We had just the most amazing wedding reception here! With about 200 guests, we were worried about spacing but that was barely an issue. The food was GREAT, and all our guests were telling us how much they enjoyed the appetizers and their meals. The staff was super well organized and we felt like we were in good hands with our event coordinator Ashley. She answered all our questions in a timely manner and was very accommodating to our various requests.The venue itself is beautiful, especially around sunset. Our cocktail hour began at 5:30 which was perfect for that golden hour (in mid-October) and everyone was inside by the time it got dark.There is plenty of space to mill around and socialize. We had space for a dance floor but didn't rent an actual dance floor but it still looked great, and our guests danced the night away regardless!All in all, we felt like we had the reception and party of our dreams and were very satisfied with the quality of everything. The only negative would be that there was a management change at some point and after the change happened, our emails hardly ever got replies and we had to ask about booking our tasting day (even though we were told in the beginning that they would reach out to us). If we hadn't asked, we would've never had a tasting because it happened to be the last few days we could sign up to be scheduled for one that falls before our wedding date.However, our coordinator Ashley was responsive whenever we emailed her directly and made sure we had everything we needed.I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to book a large event! It's pretty much all-inclusive and the only outside vendors we had to book where the DJ, florist, photo booth, and the usual photographer/videographer. No need to look for catering or rentals!

We visited 15+ venues around the Los Angeles area and were either unimpressed by the service or the pricing. We randomly chanced upon Los Verdes Golf Course and decided to visit even though it was an hour away. Our breaths were taken away as we were driving into Los Verdes as we were greeted by breath-taking ocean views. The venue: Even though the outside of the venue does not look like much, the ballroom has neutral wall coloring, wood flooring, and is surrounded by windows that provide ample lighting (blinds available). There is a terrace where you can view the beautiful sunset and grounds. The 10th tee box gives you an ocean view, is well maintained, and sits ever so slightly elevated so you do not really notice any golfers that may be nearby. Our guests could not stop taking pictures around the venue. A bonus is that the space is highly customizable with florals or by their decor team that the venue contracts to provide dance floors, lighting, draping, etc. Also included was a bridal and separate groom's suite. The bridal suite had a keypad lock, much needed AC, and was spacious enough for 8 people at any given time. There are plenty of mirrors, outlets and chairs for the getting ready process. The food: We usually hear that food at weddings can be a huge miss but we received great feedback from almost all of our guests. We opted for the buffet option and everyone was satisfied by the amount of food and variety. People loved the appetizers and mentioned that they kept coming. For dinner, the mushroom risotto was a resounding guest favorite. The service: Last but not least we want to leave a raving review for the events team. You will not find a better venue because no other venue has a Greg Varley. We were truly amazed by his friendliness and professionalism and it is hard not to compare him to other individuals we've met because his service is simply top-notch and blows everyone else out of the water. You can feel the enthusiasm he has for what he does. We were sold on the venue once we stepped food on the grounds and to say Greg did everything he could to make that happen would be an understatement. We felt like we instantly connected with him and he made the entire venue selection process so much easier on us. We had planned the wedding until we hired a day of coordinator the week before our wedding and in the months we spoke with him, Greg was a well trusted resource. He was always on top of things and worked so hard to make every one of our requests and wedding vision come to fruition. We've truly rarely had the pleasure of meeting someone so genuinely invested in making someone else's dream a reality. Truthfully, we are both a bit sad that we are no longer planning a wedding because we don't get to interact with him! Our wedding would not have happened without him. Working with him made our wedding everything we could have dreamed of and more. We also want to give a special shout-out to his teammate Ashley. Although we did not interact with her nearly as much, she did a phenomenal job looking after us on our wedding day. Our wedding happened to be on the hottest day of the year and when my now husband started having signs of a heat stroke, she quickly brought us water and food. She shuffled the schedule around with ease and was empathetic, which made us feel very at ease despite the setback. Let the view speak for itself but we cannot recommend them enough. You will truly be in great hands.

We checked out a few other venues in the area (we had the ceremony at Wayfarers Chapel and wanted the reception to be nearby) and are glad we ended up at Los Verdes. Loved that they handle everything from food & drinks, tables & linens, to wall decor. We really liked the variety of food you can choose from. Beautiful view from the balcony and rear windows in the evening. I think some of the time we worked with them was a period of high turnover and there were a few different people helping us, but Ashley worked with us closer to the event date and she was great. Would definitely recommend, especially if the idea of coordinating different vendors for tables and catering on your own sounds exhausting (like it did to us!).

Our wedding planner happened to find this venue while out in Palos Verdes. She sent me a video and I knew it was where I wanted to get married. Soon after I went to see it and it was perfect. The grounds are so beautiful and you have the beautiful ocean views. It was exactly what I wanted. Ashley was amazing , super helpful and made everything come together on the day. I highly recommend Los Verdes for your wedding. The grounds are so beautiful which make for AMAZING wedding photos. You will not be disappointed!

