WOWWW!!! 10/10 highly recommend Patrick Properties!!!! We had our wedding at Lowndes Grove and worked with Kailin Good and it was nothing short of incredible – from the tasting to the food and beverages at the wedding, everything was over the top!!! Many of our guests said this was the most beautiful and best run wedding they had ever been to! Not only is the venue breathtaking but the service and food quality is top notch!!! Patrick Properties is so accommodating and helped me create the perfect specialty cocktails for our big day which were a huge hit!!! PPHG is so organized and eager to help and they make sure everything runs so smoothly!!! So thankful we chose to work with this incredible team!! If you want a flawless wedding with show stopper food and beverages where you don’t have to worry about a thing, then book with PPHG now!!!!!!

Amazing! Highly recommend working with Patrick Properties as they are extremely detail oriented, very supportive, and never miss a beat throughout the whole wedding planning process. We had our wedding at Lowndes Grove, planned by Carolina Occasions, and it was nothing short of incredible. Everything was over the top in the best way possible. The food and beverages were out of this world and our guests were raving about it. The venue speaks for itself and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to get married at. So thankful we chose to work with this incredible team.

My husband and I got married at Lowndes Grove on October 21, 2023. It was the first venue we looked at and the ONLY venue we looked at, as we knew this was where our dream wedding had to happen. We booked Lowndes Grove two years prior as we knew we wanted a Saturday and October is the best month for weather! PPHG nailed it on the food and the drinks! The food was unbelievable and we had champagne passed around during cocktail hour. Our guests have been telling us that it was by far the best wedding they had ever been to! I highly recommend Lowndes Grove for your wedding venue!

We had our wedding on Dec. 15th 2023. We were so lucky to get married at our dream venue. It was absolutely perfect! Since we booked, about 11 months out, the communication and professionalism was top tear. The whole time they made sure we were taken care of and they were there to answer any questions we had. On the day, the staff was extrodinary. All I heard from our guests after the wedding was how phenomenal the food was. Everything was high quality and everything we wanted. We are extremely happy with our decision to have our wedding held and catered at lowndes grove. We highly recommend this venue. Thank you to all who made it so amazing! We love you

We truly could not have dreamed of a better place to get married than Lowndes Grove. The venue and setting is spectacular - the view from the tent onto the water at sunset is unparalleled, and the variety of spaces (inside the house, the lawn, the tent, the dock) delighted our guests and created a beautiful and seamless flow from ceremony through send off. Beyond the beautiful venue, though, everything was executed with perfection. The food was outstanding, and the culinary team was enthusiastically flexible in accommodating some of our special requests. The same goes for the drinks - the cocktails were well prepared and the PPHG team helped us procure a few special beers that we were particularly interested in having. The service and hospitality throughout entire process, and especially that night, were wonderful. Everything throughout dinner was executed to perfection, with professional and seamless plate drops at every table. Moreover, every staff member we interacted with was gracious and attentive. We cannot thank Kailin and the entire PPHG team enough - Kailin was a true joy to work with, and couldn’t have been more welcoming, detail-oriented, flexible, and professional throughout the entire planning experience. We are deeply grateful to the PPHG team for the wedding of our dreams!

My husband and I got married at Lowndes Grove on 4/7/23 and it was the best day we ever could've imagined. We worked with Kailin Good and she was amazing. From our tasting in December to our wedding day in April, she made sure everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful experience. Lowndes Grove is an absolutely beautiful venue, and the PPHG team is extremely professional and kind. I would not change anything about my experience with PPHG or our wedding day. It was perfect.

I feel so lucky that my husband and I hosted our wedding at Lowndes Grove. This venue is the most beautiful in all of Charleston and has to be one of the best in the entire country. Every member of the PPHG team that we had the honor of working with were so outstanding, accommodating, and friendly. There were many aspects of this venue that makes it superior to others. Part of renting this venue is that it opens up for the bridal party to get ready in the house starting at 9am. We were able to explore the entire property and watch everything get set up throughout the day, while being served lunch and mimosas by PPHG staff and made over by the hair and make-up artists. In addition to this, Lowndes Grove also provides the front yard for the ceremony, space inside/outside the house for cocktail hour, and the river-front tent for the reception, so guests don't have to worry about transportation to and from different parts of the night. The venue is also located in downtown Charleston, so the majority of the guests had a 5-10 minute Uber ride from their hotels to the property. You cannot beat the location!! The food is also top notch. PPHG chefs work in a kitchen in the house, so this venue operates as a restaurant and produces food that is better than most restaurants I have been to in Charleston. This was such an added bonus to me as quality of food is important to me and in my experience attending other weddings, it is hard to find mass-produced food the is truly delicious. I would suggest doing the plated dinner as the servers operated on the same level of elegance as a fine-dining restaurant, delivering everyones plates in a synchronized manner at each table. I also want to give a special shout out to my wedding planner, Shannon, from Hill & Co. Creative. She worked effortlessly with PPHG as she has orchestrated numerous weddings at Lowndes Grove and developed a great working relationship with their employees. My wedding day was in late July and was unfortunately hit with several rain-showers throughout the day and night, but the way in which PPHG and my wedding planner adapted to the unpredictable weather made the storms nearly unnoticeable to the wedding guests, my husband, and I. This venue has plan B's for bad weather and will not let it ruin your big day. Despite all of the rain, multiple wedding guests were approaching my husband and I and telling us it was by far the best wedding and venue they had ever attended. I could go on and on about how fantastic this venue is and how blessed we were to have our wedding here, but I am limited on characters in this review. Do not hesitate to have your wedding here if you are able to!! It will be undoubtedly so perfect and something you will be proud of to share with all of your loved ones forever!

We had the opportunity to work with Patrick Properties Hospitality Group for our April 2023 wedding at Lowndes Grove, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. The venue itself is stunning, the in-house catering was excellent, and the PPHG staff were incredible to work with. From start to finish, the communication, the planning process, the tasting experience, their high attention to detail, and overall execution was perfect! They do an excellent job customizing and catering to any special needs or requests, and making sure the bride and groom are taken care of on the wedding day! They exceeded our expectations in every way. Our guests absolutely raved over the entire event. We continue to receive compliments on how amazing our wedding was! PPHG and Lauren were outstanding. They made the entire process of planning a destination wedding a joy and took away the stress. All of our guests said it was the best food they've had at a wedding and the most beautiful venue they've ever been to-- I wanted to move right in to Lowndes Grove and never leave! We wouldn't change a thing about our wedding day or the planning leading up to it-- we trusted PPHG entirely and they exceeded all expectations. We hope to plan another event with them in the future because they were that amazing. Can't recommend using PPHG enough!!

