Longworth Gin Wedding and Event Center is a rustic wedding venue in Roby, TX. This property provides an industrial aesthetic to any couple’s romantic event. The indoor venue acts as a blank canvas, ready for you to customize to suit any nuptial theme. Longworth Gin Wedding and Event Center is located halfway between the cities of Roby and Sweetwater, and acts as a well-known landmark for locals. It has been open since 1973, and served local farmers as a productive cotton gin until 2007. Years later, the current owners, the Coker family, reopened it to the public for soon-to-be-weds to exchange their vows among the pastoral backdrop. Inside the warehouse-style venue features an open-floor space for up to 300 guests to dine, drink and dance. String lights, exposed beams, and a spiral staircase to the mezzanine floor add elegance to the bucolic atmosphere, complementing any couple’s unique style. Idyllic cotton fields surround the venue, giving you and your wedding party plenty of opportunities for unique photo sessions. You will have a variety of wedding packages to choose from, each designed to suit romantic events of any size. The team behind Longworth will work with you to create the venue of your dreams whether you prefer an indoor or outdoor celebration. The entire property has wheelchair accessibility, to ensure all your guests can be with you as you enjoy your first moments as newlyweds.