Our wedding planner happened to find this venue while out in Palos Verdes. She sent me a video and I knew it was where I wanted to get married. Soon after I went to see it and it was perfect. The grounds are so beautiful and you have the beautiful ocean views. It was exactly what I wanted. Ashley was amazing , super helpful and made everything come together on the day. I highly recommend Los Verdes for your wedding. The grounds are so beautiful which make for AMAZING wedding photos. You will not be disappointed!

This was a beautiful location and the service in every respect was excellent. We loved that their package met all our requirements without needing to search and manage separate catering/ rentals/ etc. We got exactly what we wanted. The food stations option was one of the highlights and honestly that had been one of the reasons we chose them. They did not disappoint! People said that the wedding was one of the best they’d been to, and having Los Verdes for the venue, food, drinks, & overall experience was a big reason they said that.

Our ceremony was picturesque with an ocean view and the photos that not only we took during sunset, but also that our guests took during the sunset cocktail hour were absolutely breathtaking. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about how beautiful of a location this venue was.

Our ceremony was picturesque with an ocean view and the photos that not only we took during sunset, but also that our guests took during the sunset cocktail hour were absolutely breathtaking. We had a pretty awful experience holding our wedding at Los Verdes. The wedding was beautiful luckily, but the planning process was, for the most part, unpleasant. When we initially booked, the coordinator we worked with was wonderful. She was thorough, helpful, and made the first couple months of our engagement and wedding planning process great. Unfortunately, she let us know she would be moving on to a new opportunity and we would be moved to a new coordinator. We were assured by one of the managers at the venue that the new coordinator would be seasoned and knowledgable about Los Verdes. This couldn't have been farther from the truth. We were given a brand new coordinator who knew very little about the venue - when I would provide her information or details she needed, it didn't seem she ever took note of them. I was very thorough in updating the venue, and she asked me the same questions over and over again. Eventually, she stopped responding to my emails, and all of a sudden other members of Los Verdes' staff would respond. Finally a couple months later after receiving responses from other people consistently, I asked if this person was still our coordinator. This manager, who was very rude throughout the whole planning process, then informed us that coordinator was no longer with the venue. She did not even provide the info of our new coordinator - I had to explicitly ask. When we finally met our third coordinator, it was at our venue walk through about 6 weeks before the wedding. She did not bring the venue details paperwork I had filled out and continually updated with them, so I had to check details myself on my phone when we had questions. Our third coordinator was actually very nice, and we definitely do not blame her for all the annoying things we had to deal with from the venue - she also, however, was new and not very knowledgable about the facility. We ended up hiring a friend of mine who works for a fantastic planning company, Samantha Hall Events, as our planner for about a month before the wedding and to have a day-of person to help out. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't because although the venue says they provide a day-of person, we barely saw our venue coordinator during the rehearsal or the wedding. We understand if the venue feels a day-of person hired specifically takes precedence, but we still wish she would have at least checked in with us. Mostly, the venue looked beautiful on the day of and was everything we could have hoped for - mostly due to the weather being perfect and the golf course having a beautiful ocean/sunset view. However, we asked that trash around the venue be picked up before the wedding (my mom asked several times), and it wasn't really - there were overflowing trash cans, etc. Not very pleasant. The bathrooms also smelled very poorly and looked like they hadn't been cleaned at all. For a wedding venue, these items seem ridiculous. You would expect it to be a given that trash and bathrooms would be cleaned before an event as important and expensive as a wedding but at Los Verdes, this was not the case. Luckily, our pictures came out beautifully and the venue worked out on the day of, but I would not recommend Los Verdes to brides just starting to plan their wedding. Weddings are very expensive, and we felt like the quality of service we got at the venue absolutely did not align with the money we paid for it.

We understand if the venue feels a day-of person hired specifically takes precedence, but we still wish she would have at least checked in with us. Mostly, the venue looked beautiful on the day of and was everything we could have hoped for - mostly due to the weather being perfect and the golf course having a beautiful ocean/sunset view. However, we asked that trash around the venue be picked up before the wedding (my mom asked several times), and it wasn't really - there were overflowing trash cans, etc. Not very pleasant. The bathrooms also smelled very poorly and looked like they hadn't been cleaned at all. For a wedding venue, these items seem ridiculous. You would expect it to be a given that trash and bathrooms would be cleaned before an event as important and expensive as a wedding but at Los Verdes, this was not the case. Luckily, our pictures came out beautifully and the venue worked out on the day of, but I would not recommend Los Verdes to brides just starting to plan their wedding. Weddings are very expensive, and we felt like the quality of service we got at the venue absolutely did not align with the money we paid for it.

