This is an absolutely gorgeous venue. Our friends and family could not stop raving about how amazing this location was, being right between Park City and Salt Lake City! But more than anything, Mark, Amy, and their entire staff really make the day perfect. First, Mark was very accommodating on the timing of us touring the property since we were visiting from out of town and was quick to respond to all our emails moving forward. He is not kidding when he says you will not need your own wedding planner or day of coordinator. Amy is truly all you will need! Amy helped us with all our details prior to the wedding, including helping with table layouts, menu choices, bar logistics, and a full day of timeline, etc. Any stress we were feeling Amy was quick to put us at ease. On the day of our wedding, Amy and her team handled everything with no concern! They set up all the tables, centerpieces, linen, handled vendor coordination, put up umbrellas as guests arrived, turned on the heaters when it got cold, everything!! The wedding events ran so smoothly and that’s by and large due to all the work Amy and the staff were doing! They really took care of us and our group the entire night. You have to use their catering service which was convenient, and the food was SO good. Our guests went back for more and we're even talking about it the next day. Mark and Amy really try to do everything they can to help bring your wedding vision to life. Thank you to the entire Louland Falls crew for helping make our day absolutely perfect!! If you’re into mountains, red rocks, waterfalls, this is the place to get married! Reviewed on 10-10-2023

Louland Falls was a dream venue! The team here is amazing & handled so many of the details that add stress & money to a wedding day. Amy was the perfect day of coordinator and answered all our questions leading up the wedding and worked with all our vendors to make the entire day perfect. They made every dream and wish come true. We had full confidence in their team and didn’t have to worry about a thing. Not only is this venue stunning, it is set up to accommodate guests and flows beautifully from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Our guests loved being able to explore the trails, play games, and be in such a beautiful venue. The food is AMAZING and so well priced for wedding food. Mark worked with us to create the perfect menu for our guests. The only complaint that our guests had was that they wished the wedding was longer & we wish we would’ve been able to dance for longer! We cannot recommend this venue enough!! First, the scenery is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a natural outdoor setting in the mountains for your big day - this is your place. The venue is very well cared for; there are many beautiful backdrops for pictures, and it is easy to get to. The venue requires you their catering service, which made things way easier for us, and the food was delicious!! There are monthly tastings during the off-season, so you can visit the venue and get excited for your big day while tasting most of the menu before you decide what will fit your day. They also provide recommendations and connections to other vendors who have worked there before. You don't have to use any of these recommendations, but we did and we are SO glad we did. Most of all, the staff (Mark, Amy, Megan, Tom and the whole team) are incredible. From the first time we visited, we felt welcome and supported. It really is a huge bonus to have day of coordinators (yes more than one!) who help with the planning along the way and then execute the plan on the big day.The team is more than willing to accommodate your vision and work within your budget to make your big day everything you hope for. They went above and beyond on our wedding day to ensure we and our guests were comfortable. Our day was magical, and we attribute much of that to Louland Falls! If you can find a date here, don't hesitate to book! Reviewed on 05-08-2023

Louland Falls is a gorgeous venue and the coordinator team (Amy, Estella, and Renee) were top notch. We originally selected Louland Falls as our venue two years in advance and they were very helpful in offering their knowledge and expertise both in the months leading up to and during the wedding. We had some light rain during our ceremony and the coordinators quickly provided a solution, which reduced our stress in the moment significantly. All that said, there are a few areas in our experience that have room for improvement. We received tons of compliments from our families and guests about the quality of food provided by the Louland Falls catering team, but there were a few vegetarian/vegan diet restrictions in our guest list and we had a plan in place, but learned afterwards that the offerings didn’t quite match what was discussed. Louland Falls also has a steep hill to get to the venue and we had contracted their golf cart driver to ferry our guests up to the venue before the ceremony and down at the end of the evening, but we learned afterwards that the golf cart didn’t run, resulting in our guests walking up a steep incline. Overall, the venue was picturesque and we believe Louland Falls was an excellent choice! Reviewed on 23-07-2023

