The venue is absolutely breathtaking and the staff and service is outstanding. I had a birthday party for my husband on September 30, 2023 and it was truly an event my guests will never forget. So much attention was paid to details not to mention top quality food, seafood and desserts. It was an event that was made perfect by everyone at Macaluso’s.

I cannot say enough great things about Macaluso's. The entire campus is GORGEOUS, the food is BEYOND outstanding, and the staff is PHENOMENAL. We felt like true royalty on our wedding day and Macaluso's did not miss one beat. They nailed everything! There was not one thing wrong! I cannot say enough great things about Macaluso's. The entire campus is GORGEOUS, the food is BEYOND outstanding, and the staff is PHENOMENAL. Words can not begin to explain how perfect Macaluso’s was for us. My now husband and I were truly treated like king and queen on our big day!! I got ready in the morning at Macaluso’s and was blown away watching them clean every inch of the already spotless facility. We had 225 people at our wedding and utilized the beautiful outside space for our ceremony and had plenty of room during cocktail hour and reception in side! Large or small this venue can handle it. I have been to and in a lot of wedding in the past few years and Macaluso’s knocks it out of the park every time. The food that they offer is unmatched not only in quantity but quality is just insanely amazing. Cocktail hour is everything!!! Every bite of food is amazing seriously this is coming from a food critic! Even the dinner that is normally the snooze of the wedding was just amazing!! I cut the steak with a fork!!! Then my favorite part dessert! Palermo bakery did an amazing job with our cake and Macaluso’s with the Venetian hour left a smile on every guests face!! The staff from day one were there to help us through every step of the process! Staff, food, facility….. any brides and/or grooms that choose Macaluso’s will have the wedding of the year!!

Once again Macaluso’s delivered an all around wonderful experience from the planning and day of the event. We had our daughter’s college graduation celebration at the beautiful outdoor patio. As always the food and service were amazing. Our guests raved about the venue, food and service.

Macaluso’s is a hidden gem of a venue! It is gorgeously renovated, my guests would not stop talking about how amazing the cocktail hour/dinner was. The amount of food and how everything tasted amazing. Dessert was out of this world! This venue goes above and beyond to make sure your day is great. They are so easy to work with! They have a beautiful outside area for photo opts and for your guests to enjoy! On our wedding day the MC heard we wanted Red Bull for our drinks and went out to the store to get it just so we had it. That blew my mind! The getting ready room is huge and beautiful! We had a very large party of 12 people in that room. Everyone was comfortable! I cannot rave enough about this venue and would recommend it to anyone that needed a venue. They also hold smaller events like baby showers and bridal showers. Book macaluso’s you will not regret it!

The Classical Buffet was beautifully presented and it was nothing less than spectacular. THE QUALITY AND ABUNDANCE of the food was Delicious. Every single Item was perfect. All I heard from my Guests all day was, how incredible the food was. The entire staff was so professional and took to every detail. Friendly, helpful, accomodating. Couldn't do enough. The entire management team owner Elias , sons, nephews, bro- in-laws came out to the party to check on the events progress. Elias and family were soo gracious and just a delight to speak to and deal with. The attentiveness to every detail makes Macaluso's experience second to none. I highly recommend this venue for any occassion. Your guests will leave with their best experience ever. Macaluso's truly is in a class of its own. We enjoyed celebrating my partners 70th Birthday at Macaluso's. Food was amazing and the staff exceptional. Their professionalism and how easy to work with them was outstanding. I highly recommend this venue and will have other events there. This is a real gem that is centrally located in the heart of Hawthorne, NJ. Will I recommend this venue? Yes, I was really taken by the care they took to make my event a real success. The facility was beautiful, elegant and Valet was great!

I can not say enough good things about him. From the very second I called to book to the 300 times I called, he was super accommodating! So even if you think having your event here is out of reach, call anyway, they will absolutely do their best to work within your budget. All our guest raved about the food.It was DELICIOUS !! The aesthetic of the venue is out of this world. It is breath taking from the moment you walk in the lobby, and continues to take your breath away as you walk through the hallway into the main ballroom. Our guests could not stop raving about our party, the venue, the food! 10/10 for sure! Book your next event at Macaluso’s if you want a showstopper event. You WILL NOT be disappointed. A HUGE thank you to Elias, Maroon, and the entire Macaluso’s team for making us feel like family and ensuring we had a night to remember!

