In 1907, the Loose Mansion was masterfully designed by Ella and Jacob Loose to host Kansas City’s most exquisite affairs. Today, this fully restored mansion with a remarkable history is still home to the most elegant of evenings. We are so much more than a traditional venue. This was a truly excellent experience. My wedding was perfect!! Not only was the venue itself beautiful, but the staff were amazing as well. Chris was the real star, she kept me sane and on task during such a stressful time. I also want to shout out the kitchen staff, who made sure our food was incredible but also helped us out when we needed it the next day (which they didn't have to do!). The price may seem high, but considering how I saved stress AND money due to the venue's all-inclusive nature, it was definitely the right choice. While this is a five star review for a five star experience, my ONLY suggestion would be to provide some sort of emergency number in case something gets misplaced after the event ends. Still, this was PERFECT and I would recommend Loose to anyone who asked!!

This was a truly excellent experience. My wedding was perfect!! Not only was the venue itself beautiful, but the staff were amazing as well. Chris was the real star, she kept me sane and on task during such a stressful time. Our reception was absolutely perfect thanks to the amazing team at Loose Mansion. So many of our guests told us not only how much they loved the uniqueness and beauty of the venue but also how accommodating and kind the staff were. We had several dietary needs, including a severe peanut and soy allergy, so they were careful with planning the menu and ensuring signs were out to depict what allergens were present in which dish. I wanted a stress-free and easy day to fully enjoy it, and that is exactly what I got!

Loose Mansion was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! We fell in love with it on our first visit when touring the mansion and meeting the wonderful staff. On our wedding day, everything was flawless and extremely prompt down to the small details and needs of the bride and groom. Doing your wedding with Loose Mansion means having their expert coordinating staff on your team - this was invaluable to our wedding planning experience and we opted to not have a third-party day-of coordinator because of this. It was no surprise when the reception went exactly according to plan! A special thanks and shoutout to Chris, our amazing Loose Mansion coordinator!Everything looked amazing and all our guests had a wonderful time. The only “bump in the road” we had with the planning process was a change in food and beverage pricing. The prices that were presented when we booked, that were within our budget, ending up raising closer to the wedding date. When we asked about this change, it was noted that food and drink pricing was subject to change in the contract. We noticed the price increase ourselves during the complementary meal tasting, as opposed to being notified by Loose Mansion, and unfortunately the original pricing was not able to be honored. That being said, the staff was still very flexible with us moving forward and we adjusted plans as needed to accommodate our budget. All things considered, we had a wonderful experience with Loose Mansion and would highly recommend them as a venue!

Choosing Loose Mansion for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. The staff, especially our day of coordinators Chris and Jess were absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond in so many ways I'm still learning about them from guests and family members 3 weeks after the wedding. Venue- stunning, food-delicious, staff- amazing. Everything was just so perfect for our day and it was truly because of Loose Mansion.

A big factor for us in choosing Loose Mansion was having an event space that aesthetically stood out on its own, while also having an in-house team that could handle the details in a way that took time, pressure, and stress off of us. Loose Mansion was near-perfect on these fronts. We did not hire a wedding planner nor day-of-coordinator in large because the staff at Loose Mansion took on those responsibilities and did so in a professional, competent manner. Several guests have told us they were impressed with the beauty of Loose Mansion as well as with how kind and courteous the staff was during the event. Given all of the in-house amenities Loose Mansion provides coupled with the excellent service and support provided by their team, we think this venue is high up on the value list compared to other venues we reached out to earlier in the wedding planning process. In sum, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Loose Mansion to family and friends!

I cannot say anything but nice things about the location and the staffing at Loose Mansion! The mansion is gorgeous by itself, but the friendly, flexible and welcoming staff are what truly set it apart. They were so wonderful about accommodating our needs to make our vision truly come to life! Chris, Karen and Abbey were always available to answer the many detailed questions that come with big events, and managed any bumps in the road with extreme grace.Our loved ones have been complimenting us non-stop on the event - as one of our guests said, \"you know the staffing is excellent when they manage everything so well you don't even realize that they're there!\" Their behind-the-scenes work made everything run incredibly smoothly. Wedding days can be stressful, but thanks to the people at Loose, we were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves. We did not have to lift a finger, as they took care of everything - including making sure that we (as the wedding couple) got to eat and had everything that we needed.Of course, the space itself is also gorgeous, and their internal decorations compliment it beautifully. Our gratitude to the staff at Loose - they ensured that our day was luxurious, beautiful, and just perfect, and I recommend them VERY highly!

We loved how easy the staff made the planning and our day run SO smoothly. This is one of the many reasons we chose Loose Mansion. Planning such a big event is overwhelming, but they resolved those concerns with taking care of all of the coordination except for some vendors which I had to find on my own (yet they still provide excellent recommendations). Everything ran smooth on our day. Incredibly organized and well executed. If something went wrong - I never knew. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding or corporate event.