The Patrick Properties Team and Peninsula Events group were an absolute pleasure to work with from minute one in planning our destination 10-Year Vow Renewal.Abby Frye and the team (Taylor, Emma, Rachel, Becky and I am sure so many others behind the scenes) made my wife and I feel special and important from the beginning of our engagement. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication was everything we could’ve asked for and more. All their passion and efforts that went into making our day so magical at Lowndes Grove was on full display with the beauty of the venue and coordination of all the vendors. Patrick Properties and Kelly did an outstanding job at our daughter’s April 22, 2023 wedding reception. We could not have asked for anything more. After a torrential downpour, the area was reset perfectly. Kelly took time to help develop our version of the Espresso Martini- which was such a hit guest we’re taking trays of them from the servers! We look forward to our second daughter’s wedding reception!

It is hard to put into words how amazing the venue Lowndes Grove is and the entire staff of PPHG properties. From start to finish, our entire wedding planning process and actual wedding day could have not been more perfect. The attention to detail during the tasting day and phenomenal service from the entire staff during the actual wedding is truly unmatched. The food is INCREDIBLE, the grounds are stunning, and it is very easy to get to for your guests traveling out of town. In addition, PPHG has the BEST wedding planner in the business. My husband and I live in NYC and Abby truly made the entire experience so seamless and fun. The amount of people that went up to us during our wedding complimenting how amazing it was and it really was because Abby gave us the best options Charleston has to offer for every element a wedding entails. I could not recommend a place more to host your wedding day. It was best day of our lives because it was at Lowndes Grove.

From inquiring, to touring with Rachel, to stopping by for several site visits, to feeling informed along the way, to the tasting with Kelly, to the wedding day...incredible!! You all are what we call \"Yes people!\" I cannot come up with a situation where I was ever told \"no.\"As a planner, it has been a unique experience to be a bride and to see everything from a new lens. Lowndes Grove totally speaks for itself when you step foot on the property. Waterfront, grand, serene, and elegant in every way. It is to no surprise that you all host some of the most beautiful weddings in the world.Then, you have the people. Rachel and Kelly were as warm and excited and genuine as they come. I had a relationship with them that was likely a little more \"vendor-esque\" than most brides and I loved that they met me where I was being both planner and bride. Then, you have the food. Our guests have not stopped talking about the food. I really cannot emphasize this enough. They keep talking and talking and talking about it. Mason and I are \"foodies\" and food was always important to us. With an exclusive caterer though, you get what you get. Luckily between your menu and your reviews, there was little to be concerned about. Either way, you far exceeded our expectations.I designed a wedding that I was very proud of, and catering met us right where we were. Thank you so so so much. I'd get married at Lowndes Grove again and again and again! Thank you all for your hospitality and partnership. You are top notch!!

As a wedding planner getting married, finding the correct venue and venue management company was at the top of my list! A venue that also takes care of the food and beverage component provided a much better planning experience - PPHG does not disappoint. Their food is wonderful and their staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. I could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else other than Lowndes Grove. My guests were wow-ed from start to finish. It was truly the best day of my life. I cannot thank the PPHG staff enough. They are the DREAM TEAM!!!!

Even as long-time locals to Charleston, the process of finding a wedding venue and planner was anything but easy. After touring at least a half dozen venues and not finding exactly what we liked, we reached out to PPHG. As soon as we drove through the gates of Lowndes Grove and down the lane of majestic oaks we knew it was the perfect place to host our wedding (and this was before evening seeing inside of the gorgeous house and the world record-setting longest and most picture perfect dock!) It's apparent the pride that PPHG takes in preserving and maintaining its gorgeous portfolio of properties and I think is a testament to its superb event planning capabilities as well as its deep love for preserving the gorgeous history of the holy city. So as excited as we were to host our wedding at the (undisputed) best venue in Charleston, we had no idea how lucky we got to be able to work with Abby Frye & Gabbie Accorsi as our wedding planners. As a bride who works in the events industry, I was most concerned with hiring the 'right' wedding planning to help keep my type A, over-planning self at ease, and Abby knocked everything completely out of the park. The level of detail, professionalism, and care that both Abby and Gabbie shared with us through the entire planning process was top-notch and something I will be thanking them for many years to come (hopefully over a glass of wine or two!)If you decide to book Lowndes Grove (or any of the PPHG venues for your wedding) you can rest assured that the venue, food, drinks and event staff will be the best Charleston has to offer. I am gladly stepping into my new favorite role as PPHGs biggest fan girl, and will recommend them to all newly engaged family and friends! PPHG exceeded all of our expectations and gave us an absolute dream come true wedding day.

Lowndes Grove was everything we could have dreamed of and more!! From the stunning property, to the tent, to the dock and water... you just can't beat it. Our guests are still raving about the sunset, service, venue and food! It truly is one of the prettiest wedding venues I have ever seen. Working with PPHG made the wedding day stress free and fun! Jackie and Kailin were incredible to work with- professional, prompt and so kind. Kailin was there for our tasting to offer guidance but never pushed anything on us. She also made the entire wedding night run so seamlessly. Jackie and Kailin were there every step of the way and answered any and all questions I had. It truly was the best day- from the beautiful ceremony site, to the sunset on the dock, to passed hors d'oeuvres, dinner and drinks, to our cake, to late night passers... the list goes on and on! I will dream of my wedding day and this venue for the rest of my life. If you feel Lowndes is your venue- GO FOR IT. You won't regret it!