I had my wedding reception here on November 27. Elias really takes care of anything you need. The food was beyond amazing, and the service was even better. Brides even have help from a bride assistant, Nawal, which really made my day night so much easier. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Elias and Ceasar both were extremely professional, and helped me through the entire event. I would love to have another event there in the future!

Maroon was absolutely fantastic to work with and made the planning process simple and easy. We also want to give a special shout out to Maroon’s father who went above and beyond to create an amazing menu and food selection for our guests. Elias and all of the staff who assisted us the day of our wedding were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with beautiful lighting and chandeliers. And the FOOD! Everything was plentiful, excellent quality, and delicious. The cocktail hour was out-of-this world! Our guests are still raving about it. Highly recommend Macaluso’s for anyone planning a wedding or other event.

The venue and its upgrades are GOREGOUS, the food is AMAZING, and the vendors they referred us to were top notch! Their hard work and attention to detail made our day PERFECT. I was married here in August and there are just no words to express how amazing my experience was. From my first appointment to look at the venue, through booking and all the way until day of my wedding, I received top-notch service that simply doesn't compare. Maroon was phenomenal; no matter what I needed, he made happen. I didn't have a coordinator and he helped me through so much, I wouldn't have been able to do it without him. He took the time to speak with me on the phone and meet with me in person as often as I needed. He gave me ideas and pointed out things I didn't even think to consider. We went through every part of the day and worked it all out so I could relax and feel as prepared as possible. Cannot sing his praises loud enough. The entire staff went above and beyond to make my day special. Cesar was a presence, no matter what corner I turned. Whatever had to get done, he was already taking care of it without being asked. Didn't think I needed a bridal attendant- then I met Nawal. She was by my side throughout the day, making sure I was taken care of. Literally, an angel. From A-Z the Macaluso's staff was supportive, encouraging, and reliable. Planning a wedding is an extremely stressful time and they went above and beyond in every aspect. I was missing part of my flower delivery with aisle petals, flower girl petals, and my cake topper- the staff figured it out and simply fixed it. Can't talk about Macaluso's without mentioning food. Guests are still talking about it a month and a half later. The spread that is put out is not just large in quantity, but DELICIOUS. Every single guest commented on the expansive variety of dishes as well as the superb quality of each dish. TOP NOTCH in every way. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Delicious food, beautiful grounds, A++ staff. It doesn't get better than Macaluso's and I look forward to holding future events with them.

My fairytale wedding came true because of macalusos! I just got married there on 8/14/21 and it was a dream come true. Myself, husband and immediate family didn’t have to worry about a thing! The staff there handled everything and were so nice and thoughtful. Even the planning up to the big day, they helped with every little thing we called about. I even had a bridal assistant who did absolutely everything for me without asking. We had about 100 guests and everyone’s food came out at the same time and everything was hot. It literally was a fairytale and dream come true. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect! I highly highly recommend macalusos for your wedding!!

Ever since my brother got married at Macaluso’s years ago, I knew that this was the venue I would want to host my own wedding. Now it was my chance. The food was exactly how I remembered it, delicious and plentiful. Even now, months later, people are still telling me about how amazing the food was! From the white-marbled floors, to the brand-new patio and ceremony area, to the lighting in the main ballroom and bridal suite, Macaluso’s provided everything we needed to make the wedding we planned into a reality. Maroon (Matar) treated us like family since the moment we walked through the door and pulled out all of the stops when it came to what he provided for us. Not only did the wedding go flawlessly, but when it came to moving the wedding from October 2020 to June 2021, Maroon selflessly provided new dates and times without any extra hassle. The event staff (from the managers to the captains to the attendants and servers) were amazingly polite, professional, and courteous throughout the entire day. The set-up was immaculate, the timing and presentation of all the courses were perfect, and the only thing left to my husband and I was to have an amazing time. Every detail imaginable was taken care of, and the staff made sure that we ate, drank, and fully enjoyed our wedding day without a thing to worry about. There is no other place to have your wedding (or event), trust me, you will not regret it.