Loose Mansion is THE venue for a couple who wants an out-of-the-box solution for their wedding! They have an all-inclusive package meaning food, decor, ceremony, reception, bar, music, and planning… EVERYTHING is handled through the mansion and their incredible professional staff. We had about a three month engagement and wanted a small intimate wedding where ourselves and friends and family didn’t have to lift a finger, but everything would be gorgeous and look like a luxury wedding - Loose made this completely possible on a short timeline and because of their incredible team, it took away so much of the usual stress of wedding planning. I have been a part of planning many weddings and truly believe that Loose has the best all inclusive venue for reasonable pricing and saves you and your loved ones all of the effort that goes into the work of many other venues - which at the end of the day is priceless. I highly recommend taking a look at the beauty this venue has to offer as well as their phenomenal food menus, bar selection, and take a chance to meet their wonderful staff! Karen and Abbey were so great to work with and made our wedding day such a peaceful, sweet day. We can’t thank Loose Mansion enough!!

Loose Mansion is a great venue, catering, decorating, and day-of coordinating business all rolled in to one! We did heavy appetizers for our wedding, and Loose Mansion was very accommodating to that idea. Every guest has mentioned how great the food was too! Chris was our day-of coordinator and she really helped so much not only by scheduling a planning meeting for us to go over major details 6 months out, but also being extremely helpful on the wedding day. She did an incredible job making sure I didn’t have to worry about anything, and we both greatly appreciate her help! Another huge plus for me was the fact that they let you use all the decorations they already have, which really helped us save money on the little things. Also, for brides who either don’t care about flowers or are concerned with how much they cost, the beautiful internal decor and loads of candles meant we didn’t need any floral decorations at all! Of course if you do want flowers, they will only further enhance the beauty of the space!

Everyone is so kind and helpful! Chris and Abbey made our wedding planning easy and stress-free. The food was delicious (the brisket empanadas and frozen margaritas were a huge hit!) and everyone we met or worked with was so wonderful! I can't recommend Loose Mansion enough! Our wedding day was perfect and it was largely in part to everyone at Loose!

Loose Mansion was absolutely amazing! The venue is beautiful, the staff is responsive, friendly and helpful, and the food is great - you can't go wrong choosing this place! They truly are an all-inclusive venue that offers food, drinks, decor, sound system, event planning and coordination, making the wedding planning process seamless. My husband and I had to plan our wedding from out of town, but this was not an issue. Our event coordinators, Chris and Karen, made sure that every aspect of our wedding was taken care of down to the smallest details so that the day of, we literally just got to enjoy the day. Our experience with Loose Mansion was amazing from start to finish. The space is beautiful, the food and drinks were on point, and the staff were delightful. We were planning our wedding from out of town, and it was so helpful to be able to reach out to the LM staff for so many parts of the planning process, from food to decor and beyond. Our original coordinator left only a few weeks before our date, which would be a concern at other venues, but Chris jumped right in and made sure the transition was as smooth as possible.We truly didn't have to lift a finger on the day of the wedding. Chris even made it a point to track down our shuttle driver when we heard there was an issue with one of the pickups from the hotel, and Barbara came in clutch with a Shout wipe when I was about to walk down the aisle and a mysterious stain appeared on the front of my dress. It was truly such a gift to be able to relax and enjoy our day! Plus, our guests are still talking about what an amazing time they had. We would wholeheartedly recommend Loose Mansion to anyone planning a wedding in the KC area!

This venue was nothing short of exquisite. The venue itself is so classy and elegant. The food is like eating at a 4-5 star restaurant. The attention to detail from all of the staff makes the event and planning process a breeze. We loved staying at the carriage house as well! Had all the amenities and was tastefully decorated and clean. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this venue. They take great care of you and your family and provide 5 star service from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out.

When looking for wedding and reception venues, we wanted a place that was all-inclusive. We didn’t want to have to look for vendors or ask anyone else for help with things. We searched and found Loose Mansion and absolutely fell in love. Having our wedding at Loose Mansion was the best decision we ever made. It’s so beautiful and elegant! The venue matched my dress perfectly. You don’t need much to spruce up your event either. It’s perfect. The whole process was made easy because of the staff. They were easy to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. When we felt stressed about making decisions, they had no problem with narrowing things down for an easier decision. Abbey, Abby, and Karen were very attentive and were always there to answer any questions we had.The day of our wedding was perfect. It was so calm. Abbey and Karen made sure everything and everyone was in order. We literally didn’t have to lift a finger. The food was amazing! The atmosphere was amazing. Everything was perfect. We can’t thank the team at Loose Mansion enough for their help with our wedding. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

