Join us for our OPEN HOUSE January 21st 2-4pm! Check out our social media links for your complementary tickets. Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat is a wedding and event venue located in Justin, TX. This rustic setting has been hosting weddings and events since 2016 and acts as a memorable base for couples to bring their vision to life. The in-house team offers an array of services, from catering to accommodations, to ensure a one-of-a-kind celebration. Nestled on 56 acres of land, Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat offers manicured lawns, lush trees, and tranquil ponds and creeks that act as a stunning backdrop. Your wedding day will begin in the onsite get-ready suite, which sports the venue's signature rustic charm for you and your entourage to enjoy. Vintage furniture, mirrors, and vanity stations are present to ensure a relaxing experience. You can then make your way to the open lawn and altar, where you can exchange your vows in front of over 300 guests. After your ceremony, your guests are welcome to enjoy cocktail hour on the covered patio. They will then make their way inside the reception barn. Up to 400 guests can be comfortably seated inside this 10,000-square-foot space. Exposed wooden beams and high windows decorate the vaulted ceiling, covering your event in a warm, pastoral glow. Also inside is a custom bar area and elevated stage to complete your reception experience. A fire pit, saloon area, and courtyard are also available for your prenuptial events. The venue's in-house catering team will personalize your menu to suit your preferred flavors and event theme. You and your loved ones will also have access to luxurious cabins, with up to 18 beds for a relaxing overnight stay. Event planning, shuttle services, and other amenities will also be available to ensure a seamless, stress-free journey to the altar.

The venue was AMAZING!! We paid to have the venue the day before and we were able to stay until the morning after, it truly helped with coordinating with people. Sharie was wonderful to work with! She was responsive with answering our emails and questions and just eased our minds in general! My best friend got married here in 2020 and now my husband and I in 2022. New family tradition!!

First off, this venue NEVER answers their phone but because I liked the venue, I bared with it. My now husband and I are both active duty military and dealing with this venue had been nothing but a headache. It is a beautiful location, but horrible to work with. In 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our wedding at Lucky Spurs. The Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat was the only vendor we hired that was not willing to reschedule with us. After many phone calls the owner finally \"offered\" to move our date to our new wedding date, only if we made a new deposit and paid a \"predicted increase in rate\" fee equal to the money we had already paid to the venue, effectively making it as if we were starting from scratch with them and hadn't been working with them for over a year. We decided it was not wise to work with this unprofessional company who during a national pandemic would not work with a couple who booked an over $10k venue and weekend stay over a year in advance. Their only \"accommodation\" was not charging us extra in cancelation fees, which during the pandemic is really the LEAST they could have done. Would definitely not recommend them, Weddings are stressful enough without having an unresponsive unprofessional venue to work with. If you decide to book with them hopefully a government shutdown and pandemic doesn't happen or you will loose every penny you invested in them.

From the moment Kyle & I toured, we knew this was the perfect place for our out-of-state wedding. Sharie was absolutely so kind, accommodating, & quick to communicate with throughout the entire planning process. Also, if you're looking for a venue that offers tons of services in-house, this is the place!! You have the option to bring in all outside vendors of your choice, or to use their in-house catering services as well as overnight accommodations on the property! We loved the history of this horse ranch turned wedding venue, we loved the flexibility with planning our wedding exactly how we wanted to, we loved that they are pet-friendly so we could include our dogs in the ceremony, there were multiple indoor/outdoor/covered ceremony sites to choose from, we were able to have beer burros during our cocktail hour, longhorns in the pastures around the ceremony site, & we were able to brand a cowhide for our unity! All of our guests commented on how gorgeous & immaculate this venue was. I think everybody agreed it was worth the 8 hours trip to Texas for our wedding! We cannot recommend LSR highly enough, if we could do our entire day over we'd choose them again & again!PS -- their in-house catering service is INCREDIBLE. So many wedding menu options to choose from, & it is all beyond delicious. Every guest commented on how great our food was!

