect. The food served was beyond amazing. I was a little nervous that the food presented to us at our tasting would not taste the same (serving for 5 people versus serving for over 150), but we got so many compliments on the food and how delicious it was! Our food was definitely the best wedding food we have ever had in our history of weddings and the presentation just added to how great it was - have you ever not wanted to eat a wedding salad because it just looked so pretty? The venue itself is just gorgeous and the views from the ballroom and the cocktail hour space cannot be topped. We wish we could do the night all over again, it was truly the most amazing space and staff that helped create the best day ever.

My September wedding and reception at the London House was a dream come true. Steve Sleczka is a bride's best friend. He was on point with his communication with me throughout the entire process, he handled the behinds the scenes items with grace, and he was a delight for all of the wedding party and vendors to work with. Personally having a hospitality background I had eyes on , every detail, but Steve somehow managed to anticipate any needs or questions we had and always provided a logical and efficient solution. I wish I could work with him all the time, he is that pleasant. Steve going above and beyond doesn't even cover it, this guy works his rear off and that is hard to find! As far as the rest of the staff at the London House, everyone was super attentive and helpful. I worked with Maria in the reservations department and she also went above and beyond to make sure my out of town guests were taken care of and the reservations were correct. The space is really event friendly, they did a beautiful job setting everything up, it flowed beautifully and can be transformed into whatever your vision you have. Nothing beats the views at this place! Honestly! There are so many photo ops in various locations. We had a lot of out of town guests and they were all excited to see spectacular 360 city views. Even after 2 months, I still am getting comments from my gusts on the food that was served at our reception. The menu selections were updated and unlike the traditional baquet food served at an event. On the day of the wedding, each dish was executed to perfection. People were raving about the food! We were also impressed at how the courses served in unison with their ample food and beverage staff. Presentation was beautiful and will not be forgotten. There is not one negative thing I can say about our experience at the London House, I only wish I could get re-married to my husband there once a month :)

I have over 30 years experience having worked at venues throughout the city as well as wedding planner experience doing weddings in other cities and countries. I have done over 600 weddings in my career.I helped open the hotel so I have been involved from the beginning to insure that every wedding is memorable and enjoyable. My only job here is handling the weddings so all of my attention is focused on the wedding couple and their families and friends.