From the initial meeting and tour of the facility to the countless emails and phone calls to address concerns I had with planning, Elias and his team were always patient, kind, and professional. The service and support we received from Elias as an out-of-state couple ensured that we never felt out of the loop. Elias set our tasting for when we could drive up to NJ and was knowledgeable and helpful when we were finalizing our menu. We knew having our wedding reception at Macaluso's we would be guaranteed a perfect wedding! The food at Macaluso's is divine and at the wedding multiple guests kept asking my family if the cocktail hour was the meal! Daniel and I were treated like royalty in the bridal room and wanted for nothing thanks to the care and efficiency of the Macaluso's staff. The lighting package provided by Macaluso's created a great atmosphere for the party to really get underway! The number one compliment we received from the majority of our guests was that our wedding was \"like a fairytale\" and that \"they had never been to a wedding like this before!\" Ultimately, we know that the wedding of our dreams would not have been possible without the support and kindness of Macaluso's staff, in particular Elias who we became friends with by the end of our journey. Daniel and I just want to say thank you to the Macaluso's team for ensuring we had an evening we would never forget. We booked our wedding reception with Macaluso's in February of 2020 for September 5, 2020. We first worked with Alex and he was incredible. Easy to talk to and very accommodating. As we all know our world got flipped upside down in March. No one or any industry was prepared for what had occurred and what, unfortunately, is still happening. As months went by, Matt and I were still hopeful we could have the wedding as planned, but we were also realistic. We understood that the most important thing was ensuring the safety of our families. Around May we met with Elias. We were so pleased with how understanding he was. He never made us feel pressured or our hands were tied. If one thing is certain, this vendor will work with you as best as they possibly can! We ended up doing a smaller, sit down dinner with just our closest family members. They transformed the outdoor space to a beautiful reception area. All of our guests had fun, and for one day, we felt a sense of normalcy. The team made sure everything was flawless, and the guests agreed as well. The rave reviews from our guests began when they arrived at Macaluso's, and didn't end until weeks after. Although it wasn't what we originally had planned, Elias and his team made such a difficult situation become one of the most magical and memorable nights of our lives. We also thank them for going above and beyond the safety/sanitation protocols of COVID-19, and we are hopeful that our bigger reception this year will be just as wonderful.

Besides it being beautiful inside, their customer service and accommodation the whole wedding planning process is amazing! We had to postpone from April to November because of COVID and the groom being in the military. The staff at Macalusos worked with us the entire time and always made sure the process was stress free and perfect!!For us, food was also one of the most important needs for our wedding. Macalusos has the BEST cocktail hour of anyone in the NJ area. They also served an amazing Steak as one of our meal choices that our guests are still talking about. The dessert was delicious as well. The inside decor is beatitude and they just re-did the entire outside patio. Most of all, the staff ensures that’s the bride and groom are treated like royalty. They made sure we ate and got to enjoy our wedding just like everyone else. It was simply the beat night. We highly recommend choosing Macalusos as a wedding venue! We will be using them for many more events in the future!

Maroon was amazing, accommodating, comforting, I could go on forever. His team was also great and made us feel like we were family. My bridal attendant was an angel on earth. She took care of me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. Whenever we told anyone we were having our wedding at Macaluso’s the first thing they’d say is “the food is amazing!” And that it was. They allowed us to bring some of our decor and set up early and store it there for set up a few days early. The owners were there the day of the event and are extremely kind and ensure our day flowed well. I HIGHLY recommend! Macalusos was a fantastic venue for our wedding. All of our guests said they've never been to a wedding like it. The food and the service were second to none. Everything went better than we could have ever planned and we are so grateful for such an excellent venue.