Where to start! It’s tough to beat the feeling when you pass through the front gate of the Lowndes Grove estate. Whether it’s the iconic Georgian style architecture, the idyllic views of the Ashley River or the sleepy oak trees scattered throughout the property, it’s a lowcountry scene worthy of celebration. What we couldn’t have imagined, however, was the experience we had working with Abby Frye and Gabbie Accorsi at Peninsula Events. If we were blown away by Lowndes Grove, we hit the jackpot with Abby and Gabbie. It seems there’s a lot of misconceptions when it comes to hiring wedding planners, the first being the title is wildly unfair and inaccurate. I don’t think these two sleep, let alone take a day off. Saying they are “wedding planners” would be like calling your dentist a “cavity filler,” a jockey a “horse rider” or an engineer “good at math;” there’s so much more behind those roles that it wouldn’t just be disrespectful, it’d be borderline illegal! Abby and Gabbie are the epitome of a great team. It’s no surprise that Abby was voted Best Event Planner for Charleston City Paper’s “Best of Charleston 2022”. Together, these two were meticulous in helping us plan, coordinate, manage and successfully execute the wedding of our dreams. They left no stone unturned. It started when they gave our families a tour of Lowndes, helping us visualize the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing and send-off. From there, we met no less than a dozen times - both virtually and in-person - talking through design, layouts, timelines, vendors and more. Their expertise was invaluable; from “can’t miss” options we wouldn’t regret, to potential landmines we might avoid, to their clever and creative tricks keeping us on budget… they really have a gift. The week of our big day, some inclement weather threw us a bit of a curveball. Abby and Gabbie didn’t even blink. They went back to the drawing board, made some adjustments and the wedding was probably even better for it. One of our favorite memories from our wedding was the two of them coming over to check in, giving us an update on timing, telling us what was coming next and invariably handing us a new drink.We truly love Abby Frye and Gabbie Accorsi. We hope to never get married again, but if we throw a 10-yr anniversary party, we know exactly who we’ll be calling!

The food, the service, and the event planners (Abby & Gabbie/Peninsula Events) were top notch! They exceeded our expectations! And did I mention the food?? Amazing!!

We had our wedding at The River House at Lowndes Grove a few days after Hurricane Ian on one of the coldest days in Charleston but the staff made everything run smoothly. Our outdoor seating got moved inside so I'm glad the venue had that option to accommodate our party. Our NY guests raved about the food and the location and access to the dock was a nice touch. Our only complaints are the bartender was making the drinks a bit weak and it was about 58 degrees so it would have helped everyone warm up a bit. They also have quite a bit of rules and specific tent vendors you must use but it is a historic home so it's understandable. We did not get much of a sunset unfortunately due to the weather but the view is breathtaking nonetheless and even more beautiful at night under the lights. Rachel was very responsive and professional and very easy top work with.

I could never really put into words how amazing my daughter’s wedding was at Lowndes Grove! Lauren and her staff could not have been better to work with, from communication during planning to service on the actual day. Lauren was so helpful with menu and advice, and could not have been more pleasant in the whole process. The venue is breath taking on its own, but it takes great people to make the day special, and they are all amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and presented so beautifully. Our guests raved about everything! I could not recommend having your event at this wonderful location more!

My husband and I booked Lowndes Grove after only seeing it via FaceTime in 2019. I had seen dozens of other venues at this point, but I knew from the moment I saw it, this was where I wanted to get married and it did not disappoint! From the very beginning, Erin has been an incredible sales manager, turned friend. She worked with us as we navigated planning a destination wedding during the pandemic and then when we decided to postpone. Her communication was always timely, thoughtful and thorough. When we finally had our big day this past April, it could not have gone better! The attention to detail Molly and the rest of the PPHG staff had throughout the day was second to none. Our guests left saying this was the best wedding food they have ever had and that the whole experience was so elevated it made them feel like they were living in a movie. It truly is a magical place and the sunset over the water is to die for. I would recco Lowndes Grove 100000000x over!

If I could give 10 stars I would! We held our wedding at this venue a little less than a month ago and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Not only is the house in immaculate condition but it is so well maintained it truly takes you back in time. The grounds are meticulously kept and the full access dock and it's views are something no other venue can offer you in the area. My guests had nothing but the highest of praise commenting that they had never been to a more beautiful wedding. Catering (including cake) and service staff exceeded my expectations. I have never had better wedding food and no one ever had to wait in a line for food or beverage. Shout out to Terry who set up my getting ready breakfast and worked the bar. He went above and beyond to make sure I, the bride, as well as my guests had everything we needed and more. Give him a raise! If you go with this venue I would highly recommend hiring Abby Frye as your wedding planner. She is truly the best in the business. Her and her staff will do anything and I mean ANYTHING to make your dream event. For example, when a guest accidentally dropped a oyster shooter in front of me and red sauce completely covered the front of my dress (GASP!) Abby pulled me into a side room immediately and Gabby (her amazing assistant) LICKED IT OFF MY DRESS and got the rest off with a tide pen. It was like nothing happened. You will not find a more committed and knowledgeable staff elsewhere! They made wedding planning fun and non-stressful and I don't know how I would have done it without them. If you want your dream wedding, this is the place!

Almost one year since our wedding, and I am finally writing the 5 star review that Lowndes Grove deserves. I have dreamed of my wedding since I was in middle school, and I stumbled upon this venue while searching on Pinterest. Once my heart was set, I quickly set up a tour and soon after secured a date. They were quick to respond and so organized. I always knew they had our event under control. Each person we worked with; Rachel, Becky, and Kailin were all a delight and enhanced our experience. We still talk about our wedding daily, and it somehow exceeded every expectation I had. People say expect things to go wrong on your wedding day, but I didn't hear of one thing that went wrong on ours. They had everything under control, and we left that night knowing it was the best day of our lives. I am so grateful that I found this venue, and had the most amazing wedding planning experience. This venue is everything and more!

PPHG made everything run SO smoothly throughout the entire wedding planning process. Lowndes Grove is obviously beautiful, but the amazing staff at PPHG created the most perfect wedding day I could’ve ever imagined. A massive storm came through right when my reception started, and before I could blink, the staff had moved everything inside the house, built a new bar, re-worked the stations, built walls on the side of the tent, and allowed us to move back outside once the rain passed. I can’t tell you how many people raved about how profession they were, how amazingly they handled the storm, how great the food was, how beautiful the cake was, and how polite the staff was. Thanks for making it the most memorable and perfect day!

Lowndes Grove offered everything we wanted as a reception venue. From the beginning of the process to the day of our wedding. The staff, coordinators, and event planners were helpful and supportive as we navigated the process. Our wedding planner, Lush Floral and Event Stylists, was able to communicate and coordinate with the venue to give us the reception we dreamed of for our day. My bridesmaids and I were able to prepare and relax on the day of the wedding in the upstairs of the home. This was a plus and allowed me to see the venue before it was completed so that I could appreciate the transformation even more😍. The only con was the individuals touring the venue that were allowed to come upstairs. Once we brought this to the attention of the staff, there were no more permitted.THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! At the tasting I specifically asked our event planner if the food would be as tasty and hot on the day of our reception as it was during the tasting...the chef did not disappoint. My guests enjoyed and raved about how delicious the cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and dinner were at the reception. Thank you to the staff of Lowndes Grove for working with my wedding planning team to make this a great experience.