When looking for wedding and reception venues, we wanted a place that was all-inclusive. We didn’t want to have to look for vendors or ask anyone else for help with things. We searched and found Loose Mansion and absolutely fell in love. Having our wedding at Loose Mansion was the best decision we ever made. It’s so beautiful and elegant! My husband and I were married at Loose Mansion 11/5/2022. We could not be happier with the entire process! I was very overwhelmed by the planning process and had very little free time for planning due to my job, so Loose Mansion's all-inclusive approach was very important to us and my anxiety was relieved as soon as we booked. Chris Fabarez was our point of contact, she expertly walked me through every step of the planning, she was always incredibly organized, and she truly made the whole experience so easy and wonderful. Loose Mansion is by far the best wedding venue in Kansas City. My husband and I moved to Kansas City two months after getting engaged, being new to the city I was a bit overwhelmed trying to locate the best venue. Places we thought we would love based on their prices and websites, fell short after the tour. After working out logistics, we realized it may be more cost & time-efficient to seek out an event space that specialized in weddings, and boy did we luck out. When we found Loose Mansion and toured with Abbey C, we immediately fell in love and knew we found what we were looking for. The building is very well maintained and gorgeous, because of this there is no need to go crazy on flowers and other decorative items. One of the many benefits with choosing Loose Mansion is you will save money on decor; you have access to their fully stocked decoration storage room. The entire mansion looked gorgeous thanks to all the decor they had on-site and we didn’t pay a cent! The other benefit with choosing Loose Mansion is their menu. My husband and I are foodies, so we were really impressed and excited when we got to sample some of their food items. They have such a wide variety that it was hard for us to choose what we wanted for our wedding. My mother and I stayed in their carriage house the night before our wedding and had a memorable evening. The morning after, my bridesmaids came to the carriage house and we all got ready together, Abby and crew made sure we were well stocked up on snacks & seating. The staff was gracious and attentive in supplying us with whatever last minute or unusual requests we needed. The best part of Loose Mansion for us was our wedding coordinator Chris Fabarez. She was absolutely amazing! Chris made our wedding day so memorable and smooth. It’s been a month since our wedding and our family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had and how professional and lovely Chris was. My husband and I will definitely use Loose Mansion again for any future events, and we will recommend them to anyone!

First, let me say this is a beautiful place for a wedding from the rich woodwork and multiple chandeliers to the fireplace mantles and décor. Every room offers a gorgeous backdrop to your wedding photos. Abbey and Chris were the best to work with and very professional. Abbey gave us our first tour and Chris guided us through every planning detail. The day of the wedding, we could relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was taken care of , the food was delicious, and our guests also complimented the venue saying it was the prettiest wedding they have attended. Choosing Loose Mansion is one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. The space is obviously gorgeous, but it's the event team that made it really spectacular. When my husband and I started planning our top priorities were the guest experience, delicious food, and minimizing stress for us and our family throughout wedding planning. As soon as we set foot in Loose Mansion for an open house my husband was sold. Everything we tasted during the open house and later at food tasting was absolutely delicious. Their staff was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the process. We loved how turn-key the planning process was because it made planning much less stressful. Having food, drinks, and decor all managed by the venue significantly simplified planning. The space is so beautiful as it is that we decided to just add some greenery and lean heavily on the decor they provide as part of the package instead of spending a lot on florals. As our wedding approached we had full confidence that the Loose Mansion team would execute our vision flawlessly. The day of our wedding we were able to relax and enjoy the day. They made sure that we were able to eat dinner and checked in to see if we wanted any more drinks or dessert throughout the evening. Everything was seamless and many of our guests commented that they really enjoyed the food. We had the best day and would choose Loose Mansion again in a heartbeat. You can tell that the owner, Barbara, and the whole Loose Mansion team really know what they are doing and care about their clients.

Loose Mansion made the planning and execution of a perfect wedding day absolutely seamless. Our coordinator made sure everything was covered throughout the planning process and day of the wedding so I didn't have to stress. Honestly, I'd get married at Loose Mansion every weekend if I could. My groom feels the same way. We received so many compliments on our day- from \"The food was amazing!\" to \"The mansion is gorgeous and has so much detail\" and everything in between. Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they've attended in a long time. Loose took our vision and made the day a literal dream come true. It was so nice not worrying about outside catering or hauling in decorations, because they have so many in-house accommodations. We even had their ice cream sundae bar as our dessert instead of cake! Aside from having everything we could ever want available to us for the wedding, our coordinator also handled the stressful situations so I could relax as a bride. Everything I needed was taken care of in abundance. I felt like a princess not only because of my bridal appearance, but by how I was treated by all of Loose. You will be extremely pleased and satisfied with the work they do, and will have memories of the day to last forever.

Loose Mansion is a beautiful Venue. I made multiple changes with my contract and they were more than happy to do all the updates. I made sure the wedding was how I wanted it. During our rehearsal they were so good with children and helping our ring bearer and flower girl out. They reached out to all our vendors and had everything placed where I wanted them to be. There's a padlock to the brides and grooms suite so we knew everything was secured. The dinner service was amazing. The food is delicious and the appetizers is amazing. Also, after the event ended they helped move all the things we needed downstairs so we can put it in the car. Would recommend this venue