We truly found that in Louland, not only is the view incredible, but they have the tables, linens, lights, and caterer all there. Mark and his team of coordinators were true professionals - the food (catered by Mark, which also made the wedding planning much easier) was SO good - how often do guests rave about the food at a wedding??? They did for ours! The coordinators (Megan and Nicole) were super organized and kept the day flowing well, the bartenders were fun and personable, and the dance floor was large enough for over 100 guests to be dancing at the same time. The gorgeous outdoor scene makes it where you don’t need to think about or spend money on excess decor, because it’s naturally perfect! It’s a special place for guests to visit and spend a night of dinner and dancing at. Plenty of space for 200 guests. We had the worst experience at this place. We booked our date back in 2019 for Sep 2020. Due to COVID, we requested to push our date back to Sep 2021. We made this request to change dates in July 2020, and had to pay additional to change our date. Mark confirmed that the date was available and happily accepted the extra money we had to pay. and just 2 days ago 11/10/2020, Mark emails us and tells us that the date we switched to back in July was double booked and he has no other available dates! Why did it take 4 months to tell us our date was no good!? Mark made no real effort to fix his mistake. Because it took 4 months to let us know all the other dates were booked and all he could do was give us a refund. Our wedding is less than a year away and Mark screwed us over royally. All other venues are booked because we weren't the only ones to have to push our date back. Worst experience EVER! Oh and we are still waiting for our refund. Reviewed on 13-11-2020

Working with Mark the owner was awesome. He gave me best practices, advice and was all about making sure I as the bride was happy. - Venue: Gorgeous location where the beauty of the surrounding nature speaks for itself. - Dog-friendly: We definitely wanted to include our dogs in our ceremony and this place is 100% dog friendly and they really actually love dogs so they are good people!- Food: Sometimes wedding food can be hit or miss but ours bomb, even hours later when we were eating it in bed at 3am after the wedding. Mark also accommodated a bunch of food allergies for me without compromising quality. - The service: Every single employee was AWESOME. They are so knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He was often quick to respond by text or email and if there was a delay, he always apologized and explained why. We had so many comments about how stunning the property is. If you book with Louland, make sure that you have your entourage assigned different tasks. They have an on-site planner that you meet the day of, and if you don't have a liaison then they have to talk to you--and trust me, you don't have time to think about everything on your wedding day. I forgot to assign a driver to the golf cart, so it sat unused all evening and my guests who were going to be driven up from the parking lot (it's steep) had to hike up instead. I mentioned it a couple of times to the coordinator, but nothing happened with it because of everything else going on. The food was good (what little I tasted of it, but I didn't hear any complaints) and they had everything needed for cake cutting, the band, signage, etc. Reviewed on 29-08-2019