I had the most amazing day at my wedding at Los Verdes. The views at Los Verdes are beautiful. My wedding was in the afternoon. The ceremony was at 5pm and reception was right after till midnight. The sunset was beautiful day of and you can see the ocean from the ceremony and reception areas. The reception room needs a lot of decorating. Los Verdes works with another company for draping and lighting which made a huge difference in the decor. I also had a lot of flowers all around which dresses things up a lot too. The planners/ coordinators were very helpful with planning the whole day, would always work with us on pricing, and assured us that everything would be taken cared of. Our coordinator was changed a month or two before the wedding, Emily. She was very sweet and attentive when we would have questions or changes needed to our wedding plans. The day of was a completely different story when it came to working with the coordinators. Los Verdes promotes that they have an in house coordinator but don't be fooled. I would 100% recommend hiring a day of coordinator if you book this location because day of they are MIA. Luckily my family took care of the situation and I had no idea what was really going on behind the scenes (thank god). The Los Verdes coordinators were sitting in their office not doing anything during set up while everyone was stressing outside trying to get things together and organized. They allow you to come 2/3 hours before your time to start set up which is not a lot of time at all and can be very stressful! My family had to ask the coordinators several times to get out of their office to help. When you walked into the room near the restrooms it smelled like a dirty locker room and fish. The coordinator had no idea what to do to get rid of the horrendous smell but luckily my family figured it out. The mens restroom was out of order the day of the wedding so they had to leave the building and use the restrooms out back. The food was very good!! I got a lot of compliments on how good our wedding food was. We got the buffet option and had tri tip, chicken breast with cilantro cream sauce, salads, asparagus, & potatoes. The appetizers for happy hour are a little over priced, we only got some to meet the minimum on our package. I would recommend hiring outside for that. Overall I still had the most amazing day but my family and I were very disappointed in the lack of help the coordinators were the day of. I think they should be a bit more honest with their work flow day of and not promote having an in house coordinator. The location is well priced with gorgeous views!

Initially, my husband and I were thrilled to book Los Verdes Golf Course for our wedding venue. The views are amazing and our initial wedding coordinator Irene Yi was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered every question we had, was very organized, accommodating and professional. Unfortunately, we were reassigned to a different coordinator (Zelina) a few months before the wedding. After meeting Zelina (once), she too left Los Verdes and we were reassigned a third time to a wedding planner, Emily. As you can imagine, my husband and I were very concerned with all the staff turnover and lack of consistency. On a positive note, Emily was accommodating, professional and answered all our questions. However, our dissatisfaction came with the day of our wedding. Prior to our wedding, there was an event at the venue, giving us only 2 hours to move out furniture from the previous event, set up our decorations and get dressed. This created undue stress for my florist, and all those helping with decorations. In addition, the women's restroom had a strong sewage smell that everyone complained about and when the day of coordinator was informed, she did nothing about it. Also, while the day of coordinator was a nice women, her lack of experience and inability to keep us on track, on the day of, really affected our timeline. My wedding party/family is full of huge personalities that needed to be checked, but she failed to do so. Instead, many details were left, and there was miscommunication throughout the day, which caused me considerable stress. Positive take-aways for the event: decor was beautiful, setup was as discussed, food was good. My advice for brides: make sure you have your own wedding coordinator who is able to keep your timeline on track, effectively communicate with the venue on your behalf, make sure things are running smoothly on the day of, and can keep all wedding party in line!

We could not be happier with Los Verdes!!! They were always in contact with me, flexible, and always professional! Both my parents are handicapped, my dad has Alzheimer's and my mom can't walk, so I had my hands full on my wedding day! They handled everything and went above and beyond! I also had a tire blowout on the freeway which caused me to have to put all of my wedding decor on the side of the freeway so we could get the spare out, then when we put the shredded tire back in the trunk, it took up a lot more room then the spare, so everything had to be taken out of the organized boxes, and shoved back in to the trunk! Some items broke, and all of it was a complete mess. So when I saw the venue the next morning, with almost everything set up the way I wanted it, I was beyond grateful!!! there was a lot of choices for decor, and even their vendors were fantastic! My invites were done with Myluxe, our cake was done by Torrance Bakery, and flowers were from J Flowers! All of our guests really enjoyed the food, the views, and how beautiful the venue was!!! If you are thinking of using this venue, please do yourself a favor and drive out there and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed! Thank you to the whole staff at Los Verdes, we will always be grateful for what did for us on our wedding day!

Choosing Los Verdes Golf Course as our wedding venue was the best decision! My husband and I got married this March and it turned out absolutely PERFECT! When searching for venues, Los Verdes stood out to us. The scenic views were great, the staff was very sweet and helpful and the price was the best in the area. We appreciated that they worked with our budget and accommodated our wants and needs. They let us specialize our packages and did not try to convince us to add other services that would increase the budget, which was awesome. Food was also sooo good! Our guests kept talking about how good it was after the wedding. Although our coordinator was changed a few times due to people no longer working there, we ended up working with Greg and he was absolutely amazing!! Any uncertainty and fears that we had, Greg made sure to reassure us that everything would be fine and was like my own personal therapist. He served as our event coordinator as well as our day of coordinator and I could not have asked for a better person. He went above and beyond! My florist did not bring one of the bouquets for my bridesmaids and instead of him letting my freak out, he was really calm and explained to me what happened and he even made a bouquet from our arrangements so that my bridesmaid would have a bouquet. How amazing is that?! Our guests all loved him as well and we were happy that he was there for anything that we may have needed(even providing lighting for our selfies haha). We can't thank Greg enough for being so absolutely amazing and the whole Los Verdes staff for making our day flawless and amazing!

