Incredible venue! We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. Our guests gave us so many compliments on the space & how it was classy, yet modern. We needed very little decorations because it already has so much character! It was perfect for our ceremony on the staircase, cocktail hour, reception, dancing, & two outdoor spaces for mingling (& cigars). Jess was the real MVP on wedding day! She always made sure my groom & I were taken care of. She brought us an array of our appetizers, personally made us dinner plates, kept our champagne glasses full, & asked us if we wanted drinks. When we walked in before guests arrived, my partner made the comment that she directed the staff & operated with the efficiency of a \"NASCAR pitcrew\" - seriously, the staff is so efficient, welcoming, & we just loved how friendly & fun the bartenders were to compliment our amazing evening! They know how to plan & coordinate events -they take all the stress off your shoulders to entertain your guests while you watch the magic of the day unfold before your eyes. Thanks Majorette for the perfect day!

Wow wow wow! What an incredible experience we had for our September 2023 wedding working with the Majorette and their team. The venue itself is unique - offering a two tiered ceremony and reception space, multiple lovely outside spaces, a bridal suite, and a game room perfect for your after party. The venue coordinator, Brenden, was responsive and quick to make sure we had things in order and answers where needed. Was always able to answer the most tedious of questions. Our day of coordinator, Alicia, was an absolute angel and incredible to work with. She brought so much joy and professionalism to our day. Making us feel special while simultaneously making sure everything went as planned. She made it all feel like a breeze!! From beginning to the end we enjoyed our experience with everyone at the Majorette and beautiful venue they provided.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Majorette and it was perfect!! Brenden, the venue coordinator is so fun and easy to work with! The venue itself has such fun and unique vibes, and the courtyard and back deck are such cute outdoor spaces! We did our first look in the courtyard patio and it was perfect. Alicia was our day of coordinator and she made sure everything went so smoothly. She is so professional and easy to work with. The game room and bridal suite in the basement were the perfect spaces for our bridal party to hang out in before the ceremony as guests arrived. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful day and the venue and staff at Majorette were awesome!!

I simply cannot say enough great things about the Majorette and the venue director that we worked with, Brenden K.! He is an absolute rock star and he really knows his stuff. I’m a rather indecisive person and he was able to practically read my mind and suggest the most perfect things for our reception on 11/12/22. Our ~200 guests have gone out of their way to rave to us about the beauty of the venue itself and how fun and unique the game-room was downstairs! Looking back now, I can confidently say there is absolutely nothing I would have changed about our evening at the Majorette. It was by far the most perfect night of my, and my now husbands, life! ❤️

We loved having our wedding reception at Majorette! Everyone on the team, from Brenden our coordinator to all the day-of staff, made the day easy and enjoyable for us. The layout of the space is great for everyone to feel like they're all part of the same event but broken up enough where you can have different decoration areas and make the space yours! One of the big selling points was the game room downstairs, which we added on as our afterparty. This was so great to keep the party going without that awkward/chaotic \"where are we going?\" phase at the end of the reception.Overall, Majorette has a great team and staff, and we were able to make the space feel like it was ours to host a fun reception!

I absolutely loved this venue we got super lucky and switched to this venue last minute and I do not regret it at all. Brenden was our coordinator and he did an amazing job especially when dealing with my mom who can be difficult. Anything we wanted he worked hard to make it happen. Highly recommend this venue to all brides and grooms!

Majorette proved to be the best place for us to get married and have a reception and we're so glad we chose it. The place is unique and has character but in a way that allows you to put your own spin on things to make your event your own. I could not be happier with the way the space turned out looking the day of our wedding. We chose to do both ceremony and reception in the space and the team worked to ensure things went just like we envisioned. It was an easy transition while the team flipped the room and we got a lot of compliments on how unique the venue was and how smooth things seemed to go. The team at Majorette is huge part of my 5 star review! When we found Majorette they were willing to show the space to my friend with me on FaceTime as we live out of town and then again when I was able to visit in person. We had a coordinator transition happen a few months in but no one skipped a beat. Brenden got up to speed and was all over the details. He was professional but approachable and as the day got closer, I felt supported by his checking in and ensuring last minute things were taken care of. He was also super helpful offering advice or ideas for some things I just wasn't sure about. Having him around the day-of was also huge. We were so glad he was there to help and work with our day-of coordinator and we got several compliments from family and guests that interacted with him about how helpful and friendly he was. His flexibility to some changes we made, especially during the reception, was so appreciated too. If you opt for Majorette, ask for Brenden!Thank you Brenden and the Majorette Team!