I do wish there was more communication from the staff in terms or coordinating everything that was needed on site. I didn't meet the coordinators until the day of the wedding, which added some stress that could have been eased if there was a plan made a week before, or even a couple days before the wedding/reception. The food was excellent, we did run out of food, its hard in UT because people do NOT RSVP, so you just don't know how many people are coming. We did try to warn the venue that my husband has a HUGE family, and they will just show up, but they didn't seem concerned about it. We ran out of food in the last hour or so, which wasn't the worst thing that happened, but my some of my family didn't even end up eating some of the food because we were so busy in line. We were told that they would reserve plates for us, but I'm not sure what happened to them. Like I said above, some of these issues could have been avoided with some coordination and checklists prior to the wedding, That's the only reason I give this venue 4 out of 5 stars. But, the one thing that really turned us off from Louland was the experience we had from the very start. Mark, the owner, wasn't very welcoming on the phone and seemed sort of scattered when we spoke, which worried me. Then we showed up on the date and time we had agreed to a few weeks before and he had forgotten all about our tour! He was super standoff-ish when we arrived and didn't even apologize for his lack of professionalism. He then told us to show ourselves around and when we were done he gave us a quick, half-effort explanation of what to expect. From beginning to end, everything just ran in the background and went smoothly. Not once did we have to worry or stress about something from the planning process all through the day of the wedding...it all went so great! We also loved that they had a lot of items that we could choose to use if we wanted (like linens for example). Mark was always quick to respond to emails and picked up the phone when we called which put our minds at ease. The venue itself is just stunning. Each one of our guests commented how beautiful it was. It’s honestly just a hidden gem! The grounds are kept very nice, the arbor makes a statement with its size yet somehow just blends in with the surroundings all at the same time. The grass was green, everything is surrounded by trees and greenery and the red rock walls are stunning. Walkways were cleared and the waterfalls are fantastic! You really couldn’t ask for a more beautiful wedding venue than this and a better staff to work with. Some of our guests actually guessed the total cost of our wedding as double what it actually was...and most of that was due to how wonderful the venue was! We loved that there was also an indoor area where the food was served from and also in case there was inclement weather, we had a place to go. The spaces for the bride and groom to get ready in were also fantastic with a “common” space that you could hang out in before everything started. We couldn’t have had a better experience and a more perfect wedding than we had and the venue is what set the tone for the entire experience. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! Do not skip on Louland Falls as your wedding venue, we highly recommend it! Reviewed on 26-06-2018
Erik Anderson(groom)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-12-2018 We had originally booked with Louland Falls with another operator but she had to turn the operation of the venue to Mark (who runs Cosmopolitan Catering). The handover from her to him was smooth and all existing agreements regarding the contract we had signed were honored. Mark met with us at the venue a couple of times to go over planning and layout of the wedding and for the most part was responsive to our requests. I did send an email requesting a scan of the layout he had made in one of our meetings and never got a response. The day of the wedding it was a little colder than we were expecting and he and his staff worked with us to accomodate the weather by moving the tables inside and that worked out. Two reasons for giving a little bit of a lower rating on some items. The main one is that the bridal suite had an odor of raw sewage in it. I'm not sure it's a persistent problem but it was noticeable by everyone in there and not a great way to start off the day. The second is that the two women working the venue asked my wife a few times during the reception about the timing of things. It would have been vastly preferable for them to not bother her and be respectful of the limited time we had with family. They should have stuck to the predefined schedule or at least asked someone else and not her. All that being said, the venue was a beautiful spot for our wedding and everyone had a great time. I would recommend them for future couples considering a venue if the issues with the bridal suite are addressed. Reviewed on 02-11-2017

NEW OWNERSHIP ALERT- AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!! This venue was just sold to a caterer and the place went from a 10 to a 0. My friend just got married at this venue (after signing on with the previous owners) and they got hosed. They let the grass die- yellow dead grass for your wedding pictures. And they don't care and didn't give the bride and groom a discount. NO WEDDING COORDINATOR- which they actively say in the contract and on the website. The owner only allowed set up 2 hours before the wedding and while my friends hauled all the decorations, alcohol, etc., the 'coordinator' and 'staff' sat around watching them. ZERO help. Friends set up the entire wedding. All throughout the wedding the owners child and/or useless coordinator were sitting on a chair in full view of the guests on their phone or laptop. Um, what?!?!? The waiters didn't fill water glasses until halfway through the dinner after a guest told them to do their job. A champagne toast was in the contract and the owner on the day of the wedding told the groom he wouldn't have the waiters pass the champagne and to tell the guests to get the champagne at the bar. Has this person never been to a wedding???? Who does that? After the groom got really upset (on his wedding day!) and argued with the owner he finally agreed to have the champagne passed. Possibly one of the two people sitting around on their phones could have helped out? Oh wait one was dressed in jeans at a semi formal wedding. Classy...The owner also made a new rule at the reception and closed down the bar early. When the laws were reiterated to him about alcohol and timing he stated 'well those are my personal rules'. Brides and Grooms- if u want to argue with a venue owner the entire day of your wedding, have dead grass for your ceremony and pay for a coordinator to do nothing - then this is the place for you! The florist that did the wedding stated they had never seen the place look that bad and would not be referring any clients there with this new ownership. Florist also asked if the couple would get money back for the dead grass. I feel horrible for all the couples that booked this place before the change of ownership. The new owner clearly thinks he can just buy a venue, sit back and let the money roll in. What was once a wonderful wedding venue is now a disgrace. Good luck to those brides and grooms coming up- you'll need it. June 2015 was this wedding. Reviewed on 03-07-2017