This was everything we asked for: Outdoor ocean view ceremony, indoor ballroom reception, very responsive staff and easy to work with. We spent a bit to enhance the ballroom. The only thing that can improve would be the shared bathroom with the golf course. Otherwise, worth every penny of it :)

When I got out of the car in the parking lot and glimpsed this spectacular setting, I immediately had a feeling I was done looking at venues and this was the special place for my big day. When all of your guests are furiously taking pictures of themselves at your venue you know you've found the picture perfect spot. My now hubby who loves to golf used to play out there on the green and think to himself, \"This might be a nice place to get married.\" Boy was my man right! Our venue was not only eye-catching but the staff was impeccable and really took care of us. They were informative, friendly, very helpful when it came to all those wedding details and just an all around fabulous team to work with. Their vendor recommendations were spot on too. And, the catering was great, very delicious. I'm sorry I was so busy being a bride to eat more! Our day of coordinator Emily was totally awesome!! The Halliseys couldn't have done it without her! Accommodating, sweet, patient, I could go on and on. Get this girl for your wedding and book this venue immediately. You'll be so happy you did. I couldn't have asked for a better place to begin my Happily Ever After. Thank you Los Verdes!

We had our wedding this past summer at Los Verdes Golf Course. We would rate them with negative stars if we could for how unorganized, unprofessional and inexperienced they were with our special day. While the location is beautiful and the views are breathtaking in Palos Verdes, this venue and everyone running it from the crew and the people in charge (especially Anna, one of the directors) are EXTREMELY unprofessional, clueless and inexperienced when it comes to weddings. They talk the talk and walk the walk and pretend to be helpful and care about your special day, but DON’T BE FOOLED… once your payments are locked in and it is wedding day, they could care less about your day. Seems their goal is to get through your wedding and have as many weddings as possible to make as much money as possible. We understand this is a business, but whatever happened to being honest and genuine to your clients? Anna turned out to be so fake and her and her staff were just clueless about running the venue. Even the assigned wedding coordinator was very inexperienced and indifferent. We were very surprised given the amount of weddings they have... The simplest things and no-brainers needed to be explained to them and even when documented, never happened. With such unprofessional, amateurs in charge it is no surprise the staff is so unorganized and unprofessional too. On our wedding day, it felt like a bunch of college kids coordinating our wedding. Just CLUELESS!The only thing that saved the day for us was the professionalism and experience of our OUTSIDE VENDORS. Everyone from the photographer to the caterer were all very experienced with weddings and so friendly and professional. We were lucky in that respect especially since NONE of them were recommended by the venue. They alleviated a lot of the stress and came through for us and even helped us stay within budget. We can’t imagine how bad it could have been if we had the Los Verdes Golf Course also take care of catering and the other services that Anna was trying to sell us. You’ve been warned! We hate to leave such a negative review but we feel we have to save other couples from this stress on their wedding day especially with wedding season around the corner. We would NOT recommend this venue host your wedding unless you have outside vendors for ALL the services and know that these vendors will take care of EVERY DETAIL… because Los Verdes Golf Course will not! We would also avoid working with Anna at any cost.One last note… After the wedding day, we tried to voice our dissatisfaction and wanted some answers but Anna was just plain RUDE and unprofessional. We could not believe how fake someone could be. She turned into this monster that kept sending us accusatory emails full of excuses to put the blame on us. She did not bother to call us and was insulting us in every way. She even threatened us with legal action! It is so sad to see someone who knows nothing about client relationship be in charge…. Especially when this is something that could have been resolved with a few kind words or a nice gesture. So disappointing… we chose them for our wedding and got this unprofessional, childish behavior in return.As we are writing this review, we see another recent review that experienced the same issues we did... rooms not being ready, staff being unprofessional, and the venue not making things right... like the other reviewer said, \"don't count on LVGC to right things\".

We were lucky in that respect especially since NONE of them were recommended by the venue. They alleviated a lot of the stress and came through for us and even helped us stay within budget. We can’t imagine how bad it could have been if we had the Los Verdes Golf Course also take care of catering and the other services that Anna was trying to sell us. You’ve been warned! We hate to leave such a negative review but we feel we have to save other couples from this stress on their wedding day especially with wedding season around the corner. We would NOT recommend this venue host your wedding unless you have outside vendors for ALL the services and know that these vendors will take care of EVERY DETAIL… because Los Verdes Golf Course will not! We would also avoid working with Anna at any cost.One last note… After the wedding day, we tried to voice our dissatisfaction and wanted some answers but Anna was just plain RUDE and unprofessional. We could not believe how fake someone could be. She turned into this monster that kept sending us accusatory emails full of excuses to put the blame on us. She did not bother to call us and was insulting us in every way. She even threatened us with legal action! It is so sad to see someone who knows nothing about client relationship be in charge…. Especially when this is something that could have been resolved with a few kind words or a nice gesture. So disappointing… we chose them for our wedding and got this unprofessional, childish behavior in return.As we are writing this review, we see another recent review that experienced the same issues we did... rooms not being ready, staff being unprofessional, and the venue not making things right... like the other reviewer said, \"don't count on LVGC to right things\".