We had to plan most of our wedding remotely since I wasn’t in town and Loose Mansion made it feel just like I was there all the time. They sent us detailed videos and we did zoom calls to make all decisions. They gave us recommendation for vendors which was very helpful. The planning was very smooth, and the wedding day was as smooth as the planning, both Abbey C., and Abby D were welcoming our guests and making sure that no one needs anything. The venue’s setting were exactly how we wanted them to be, and the food was amazing, and all of our guest loved it. Getting married at the Loose Mansion is something I highly recommend. There were so many positives with our experience with Loose Mansion, but let me give you the top three reasons we are so happy we worked with them for our wedding. 1. Amazing planning for couples who live out of town. We moved away from KC but it is my hometown, so that’s where we wanted our wedding to take place. From regular email communication, phone calls, and scheduled Zooms, they kept the lines of communication open and updated. It embodies my favorite elements of Kansas City’s architecture and the interior is just stunning with carved wood staircases and mantles, stonework, beautiful fireplaces, and so many special details. A big part of our choosing Loose Mansion was because we didn’t want to spend a lot of our budget on decor and florals; Loose Mansion being stunning as is made this easy because nothing needed to be done to make it look beautiful. 3. Incredible support from the staff. Karen corresponded with us for months before the wedding, addressing questions, communicating with our vendors, and was indispensable on the day of the event. She arranged our (minimal) florals and made them look ten times better. She coordinated the day-of rehearsal for our wedding party. She was helpful and positive through every moment. Later, Caitlin stepped in for the reception til the end of the event and was also sweet and so helpful. If you want your wedding to feel timeless, special, and for it to take place in a gem of a KC mansion, book Loose Mansion— especially if you live out of time and need support work the planning.

There were so many positives with our experience with Loose Mansion, but let me give you the top three reasons we are so happy we worked with them for our wedding. 1. Amazing planning for couples who live out of town. We moved away from KC but it is my hometown, so that’s where we wanted our wedding to take place. From regular email communication, phone calls, and scheduled Zooms, they kept the lines of communication open and updated. Our wedding this past weekend was better than I envisioned. As an out of state bride, this venue and the Loose Mansion team made everything go so smoothly. They are prepared for it all, and they made me feel so confident that my day would be special. It was really important for me to choose a place that had a place for me to get ready on sight, where I could have the reception and ceremony in the same venue and they made the food! I didn't have to think about bringing in caterers or decor - seriously stress-free. They accommodated all of my requests, including having the bartenders craft a speciality cocktail created by my sister. We couldn't do photos outside because of the weather and the team effortlessly helped us change plans to do them inside. The guests were so happy, it was such a convenient location from the plaza. I would recommend this venue and their team to any Kansas City bride and/or groom.

My wife and I recently held our wedding there, and after having done wedding photography for 11 years, it was honestly one of the most seamless, effortless weddings I've ever been involved with in any capacity.First off, the venue itself is gorgeous and well-kept. It practically decorates itself, and if you're any fan of the series Downton Abbey, this building will appeal to your aesthetic (if Kansas City had a version of The Breakers mansion built by the Vanderbilts in Rhode Island, it would be Loose Mansion). It's evocative of a bygone era, but has all the modern appointments one could need for any event.Second, the venue can provide you with nearly everything you'd ever need to put on a wedding: food, booze, photos, sound/media/DJ equipment, staff, coordination, all of it. While we only ended up utilizing their in-house catering options, being able to rely on the staff for setup, tear-down, and coordination across the board was invaluable. The food was **incredible** across the entire menu, and I highly recommend using it because you'll get more for your money with that option than you will with any other caterer. One thing that stuck out to me about the building itself was the vast number of bathrooms it has (literally over a dozen of them across several floors).Third, the venue itself is in an area that's quite conveniently located (close to Westport, the Plaza, and even downtown), which made getting places around the wedding weekend much, much easier for everyone involved. Parking was not an issue at all, as their lot was large enough to accommodate everyone with space leftover for more if we needed it.Finally, above all, the expenditure for all of this was well worth it in the end. We paid far less to have more organization and a better overall experience than we probably would've received at any other venue, and with other vendors for the various wedding aspects combined.And this was all in the midst of a pandemic, with only 4 months of planning.

The Loose Mansion was the perfect venue for our Big Day. The mansion looked great with decorations, the food was delicious, and the bar was flowing. The staff was professional, prompt and catered to our requests. Loose Mansion offers to handle all those little details with decorating, setup, tear down, staging, etc., that you don't have to worry about. That is a huge plus to have so many details taken care of and you get pick in the initial meeting. The price was very fair for the value we received. Loose Mansion was the only wedding venue my husband and I toured because we knew that was the only place we wanted to get married from the second we stepped in the door. The ambiance is unmatched and the natural decor (especially the fireplaces, mahogany grand staircase, and chandeliers) is absolutely stunning. The Loose Mansion staff does an outstanding job of making you feel like your event is the only one they are coordinating, although we all know that’s not the case. It didn’t matter if I was communicating with Abby, Abbey, Barb, or Karen - every response I received was prompt, professional, and overly accommodating. We reached out to Loose Mansion within weeks of our wedding (after we already had a meeting to finalize details) with concerns about the surge in COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City area. They immediately responded with alternative layout suggestions to consider to increase social distancing among guests and were more than willing to make these changes for us in such a short time period. The wedding planning experience was made SO easy thanks to the Loose Mansion staff. Abby was our main point of contact throughout the process and we can not say enough about her caring, thorough, and personable approach to coordinating our event. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and so much more! Guests raved about the Oscar-style layout, the amazing hor d'oeuvres (meatballs, flatbreads, spin-art mac & cheese bite), entrees (salmon, beef tenderloin, boursin stuffed chicken breast, vegetable wellington), desserts (cheesecake, chocolate indulgence), and frozen margaritas. Finding a wedding venue that is truly “all in” with every aspect (including planning, decor, and catering) is very rare, but that is exactly what you get with Loose Mansion. We can not emphasize enough our positive and seamless experience with everyone at Loose Mansion and could not have envisioned a more perfect place to host such a special event!