Hands down one of the best venues! Brenden, the venue coordinator was SO amazing to work with. From helping to pick out a signature cocktail, to answering all my questions and emails promptly , to creating a special request last minute on our wedding day, I truly can’t say enough great things. The venue was beautiful- Fun art work and decorations, clean, great outdoor space in the back and side. There is also a fun game room in the basement to rent for after the reception to continue the celebration! Thank you for making our day amazing!

We had our ceremony at Majorette and I can not emphasize enough how amazing this venue is. Majorette helped us save our wedding after Covid caused a last minute cancellation with our original venue. The first time we saw it, we fell in love instantly and ended up loving it more than our original location! The team was so supportive and helpful with helping us create our dream ceremony. The venue itself is insanely gorgeous, especially with the addition of the courtyard for pictures. Everyone in the bridal party also loved using the amazing game room and bridal suite before the ceremony. My husband and I are forever grateful for this venue and its amazing team.

Her coordination and warmth with both couples and vendors is stellar. It was wonderful working with another wedding professional who is so clearly passionate about creating memorable events. Majorette provided the fun, memorable, unique vibe we wanted for our wedding! Decorated with countless Instagram-able features, our guests had the best time at our reception. Plus, their basement game room made for the perfect afterparty. The team is responsive and helpful in adding the special touches to make your event pop, like signature drinks, projector displays, decor ideas and multiple planning meetings. And, who could forge the second floor perimeter seating? Some of the Majorette features are an upcharge, so keep an eye on budget, but they provided us with a memorable celebration we'll never forget.

Where to begin? We had been in planning with the Majorette for about 2.5 years before our big day due to scheduling setbacks from the pandemic. Throughout the entire process, we were shown the utmost professional event planning and accommodating staff we could have imagined. The last two months leading up to our jamboree were sort of a sprint to the finish line with ever changing guidelines and last minute changes on our part. Jess was the literal best! She asked the right questions, helped us make decisions, and beautifully shaped how the entire event went, working side by side with her staff. She’s a queen! The space itself is just as awesome as the staff. It is bright and open, with tons of cool artwork and settings to take cool insta-worthy photos complete with a gorgeous black and white staircase that will fit the largest (and loudest) of families. Even the bathrooms have cool and unique art throughout) The courtyard looks like a dream, and the back deck is a great use of outdoor space. The Mezzanine also makes for great levels and interesting floor plans. This beautiful space and it’s staff hosted one of the best parties of my entire life, all wrapped up with a perfect giant “M”! Cheers to the Majorette!!! Xoxoxo!

The Majorette exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. We dealt with postponements due to covid and The Majorette helped with every aspect of replanning. All of our guests loved the venue and commented on how different and amazing It was. We had a phenomenal day despite initial setbacks due to COVID! The personalized drinks were a great touch. Be sure to rent the game room for an after party as well! Thank you for giving us a great wedding reception!

The Majorette and Deidre are absolutely fantastic!! We had both our ceremony and reception at this venue and everything went perfectly (which is saying a lot since our wedding was on a Friday the 13th in 2020!) I was not one of those brides who has had every detail of her wedding planned since age 13, so I was very grateful for Deidre’s calming manner and careful guidance which made planning our wedding a fun experience. The space itself is so wonderful that it required very little decoration to make it look beautiful, so if you’re looking to spend less money but still have the wedding of your dreams, look no further than the Majorette!

Majorette was the dream venue! When looking for a venue in St.Louis we often found venues downtown without parking or ones that had multiple weddings hosted in the same building. Conversely, there were wineries or barns as non-city venues. Neither seemed to fit what we were looking for until we found Majorette. Located in Maplewood, the venue is situated in a much safer area than Downtown and has it's own parking lot for guests. It holds up to 500 people indoors, which ended up being perfect for when capacity restrictions were placed because of COVID and we wanted to spread guests out. Additionally, they have a back patio and a newly added courtyard, which is absolutely adorable! We loved having two separate outdoor areas for guests to escape the main room or get some fresh air. It also was great for photo ops. The main room is grand - large center staircase leading down from the mezzanine to the main floor creates quite the entrance and aesthetic. Having a mezzanine level not only provides extra space for seating, but also gives those guests a birds eye view of everything rather than being tucked far away in a corner trying to look over heads to see what is going on. We also loved the bridal suite and the game room area downstairs. It is a hidden gem perfect for the bride and groom and their wedding party to hide away or for an after party. There are so many unique elements to Majorette that make it stands apart from other venues in St.Louis. I would highly recommend it to any couple!