Jackie is seriously the most amazing coordinator and she went above and beyond to be certain we had what we needed for our big day. Mostly went OK, was notified that there would be another event immediately prior to ours during the on-site rehearsal on the day before. Coordinator assured we would have full access and privacy to assigned facilities. Although this would probably make the average couple balk, we were accommodating. On our wedding day the next day, little did we know that the groom's lounge would be a free-for-all for the conference attendees. Also, when the wedding party is struggling to get ready with tension & stress levels running at full tilt, and the day-of coordinator is running around and inaccessible to us, and everybody is short on time, there can be challenges and difficulties in reaching out to find the right personnel to address our situation. But after getting off the call just now with their staff to raise this situation 4 days later, it was implied that we should've assumed the grooms' lounge *would be* a free-for-all, or that attendees of the other event *should be* allowed to have their possessions stored in the grooms lounge. In all the mayhem, long story short, this delayed our ceremony by a good half hour on the conservative side, and caused a couple of other mishaps that are now irreversible. But just imagine, half dressed men with family around and having strangers bust in on us. No recourse or credits of any significance was provided other than a complimentary couple of rounds of golf (I don't golf). Though most of the day went swimmingly, I'd caution that if anything were to go wrong beyond your control on an already stressful day, LVGC is more than eager to take you for a ride once the day is over.There were a few minor mishaps by the staff we were willing to overlook, but the patronizing, unapologetic, and unyielding level of service after the fact leaves a lot to be desired.So even though you're stressed and potentially on your last nerve, don't count on LVGC to right things.

We are so glad that we had our wedding at the venue. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, but the people that we worked with were truly amazing. I want to give a major shout out to Anna!!! She was one of the reasons we decided to have the wedding at Los Verdes. She seemed to genuinely love what she does and that gave us a lot of comfort and excitement in planning the wedding with her guidance. Los Verdes Golf Course is an INCREDIBLE place to have your wedding. Ours was a couple months ago in October 2016. We looked all over the South Bay and it was so beautiful, more affordable than many others, and so well organized.We worked with Anna G. and she was an absolute blessing! She is such a professional. She was so helpful and prompt in answering our questions throughout the process. It felt like she was our advocate. She was one of our favorite vendors from our entire wedding. We were so lucky to work with her! Michael was our day-of coordinator and he was awesome as well. He handled so many things and running around that day without ever stressing us out or even letting us know what things, if anything, needed fixing. A total professional. My tip to brides and grooms is to treat everyone, including all the vendors you work with, with kindness the way you’d want to be treated.We loved how:1) Los Verdes knows weddings. As 2 busy people who work full time, it was a life saver that we didn’t have to rent tables, chairs, get insurances, and the many other things that the more DIY places would have needed. Their package and professionalism made it easy for us. 2) It’s GORGEOUS. We thought it was too good to be true and kept waiting to find out something bad. But it really is true. Having our ceremony there on the lawn overlooking the trees, ocean and sky felt EPIC! It made the vows and message in the ceremony even more joyful and poignant. October was great weather. The summer months can be overcast because of the “June gloom” marine layer off the ocean. Ballroom was perfect too. 3) The price was decent for us. We did ours slightly off season and on a Sunday to save costs on their food and beverage minimum. Somehow I was kind of like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride, afraid of every penny (even though I’m the bride) but it was a good value and I feel great about it.Also! They do meal tastings 4x per year. I highly recommend it, mostly so that you can go and enjoy dinner at your wedding venue! Your mind will be a million places during your wedding day. Go to the tasting well in advance with your fiancé, enjoy the wine and delicious food, and have a fun date out of it! So much of wedding planning is done on the computer these days. The tasting was our favorite day of the entire planning process because unlike other to-do's that felt like chores, it was so enjoyable.

I had my wedding at Los Verdes Golf Course.There is no such thing as a perfect wedding. From me forgetting my veil at home to my videography not showing up, the staff here still managed to make my wedding feel like the perfect day.First and foremost, when you book be sure to get assigned to Jackie Lowe as your private event sales director and Michael Garcia as you day of wedding coordinator.Michael is amazing. He checked in with me every twenty minutes and kept to my wedding schedule. I know problems came on the day, but he took care of everything including the projector screen for my slide show that I also forgot to bring. He made my day run so smoothly. He also worked really well with all my vendors. I received so many high reviews asking where I found him and on how professional he was.The food here was also amazing. Everyone talked about how delicious and pretty it was. The late snack snacks were a hit as well. There was so much food. My guest were stuffed.The venue is gorgeous. However, if you want the room to look good you have to add the additional elements. It's worth it trust me. I had the ballroom chairs upgraded with chair covers and sashes. My DJ added the up lights and a photo booth which added special touches. Get a good photographer that specializes in natural lighting. My wedding day had overcast, but you can tell in the photos.It is also worth it to hire a wedding coordinator through the planning process as well. The sales department will answer questions but they will not plan your wedding for you.