Every request was met with “sure, we can make that work.” I’ll never forget how you stayed with us during Covid and our need to reschedule. I heard horror stories about other vendors, but you were simply amazing. I will be forever grateful. I also wanted you to know how wonderful the vendors are that you recommended. Every single one of them stayed with us and did not charge us a single extra penny for postponing. They reflected the leadership tone you set, also being unfailing responsive and helpful. I can only imagine how tremendously difficult these last 18 months have been for you. But you never let it show to us. You had our backs every step of the way and it gave us so much confidence that we could still have a special celebration, even in the midst of Covid.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.I can't recommend Loose more highly. For those who are wondering about an \"all in\" vendor, I found this greatly simplified the planning and was probably less expensive than going with separate vendors. Researching, hiring and especially coordinating vendors took the most time in our planning. Having one stop shopping with Loose was wonderful. The mansion itself is also gorgeous with marble, a gorgeous staircase and Tiffany chandeliers. In addition, we didn't spend any money on flowers or decorations because Loose has an entire huge room filled with decorations to choose from. Both Abbys and Barabara were wonderful to work with. We had to postpone the wedding and then faced a big Covid surge right before the re-scheduled event. They kept us up to date on all developments and helped ensure we had an unforgettable event. This place is a gem!Finally, my daughter, her finance and her finance's family all lived in New York. Loose has many ways to communicate across the miles and their inability to be physically present for most of the planning did not create any issues.

I was robbed at my own wedding.Despite hiring security from the venue and being assured of my safety and security by the staff, I was robbed at my own wedding.Robbed by someone who knew exactly what entrance to use to be avoided by guests. Who knew exactly how to walk through staff areas without notice. Who knew exactly where the bridal suite was. Who knew when I and my bridesmaids would be busy taking photos. Who knew the external keypad lock on my bridal suite door was nonfunctional and really just for show. Someone who was able to swipe all the wallets in the bridal suite within a 10 minute window ( know this due to security footage).They were able to spend a significant sum before we even knew what happened. The venue is currently taking no responsibility for what happened. We paid for security and the venue failed us in that. They truly don't seem to care at all and didn't even reach out to me after it happened. No emails or calls of \"I'm so sorry\" I had to email them first in order to get any response. Not only was a significant amount stolen but so was our wedding night. I'll never get that back. Instead of being blissfully happy with my husband, I ended up crying, filing a police report and calling all our banks, credit cards, etc until 3 am. It didn't stop there either, we spent the next week on hold for hours trying to replace IDs and insurance cards. Taking time off of work to spend our day waiting around at the DMV.I post this to warn others. To my knowledge, nothing is being done to prevent this from happening again. No one deserves to be robbed at their own wedding. Please heed this warning and do not book an event at the Loose Mansion.

They really listened to what I said I wanted and caught small details that some venues could easily miss (my sister is allergic to tree nuts and they realized almonds were in our salad!). Loose Mansion was a dream!! Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful but the staff was outstanding to work with. We had so many compliments on the venue, staff, and food. The LM staff was very accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was so nice to not have to worry about setting up/cleaning up the day of our wedding. I can't thank them enough for making our dream wedding come true!! Abby was super knowledgeable and helped take away the stress of planning a wedding. 1000% would recommend this venue!!!

The Loose Mansion is not only beautiful the team there is truly amazing. After postponing our wedding several times due to COVID we decided to have a small ceremony with just our closest family. For ease of travel for my new in-laws we chose Kansas City, a place neither of us had been to, nor would we get to visit before the ceremony. The team at LM helped me plan our ceremony and dinner for 15 from start to finish, including all the details of decor, custom menu, music, etc. They also provided a list of vendors they had worked with in the past (all of which reassured me LM was beautiful since I hadn't seen the place in person yet) and I was able to create all our florals, cake, transportation, photography, hair, and makeup from New York, which the team then helped coordinate on the day of. I really can't recommend the Loose Mansion enough!

Loose Mansion is the most beautiful venue! Once we toured and met the staff, we knew this was THE place to have the ceremony and reception for my son and daughter-in-law. Everyone we came in contact with was so gracious and helped us through any and all questions or issues that arose. All of my emails and phone calls were answered so promptly! Even though everyone did have to wear a mask and have their temperature taken, it all went beautifully! If you are looking for a venue with character and charm, this is the place for you. I joked that the Loose Mansion team provided us with an \"all-inclusive\" wedding, but it is very true - they have every detail down to a fine art that removed a lot of stress from us during planning and especially the day of. Some highlights: The team at Loose Mansion can not be matched - every single person we interacted with was very professional and fun in all stages of the wedding planning process. Their attentiveness to details made it feel like our wedding was special and important to them as well as us. They provided us with infinite options and were very flexible to our requests (i.e. we wanted to have a specific ice cream for dessert at our reception and they kept them in the freezer/served them). We appreciated that they were upfront about price changes as we made changes to the plan and had no hidden fees or surprises. We were able to have our dream wedding at Loose Mansion, thanks to the staff and the beautiful venue, without breaking our budget. Loose Mansion was a gorgeous setting for our wedding and reception. We were able to have an all-inclusive experience, as Loose Mansion provides delicious food, wedding planning, and a concierge-like experience. I felt very well taken care of all throughout the planning process, and on the day. Even with Loose Mansion doing all of the coordinating on the day, I was still able to put my creative vision into the wedding and have a day I truly wanted. I had no need to hire outside catering and the buffet style that we chose was delicious. Many of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. I also didn't have to hire an outside DJ because Loose Mansion allowed me to create my own music playlist for the ceremony and reception, and they played what I wanted, when I wanted it. Our guests were never off the dance floor the entire night, it was so much fun. I would definitely recommend Loose Mansion for anyone who wants less fuss, but also wants an elegant setting steeped in KC history.