My husband and I got married at Lowndes Grove on 12/11/21 and we couldn’t have been happier with our venue choice. Picking a venue for a destination wedding while you’re full time college/law students during a pandemic was probably the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do, and thankfully Lowndes Grove made our choice so much easier. The second we got to the venue for our tour we knew we’d be getting married there!! Leading up to our wedding day, all of PPHG’s staff were so helpful and always keeping us up to date ask payments, scheduling our food tasting, etc. We knew that we could always email them if we needed a question answered and we always got a prompt reply. It definitely helped make our wedding planning process so much easier. The biggest thing I have to rave about is the food. Our wedding was almost 3 months ago and people are still talking about all of the amazing food we had!!! The food paired with the amazing view of the Ashley River seriously impressed all of our guests who traveled from around the country to celebrate with us. I highly, highly recommend Lowndes Grove to all couples who are looking for an outstanding wedding experience. You won’t find a prettier venue, more professional staff, or better food anywhere in Charleston for your wedding!!!

Honestly, if you're looking at this venue you know that it is STUNNING. I am obsessed with it. We were there all wedding day long and it was amazing. My bridal party and I got ready in the house and had a lovely little lunch with mimosas. Our ceremony was in the front lawn, and even though it was basically as cold as Charleston ever gets and wickedly windy it was SO gorgeous overlooking the river. Cocktail hour in the house was phenomenal and the hors d'oeuvres were so delicious. We then had our reception in the tent adjacent and even had a firepit down by the water. Honestly, just so spectacular. I will say, this is not the most budget friendly option - do keep in mind all the things you'll need to rent because that was a learning. And full disclosure, when we postponed a year due to Covid it was not the most flexible process. But overall, I'm thrilled my wedding was there. It was so beautiful and the day went so smoothly

Lowndes Grove and PPHG are incredible! From the very beginning of initial bookings, to the very end, they were available every step of the way. The staff was extremely kind and made our wedding planning process fun and easy. Having a wedding in January in Charleston, we did not think we would be battling the threat of freezing rain and snow (on top of COVID), but PPHG along with Snyder's rentals and our planner Katie Jean (Katie Jean Events) rearranged orders to ensure our guests were safe and warm. It was truly the most PERFECT day! The site is absolutely breath taking and perfect for all occasions. We highly recommend PPHG and Lowndes Grove for all of your wedding dreams! It was the best day of our lives and we are forever thankful for this team for delivering it! Thank you is not enough!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was one of the most challenging things my husband and I have done — add planning said wedding from 17 hours away and you can consider us crazy! We had a vision for our wedding and this venue and the PPHG team blew it out of the water. They completely exceeded our expectations and some! LG was the first of a dozen venues that we toured and from the second I stepped foot on the property, nothing compared. The natural beauty, southern charm and private location are that of a dream! We got married 6 months ago and I still have family and friends reaching out to me to reminisce about their amazing experience that day — the staff, food, drinks and atmosphere were one of a kind! Although the PPHG team is filled with rockstars, Rachel was our savior. She was there for us from the beginning and through the wedding, even when she no longer had to be. We cannot thank her and the rest of the team enough! If you are considering Lowndes Grove or any other PPHG property, look no further!

I'm not sure where to even begin with how amazing this venue and PPHG is- if I could give it 100 stars I would! First of all, planning with them could not have been smoother- even during a pandemic, they were so on top of things and really put me at ease. They have everything down to a science and are so professional. Next, the food- wow! This is NOT typical wedding food- it is a step above. My father was so wowed by the food- all my guests loved the variety and how delicious everything was! And last, but most important, this place is GORGEOUS. We got married at sunset- there was even a rainbow over the river. All my guests told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too. You just cannot beat the home, river, and grounds. I would never want to get married anywhere else. While it is expensive, you really get what you pay for and it is totally worth every penny. Thank you PPHG!

We just got married in October at Lowndes Grove and can't get over how lucky we were to be able to host our wedding there. Everything was top notch - from the food and service day of to all the wonderful support we received in the lead up to the wedding when nothing seemed certain with Covid. What can we say about the food that hasn't been written in countless other reviews here - simply put it is some of the best food you'll have at any wedding. Every dish seemed to be a knockout - from the small plates to the appetizers and mains. We had guests raving for days about the short rib! The service was also exquisite - PPHG works so well with the wedding planners in the area that when you're there you can really feel the \"well oiled machine\". There was never a second where we were worried / preoccupied with the day of presentation - PPHG took care of everything (along with our rockstar ACB team) that we could focus on enjoying each other and the magic of the moment. For those who have not had the chance to visit - this is an INCREDIBLY beautiful venue - some of our most precious memories will be looking out over tables of friends and family with the most insane backdrop in the Ashely River at sunset - we still can't get over the beauty of this property. Taken together - the food, the views, the service and the professionalism of what PPHG manages at Lowndes make it the total package!

The River House at Lowndes Grove was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding (40 guests) in November. My husband and I wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception with a great view. The view of the marsh and river is beautiful, we were able to take pictures on their dock, and the large oak trees provided a beautiful frame for our ceremony. The brick patio provided a great dance floor outside. There are also 2 rooms upstairs for the wedding parties to rent for use before the wedding which was perfect for me and my bridesmaids. Everyone that we communicated with and helped organize or special day were wonderful. They really made the day easy, fun, and magical. Our wedding planner, Abby Frye, was AWESOME. She specifically plans weddings for the PPHG properties and we are so glad we had her help. She answered emails quickly and took off so much pressure. I honestly can't believe how easy planning and the wedding day was. The food was delicious. It was so nice that they have their own catering team. The food was the best I have had at a wedding so far. So elegant but southern style comfort food too. I cannot recommend this venue enough, not just because it was perfect for what we were looking for, but because every person we came in contact with was so polite and professional. Our wedding really was magical.