We had a wedding reception here during Labor Day weekend and everything went smooth and was great!! The food and service was amazing!! Service was prompt and the staff were beyond attentive with our guests and vendors. The food was fresh, and very tasteful. Jackie Lowe was our vendor coordinator who was very helpful and informative . The venue has beautiful views and has lots of room for decoration. The venue is very economical however for draping you can only drape through them and it is somewhat expensive compared to other vendors that specialize in only draping. Overall the venue was great the only downside I found was that when we arrived since they had already finished a party before ours the ballroom was clean but the bathrooms were filthy and the bridal suite had trash from the previous party luckily they cleaned it up right away and none of our guests saw the mess, they were very apologetic in then end. I do recommend the venue if you have a large party and want a less expensive venue by the beach. Everything turned out great !

We had our Indian wedding ceremony on the 10th tee with a pergola on a stage and seating for 200 guests. \r\rThe setting was perfect for an outdoor ceremony, the ocean in the background, the manicured golf greens, late afternoon sunshine and ocean breeze, all combined to make the whole event truly spectacular. \r\rIt's not cheap but it's pretty special.

We had a very small wedding with party of 18 at Wayfarers Chapel. Then our party drove down the street to Los Verdes for reception. Jackie Lowe was our adviser and she did a wonderful job setting everything up. We were there for our 1st meeting on 3 month prior to our wedding to look at the facility, taste the dinner and etc. We rented the smaller space in the front which has a wonderful view of the golf course. Food was fabulous and service was great, I would definitely recommend Los Verdes to anyone!

I Immediately fell in love with Los Verdes Golf Course. It was the hidden gem that I had been looking for. Jacquelyn reviewed the packages, answered any questions that we had and we signed a contract the same day. I was so apprehensive to sign the contract considering it was one of my best friends birthdays that I had signed for but the venue was completely booked until the following January 2015 and I knew I wanted to get married in November 2014. But there was nothing else available so I settled. One week later Jacquelyn called me to let me know that there was a bride willing to switch her date with mine. I literally cried and said yes!! From the first day that I came to Los Verdes I have had nothing but positive things to say and a magic that I cannot describe. Jacquelyn truly has gone over and beyond to make my wedding the best day of my life. There was never a time in which I contacted her and she didn't have something positive to say or a solution for an impending problem that she could not fix. Like a guardian angel she always had my better interest at heart and truly treated me as family. She always managed to put my mind at ease during this stressful process. I now consider her a friend and not just a coordinator that helped me though one of the most stressful times of my life. Jacquelyn is the type of person that we find once in a lifetime. She always has a smile on her face, always is happy, helpful, and truly a beautiful soul. I can see why she plans events like these because she remains so professional and collected. I cannot thank her enough for everything that she has done for me. But what I can say is if you chose this venue you will not regret it because they will go over and beyond to try to make whatever your fairy tale beginning is come true. What a better way to say \"I DO\" then with Los Verdes.

If I could recommend one venue for any bride to have the wedding of their dreams and have a stress free day, I would recommend Los Verdes Golf Course. My husband and I were studying for the medical boards and CA Bar exam prior to our wedding so you can imagine how busy we were. Jacqueline Kaintz at Los Verdes Golf Course helped us out in so many ways, she was easy to work with, prompt with replying to us with any questions or wedding logistics we had, and truly executed the day of our wedding. We had a beautiful wedding and honestly owe it to the venue and Jacqueline for their hard work. So thankful to them. If you need a venue that will go above and beyond for you, this is the place.

I would like to thank Jackie Lowe and her staff for making my wedding day a dream come true. Jackie was extremely professional, friendly and a joy to work with. The food was amazing and the wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive to my husband and I and all of our guest. Last but not least I can't say enough about the grounds of Los Verdes Golf Club. The well manicured lawns, beautiful trees and the magnificient ocean view. It was the perfect setting for my special day.....

My hubby and I tied the knot here on September 20, 2014! The venue is absolutely beautiful! We were married on the 10th tee at sunset overlooking the ocean and it was so romantic! Our wedding was awesome and I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

We got married at Los Verdes a month ago and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the 10th tee and cocktail patio are amazing and the banquet room was spacious and nicely done. We loved every aspect of our wedding and would pick Los Verdes again. The staff was extremely helpful and quick to respond every step of the way through the planning process. Their team allowed us to focus completely on our day and our guests and we never had to stress about things getting done. Highly recommend Los Verdes!

We got married at Los Verdes a month ago and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the 10th tee and cocktail patio are amazing and the banquet room was spacious and nicely done. We loved every aspect of our wedding and would pick Los Verdes again. The staff was extremely helpful and quick to respond every step of the way through the planning process. Their team allowed us to focus completely on our day and our guests and we never had to stress about things getting done. Highly recommend Los Verdes!