GOSH! When trying to review such an amazing venue, I am honestly at a loss for words. Loose Mansion left us completely speechless in the best way. This old, romantic, historic home and LM's staff can truly create the event of your dreams. It was the best decision my (now) husband and I made during the wedding planning process -- other than marrying each other! HA!Whether it be elegant and refined feel, or quirky, goofy, and fun feel, LM can do it ALL! The Mansion has the most intimate feel, yet it can accommodate many guests for quite the shindig! PLUS, the mansion has a beautiful love story interwoven through its walls! You can truly feel all the love and history in the home. I just kept telling my husband that it has to be good luck that we are getting married in a home that was built in so much love.We truly loved the entire planning process. Brad and Charlotte made everything as easy and smooth as they could - while staying completely patient with our fickle decision making. Not very many brides can say the planning was not stressful, but I can confidently tell you that with the LM staff at your side, you will not be stressed! I had tons of family members and friends say \"you seem all too calm to be the bride\" throughout the planning process and even on the week and day of!Loose also has the most delicious food with such a wide variety of menu choices. We ended up choosing the plated meal option, and our dinner was plated so beautifully! My mom and I also loved that their beautiful décor was included in their package. We didn't need to make any crazy Hobby Lobby runs for final touches or anything of the sort.I could go on and on, but what I want to leave the reader with is this: you will not be disappointed. They offer catering (which is delicious), decorations (that are absolutely perfect) and help execute the most perfect day you could imagine. We absolutely loved working with this venue! We had our reception here and there was absolutely no stress! Everything down to the last detail was taken care of, so we could just enjoy the wedding! Working multiple jobs and being in school, there was a huge concern of whether or not we would be able to pull it all together...then we visited Loose Mansion! They worked with all of the vendors and it was a seamless transition! We had two criteria 1) the food had to be good 2) the dance floor had to be big enough for our wild group. Holy smokes, I’m still talking about their bow-tie pasta! It was SO good! We are so thankful for them!

My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Loose Mansion! It’s an incredibly beautiful place with a fantastic team. With our 90-person guest count, we enjoyed the entire ground floor for the ceremony and reception, basement room for cocktails, and both the bridal and groom suites during the day. Each room is decorated exquisitely and provided the exact elegant atmosphere we hoped to achieve for our wedding day. Abbey, Charlotte, and Brad are all seasoned professionals whose extensive experience ensured our day moved like clockwork. In the months leading up to our wedding, they responded to my many emails thoroughly and in a timely manner. Our design sessions were efficient, and we appreciated their input when we waffled on decisions. All of this planning, along with their work with our external vendors, led to a smooth wedding day. As Loose Mansion has a full kitchen staff, we utilized their services for the supper and were incredibly pleased with the delicious food! The beef, chicken, and vegetarian dishes were real crowd-pleasers. We also requested they bake some macaroons to accompany the wedding cake and the last time I had such delicious macaroons was in Paris! The last point I’d like to make about Loose Mansion is how incredibly convenient it was. Having the ceremony and reception at a single venue ensured we got to spend as much time with our guests as possible, which was particularly important as many guests flew to KC specifically for our wedding. Further, Loose Mansion offers overnight accommodation at their Carriage House which heightened the convenience factor significantly! We wavered on booking the Carriage House for the wedding weekend and during the weekend, itself, were so pleased with our decision! We would recommend booking Loose Mansion and the corresponding Carriage House to everyone!

As Loose Mansion has a full kitchen staff, we utilized their services for the supper and were incredibly pleased with the delicious food! The beef, chicken, and vegetarian dishes were real crowd-pleasers. We also requested they bake some macaroons to accompany the wedding cake and the last time I had such delicious macaroons was in Paris! The last point I’d like to make about Loose Mansion is how incredibly convenient it was. Having the ceremony and reception at a single venue ensured we got to spend as much time with our guests as possible, which was particularly important as many guests flew to KC specifically for our wedding. Further, Loose Mansion offers overnight accommodation at their Carriage House which heightened the convenience factor significantly! We wavered on booking the Carriage House for the wedding weekend and during the weekend, itself, were so pleased with our decision! We would recommend booking Loose Mansion and the corresponding Carriage House to everyone!

