Elegant Farm Weddings Nestled in Wine Country

Steeped in history and nestled along the rolling countryside of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lovingston Winery is a wedding venue located in Lovingston, Virginia. Established over 115 years ago, this estate blends the peaceful simplicity of the countryside with glorious vines spanning for miles. The family-run business strives to create a sense of calm here, offering couples a home away from home for their once-in-a-lifetime event. Lovingston Winery has multiple locations to support the ceremony and reception festivities. All spaces are complete with vineyards and mountain views to form the backdrop to the romantic affair. Sitting on over 11 acres of vines, Josie’s Knoll Vineyard is a popular space to wed, offering breathtaking scenery to savor. On top of Josie’s Knoll is a beautifully refurbished farmhouse. Initially built in 1906, this farmhouse exudes an old-world charm and sits beneath centuries-old oak trees, hooded from influences of city life. Inside, couples and guests are welcome to four beautifully-appointed bedrooms including a spacious wedding suite to get ready in before walking down the aisle. The house comes with top-of-the-line appliances, heated bathroom floors, a contemporary-fitted 6 jet shower, and bay windows to feast on the spectacular views. Toward the back of the property is the log cabin, featuring a southern-style front porch and some of the best vistas of Lovingston. An open-concept kitchen, stone fireplace, and three cozy bedrooms complete the house for a luxurious overnight stay. The friendly team at Lovingston Winery is dedicated to each couple, operating a one-wedding-per-weekend policy to give each one their utmost attention. The group welcomes ceremonies of all types, ranging from civil unions to vow renewals, allowing all couples to visit this magnificent estate. The staff has event rentals available to enhance a couple’s day and expert knowledge of wines to elevate the celebratory meal. On-site parking is available at the property, allowing couples and guests to check out from modern-day stresses and unwind in the magic of the countryside.

Tessa Riley Lovingston Winery Owner Tessa Riley (Owner)

A Midwest girl at heart with a passion for art, horses, and finding diamonds in the rough, my family and I fell in love with everything the Virginian countryside offers: rolling hills, beautiful mountains, and a life enjoyed outside. From the moment I first set foot on the property of Lovingston Winery, I couldn't help but daydream about where horses could roam, how many oak trees were just begging for swings, and how a wedding in the vines and a party on the knoll would be more memorable than I could ever imagine. Above all else, I want to share this place and those dreams with others