I love Rancho Palos Verdes. It is beyond gorgeous up there, especially as wedding location. However, the most sought after wedding venues in this area are pretty pricey. A friend of mine had a wedding at Trump National and it was in the 80K range. Gorgeous venue but 80K was a bit out of my budget...like by 60K. I've also stayed at Terranea resort and daydreamed about a wedding there but just don't have an extra 60-100K to blow on one day. If you do happen to have this kind of money in your wedding budget, I recommend Terranea, I prefer it to Trump. Trump has a nicer reception room but it's kind of gaudy. Has a new-money, west-egg vibe to it...if you get the reference.\r\rSo....when I happened upon Los Verdes Golf Course, I was pretty much sold. I attended one of their bridal events and it is actually quite a beautiful venue. It's a gorgeous, plush green golf course with an ocean view AND...it's a public golf course.\r\rLos Verdes offers lots of options. If you're super on a budget, you can opt for lots of inexpensive ways to save on your wedding or you can also go all out with their Platinum package and a whole host of upgrades. You also have the option of having your ceremony on the green at the 10th tee (with a great ocean view backdrop), which we did and I highly recommend. There is a higher fee for that (about $2200 extra) but even that was a super reasonable price. Having a ceremony at a local chapel (Wayfayer chapel) costs somewhere well in the 3K range.\r\rYou can honestly have a gorgeous, classic wedding with tons of upgrades and still pay a fraction of what a Palos Verdes wedding costs. I did.\r\rThe event staff is super warm and so helpful. E-mail responses, for even the smallest question, were super prompt. Everyone there is just very genuine and willing to help. Even with the amount of brides that must go through there on a given summer, they are very attentive to personal questions and concerns. However, they are not gonna baby you and hold your hand through the entire process. If you want that, hire a wedding planner...that is the job of a wedding planner not the venue staff. The negative reviews I've read on Yelp sound like bridezillas that didn't get enough attention when they were growing up. If you have those kind of issues, I highly suggest therapy before you get married. \r\rI also read negative reviews about their food. I wasn't super impressed with some of the menu options at the initial tasting but if you offer suggestions, they are super accommodating. The food was a concern for me. I ended up making an appointment for a private tasting and tailoring the menu options with my preferences. And even though I tasted the food and felt confident about my choices, the negative reviews about the food had me second guessing myself a little. However, the day of my wedding, many of my guests complimented the food with genuine praise. We chose the short rib and airline chicken breast with asparagus and garlic mash potatoes. The hors d'oeuvres were also a great hit. My faves were the cheese board set-up, shrimp cocktail shooters and the tomato and caprese skewers (I asked them to add basil which made them perfect). I'm kind of snobby about wine. We brought in our own white and the red was okay. We chose their cab. I didn't love it but it was decent. \r \rMy experience at Los Verdes was amazing. I had a dream Palos Verdes wedding without feeling guilty about the price tag. My wedding was gorgeous and perfect at this venue.

When my husband and I were searching for wedding venues, we thought we had seen it all and were frustrated at the fact that we had yet to find one that included all of our needs, including the price. It wasn't until we stumbled upon Los Verdes Golf Course where our wedding dreams became a reality. This venue had it all - beautiful views of the pacific ocean with lots of greenery and palm trees, large banquet space with a huge dance floor, and lots of parking for our guests. \r\rAlso, the staff at Los Verdes was just the best! We worked with Jacquelyn Kaintz and she was amazing! She was so patient in working with us and answering all of our questions and concerns. She helped provide recommendations on other vendors as well as how to get the most for our buck. She (nor any of the other staff members) never made us feel like we were just a customer. We felt very welcomed and a part of the group.\r\rI highly recommend this venue for weddings and other social events.

We had our wedding here. They were very professional, worked with us when it came to special needs or coordination which made us feel like what we wanted mattered, and I got the feeling it did matter. The day of the event all of those there to help did so perfectly. When I asked for something it was executed and with a genuine smile. Honestly, I cannot say what your experience will be but ours was outstanding! I highly recommend Los Verdes. (Also note for the price some wedding can cost, we were able to make this a rather affordable event.

We chose this venue because we wanted an ocean view ceremony and their prices were still reasonable compared to the other venues in PV, but you get what you pay for. The food was sub-par, up-charged for 3-pieces of asparagus for a side, salmon was over-cooked and the salad was boring. There were golfers teeing off on the tee where the ceremony was setup. One of them cursed very loud in the middle of our vows. One drove his cart on the path thru the pictures. The biggest reason I will never recommend this venue is because of how they advised us to pay for the bar and then we ended up paying more than TRIPLE what we originally were advised. Not only that but no one was given the final receipt that night, so I had no idea how bad it was until my card was charged- which I asked them not to charge until I had seen the bill- pretty slimy if you as me. Your wedding is what you make of it, but when you are spending this kind of money, you expect that there aren't issues like this. My advice: pay the extra cost for one of the nicer venues.

Of the venues researched in the area, by far Los Verdes was the most reasonable yet having had the wedding ceremony and reception there I can't imagine having it anywhere else. It's just ideal for a wedding especially if it's in the evening as all the golfers are gone by the time the ceremony starts and the grounds are just stunning.

