Longhorn Guest Ranch is a countryside wedding venue situated in Cascade, ID. Located on 214 acres of private Idaho farmland, this family-run Scottish Highland Cattle ranch provides celebrations with a mesmerizing and secluded backdrop. It offers a selection of exquisite event spaces, a dedicated service staff, and comfortable accommodations, making it an ideal spot for weekend weddings. For added convenience, it is only a 90-minute drive from Boise, perfect couples looking to escape the bustle of the big city to celebrate in peace and serenity. Longhorn Guest Ranch is owned and operated by Victoria and Jason Johnson. This husband-and-wife duo first visited the location in 2018 and was instantly taken with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. The decided that it would be the perfect place to relocate and help couples bring their wedding dreams to life. As a working cattle ranch, the venue radiates a feeling of authentic âold westâ charm whilst also being comfortable and peaceful. Guests are invited to explore the glorious natural surroundings and participate in a host of fun activities in the nearby mountains, lakes and rivers, including kayaking, horseriding, jetskiing, hot springs and more. At Longhorn Ranch, Victoria and Jason are committed to making planning your wedding a seamless and stress-free experience. With room for up to 200 guests, they offer a range of picturesque event spaces for every stage of your day. The Lodge offers a dance hall, dining area, and games room, and features stunning views overlooking the private valley. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in the meadow, and you are invited to bring tents for a covered outdoor celebration experience. The ranch can sleep up to 30 overnight guests in total, with accommodations including the main lodge, 9 private cabins, new glamping tents and the Silverado honeymoon cabin. A weekend package is available and includes accommodations, full use of the ranchâs common areas, rehearsal dinner, and breakfast for overnight guests.

My daughterâs wedding at Longhorn Guest Ranch was absolutely the best wedding I have ever been to! The setting is stunning and the owners went over the top to make our weekend the best! It was a great way for us to get to know the grooms family! The weekend was full of happy memories in a beautiful setting! I loved it!

We just had our wedding in June at The Long Horn Guest Ranch and I can barely put into words how amazing the whole weekend was! We live in South Carolina and knew we wanted to get married out west, after searching around, we stumbled upon the ranch on a few wedding websites. From the moment I talked to Victoria, the owner, I knew I just had to have my wedding here. Both Victoria and her husband Jason were so helpful, kind, and easy going...they truly went above and beyond to make our weekend at the ranch perfect! All of the cabins and common areas were very clean and so well decorated. They set up activities for us and cooked delicious meals throughout our stay. Our friends who traveled from all over the country could not stop talking about how beautiful the scenery was, everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I can't think of a better place to have a wedding or destination event, thank you Victoria and Jason, y'all have created something so special!!

I can not speak more highly of Victoria and Jason at the Longhorn Guest Ranch! They were super accommodating and made sure we felt comfortable. The ranch is in impeccable condition and BEAUTIFUL. I wish we lived closer to visit again. This place should be the first on your list!! Not only are the views incredible but Jason and Victoria are the most down to earth people you will meet. Definitely recommend the Longhorn Guest Ranch!

There are no words to express how easy and accommodating Victoria and her family was to work with for my daughters wedding. I did all my daughters wedding planning from out of state and Victoria was very responsive during the entire time. Victoria was the key to making my daughters dream wedding come true. Forever grateful to the Longhorn Guest Ranch.

I attended a wedding here this summer and it was the most BEAUTIFUL scenery and picturesque grounds Iâve ever seen!!! Itâs obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their ranch and what they do. Because Iâm an event planner by trade, I tend to notice things most people donât. It was obvious that everything ran smoothly because the staff was attentive to the guests and made sure no detail was overlooked. What an amazing wedding! I would not only recommend this venue but personally use it for one of my events. Great job!

Victoria and Jason are the best hosts Iâve ever worked with! They are so accommodating and happy to do it! This is a PERFECT venue to get away from it all and unplug. What a remarkable experience James and I had. We decided to get âhitchedâ at the Longhorn Ranch, which was just perfect with our love for nature. We are from California and could not have dreamed of a more perfect setting for our vows. Nature was a gift like no other to celebrate. Owners Victoria and Jason went out of their way to make it a very special experience. We ventured to the near-by Cascade Lake one afternoon, to return to a wonderful relaxing ranch full of âold westâ charm. We will be highly recommending family and friends to enjoy this stress-free serene location that is easily accessible from Boise, Idaho. James and I cannot wait to go back, relax and soak up the ranch again.Thank you again!!!