From my first outreach, Abby was extremely responsive, which was doubly important since we were planning from out of town, and willing to answer any questions I had and never left me waiting for a response or having to follow-up for answers. Barb, one of the owners, took us on our tour when we came into town and could not have been more hospitable - it's clear the professionalism starts from the top-down. After we booked, we worked closely with Brad, who was on-top of EVERY last detail and thought of things I wouldn't have in a million years that took our wedding to the next level. Britt supported him and didn't miss a beat - it's clear they communicate with one another on every event regularly, so there's no gaps or uncertainty on what should be going on, which made the process SO SMOOTH. They took all the stress out of planning and I can only imagine it would've been even less stress free if we were local! At the wedding, everyone raved about the food (kudos to chef) and the bar was top-knotch. I really cannot say enough about Loose Mansion and how thankful I am to have come across it then ultimately made the decision to have our NYE wedding here!

Loose Mansion is the best of the best! My entire experience with them was perfect- their staff is very on top of everything from the first tour to the schedule of your bouquet toss on your big night. From the beginning, their staff was accommodating as I toured other places and came back for multiple tours- it's a big decision! They walked through every single section of the contract- I knew exactly what I was getting including the tax and gratuity. Speaking of, Loose Mansion is an All Inclusive venue, which means that they take care of everything from your setup/teardown to your decor, catering, planning, etc. It took away all of my stress. You meet with them twice after you sign: once for your event planning meeting where you go over every single detail and timeline of the day and again for a tasting event. They are flexible when you don't have answers or have a unique idea. Their staff makes the day perfect for YOU- they encourage unique brides, floor plans, and odd schedules. Not to mention, my wedding week it poured rain. I was so torn between having my ceremony at Loose Park or moving it inside. Their staff was totally flexible with this and were willing to change plans if need be. I can not say enough about this venue. You can not go wrong by picking Loose Mansion!

I think everyone who has had their wedding at the Loose Mansion will agree that this is the best wedding venue in Kansas City both for their beautiful outlook and amazing service. I already had a very good impression of them when they replied to our first tour request. Abbey responded so quickly with such welcoming and friendly email. I actually didn't get to meet any of the staff until our first planning meeting because I was away in Japan, but they easily made me feel like I made the best decision on choosing them. Britt and Brad went through everything we wanted to know, and I could tell that they genuinely wanted to make our big day unforgettable and as stress-free as possible. And they literally took care of everything perfectly. I cannot stress enough that every single one of the staff there is very warm, lively and provides great service- the lovely owners, wedding planning team, bartender, servers, cooks, everyone. The mother of our flower girl told me how impressed and moved she was to see them providing a fruit bowl for her daughter while adults were eating salad at dinner. She appreciated their thoughtful hospitality even for little kids. So many more of our guests came up to me during or after the wedding and told us how wonderful this place was and I think that pretty much says all about the Loose Mansion. I am very happy we had our wedding with them and recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful classic wedding with wonderful staff to work with.

Admittedly, I've been anxious and analytical about every aspect of the Wedding and Britt from Loose Mansion, has been exceptionally graceful, receptive, and helpful in every question or apprehension I had about the Wedding---and exceeded even my highest hope! My family and my husband's family toured the Mansion on multiple occasions and were immediately drawn to it's beauty and prestige. The guest raved about how beautiful the building is and one person commented in our photos that \"It looks like you all had the Wedding at the White House.\" When viewing other Venues around KC, everything paled in comparison to the regality and class of the Mansion, so it was love at first SITE! (HAHA) If you want the best of the best all-inclusive package for a Wedding, Loose Mansion is your place. My husband and I were able to attend the tasting event to try some of the amazing food before the Wedding and we had a difficult time choosing food BECAUSE everything was so delicious. We chose the KC Strip Loin, Boursin stuffed chicken, brussels sprouts with pecans and pancetta, mashed potatoes, and a MAC AND CHEESE BAR! All of the guests were raving about how delicious and incredible all the food tasted at the Wedding. One of the guests said, \"This is the best Wedding food I've EVER had and I've been to a ton of Weddings.\" Also, if you want amazing service with great drinks, our guests enjoyed the signature drink, FROZEN MARGARITAS during the reception (need I say more?) and after the last call, the bartender, Alfred, made sure I had the last drink as the Bride! (Talk about class and flattery, it works!). So, if you have good TASTE, Loose is your place! The staff is incredibly efficient, resourceful, kind, and helpful to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of your Wedding. We decided to do confetti-poppers for the getting ready pictures and Cheryl approved of this crazy idea (it made for an amazingly- fun photo) and as she was vacuuming up the millions of confetti, she was happily saying how amazing of an idea it was! If you like coordination, logical flow, and optimal fun, you'll LOVE Loose Mansion. They coordinated everything from the color of table cloths, type of candle holder, placement of flowers to the bridal procession and order of events for the entire evening. They helped ensure everything ran flawlessly and effortlessly for the Wedding Party and Guests. To me, this was the most amazing part as the super-planner and anxious-bride. They decorated the mantles, tables, and stairwell-landings all to perfection. When you dream about your wedding as a little girl, you imagine a pretty dress with some pretty flowers (maybe or maybe not WHO you will marry is in your dreams), BUT I can tell you with confidence, Loose Mansion made my DREAM Wedding come to reality. Wow! What a fabulous experience we just had with our wedding ceremony and reception at Loose Mansion. My daughter and her husband continue to get “That was the best wedding ever!” feedback from their guests and the wedding was six weeks ago!As mother-of-the-bride, my greatest concern was that I would be planning this wedding with my daughter and her fiancee for a Kansas City location, but I live out-of-state. I really needed to find a venue that would respond promptly when I made inquiries, be OK with working with a bride in Kansas City and a mom in Texas, and offer as many services and as much help as possible. In addition, the bride and groom were totally taken with the beauty and timeless elegance of the venue and felt it would offer not only a beautiful location for their ceremony, but such a fun and unique environment for their reception. Loose Mansion was the perfect fit. My experience began with emails back and forth with Abbey, their sales manager. She always responded promptly and offered bits and pieces of advice as my inquiries became more and more serious. The wedding date was the last weekend in March. The venue offers wonderful rates for the first quarter of any year and I was able to take advantage of these. In addition, the venue has a Carriage House B&B on the property and the bride enjoyed spending the night before the wedding there with her bridesmaids. This made “getting ready” the next day so easy for the girls.Having booked the Mansion, Brad, their wedding coordinator, became our “go to” guy. He was AWESOME!! We reserved the entire mansion for our event (about 200 guests) using all four floors for a variety of purposes—ceremony, small bites and drinks following the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. I was wondering if this might end up being confusing or chaotic, but Brad and his staff are so experienced and organized that all the transitions were totally seamless. The staff helps with so many of the small things--greeting and directing guests as they arrive, directing guests to the buffet table, serving the cake, even carrying the gifts out to the car.The Mansion made planning so easy. They provide a vendor list, which was especially helpful for choosing a photographer, a florist, and a wedding cake. They offer an evening for the bride and groom to come in and have dinner so that a variety of appetizers and main course choices can be tasted. There is a quite lengthy meeting with Brad and his staff to plan every minute of the ceremony and reception. They don’t miss a thing and there is so much available in-house—table settings, linens, table decorations, room decorations. The food was fabulous. Their chef is wonderful. Be sure to order the homemade cinnamon rolls as a combination with the dinner rolls. Yummy! They offer a variety of bar packages. We went with the beer and wine package which also includes one frozen choice. A very popular addition.I cannot rave enough about our experience with Loose Mansion. It was the best event and the easiest event I have ever hosted. Thank you to Barbara (owner), Brad, Abbey, and the Loose Mansion staff for an unforgettable evening!