Fantastic wedding venue!! My husband and I were treated to the wedding of our dreams thanks to Macaluso's. Working with Nat to plan the night was a pleasure. He was extremely helpful in guiding our choices for the reception. Our guests raved about the food! They were impressed with the amount and quality of the food served at cocktail hour and the Venetian room. The staff on the night of our wedding was attentive and friendly. Macaluso's went above and beyond what we expected. The kindness and generosity shown to us was wonderful and greatly appreciated. The respect extended to me as mother of the bride was exceptional. After a while Nat was calling me Mama. Our entire year of planning the reception was stress free thanks to the entire staff of Macaluso's. My daughter had the wedding I had always hoped to give her thanks to Nat. Also, after visiting several other venue's, Macaluso's put together a financial package that includes every single thing you could possibly need. We still have guests calling to rave about the food, the kindness and caring of the staff.

Two weeks later and everyone is still talking about the food!!! The only thing I regret is not eating more! Elias and Maroon are very helpful and patient. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food, service and ambiance not to mention you are the only bride!\r\rAnd I have to add that Nick, the chair cover guy they recommend, is amazing!!

5 STARS!!!!!!!!\rWhat can I say about macaluso’s, they were spectacular. The food especially the cocktail hour is phenomenal, it’s all my guests could talk about all night and weeks after my wedding. The prices are fantastic for what you’re getting, all my guests imagined my wedding to be a 100k wedding and it was FAR from that. Maroon and his staff are excellent and provide the greatest level of customer service. This place is exceptional and you would be dumb to not book here!!!!!!\r

My husband and I knew we loved Macaluso's from the moment we walked it. It has an old world Italy feel which is exactly what we were looking for. The food selections that Macaluso's provided left our families so full they had trouble eating dessert! Overall the staff was very helpful. Days leading up to the wedding, the staff was organized, thorough, and relaxed. The day of the wedding, the staff was on point, providing us and our guests with whatever we needed. It's a 1 wedding venue and I would highly recommend anyone that wants good food to consider Macaluso's!!

The food was delicious - some of our guests enjoyed cocktail hour so much that they took most of their dinner to go. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and truly pleasurable to work with. I've been married for 3 months and since then, the compliments about my wedding continue to pour in. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Macaluso's treated me and my guests. My husband and I looked at several venues before deciding to go with Macaluso's. From the beginning, Joseph and Maroon were welcoming, pleasant, and extremely helpful all throughout the planning process. \r\rI was a nervous reck the day of the wedding but once at Macaluso's, Joseph and the rest of the staff helped reduce my nervousness by taking care of everything and everyone. I did nothing and worried about nothing!! I simply enjoyed my wedding to the fullest. My guest cannot stop raving about how wonderful everything was. They were very pleased with the service and ohh my.. were they happy with the food. The cocktail and Venetian hour were beautifully displayed (I was recently told by one of my guest that it was the best he has ever seen), and the quality of the dinner was fantastic!!\r\rMy wedding day was everything and more than I ever imagine. It was truly a magical night that I will NEVER forget!!! For that, I have to thank Macaluso's for all the wonderful and hard work that went into making my day the most special day of our lives.

Macaluso's completely exceeded my expectations! Maroon went above and beyond what we had ever thought possible. The bridal attendant and head waitress were so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed, even when I may have not needed it. And I can't forget about the food, which was amazing. I am still getting compliments three weeks later about how the cocktail and Venetian hour blew everyone away! There is not enough that I can say about Macaluso's! Alex and the others at Macaluso's made our May 19th, 2012 wedding spectacular because they treated us like we were the only couple to ever get married there. We were taken care of from the day we first met until the week after the wedding when we received a thank you letter from them! Alex accommodated our MANY requests, always assuring it was \"no problem\". There was not one single food missing from that evening and every guest left more than satisfied. When my dress ripped during the reception, my bridal attendant, Layla, was immediately attentive by getting pins and fastening it to repair. Franco made sure were fed and always had a drink. He also packed up food for us at the end of the night and made sure all of our belongings were gathered to return with us. If you're looking for a reception venue that's experienced and extremely considerate, Macaluso's is the place for your next special occasion. Without a doubt, I'd recommend them to anyone and plan to work with them for future events.