This venue is absolutely amazing! We got married September 2020. We booked for our reception in June 2019 and fell in love with the balcony and tall windows that let the natural light come in. Covid changed our plans a bit and we ended up having our ceremony there as well. This was a decision that happened just a few months before the wedding. Stressed out the event coordinator Jess put our minds at ease and let us know no worries we could get married there too. Throughout the process she kept in contact with us with the ever changing city guidelines and a lot of helpful suggestions. Jess was also very helpful with the flow of the ceremony and reception at the rehearsal. We were able to take pictures on the beautiful patio before the wedding and the greenery was the perfect touch! Weeks later I’m still getting compliments about how beautiful the venue is. The venue also has a lot of space. Before Covid we were going to have a little over 200 guest and we knew if would fit that number comfortably and still give us a big dance floor. We were so happy that the venue was so large that it still allowed 120 guest to spread out during the wedding and room for dinner tables. My husband and I are still saying we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue and amazing day with great staff.

I cannot recommend the Majorette highly enough! The space is absolutely stunning, with a modern, very classy vibe. Our guests for our daughters wedding raved about the space. The outdoor deck and courtyard are stunning as well, and gave our guests extra space to explore and visit with one another. The venue coordinator, Jessica, bent over backwards to make our daughters wedding perfect and memorable. This was a very challenging job because we were doing this during a pandemic, with the county and city routinely changing their rules and mandates. 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding we had to move the ceremony from the church to the Majorette! Jessica took this in stride and held our hand and guided us through the entire process. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She had answers to our questions and reassurances to all our concerns. The evening of the ceremony and reception she and her staff were ever present, making sure everything was going exactly perfectly. If I had another child to marry off, I would definitely return to the Majorette!

We had our wedding reception at Majorette in Aug. 2019 and I cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. We looked at about 8 other venues in St. Louis for our reception and chose Majorette based on its classy yet modern look and vibe, the awesome, friendly staff and the location - it is in downtown Maplewood near many other bars & restaurants. Your guests will be impressed and have a great time! We did the \"Pop the Bubbly\" planning package, so we were able to have several planning meetings beforehand with Alyssa and Kelly, who were so professional, sweet and accommodating with our schedules. We actually had a theme wedding with tons of very specific, detailed decorations - they handled all of the decorating for me and everything was perfect! We also opted for the after-party in the basement game room which we would recommend, as so many of our guests stayed to keep celebrating! They also have an adorable pink bridal suite, a nice outdoor deck area and they just opened a beautiful side yard/courtyard as well. I cannot thank Majorette enough for such a perfect night!

We looked at many places in St Louis to find the venue that would seat a lot of people and not make anyone feel like they were so far away they weren't a part of things, and we found it in the Majorette! The venue is beautiful and was able to comfortably sit all of our guests. The glass wall on the second floor made everyone feel like they were still just as close to the head table and gave a great view! The staff at the Majorette could not have been more helpful in making our day flow perfectly. When we at the last minute realized we were having some timing issues and were not going to be able to do our own setting up as we had hoped, Amanda allowed us to customize our package to include setup and graciously stepped in to do it. The final look was just what we had hoped, and Amanda and the rest of the staff really did whatever we needed to make the night flow.Although the initial costs were a bit higher than some other venues and there was a bit more coordination to do ourselves because we picked all of our vendors, in the end we were able to not only save some money by customizing but also got exactly what we wanted for the day. We could not have been happier with our choice!

The Majorette was the absolute BEST venue we could have asked for! If you are looking for a fun, unique, easy-going, but also classy vibe look no further. The pictures don't do this venue justice, as I remember the day I walked in I thought wow this space is gorgeous and very spacious! Our wedding went off without a hitch, because of the fantastic people that work at the Majorette. I am very grateful for Mo, who initially answered all of our questions about the venue and helped us out with other vendors throughout the wedding process and Steve, who helped us make our dream a reality and literally found a way to make anything happen (like having jack and coke for my husband who won't drink any other whiskey, allowing our guests to watch the Kentucky Derby during our cocktail hour, and helping our day-of-coordinator with whatever she needed). Steve also helped us find our day-of-coordinator, Katie S., who also helped get every single vendor coordinated and set up all our decorations (a complete life savor on the the day of our wedding). My husband and I wanted a classy wedding but we also wanted our guests to enjoy themselves. We wanted guests to walk in and say \"yes, this is totally what I envisioned for Kyle and Elizabeth\". I will say every guest thought it exuded our personalities, and I think anyone would feel the same. A huge plus is the after party being in the basement with pool tables, darts, and shuffle board! We were able to keep our guests safe and enjoying each others company for that much longer. I could go on and on, but all I have to say is if you see this review, don't hesitate....JUST BOOK THE MAJORETTE! You won't regret it.