I had my dream winter wedding at Loose Mansion! I visited the year before for their holiday showcase and absolutely fell in love with the decor and charm of the mansion during the holidays and couldn't imagine it being anywhere else for a December wedding. In addition, my fiance (now husband) and I were planning from afar since we no longer live in Missouri and if you find yourself in a similar situation I would highly recommend sitting down with the Loose staff! I didn't need to hire a wedding planner. They coordinated everything and covered all of the detail so that I could focus my attention on the things that were most important to me! We had so many compliments on the food - which I feel like never happens at weddings - and the staff, and the overall atmosphere and charm of the mansion - our guests had an incredible time. Could not recommend them highly enough!

From the moment we saw Loose Mansion, we knew it was the place for our ceremony and reception. The beauty, charm, vintage feel and the history all stood out as reasons this was the place... Not to mention the incredible staff!We selected a Sunday ceremony with a brunch reception and so pleased we did. The food was superb. The staff were the most attentive to us as the bride and groom and our guests.Our guests raved about the atmosphere, the set-up, food and staff. All around it was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for anything more.We also reserved the Carriage House for our family the night before the ceremony. With two floors, five separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and loft area, it was perfect for all of us. After the rehearsal we were able to relax and enjoy our family before the big day.We had the best time on what is such a special day and we can't thank the team enough for such a memorable time.

We had our wedding at Loose Mansion in the fall of 2017. My husband and I both live in Virginia, but wanted to have our wedding back home in KCMO. As you may, or may not know, looking for a venue across the country is not the easiest process and put quite a bit of stress on the planning. The Knot led me to Loose Mansion. What caught my eye was the absolutely beautiful artictecturhe and rich history of the estate. My husband is a huge history buff so I was very intrigued by Loose Mansion. The second thing that drew me in was their reasonable prices in comparison with other venues in the area. Lastly, it was the inclusivity of the services offered; bundled into one flat cost. They basically planned our entire wedding and most was included in the price. What better way to plan a wedding from across the country? The staff was AMAZING! Always pleasant and literally no question/request went unanswered (no matter how silly the request). The staff works so hard and is always so busy with events, but you’d never be able to tell. They answered my questions within a 24 hour period, and most of the time right away. We were very inexperienced with the process of wedding planning, and Loose Mansion made it fun and effortless. I was blown away on our wedding day when I saw the venue. It was so beautiful. The gorgeous wood and gold accents made it so elegant. Our guests were also blown away. Loose Mansion is a hidden gem and we are so lucky to have found them. I would highly recommend this venue!

I got to work with Brad at Loose Mansion and he was amazing! They took care of EVERYTHING and I was not stressed or worried one bit because of the hard work Brad and his team put into my wedding. Abbey Chingren (Manager) Abbey is Loose Mansion’s General Manager, and is the initial contact for couples who inquire about the mansion. Abbey has worked for Loose Mansion in some capacity since its beginning! She loves connecting with couples during the sales process and hearing about their story and plans.