I have to say that they made me feel like a princess on my wedding day and during the whole planning process. The staff is warm and welcoming. You will be the only party there so all attention is placed on your wedding. I have been to may venues in the Bergen County/ Passaic County areas and I have to say their food is unsurpassed. The venue is elegant and they have a bridal staircase for your entrance. We never wanted for anything on our day. It is very affordable. We had an amazing day, and it is all thanks to the hardworking and generous staff. We can not thank them enough.

I am so glad that I had my wedding at Macaluso's. I worked with Maroun who was so pleasant and accommodating. Everything was taken care of the day of the wedding and I didn't have to worry about anything. Macaluso's is beautiful on the inside and outside. I felt very comfortable with the staff. Even though I was running around the day of my wedding and didn't get to eat all of the food that was there, what I did have was excellent. Now I just need for someone I know to get married there, so I can sit down and enjoy the cocktail hour as a guest.

I couldn't say anything other than perfection!!! #1, only one wedding at a time!!! What bride doesn't want that??? From the beginning to the end, Maroun and staff became like family to us. Maroun was in short my day of wedding planner once we got to Macaluso's. Layla, my bridal attendant was so helpful when the bustle of my dress came undone. While she was sewing me into my dress, which by the way, she did a fabulous job, I heard one of my song requests being played, she told me that I would hear it again and later in the night I DID! Our family and friends are still talking about the amazing Cocktail hour. You truly couldn't find something in there that you didn't like. Some of our Guests even wondered if there was going to be a dinner after the amount of food presented during Cocktail Hour. One of Macaluso's \"perks\" is the drop down screen that allows for everyone to have a good seat when the bridal party is announced all the way thru the first dances. If you are going to have your wedding at Macaluso's, you MUST MUST MUST do the Lobster Flambe!!! The presentation down to the lobster itself is out of this world and it is quite a spectacal to say the least. You do not want to miss out on this special treat! The staff was incredibly attentive to not only my husband and I but to our parents and entire room of guests. My Mother, who is not a big drinker would finish her glass of wine and would immediately be asked if she would like another drink. Dinner service was amazing, not only did I have the filet mignon but I had 2 pieces and it was cooked to perfection!!! Viennese & the Cake. Well, you can't go wrong with having Carlo's Bakery involved. This I found to be the biggest \"perk\". There are several cakes to choose from that are included with the package Macaluso's offers. I got to meet with Mauro himself at the bakery and selected a cake that wasn't included, but regardles, it's Carlo's Bakery, they couldn't serve anything bad. No one knew where to fit any of the dessert, but they absolutely did. It was great that when some of our family members early, they would pack up a little sampler for them to bring home. Although a small gesture, still a touching one. Our families are still talking about the great service and of course AMAZING food. I look forward to having more events there as we begin our lives together. I am quite picky, so if you want top notch this is where to go!!!

I couldn't say anything other than perfection!!! #1, only one wedding at a time!!! What bride doesn't want that??? From the beginning to the end, Maroun and staff became like family to us. Maroun was in short my day of wedding planner once we got to Macaluso's. Layla, my bridal attendant was so helpful when the bustle of my dress came undone. While she was sewing me into my dress, which by the way, she did a fabulous job, I heard one of my song requests being played, she told me that I would hear it again and later in the night I DID! Our family and friends are still talking about the amazing Cocktail hour. You truly couldn't find something in there that you didn't like. Some of our Guests even wondered if there was going to be a dinner after the amount of food presented during Cocktail Hour. One of Macaluso's \"perks\" is the drop down screen that allows for everyone to have a good seat when the bridal party is announced all the way thru the first dances. If you are going to have your wedding at Macaluso's, you MUST MUST MUST do the Lobster Flambe!!! Macaluso's is such an amazing venue to have your wedding. The food, service, and place itself it outstanding. I just got married there on June 25, 2011 and everyone that attended my wedding has not stopped talking about it. Everything was just more than I could want or imagine for our wedding day.