PPHG, thank you for giving us the absolute best day of our lives. I will never truly have words to say thank you enough for everything over the last few years. Who would have thought our original wedding date of 4/3/2020 being cancelled by the world shutting down would be the best thing that could have happened. As devastated as we were in April of 2020, it meant we were able to work with PPGH longer. I am forever grateful for Abby Frye, Rachel Hopkins, Gabbie Accorsi, Kelly Denard, and everyone who was part of our day. For those who are reading this and don't have a planner yet, I HIGHLY recommend Abby Frye with Peninsula Events, PPHG's premier luxury in-house planning. I would repeat my April 2020 wedding being canceled by covid over again to have Abby plan our 9/20/2021 wedding. It was all worth it and I can't imagine not having PPHG's in-house premier planning for our wedding. After all, who knows PPHG better than PPHG/Peninsula Events? Abby, you are truly the best of the best, from being an amazing gem of a human to now a life long friend. I will never be able to say thank you enough for giving us the best day ever. Our entire day was an absolute dream and better than I ever could have imagined. Abby took my vision and created a wedding that was beyond what I could have dreamed of. The entire day was perfect, rain and all. Our guests RAVED about the food, and let's be honest, most wedding food is wedding food and not \"the best meal I have ever had,\" which is what several of our guests and vendors told us. All of our guests were absolutely blown away by how amazing the food, venue, staff, and wedding was. If you made it this far and haven't signed yet, RUN, don't walk. PPHG is in a league of their own and hands down the best group you will ever work with. I promise PPHG and Peninsula Events is the best decision you will ever make. I wish I could relive my day over and over again. You all mean the world to me, thank you again!!

We had our wedding at The River House, which is the smaller venue right next to Lowndes Grove. We originally found the venue through \"Here Comes the Bride\" website. We were looking for an outdoor space, cozy enough to fit about 100 guests and The River House checked those boxes. From the moment we emailed for information, the staff over at the River House were always prompt to respond and super attentive to our questions. Planning from afar and during a pandemic wasn't the easiest or most stress-free task, so being comforted and able to trust that our wedding day would go as planned from them was certainly helpful. Our wedding day turned out beautifully and everything went as expected. The only thing I would've hoped for was more flexibility in regards to what vendors we could use for certain things but other than that, I'm happy to have had our celebration there. Definitely well worth it- my husband and I are very pleased with how everything turned out.

I worked with PPHG over the course of 6 months and every interaction I had with them leading up to the big day was professional, kind and accommodating. They know how important weddings are and want to make sure everything is taken care of to make your day exactly what you envisioned with few hiccups. We had our hearts set on getting married in Charleston but had never seen Lowndes Grove in person. We decided to take the leap of faith and we're so glad we did! I ended up cancelling my wedding in Italy due to COVID and was pretty upset and defeated about the entire wedding situation. I reached out to Lowndes Grove (The River House) on a whim and they happened to have a date available. Abby and the team planned my entire wedding in just 9 weeks and it was truly spectacular! AMAZING AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ceremony and reception venue. I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Lowndes Grove and it was spectacular. The grounds were perfection and the position of the property next to the Ashley River was beyond beautiful. We were incredibly lucky and had the most perfect day with an amazing sunset to end the night. It was beyond perfection. We had 100 people at our wedding and guests were able to move about freely on the property. This added to the overall experience because guests could take pictures on the dock or in the properties main house. They could also move about under the reception tents and take in the fabulous views and décor.Kailin was our main event coordinator for the venue and her and the entire team at Lowndes Grove was incredible. The food and beverage team hit it out of the park with everyone's meal and there wasn't one person who had a poor experience. The appetizers we selected were so delicious and every guest had so much fun eating the chicken and waffle app as well as the fresh shucked oysters. I was thoroughly impressed that the team had provided my husband and I with our own plates of the passed appetizers to eat before we had our first course. Every guest was enamored with how all the meals were served and placed at the same time. The seasonal catch and center cut filet was cooked perfectly for every person. Again, every guest had a phenomenal dinning experience and I couldn't have been more pleased with the food, flow of the event and the level of perfection that Kailin and the Lowndes Grove team provided us with.

Where to even begin! Lowndes Grove is the most beautiful wedding venue and we were so happy we were able to get married there! The venue itself is obviously so amazing and scenic, but the entire PPHG team was so wonderful to work with especially after having to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID. When we had to cancel our wedding in April of 2020, at the time it was obviously devastating, but the PPHG team worked with us to find a new date in April of 2021 and made the entire rescheduling process so seamless and easy. We cannot thank them enough for their support and grace during that difficult time. When we finally got married on April 2, 2021 it was the most magical day and everything was beyond our expectations! Writing this review has put a smile on my face as I think about our wedding that just happed on 4.3.21.We were the classic case of a COVID Wedding couple and postponed our wedding three times last year. It was at that point where My fiancé and I discussed a micro wedding out of state. When choosing Charleston, we found The River House on Lowndes Grove and immediately reached out. We were beyond impressed and pleased with the service we received from the very beginning, reaching out through emails, setting up phone calls, even face-timing to see the venue since we were out of state- Erin was extremely helpful and made us feel confident in every decision we made throughout the early stages. When it came down to the menu and drink/ day of details Molly was great to work with and helped to clarify any questions we had in a timely manner. The staff at PPHG always made themselves available to us. Arriving at the venue for the first time, it was beyond gorgeous- both inside and out. The location was amazing and the setup and scenery was unlike anything we could have imagined. There is something to be said, having a ceremony and reception right on the river with the sunset- truly something myself, my fiancé and our small amount of family and friends will never forget. THE FOOD, OMG the food was fantastic, everyone who attended our wedding told us hands down it was the best food at a wedding that they have ever had (and I know they were not just saying this). Everything came out hot and in a good timely manner. The service we had on the day of with all of the wait staff, bar tending and coordination was outstanding, I truly didn't have to worry about a thing. The communication between the staff was truly remarkable, they helped explain COVID and what they were doing to help social distance, they made us feel at home and our guest comfortable. Truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts- we will never forget our day and the amazing time we had at the River House.

We had the most beautiful outdoor wedding at Lowndes Grove this spring. This event space is absolutely stunning, with the beautiful historical home surrounded by oak trees and the Ashley River. The venue literally exposes all of the best parts of Charleston and the low country! The PPHG staff was very professional and easy to work with. Our event manager, Kailin Good, made everything a breeze for us. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is stressful enough as is, and PPHG helped us through every aspect of it. They have specific protocols in place to protect staff and guests, which made us comfortable throughout the whole process. The in-house catering is also amazing! I can’t recommend a better setting or staff to work with than Lowndes Grove and Patrick Properties!