Lucky Spur was the first vendors I booked in early 2018, after rescheduling our wedding twice we finally got married August 2020 and Sharie was with us every step of the way, the whole two and half years! I was always asking questions and would get a quick answer. You could even text them, which I used for more urgent questions. The ranch is amazing and all my guest were so impressed. The bridal suit was totally big enough for me, my six bridesmaids, my 2 year old daughter, three moms, one makeup artist & one hair stylist. The grooms suite was plenty big enough also and they even hung out in the saloon playing pool & watching TV before the ceremony. Highly recommend this venue for any event!

Gosh, where do you even begin! We moved to Texas about three years prior to our wedding and knew we wanted to give our guest a true Texas experience. We decided to book on the spot. We had seen other venues but none of them offered half of what Lucky Spur Ranch did. The hospitality this place offers is top notch. We had our rehearsal dinner on site the night before and had our wedding party stay in the two houses and rooms. Everything was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything that you would need. The staff is kind, patient, and willing to do whatever they can to make your dream day a reality. Sharie helped us with any questions that came up throughout our planning process and her sweet, bubbly personality made us feel so special. You can tell that she truly cares and loves what she does. Dakon was so great as well. His easy-going, and humble personality truly made us feel taken care of. He was down for whatever and a great sport with our bridesmaids who had never met a âreal cowboy.â Chef Julio was exceptional, the food was absolutely prenominal! I cannot rave about Lucky Spur enough! From wedding planning (11 months) to the wedding day Sharie and Daken were there to answer all questions and to lend every helping hand during our big day. We did the weekend package and this allowed our families to truly relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding from rehearsal to the sparkler send off. I am still getting so many complements on the food. Lonesome Spur catering creates amazing dishes. If i could get married over again I would not change a single thing.

My wedding was on 02/15/20 and I canât get over how amazing this venue was! Sharie Bruce Barnes was absolutely amazing with our booking and answering all of our questions! We had our food catered by Lucky Spurs catering company (Lonesome Spur) and it was so delicious! We had brisket, chicken, sausage, veggies, salad, and dinner rolls! I received so many compliments!! Chef Julio is phenomenal! Him and his crew even helped open the door for my Dad and I when we were about to walk down the isle. He also helped with cake cutting, ice cream, and even helped with the sparkler exit! Talk about going above and beyond!! I was so pleased by Dakon and Brandi as well for any questions I had throughout the wedding process! Canât say enough about their worker named Colton who helped take me and my husband all the way out to see the long horns with my photographer and also helped make skeet shooting such a success with my friends and family â¤ď¸ This weekend is something that my family, friends, and I will always remember! Lucky Spur was one of the best vendors we could have ever chosen! Sharie, Dakon, Brandie, and Chef Julio were amazing throughout any of the planning. Sharie was easy to get in touch with regarding any questions about the venue, overnight accommodations, bridal portraits on site, ANYTHING. Brandie was amazing to work with as well for anything related to the catering tastings, rehearsal dinner location and menu, and the day of coordinating with the food and table arrangements. I don't think there was one issue or question that arose that neither of the team at Lucky Spur could not answer or take care of. Chef Julio's food was DELICIOUS! We did street tacos for the wedding and Italian food for the rehearsal dinner, both catered by Lonesome Spur. Both meals were RAVED about among wedding guests both nights and we were so thankful for Chef Julio's food. Dakon was an absolute gem to work with as well throughout all of this planning as well! We are so thankful for this venue allowing such a beautiful backdrop for our special day, it wouldn't have been the same at a different venue!

My daughter picked this venue and all I can say is WOW! Her wedding was on Oct 27, 2018. Its a stunning facility with great overnight accommodations for those interested in staying overnight. Food is outstanding!! Sharie and Dakon were amazing to work with. They are able to accommodate indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Luckily the weather was perfect for us and our ceremony was outside. The reception barn is absolutely gorgeous. Accommodations for both bride and groom are amazing!! My daughter picked this venue and all I can say is WOW! Her wedding was on Oct 27, 2018. Its a stunning facility with great overnight accommodations for those interested in staying overnight. Food is outstanding!! Sharie and Dakon were amazing to work with. They are able to accommodate indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Luckily the weather was perfect for us and our ceremony was outside. The reception barn is absolutely gorgeous. Accommodations for both bride and groom are amazing!! Lucky Spur is nothing short of amazing. They are super flexible, professional, and helpful. We were always allowed to look or grab a measurement. It truly is all inclusive! I had planned for my wedding to be outdoors but when it started pouring rain, they didnât hesitate to jump in and still help me achieve my vision and dream wedding. Sharie is the best! The food is amazing, too! I highly recommend getting all the rooms, it made the day of and the night! I could not write enough words to express how great Lucky Spur Ranch truly is.

