Ludlow Mansion Events is a historic wedding venue located in Monroe, WI. If you're hosting a truly extravagant celebration, you're welcome to book the various indoor and outdoor spaces together and invite up to 320 guests. When initially working with this venue we were so excited to have found a space that could accommodate our guests and vision for a New Year’s Eve wedding.The actual experience was something very different.Throughout the planning process, including the day of our wedding, there was a constant miscommunication and/or lack of communication with the owners. Numerous verbal and written agreed upon request were not honored, leading to many significant disappointments and changing of plans last minute. After the wedding, we reached out privately with our concerns and attempted to have a sit down discussion with the owners to try and gain understanding and provide feedback of our experience; however, this was met with defensiveness, hostility, and reactive responses from one of the owners, including him yelling within 5 minutes of the meeting and ended with him yelling at us as we walked away from the situation. Based on these experiences we would not book with this venue in the future nor would we recommend this to others to reserve for your event.

Ludlow was definitely very helpful with everything that we wanted. Their flexibility was definitely appreciated as we had some last minute issues with invitations. Overall very hands on to what we wanted and gave suggestions when we weren't sure what to do. The day turned out beautiful and I wouldn't change a thing.

My wife and I got married here in June 2022 and it was the perfect place to have a wedding. Roxanne, Penny, and Greg were all very easy to work with, easy to get in contact with, and flexible. The mansion allows you to truly make your wedding how you want. It can fit many different budgets and offers a variety of ceremony locations. We planned on having our ceremony outside but due to weather, we made a last second change to have it inside. It was great to have an indoor option. We had to set the chairs up ourselves but that took no time with the amount of people around to lend a hand. Getting the package that allows you to have the mansion from noon on Friday to noon on Sunday allows you to enjoy your weekend even more. It was great to not have to rush and set things up how you envisioned. Overall the Mansion allowed up to have an incredible, stress free Wedding, 10/10 would recommend.

This was a wonderful venue for us! We were able to have our rehearsal on Friday night along with set up before the wedding which was very convenient. The team was easy to work with, and were very supportive. We got married on the porch, and it was perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Ludlow Mansion is a first-rate option for a wedding venue outside of Madison. Monroe, WI is pretty rural but the couple running Ludlow are as professional as anyone/anything you'd find downtown. My son & his wife were married at Ludlow in May and we were extremely happy with how it all went. The food & drink display in the bar area during the cocktail hour was especially beautiful (guests are still raving about it!). The rooms in the mansion itself are in need of some updating – which is already scheduled to take place – but were still impressive. Mostly, though, the flexibility, helpfulness, and personal touch of the husband-wife owners, Greg & Penny, really made the weekend a success. Sincere thanks and high recommendation!

This was absolutely the best place to host our wedding. Not only is the place completely breathtaking, the owners Greg and Penny are so wonderful and accommodating to work with. Roxanne was the best, helping us plan every little detail and making sure that everything went off without a hitch. They made planning our wedding completely stressless and very enjoyable. The venue has great space available for both large and small gatherings. I cannot say enough good things about this venue.

Greg and Penny were so great to work with and the venue was stunning for our wedding celebration! My husband and I live in NJ, but had our reception here since it’s near my hometown. Being able to use the venue’s own catalog of decorations and add-ons was so much more convenient for us than trying to buy, store, and transport it ourselves. We found the venue super affordable, and the mansion that we, and part of our wedding party stayed in over the weekend were absolutely stunning. We’ve received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was for our reception and we owe so much of that to Greg and Penny at Ludlow Mansion Events!

Penny and Greg were AMAZING! Trying to have a wedding during COVID was not easy and they helped make our day perfect and as safe possible. They venue is so beautiful and has so much space. The package we purchased allowed us to use the venue for the entire weekend which was really nice. We had our rehearsal dinner there and our gift opening brunch on Sunday. We also had a two night stay included with our package. The room was right on the property. It was nice to be able to go there after a long day and get a good nights rest.