My company, Lashes and Lace, hosted our staff holiday party at the River House on Valentine's weekend. We had a blast and the PPHG staff was incredible from the first point of contact. Abby & Abigail helped me with the planning process and Abigail was with us on the day-of. She is SO sweet!! While we were getting ready in the cute little condo upstairs she brought us up some wine which was so thoughtful! I highly recommend renting the condos upstairs as it's the perfect little space to get away if you need a little break or to spend the night after your event. The food was DELICIOUS - do yourself a favor and make sure the Pork Belly is on your menu. All of my guests were raving about it. Overall, it was a perfect experience from start to finish from the PPHG staff, the set up, food/bar, & our overnight stay. Highly recommend!!

We had an exceptional experience working with PPHG for our November 2020 wedding at Lowndes Grove. First of all, the location is gorgeous both inside and outside. We were more or less sold as soon as we drove in during our initial visit. Beautiful outdoor space on the Ashley River sets a fantastic backdrop for both ceremony and reception and the house provides lots of space for getting ready plus creates options / flexibility for a cocktail hour or even ceremony. It poured on the day of our wedding and we were able to do our ceremony on the large porch upstairs overlooking the whole property.Second, PPHG’s in-house food and beverage capabilities are excellent. We heard from many of our guests, and we certainly agreed ourselves, that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Since all food – from hors d’oeuvres to dessert – is done in-house by PPHG, you work directly with them to do a comprehensive tasting (which is a lot of fun) and build a menu from tons of delicious, local-inspired and seasonal options. They also do an excellent job of customizing / catering to any special needs / requests – bride in our case had a gluten allergy and PPHG made special servings of nearly every single item specifically for her. We even did a fully gluten free wedding cake, which, again, was the best wedding cake we have ever had and received numerous compliments from guests. Bride and groom definitely get taken care of the whole time.Perhaps more important than all the above, however, is that everybody from PPHG we interacted with, during the planning phase and at the wedding itself, was wonderful. We originally were supposed to get married at Lowndes Grove in April but had to postpone due to COVID. We interacted primarily with Abigail Roderick during the planning / re-scheduling phase, and she was incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating throughout and made the whole process as stress-free and smooth as possible given the circumstances. She (and all other staff we worked with) was always responsive and had a high degree of coordination with our wedding planner, which made things easy on us.Ultimately our wedding, from planning to the day itself, was executed with very high attention to detail and a focus on keeping everybody safe during COVID without taking anything away from the special day. We can’t thank Abigail and the PPHG staff enough and would highly recommend working with them (and loved Lowndes Grove in particular)!

PPHG gathered around us and completely took care of us during an unprecedented time. The venue, the food, the service were simply top notch. From the tasting to the execution of the wedding day, everything was superb. They were extremely safe and cautious with COVID, the grounds were absolutely dreamy, and our guests are still talking about the shrimp and grits at our brunch wedding. We are so thrilled to have had their team be a part of our special day!

Wow! I can’t say enough great things about PPHG and Lowndes Grove!! First of all, the beauty of the venue is absolutely second to none. Second, working with PPHG was an absolute breeze. They have catering and cake in-house prepared by very talented chefs and bakers. The food was delicious and I’m still getting compliments almost a month later! You will be sold by the beauty of their venues (especially Lowndes Grove) and will be immensely impressed by their hospitality throughout the process!If you’re planning during a pandemic like I was, take solace knowing that PPHG’s team will be with you every step of the way. They care about safety and I truly couldn’t have felt more comfortable with how they handled all of the precautions. Lowndes is great because your day can be mostly outdoors or under large open-sided tents so there is plenty of airflow and room to distance! Finally, I can’t imagine a better or more beautiful place to host my wedding. Trying to plan and host a wedding during a worldwide pandemic can be daunting and stressful. There were so many times during our planning process that I was worried our wedding would feel like a ‘COVID wedding’. PPHG put all our worries to rest with their impeccable attention to detail and thoughtful safety precautions that kept all our guests safe but didn’t obstruct from the beauty of the day. As the world was constantly changing, PPHG and our event manager Kailin kept us up to date with the latest PPHG safety guidelines so we could make any necessary modifications to our ceremony and reception. Absolutely nothing in terms of quality was sacrificed because of this crazy world we’re living in. So many people approached my husband, my family, and me at the wedding and in the weeks following to tell us our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. I will say the highest compliment our wedding received was the food! Everything was so delectable — we even had one friend say he would request the jumbo seared scallops from our reception on his death bed, if possible. PPHG not only holds the keys to the crown jewel venues in Charleston, but also to top-tier caterers, pastry chefs and event staff.

Special shout out to our Sales Manager - Erin Elliot - who made the process of booking the venue easy and enjoyable. She was a major reason we booked our venue in the first place! Other venues we visited made us feel like we were just another couple, with dollar signs over our heads. Erin treated us with such incredible customer service, didn't pressure us, listened to our wants & needs, and helped us make it all happen. Abby helped us with our menu/catering planning process, and accommodated every single request we had. Post-wedding, my husband, our families, and I haven't stopped raving about how GLAD we are that we hired PPHG . They made sure our event was safe, seamless, and beautiful. If you're looking for the best of the best when it comes to Charleston event venues, look no further than PPHG. Oh - and Lowndes Grove itself is just a dream come true! The venue itself is stunning, kept in great condition, and was the perfect location for my husband & I to tie the knot. When we got engaged, Lowndes Grove was at the top of our list for potential wedding venues. When we had our first walk through, I cried before the front gates had even opened all the way because it was so perfect. Lowndes Grove was even more perfect because we got to work with PPHG. I truly cannot say enough great things about them. Trying to plan a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic was stressful to say the least but PPHG was with us every step of the way. We had some last minute changes (of course) and they were flexible and helped us walk through what we needed. The wedding day itself was PERFECT and we couldn't have done it without PPHG. From beautiful venues, to HEAVENLY food, PPHG can do it all. Their team makes you feel so special and they truly want to do whatever they can to make sure your special day is everything you hoped and dreamed it would be. I want to relive our wedding day over and over again and I will forever recommend them to friends and family who are engaged!