This is the most beautiful venue, but I cannot say this enough the people truly made this place spectacular. Dakon and Sharie make you feel like family and they there to make sure your day is perfect. I cannot tell you how grateful my husband and I are for their wonderful work. This venue offers so much more than any other, from the onsite catering to the over night lodging it truly has it all. My parents have received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was. I cannot tell you how many small little questions I had that youâd fire off an email and with an hour Sharie or Dakon had an answer for you. My vendors have gone on and on about the lucky spurs hospitality. I loved that they had a fb group for all of the upcoming brides to be a part of, so many girls had the greatest ideas to share. I feel like what truly made this place so special is they treated your event like it was theirs too, they made everything perfect.

Lucky Spur was the perfect place to have our wedding weekend! Pretty much our entire wedding was coming from out of town, so we opted for the Wedding Weekend package so we could have the rehearsal, wedding, and brunch all in one place on top of having the immediate family and wedding party stay at the ranch with us. The location is just gorgeous, the food is fantastic, and Dakon and Sharie are very easy to work with. They are quick to respond and were very helpful throughout the process. Our guests just loved the location and really had a great time. We would highly recommend booking with Lucky Spur!

Absolutely amazing in every way! It was so convenient to have the whole property for two nights! Dakon and Sharie answered any and all my questions super fast! Their staff was so friendly and helpful! The food was so delicious and we had so many compliments on both the food and how beautiful the venue was! Being able to have my horse on site made my wedding even more special! The guys loved being able to go get some nerves out and have their guy time while skeet shooting! Guys! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was beyond any expectations I had. First, Sharie was amazing. She truly is a blessing and made this experience the best. I could call/email her with any questions, and she would respond no matter what. When it came to the big things, Dakon made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The venue itself is exceptional and extraordinary. It is truly a gem hiding out there in Justin. The two things I highly recommend is taking them up on their in house catering and housing. Our wedding guests raved about how good the food was. Julio and Dakon listened and made sure the food was exactly how we wanted. The housing was great and our wedding party loved the easiness of staying at the venue! This is definitely THE dream venue!

We are such a huge fan of the Lucky Spur Ranch! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Dakon and Sharie are super easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly! Since there were no other events on the weekend of our wedding, the weekend was so laid back and we had plenty of time to set up and take down. Renting the rooms at the ranch was a HUGE plus! Being on site made everything so EASY! Plus the after-party at the Saloon was a big hit. We had an AMAZING time and were very pleased. We really appreciate y'all working with us and making our wedding absolutely perfect. Oh, and a huge shout out to the on-sight catering. The food was SO GOOD! Plus it was stress free because its all taken care of there, along with most of the table set up so it was one less thing I had to worry about. And that makes for a happy bride :)

The owners and employees are easy to work with and they care a great deal about your happiness. We had our wedding here in March and can't imagine it being better anywhere else. All of our friends and family loved how beautiful the venue is and even talked about booking it for future parties. Dakon was great from the beginning! He was able to change our date after we had already booked. He allowed us to arrive to the venue early so that we could get ready which helped a lot since we had an early wedding. He's very down to earth and I knew I could always count on him to answer any questions or help with anything I might need. I recommend you get the overnight accommodations it's so convenient and was fun to be able to stay the night. We loved having our wedding at Lucky Spur Ranch!

My guests loved how unique the ranch was and complemented on its beauty. As the bride, I was very pleased with how accommodating the staff was and any concern I had was addressed in a timely manner.