Working with the staff at Majorette was the best experience we could have asked for for our wedding! They were so flexible with us, accomodating of our caterer and DJ, helped us think of little details we would not have otherwise, and they were available ALL the time via email, phone, and for in-person visits. Special shout out to Steve who stayed so on top of things, we truly felt like we had nothing to worry about. He really thought of everything for us, and was open to all ideas we had. The venue is so unique, well kept, clean, modern - our guests loved the event (and especially the built-in after party downstairs in the game room!) Highly recommend to anyone!

Best Venue in St. Louis!!! We had our wedding at Majorette in December and had the perfect night! We fell in love with this venue and even before our wedding, decided to do our engagement photos done there. The venue is modern, cool, spacious,unique, and overall absolutely stunning! The staff is professional and worked with all of our other vendors so well. Our guests were in awe the entire night! We LOVE Maplewood! We LOVE Majorette!!! Thank you for the best night ever!

The most amazing venue! We had our reception here in July and I highly recommend the Majorette. Mo and Grace were incredible to work with, so responsive , enthusiastic and creative. There are so many unique details throughout the venue and the preferred caterers gave us the options we wanted as opposed to other reception sites where you are tied to one caterer. After our reception we booked the game room for the after-party which was so fun and allowed us a little more time to keep the party going!

If you're looking for a place to throw a party, Majorette is the place for you! After recently having my wedding reception at Majorette, my husband and I could not be more impressed and pleased with the staff and the space. Both Erinn and Jordan were available by email, phone or in person, even on short notice,. The space is absolutely gorgeous on its own, but also looks great with added decor. Excellent bar selection and preferred caterers were fabulous as well. You also need to check out the basement game room where we hosted our after party after the reception! The staff made sure that everything was taken care of so that we could enjoy our reception. We booked this venue when it was still under construction and it surpassed all of our expectations. You will not regret having your event at Majorette-and is guaranteed that your guests will love it, too!

Erinn and her team are invaluable! \"Best venue I've ever been to!\" -said every single guest! Just had my wedding reception this past July. We signed during construction and I'm so happy we did! We got to see the magic take shape and come to life! The venue is incredible, so much to customize in the space and there is so much space! Erinn and Kelly are superb! They were on top of every single little thing related to the reception and conception of design and order of the night! Erinn was the best reception planner/organizer I could have ever dreamed of! She kept each moment rolling into the next and gently and so kindly reminded us, and the DJ, what came next! She was brilliant and so friendly to our guests as well. Majorette is a great location! Extraordinary space inside, beautiful patio, and the downstairs after party was the best decision I've ever made! We danced, played pool, played twister and had plenty of space and time to relax and hang out with our friends and family who stayed! Cut down on our guests cab fares for the night and kept everyone together to continue the celebration! It was truly magical and they have amazing preferred caterers! I was really impressed by their diversity and price range per caterers of choice. I am completely satisfied with the venue and staff! Everything was perfect and we are already talking about having a reason to have another party or event at the Majorette! Thank you so much!

I literally cannot even begin to describe how amazing the venue and staff at Majorette are. We booked during construction, and they just never slowed down. Erinn, Kelly and Jordan went so above and beyond, I feel like we should have paid extra for their service. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and they were there every step. Not to mention that the guests could no stop raving about how great and unique the venue was. For weddings or any other events, you can't go wrong!!

Amy Lewis (Manager)

Amy started very part time, but her passion for the industry, company, and clients got her to our business manager position in less than two years. Now she runs the show and is absolutely killing it! Amy goes above and beyond for every incoming client.The owners, Pat and Carol Schuchard, have taken historic buildings of St. Louis by storm - In 2014, they brought life back to what is now Boo Cat Club! With those renovations completed, they began turning an old furniture store into a stunning contemporary venue that hosts weddings and events of all kinds: Majorette.