Lowndes Grove is beautiful, but the Patrick Properties Hospitality Group staff is truly the reason for this five star review. In the two weeks leading up to our original wedding date (April 2, 2020) it became more and more apparent that our wedding would not be possible due to COVID-19. In the days leading up to our decision to postpone our wedding, our event managers with PPHG were with us every step of the way, talking through options and scenarios, answering every question, and ultimately helping us make the decision to postpone. PPHG’s goal in every conversation was to make sure we still would be able to get married at Lowndes Grove, whatever that might look like in the COVID world. They were flexible with our contract and guest count, and applied grace and common sense at every turn. As our new wedding date approached (June 29, 2020), we still found ourselves in a COVID environment, but in line with the reopening phase, our wedding would be allowed to proceed. Since we were one of the first weddings PPHG would host in this post-COVID environment, we worked with our event manager Abby at PPHG, along with our event planner Samantha Anderson, to navigate the steps we would take to host our event safely. Determining how our event could proceed was extremely challenging and like trying to hit a moving target, but the PPHG team again handled every conversation and decision with grace and common sense. In the end, we hosted a beautiful, intimate wedding at Lowndes Grove on June 29th. The safety measures in place (Guest health check in, sanitizing, table spacing, masks on staff, etc.) were all handled carefully and professionally, and our event was flawless. The safety precautions were blended so seamlessly with our event that they did not stand out, and our wedding did not feel like a “COVID wedding”. Additionally, PPHG does their own catering, and the food is phenomenal. All of our Guests told us that they felt like they were at a high end restaurant and not a wedding because the food is that good. Whether you choose Lowndes Grove or another PPHG venue for your event, you will be in the best hands with this five star team.

When we got engaged, this was our favorite area of the peninsula to drive around. And I had always admired Lowndes Grove - the perfect waterfront view over every beautiful Charleston sunset. Once we actually started visiting venues, I held my breath that this one would work out with dates and budgets. We had our wedding here on 2/29/20! The last day of off season pricing; it increases on March 1st. Everything about this venue, the team behind it and their incredible catering is one of a kind!! They are truly seasoned experts when it comes to large, detailed weddings. Not only do they make sure that the bride and groom are well fed and taken care of the entire evening, but they pay close attention to each and every guest. They are the epitome of professionalism and they make the entire day look like an effortless, dreamy page out of a book. From a bride's perspective, I had a relaxing day of getting ready at the house. I showed up at 9 am on my wedding day and had my hair/makeup/lunch all brought onsite. It made for such a relaxing start to our day! We had our ceremony on the front lawn, cocktails by the water and then dinner/dancing under the tented stone patio. We ended the night by taking a fire truck home - only 1 mile down the road where we now live! We walk by Lowndes Grove every week and I reminisce on this incredible night, wishing we could do it again!

She responds very quickly and can answer all of your questions, and I mean ALL of your questions. I don’t think we could have done it without her help. Everyone that we worked with at PPHG was incredible and so helpful. LG is beautiful and captured the exact Charleston, low country natural beauty we were looking for on our big day. The trees and the water created the perfect setting and we made sure to walk out on the dock to take it all in. The house is beautiful and full of history too. We are so happy with our choice and we would not change a thing.

My husband and I got married at The River House. We cannot say enough about how perfect working with PPHG was from start to finish. Rachel was our main contact for the majority of the process until she got a promotion (well deserved!) then Abby was our event associate. Both are absolutely phenomenal at their job. Communication is key, which they do not disappoint. Even if either were out of town or working on another event, we always heard back that same day. Anything we requested, yes was the answer. The tasting was so much fun! The little touches just made it that much more memorable, fun and perfect! Our big day was just perfect! EVERYONE raved about the food, drinks, and the venue. It's hard to find a wedding venue where food, drinks and the venue are absolutely perfect. We let me tell you, stopping hunting... this is the place! It's perfect! The entire process was seamless. Never was I stressed. Not even on our wedding day. I had full confidence in the PPHG team. I cannot remember our bartenders name; however, she was a rock star! Everyone loved her! I use the word \"perfect\" a lot because it's absolutely true. You will not be disappointed! Icing on the cake for the guests, a dolphin popped out of the water in the river!

When Erica and I decided to get married in Charleston, SC we poured through wedding venue suggestions and with the help of google were able to find Lowndes Grove. Without even stepping foot on the property, we placed a deposit on our soon to be wedding venue! Lucky for us, it was the best decision we made.The staff at Patrick Properties is indeed well appointed with years of combined knowledge in culinary, wedding, and generally making people happy experience. There wasn't a single request that wasn't tended to from the inception to the conclusion of the ceremony. My personal favorite was attending the food tasting with some of our favorite Lowndes Grove staff. To say the least, they make all the difference and made Erica and I feel like extended family.If you are looking for arguably the most beautiful, romantic, and chic wedding venue on the east coast of the US, look no further than Lowndes Grove!

Lowndes Grove is BEAUTIFUL and our wedding was dreamy. Their food was phenomenal and our day was gorgeous. However, I've been battling this review since our wedding day because of one thing. The weekend of our wedding we had reserved the Marquee on King Street (about 1 year in advance, I might add). Friday morning our wedding planner was informed that the marquee was scheduled for maintenance that weekend and even though we had paid for the personalized message we could not use the board after all. This was frustrating as we had already made arrangements to have photos done in front of it and paid for it, and the marquee was a huge reason I wanted to book with pphg. I let it go through because it was such a small part of such a big weekend. However, Friday, Saturday, AND SUNDAY the marquee was not only in use, but had multiple different messages on it for other couples. That really rubbed me the wrong way. Not only were we lied to, but they thought we just wouldn't notice it (even though our afterparty was booked at Parcel 32, another one of their venues right next door). For the amount of money we paid to have our wedding there I just expected a little more transparency and professionalism, and to not be lied to on the weekend of our wedding.