It definitely did not live up to its $6,000 price tag, so I'd suggest booking this venue when prime-time is over and it's less expensive. Reviewed on 29-08-2015

If that wasn't enough, Lize and Rachel and their staff were incredibly helpful, they did everything for us, even many things we didn't even think of - they made things even more wonderful. I've heard of pampering the Bride, but as the Mother of the Bride I felt pampered too! I was able to just enjoy the celebration, I cannot thank them enough or recommend them more highly! They helped everything run smoothly the day of the wedding and were incredibly helpful and easy to work with the months leading up to the wedding. I could not imagine getting everything put together without them, they even did a great job putting out our decoration and picked up some items from Diamond Rental for us :)\rIf you are getting married go here, you won't regret it! Toni Lobato(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-06-2013 Everything turned out splendid! They were willing to work with us on everything, and even let us go up early to set up. I was very impressed! My dog was a part of my wedding as well, and they were happy to let her attend. They even held onto her for part of the night when she got a little overwhelmed with all the people. There wasn't a single request that I made that they didn't work with. And the place is beautiful. The waterfalls were gorgeous, and the cliffs made a beautiful backdrop. Not a single complaint. \r\rAlso, if you're military, they give discounts! Reviewed on 24-07-2013

Rachel Bennion(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-10-2012 Louland Falls is a great venue for a smaller, private, outdoor wedding. The staff we helpful and went out of their way to ensure we could set up the ceremony just as we wanted. Little is required for decorating because of the great location, but be prepared to have to take care of your personal touches (the staff will help a little). I consider this venue one of the best I have seen in northern Utah for sure. Reviewed on 18-11-2012

Candace Williams(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-08-2012 Louland Falls is mother nature at her best. They were the best wedding venue to work with from start to finish. Maria was wonderful to meet with and start a blue print of our dream wedding and then we met with the owner Lize who was amazing and so accomodating to us. She was there the day of the wedding making sure everything went perfect and helping set up our decorations. Every guest there told me how beautiful the venue was and that they had no idea it was even there. A true gem! Reviewed on 18-09-2012
Kristen Bishop(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-07-2011 I loved having my wedding at Rose Sachs Garden (now Louland Falls). They keep the landscape up really well. It has a great grassy area for a ceremony, lots of space on cement for tables and enough room for dancing and an indoor portion for the catering area and tables (or I suppose dancing). They had enough outlets for all electrical purposes I needed. They worked with us nicely on some specific details. They switched owners from the time I booked it to the time I had my wedding. They had made several good changes that improved the look. There is a natural waterfall and a man-made waterfall that has a nice ambiance to it. \r I didn't have to meet with the coordinator too many times. She does have a bit of a tendency to get off topic when you are discussing an item. She's easy to work with. She was a little slow on returning phone calls, emails and texts with me, but I eventually got the needed information.\r I'm very glad I had my wedding there. Reviewed on 04-10-2011

Tiffany Haugland(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2011 I found Rose Sachs Gardens at a bridal expo and we were invited to a catering tasting at the venue. It was GORGEOUS. My husband and I live in Salt Lake, but our wedding was in Florida. If we had chosen to have our wedding in Salt Lake, we would have chosen Rose Sachs, 100%. We walked around, took pictures, envisioned where we would do everything. It is a beautiful, natural, romantic setting that will make a perfect venue for any wedding. Reviewed on 20-07-2011
Anissa Elkins(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-05-2011 Maria saved my wedding day. It was supposed to rain, but she allowed us to work around the rain. The waterfalls in back were absolutely gorgeous! I wish the guests could have seen more of them; however, due to the large amount of rainfall this year, the creek had over-flowed. I wish I would have more time to decorate the night before or day of, but overall I was really pleased with how my day turned out. Reviewed on 07-07-2011
