Loon Pond Lodge at Ted Williams Camp Reviews
James Jenner(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-09-2019 My wife & I had our wedding & reception at Loon Pond Lodge. We were so overwhelmed & impressed with the entire facility. Nicole and her staff were exceptional. The 1 day in your life that you want to be perfect was jyst that because of the amazing experience we had. Nicole and her staff were very professional and accommodating. They were attentive and caring. They made sure to be available for our needs and attention. We were able to customize our wedding to our likes and the staff made sure to support us in that. They were exceptionally attentive to answering our queries and making themselves available. The venue itself is beautiful. The background of a lake with the sunshine and landscape was perfect. The gazebo was awesome. The inside function room was perfe5. We were able to decorate how we wanted and the space itself with the exposed beams and natural light was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and Smores. We can't recommend loon pond lodge more and hope you all have the same awesome experience we had! Reviewed on 03-02-2020
Amanda Hallam(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-10-2018 When we originally booked this venue, Mary Beth was the manager. She was unremarkable, but we didn't think much of it. She was able to help us find a caterer and she recommended a day-of coordinator (who we later relieved of her duties so I won’t mention her name here). Sometime last year, Nicole took over as the new venue manager. Do you ever get that feeling where you don't know you're missing something until you find it? Nicole is AMAZING, and she was the missing piece we needed. Last fall, a solid year before our event, I asked Nicole if she happened to be in the office that day because my parents wanted to see the venue. She said she could be there at X time (okay, fine) and then later told me she was running a few minutes late, the ferry got delayed. Wait, what?!? She had come back from Martha's Vineyard just to let us in for a viewing. She simply said, this is important to you and you should be able to do it. My parents and I were floored. And she didn't make it a thing, barely mentioned it. This is Nicole in a nutshell. She is so selfless, thoughtful, and hardworking that no matter what event brings you to the Loon Pond Lodge, you will have a wonderful experience. Fast forward to a few months before our reception, when Nicole stepped in as our day of coordinator because she understood that our vision was less traditional wedding reception, more (as she put it) \"choreographed event.\" She was able to pull all of our ideas and elements together and make them flow into a day that was nothing short of perfection. So many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we owe so much of that success to Nicole. We seriously cannot thank her enough. Reviewed on 12-11-2018
Michelle Roberts(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2018 We recently had our wedding and reception at Loon Pond Lodge. It is such an amazing venue. Not only is it reasonably priced, it is a beautiful space. The outdoor gazebo served as the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. We rented out both rooms for the entire day and it was perfect. We had time to get in and set up in the morning, a separate space for our cocktail hour, and enough space for people to decompress if they needed to. The morning of the wedding it was pouring out - Nicole was so amazing - she assured me that everything would go smoothly and not to worry. She was right! I cannot say enough great things about Nicole - she had the day running smoothly, she made sure that I was well taken care of through the night, getting me water, making me a plate of food, even checking in on my kids to make sure they had eaten enough and were doing ok. We requested her and Laurie to work the event and we couldn't have been happier. They served a very thirsty crowd with ease. I am still getting calls and texts about what a great wedding it was, how beautiful the venue was, what an over all great time. Thank you again!! Reviewed on 31-10-2018
Leah Roberge(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2017 Loon Pond Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. My husband and I really loved the venues with the water views, but not the price tag that came with them. Loon Pond was a great find for us and was so affordable. It was exactly what we wanted! The gazebo in front of the pond makes for the perfect ceremony site. The lodge itself is awesome, with the string lights on the ceiling beams, and it being nice and open. Nicole was a pleasure to work with and was VERY responsive to questions and emails. My only advice is to make sure you have someone to set up decorations for you on the day of because you can only decorate on the day of the event. Reviewed on 19-10-2017

Laura Crumley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-07-2016 Beautiful space and very affordable. They have an gazebo overlooking the pond which was perfect for our ceremony. The recently remodeled inside was beautiful and we were able to reserve it in case of a rainy day, but we had our reception outside in the tent. It was perfect! Marybeth was so easy to work with and their vendors are great! Reviewed on 22-07-2016
Lynne MacDonald(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2016 The venue is really pretty and Marybeth was great to work with. Prices were very reasonable since it is owned by the town. Reviewed on 05-07-2016
Amber Zablowsky(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2013 This building was just redone and came out beautiful. The camp is right on a lake with an outdoor area with gazebo. The banquet hall was spacious with gorgeous exposed beams. Everyone there was very helpful and they allowed us to set up the day before, which was extremely helpful. Beautiful grounds and view, a couple of our guests even went swimming! Reviewed on 17-07-2013