What do you do when your daughter’s wedding day almost gets ruined, thanks to mother nature? You are thankful you hired the right vendors. On Friday, May 31, 2019 my daughter was to be married at Lowndes Grove Plantation @ 5:30 P.M. At 5:15 everything was ready and more beautiful than we ever imagined. Loluma had outdone themselves. In comes mother nature, not just rain and wind, but a microburst or a squall. The ceremony area was destroyed, one tent ripped away and wrapped in a tree, the main tent partially collapsed. There was broken glass, toppled furniture and ruined linens. I was stunned, and for a few moments unsure of what we were going to do and where. But with our wedding planner, Michael Winship at the helm, the vendors I hired, ever the band Charleston Groove Factory, joined forces and went into action and in an hour turned the nightmare back into a dream. Great Food, Great Music, and the guests all enjoyed themselves. I will be forever grateful. These are the guys you want to hire for your big day. I am blessed and thankful that we did. They went above and beyond to turn what could have been something horrible into something terrific. Jonie and her team went above and beyond to bring our day to life. Our wedding was one of the mopst beautiful I have ever seen and we have Palemetto Blooms to thank. We had some pretty out there ideas and Jonie found a way to make everything happen for us. We are a same sex couple, and she really helped to bring us a masculine environment in the bride centered world of weddings. We gave her creative reign and simply put, we were incredibly impressed with Jonie’s ability engage her clients in a way that made everything feel less like a task, and more like fun. Her ability to whimsically execute the mood of our special day all while still having the elements feel so uniquely “US”. Patrick properties offers some of the most elegant venues around! We chose The River House at Lowndes Grove and we were not disappointed! The property is beautiful, well kept and has amazing views. They just recently painted the interior of the River House to a soft white which completely awed us when we saw it. It's very fresh and clean looking which was perfect with our light spring colors. The staff is very professional and organized. We worked closely with Rachel and Carley and they were just a dream. They were very prompt on all responses, making sure everything was done in a timely manner. They are very willing to make accommodations where needed and making sure that everything we wanted was accounted for. The food was AMAZING. We were extremely impressed with our tasting but the day of the wedding it was even more impressive. We chose buffet which was way above our expectations. Three stations allowed for everyone to try a little bit of everything. We chose seasonal catch and were highly impressed when it was swordfish. Everything from the starters down to the late night snack was absolutely exquisite and out of this world.PPHG is an amazing operation to work with and did not disappoint at all in the entire process of our wedding. They know the business and it shows. Great work!

Lowndes Grove was the first of 10 venues we visited in Charleston and once we saw it, everything else paled in comparison. It's just stunning and the setting couldn't be more beautiful. Once we were booked, we worked with Rachel and Kailin at Patrick Properties on all the food and details. They were great to work with - highly responsive and knowledgeable. If food is important to you than Lowndes is a great option for that as well - the food was outstanding, equivalent to what you would expect at a very nice restaurants. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. In all other areas Lowndes/Patrick was great as well - the day of staff, office staff, etc were professional and friendly. It's not a cheap option but we couldn't have been happier with how our big day turned out.

We looked at almost every venue in and around Charleston for the perfect wedding backdrop. Lowndes Grove far exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked on property for a site visit all the way to our exit down the driveway on our wedding night. The staff is top notch, professional, seamless at what they do and a joy to be around. Ryan and I wouldn't have had it any other way. As a former planner myself, I held all my vendors to a high standard and Lowndes Grove as well as the entire Patrick Properties staff far exceeded our expectations. No words can truly describe our gratefulness. Simply put, it was one of the best days of our lives (which everyone deserves on their wedding day). Our daughter got married here in September. This is absolutely the most stunning venue in Charleston! We heard comments like “this is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been too!” The food, view, property and the use of the house for the pre-wedding and reception are top notch.

Stunning venue! From the history of the plantation to the backdrop set on the Ashley River, this venue perfectly embodies Souther Charleston charm. Plus the entire staff is a group of impeccable professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with. And the food! My guests are still raving about their dinner. It was such a memorable experience, not only our wedding day, but each interaction we had throughout the planning process thanks to the team at PPHG. I would highly recommend booking your wedding at Lowndes Grove.

The perfect location. I was torn between wanting a beautiful plantation home on the water, and being downtown close to all the popular sites and guest accommodations. This is the only venue in Charleston that was all three, and it just happened to be one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen! You don't even need decorations because the space itself is so beautiful. Also a huge plus that the catering is in-house. I was told by several guests that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and I didn't even have to go through the stress of picking a caterer!

My husband and I were married at Lowndes Grove in the fall and had an absolutely perfect day! The property is set right on the river and has beautiful sunset views that provide gorgeous photos. The venue itself is located close to downtown Charleston, making it easy for out of town guests. You have a number of options on layout for your special day and lots of space for guests to enjoy. We also had peace of mind that the venue could accommodate our entire wedding party in the event it rained – an option that we thankfully did not need to take advantage of. While all these aspects were great, the best part of the day by far was the food! We still get compliments from our guests on the meal and the cake. When we look back on the day we can honestly say that there’s nothing we would change and it’s thanks to the PPHG team. They took care of us from our first walk through all the way through our departure the day of the wedding. You will not regret booking this special venue for your day!

We had our destination wedding here(we're from Chicago) because it's quintessential Charleston. The venue is a dream, the food was to die for and the service was top notch. Everything was better then we could've ever imagined and our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

Our daughter and son-in-law decided on Charleston for their May destination wedding and one of their best decisions was choosing Lowndes Grove Plantation. WHAT A PERFECT VENUE! The location is so convenient for out of town guests, the house and grounds lend the perfect backdrops for the ceremony and photos, and the large patio and tent/top options are perfect for receptions, rain or shine (the weather for our daughter’s special day was perfect, and mild enough to use the glass top which was beautiful with the lights.) The PPHG staff and catering proved to be as exceptional as the venue itself. Our event manager, Erin, was wonderful to work with, from our first meeting at the tasting through the taillights going out of the gate at the end of the best day ever! We had several unusual requests and Erin always made us feel like she was eager to help and as excited as we were. She ensured every detail was taken care of (including keeping my champagne glass full at the reception). And like everything else, the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! After the tasting (a fun day in itself), everything was so good we could not narrow it down to three stations so we did four. Several of our guests have told us it was some of the best food they had ever had (anywhere) and I agree. Our guests also shared how much they enjoyed exploring the venue itself. With the help of Erin, we included the history of LG in our welcome bags. But if I had to narrow it down to my favorite things about LG, at the top of my list would be the access to the house for the full day. We arrived early in the morning and it was so fun to spend the day with our daughter and her wedding party, and it was a dream come true to get to watch the vendors bring our daughter’s dreams to life. What a wonderful special day! Thank you Erin, Amber, and the staff of PPHG! We just wish we could do it all over again!!!!

Dreamy venue, exceptional staff, exquisite FOOD (when does that ever happen at a wedding?!). Without a doubt, our wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation was better than anything you could find on Pinterest.. thanks to the dream team at PPHG/Lowndes Grove & our incredible vendors. I'd do anything to relive that day all over again.. and again!