They were extremely professional in all of our encounters before the wedding, and you will love the view and atmosphere the venue provides, I just have to say I would be warned about some of the details.\r\rThey are very busy so most of the time, we didn't get a response without having to ask for one multiple times. We also got a call about a payment being due a couple of months earlier than it should have been, which they apologized for.\r\rWhen an emergency came up, it was only 2 days after we paid and they refused to refund any portion of it. So we had no choice, we had to just make it happen so we wouldn't lose that huge deposit that was thousands of dollars. That I can understand, they can't just be flexible in this industry and I couldn't complain about that.\r\rI would have overlooked all of the above if it wasn't for a few of the negatives from the actual wedding day. Your wedding is something you spend so many hours, days, weeks, months on planning, and you put so much of your heart into it... the things I trusted them to do didn't get done the way I specifically requested. The crew set the tables up quickly and didn't do what I asked, so the table numbers were just leaning on the flowers, which covered up the expensive jars I bought and some of the expensive flowers. Their projector wasn't very good so our slideshow looked very 8-bit unless you were directly in front of it, which most people weren't with the side-of-the-dance-floor table arrangement.\r\rThe coordinator you talk to so much before the day isn't actually there during your reception, so everything you hoped would be done a certain way was just handled by others who didn't get the info, so it isn't done the way you hoped.\r\rWhen I talked to them about this after the wedding, they didn't do anything to try and make up for it at all.\r\rI have to say that all of our guests loved it... the view, the weather, the pretty golf course, the pretty drapes inside of the venue... but as a bride, you just can't trust that they will do what you ask and give you the wedding you planned.\r\rI'm actually the most laid-back bride, all of my vendors got 5 out of 5 reviews and I was so happy with everything else! If you are also laid-back, you might be okay? Otherwise, you just can't trust that they will carry out the vision of what you hoped for.

We booked a wedding package for our ceremony and rehearsal for 100 guests for $10,000. It included a cocktail hour, dinner, 2 hours open bar and a cake. \r\rThere were a few things that slipped through the cracks, but for the most part...the food, location and service was great!

This vendor was outstanding. The venue was used for my wedding. The service was top notch. The staff were very accommodating for all of our special requests. We first booked the novelty date 9/10/11 but later had to change the date because we bought a house. They changed the date without any problems. The only problem was that the initial package we had with them was changed. The pricing went up but a lot of cool stuff was added. The tasting was questionable and we were worried about the food. The day of the wedding came and we were pleased with the all the food and our family and guests raved about the selection. We had the salmon and chicken cordon blue buffet style with a ham carving station. Everything was so delicious. The money was well spent. Everything went absolutly perfect. The only thing that could of been better was if the flowers in front of the water fountain were in bloom. I really couldn't find anything negative to say but it was interesting that the coordinator there was switched three times over the span of the two years, but all information was passed along, and everything went along without a hitch. Our coordinator at the end, Jackie was very nice and accommodating We opted to get married on the green instead of the gazeebo because our wedding party was so big. the ocean view is lovly. the dance floor was huge. the drappery was beautiful. I just loved this place and will definatley do something here again

This location has a beautiful ocean view. The golf course makes it plush green as well as all the pine trees. The building itself is outdated, inside and out. There is a salmon color paint on the wood outside and popcorn ceiling inside. There is a beautiful drapery that hangs from the ceiling in the center of the room that needs to be washed and the Christmas lights inside it need to be updated. If the rules are followed and people don't tee-off at the hole that the vendor \"promises you\" it will be closed off, you may have a quiet, lovely, focused wedding. If you're unfortunate like us, and a group of four people tee-off five feet from your ceremony as you're trying to say your vows, I'm sure you too will have an angry groom and a bunch of distracted guests.

While this is a lovely place to take pictures outside, the director in charge of weddings is incompetent. Even after confirming the most important details several times, they still couldn't get it right. It was clear that the manager had no interest in making things right and even lacked basic common sense. Beware!

On a cliff overlooking the ocean. HUGE dancefloor. Tulle over the dancefloor. The salmon.;The site manager is great but watch out for the serving staff the day of your event. They are rude and careless with your belongings. Leave nothing unattended.

The setting is very beautiful- the golf course overlooking the ocean is amazing for pictures! All the trees and green grass lend themselves to great shots, too. Inside, it is beautifully decorated and the big dance floor is a huge plus if you have a dancing crowd, as we did!;You do need to have someone go up early to be sure everything gets set up as desired... my florist arrived to find that none of the chairs had been slipcovered, none of the table numbers had been placed and the guest favors were still sitting in a box in the corner... i think it was my fault for not giving them specific directions, but you'd think they would have worked it out!

panoramic view of the ocean location;If you have your reception on the green, it is not as private because there are people from the public playing golf (possibly during your ceremony). Also, although there is a nice view of the ocean, the location of where the sun hits doesn't allow for good beach/ocean pictures because it is way tooo bright. Kind of a bummer

Greg Varley (Events Director) I started my journey in the wedding industry back in 2017 after a career working at the Disneyland Resort. I was lucky enough to go from making one type of magic to another! Since then I have been a part of over 400 weddings from starting at from the initial details all the way to the grand sparkler exit as a married couple.We are so excited to welcome you to our beautiful venue and honored that you have chosen to allow us into your special day!
